Youtube daily Dec 19 2018

Yesterday, lawyers for the Donald J. Trump foundation and New York Attorney General Barbara

Underwood signed documents that would officially dissolve erase from existence.

The Trump Foundation.

Now these documents to dissolve this corporation resulted from the lawsuit and ongoing investigations

into The Trump Foundation, which basically allege that the entire Trump family, Don Jr,

Eric and Ivanka, were using this charitable foundation as their own personal piggy bank.

They used it to pay off lawsuits.

They used it to make repairs down in Mara Lago and they used it to a Donald Trump's

presidential campaign.

Any one of those expenditures would have been illegal in a misuse of charitable funds, but

they did all of those and more, and that's actually what sparked this entire investigation.

Now the disillusion of the foundation still has to be approved by a judge.

A. Previously, the judge had denied the foundation's requests to go ahead and dissolve because

the investigation was still ongoing, but now the attorney general believes that they have

enough information, enough evidence to where the foundation could go ahead and dissolve

and it would not interfere with the ongoing a lawsuit with the current investigation.

With anything else happening, they have what they need basically, and that's the biggest

takeaway from this, not just that the foundation is dissolving.

It's that other point, and it's the other point that I don't see enough people talking

about right now.

They wouldn't let them dissolve because they didn't have enough info from them yet.

They didn't have all the guns, but now they're saying, you know what?

I think we're in a good place.

You can go ahead and dissolve like you claim you've wanted to.

Since 2016 when Trump was elected.

That's actually what their lawyer tried to say.

To downplay all this, to make it seem like, well, we've been trying to do this for two

years.

I'm finally good that you know, is off my shoulder.

No, they didn't want to dissolve it because they could have.

Because investigations had not necessarily begun in depth yet and at the time since they

hadn't been charged with anything, they 100 percent could have dissolved.

They chose not to and now they're gonna have to do it through the courts.

So by signing this paperwork by the New York AG's office agreeing to this, this means they

have a lot more information than most of us realize, and it also means that we're inching

one step closer to the conclusion of this particular lawsuit, not the investigation,

because as everybody remembers, Underwood had referred this for criminal investigation

and possible after that criminal prosecution, which given the facts of this case is very

likely to happen.

It would almost be impossible for any investigator, any prosecutor, look at this from a criminal

standpoint and not determined that the Trump family, every one of them involved committed

criminal activity.

I mean they use this, we, the documents are there, the signatures are on those documents.

They use this to pay off lawsuits, to pay settlements to fix up Mara A Lago.

And again, most importantly, you get the double whammy of criminal activity using these charitable

funds to boost Donald Trump's campaign.

The campaign work in coordination with the foundation to give large sums of money to

groups that Donald Trump was about to go and speak with a particularly.

One of the ones that we know about from emails late was a $100,000 donation to a veteran's

group right before Donald Trump was scheduled to go and speak to them in the 2016 campaign.

The criminal activity here is is blatant.

It is obvious and it shows that there is a pattern of behavior because this even began

long before he ran for president of Donald Trump committing criminal activity along with

his children.

That doesn't bode well for any of the other investigations either, and that's another

part that people aren't necessarily talking about.

How's that going to look when he has to defend himself against Muller and insists that I

knew nothing?

I am a good guy.

I don't ever break the law when we've got this group up in New York saying, Hey, look

at these documents.

You 100 percent broke the law here, so why would we think you're not doing it there?

Why would we think you're not doing it over here?

Why would we think it hasn't happened in the past as well.

This case is huge, and this document signing yesterday to dissolve The Trump Foundation

is, in my opinion, one of the biggest pillars to fall off of Donald Trump's higher than

thou platform in a very long time, and certainly it's not going to be the last.

Last 2018 Tour Vlog! Harry Potter Poetry & Travel Treats in Missouri and Kansas. - Duration: 6:20.

Lauren: So it's raining a little bit, but that's okay and we are going over to the

Springfield route 66 visitor center because we're nerds.

Steph (offscreen): And we have a coupon!

[upbeat acoustic music]

Travel Center Lady: Are you girls doing Rt 66 or what are you doing? Steph: We are musicians traveling.

Travel Center Lady: Oh, really? Steph: Yeah!

[upbeat acoustic music]

Olivia (performing poetry): Harry Potter taught me about friendship and the power that comes along with

surrounding yourself with the loyal, the brave, the smart, the wise, and the ones who muster

every ounce of strength they didn't really know they had to fight by your side.

[Acoustic guitar playing end of song, audience cheering

Lauren: So it's technically our last day, last full day of tour, which is really sad.

We have our last show tonight in Emporia Kansas and we stopped at a rest

stop. We're on our way! We've got a pretty

yummy lunch coming up today. Steph: Yeah, we're gonna have an awesome lunch. This has been a

good food tour! Olivia: Good food tour, lots of good food. Lauren: Yes, really good food..

Got some snacks, getting back in the car. Steph (like the viral video): Snacks.

Lauren: We just ate at this brewery, it was super good, now we're going over to the show.

Yeah we're all really full. Olivia: I want a snack though. [laughter]

Lauren: Not full enough, apparently! Olivia: I just wanted something sweet, I always want something sweet after I eat.

Lauren: Yeah, me too. Olivia: I can't help it.

[upbeat rock music]

Lauren: so we're performing across the street at this huge arena and I'm interested to

see how it's going to go, because we typically don't play in arenas. It could

be an adventure, they also won't let us in yet.

[upbeat rock music]

Olivia (performing poetry): I need to remember that the little girl who dances around her room dodging fire is the fire now.

Steph (singing): Questioning if you're good enough, let me hear you say Yes! All! Witches! [audience screeching YES! ALL! WITCHES!]

Lauren: [laughing] I'm so happy right now. Steph (singing): -oppression, Is gonna bring around a little bit of aggression

Steph and audience: YES! ALL! WITCHES!

[audience cheering]

Lauren: We did it! That was all the shows! We had a good time! Olivia: We did it! We had such a good time. Girls night out. Beef women.

Steph: And we played in an arena. Have you ever read poetry in an arena? Olivia: No! No I have not read

poems in an arena, I don't think. Now I have. Lauren: Now you have. Steph: Bucket list.

Lauren: all right. [car beeping]

Lauren: Oop Olivia: No! Steph: You're fine.

Lauren: There it goes. Good? Steph: Yeah! Lauren: Yay!

[upbeat rock music]

Olivia: the password was [laughing] - the password was beef women, Hermione cried! [more laughter]

This week we've been watching for a awesome project

We travelled to UK for that; check the video!

Almost there

We arrived

They have some nice material overhere

We always wanted such a thing

but by accident they have a nice occasion

Excellent, or not?

