Video: Cloudy, dreary day starts week - Duration: 2:37.

>> GOOD MONDAY TO YOU, I'M

METEOROLOGIST CINDY FITZGIBBON,

WELCOME INTO THE MONTH OF MAY,

WE'RE STARTING IT OUT KIND OF

DREARY WITH A LOT OF LOW CLOUDS

AND FOG, REDUCING THE VISIBILITY

ESPECIALLY SOUTH AND WEST OF THE

CITY OF BOSTON.

WE'RE GOING TO HANG ONTO THESE

CLOUDS THROUGH AT LEAST

LUNCHTIME, AND THEN MAYBE A FEW

BREAKS DEVELOPING THIS

AFTERNOON.

BUT LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURES.

ONLY STRUGGLING HERE THROUGH THE

LOWER 50s IN BOSTON, AND IN

FACT FROM THE CITY ON NORTHWARD

UP THROUGH THE NORTH SHORE,

SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE, WE ARE

STUCK IN THE 50s ALL DAY LONG,

BUT TO THE SOU AND WEST IT IS

NOTICEABLY MILDER, 60s TO NEA

70 DEGREES, ESPECIALLY AS WE GET

SUNSHINE, AND THERE IS A LOT OF

WARM AIR SITTING JUST TO THE

SOUTH AND WEST, THERE IS A WARM

FRONT TRYING TO PUSH ON THROUGH

TODAY.

THAT'S WHY ALL OF THE CLOUDS,

STEADIER RAIN TO THE NORTH AND

SOME SEVERE WEATHER POSSIBLE OUT

AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT.

THAT FOCUS IS GOING TO BE TO THE

WEST.

IN FACT, AN ENHANCED RISK OF

SOME SEVERE STORMS HERE WITH

DAMAGING WIND POTENTIAL THROUGH

NEW YORK STATE, PENNSYLVANIA,

SOUTHWARD, AND AS THESE STORMS

GET GOING THEY WILL TEND TO

WEAKEN AND SHIFT EASTWARD

THROUGH OUR AREA INTO THE

OVERNIGHT HOURS, SO CAN'T RULE

OUT A RUMBLE OF THUNDER BUT THAT

COMES AFTER THE RED S GAME, IF

YOU ARE HEADED TO FEY, FIRST

PITCH 7:10, IT WILL BE MOSTLY

CLOUDY AND COOL.

TEMPERATURES IN THE 50s AND

THE TEMPERATURES MAY ACTUALLY

START TO CLIMB A BIT THEREAFTER.

LET ME STEP YOU THROUGH THE TIME

LINE.

THERE ARE THE BREAKS OF SUN

TRYING TO DEVELOP AT LEAST

BRIEFLY HERE THROUGH T

AFTERNOON.

THE CLOUDS FILL BACK IN AND

DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WE'LL

WATCH THE STORMS HERE OFF TO THE

WEST TRY TO ROLL ON THROUGH, AND

THEY WILL BE COMING THROUGH IN A

WEAKENED STATE SO A RUMBLE OF

THUNDER, I AM NOT EXPECTING ANY

SEVERE WEATHER OVERNIGHT BUT

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME

RUMBLES IN THE OVERNIGHT, FIRST

THING TOMORROW MORNING, AND THEN

THE LAST OF ANY RAIN SHOULD END

MID MORNING, AND WE'LL DRY

THINGS OUT AND GET BACK TO THE

SUNSHINE TOMORROW, AND LOOK AT

THE TEMPERATURES.

8:00 THIS EVENING, WE'RE IN THE

LOW TO MID 50s, AND OVERNIGHT

THE TEMPERATURES START TO COME

UP SO BY TOMORROW MORNING IT'S

RIGHT AROUND 60 DEGREES OUT THE

DOOR, AND AS THE SKIES CLEAR IN

THE AFTERNOON, TEMPERATURES WILL- JUMP UP INTO THE 70s TOMORROW,

WE'RE ON THE WARMER SIDE OF THIS

SYSTEM TOMORROW, WITH COOLER AIR

MAKING A COME BENCHMARK AS WE

HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY SO ON

WEDNESDAY, WE'RE ONLY IN THE

LOWER 60s.

THAT IS SEASONAL THIS TIME OF

YEAR.

WET WEATHER COMES IN ON THURSDAY

NIGHT AND FRIDAY, AS THE SYSTEM

COMES AT US FROM THE SOUTH AND

WEST COMING UP THE COAST WITH A

LOT OF HEAVY RAIN, STRONGER

WINDS AS WELL SO A WET END TO

THE WEEK HERE ON FRIDAY, AND IF

WHAT EDS IS LIKE ON MY BODY #ThisIsMyEDS Tag [CC] - Duration: 10:59.

Hello, hello!

It is May and this is my first EDS Awareness Month after being diagnosed so I'm amped up

and ready to participate, engage, and uplift the visibility of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

After having a doctor say, "I know someone else with EDS and THEY don't use a wheelchair!"

I think that our individual narratives need to be uplifted.

EDS manifests itself on a wide spectrum and our symptoms... are often very fluid as well,

they can change, some of our symptoms can be degenerative and some can go up and down

with time.

I'd like to try and uplift the diversity of EDS and how it impacts our lives as individuals

by starting a 3 part tag called #ThisIsMyEDS... tag, which literally can be done whenever, it doesn't

have to be May it can be whenever you find this video!

PART 1: WHAT IS EDS IS LIKE ON MY BODY

Introduce yourself: name, pronoun(s), and EDS type.

My name is Annie, my pronouns are she/her or they/them, whichever you like and

I have classical Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or cEDS.

First things, first, in one word, how are you feeling today?

Fatigued... but motivated.

Cheated but it's my tag, so whatever.

For those who don't know, can you explain EDS [medically] in a sentence?

There are different types of EDS, mine is classical type, essentially, the types, they

are genetic connective tissue disorders caused by faulty or defective collagen and it can

affect the skin, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs.

What's your favorite analogy for how EDS feels?

Or what EDS is like?

