It's time for a Top Wing Guessing Game.

Ooh, cool!

That box has a propeller on it.

Let's guess which cadet is inside.

Whoa!

Those are Penny's colors.

[laughing]

Another one? It's Penny's badge!

It's Penny!

This is cooler than cool!

Hi, Penny!

Time to fly penguin style.

We're going turbo.

Now let's take a look at Penny in action.

Salty says Captain Greenbeard's lost treasure is still deep down

in Shipwreck Cove.

And I'm gonna find it.

Sunken treasure?

[gobbling]

Greenbeard's treasure?

The most valuable treasure a pirate ever lost?

That is so cool!

I, Commodore Herky J. Smurkturkski III, herby put you, Top Wing cadet Penny,

in charge of finding the lost treasure of Captain Gobble-Gobble Greenbeard.

Me? In charge?

OK.

- Go Penny! - Yeah!

Find that treasure!

And I'll oversee the entire operation my gobble-gobble self.

Hi, Penny. Hear you're in charge of a treasure hunt.

Yeah, I'm headed to Shipwreck Cove.

Salty said the treasure is supposed to be really, really deep.

I hope I can find it.

The Aqua Wing's metal detector should let you know

when you get close to the treasure.

Great idea, Bea.

I just need to get down deep enough.

When the beep gets faster, it means you're close to the treasure.

It really is deep down here.

[sonar beeping]

Nothing yet, guys.

Keep trying, Penny. Nothing goes deeper than the Aqua Wing.

OK, Bea.

[sonar beeping]

[gasping]

I think I found something.

Through that opening.

Penny, your sub is too big to fit.

Don't worry, I'll use my mini sub.

Made it!

[gasping]

There it is.

I've got Greenbeard's lost treasure.

The Commodore will be so happy.

Here, Commodore.

Gotta go.

Types of Sensors - Sensors Types - Different Types of Sensors - Duration: 5:06.

In our normal life we used different types of sensors that are commonly used in various

applications. All these sensors are used for measuring one of the physical properties like

Temperature, Resistance, Capacitance, Conduction, Heat Transfer etc.

In this video, we have seen different Types of sensors along with their practical applications.

There are a few types of sensors such as temperature sensors, Infrared sensor, Proximity Sensors,

Pressure Sensors, Level Sensors, Smoke and Gas Sensors, Ultrasonic Sensors, and Touch

Sensors are commonly used in most of the electronics applications.

Temperature Sensors:

A temperature sensor is a device, typically, a thermocouple or RTD, that provides for temperature

measurement through an electrical signal. In other word, A temperature sensor is a device

that detects and measures hotness and coolness and converts it into an electrical signal.

There are different types of Temperature Sensors like LM35 I C, Thermistors, Thermocouples,

RTD etc. Temperature Sensors are used everywhere like

computers, mobile phones, automobiles, air conditioning systems, industries etc.

IR Sensors:

An infrared sensor (IR) is an electronic device, that emits in order to sense some aspects

of the surroundings. An IR sensor can measure the heat of an object as well as detects the

motion. These types of sensors measure only infrared radiation, rather than emitting it

that is called as a passive IR sensor. Different applications where IR Sensor is

implemented are Mobile Phones, Robots, Industrial assembly, automobiles etc.

Proximity Sensors:

A proximity or presences sensor is the one which is able to detect the presences of nearby

objects without any physical contact. They usually emit electromagnetic radiations and

detect the changes in reflected signal if any.

Proximity sensors are also used in machine vibration monitoring to measure the variation

in distance between a shaft and its support bearing. This is common in large steam turbines,

compressors, and motors that use sleeve-type bearings.

Pressure Sensors:

A pressure sensor is a device for pressure measurement of gases or liquids. Pressure

is an expression of the force required to stop a fluid from expanding, and is usually

stated in terms of force per unit area. A pressure sensor usually acts as a transducer;

it generates a signal as a function of the pressure imposed.

Pressure sensors can also be used to indirectly measure other variables such as fluid or gas

flow, speed, water level, and altitude.

Level Sensors:

A level sensor is one kind of device used to determine the liquid level that flows in

an open system or closed system. The level measurements can be available in two type's

namely continuous measurements and point level measurements. The continuous level sensor

is used to measure the levels to a precise limit, but they give correct results. Whereas

point level sensors used to determine the level of liquid whether that is high or low.