This is a T69 type 2

It came from Iraq

it fought in the Gulf war

In fact it's a Russian T55

But this one is built in China

it should be identical

The Russian T55 is most produced tank in the world

It's the AK47 amongst the tanks

It's based on a WW2 design

It's designed in 1944

It would be the T44

The was as good as over

and that tank wasn't perfect

They put it back to engineering

and then it became the T54

that was a success

it has been upgraded a bit and became T55

This one has been built in China

This one belonged to Saddam Hussein

it fought in the Gulf war

They must have seen they didn't had a chance

they abondened the vehicle

and it was captured by UK forces

they shipped it to UK

It was on display here

It has been sitting outside since 1991

As you can see that didn't do much good

This one is all gnawed!

Lucky enough we have a welder, so this is not an issue

That side is the front

that's we're the driver is

Turret

barrel is facing backward

Overhere's the sprocket

that's a giant gearwheel which drives the track

They removed the mudguard on this side

because it fell off out of misery

This is 'the beast of war'

I don't know if you have seen that movie

But if you like this

Then you should watch that movie

Nice special paint

See the tracks, this is a nice detail

These tracks are being hold together with pins

Overhere

Those connect the tracklinks

On this side the pin has a head

that prevents it from sliding out

on this side is no head

so it can slide out on the other side

and this is a excellent Russian solution

If you have to secure all those pins

it will cost you a lot of time to assemble

that's not handy

To prevent these pins from sliding out..

they've welded a cam overhere

it forces the pins back in

that's how they stay in place

That's a good solution

It makes noise when driving..

the pins hit that cam, you can hear that

But the entire machine will make some noise anyway

Here on the outside..

I don't know what it means

there are some signs.. might be just a number

17, only written a bit strange

Maybe it's something Iraqi

I don't know if an Iraqi viewer watching now, but he might know what it means

Let's see

There it is

V12, 40 litres

580hp

Diesel

It can be started electric and pneumatic

It has a startmotor, but you can start it with compressed air as well

Startermotor is secondary

Those caps are rusted through

The camshaft is visible

Camshaft itself isn't looking very bad

Not much rust, despite the caps are gone

That's a good thing

The rust you see overhere is the intake manifold

Or 'was' the intake manifold I'd say better

That isn't rusted away for nothing

That's because of all the water coming on top of it

and on this side..

You see intake ports

You see the valves overthere

water is standing on top of those

That's a good thing, that means they're closed

but on that side I don't see water

that means that cylinder is flooded with water

That's rusted and stuck

This engine won't turn now

You could call that a challenge at least

What do you think Dirk?

That's a nice challenge I think

I think too

The thing is; the engine itself

These are aluminium cylinder banks

Those have steel sleeves in them

If it's rusted and seized

You can force these sleeves out

That's possible

Or maybe hone them out

That's an option for sure

I think we need a good sponsor which can revise that

If there's anyone who can do this...

Then we keep our recommendation

It's looking really dramatically

But a gearbox like this won't be too bad on the inside

Unless they abandoned it because it broke down

that's also possible

indeed, they didn't abandoned it for nothing

See how heavy it is

It weighs 37 tons

See how thick it is

As thick as my hand.. that's the armour

It's a pile of rust..

But a bit of sandblasting will do a miracle

See, it has some battle scars

a bullet bounced off here

This one is used for real

This isn't made for fat people

We're inside the turret

This is the commander's seat

It's pretty cosy in here

and now I'm in here alone

But they used to be with 3 persons inside the turret

in the meantime I got grease on my pants

I rubbed against the gearing ring, that's overhere

We have to get back in the car, so that's not good

This is the drive for traversing the turret

You can see the position of the gun

This is for aiming

This is the backside of the gun

Too bad all the fuel tanks are rusted through

I've heard someone found gold bars in a simular vehicle

In the fuel tank

But we don't have that chance anymore

since these are gone..

those used to be on the outside

There's one at the front next to the driver

that's somewhere overthere

Maybe there are some goldbars, would be nice

I think we should start with cutting that tank

Original batteries

We should try to start it, maybe it works

This is where the ammo was stored

This is the drivers position at the front

We've seen this before

This is pretty simular to that T55 I drove once

Tachometer

Speedometer

I don't think it will reach 100

Maybe downhill, he has its weight as an advantage

Dashboard

Oh no! We're being shot at

But then.. most important

Final judgement

What do you think?

Yeah.. this is a serious project

Indeed

A lot of rust

a pile of rust

And the engine isn't too good either

that's a pile of rust as well

We have been discussing about that engine

there's water on the pistons

the cylinder sleeves are rusted

We don't know if there's water in the crankcase too

We're not too worried about the crankshaft

The crankshaft is inside the bearings

some oil will stay in between

We think we can save that

in worst case we can grind it

and fit new bearings

The cylinders are the biggest issue

I think we can fix this engine

I think that too

I think we should talk to Matt about the price

it's a project only getting this thing to the Netherlands

Only the transport cost pretty much already

But then you have something!

You have a serious battle tank

which fought an actual war

That's what I wanted to say

Some small issues..

That..

you can't have it in the Netherlands just like this

also not when it's demilitarized

You'll need special papers and permits

So we can disassemble that big boy

In the meantime we can settle that paperwork

and settle this..

and build it together in the end, that's the idea of course

That's awesome

This is also a part of it

It says this tank has been captured during the Gulf war

This tank used to be a monument

and we're going to see if we can get it driving again

It's a driving monument then!

Always better

Let's speak to Matt, he's the owner of this excellent vehicle

Matt is a real enthusiast

This is his machine

a Chieftain

It has a special engine

12 piston 6 cylinder engine

that means;

There are two pistons in each cylinder

and it has crankshafts on both sides

it's a 2 stroke diesel

He's looking for a target

This one is more comfortable

See what a space

This is where the commander was

I'm in the gunner's seat right now

What a machine..

This one has also soft seats

That's nice indeed, we need that in that T55 as well

He's going to start it

Like a new one

He's done a lot work to it

Yeah, indeed. You can tell, it's looking awesome

So when we got it, it had no engine

the gearbox wasn't connected right

everything was broken, it was full of water

it was treated really badly

Matt did some amazing work to it

Totally rebuild it from scratch

Really a good job

He told us, this one was the same shape as the T55 almost

Not as much rust, on the outside it was very clean and painted

but on the inside it was just trash

just an empty shell

Pretty much yeah

Matt's never been in the army

He's not a tank driver, not a tank commander

He's done all of this himself

Me neither

So that's more impressive

Me was a tank commander for 15 years

Really?

Yeah, I was in the army for 21 years

So you have been in the Gulf war?

Yeah, I was in the Gulf war, I was in Iraq, Afganhistan

So you brought the T55 then?