Um, there are a few, a big one would be my body feels like a house with a lousy foundation,

loose hinges, putty in place of glue, air conditioner that works whenever it wants to,

electricity that constantly fails, there is some kind of lingering buzzing noise that never goes

away and randomly gets louder for however long it wants to and makes you feel like you

want to die.

That last one was a metaphor for chronic pain.

What are your symptoms and comorbid illnesses/conditions?

Chronic Pain; that's overall joint and muscle pain as well as neuropathy in my left leg

and herniated discs in my lower back. Hypermobility, Lax and fragile joints,

Frequent subluxations; full on dislocations are rather rare.

Easily Bruising, Stretchy Skin, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic Migraines, Dysautonomia, (suspected) P.O.T.S.

or POTS, Sleep Disorders, SI joint disease, irregular body temperature, occasional gastrointestinal

issues, meaning digestive issues, tummy issues, uh, Anxiety, and Depression...

I have somewhat blurry vision and have experienced some hearing loss, I have mild difficulties

in both areas, um, I have some pulmonary and cardiovascular issues, meaning lung and heart issues,

including tachycardia which is why POTS is suspected.

Cognitive Impairments meaning I can have tremendous difficulty concentrating and poor memory.

My physical disabilities include my limited ability to walk, because of dysautonomia which

is secondary to severe chronic pain, joint hypermobility; um, the joints in my legs and my feet

don't withstand pressure well so they kind of collapse which is very painful, um, I risk

injury when I walk as well because of the laxity of my joints, walking also exhausts

the muscles in my legs because they're pretty much doing all the work.

I also have limited upper body strength because of the laxity and fragility in my shoulders,

elbows, and wrists (which are often in a lot of pain) and the joints in my fingers don't withstand

pressure either, similar to the joints in my feet and legs.

How does EDS impact your daily life?

In my daily life the aids I needs vary on a day to day basis, hour to hour basis sometimes,

I told my sister in law, that I compare the lack of predictability of my symptoms to waking

up every morning to spin a wheel that decides what ailment I'd be battling that day, kind

of like a game show, or video game, however feels more relevant to you.

Today Annie is battling Severe Nausea, Difficulty Breathing, and Inability to Stand or Sit Up

Because of [INHALE] Extreme Amounts of Back and Leg Pain!

Today is battling Chronic Fatigue, Excessive Daytime Sleepiness, and Lack of Thirst or Hunger!

There are days when my joints are in severe need of compression and protection, depending

on which ones, that's when I'll put the braces on.

These things impact my daily life in ways most wouldn't think about, like the laxity and

pain in my wrists, makes it very painful to pick up wet clothes from the laundry or pour

myself something from a pitcher, uh, some days I have difficulty picking up my phone because

of this sharp pain in my wrists. Um...

My leg pain and dysautonomia make it hard for me to stand up, and-and reach my arms up

for something in my closet or kitchen cupboard, get out of the bathtub without fainting, even setting

up my tripod and camera can be pretty difficult!

I go to the hospital whenever I can afford to go and whenever I can manage to make an appointment,

they often take months to arrange.

I am too sick too often to keep a typical job anymore so currently, I make an income through creating

content online, YouTube, and amazing angel contributors on Patreon and Paypal, as well as recently

I've been trying my hand at selling t-shirts online, um, and I made an EDS shirt for

EDS Awareness Month and I'll put the link in the description, please check it out!

Chronic fatigue and chronic pain keep me in bed and isolated A LOT. Um...

Access to medical care has been very difficult, economically, physically, emotionally, so

I am generally unmedicated.

I've tried a couple medications to no avail, and then getting back into doctors spaces costs money

and energy and SO few doctors know enough about EDS in the first place in order to better

help me or have a better idea of what to prescribe me...

Oh right, um, the "doctors don't know what EDS is" thing.

Uhh... Perfect time to explain the zebra thing!

[DEEP INHALE]

EDS is symbolized by zebra stripes because rare diseases are symbolized by zebra stripes,

why?

Well, doctors are often trained to think "If you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras"

as in not to suspect the rare possibility, but sometimes it IS the rare possibility so...

sometimes it is in fact a zebra.

Though now it is thought that EDS is not actually that rare just rarely diagnosed.

The lack of awareness of EDS typically makes for a very grueling diagnosis journey and

often goes completely undiagnosed.

Because of lack of help from doctors and my economic status it definitely feels like I'm

just figuring out affordable palliative measures as I go along, drugstore braces, Excedrin

for migraines and a caffeine boost for my fatigue, FORGET drug store pain killers

because they might as well be Tic Tacs.

Um, I'm trying to manage it all without a map, without guidance, without professional medical

help because that's not really an option for me right now.

I'm actually going to make a specific video about what mobility aids I use, um..

Why and when I need them, so stay tuned for that and for the following two parts of the

tag; and, oh yeah! I will leave the tag in the description for you in case you want to participate in the tag as well!

And you know..

Dow there's Like button, the subscribe button, the notifications button,

and I will see you eventually! Bye!

How To Rank YouTube Videos 2017 - Duration: 5:58.

Hi this video is about how to rank your youtube videos in 2017

Are you struggling to get your videos ranked on YouTube?

Videos that appear on the first page of youtube or google will get more views and subscribers

than if they appear on pager 2 or beyond.

In this video I'll discuss the Top 16 YouTube ranking factors

that will get you more views and subscribers.

Hi my name is Herman Drost from drostdesigns.com If this is your first time here hit the subscribe

button.

If you've already subscribed hit the bell icon to receive notifications on future videos.

This channel is all about how to grow your audience on YouTube and generate traffic,

leads and sales on autopilot.

Stay tuned to learn how to rank your videos on youtube

YouTube's algorithim works differently to Google's algorithim so it's good to know

what YouTube wants to rank your videos.

Keep in mind that youtube is not going to reveal all the secrets of its algorithim for

ranking videos.

Here are the Top 16 Ranking Factors 1. Watch time

This is one of the biggest ranking factors and youtube says it rewards videos that keeps

people watching not only on the next view, but on successive views.