Ultrasonic Sensors:

An ultrasonic sensor is an instrument that measures the distance to an object using ultrasonic

sound waves. An ultrasonic sensor uses a transducer to send and receive ultrasonic pulses that

relay back information about an object's proximity. Ultrasonic sensor can be used for measuring

wind speed and direction, tank or channel fluid level, and speed through air or water.

For measuring speed or direction, a device uses multiple detectors and calculates the

speed from the relative distances to particulates in the air or water.

Smoke and Gas Sensors:

A smoke detector is a device that senses smoke, typically as an indicator of fire. Commercial

security devices issue a signal to a fire alarm control panel as part of a fire alarm

system, while household smoke detectors, also known as smoke alarms, generally issue a local

audible or visual alarm from the detector itself.

Touch Sensors:

Touch sensors are also called as tactile sensors and are sensitive to touch, force or pressure.

They are one of the simplest and useful sensors. The working of a touch sensor is similar to

that of a simple switch. When there is contact with the surface of the touch sensor, the

circuit is closed inside the sensor and there is a flow of current. When the contact is

released, the circuit is opened and no current flows.

Touch sensors are used in a wide range of display applications, from smart homes and

appliances to security and industrial solutions.

Shots & Slang: Hawaiian Edition - Duration: 4:57.

- Let's do okole maluna.

It's Hawaiian for cheers.

- First time I've ever heard it.

- What?

That 'cause you one haole.

- Whoa!

This one.

- [Lana] You too, you know.

- [Brian] She's getting ready.

- You know, what they say is

one foot on sand, one hand, Heineken.

(Lana laughs)

Pidgin is a, uh,

it's pretty much Creole English

that originated from plantation times.

Pakalolo, pakalolo is marijuana,

but it also, it translates to crazy plant, right?

- Oh, really?

- Yeah, make you go lolo.

- Chee hoo is like, it's more of like a chee.

Like it's, it comes from your--

- Chee hoo!

- It's like saying woo!

- Yeah, it's like yay!

Ho, you see the braddah get barreled over there?

Chee hoo!

Haole to you too.

(Lana laughs)

- I'm a haole.

- I'm half haole.

I used to get crap at school for being half haole.

And then I would be like,

"It's okay brah, my last name's Wong."

And they'd be like, "okay."

- Foreigner.

- Well--

- So it's not white, it's foreigner.

It's foreigner.

- I guess.

So the true definition of haole,

which means without breath.

Ha is breath and ole is without.

(Lana laughs)

So, it's pretty much anyone who's not pono

or anyone that doesn't want to give help

or show aloha to anyone,

I don't know.

There's plenty ways of being haole.

- How 'bout some slippahz?

- Slippahz? Oh, yeah.

- That's what you fricken get slapped with.

- I get rubba slippahz.

- You wear on top your feet all day.

- But, you know what, if you have to run fast,

where you put your slippahz?

- In your hands.

Brah, you get the Spider-man bibidees, cous.

- Oh, talking 'bout my underwear again?

- Yah braddah.

- Aw, man.

Oh, hama's.

- [Lana] Yeah. - [Brian] all hamajang.

- All hamajang.

Brah, you see that chicks face?

some kind hamajang.

- It's all f-cked up.

- [Matty] What?

All fun and games until someone has hamajang face.

- [Brian] Shootz. - [Lana] It's like yes, yes.

- What does shootz mean?

- Brah, what you stay doing today?

Oh you know, I like go surf, brah, what you like go surf?

- Shootz!

- Shootz. - Shootz.

- So ono.

So ono.

- Buggah is ono. - Buggah is ono.

- When the food is good.

- When it's not too ...

- [Lana] When you get cracks.

- [Matty] What happened to the other guy.

- When I had a few too many Heinekins.

(laughter)

- Yeah, it's the truth.

What happens is, like, if you get cracks, you all buss up.

- [Brian] All buss. - [Matty] You get all buss up.

It's what happens to the other guy.

- A moke.

- A moke is a very large local braddah.

Or, you know what, there can be pint size moks too.

- Anybody who's nuts, basically,

who you're not gonna mess with.

- It's an attitude.

- [Lana] It is. - [Matty] It's an attitude.

It's a lifestyle.

Usually get--

Usually include a neck tat or two.

- These green bottles and maybe some pakalolo.

- That's for sure.

- A tita is,

tell us, what is a tita?