My last unit destroyed it I think

Something is coming to life overthere

After some tough negotiations we could make a deal

Allright, we make a deal then

allright buddy

Can't wait to see it going

Ha, great!

We have to mark it now

it suits her

Can't wait to have it in the workshop

To celebrate this, we drove around with another vehicle

Let's go for a round!

Can I jump on?

It will take some time before we have that tank overhere

We have to arrange transportation

we have to settle some documents

but it's coming

So I would say; keep watching this channel

the video's will come soon

Thanks for watching, seeya next time!

Data Science Dojo: Six Months Later - Jacky Sawyer - Duration: 2:40.

Since finishing up the bootcamp, I really dove headfirst into all the data

that Breaking Ground has. I feel like during the boot camp I got a better

vision of how we wanted to use the information that we collect and also

thinking about other information that we hope to collect so really my biggest

accomplishment has been creating a very detailed inventory of all the data that

we have and using all that information to develop a strategy about how we want

to store our information, how we want information to flow from department to

department, with an ultimate goal of developing a more robust data analytics strategy.

The main strategy that we're working on implementing right now is

building our ETL process to feed into a data warehouse for ultimate data

organization and storage. Whether you use a data warehouse model or some other

kind of large data storage I think it's really good to have a sense of getting

all of your information consolidated and in one place so that you can ask all of

these questions of your data. I think I left the bootcamp with so many questions

in my mind and so many ideas of how I was gonna be using this information only

to come back to work and to feel limited by some of the very common barriers to

accessing information. Some of those include not being able to

link similar information from one program database to another, so if you're

getting data from a third party or from a city data set how do you create those

connections between the information? I think one unique challenge that Breaking

Ground faces is that we're capturing information about people. You know, people

don't fit cleanly into numbers and I think we would really be doing a

disservice if we kind of reduced people to statistics about them.

It's kind of a unique challenge but I see it more as an opportunity and I think it just comes

with a healthy respect for how you use that information for good.

Data Science Dojo has been really kind of echoed these best

practices and how to think about information and how to really

use it to do the work that you know you can do. I've been able to bring some of

the excitement back to my team and to, I think, think a little bigger about the

possibilities of using our data.

I'm Jackie Sawyer I'm the director of data services are Breaking Ground and

I'm a Data Science Dojo fellow.

I SPENT $376,113.70 ON FACEBOOK ADS In 2018. Here's What I Learned. - Duration: 15:10.

What's up you guys Jason Wardrop here

And in this video I want to share with you what I learned from spending over

300 thousand dollars on Facebook Ads so you can see right here. This is my main accounts

We spent about three hundred seventy six thousand dollars. And for those you guys have been following the channel the last couple of months

I've actually spent a

Lot less than I was earlier on the year because I had my ACL surgery then I had a kid

so the spending was a lot lower than what normally was because in the early part of the year, I was spending probably about

50,000 per month and so, you know, you take that over 12 months that's gonna be about

600,000 but then around August I really started to slow down

I was only probably spending 10 to 20 thousand dollars per month

so in this video

I want to share with you guys some different things that I've learned

so that it could possibly help you guys with your Facebook ads moving forward and

Also let you know if it was even actually worth it spending all that money now before we dive into things

I've got my free facebook ads cheat sheet right here

We've got several pages diving into all the things Facebook gas manager the Facebook ad campaigns

Facebook got set up cuz some audiences look like audiences all the different parts about Facebook Ads

So I've got a link to that free cheat sheet and I've got a mini course as well on Facebook ads

So you'll be able to go through watch those videos have this cheat sheet

So that free link is at the pin comment as well as in the description

So you guys can jump in and download that really quick

So the first thing that I want to share with you guys after spending over

300,000 nearly four hundred thousand dollars on Facebook ads in 2018 and the year is not even over quite yet is that you always

Need to be testing and always need to be learned. So although I've got a YouTube channel

I've got a lot of videos on Facebook ads and I consider myself pretty good at advertising on Facebook

I still go through and I picked my friends brains that also

Advertise on Facebook and kind of see their different strategies their different angles see what they're doing

Then I even have some friends where you know

They kind of do like the consulting for Facebook ads and so I'll go through it

I'll pay them 500 to a thousand dollars just to spend an hour with them on the phone

to see some of the different strategies and ideas that they're doing to maybe go through and have different ideas to implement into

My business so I got a good friend that funny store actually grew up with him

We lived on the same exact street growing up and he is a big-time

Facebook advertiser and then just randomly like 10 15 years later were both big into Facebook ads so he has gone through and done

advertising for big-time

companies like

Golden State Warriors and a lot of other big-name brands that you guys have definitely heard of and so I from time to time I'll

Just go pay him and just spend an hour on the phone with him showing my stuff see

You know what he's doing and so I could just collaborate and just learn and get new ideas from other people

That are also performing at a very high level with Facebook Ads kind of part

One of this is always be learning but also always be testing and with your test comes a lot of learned knowledge

So one thing you'll see is that Facebook is always changing things

They're always making improvements updates and sometimes they think there are improvements, but they're not fully improvements quite yet

They don't work super well

And so you just got to kind of test them and see if they actually work like the new campaign budget

optimization where

Instead of sitting the daily budget at the ad set level of saying I'm gonna spend hey 50 bucks per day on this ad set

50 bucks per day on this ad set maybe a hundred dollars on this ad set you can say hey

I'm just gonna spend a thousand dollars on this whole campaign and then Facebook is actually gonna optimize that campaign and spend that

Advertising budget where they feel it's gonna perform best for your advertising campaign

So I'm actually kind of in the middle of still testing that so I don't have any like clear-cut results on that for you guys

but another thing that I've been testing lately that has actually been working very well is

If you guys have been following my channel

I always say when you're going through and hitting the placements just do the mobile and desktop newsfeed

The thing with that is because there's so many more Facebook advertisers coming on board and it's just supply and demand

It's really a bidding system

So whoever is willing to pay more for that ad space and there's only so many ad slots. Then that person's gonna win out

So now I've been testing with going with Facebook's

Recommended all placements we're gonna see that on Instagram on Facebook on their audience network on

Every platform that Facebook has control over

and what's happened is our cost per leads have dropped dramatically the

CPM or cost per thousand impressions is dropped dramatically

and so I've been testing that and I've got

on-and-off testing that

multiple times throughout the year and it hasn't been until late that actually feel that that is worth it to go through and hit all

placements for my advertising, okay

So step one is basically always be learning always be testing step number two if you're going through it

You're gonna have an advertising budget

Like let's say you have a little bit smaller

Advertising budget of let's say a thousand dollars for the month for ten thousand dollars for a month or whatever. It might be

You want to focus literally 85 and 90 percent of that advertising budget on one

Campaign on one core funnel. You don't want to be spread super thin

Because at that then you don't really have enough money to go see if a funnel is really working for you