Some of the things that you can do to increase watch time is to produce high quality content,

create engaging videos, add call to actions, do live streaming

2. Audience retention This includes Average View Duration, Average

percentage viewed, Absolute audience retention, Relative audience retention.

Average View Duration is the average minutes watched per view for the content of your video

Average percentage viewed is the average percentage of a video your audience watches per view.

Absolute audience retention is how often a moment of your video is watched as a percentage

of the total views.

For example rewinding and re-watching can result in values higher than 100%

Take a look at what parts of a video are most popular and try to duplicate it.

Pay close attention to the first 15 seconds of your video and see where viewers drop-off

Relative audience retention compares your videos to all other videos of the same length.

Take a look at the relative audience retention graph in youtube analytics.

If it's over 50% that means more people are watching your video compared to other

videos of the same length.

3. View velocity This refers to how fast you accumulate views

in the first 48 hours of uploading your video so try to get lots of interaction on your

video in the first 48 hours.

Poor View Velocity will have a negative impact on your following videos as well as your previous

videos.

4. Session Time This refers to people watching consecutive

videos so if you attract people to your video you get credit for your watch time.

If they go from your video and watch videos on another channel then you still get credit

for the video that's been watched on your channel.

A couple of ways to achieve this is to add videos to Playlists.

You can also redirect viewers to other videos by using playlists and cards

5. Engagement..youtube rewards videos that get a lot of engagement such as likes, comments,

etc.

So definitely use cards, end screens and thumbnails to increase engagement

6. Channel subscribers Channels that attract new subscribers on a

continuous basis will do better than channels that don't attract subscribers.

This means that your channel is growing and your channel will have more authority and

will be easier to rank videos.

7. Title Create a title for your video that matches

the phrase that people are searching for on youtube and Google.

By doing this you know that people are searching for that exact keyword phrase

8. Description Creating an optimized description will help

your videos to show up in the suggested videos sidebar.

9. Tags Place the keyword phrase that you use in your

title and description also in your tags.

All tags that you use should be closely related to each other.

This will help your video get discovered in the search engines.

10. Playlists Playlists build long watch-time sessions for

your video content.

It helps organize and feature the content on your channel.

Creating a series of videos and placing them in a playlist will keep people watching more

videos.

11. Upload frequency YouTube rewards channels that upload videos

on a frequent basis.

Instead of uploading your video once per month try to upload a video every week or twice

per week.

The key to frequent uploads is to be consistent.

12. Closed Captions Adding closed captions to your videos will

enable those people who can't hear your videos to be able to read the captions under

the videos.

By doing this you expand the audience that watches your videos.

13. Video quality..all these ranking factors will make no sense if your video is not of high

quality.

Therefore make sure your content is what viewers want to watch.

14. Video length.

The longer a viewer watches your video the better it will do in the search engines.

For example if a viewer watches 1 minute of a 5 minute video then it won't do as well

as a viewer watching 5 minutes of a 10 minute video. Therefore experiment with creating longer

videos that keep people watching.

15. Embedding Embedding your video on your own website as

well as other websites that get traffic will improve your rankings.

This is because people are interacting with your video.

It will also help to rank your web page on Google because people will stay watching your

video on your web page.

16. Total Shares When you share your video across the web on

social media sites, it will generate more traffic.

More traffic and interaction with your videos will help them to get ranked in the search

engines.

Here are a few important things to keep in mind when ranking your videos

Not all your videos will get top rankings especially if you're in a competitive niche.

Some videos will take months to get top rankings Low competition keywords are easier to rank

for.

You can also get traffic from your channel home page and suggested videos

Optimize your old videos.

Optimize your old videos.that are not getting a lot of traffic.

Often by changing the title, description and tags, they'll do much better.

Make sure you create content that people are searching for.

Create evergreen content for long term rankings.

Use youtube analytics to see what's working and what's not working so you can make improvements.

Let me ask you an important question What do you struggle with the most when ranking

your videos?

Post your answer in the comments below.

I'd love to read them Click the card icon to download my video upload

VP Mike Pence On President Donald Trump's 100 Days, Health Care (Full) | Meet The Press | NBC News - Duration: 15:29.

HIGHEST LEVEL OF SECURITY BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

>> WELL, WE GOT A LOT TO GET TO. NO BETTER PERSON TO TALK TO THAN

MY NEXT GUEST, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, MIKE PENCE.

>> GOOD TO SEE YOU, CHUCK. >> HAPPY DAY 101.

>> THANK YOU. >> THE PRESIDENT MADE THAT

REMARK THAT THIS WAS MORE WORK THAN IN HIS PREVIOUS LIFE AND HE

THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EASIER. WHAT HAS THE PRESIDENT FOUND

HARDER THAN HE EXPECTED SO FAR? >> WELL, I DON'T KNOW THAT HE'S

FOUND IT HARDER. I THINK HE HAS FOUND THE RANGE

OF ISSUES AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES AT HOME AND ABROAD

GIVEN THE PATH OF THE PAST ADMINISTRATION TO BE

PARTICULARLY CHALLENGING. AS THE PRESIDENT'S SAID, WORLD

IS A MESS. HE SPENT AN AWFUL LOT OF TIME IN

THE FIRST 100 DAYS RE-ENGAGING THE WORMD.

HE SENTENCE US MANY OF AROUND THE WORLD.

WE'RE REBUILDING OUR MILITARY. WE'RE RETHINKING TRADE

AGREEMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN COSTING AMERICAN JOBS.

THEN HERE AT HOME THE PRESIDENT HAS ROLLED HIS SLEEVES UP,

LITERALLY, NOT JUST 100 DAYS, CHUCK, BUT SINCE THE DAY AFTER

THE ELECTION, THE PRESIDENT HAS BEEN OUT THERE FIGHTING FOR

AMERICAN JOBS AND IN 2017 ALONE MORE THAN 500,000 JOBS HAVE BEEN

CREATED. YOU SEE OPTIMISM AMONG JOB

CREATORS IN AMERICA, ENTHUSIASM AMONG CONSUMERS ACROSS THE

COUNTRY. IT'S JUST I THINK -- I THINK WE

WENT THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME THE LAST EIGHT YEARS BUT

AMERICA'S BACKnd PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP.