- Somebody who don't wanna mess with.

Someone who's gonna give you cracks.

- You'll get lickings.

Get lickings all day.

- Somebody who give you the stink eye

who just, you don't wanna mess with, that's all.

- No you don't wanna.

- [Brian] Typically-- - [Lana] She'll get nuts.

- [Matty] Nothing to do with a tita.

I've seen some tiny titas in my day, too.

- There's plenty titas in Hawaii.

And they come in all different sizes.

All shapes and sizes.

- Short titas, tall titas, skinny titas, Wong titas.

- Yeah, all kind.

- Did I say Wong titas?

You get Chinese titas too.

(Lana laughs)

I gotta stop drinking Heineken already.

- [Brian] One hand in the sand,

- One hand Heineken, that's how.

- Ohana means family.

Aloha is treating somebody how you wanna be treated.

- It's mutual respect.

Aloha is,

it's love, it's kindness.

- [Lana] It's respect. - [Matty] It's respect.

- I think that respect is the biggest word.

Respect.

- That, 100 percent.

And as soon as someone's not giving aloha,

you automatically know.

They stick out like a sore thumb.

When you're driving down the H1 highway

in a white Jeep Wrangler.

- [Brian] JOJ - [Matty] When you JOJ.

Straight--

- Just off the jet.

- Thank you.

- Tell me more about, like, an uncle or an auntie.

- Okay, well, pretty much anyone who has seniority over you.

- It's like mister and missus.

It's a respect thing.

It's like mister, missus, auntie, uncle.

- If you ever are in Hawaii

and you want to show respect to somebody

that is older than you,

you would call them auntie or uncle.

- You don't know their names.

- You don't know their name.

- Auntie, uncle.

- If you have manapua man, never see him for the first time,

ho uncle how's it?

What, can get three manapuas, two porkhash, and one,

I like one small Skittles.

And six pack Heineken.

Battlelands Royale - BATTLE TALK - IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME - Duration: 12:05.

What's up, guys? Edhy's here again and today I have a new battle talk to you

I know you are waiting for this and today is the day

but before that please don't forget subscribe the channel

hit the bell to don't lose any news make comments

and help the channel sharing it to our friends

and today I have here a special guest with me

How are you Chris?

Hi, Edhy I'm good! Thanks! How are you?

I'm fine, Chris! Thanks for ask me... So do you know I have some questions to you?

First question: many players don't like the new in-game leaderboard 'cause

it's based in level and not by wins. Why this decision?

yeah I think it's a good point that you made in terms of their being different used how the

leaderboards could be constructed and this is just the first iteration

basically of as bringing leaderboards into the game

That is not necessarily mean it's the final thing I mean for persons been important to be

able to rank people by level at least at this stage but it doesn't mean it's

final by any stretch of the imagination say you and your subs can keep sending

your suggestions and for how you think we could make the leaderboards better as

well because that's really important to us like we want to make the leaderboards

something there's a really valuable resource you guys say if you think they

could work better in a different way then yeah make sure you

That's great! To know you guys are

doing something based in suggestions like in the rest of the game

I know you're always working this always see the suggestions of the people

and trying to put this in the game

It's fundamental to everything that

we're doing like we're any a very small team so sometimes it's kind of hard for

us to get all of your suggests the lifeblood and why we've created

Battlelands is because we want to create something that works how you say

everybody who has an idea on discord or whether it's a comment on one of your videos

idea or a message and our Facebook groups they do get listened to

and yeah and we try to cram as much as we can it and yes sometimes we just

can't get to it so everyone but do keep their suggestions coming cuz we love seeing them

so in the two last of updates, actually in the three last updates

there aren't new areas on the map.

Only the snow and the fall theme now we have special buildings that we can enter

but in the the next update will you bring new areas on the map?

potentially let's say the map is

intended to be constantly evolving as you've seen with the fall map and the winter map

it's unlikely that the map will stay the same forever right say

we've introduced an air base for example which is joined to be like a really

popular place where lots of players drop and yeah let's see what new areas

come about in the future it won't stay the same forever I can guarantee you that

And I realized the new characters of Season 3 are from different ages and places

Was this planed like a theme? The time travel?

there's definitely a few themed characters in there some characters we've thrown back from the

past and that there's definitely a theme going on with the season 3 Battle Pass

and it could be something that we repeat in the future for sure

in season 4 if that's something to have helpful for sure

That's great I like to see that in the game. That mix of ages and but at same time

I look forward for the new theme for the next season

it's always a great surprise to see them and well I'm always want all characters

yeah me too

Can we expect for different weapons like swords or grenades?