So if you think back to like kind of the russell brunson traditional like sales funnels, there's all different types of funds

There's webinar funnels. There's tripwire funnels. There's book funnels. There's all these different things

Whereas like if you're focusing on multiple different sales funnels

Then you really don't have enough advertising

Budget to test them and fully optimize them and get them working the way they really should be working now

I know if you guys are like me a typical entrepreneur

we like to go through and we get ideas like ideas all the time and I was like throw out the wall see if they

Stick but really that detracts from our success and it makes us lose focus

So there we're not actually achieving as much as we really can

so then what we do with the other 10 to 15 percent of the advertising budget is we can use that to

Retarget people to either come back to an existing funnel or maybe promote some other offers that you might have

So for example like me, I've got a core webinar

It's a thousand dollar webinar product that I go through and I Drive 85 to 90 percent of my traffic

To that webinar then the other ten to fifteen percent of my advertising budget

I am spending that on

retarding to the people that already visited my site or already attended to get them to either go back to that webinar or

I've got a free 7-day trial for our software

where I'm also

targeting them to go back to that direction as well because the whole goal of the webinar is to get people signed up on our

software

So then kind of like that next step below that is getting people on a free 7 day trial to jump in to our software

And then I have a clear focus. Everything is going towards that webinar. I know where everyone's going

I kind of know the exact same experience

Everyone's having so then when I'm falling up via email

I'm not completely scattered and I don't know what people have seen what they haven't seen and

It just makes everything a lot more organized

Okay

So we talked about always be testing always be learning

Number two having a majority of your advertising budget go to one core sales funnel the book

I love is called the one thing by Gary Keller and he talks about focusing on just one thing and he the kind of the

core concept is what is the one thing that's gonna make everything else easier or

Irrelevant, right? So obviously if I'm going through and I'm getting sales on my webinar and then number 30

Is that tracking a really keeping track of your numbers?

Brings peace of mind and brings a whole lot of clarity so around July of this year

I really started tracking my numbers day by day and

It's crazy the amount of clarity and amount of focus that it's brought to me and my business and even the peace of mind of

Just knowing where I was at with my business if I was making money losing money or what's going on

So right here guys, I'm gonna show you guys. This is my tracking sheet

so every single day you can see October November December January February

So I have every single day and even I started kind of doing it in August

and I went back and I went started from the very beginning of the year to

Track all my numbers for the month of how many leads I was generating. What was the cost per lead?

How many people were actually attending the webinar?

What was the cost to get somebody to attend the webinar?

How many people actually stayed to see the pitch at the end of the webinar?

And then how many sales was I making making every single day and then tracking revenue versus cash now?

This is a big thing that a lot of marketers don't really track they go through and they throw out these big revenue numbers

But it's not accounting for ad spend. It's not accounting for expenses with their company

It's not accounting for refunds or chargebacks or anything like that

And so you've got to account for not only the revenue but the cash is actually collected because on our webinar

We have a multiple payment plan. So if somebody goes and they want to do a three payment plan of 367

That's what ours is and they only make the first payment or they make the first a second but the third

that is very different as opposed to just tracking revenue and saying oh

Well this person signed up on a three payment plan and because of that I'm gonna be making $1,100

but you only

collected three hundred and sixty-seven that day and so by tracking this you can kind of see over the course of the month I was

positive on cash collected pause about 1600 but on revenue after the next two to three months, I'll be pause about

$23,000 if all the payments come in, which typically they don't all come in, but that's the thing

You just gotta track both of those

It's gonna bring a lot of clarity a lot of peace of mind to your business and step number four

It kind of goes along the lines with all of this stuff is this keeping the long term in mind and that's kind of going

through and with the tracking of the revenue over the next three months with this, you know, you're making

$22,000

But if you're just so focused on the short-term, then that doesn't really make sense to you

so you got to think if you are willing to spend five dollars to generate a lead and maybe that same month you only make

Five dollars back where you make three dollars back. So in month one, you're actually losing a little bit of money

Well, what about after three months and after six months and after twelve months?

What is the lifetime value of that lead typically if you're tracking this and you know your numbers and you know?

How much you are making off of every single lead, you know? Hey, look I'm spending five dollars this month

I'm only making three dollars back house. I'm actually losing two dollars every single time

I buy a five dollar lead

but after six months that five dollar leads actually

Brings me in twenty four dollars of revenue so you can see how if you play the long-term game if you're a little bit more

Patient you're not just so focused on the here and now that you're actually able to make a lot more money

so for example

I have the webinar where you have the full pay of 997 or three payments of

367 now the last couple of months because the holidays because I had a little baby boy

I had my knee surgery all that stuff. I haven't been spending as much money on advertising

So starting January

I'm gonna start ramping up my

advertising a lot more but if you think about it if I have the payment plan option which by the way a

Majority of people take that payment plan option because it's a little bit lower ticket

They can kind of test it out. See if it's gonna be working. That's just kind of the human nature, right?

but that month one if I'm gonna be spending let's say

$2,000 a day I spend sixty thousand dollars over the course of the month, right?

well

If most people are taking that three payment option which eighty to eighty-five percent actually take that

Then that month I might be breaking even or even potentially losing money, but then month two

So in February if I spend that same amount of money

I'm getting all the payments from February of all the new signups

plus I'm getting the second payments from

January and then March that's when the money really starts to pull in because I'm gonna be still spending money on advertising

I'm gonna get the new signup payments. I'm gonna get the second payments from February and I'll get the third payments from January

So then from there things just start to snowball

So if I was just looking at January alone, I'd look at my numbers and be like man

I'm really not making that much money. I should probably kill my ads

Whereas that's the worst thing I could possibly do because then I would just have to start it all back up again

The next month and I just be starting over from Ground Zero time and time and time again

Whereas if I give it 90 to 120 days, it gives my advertising

It gives my sales a chance to

Snowball to actually see that money really start to roll in and really start to see that profit

So new guys, those are four of the big things that I learned this year from spammers four hundred thousand dollars on Facebook ads

So number one always be testing always it'll be learning always be investing into your mind

It's a mentorship. I've spent well over

$100,000 on mentors alone just to go through and learn different strategies learn new techniques and

That's really what's gotten me to the point where I've gotten today. And then number two is focusing on the one thing

Okay

Having that focus having all your advertising budget or majority of it going to one core funnel and if that funnel is not working

Tweak it until it works work on the sales message work on everything until it actually works

don't go jump from one funnel to the next one is the next funnel because you're not giving enough time or

Advertising dollars to actually make it work

then number three is get very detailed with your tracking really have that clarity and

It's gonna bring a massive peace of mind so that you know, okay. Well if I spend

$60,000 in January, but I only make fifty five thousand dollars back out

Well in February in March

I'm gonna really start the snowball and the money's really gonna start to pour in that number for just with like kind of tracking is

