Youtube daily Dec 19 2018

hello everybody and welcome back to our Channel today we are yeah yeah yeah... hmm that threw me right off

we thought we would sit down with you guys in our tiny house on wheels and

walk you through a gift guide for the particular folk that we are particular

or particular folks that you are yes it is the holiday so of course this is

coming to you for those last-minute Christmas shoppers which I've always

been one of them we still have quite a bit to do but honestly it can be used

year round if you're looking for a birthday gift for someone or a thank-you

gift for a minimalist you know housewarming that possible is our unless

you can you can just gift if it's a Monday if you want let's jump into it

and start with our first category which is intangible items in Tasha better

intolerable items intangible means to not touch the first one I've actually

never personally used because we are members at a specific gym but think

about class paths for someone in your life who might be transient like

ourselves on the road living van life this is how we shower this is how we

stay fit and class Pass gives you the opportunity to go to any gym anywhere

that signed up so you could be in tirana one day and then drive down to Chicago

and go to a fitness class and a yoga studio and a shower and everything in a

new city over yeah I think it's a pretty good idea to the second one is honorable

membership so you guys have heard us talk about audible before it's a great

service for downloading books and listening on the go whether you have

that commuter in your life or someone again that's living on the road we find

ourselves listening to so many books and podcasts while we're on the road so we

will leave a link to all this below you were gonna say whether you're a commuter

or just dyslexic Gaiman audible is a great solution I think you can read just

fine thanks buddy welcome you want to do speaking of books yeah

well it's hard to do it now we have a book everybody in case you didn't know I

just want to quickly say thank you to everyone who's downloaded I know a lot

of you have and I'm sorry if this is gonna sound like a plug but we do want

to mention our ebook come on yeah just buy our books basically we're so proud

of it it's 52 plant-based recipes quick easy delicious and it's awesome you can

put it right on your phone you can quickly scroll between pages if you want

to look up a recipe or a sauce and also makes a great gift we actually included

a gift option so when you go to checkout you can select gift and choose the date

which you want to give it to them so you know Christmas morning they can wake up

to something delicious and tasty in their inbox yeah definitely great plug

thank you okay enough of that the next thing is experiences so my sister a

couple of Christmases ago gifted me a candle and inside the candle was this

little IOU a day at the spa and ever since then we've been going to the spa

as a Christmas gift to each other from each other so you get the gift she gets

the gift and honestly in this day and age when we're all so busy and even when

we're together you're often on your phone checking email or whatever it

might be this day at the spa with her is my most favorite day of the year or one

of my most favorite days every day that's probably why it's my favorite day

anyway good yes another idea is one year I know we

gifted your sister course to photography lessons or pottery lessons or just

something that helps you learn but have an experience together one of my

girlfriends went to like a succulent class the other night wait honestly

there are so many different classes available you could do a woodworking

course a mechanic's course which I would personally love I've clearly but yeah

that's another great way to like not buy a consumer packaged good along all of

those notes along all those notes I grew up in the theater with dance and

everything so growing up my big gift from my parents was always either a

concert ticket or I took it to the theater

the Broadway I keep saying theater I'm from the theater dolly

when I just loved going to plays growing up and going to concert it's live music

yeah or even just the movie theater right it doesn't need to be enough pizza

yeah because movies are expensive nowadays and it's such a full popcorn

it's a it's a nice outing you know you don't really talk them different kind of

friend you might gift that one too that's you know that awkward uncle my

let's go see a play I think that a man and I try to do instead of gifting is

we'll go away together or book a weekend getaway group your siblings and gift

your parents a weekend away like last year we did for your family we all went

to Prince Edward County and it yeah which wasn't like it's like we got on a

plane and it was a huge vacation it was you know just an air B&B a few hours

away and you know we bought our own groceries and cook their own meals but

it's still an experience and you're kind of out of the city so that was it was

actually really fun it was Oh buddy we didn't even talk

about gas or grocery cars well obviously that fits really well if there is a van

lifer in mind yes gasps gasps gasping figured out electric

vehicles yet so gas gets expensive and yeah it would be a nice treat to be able

to fill up your tank on someone else and then as well as wellthey alone a grocery

gift card oh yeah I find in my opinion is great for something like whole food

so a man and I premium grocery store exactly we never find yourself shopping

at Whole Foods just because it's so expensive but they do bring in exciting

plant-based products that we'd love to try so getting a gift card and you're on

the road and you're in a new city and you can pop in Trader Joe's oh but yeah

like like you're saying like to be able to get like the new cheese of the new

product or the new you know it's just a luxury really veggie burger or even a

lunch on them yeah you know totally skin care skin care products can be an

awesome gift for people it's consumable so it'll be used up one of my favorites

right now is Provence apothecaries clay mask so you can get them a mask do a

face mask together maybe bond over you know thanks masking together steam

facial steam fade my personal favorite kind of segues from skin care so I'll

take the lead on this one but it would be essential oils for someone like me

who mixes and matches them for everything in the house from cleaning

products to diffusing overnight to making a little roller blend that I can

roll on my feet for bad dreams I love essential oils and again it's

consumable I use them up and then every season I kind of need a new set so

definitely essential oils are on my list one stocking stuffer I would highly

recommend is the peppermint halo from sage which is a roll-on I roll it on the

back of my neck it helps like relieve some stress when I'm dealing with a man

for too many hours of the day and also under consumables we included snack box

but this kind of could branch out to any subscription model everyone's probably

heard of all these different subscriptions for socks or for bowties

or whatever they have nowadays but I thought snack box was a great option

there's a company called vegan cuts they deliver vegan snacks which is super cool