Who knows? So there are plenty of different types of weapons to

choose from in the game right now we've really enjoyed introducing new

weapons as the game has grown say back at the start I think we only started out

with with four weapons and the two weapons that you can get find in the

Supply Drop and adding the quadzooka into the mix recently for their Supply Drop weapon has

really mixed that the end game up and it's been really cool

for us to see how players have reacted to the new weapons that we've been

introducing along the way like I think the Kar99 as well really adds like an

extra two strategic layer to people who were really enjoying the sniper before

for example say yeah there's no limit to the kind of things

that could come into the game and as always it's really cool to hear

suggestions like swords and grenades and other things that you guys feel might improve the gameplay

well I think swords and grenades it will be a great

addition to the game but at the same time I agree with you because we need

the game simple. It need to be accessible to everyone like the pro

players from the eSports and also to the casual players that have a llimited time to play

yeah exactly and we really want to keep that feel of a player

picking up the game for the first time dropping in picking a weapon close by

and you know having that instant feeling "wow this is an awesome game"

this super fun and super easy and super accessible to play say yeah

the simplicity and the really fun side of the controls is something

that we would want to keep without adding anything less unnecessarily complicated

We know the squads and clans are in the list of the things to do

and I know you need to make a lot of things to bring those features to the game

but could we have an estimated time to this happen?

like everything it's really hard to put an exact date on when you

can expect features to be released because we are quite a small team

there's like less than 10 people working on the actual game itself and where

you've seen on discord and even on your own YouTube video comments like that the

list of suggestions that we could put in the game

it just gets longer and longer every day say a like squads and clans are

suggested a lot and something else is also suggested quite a lot is events and

we will certainly be introducing events very soon and I can promise you that

sort of thing to be really excited about cuz they're gonna be really cool but ya

can't give like a concrete timeline or a concrete date on when you might expect

to see them but I don't think you have to wait too long let's put it that way I

can promise you like there's a lot of really exciting stuff to look forward to

for sure so yeah you don't have to worry and you don't have

to wait too long that. there's some really really big than some really cool

stuff so make sure that your subscribers as well although I'm pretty sure they

will be but they can keep up to date with our latest updates on our Facebook, Instagram

our own YouTube as well there's always a nice idea although

Edhy you're often first to hear of the news as but yeah it's always nice for

people to have a backup source where they can stay in tune with everything

that would bring into the game over the next few months

I will looking for the news because I know that huge things are coming to the game

so today it's Monday when we're recording this video and I don't

know it's this video it will be in the air on Tuesday or on the Wednesday

but today it's Monday we had a new update with the gingerbread man that's a great

character I love but we want to know what is in the next update

so well we've been working really hard to bring the last couple updates to you

We've had Claire. you have a gingerbread man character now

we've literally just pushed the button to release this I think by the time your

subscribers have watched and have played with the new character we're gonna

absolutely love him say there's been plenty to look forward to there as we

focused on Christmas and then that the next big thing for us is working on have

bigger features that will be released very soon after Christmas

so rather than the kind of content based updates you can expect to see something

a little bit more comprehensive let's say just around the corner

perhaps in January time say that's the next immediate focus for now

Guys, Chris has a special gift to us. Right, chris?

Yeah it's Christmas and we don't want to leave your subscribers empty-handed say today

I guess you, Edhy will go into the details of the competition and in a

little bit more detail but we've got three gingerbread man bundles to give away say

yeah happy Christmas guys!

Oh guys! Did you hear that?

3 bundles of the gingerbread man guys and all you need to do is make a comment with a

Christmas poem talking about Battlelands in the poem okay guys

it's a Christmas Poem talking about the Battlelands in this poem this point

that sounds like a lot of fun I'm looking forward to reading the comments

I think we will read great things! Yeah for sure!

Chris thanks so much for being here it's always

pleasure receive you and I hope you will be back soon

I thank you very much for having me ideas been great to chat and yeah

have a great Christmas to you and to all of you subscribers as well

keep up the good work and we'll definitely speak to you again soon.

thank you

well guys I hope you like the video so subscribe the channel

Forgotten Realms Lore - Humans in D&D Part 2 - Duration: 5:49.