>> BUT IN MANY WAYS, HE'S FOUND HIMSELF -- IT'S ALMOST LIKE

WASHINGTON HAS EITHER MOVED HIM OR HIS HAS DEFEATED HIM SO FAR.

WOULD YOU ACCEPT THAT? YOU LOOK AT HIS POSITIONS ON

NATO, OR EVEN THE PULLBACK ON NAFTA A LITTLE BIT, WHAT HE HAS

SAID ABOUT CHINA. IT'S ALL FALLING INTO THE

WASHINGTON CONVENTIONAL WISDOM. >> OH, I DON'T -- I DON'T REALLY

SHARE YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON THAT, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, CHUCK.

I MEAN ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE, HERE'S A PRESIDENT WHO

SAID THAT NATO HAD A CHANGE, THAT OUR NATO ALLIES HAD TO

BEGIN TO STEP UP TO BEGIN TO SHARE THE BURDEN OF THE COST OF

OUR COMMON DEFENSE. AND THEY ARE.

THEY'RE ALSO CHANGING THE MISSION OF NATO TO FOCUS MORE ON

TERRORISM. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE

PRESIDENT CALLED FOR WHEN -- I MEAN HE DIDN'T CHANGE ON NATO,

NATO CHANGED. >> BUT NATO CHANGED YEARS AGO.

NATO'S BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT IN AFGHANISTAN FIGHTING TERRORISM.

NATO -- HE'S NOT THE FIRST PRESIDENT TO COMPLAIN THAT THE

REST OF THE NATO NATIONS DON'T PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE.

>> WELL, MOST OF THEM DON'T. THE PRESIDENT'S GOING TO BE

VISITING NATO IN JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND HE'LL DELIVER THAT

STRONG MESSAGE AGAIN AND I KNOW THE SECRETARY-GENERAL IS

STANDING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH HIM.

BUT, LOOK, I THINK YOU LOOK AT WHAT THIS PRESIDENT HAS DONE,

COME TO WASHINGTON, D.C. TO FIGHT FOR THE FORGOTTEN MAN AND

WOMEN OF THIS COUNTRY AND THEY SEE HIM DOING IT EACH AND EVERY

DAY. I MEAN HE ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK

THAT WE'RE GOING TO RENEGOTIATE NAFTA.

IN THE EARLY DAYS OF THE ADMINISTRATION, WE GOT OUT OF

THE TRANSPACIFIC PARTNERSHIP WHICH, AS THE PRESIDENT SAID,

WOULD HAVE MADE NAFTA'S FAILURES PALE IN COMPARISON.

HE LITERALLY EACH AND EVERY DAY HAS BEEN OUT THERE FIGHTING TO

KEEP HIS WORD TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

AND HE'S, FRANKLY, BEEN FIGHTING AGAINST THE GALE-FORCE WIND OF

THE ESTABLISHMENT HERE IN WASHINGTON, D.C., AND FRANKLY,

FIGHTING AGAINST THE GALE-FORCE WIND OF MANY IN THE NATIONAL

MEDIA WHO WOULD CONSTANTLY LIKE TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT AWAY FROM

THE PRESIDENT'S RELENTLESS PROMISE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

>> ONE PROMISE HAD TO DO WITH A TON OF LEGISLATIVE ACTION.

THESE ARE THE PIECES OF LEGISLATION HE PROMISED TO AT

LEAST INTRODUCE AND BEGIN FIGHTING FOR ARE.

NO ONE SAID HE WAS GOING TO SIGN ALL OF THIS, THAT I WILL GIVE

YOU. TAX REFORM BE WITH OFFSHORING

JOBS, INFRASTRUCTURE, SCHOOL CHOICE, HEALTH CARE, CHILD CARE,

IMMIGRATION, ETHICS REFORM,

MILITARY, CRIME AND DRUGS. THE ONLY PLACE WHERE THERE'S

BEEN ANY ACTION ACTUALLY IN CONGRESS IS REALLY ON HEALTH

CARE. SO WHAT'S TAKEN SO LONG GETTING

THESE OTHER ASPECTS INTRODUCED? OR WAS IT AN OVERPROMISE?

>> WELL, NO, IT WASN'T AN OVERPROMISE.

REMEMBER, THIS PRESIDENT HAS ALREADY SIGNED MORE BILLS IN THE

FIRST 100 DAYS THAN ANY PRESIDENT SINCE HARRY TRUMAN.

I MEAN HE'S LITERALLY 13 DIFFERENT PIECES OF LEGISLATION

THAT HAVE ROLLED BACK JOB KILLING REGULATIONS FROM THE

OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SIGNED INTO LAW.

HE'S TAKEN EXECUTIVE -- >> OKAY, BUT WE'RE NOT ON HEALTH

CARE, WE'RE NOT ON TAX REFORM. WE HAVE -- I'M TALKING THE BIG

SIGNATURE PIECES OF LEGISLATION. >> BUT HE SIGNED OVER 30

DIFFERENT EXECUTIVE ORDERS ON VIRTUALLY EVERY ONE OF THOSE

TOPICS THAT YOU JUST REFERRED TO.

AND WE'RE WORKING WITH THE CONGRESS.

I THINK HEALTH CARE REFORM, REPEALING, REPLACING OBAMACARE,

IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. BECAUSE THIS PRESIDENT IS

DRIVING RELENTLESSLY TOWARD AN AGENDA TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT

AGAIN. I GOT TO TELL YOU, WHEN WE WERE

OUT VISITING A FACTORY YESTERDAY NEAR HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA,

YOU SAW THE BIG CROWDS, THE THUNDEROUS CROWDS, VIRTUALLY

UNANIMOUS SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTED US IN LAST FALL'S

ELECTION. BUT WAS EVEN MORE INSPIRING TO

ME, AS WE WALK THE SHOP ROOM FLOOR, NOT JUST THE BUSINESS

OWNERS EXPRESSING ENTHUSIASM FOR THE PRESIDENT'S PLAN TO CUT

BUSINESS TAXES AND CUT TAXES ACROSS THE BOARD, BUT THE GUYS

THAT HAD PAUSED FROM WORKING ON THE LINE, TO REACH OUT TO THIS

PRESIDENT AND JUST THANK HIM FOR BEING THERE.