also because there's a lot of these snacks that you can't necessarily get in

Canada that you're getting access to and it gets delivered to your place every

month it's kind of the gift that keeps on giving that does lead into the basic

section and you've already covered socks subscription but that is what we did one

year and absolutely loved it so again basics like socks never go out of style

we are always running out of socks and while it would be difficult to gift us a

sock subscription because we're not always home or in one place it's an

awesome option for people that you want to give to um I wanted to add something

in great we don't have a written down the list oh but I love that I might go

under basics but I'm not sure okay um tools I get really excited about tools

because I like building stuff and there's always a new tool you can buy so

just maybe that might be helpful for someone watching you know if your dad's

into building stuff or if he needs a new drill or sand or

or if there's a van like we're about to take on the biggest project of their

life yeah get them a tool good call the Milwaukee not sponsored water bottles

this is another basic that I just feel like you always need to I feel like

they're very great business to get into because everyone loses their water well

reusable loser bottle well here's the thing about a reusable water bottle if I

get a good quality one I really care about it deeply you try your best

yeah you'll still lose it and one of those things you put down in all these

weird places yeah you know but also you go try out a gym one place the classpath

screws you over yeah yeah so they're making their money no but um I feel like

after a certain amount of time you should switch out the water well no

matter how good quality don't you think barely like so much gross stuff lives

inside your water bottle oh yeah I scrub the lid every every well every while not

every week yeah and also reusable coffee cups I love my

keep cup so Cho keep keep cup keep the energy up keep a little bit of a higher

ticket item but we put blender on this list because honestly if your plant bass

or vegetarian or even just love cooking in general a blender is kind of like a

staple tool and getting a good quality blender is such an amazing gift we got

for our an engagement present as a gift from a bunch of people yeah and it's our

absolutely like favorite device we couldn't live without it it's awesome

towels and bed linens they're also they sound a little bit boring but for people

like us who there's no well fact that no but honestly if I open up the great pair

of new bed sheets actually wow that's I think tying you might not but when you

crawl into bed that night you'll be like that Margaret she was she was pretty

sneaky super Margaery hundred thread doesn't need to be crazy but honestly

just again one of those things that you could upgrade don't eat the old ones or

get rid of them in with the new and get on white get them white white cheese

when we use the backpack no matter how cheap the place was if it didn't have

white cheese Eamonn wasn't saying that so don't buy it

colorful actually right now we have some Hatem yeah okay the last category to

wrap up this gift guide for you is DIY so you put your skills or your fun craft

loving selves to the test and DIY some gifts our first recommendation would

actually be from our cookbook we have these soups in a jars or Brix book buy

that book soups in a jar this is actually great I was really yeah and you

layer up all the ingredients and it's all dry ingredients and you just need to

combine it with water put it on the stove and it's such a great gift so you

can literally go to bulk barn and buy a bunch of all these ingredients that are

in the book and you can make 10 super neat jars you can go ahead and get that

to your mailman or all those people you know around the office and really really

really I think that that's a great gift you know for it really really really I

do feel it's a really really really good gift buddy and then the last one I can't

take the credit for I have to throw it over to you babe what could they do well

this is just like to get inspired and you know take things apart and turn into

art so basically what I've done guys I had an old camera I picked up had like a

flea market for 10 bucks and I have taken it fully apart so every single

bulb is mixed in here and then I went to an art store and bought this shadow box

it's got a glass front nice piece it was like 40 bucks and then this is the

background so what I'm gonna do is place this in some fashion I'm gonna make it

look like it's all taken apart we're calling it his deconstruction art face

he's deconstructing lots of things these days but yeah you're not like reusable

sustainable way to like get rid of old electronics for example like a camera

and you're not limited just the cameras you you know let your imagination run

any what about your electronic phone the t9 that might be awesome yeah you know

know someone that leads to love blackberry you can write a blackberry

and put it in a nice case go to Michael's buy a it's called a shot of

shadow box I feel like we gave you many gift ideas what do you feel for

free no problem free anytime guys we hope you guys enjoyed this video if you

did please make sure you L&C make sure you Ellen see that's what the kids are

saying these days doesn't just talking about the other day apparently a comment

I like subscribe and comment yeah please subscribe if there's one thing you're

gonna do over this Christmas holiday season he's great at gmail and subscribe

to our channel also if we missed something that you recommend for

minimalists or van lifers or the people in your life leave it in the comments

below because maybe you can help us do some last-minute shopping because we're

a bit afraid that our siblings and family are watching this video and they

know what we've gifted though mm-hmm okay happy holidays everybody

wishing you a very Merry Christmas and we will see you with a holiday meal on

Friday all right okay thanks for subscribing

-Story 9- Country in Irregular - Decisions in the Dungeon-

That didn´t do it! Get back!

Shizu, leave this to me...!

Damn it! He blocked that, too?

Both of you, jump back on the count of three!

What?

Let´s just try it, Welf! At this rate, we´re only wearing ourselves down.

One... Two...

Three!

What? He moves like a master...

Let´s run before it gets back up! Hurry!

But...!

Our priority now is to get back alive! You promised the pipsqueak, right?

Promise to come back...

Okay. I promise. My top priority will be my safety, and I´ll come back soon, safe and sound.

Kay.

Shizu, hurry!

R-Right!

Well done, brother! I haven´t had this much fun in a long time!

You´re getting a lot better at driving me, too.

You´re a good teacher. And the monsters around here don´t stand a chance of catching us. It´s fantastic.