Hello everybody Jorphdan here the PH is silent.

We're continuing with our look at the various human cultures within the

Forgotten Realms.

In the previous video we discussed the origins of Humans to Toril as well as a four of the

major ethnicities.

So be sure to check out that video for more information, links in the description below.

But for now we return talking about the Mulan.

The Mulan make their home in Mulhorand, Thay, Unther, and Chondalwood.

They were once slaves in the Imaskar empire who had brought the Mulan to Faerun through

portals.

Since the fall of the Imaskari the Mulan have dominated the eastern shores of the Sea of

Fallen Stars.

After a millennia of rulership, the Mulan have become arrogant, and highly resistant

to change.

They believe their culture is superior to all others.

Trained in magic there are disagreements within their culture as to which type of magic to

pursue, Arcane or Divine.

The group that followed a more arcane direction migrated to Thay starting that empire of Red

Wizards.

The Mulan worship the Mulhorandi pantheon, which are Egyptian gods, after the Mulan

left their home world their gods were prevented from aiding their worshipers on Faerun by

a barrier.

With the help of Ao they were able to circumvent this barrier and the Mulan had enough power

to defeat the Imaskari.

The Rashemi are next, and they hail from the northeastern reaches of Faerun.

From the region of Rashemen they also inhabit Thesk, Thay, and Aglarond.

The Rashemi are descendants of nomadic tribes.

The Rashemi existed before the fall of the Imaskar Empire living out their lives in Rashemen.

They were warlike and resisted the Mulhorandi efforts to take their lands.

Then the Orcgate Wars occurred and the First Empire of the Mulhorand reached out and hired

the Rashemi as mercenaries.

After the war the Mulhorand pulled back from the North leaving an opening for the Rashemi

to establish new empires.

Two empires were created that warred with one another over territory.

This came to an end with the destruction of both empires.

One at the hand of an avatar of Kossuth, while the other army was led by a demon lord Eltab.

Following this the Witches of Rashemen came about, a secret sisterhood to preserve the

empire's magical lore.

Partially because of their history their view of life has become an unending series of challenges

to be faced and overcome.

Strong emphasis is placed on Strength, either physical or magical.

Respect must be earned in Rashemi culture.

The Shou are one of the many human ethnic groups in far-off Kara-Tur.

This made my list because it's listed as one of the ethnic groups in the 5th edition

player's handbook but there wasn't much information about the Shou in the PHB, or

the book Races of Faerun.

There is some information in Dungeon Magazine 195 about a settlement in Faerun of Shou immigrants.

The Shou people come from the lands of Shou Lung; of the great empire raised in the Name

of the Dragon.

Honestly I need to do an entire video on Kara-Tur or a video series.

But this area and people were narratively influenced from Ancient Japan and China.

The Shou are a proud people with honor and tradition.

After migrating to Faerun many have held onto their culture which brought a sense of wonder

to some of the other peoples in Faerun.

There is a major Shou city in Faerun though called Xiousing.

Many have intermarried with other humans but have held onto their cultural heritage from

Kara-Tur.

Tethyrians are native to well Tethyr and the surrounding areas.

They have been conquered numerous times by other humans and thus their culture is a melting

pot of Calishite, Chondathan, Illuskan, and Low Netherese.

They compose the majority of the lower classes, especially in Calimshan.

Warfare throughout their history has hardened them and Tethyrians make excellent fighters

and rogues.

They have an oral history which encourages bards as well to keep the stories retold.

Tethyrians started out as a regular human tribe living along the sword coast.

The Genie Lords brough Calishites with them and the nation of Calimshan was created.

The Tethyrians were absorbed into this and subjugated.

Rebellion occurred within Calishite rule and by -370 DR the clans were forced to defend

their independence on numerous occasions, culminating in the crowning of Tethyr's

first king in -212 DR.

More of this can be found in my Tethyr video so please click the link in the top right

corner.

Freedom is the most precious gift to a Tethyrian.

They have struggled and survived together so much to be Tethyrian is to be part of a

family.

Loyalty to one's kin and neighbor and generosity to those in need are important aspects of

Tethyrian society.

A Tethyrian fighter would rather wield a sentimental blade carried by his grandfather than a new

one crafted for him.

They have strong ties to arcane and divine magic, and bardcraft is revered with its people.