SOMEBODY SAID TO ME RECENTLY THAT EVERYBODY THAT PUTS ON A

STEEL-TOED BOOT IN THIS COUNTRY KNOWS THEY'VE GOT SOMEBODY

FIGHTING FOR THEM EVERY DAY, AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE, AND IT IS

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP. >> LET'S GET OUT OF ATMOSPHERICS

AND GET INTO SOME DETAILS. TALKING ABOUT HEALTH CARE A

LITTLE BIT. I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN WORKING HARD

ON THIS, IN MANY WAYS BACK AND FORTH, PEOPLE SEE YOU DUCKING

INTO DIFFERENT CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES.

THIS SO-CALLED. >> MacARTHUR AMENDMENT.

>> IT WILL MAKE INSURANCE PROBABLY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE FOR

THEM AND IN SOME CASES PERHAPS INACCESSIBLE.

>> IT DOESN'T HELP THE PEOPLE I REPRESENT.

>> YOU'VE HEARD THIS CONCERN WHICH IS THAT IF YOU ESSENTIALLY

ELIMINATE THESE ESSENTIAL BENEFITS YOU GIVE THE STATES THE

OPPORTUNITY TO ESSENTIALLY TAKE OUT THE PROTECTION FOR

PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS, OR IF YOU DO KEEP IT, MAKING IT SO

THAT THOSE FOLKS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE PAYING A LOT MORE FOR

HEALTH INSURANCE. IF THAT IS THE CASE, HOW DO YOU

PASS THIS THING? >> FIRST BEFORE I GET TO THAT,

LET'S BEGIN WITH THE FACT THAT OBAMACARE HAS FAILED.

I MEAN IT LITERALLY IS COLLAPSING ALL OVER COUNTRY.

>> A LOT OF FOLKS -- THAT IS A VERY DEBATABLE POINT, MR. VICE

PRESIDENT. IN FAIRNESS.

THAT IS A VERY DEBATABLE POINT. >> THERE ARE STATES AROUND THE

COUNTRY WHERE LITERALLY WHERE PEOPLE IN HALF OF THE STATE HAVE

NO CHOICE FOR HEALTH INSURANCE AT ALL.

PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THEIR INSURANCE PREMIUMS SKYROCKET.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW THAT WE NEED TO REPEAL AND REPLACE

OBAMACARE. AND PRESIDENT TRUMP, FROM THE

FIRST DAY OF THIS ADMINISTRATION, HAS BEEN WORKING

EVERY SINGLE DAY TO KEEP THAT PROMISE TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU, THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS IS OFTEN

SLOW. NOBODY KNOWS IT BETTER THAN YOU.

>> AND YOURSELF. YOU WERE A MEMBER OF CONGRESS.

>> WHAT'S THE OLD SAYING? IF YOU LIKE SAUSAGE, DON'T GO

WHERE THEY MAKE IT. WE'RE MAKING LAW HERE AND WE'RE

UNMAKING ONE OF THE WORST PIECES OF LEGISLATION IN MODERN

AMERICAN HISTORY. AND ON THIS POINT, CONGRESS

OBVIOUSLY WASN'T READY TO BEGIN THE PROCESS OF REPEALING

OBAMACARE LITTLE MORE THAN A MONTH AGO.

BUT I THINK WE'RE CLOSE, AND IT IS OWING TO THE FACT THAT YOU'RE

SEEING MEMBERS OF CONGRESS COMING TOGETHER TO REPEAL THE

ONEROUS TAXES AND PENALTIES THAT PEOPLE PAY IF THEY DON'T HAVE

INSURANCE IN OBAMACARE, TO EXPAND HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS,

TO GIVE GOVERNORS LIKE MY FRIEND JOHN KASICH THE ABILITY --

ALL-NEW FLEXIBILITY TO IMPROVE MEDICAID FOR THEIR MOST

VULNERABLE CITIZENS. BUT WE'RE ALSO KEEPING OUR

PROMISES TO PROTECT PEOPLE WHO HAVE PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS.

>> BESIDES PROTECTING THEM, ARE YOU GOING TO BE ABLE TO PREVENT

THEIR PREMIUMS FROM SKYROCKETING?

THAT'S THE CONCERN. IF YOU ISOLATE THEM INTO RISK

POOLS THAT THE INEVITABLE IMPACT IS THE RISE IN PREMIUMS.

HOW DO YOU PROTECT THAT? >> I THINK THE WAY YOU PROTECT

THAT IS, FIRST AND FOREMOST YOU MAKE IT VERY CLEAR.

AS WE DID IN THE FIRST BILL, BUT WITH THE AMENDMENTS THAT HAVE

TAKEN PLACE, IN THE LAST SEVERAL WEEKS, AND COME FORWARD, IT IS

EVEN BETTER STILL, THAT WE'RE BASICALLY BORROWING AN IDEA FROM

THE STATE OF MAINE THAT HAS SEEN A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN PREMIUMS

FOR PEOPLE ON THEIR HEALTH INSURANCE BECAUSE YOU TAKE

PEOPLE THAT HAVE PRE-EXISTING AND COSTLY CONDITIONS AND PUT

THEM INTO A HIGH-RISK POOL AND YOU SUBSIDIZE THAT SO THAT IT IS

AFFORDABLE TO THOSE INDIVIDUALS. SO YOU'RE GUARANTEEING COVERAGE

FOR PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. AND FLEXIBILITY THAT YOU'RE

REFERRING TO IN THIS LATEST MacARTHUR AMENDMENT, STATES CAN

ONLY APPLY FOR THAT WAIVER IN FLEXIBILITY IF THEY HAVE EITHER

A FEDERAL OR STATE HIGH-RISK POOL THAT GUARANTEES THAT PEOPLE

WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE COVERAGE. AND IT WILL BE AFFORDABLE.