The look of the dungeon changed again, huh?

The dungeon changes on every floor. There might be amazing sights or great mysteries hidden here!

Wow. I don´t know if the world´s beautifull, but it sure is big.

That´s not what you should say, is it? "I don´t know if the world´s beautifull... but sure is fun"

Yup, that sounds like something a god would say.

Hey now, I´m Hermes! Of course that´s what I´d say!

Of course, huh? So, where is that thing?

Oh, right. It should be right here...

Here we go. I think this´ll work... If it doesn´t, nothing in Orario will.

Is this the "exploding oil" you were talking about?

Yeah. If you light it, it starts buning and explodes. It´s pretty close to the "fuel" you were talking about, I think.

I see. I´m impressed you knew about this place.

One of my children uses explosives, and she always has a hard time getting the materials for them.

We found this when we were looking for some alternatives… But in the end, it was little too flammable.

Until we can find a way to process the stuff, it´s not useful to us, so we just left it sitting here.

This is a huge help. It´s not like we can buy motorrad fuel here.

I bet not. So, can you use it?

Yeah, I think so. Can you take my cap off?

Sure thing.

Is Ais back?

Don´t worry. She took out all the monsters on the way down instantly, Yeah? She´s incredibly strong.

Yeah, you´re right...

Oh, you´re...

Waht are you doing here? Did you need something from the Guild?

Oh, no, I´m just waiting for a friend...

A friend? If you´re at Babel, are they an adventurer?

(Yes, a very strong one.) (Yeah, my friend´s bit of a ditz, you see...)

Yes, a very strong one.

What a coincidence. Someone I know is down in the Dungeon too right now.

Is that so?

Yes. Just the Upper Floors, though. They should be fine.

My friend is somewhere around there, too. I think they´re on Floor 10 or so.

Yeah?

Uh. She´s very kind, so Maybe she´s even working together with the person you know.

Hhaha, that sound like too much of a coincidence to me. Well, let´s just hope our Friends both come back.

Yeah, you´re right.

Another one down in a single hit... Wow! Kino, is that magic...? Or are those magic items?

Magic item? This is Canon and these are Woodsman shells.

Are those their names? They´re so cool!

Is that so...?

Yes. I´ve never seen magic items like hose before! They bust be something that only you have!

Really...?

Oh, this is the place my Goddess was talking about.

Yup, these are Herme´s tire tracks.

They lead up ahead. Let´s go.

Yeah.

Bell

Kino, get back! The monster´s an irregular!

An irregular?

What´s a Monster like that doing on the Upper Floors...?

It´s hurt.

That Monster is injured. Probably from a previous battle.

Y-You´re right... I see blood everywhere

Together, we should be able to defeat it. Ready?

Yeah!

Corporate Controlled Corruption Has Taken Over MSNBC With Advertisers - Duration: 13:26.

The Bayer healthcare companies announced that they're going to stop selling their controversial

birth control, called essure and company says it's because it wasn't selling well, which

is likely because it was destroying the lives of women all over the country.

That's really why they're doing this.

Uh, this is, this is a simple story to understand, okay, this company Bayer has made this product.

They know it's a birth control its totally an unnecessary birth control.

They're more birth controls out there that whatever the problem is that a woman is having

with a particular kind of birth control, there are other alternatives out there for them.

Essure was one of these look alike kind of deals.

Other people are doing something similar.

We want to try this ourselves.

Now what they're finding is the essure that is embedded in the body is breaking off in

the body, migrating throughout the body and causing real serious injuries to people.

That's why they're pulling the product from the market.

As you know, I handled the um, uh, years ago, handled a case against Bayer for another birth

control pill.

And uh, and, and you know, the problem with, with it sometimes is they're always looking

for that cash cow.

They're always looking.

This is called, Yaz, it was a pill called Yaz.

This is not a pill.

This is a, it's implanted in the body this essure, but they are always looking to get

on the very edge of the new cash cow.

That's what happened here.

Isn't a Farron?

It absolutely is.

And now they're saying, well, this cash cow stopped giving us milk.

Don't.

It has nothing to do with these 16,000 law suits we' re facing over this product in the

US alone.

No, no, no, because it wasn't selling well, and there's a reason.

It's because as you just pointed out, it's destroying the lives of women.

Like so many other products that we see and essure is a permanent form of birth control.

It's this implantable device and just like every other implantable, a small metallic

device we see in bodies, it breaks apart.

Ivc Ivc filters.

Great examples, same kind of deal, breaks apart, moves to system, move systemically

through the body lodges in Organ Systems, including the brain.

By the way, the heart, this is the same problem here with essure.

They knew they, they've known, they've known the science of implant fracture for ages.

They know the science on it, they know it's bad.

They know there's never been a good experience with this.

And, and due to the location of the device in the fallopian tubes, most of the injuries

that they're seeing involved, you know, there's a lot of kidney damage, a lot of abdominal

pain, uh, because usually when it breaks off, it'll kind of embed almost immediately wherever

it can get to.

Sometimes it will migrate, it will go to the brain, it will go to the heart.

If you're lucky enough, it's not going to go there and immediately kill you.

Instead, it'll ruin a kidney.

It will ruin, you know, a bowel and bladder.

Anything it can latch itself onto and Bayer knew it.

Actually pierce the bowel.

That's one of the bigger problems.

Uh, you know, let me, let me tell you quick story.

I think this, I think this is pretty instructional about Bayer is company generally.

I've been tow to tow with Bayer on several occasions.

That's the same culture.