The Turami were native to Faerun but pushed out by neighboring human tribes to their present

day location.

The Mulan, after the fall of the Imaskar Empire, migrated west and displaced the native Turami

who were driven along the southeastern coast of the Sea of Fallen Stars.

They eventually settled and founded the nation of Turmish around -37 DR.

Finally there are even more human ethnicities that are covered in other books like the Sword

Coast Adventurer's Guide and Races of Faerun that I just won't be able to cover in this

video.

The Arkaiun from Dambrath and Shar.

The Bedine from southern Anauroch.

The Ffolk from the Moonshae Isles.

The Gur who live in the western heartlands and consider themselves the children of Selune. The

Halruaan, the Imaskari, the Nar, the Shaaran, and the Ulutiun.

There are little bits about them in both books mentioned.

That's not even covering the fallen human empires such as the Netherese.

If you are really interested in playing a unique human character in a Forgotten Realms

Campaign give these a quick read.

You could be a Maztician human cleric from the far-off land that lies west of Faerun,

specially sent to figure out this death curse in Tomb of Annihilation.

Thanks for watching everyone.

Do I Need Hooks On My Filter? - Duration: 0:35.

One of the most common questions we get is, "Do I need hooks on the bottom of my

filter?" and the really easy answer to that is if the filters you currently have

have hooks, then the filters you order need to have hooks. When you go

online you can add the option to add hooks to the bottom of your filter.

If the filters you have don't have hooks then just order them without the hooks.

It's really that simple. If you do have any questions, just give us a call and

we'll help you.

Affinity Photo Frequency Separation for Landscape Photography - Duration: 8:20.

this week we're looking at affinity photo and frequency separation we're

going to take this image and change it to this last week I demonstrated a

technique called frequency separation using Photoshop following that video

I've had quite a few questions asking can you do the same thing in affinity

photo and the answer is yes and in today's video I'm going to look at just

how easy it is to do that now at the moment I've got an open on screen and

one of my landscape images that I shot the other morning so far all I've done

is have applied some denoise to the sky because it was a little bit grainy what

I'm going to do first is select the background layer in the layers tab and

I'm going to duplicate it now because I've duplicated it I've still got this

live filter attached to it so I'll delete that and I'm just left with a

straight file with a layer and I'll duplicate that again this second layer

I'm just gonna hide it for the moment and instead I'm going to start by

selecting the first background layer to create your frequency separation you

don't need to do all the blurring and apply image that you needed to do in

Photoshop there's actually a much easier way in affinity and if you come up to

the filters menu you'll find is actually a frequency separation filter and it

does the hard work for you when we create a frequency separation what we're

doing is we're creating an image that contains color information and a

separate image that contains the detail with separating them now in affinity

photo we refer to the color information as being low frequency and the detail

information is being high frequency and this frequency separation filter allows

us to control that if you've watched the Photoshop video I did you'll know that

we used different radiuses for different features so for example we use the

radius of about 6 pixels if we were going to sharpen the image now as I'm

changing this radio you'll notice that the frequency is also

responding to it so the high frequency is also responding to it to separate out

the detail for this example I'm going to create a sharpening layer and I'm going

to use about four pixels all I have to do is click apply

what affinity photo is actually done is is created from one layer a high

frequency layer and also a low frequency layer and it's automatically set the

blending mode of the high frequency layer to linear light and the

low-frequency layer is still normal if I turn off the high frequency layer you

can see that the low frequency layer is blurred and when we turn on the high

frequency layer it comes back into focus so that's our frequency separation I'm

just going to group those two together for the moment in a folder and we're

going to call that a sharp pink if you've watched the other video you'll

know that one of the features that we can do with this or one of the things we

can do with this that frequency separation is we can apply sharpening

just to the detail layer or the high frequency layer I'm going to have a look

at doing that now and I'm going to zoom in to 200% but focus on this rock in the

foreground and now all I need to do is use my unsharp mask to apply sharpening

and here as soon as I do that I only have to apply a small amount of

sharpening and it's really brought that layer into focus

I can apply that now and I've created myself a frequency separation that's

very much for sharpening and I can turn that off and on to create the sharpening

effect now I'll just collapse that for a moment and I'm going to repeat the

exercise I did in the previous video of adding a nice Orton effect or a glowing

effect to this image to really enhance it so I select this of the background

layer I'll just turn that on I'm going to again select my frequency

separation and this time I'm going to use a higher radius I'm not going to use

something in the region of about 28 pixels

I'll apply that and the gain affinity for hotel creates the two layers and

I'll put those together now in a new folder and I'll call that autumn effect

if I expand that folder and I turn off the frequency

separation you can see now the background layer or the love frequency

layer is just blurred it comes back into focus when we apply the high frequency

to create the glowing effect all we need to do is reduce this layer that produces