>> BY THE WAY, TERRIFIC SEGUE. I HAVE TWO MAINE SENATORS COMING

ON THE SHOW LATER TODAY. I WILL ASK SENATOR SUSAN COLLINS

ABOUT THAT MAINE RISK POOL. >>> I WANT TO GO TO TAXES HERE.

BY THE WAY, ON HEALTH CARE, I KNOW THE PRESIDENT STRESSED THE

HOUSE VOTES IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.

YOU GOING TO BE ABLE TO SIGN A NEW VERSION OF HEALTH CARE,

WHETHER IT'S FULL REPEAL AND REPLACE OR NOT, BY THE END OF

THIS YEAR? >> I BELIEVE THROUGH A SERIES OF

BILLS, THAT FIRST ONE THAT WE ARE HOPEFUL THERE WILL BE ACTION

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SOON, AND THROUGH EXECUTIVE

ACTION, AND THROUGH FURTHER LEGISLATION THAT WE'LL DELIVER

ON OUR PROMISE TO REPEAL AND REPLACE OBAMACARE, AND GIVE THE

AMERICAN PEOPLE THE KIND OF WORLD CLASS HEALTH CARE THEY

DESERVE. >> BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR?

NOT MAKING THAT PROMISE? >> I HOPE BEFORE THE END OF THE

YEAR. LOOK, AGAIN, I GO BACK TO THE

FIRST POINT, CHUCK. I KNOW YOU SAY IT IS DEBATABLE,

GET OUT ACROSS THE COUNTRY. OBAMACARE HAS FAILED.

EVERY PROMISE OF OBAMACARE HAS BEEN BROKEN.

PREMIUMS HAVE SKYROCKETED. PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR

INSURANCE, LOST THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE THEIR DOCTORS.

WE'VE GOT TO DO BETTER. WE WILL UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP.

>>> I WANT TO ASK YOU ON TAX REFORM.

A LOT OF ESTIMATES. LOOK, WE'RE VERY EARLY IN THIS

PROCESS. I'M WELL AWARE, WON'T GET INTO

TOO MANY OF THE WEEDS. BUT THE OVERALL IMPACT LOOKS

LIKE A BIG SHOT AT THE DEFICIT. SOME PEOPLE ESTIMATE AS MUCH AS

7 TRILLION OVER SEVEN YEARS, AS SMALL AS $3 TRILLION.

>> WE HAVE NEARLY A $20 TRILLION NATIONAL DEBT THAT DOUBLED UNDER

THE LAST ADMINISTRATION, BECAUSE OF A STRUGGLING AMERICAN

ECONOMY. WE JUST GOT THE NUMBERS.

1.6%? THE STRONGEST ECONOMY ON EARTH

GROWING AT LESS THAN 2%? LESS THAN 1% IN THE FIRST

QUARTER. LOOK, ALL OF THOSE STATISTICS

AND TALKING WITH EVERY-DAY AMERICANS AND JOB CREATORS

ACROSS THIS COUNTRY ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT THE AMERICAN

PEOPLE ARE CRYING OUT FOR TAX RELIEF.

WE HAVE ONE OF THE HIGHEST CORPORATE TAX RATES IN THE

WORLD. THE PRESIDENT'S GOING TO DRIVE

TO LOWER THAT TO 15% TO MAKE BUSINESSES LARGE AND SMALL MORE

COMPETITIVE. AND WE'RE GOING TO LOWER THE TAX

RATE TO THREE MARGINAL RATES FOR EVERY AMERICAN AND UNLEASH THE

BOUND-UP ENERGY OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY.

>> HOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY FOR IT?

IT IS GOING TO INCREASE THE DEFICIT.

EVERYTHING YOU OUTLINED WILL INCREASE THE DEFICIT, PERIOD.

HOW DO YOU PREVENT THAT? >> THE ONLY WAY WE'RE GOING TO

MEET THE OBLIGATIONS THAT WE FACE IN DEFICITS TODAY ARE

LONG-TERM OBLIGATIONS IN OUR ENTITLEMENTS, CHUCK, IS THROUGH

GROWTH. THE PRESIDENT HAS A GROWTH

VISION FOR THE AMERICAN ECONOMY THAT BEGINS WITH ALLOWING THE

AMERICAN PEOPLE TO KEEP MORE OF WHAT THEY EARN.

THE PRESIDENT HAS PROPOSED ONE OF THE LARGEST TAX CUTS IN

AMERICAN HISTORY. I HAVE TO TELL YOU, THE EARLY

RESPONSE ON CAPITOL HILL HAS BEEN VERY ENCOURAGING.

>> I UNDERSTAND PEOPLE ARE HAPPY ABOUT IT.

BUT YOU ARE GOING TO INCREASE THE DEFICIT.

>> WELL, MAYBE IN THE SHORT TERM.

BUT THE TRUTH IS, IF WE DON'T GET THIS ECONOMY GROWING AT 3%,

OR MORE, AS THE PRESIDENT BELIEVES THAT WE CAN, WE'RE

NEVER GOING TO MEET THE OBLIGATIONS THAT WE'VE MADE

TODAY. >>> QUICKLY, ON SOUTH KOREA, I

KNOW YOU WERE IN ASIA. THERE'S SOME NEWS THIS MORNING

THAT WE -- THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR, GENERAL McMASTER, HAS

REASSURED OR SOUTH KOREA ALLIES ABOUT MISSILE DEFENSE, ABOUT

EXTRA PROTECTIONS AND THAT THE UNITED STATES IS GOING TO PAY

FOR THIS. PRESIDENT TRUMP SAID SOUTH KOREA

WOULD. HOW YOU GOING TO SQUARE THAT?