It is a culture of we want to follow the cash cow.

We're gonna make as much money as we can.

We're going to leave.

Uh, it's, it's what I call quick profits, horrible risks, quick profits for the company,

horrible, horrible risks for the, for the consumer.

And so, uh, this, this was in the Yaz case, this woman that was testifying on Bayer, everything

was North and she was like the number three kind of PR person for the Bayer.

Her, her job was to go across the country telling, uh, telling the story about how noble

Bayer was talking about the actual character of Bayer, which in a civil suit, it's, it's

important to know character of either party is never an issue.

You don't allow character into a discussion if somebody robbed a bank years before, uh,

yeah, maybe that comes in, but general character doesn't come in.

Okay.

So she testifies Farron, and I think you've seen this.

I actually put it in one of the books.

The first book I wrote called Law And Disorder.

It was a book about the Yaz case and several of the cases of fiction.

It's a fiction book, but this is a true, true part of it where I have her on cross examination.

I said, Mrs North.

Now you've been testifying here about what a wonderful corporation.

This is their honesty.

You testified about their integrity, you testified how they just do things right, and they always

have the consumer in mind and they would be basically our bottom line and we would never

do anything wrong.

We would never hire people who do things wrong.

That's the.

That's the catch.

So I said, well, Mrs North, have you seen this picture?

And I put a picture up of a fella named Fritz Tamir, and she says, I've never seen that

picture.

Well, the picture was Fritz Tamir, who was CEO of Bayer at the time and it actually became

continued to be CEO, CEO of Bayer.

After this incident, Fritz Tamir was a war criminal in Auschwitz.

He helped design the gas that killed hundreds of thousands of Jews in Auschwitz.

And I said, well, nobody ever told you talking about the integrity of this company.

Nobody ever told you about Fritz Tamir.

No, I didn't know about Fritz Tamir.

Well, she didn't know that I had another document.

And the other document was a document that showed that every year Bayer continues to

have a celebration for Fritz Tamir literally a celebration, a grave site celebration, where

they give a scholarship away to the leading scientists of a university or student in the

university.

And she had been there.

So first of all, she's lying about Fritz Tamir.

The real story about Fritz Tamir is that Bayer was so up to their eyeballs in the Nazi movement

in the Second World War, they actually designed gas to kill people.

And those same people who did that went to work for Bayer after the war.

So I was.

It was a startling moment.

It was.

It was a kind of moment where you go, oh, well it was so startling that when it came

up right before trial, they settled the case for all of the Yaz cases throughout the country.

So this will be another opportunity to tell that story in the essure case.

Well, you know, I think there's also another part to that story though, because if I remember

correctly, and I could be wrong, so feel free to correct me, but wasn't this Yaz because.

Yeah, I was here with you.

Wasn't that the story that when it first came out was pitched to the New York Times and

the New York Times after kicking it around for a few months old.

We've got this reporter, they're working on this great, great, great story.

This is going to be huge.

We're going to blow it out of the water.

Publication Day came and they said we can't, we don't want to ruffle any feathers.

So it was, it's worse than that.

It was actually, I was actually working as a contributor for Msnbc and uh, not, you know,

not regular, but I was a contributor.

I would appear, you know, once every couple of weeks until I went to work on, you know,

with Ed Schultz when he had his show, I would be there sometimes two or three times a week,

but I remember pitching this story and the producers couldn't do the story because the

advertisers wouldn't let them.

Now I want to pick up from there.

You, uh, are always have, have always been as long as I've known you a critic of corporate

media, just like I am, I think, honestly Farron if I've ever been influenced by anybody on

corporate media, it would be the influence that you showed as far as your, your attitude

about corporate media.

That's the, the, that's part of the Bayer story and I'm glad you raised it, but that

story continues today.

I saw, I saw a segment that you did where you were talking about the, t he on live talent.

Couldn't tell a story because advertisers wouldn't let them on MSNBC pickup from that.

I don't want to speak your words, but tell me.

Right.

It was an absolutely insane thing that happened.

Uh, Chris Hayes from MSNBC tweeted out because somebody asked him whether or not talking

about climate change on the air, and he said, well, you know, without fail, every time we

do this, it is a quote ratings killer.

Now, later on in a tweet, he also said, you know, the audience demand for it just isn't

there.

And I think that might've been a way to kind of walk that comment back a bit and try to

pin it on the audience.

But what Chris Hayes was really saying, and this is not an attack on him at all, he was

honest.

It was the, the advertisers don't want it.

If we lose audience, we lose money.

You know, the people up at the top floor making the decisions.

They won't let us cover real issues.

And he did later on in this tweet thread mentioned, there is a vast array.

There's a little phrase he used, vast array of topics that we don't cover.

Well they don't cover them because advertisers don't like it.

But it was just shocking.

And the immediate response I had was I, I hope you have another job lined up because

you just did what Phil Donahue did.

You did what Ed Schultz did you did with Cenk Ugur did at Msnbc.

You spoke the truth, and nothing makes corporate media madder, madder than exposing what they

do, which is not cover important stories.

They always want, they, they, they always want to give you this impression that they're

in this etheorial world where they make these decisions based on what's right and what's

a, what's a good story and what's not firsthand knowledge.

You may recall the time you also want Msnbc story where I appeared on Msnbc and I told

the story about a wood company that was called Arsenic Wood and the wood was actually used.

They would treat it with arsenic.

They would use it in water primarily because it wouldn't rot.

So I appeared on Msnbc and told the story about how they were using that wood for children's

playground equipment.

