The Dirty Acres Grille Insert in the American Tactical design is for those of you that have
a 2007 to 2018 JK that are looking for a way to customize your Jeep, show your patriotic
spirit but not drastically change the front end of the Jeep.
This is definitely going to give the Jeep a little bit of a custom look but you're not
changing that iconic seven slide grille, you're not changing the headlight openings, you're
not dramatically changing anything.
This is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrench installation.
This really just drops in behind your grille.
And that's something that I really like about this and something that I think makes it worth
the premium that you're paying for this over some of the other options out there.
This is very, very well designed, it's very well engineered, it's made of very high-quality
components.
But as I also just said this is gonna be a little bit more expensive than some of the
other options.
You can get some other grille inserts, you can get vinyl to put on your grille, you can
get all kinds of different things to just slightly change up the look of your Jeep.
And this is gonna be one of the more pricey options if you're looking for something that
is just a visual impact.
But again quality of engineering, quality of build, materials used all do make it worth
the higher cost.
So what you're getting here from Dirty Acres is a piece of perforated aluminum.
And the benefit to the aluminum is that if it does catch a little bit of a chip in it
it's not going to rust.
You get a little bit of oxidation but you're going to get full on rust like you would with
mild steel.
And that really helps this to hold up and keep looking good for a very long time.
Of course, this has the American Tactical design on it.
It's the black and white American flag.
There are gonna be a couple different options out there that you can get from Dirty Acres
and then you're also going to have a little bit of a, almost like a rubber weatherstripping
that goes around the outside of this and that stays on there.
That helps to ensure a really tight fit when you install this in your Jeep because again
the way that this thing is engineered it really just pinches between the grille and the radiator.
So that helps to ensure a really tight fit.
So the way that this is built, the materials that this is built out of and the engineering
that went into building something that is a very easy install all makes this a very
nice choice for someone looking for a grille insert.
This grille comes insert comes in at $125 and that is a little bit more than I usually
like to spend on something that is a visual modification and not a functional part of
my Jeep.
However, I do think that this has a lot of things built into it that make it a premium
product that is worth a premium price.
I already mentioned all of those features.
This is very well engineered to make for an incredibly easy installation, it's built out
of very high-quality materials and it's a very high quality of build.
So I do think that it's worth the premium we pay.
Now a member of the install team will show you how to get this installed.
First thing we're gonna do is open our hood up and get to removing the front grille.
Next thing that we're gonna do is remove the six pushpins that hold our grille in place.
All right.
Next thing that we're gonna do is pull out on the top of our grille to allow us some
room so we can insert our grille insert.
All right.
We're now ready to install our grille insert.
We're gonna drop this in place and it's going to rest on top of the bottom clips.
Okay.
We can now push our grille back into place and install our six pushpins on the top.
All right.
Last step here, guys, is to close your hood up.
All right.