Just keeping the long-term in mind

Okay, if you're going through and spending money and this goes especially for the real estate clients that I work with

Just think about it if you're going through and you're gonna spend five hundred dollars a month or five hundred dollars this month on

advertising

Then maybe you only have one deal go through

Or maybe you have one deal go through but it's not till next month

You got to just keep that long-term in mind where you're generating leads right now

And then if you stick with it

Then it's gonna really start the snowball the lead generation is gonna start a snowball and then months three four five

That's where you really start to see the profit come in

So anyway guys, I hope this video was helpful as far as some things that I learned after spending over three hundred thousand dollars on

Facebook Ads in 2018. And with that said guys I'm gonna keep on testing

I'm gonna keep learning and I'll keep sharing you with you guys the things that are working the things that are not working to help

You out with your business. And once again, if you guys want that hundred percent free facebook ass cheat sheet

Plus that mini course where I dive into the Facebook pixel custom audience custom conversions

Everything Facebook Ads then click on the link down in the description

Or in the top comment and you guys will be able to download that get that a hundred percent for free

So anyway guys you guys found this video helpful. Go ahead

Give it a thumbs up hit that like button down there

And also if you guys are brand new here, make sure you guys subscribe and hit that notification barrel

So you guys can be notified every single time I launch new video

Anyways, thanks so much guys for watching and I will see you in the next video

Please Stop Showing Up At YouTubers' Houses! - Duration: 10:12.

YouTubers have been shot and killed at their own concerts and robbed,

and people still don't understand why this is a bad thing to do?

(MARKER SCRATCHING)

(ELECTRONIC VIDEO GAME CHIME)

Hello and welcome back to the channel and Vlogmas.

Today, I want to talk about something that might be a little touchy,

it is a little bit touchy, but is extremely important to tell you.

We have to talk about this.

Please stop going to YouTubers' houses.

I have been wanting to talk about this

outside of, like, Twitter and Facebook and wherever else for quite some time

but I just never did a video of it 'cause I guess I was a little bit scared to, but...

I can't be quiet about this any longer, I really cannot.

So, this is actually inspired by a tweet

that James Charles made this morning and this tweet says:

"Please stop showing up at my house.

"I will not hug you,

"I will not take a photo with you,

"and I absolutely will not sign your palette.

"It is extremely disrespectful and makes me feel

"very unsafe in my own home.

"Respect people's privacy,

"it's really not that hard."

And you know what?

This is not the first person to make a tweet or a video about this kind of thing.

If I recall correctly, about a couple of months ago,

maybe it was a year ago, I'm not sure of the exact timeline,

Julian, who is Jenna Marbles' boyfriend, they live together

and they're some of the biggest, if not the biggest,

besides PewDiePie and, you know, other YouTubers out there,

and there was a video made, you know, really not that long ago

about how someone's mom was driving around

and then she came to...she came to their house, knocked on their door, I think.

I don't know about the specifics, but the mom wanted, you know...

She was like, "My son wants to meet you," or whatever,

and it's like, how did you find my house and why are you here?

Why did you drive all the way over here?

Zoella and Alfie had people come to their houses

and, you know, their mansion was displayed out on tabloids

for everybody in the United Kingdom

and, well, the internet to see, because of course it's going to be posted on the internet.

It's Zoella.

And all I can think about is why do some of these people think that this is OK?

Why do viewers...?

Some of you who might think this is OK might be watching this.

So, if you are, why do you think that this is OK?

I don't understand this.

We would not be OK...

We are not OK when people break into other's homes,

you know, and knock on a door and whatever.

It's scary, so why is it suddenly different when it's YouTubers?

I say this because there's a tweet that I saw

and I'm not even gonna post this one on here but I am gonna read it.

And this was actually in response to James and she says

"Your frustration is completely understandable but don't forget who got you to where you are.

"It's those same people who will keep you going or ruin you.

"You have them to thank for where you're living and what you're driving.

"It comes with the territory, kid."

What in the (BLEEP) are you on?

Let me just say this because I feel like maybe people just aren't aware and that's fine,

you don't have to be aware of everything that happens,

but Christina Grimmie was shot and killed at her own concert by a very obsessed fan.

Gavin and Meg, I believe those are their names, were robbed

and Gavin was supposed to die, according to the guy that broke into their house.

A guy wanted to kill Gavin because he was jealous.

Dr Disrespect, he's a Twitch streamer,

he's not on YouTube, but, still, somebody shot at his windows two days in a row, I think.

He was in the middle of streaming when this happened,

so thousands of people saw and heard what he was going through

because there were gunshots while he was trying to game

and he had to get up and go outside and find out what the heck was going on and then

he had to come back to the stream and turn it off and say, "Well, there's gunshots.

"People are shooting at my house and I have a wife and a kid."

And, of course, YouTubers are getting harassed

at Playlist and VidCon and things like that, just going out and about,

doing whatever it is that they want to do,

and people do not have a right to trespass onto other people's property

and expect a YouTuber or whoever else to be happy about it.

Like, there are people that will go to the extreme of trying to Google

and really investigate where somebody lives so they can drive hours to go to their house.

In fact, I'm pretty sure there is a video somewhere on YouTube

of somebody that went and found somebody's house,

another big YouTuber's house, and trespassed

and they filmed it and put it on YouTube, and I can't remember who talked about it.

It was a drama channel, maybe it was iDubbbz.

I don't even remember...

Honestly, I don't remember who talked about that,

but, just, why would you think that that is OK?

It scares the absolute (BLEEP) out of people.

It's completely dangerous.

One, you never know what the person who is going to answer the door's going to do.

Not only are you risking the YouTuber's safety but you're risking your own safety.

Again, may I add that YouTubers have gotten killed because of actions like this,

because of the obsession, of the feeling of entitlement,

of thinking that, with these viewers thinking, "Oh, well, because they display their lives

"out on YouTube, that means it's OK because I feel like I have a connection with them.

"I feel like I'm friends with them."

You're not, you're not friends with them,

and you're not entitled to go into their houses and expecting a happy response

because you weren't invited and they don't know you.

YouTubers have a right to privacy, especially in their own home, and you are breaking that.

You're not being a loving fan, you're being creepy and it's bad.

Honestly, I wouldn't feel bad if James had opened the door and, like,

yelled in whoever's face because, honestly, I would give James props for that,

I would give any other YouTuber props for that, because that's just scary.