And the problem is children were getting exposure to ungodly amounts of arsenic.

So I go on, I tell this story.

I have all the documents, you know, it's very clear that everything I'm saying is absolutely

correct, which proved to be correct in the end anyway, but uh, so, so I give this call,

you got to come back on Msnbc and you'd have to apologize for doing that story.

And I said, no, I'm not going to apologize for doing the story and I'll gladly move on,

but I'm not going to do the story.

This was coming from Phil Griffin, by the way, the guy that is in charge of msnbc that's

been there so long that we have lost so many great stories because of people like Andy

Lack, who runs NBC is nothing but a corporate troll and, and Phil Griffin who is nothing

but a corporate troll.

When an advertiser tells them they can't do the story, they don't do the story.

People ask me, you, you appear with me on RT America, Russian television.

Oh my God.

You know, Putin TV is what they like to call it.

It's the only place I've ever worked in media where I've actually been able to tell the

story without anybody saying, no, you can't do that because advertisers are going to get

mad.

I've did it there.

I did it on free speech TV.

I was able to tell the story and free speech TV.

These are places you've appeared to and we're.

We're able to do it on ring of fire, but the the, the landing on this is this.

Corporate media is killing news.

Corporate media is all about ratings.

I just saw an article, Farron worth 30, 33 percent of the American public have cut the

cord on cable on, on, on Cable News, on cable channel, and maybe that's a sign that things

are turning to the better.

What is your thought?

I, I hope do.

It doesn't matter which corporate network it is.

CNN is all about war.

MSNBC is all about Democrats.

As long as the Democrats take money from corporations and Fox News is a hundred percent crazy.

So.

So you have those three choices to choose from in cable.

Corporate News, all equally terrible in their own right.

But the thing to me is so many on the democratic side, say Msnbc is our best hope.

MSNBC is the best thing.

Well, you got a host right there who again, I don't think I. I think they're going to

be very mad that he said that because he exposed what they do.

They hide the important stories because they can't tell them because the advertisers, the

viewers, it's not there.

It's gotten so crazy.

A Rachel Maddow and I used to work together on a Air America radio many, many years ago.

She, I mean honestly regarded her as the smartest person I ever worked with.

A rhodes scholar.

Just a brilliant, brilliant woman and honest to God last week she is.

If I thought I was watching Alex Jones says that Putin and Trump is really a plant by

Putin, that Putin actually got Trump planted as president.

You may disagree with Trump, I think the guys nuts, but to go that far and make a crazy

statement like that shows you how far MSNBC has fallen in the tank because of people like

Phil Griffin and Andy Lack.

MARY POPPINS RETURNS vs Mary Poppins (1964) - Duration: 10:03.

Fifty-four years after Disney brought Mary Poppins to life on the big screen, the magical

British nanny is back!

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, I'm Jan and in this video I'm comparing Mary Poppins Returns

to the 1964 classic, revealing the biggest differences and whether it's a worthy sequel.

When Julie Andrews made her film debut as Mary Poppins over half a century ago, she

lit up the screen with her take on author PL Travers' no-nonsense nanny.

I'm sure it must be daunting for any actor to step into Andrews' practically perfect

shoes, but if anyone's the right person to slip on Mary Poppins' very particular footwear,

then it's Emily Blunt, who's repeatedly shown what an incredibly versatile and meticulous

actress she is.

This latest version of Mary Poppins isn't exactly the same as the original movie and

it's certainly not an impersonation of Julie Andrews either.

Blunt took her Poppins cues from the character PL Travers created in her books, which means

she's somewhat sterner, sharper, and ruder than in the first film.

And then, there's Mary's new accent, which I wasn't sure about when I heard it in the

trailer.

But, pish-posh to that, quite frankly, as when I saw the film, I've gotta say the accent

wasn't an issue for me.

Yes, Blunt has gone many times posher than her own Received Pronunciation, or Julie Andrews'

for that matter, but her performance sold her clipped, heightened tones, inspired by

British royalty, and made it work in the 1930s context of the film.

As for the song-and-dance numbers, Blunt looks like she's having a total blast which makes

watching her a real joy.

So, while she takes her Mary in a different direction to Andrews, each actress is beguiling

in the role in her own way.

And just seeing Mary Poppins come floating down through the skies once more may well

bring a tear to your eye.

In the original Mary Poppins, Dick Van Dyke was such an absolute ball of energy as the

all-singing, all-dancing chimney sweep, street-artist, and one-man-band Bert that he practically

burst off the screen.

Though a new addition to the story, Lin-Manuel Miranda's character Jack the lamplighter is

given a brief backstory woven in with the original characters as it turns out that he

used to be Bert's apprentice.

Van Dyke's larger-than-life performance as Bert is so memorable that it's a really tough

act to follow, but Miranda is an accomplished musical performer and plays Jack with a good

deal of charm.

In fact, Jack not only inherits Bert's child-like wonder and optimism, but also his interesting

take on a Cockney accent!

"As I live and breathe!"

Miranda's attempt is a touch better than Van Dyke's though he's helped by the fact that,

unlike the 1964 film, the sequel opens with Jack singing rather than speaking, so the

faulty accent doesn't hit you quite as immediately.

"Comical poems suitable for the occasion, extemporised and thought up before your very

eyes."

Speaking of Dick Van Dyke, he makes a very welcome return in the sequel!

This time, we're told that jack-of-all-trades Bert is off travelling in 'parts unknown'.

So, instead, Van Dyke makes a cameo as Mr Dawes Jr, who also appeared in the first film,

though played by a different actor.