>> WELL, WHEN THE PRESIDENT ASKED ME TO GO TO SOUTH KOREA

AND JAPAN AND VISIT OUR ALLIES IN THE REGION, IT WAS TO

REASSURE THEM DURING THESE TROUBLED TIMES WHERE WE SEE

INCREASED PROVOCATIONS FROM THE REGIME IN NORTH KOREA THAT

AMERICAN STANDS WITH THEM, AMERICA WILL DEFEND THEM.

AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THE BONDS BETWEEN THE PEOPLE OF

SOUTH KOREA AND THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES FORGED DURING

THE KOREAN WAR ARE IMMUTABLE AND UNSHAKEABLE.

AND HOWEVER WE RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF THEIR DEFENSE, THE PEOPLE OF

SOUTH KOREA KNOW THAT AMERICA WILL BE THERE TO DEFEND THEM,

EVEN AS THEY DEFEND THEMSELVES. >> SO AT A MINIMUM, WE'RE NOT

GOING TO ARGUE OVER THE BILL NOW IS WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.

>> NO. LOOK, THE PRESIDENT'S BEEN VERY

CLEAR, WHETHER IT IS OUR ALLIES IN EUROPE OR SOUTH KOREA OR

JAPAN OR OTHER COUNTRIES, THAT WE EXPECT COUNTRIES AROUND THE

WORLD TO DO MORE. WHETHER IT'S THIS MISSILE

DEFENSE SYSTEM OR OTHER SYSTEMS. I THINK YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT THE

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO CALL ON

THE PROSPEROUS NATIONS THAT THE UNITED STATES PROVIDES SECURITY

AND PROTECTION FOR TO DO MORE IN THEIR OWN DEFENSE.

>>> FINAL QUESTION. YOU DID LOSE THE POPULAR VOTE BY

AN ESTIMATE OF 3 MILLION. AND THERE HAS BEEN SOME CONCERN

THAT THIS ADMINISTRATION HASN'T DONE ENOUGH TO REACH OUT TO

THOSE THAT DIDN'T SUPPORT HIM. AND THE FACT IS, YOU WANT TO

BRING THIS COUNTRY BACK TOGETHER.

THERE'S -- I BELIEVE YOU IN THAT.

BUT WHY HAVEN'T YOU MADE A CONCRETE STEP TO REACH OUT TO

THE OTHER SIDE A LITTLE BIT AND TO TRY TO SORT OF HEAL SOME OF

THESE WOUNDS? >> I THINK THE PRESIDENT REACHES

OUT EVERY DAY. YOU KNOW, I'M WITH HIM VIRTUALLY

EVERY DAY. WE WERE ON THE ROAD YESTERDAY,

OUT TO PENNSYLVANIA AND IN THE OVAL OFFICE, AND I'VE SOON AN

EXTRAORDINARY COLLECTION OF AMERICANS COME THROUGH THE WHITE

HOUSE, COME THROUGH THE OVAL OFFICE.

WE HAD THE TEACHER OF THE YEAR, TEACHERS FROM ALL 50 STATES

SURROUNDING THE PRESIDENT'S DESK.

I'VE SEEN HIM REACH OUT TO LEADERS ACROSS THE SPECTRUM.

LAST NIGHT -- >> HAS IT WORKED?

LAST NIGHT WAS A CAMPAIGN RALLY AND THEY HAVE FELT GOOD.

BUT IT WASN'T UNITING RHETORIC. HE'S PRETTY DIVISIVE.

>> YEAH, BUT LAST NIGHT THE PRESIDENT SAID WHATEVER YOUR

RACE OR YOUR CREED, THAT WE'RE ALL AMERICANS AND WE ALL HAVE

THE SAME PATRIOTS' BLOODS IN OUR VEINS.

I THINK YOU ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO SEE THE PRESIDENT

REACH OUT. LOOK, THIS IS A VERY TOUGH TIME.

AMERICA FACES REAL CHALLENGES AT HOME AND ABROAD.

IT'S CREATED A GREAT DEAL OF ANXIETY AMONG THE AMERICAN

PEOPLE. BUT I THINK AS THE AMERICAN

PEOPLE SEE THE STRENGTH AND RESOLVE OF THIS PRESIDENT, AS

THEY SEE OUR ECONOMY COMING BACK, OPPORTUNITIES FOR

THEMSELVES AND THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN, AND AS THEY

SEE A SAFER AND MORE SECURE WORLD BECAUSE OF THE STRONG

LEADERSHIP OF PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP, I'M CONFIDENT YOU'RE

GOING TO SEE MORE UNITY IN AMERICA AS A RESULT.

What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda: James and John's Story - Duration: 4:15.

What the world portrays is behind those walls

is a group of monsters.

What it's really been like,

they're human beings that look just like me and you,

who have made some mistakes.

When we come in here and treat them just like

human beings and we're not judging them,

it kind of gives them hope.

So I've been with Honda a little over 26 years,

and I've had an opportunity to wear a lot of leadership hats around Honda.

Before accepting this new role in our manufacturing office

I was working in the Marysville Auto Plant here in the assembly department,

and that's where I met James at.

As we talked we enjoyed our conversations and then

it just kept growing and kept evolving.

It was good to see a young, energetic individual

that was very eager and hungry about Honda

and our philosophy and our operating principles,

and I said, you know what, I'm going to mentor you.

I got a phone call from John and he said,

Hey, are you up for meeting tomorrow after work?

And I said John, I'm sorry, I can't meet.

I'm actually going to this prison ministry.

And he said wait a second, I got invited to the same exact thing.

So he said, how about this, how about we both go together,

that way we both can share the experience together and both have an impact.

That's kind of where it all evolved from there.

We go in there every Thursday and we listen to different inspirational music,

and then each member will talk about

how that moved them, or how it impacted their life.

To see gang members in the same program together,

interacting as friends and showing love,

that's a big impact.

When you're locked away from everything,

the little things mean the most.

I ain't received a Christmas card from anyone,

but I received a Christmas card from James and John.

They genuinely care.