the sharpening and as we do that it creates this very nice effect where

everything's becoming blurred but at the moment it doesn't give you the classic

Orton effect to do that all we need to do is duplicate this low-frequency layer

and we'll know set it instead of being normal to soft light and immediately it

creates that very contrasted deep glowing effect now it's a little bit too

strong so what we'll do is we'll reduce it down to something that looks a little

better and no because we don't want everything to be ultra blurred in this

will actually start to use some masks so I'll add a masks to the low frequency

layer that is the normal layer and was like the mask and I'll come over to my

tools and I'll select a paintbrush we'll set the opacity quite low so something

around 10% it's got a soft edge to it and I'm using black paint and all I'm

going to do now is paint over on the mask these rocks in the foreground and

as I paint I'm creating a mask that will hide the softening effect on these rocks

and so it sort of focuses the attention onto the rocks which are now looking

quite sharp and I'll just also apply a little bit of the masking onto the

background here in in the mid ground rather and that's created the effect

onto this rock so we can now see a background glowing effect and we can see

the foreground rocks in sharp relief now if we've applied a little bit too much

sharpening to those rocks and I think we have all we have to do is switch colors

to paint with white and we congratulate paint all for those until we get the

blend as we would like it

and that's looking about right we can also if we want to further fine-tune

this sharpening effect on the linear light layer and we appear to have about

right at about 65% in this image if I turn off that glowing effect that was

the original that's the adjustment as you can see it's made a substantial

difference and I'm sure you'll agree that affinity photo is much easier to

use for this effect than Photoshop was if you haven't seen the original video

and you want to know more about frequency separation I'll put the link

in the details of this video below I hope you found that useful I'm

Google Analytics Tutorial - How to use the multichannel funnel conversion report - Duration: 2:38.

In this video let's talk about the reports in Google Analytics

that's called multichannel funnels. We're going to go into

analytics. We're gonna go to conversions and this whole

section in your conversions report that's called

multichannel funnels. In particular we're gonna to talk

about one report today which is the assisted conversions report.

Now this is the report that starts to stitch together all

the different traffic sources.

So instead of just worrying about what created the last

traffic source that created the e-commerce or the goal actually

happened this one not only shows you what last caused it but also

shows you what assisted in it.

So if we come through here I'm going to click where it says

source medium.

So when I click on source medium and this will show us all the

different traffic sources and then what they are responsible

for.

So in this case I look at Google organic that's number 3 here.

So in Google organic what I'm looking at is that it was

directly responsible for 57100 different conversions for a

total value of 18000.

Now this is not just e-commerce transactions as is e-commerce

and goals.

If I want to look at just e-commerce which in this case I

do I'm going to click up here and I'm going to uncheck this

goal section so that goals are not being in our numbers as well

as far as transactions happening or conversions.

And I just want the e-commerce transactions get a little bit

cleaner idea of what's happening in Google Analytics on the

traffic source and we're gonna look at now it's number four.

So, sorry number 3 Google Analytics, Google organic here.

So, we're gonna go to Google organic, we can see the same

18000 that's our e-commerce coming through 229 transactions

for 18000.

That's what google organic actually provided for me.

They were on search, they came to my site, they bought.

In this case the Google Merchandise Store site and they

bought but it also assisted in a another separate 245

transactions for additional value of thirty thousand

dollars.

So yes while it was directly responsible for 18000 dollars

there was another 30000 dollars that google organic had

something to do with and that's what makes this report

incredible.

So if you're doing a lot of different paid media sources and

you're wondering if maybe your e-mail is the traffic source

which closes your clients but then the Facebook traffic if

it's not really closing clients, is doing anything?

This is... is it assisting in sales? This is the report where

you will see that.

So the assisted conversion report under multichannel funnel

is one of the most powerful reports in Google Analytics,

definitely go check it out.

All right now it is your turn.

I would love to hear how you actually apply this to your own

business so be sure to leave a comment below.