In fact, Mr Dawes Jr is the son of former Bank Chairman Mr Dawes Sr, who was the second

character Van Dyke played in the original film!

And, let me tell you, it really is amazing to see the 90-something-year-old actor singing

and dancing with incredible gusto once more and, amazingly, he looks pretty much just

like he did when he appeared as Mr Dawes Sr in full old-man make-up back in the 1960s!

With the sequel taking place around 25 years after the original movie, the Banks children,

Michael and Jane, are now the adults of the story.

These days, Jane follows the activist path of her mother, and Michael works for Fidelity

Fiduciary Bank, just like his father did before him.

Also, much like his dad, Michael's problems and preoccupation with work mean he's lost

his child-like joy, and both films are about getting that back and appreciating your family.

While Michael does lose his temper with his children, similar to his father, overall,

he's less stern and markedly gentler with his kids, and also much less prim and proper

than his dad.

Ben Whishaw brings a lovely, delicate touch to the role of the grieving Michael and his

performance of the melancholy song, 'A Conversation', proves a real tearjerker.

And Emily Mortimer is delightful as Jane, mixing can-do spirit with moments of shy sweetness.

So many of the songs composed by the Sherman Brothers for the 1964 movie became well-loved

classics still remembered fondly by children and adults today.

Whether it's the Oscar-winning Chim Chim Cher-ee, A Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,

Jolly Holiday, Let's Go Fly A Kite, or Feed the Birds, if you're watching this video then

you likely know at least the tune if not a good number or even all the lyrics of those

songs.

Obviously, following the Sherman Brothers is a tall order then.

Still, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who composed the musical Hairspray, have done

a top-notch job capturing the tone of the original movie and recreating the kind of

tunes that reflect the style and era.

It's tough to say if the songs are as iconic as the originals, given how many times we've

heard those in comparison, but many of them are definitely very catchy and others certainly

grow on you.

My favourite song among the new batch is 'A Cover Is Not The Book', which is a dazzling,

humorously innuendo-laden vaudeville number brought to rollicking life with spirited performances

by Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

As well as the fast-paced fun of 'Trip A Little Light Fantastic', 'Can You Imagine That?',

and 'The Royal Doulton Music Hall', we also get the delightfully lilting '(Underneath

The) Lovely London Sky' and the heartfelt lullaby, 'The Place Where Lost Things Go'.

And although the new cast don't perform any of the songs from the original movie, you

will hear traces of their melodies carefully woven into the score at several suitable points

throughout the film.

Mary Poppins Returns is a real love letter to the 1964 movie made with obvious affection

by all involved.

In fact, it reminds me in some ways of Star Wars: The Force Awakens which likewise re-kick-started

a popular property after a long absence.

But, is it as original as the classic movie?

Well, no, in many ways it can't be because it takes us back to a place we already know

and reminds us of that throughout with numerous echoes of the original film in story beats,

characters, visuals, and songs.

But director Rob Marshall and screenwriter David Magee's nostalgia-filled film does manage

to put enough of its own twist on things and finds added inspiration in PL Travers' various

Mary Poppins books.

Of course, there are so many wonderful moments of magic in the 1960s movie, from Mary and

the children tidying the nursery, to Uncle Albert's airborne tea party, to the Step In

Time roof-top dance sequence, and, of course, who can forget the artful mix of live-action

and animation where Mary, Bert, and the children jump inside a chalk drawing of the typical

English countryside?!

Mary Poppins Returns also has some appealing magic scenes, including the children's bath

time which turns into an underwater fantasy and the sequel's take on the Step In Time

scene is a fun reverse of the original where the children go down in the world via a London

lamp-post rather than up on the rooftops.

Best of all though is the gorgeous Royal Doulton china bowl sequence which features a raucous

music hall and mixes live-action and hand-drawn animation.

And I also really love the genius touch of having the characters' clothes appear hand-painted!

In fact, Oscar-winning costume designer Sandy Powell's work throughout this movie is simply

stunning.

While the sequel does gift us special appearances from Dick Van Dyke and Karen Dotrice, who

played Jane Banks in 1964, sadly, the original Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews, doesn't appear

because, according to the movie's director, she didn't want to distract from the sequel

being "Emily's show".

However, we do get a charming cameo from another screen legend, Angela Lansbury, who makes

an appearance as the Balloon Lady, a character from PL Travers' books.

Lansbury even gets to sing a song in her inimitable style, and her presence in the film feels

practically perfect especially given her musical history with Disney, starring in their live-action

film Bedknobs And Broomsticks and the animated Beauty And The Beast where she voiced Mrs

Potts and memorably sang the title song.

Another new addition to the sequel is Meryl Streep's character, Topsy, who, like Lansbury's

Balloon Lady, is adapted from PL Travers' books.

This is Streep's third film with Emily Blunt, following The Devil Wears Prada and Into The

Woods, and she's clearly having a ball totally hamming it up with a deliberately OTT accent

as Mary's eccentric cousin.

Streep's appearance in the movie includes a deliciously jazzy showstopper called Turning

Turtle, and the whole scene feels like a fun call-back with a twist to the first film's

laugh-filled, floating scene with Uncle Albert.

By the way, I've got a video about all the sequel's easter eggs which I'll link to here

and in the video description.

At times, Mary Poppins Returns is a little more melancholy than the original; after all,

Michael has lost his wife and the children their mother, and they're about to be evicted

from their home.

In that respect, it's similar to another recent musical sequel, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again,

which, coincidentally, also starred three of this film's cast.