Other things that have worried me is that occasionally, you know,

I've been noticed out in public and people will see me,

they don't say hi to me or anything, which, by the way, if you ever see me in public,

you're allowed to say hi, except, you know, people might see a YouTuber out and about

at, like, the late hours of the morning and, let's be honest, it's dark, it's creepy

and sometimes you're in an area where it's empty,

and, if you have somebody come up to you at that kind of hour with nobody around,

especially if it's, like, outside in a parking lot, it gets to be a little bit creepy.

And sometimes people will be like,

"Hey, I saw you at so and so, or this such place in this small area at this time.

"Was that you?"

They'll say that out into the public for everybody to see

and there's something about that that makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Like, it's one thing if they were to message and say that type of thing,

but it's just really uncomfortable when somebody does that,

like, just for everyone to see,

because, a lot of the times, let's be honest, unless you live in, like, Los Angeles

or New York where it's pretty broad, a lot of YouTubers live in smaller areas,

smaller YouTubers living in smaller areas,

but they'll say that they live in such-and-such area because it's bigger

and it just makes more sense, and there's a little bit of privacy.

But, if you see that YouTuber out and about somewhere at, like, 3am, don't say anything.

Leave it in a Facebook message or a Twitter message, you know,

but please don't say that type of thing out in the public because it's just...

It's not nearly as bad as going to their houses

and knocking on the door and expecting somebody to sign something or say hello

and be extremely happy to see you, no, but it can make somebody a little bit uncomfortable.

Listen, I understand when you get so excited about knowing where somebody lives.

Yes, that might be exciting but it's just too damn creepy.

Don't act on it.

Actually, in fact, if you were trying to actually go out of your way

to investigate where this person is living, that's just wrong.

Don't get excited about that.

That's not something that you should be proud of.

But, if they happen to make it public information, for whatever reason, Jake Paul...

Like, I get the excitement or whatever, little teenage me would get the excitement,

but that still doesn't mean that you have the right to act on it.

It's invasive, it's trespassing.

Don't do it.

I'm really hoping that these people are, like, 16 and younger.

I mean, even at 15, I feel like I would know that it's not a good thing to do,

but I feel like it's possible that some of these people are also adults and that is really scary.

I mean, the person who murdered Christina,

the person who broke into Gavin's home, they were adults.

That is wrong and creepy and it's just mind-boggling to me, but I...

I just don't understand.

I wish people would try to make us understand

but I don't think you're gonna have any answer that justifies those type of actions.

Parents, please come collect your kids

and teach them some manners because this is not good.

Do not enable your kids to be like that, and, kids, just don't do it.

That's all I want to say on the matter.

Be safe.

Make smart choices.

If you see YouTubers out and about,

usually it's OK to say hi to them, just don't go to their houses.

As always, I very much appreciate you watching,

but, before you go, if you haven't, consider being a pledge on Patreon.

It's a great way to support your favourite creators' content.

From me, you get things like music playlists, written pieces you won't see anywhere else

and Pen Pal letters and things if you pledge high enough.

And I will see you later. Bye.

RevelatorAlf Online Tour 2019 - Duration: 10:50.

RevelatorAlf. Hello welcome to RevelatorAlf from revelatoralf.com So I thought I'd

just give you an update of what's going on with the channel and the website for

2019 So here I'm on the YouTube web page, the home page and you can see right here

from 2019 for the first of January I'll have regular uploads three times a week

Monday Wednesday and Friday at 6 p.m. UK time. That may increase depending on the

workload and extra videos will come up on the Tuesday and Thursday, or the

Saturday and Sunday as well but right now I'm just going to launch it 2019

with three a week on YouTube. The playlists are still pretty much going to

be the same as the top row you're going to be the latest uploads I'm gonna have

biker top tips here to come up into view here gonna have like the latest videos

I'm gonna reword create a new playlist for that but latest videos type thing

I'm gonna have instead of a Bikers Travelog it's gonna be more like just

a moto vlog playlist and coming over how-to videos gonna have an adventure

riding trails playlist as well and I'm also gonna have the biking issues as

well so they're gonna be lots of playlists to choose from the new

playlists and also be the older playlists to still look at as well so

there we go RevelatorAlf on youtube.com/RevelatorAlf

So if I look here as well this is the website

I'll come back to that in a moment I'm also on patreon as well and so I've

launched that so hopefully get some patrons to help support the channel as

well now there will be exclusive content on the patreon in 2019 and then also be

digital media available from the website to buy, buy and download but that

will also be made freely available or mostly made freely available to all

patrons as well. So check out for regular updates

then just go to patreon.com/RevelatorAlf later out for that. On

Amazon have also got a review items page so basically going to be reviewing some

items the next year or year what the next year if you want to if you want me to

review a particular items and you know you can either send it to me or just

send me the details or a link from Amazon then I'll add it to the list and

then you can just come on to the list and just buy if you want and send it

through to me whether you're a company whether you're individual as well you

all the contacts we made through the website now if all the the links for the

this review items list is on each video description as well on YouTube so just

go and check on the description you'll see the Amazon review review list page

or link okay so this is getting on to the social media side now so Revelator

Alf on twitter it's actually under my name at the moment @alfgasparro but I might

change it to @revelatoralf if you go on through facebook the RevelatorAlf

page is also under my name as well RevelatorAlf out there as well it's on

reddit VK all the videos are shared their Instagram Instagram it's got lots

of the thumbnails of upcoming videos and some stuff that I do every now and again

you know on a bike or off the bike whatever tumblr yeah a lot all the

videos and news is shared on there as well on Google Plus as well there's its

own RevelatorAlf page and there's also my

own profile page shares all the videos as well there

I'm not sure what's going to happen with Google+ in the future but I think it's

shutting down isn't it at some point but anyway right there it's all there now go

to LinkedIn yeah I'm on that as well RevelatorAlf

now I'm also creating it all started a new channel on a platform called Coco

scope as some as you might heard me watching now a lot of it is the same

videos from YouTube however if you subscribe and then you can need to tip

the channel but also you can adopt the channel which is really important if you

adopt the channel and there will be exclusive videos only for this coco

scope I'm not that I put them anywhere else just for cocoscope there are

particular videos for there so you have to either go to the exclusive page here

like that and you'll see all the exclusives and you can watch it now I think

you can either pay for individual videos but if you adopt the channel and pay like

a monthly subscription then you can actually watch these videos there. Right

so let's get back over here and this is to the website which I really wanted to

talk about so the website here RevelatorAlf you can see the banner there the 3

3 uploads per week 6:00 p.m. and the front page is the blog page daily blogs

coming out and you know it's just all the videos are shared on here as well

that's the the livestream I did the last night so on the contact page you look at

the contact page here at the top you've got the link to go to patreon/revelatoralf