Nevertheless, there's still plenty of uplifting, cheery fun as well as hope and happiness to

be had with Emily Blunt's Mary.

Sure, bringing the magical British nanny back on screen after over 50 years' absence is

no easy task as generation after generation has grown up with Julie Andrews' classic performance

and watching that movie feels like getting a big old hug.

But, if you let yourself experience the sequel with the kind of child-like wonder that Mary

Poppins advocates, then you'll likely enjoy its genuine warmth and delightfully old-fashioned

appeal.

It certainly put a big smile on my face!

And I'll happily watch it again and listen to the soundtrack as well!

New Jurassic World Dimorphodon & Velociraptor Dino Dna Lab Kit Unboxing (slime) Fallen Kingdom - Duration: 16:36.

Wow watch what happens in the chamber of death when oh and Claire and Xia

dissolved the stigma lock to bones the Triceratops to bones the Velociraptor to

bones and our mighty and ominous racks to the skeleton Wow

watch as they enter the chamber of death

also watch as we unbox the Jurassic world fallen Kingdom Mattel dinosaur

toys the time war feed on Dino DNA lab kit and the Velociraptor Dino DNA lab

kit keep watching to see what happens when Owen Claire and SIA turn mercenary

New Jurassic World Dimorphodon & Velociraptor Dino Dna Lab Kit Unboxing (slime) Fallen Kingdom

these dinos to skeleton form is really fun the best thing is they can't escape

once they're a skeleton ok drive them into the chamber of doom trap changing

it out clean drive him back and seal the door release the slime yeah yeah

look it's dissolving here I dissolve them to bone ha ha

and next is the Triceratops

it's melting ha ha there goes another one

I hate diners good the rafter next he's fighting it

haha we get another one ah we got a big one now it's the

indominus rex we captured her we got her we melted hair awesome this is terrible

50 saw all those poor dinos in their Museum of death Wow

poor Dinah's haha and the one will ever capture us no one will know what we did

we're gonna get super written oh no the Spinosaurus

stay back he will die no oh no easier oh

wow I'll find another helper I'm getting outta here

hasta la vista baby see you next time boy come back here help me clean this

mess Claire - great to see you today today I have to die no DNA lab kids

these are like slime mad scientist lab kids so one of the first ones I have is

velociraptor - Dino DNA lab kit it comes a blue slime like a big like test-tube

with like a skeleton inside so it looks almost like the mad scientist have

dissolved the skeleton and if you turn it slime will ooze out the bottom there

is the dye Morford on one and we also have a skin coat and then of course we

had the dye more code on Dino DNA lab k again you got to be like vile here with

the skeleton inside and it

and behind that we are all set up here we have one of the coolest Jurassic Park

sets here this is the Jurassic Park RV that they used in Jurassic Park 3 where

the t-rex has pushed the RV over the cliff there you can see our mad

scientists are experimenting on the Draco racks they're not who you think

they are they aren't mad scientists and then there we have super my mace about

to take them down okay so let's go take a look at what we have this Velociraptor

looks exactly like another one that we opened one of the attack pack

velociraptors so I am gonna try scanning him in possibly he's a different

Velociraptor but I'm thinking it might be the same one that is already there

but anyways this vial here is really awesome so you have like a flexible

dinosaur like skeleton here it almost looks like that the mad scientist have

dissolved the Velociraptor and then they give a bag of blue slime simply go ahead

and then once you get it in there go ahead and put the Dino

right back on there and close it yeah it is awesome check that out you have a

bunch of slime there with the Dino skull pinging and then if you turn it the

slime is going to use out the slime will ooze right out of there because that is

so cool

there we have it this lime has used right out so you could do it as fast or

as slow as you want here it's all the way open and the slime will come out all

a lot faster or you can make it slower and the slime will come off that is so

cool look at that it looks almost like a experiment got broken this would be like

a huge vial you could have like one of your characters come up oh there's a

skeleton in there and it gets broken slime comes out disgusting so it is

really cool and messy and the cool you know another cool thing is you could

actually store your slime in here if you go ahead and close it okay you know I

open and close it from the bottom I was doing it from the top which was

incorrect if you do it from the bottom it does it a lot neater and then you

could go ahead oh look at that yeah and then just simply go ahead fill this back

up and keep your slime right in here just hope nobody turns that dial or is

gonna make a mess and like I said the Velociraptor looks the same oh this is

like in and attack pose mouth is open too close you could move

legs if you haven't seen this cool okay let's go ahead and open up okay with

this also this time more Pradhan looks just like the one I bought earlier the

attack pack one so hopefully it's not will see when we scan it in this is the

looks like the same skeleton they used in the blue one except with this set

you've got like awesome lime green slime so just simply go ahead it's going

everywhere fill up the vial if you hold it long

like that it will lose itself

I'm so glad Jurassic world pull slime into some of those sets because it's

like the perfect addition there you can see it's bubbling up as it goes to the

bottom and then simply go ahead put the skull back in there and then how cool is

that check that out so here we've got the blue one and there we've got the but

it does look like some mad scientist at work what I'm going to do here is open

both of them and with the slime before Zhao just tried to

keep them at a distance so there's two colors don't mix together

there we have it I had to stop just a bit earlier because my two slimes were

about to join together as you can see the green slime here flows a lot more

freely than the blue slime and the cool thing is guys this stuff doesn't really

stick so I love the fact that it's not super sticky it seems like when I make

my own slime no matter what I do I mean it just sticks on it and everything so

here I mean it sticks a bit but it is manageable you could clean it up

close this back up just simply close it like I said it's a great place to store

your slime yeah I think it's covered with slime so just simply let your slime

oozes its way back in there like it picked up something red there

put your skeleton back in there make sure it's closed if it's not closed just

gonna lose right out and then I will do the same

I did want to show you I didn't show you the crack part of the glass so here you

can see it's cracked I mean it matches right up there if you turn it it looks

like it's cracked here but actually at that point that's sealed so when you

join it up like that that's one it's cracked simply go ahead

put this slime back in here just let it lose itself in it well it will bubble to

the bottom - I mean it looks really cool you see like air bubbles like going up

to the top and it makes like funny noises and stuff and then just go ahead

push your Dino back in there Oh make sure you seal it down good it's got like

double layer

I think I'm okay yeah that's the broken okay so I am it's definitely sealed up

so those are that cool was looking vials I've seen and then like I said that dime

or photon is just like the attack back one the head moves up and down the legs

move the wings move let's go ahead and check out these skin codes if they're

new or not just simply go ahead and start up the Jurassic world facts and

we're gonna go ahead and try to skin those in Oh looks like Dino of the week

is Draco Rex which already have that is one of the Dino rivals I've already got

nine of the Dino rivals if you've been following my videos anyways let's try to

scan in this Velociraptor first okay let's see if it's a new one

dinosaur already collected well let's check out the demo photo okay guys super

disappointed both of these are the attack packed I know so they have

already been collected but the good news is tomorrow guys I'm gonna be doing a

video with all nine of these uh just to scan codes from the nine Jurassic world

fallen Kingdom Dino rival Mattel dinosaur toys and it's gonna include 47

of the regular dinos a picture and a scan code picture of each one of them so

if you want to go ahead and add those nine to your app without watching all my

videos tomorrow is the perfect opportunity for you guys

Do You Have Fibromyalgia Or Another Chronic Illness? You Need These Essential Amino Acids! - Duration: 2:32.

Hi. Dr. Minkoff here.

I want to talk to you about Perfect Amino,

especially in relationship to people who have fibromyalgia.

People who have fibromyalgia

are suffering from an over toxification

of their body, of their mitochondria,

of inability to get rid of waste.

And virtually 100% of fibromyalgia

patients

have low levels of essential amino acids in their blood.

And without essential amino acids,

you can't make the enzymes

that are going to detoxify you.

That are going to make energy

in your cells

and they're going to rebuild your mitochondria.

They're going to make you thyroid and other hormones

which are based on amino acids.

And so, this product is really essential

for someone with fibromyalgia

because we have to remake the body from the inside

so that it works.

Now, this isn't an ordinary product.

This is made out of the 8 essential amino acids.

Which then can produce all the rest of the amino acids

that your body needs.

If you compare this with whey protein,

other amino acid products,

collagen,

beef protein,

there's all these things on the market now.

They are very much inferior,

based on actual true laboratory tests to this product.

99% of these amino acids

are going to go into your bloodstream

and be used by your body

to make proteins.

And if you compare it to whey, it's about only 16%.

Collagen, a little over 30%.

So, while those are being touted,

they're not close to this product.

Take this product for 90 days.

If it doesn't help you, we'll refund your money.

I take it every morning.

2 scoops of the powder

and I love the way it makes me feel.

I love it helps my recovery because I'm doing triathlons

and I'm doing training.

It also comes as a tablet for people who like tablets.

Okay?

So, if you have fibromyalgia, try this product.

It really works.

It will rebuild your body so that it can make energy.

It can get rid of waste

and you can heal.

Okay?

Really!

Do it!

Data Science Dojo Alumni - Olusegun Lawal - Duration: 1:23.

Every day I socialize with my people like my friends, my customers, ask them

questions to see what are the challenges they are having with their work.

The way they do their business. Trying to understand their workflow, as in the

the entire work process. So I can see how can we analyze or optimize using the

knowledge of data science and analytics tools or service programs.

Knowledge is ever evolving. There's little less nominal code of knowledge.

So kind of advanced, but actually I got into this class just to enhance my knowledge and also

connect the dots. The instructor is knowledgeable and the peers are encouraging.

And also this is condensed within one week. That also makes sense to do

outside of the class. you have to go back home or back to your hotel to

continue reading and still planning so the learning never stops. I was having a challenge

in the class, but the lecturers were perceptive I was able to keep to it.

Was quick to kind of help assist me to some of my problems and struggles I was having.

And was able to explain in a simple, clear language.

I would recommend it because it is immersive and hands-on, engaging, and detailed.

Though one week is short, but it is very condensed.

Data Science Dojo Alumni - Nichole Nobbman - Duration: 1:38.

I was looking for a data science class because I lead data scientists.

I didn't really know what I should expect from them reasonably.

I didn't really know how to help coach them in their own careers and help them

become better data scientists. That's the primary reason I was looking for a data

science class. It's completely worth it. I've gone through three or four

different iterations of what I want to be when I grow up, and I've gone through

different trainings across that journey outside of college and this is probably

the most helpful course that I've gone through.

I have taken, or started, many

online courses. My biggest problem with online courses is my ability to follow

through, so really having an in-person class allowed me to focus.

Raja and the other instructors did a really great job of making sure that people were

actually engaged and so we didn't move on before people understood key concepts

and I think that's another thing that you miss when you're trying to learn

something online. I think this bootcamp is best suited for

anyone who's interested in data science either as a career or anyone who either

leads a team or manages people who are data scientists. I feel like I'm walking

away with a lot of really usable information and a base level of

information to build on if I decide that I want to go further in the data science field.