If you want to become a patron you

can contact me below on the form down there and if you'd like to be added to

the RevelatorAlf email distribution list you can click here that I take you

through up to a a MailChimp signup page and then you'll be added to the email

distribution list so you're basically getting a monthly newsletter saying

what's been happening in the last month what the latest video is what's upcoming

what projects are in the pipeline that kind of thing

so you'll be like I get the insider's track there if you sign up to email

distribution list all right that's the there so going to the about page the

about page is really about me and about the channel about RevelatorAlf project and

some other projects that I've been involved with over the past. Books and

media ok so this couple links to a couple books so I've written Troubles

of a Searching Spirit

a surge in spirits extended life in New York as well

if you buy those through Amazon the links

all on the page as well you'll also get this completed works collected works of

DURO RIDER Gazette of the full 15 issues of the motorcycle magazine which edit

there will be more digital downloads ebooks whatever available on this page in

2019 either directly through the website or through Amazon and they'll all appear

here so check that on a regular basis now the resources page this is what I've

been really working on the last couple of months or suppose lots of videos

which I will be making and have made already will can contain in the

descriptions downloads - free pdf information sheets or mini booklets if

you like those are also available here on this resources page you click the

link you go through the email distribution sign up list and then the

PDF is emailed automatically

automatically direct to your inbox so then you can say that or distribute it

as you wish and there be a lot more emails lots are a lot more PDF downloads

information sheets coming out shortly and they're all free just you know just

sign up to the email distribution list and they'll be sent to you right okay so

that's that now the last thing is the events page I actually go to the events

page here and basically for 2019 every month I'll be making a video of what the

upcoming motorcycle events will be for the following month now right now I've

just made a January 2019 video there's a PDF download here it's a it's a direct

link to a PDF download so there's no sign up anywhere just click on it

download it and away you go it's also on 4 February now these we can

and maybe updated only stage I'll see the video has already been done so that

won't be redone for January now if you look here a little bit further down

you'll also see there's a calendar RevelatorAlf motorcycle events so if

you go to click forward to January 2019 you can see that it's already been

populated look at February it's already been populated as well so you just click

on whichever one you're interested in and away you go now

obviously I don't know of all the motorcycle events in the world I've only

covered the ones for the UK in the United States right now so the idea is

if you know the motorcycle event just contact me or by the contacts page here

and send me the details of the motorcycle event and I'll add it to the

PDFs here and I also added to the calendar so this is this page is gonna

be a free resource for anybody who just wants to you know find out what's going

on in your area it doesn't just have to be for UK United States it can be for I

don't South Africa Australia Canada wherever all any country in the world

you know European countries whatever it is if you've got motorcycle event you

want to publicize it you know here's an opportunity to do it so that's basically

the website I want to keep it really simple really basic not too busy you

know I just want there have the consistency of the branding everybody

knows what the website is about and then obviously all the YouTube is about all

the you see all the all the different sites all have the same kind of branding

on it as well so there you go right. I won't go

through every single one but there you go so that's what's happening right now

and that's what's going to be coming up in 2019 just thought I'd quickly show

you and I'll show what's going on a bit of a tour if you will of the Revelator

Alf online scene right okay catch you on the next video whenever that is

cheers now

Block of the Month Assembly 2018 - Duration: 11:35.

quite lovelies and welcome back to the Darvanalee Designs Studio for those that

don't know my name's Nicole Reed and welcome to my channel if you're new here

hit that subscribe button so and the little bell icon beside it and that way

you won't miss out on any future post so what is this video about this video is

about the final assembly of our block of a month series for those that have only

just joined us I will link up the playlist down below so you can find all

twelve blocks there as well as this assembly video so I have been playing

around with the layout for the block of the month and I have come up with two

layouts I have chosen to do layout two but instead of working in the diagonal I

am going to show you in this video how I add triangles to each of the block on

the corners turn them on point and then put them into the quilt and at the end

of the video so if you hang out to the end you will see a full view of the

quilt hanging on my longer machine and I'm getting ready to quilt it I'm going

to quilt it over the Christmas break why I don't have any other customers quilt

in the machine and once I'm finished I will put it up over on our blog and also

in our Facebook group but I'm not gonna do a video on it because I'm still not

sure how I'm gonna quilt it so let's get started alright so we're at the Assembly

of the quilt now and what I'm going to do with mine is I'm going to actually

turn all my blocks on the point so I need to have some squares cut and then

subsequently I will cross cut them and so I end up with some triangles and

you'll need four triangles for each block and so I'm going to show you how I

actually do this it's a quick and easy way to do it there's no math involved

and basically it's the most easiest way that you can do it so as I said I am

actually going to turn my quilts on our quilt blocks onto point and I will be

following a layout that I put together in eq8

and I have uploaded that to our Facebook and I'll also have it over on our blog

as well all righty so you're gonna need a few things you're

going to need a rotary cutter you're going to need some pins you're going to

need a square quilt ruler and also a long quote ruler I generally use a six

and a half inch by 24 inch and I it's too big to fit on camera but you'll need

one of those as well okay and you'll need some pins and some matching thread

and we're just about ready to get started on putting our blocks on point

so basically what you need to do is have your squares now work out what size your

squares are going to be mine end up having to be nine and a half and I cut

them a little bit bigger so I can trim them down a bit later so when I measured

it it actually the the square iron II had to cut was a nine and a quarter but

I've added an extra quarter on to give me that little bit of leeway because we

are working with triangles and as you know sometimes they can distort so

basically what I did was cut out my squares and then I crosscut them so

basically what I'm going to do is show you the no math way of doing it this is

a quick and easy way to do it and it won't take you any time at all to put

your quilt together okay so what you do is you take your block and you take your

quilt ruler and on one edge you put your ruler on point like this so you can see

there then it's got a little triangle coming off it and basically what you do

and hopefully I can get this on camera close enough for you just turn that

around Betances it easier to see all I do is I

basically just start aligning pushing the ruler up to line up so you can see

there that the corner of my quilt block okay ends up being and I'm using the

line on my mat there to fight it like to keep my ruler straight so you can see

there that those points are ending up on my nine inch mark on the ruler because

it starts from one here and goes down to that way and the same again on this side

so I've got my cool block lined up underneath and I've just pushed my ruler

up to show me where the point is on the quilt block and they're both

sitting on that nine inch mark okay so but now I've got to add in my quarter of

an inch and this makes it super easy because it's all on the whole number so

I know that I've got to have nine and a quarter that's what my Square should be

but because I'm going to be working with triangles and the nature of triangles is

sometimes they shift or distort I'm going to cover my bases and I'm going to

add an extra quarter of an inch so I'm going to cut my blocks at nine and a

half inch and you can do this for any size square or quilt block to turn it on

point so say you were just making this here this section here you would measure

this part and then you will tell you how big the square you needed to cut for

that one so this one for our outside to turn it into a square as I said we just

find the center and we keep our strong ruler straight we find our points and

voila we know that we've got to cut a nine and a quarter but because I like to

play it safe I'm cutting it in an extra quarter of an inch so nine and a half so

go ahead and measure all your blocks and then cut out the the size strips that

you need and then cross cut them into squares and then we'll be ready to go so

I've done that off-camera so you can see here these are my squares so what I'm

going to do now is I'm actually going to turn them on point so I've got my longer

ruler here so I'm going to turn them on point and then I'm going to put my ruler

corner to corner and I'm just going to cross cut that and that gives me my

triangles so I'm ready to go and I'll just grab my quilt block so now I need

to find the center of my block so what do I do with that is I just fold it in

half and just finger press that to make a little crease so now I know that

that's the center of my block and when I was prepping some of my triangles

off-camera you can see there that I under crease into it to find the center

of that so now I know that all I have to do is line up those two crease marks and

you can see here my triangle is hanging off the edge of

the block and that's perfect that's exactly what you want it to do because

this will allow for when you add the other triangles on this will give you

your seam allowance so I pop a pin into the center lining up my raw edges making

sure that everything's looking straight and I've got some fabric hanging off the

edge and because I'm working with larger triangles - I tend to pin a lot more

probably some would say a little bit of it excessively but this will just stop

them from moving or warping on me and I always put one down here near the end

okay so that's ready to go and all I'm going to do is sew a quarter inch

celular along here and I'm going to repeat that on the opposite side so they

saved me some time again I find the center of my block and I always do them

opposite okay so we'll pop those pins in there and now we can head over to the

sewing machine and we can sew our quarter inch seam allowance on those two

sides so it's just straight down where you've just pinned okay so you can see

there I've put them on and basically I've pressed my seams open so I'm right

to add my next angle on so again I just find the center of my square or my block

give it a crease I do the same thing with my triangle

and then I line them up and again you can see that that is overhanging again

and this is going to give us our seam allowance and if you haven't worked with

triangles before and you feel more comfortable cutting your blocks a little

bit bigger go for it because we can just trim down that excess a little bit later

on once the block is all sewn together and I repeat on the other side again

same thing just fold it in half grab our triangle

fold it in half as well align our crease marks

make sure all your raw edges are aligning and then we're going to sew a

quarter inch seam again and then our block will be finished okay so I've got

all the blocks all set on point so I've added all my triangles onto them and

everything like that so now what I'm going to do is assemble them so I've got

a layout here but it's got triangles put into here to make it go like that we

don't have to do that because we've put everything on point we and turned them

into squares so now what I'm going to do is just sew those squares together

whether it be in this layout or I put it some other way if you like you can move

the blocks around and see what looks right once it's together but you can see

here that that's what it's going to look like so we don't have to cut these

squares either that we've got in here because that's what these triangles will

end up making like a an hourglass block in the center there so you won't have to

worry about that this was just to give me an idea and also you an idea of how

it was going to go together so I'm going to head off and sew all

that together so that's it for the 2018 block of the month series so I have

really do hope that you've enjoyed it and learned something along the way keep

an eye out in the next couple of weeks because we're starting 2019 s block of

London during Christmas is magical and there is nothing better than doing your Christmas

shopping in the capital city to ring in the season. Our number one area for

Christmas shopping is Oxford Street and Regent Street. During the winter months

these streets are lit up with a spectacular Christmas lights, making

for the perfect Christmas experience with hundreds of stores to shop.

To complete that festive feeling make sure to check out Selfridges on Oxford Street

with their famous Christmas window displays, toy department and a whisper

into Santa's ear. Another must is my favorite clothing store, Primark. With two

locations on Oxford Street, they are probably the busiest stores in all of the

United Kingdom and no other store can beat them on prices. So, make sure to

check out at Primark. Regent Street is also excellent to gift shop, with two big

holiday favorite destinations, Hamleys Toy Store and the Liberty London which

is the last wooden structure left standing, from the Great Fire of 1666.

Second is Covent Garden with its cobbled charm and Christmas baubles surrounding the

19th century Piazza. Covent Garden pulls out all the stops at

Christmas time. The main square is adorned with one of London's biggest

Christmas trees and sparkling decorations, while street performers brave the cold to

keep you Christmas shoppers entertained. In terms of shops, there are plenty of big designer brands. If you're looking

for children's presents, Covent Garden is loaded with

toy shops, including the Disney Store and Benjamin Pollock's Toy Shop.

Third, head to Knightsbridge as the city turns from day to night to see the famous department

store, Harrods, as it is spectacularly illuminated with over 11,000 light bulbs. Don't miss the store's giant Christmas shop, with luxury

decorations, fancy Christmas crackers and the ever so popular, Santa's grotto.

Also, make sure to journey downstairs to the enormous food hall with its amazing

variety of foods. You'll discover the delights of Christmas puddings

mince pies, decadent chocolates to wonderful pastries, cakes, fancy teas, as well as

their fresh meats and deli counters. And if that isn't enough, another posh

department store, Harvey Nichols is just a few steps away.

Fourth and adjacent to Regent Street is Carnaby Street. Carnaby is one of London's trendiest shopping

destinations. You'll have fun shopping the walking streets among the

avant garde Christmas lights, with its many independent fashion boutiques,

and their cutting-edge brands and tasty restaurants.

Number 5: Christmas shopping in London isn't complete without paying a visit to Mayfair and St James's on Bond Street with

their high-end luxury goods. With big names like Burberry, Louis Vuitton and

Tiffany & Co, you will surely be able to find presents fit for royalty.

Sixth on the list are Westfield shopping centers. If you like to do all of your Christmas

shopping in one go, then either of the two London Westfield shopping centers are for you.

With more than 500 shops between them, Westfield Shepherd's Bush and Westfield

Stratford have every angle covered and usually stay open later with extended hours for Christmas.

Number 7 is Chelsea. Join the posh

Chelsea crowd, shopping in stores along King's Road. You'll find an eclectic mix

of trendy boutiques, unique labels, designer shops and high-street staples

with a vast array of cafes and restaurants. So, enjoy your Christmas

shopping in Sloane Square, as well as, the neighboring Duke of York Square which is

decked out with festive Christmas lights and located just off of King's Road.

Number 8 is Portobello Road. No London shopping is complete without visiting this famous

part of London. Shop the area for unique and vintage gifts among the many antique

shops and street market stalls. Sometimes, it's not just the gift, but the story

that goes with it. Besides, who wouldn't want something from Portobello Road.

Last and number 9 are London's many Christmas markets. If you are looking for something

a little more unique, they have everything from handmade jewelry to

beautiful arts and crafts. A couple of favorites markets are Winter Wonderland

in Hyde Park and Wintertime at Southbank Centre on the Queen's Walk. These festive

markets are a great way to get into the spirit of the holidays and for more