And that is so important for somebody from the outside to come in and want to listen.

How they were treated in prison, I do believe,

will have an impact on the outside world.

So anything that I can do to help out is very, very important.

Some of them have been in there 10, 15, 20 years,

and never had a visit from a family member.

If we just forget about them and don't spend time with them,

they're going to come out,

and if they don't have anything positive to hold on to,

they're going to go back to what they know.

My nephew was murdered about a year ago,

and my nephew was our pride and joy.

Just the way James bonded with our family,

and the concern and just the energy that he put into helping our family,

James was there every step of the way.

Doing this mission together really makes our bond a lot stronger.

And especially when you do something that helps other people,

I think that's a type of bond that is indescribable.

This prison ministry, it's therapy for me.

The thing that really helped me is the people that are committing these crimes,

they're human beings that deserve a second chance.

Through hearing their stories I was able to forgive

the gentleman that took my nephew's life.

You know, John and James... rain, snow, or shine, they're here.

And everything is just genuine.

It's just in my heart and it's my nature to want to see people thrive

and see people be successful and want to help people

when they're going through different challenges.

Life is more about what you give than what you get.

And if I could do anything to help just one person

not come back to prison, I think there is nothing better.

I look forward to it,

just going out and making a difference.

That's our way of giving back.

Knee Strengthening Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 9:52.

Hey everybody, it's Doctor Jo, and today

I'm going to show you some knee

strengthening exercises. Let's get started.

So I'm going to start off with some pretty

simple exercises, and then we will

progressively get to a little bit harder

exercises. So we're going to start off in

the chair first, and just a simple kick

out with your leg is going to work those

quad muscles for your knee. And those

quads are connected to the knee cap,

which is really important to help all

that strengthening there. So make sure

you're sitting comfortably in the chair,

make sure that your back is supported so

you don't have to worry about your

posture, sitting nice and upright and

just really slowly kick out and try and

straighten out that leg as much as you

can. Pulling up your toes helps kind of

lock everything out when you come up and

then slowly come back down, so it's a

really controlled movement. You're not

just dropping your leg back down. So even

if you don't have any weights, if you go

nice and slow, squeeze at the end, you

really get a good workout in those quad

muscles. If you can do 20 or 25 pretty

easily, then you can add some ankle

weights if you have just something like

a 2-3 pound that works great, and so it

would be the same kind of thing, nice

slow controlled movement. At the end

squeezing, making sure that muscle

tightens, and then slowly come back down.

So once you have the weight on there,

make sure you're not just dropping it

down because that might cause some

injury, really control that movement both

up and down. So start off with just about

10, do a couple sets of 10, and then if

that's pretty easy, the next day then

start working your way up from there.

Then the next one is going to be for

your hip, but it's still working the knee

because they're all connected, so this

time just coming up this movement. So

those hip flexors that are all

kind of connected into the thigh and the

knee, and again that

slow controlled motion up and down. If

that gets pretty easy, again you can add

on that ankle weight and control up and

slowly back down. So even if you want to

do a count of three: one, two, three for

that control, one, two, three. That makes it

a little bit harder so you don't have to

do 20 or 30 before you get tired. If you

go really slow, that's going to really

work those muscles to help get you

stronger. The next exercise is going to

be a simple sit to stand progression. So

to start off with, it's going to be just

like it sounds. You're going to go from

sit to stand, but working on the muscles

instead of using momentum to get up. So

the best way to do that is put your feet

about shoulder width apart. You want them

to stay flat. A lot of times when people

go up and down they try to get on the

balls of their feet, but you want to keep

weight equal in the front and the back

in the heels, so when you come up you

want to lean your upper body forward to

get the weight shifted to the front. So

it's going to be coming up this way, and

then nice and controlled come back down,

but when you come back down to the

sitting, try and keep those knees behind

your toes as well. Sometimes people when

they do a squat try and come down like

this. So when you use the chair, it really

helps you to have a target. So just nice

and slow controlling it, try not to plop

down. Sometimes if you don't have a lot

of strength in the knees and the legs

and the hips, you kind of end up plopping

down, but really try and control that

coming back down getting that nice

smooth motion. If this is pretty easy

coming up and down, then try it without

actually sitting all the way down. So

your bottom is just going to tap the

chair now, but it's still going to be

there, so if you feel like you can't get

all the way back up, you can just sit

back down in the chair. So this time you

come up,

tap down, and then back up. So again still

keep your upper body fairly straight,

you're moving at your hips, you're

pushing your hips back. Like for the

women know, if you're squatting over the

toilet, men might not understand that, but

you really have to get that booty back,

and come back up. But my knees are

staying behind my toes, so it's not this.

It's coming back like that. So once that

becomes easy, then you can do the squats

without touching the chair at all. So

you're just coming down and back up

doing the squats, but I recommend keeping

the chair there just in case you get

tired and you need to sit down, that it's

there just in case, but keeping that good

form, knees behind the toes, back straight,

sticking the butt back, and then coming

down now. If the chair's too low, you can

also add a little box or something to

make it so you don't have to go down as

far. So then you're only squatting to

about here, and then you're tapping

whatever is in the chair so you can do

it building it up and taking it down

lower. If all of those are easy, then you

can go to squatting with one foot. I

suggest with that, if you're going to do

a one leg squat, have a countertop or put

the chair in front of you. So this time

you would want it in front of you

because a lot of times if people are

going to go, they're going to go forward

with the one leg squat versus backwards.

So just on one foot start off slow with

just a little squat there so you don't

have to go super far, but if you feel

like you're going to fall, you've got

something to hold on to, and you can even

start holding on still trying to keep

that knee pretty much behind the toe, and

coming up, and then you can go without

holding on.

The next one's going to be a step-up. For

step-ups, the best thing to do is

actually on a step where there's rails,

so you have something to hold on to for

balance if you need to. You can use just

a step if you've got a box of solid box

of something, some boards to make it

different heights, you can do that

because you might want to start off with

something small just like two inches. So

maybe even if you have a curb somewhere

where you can work on that would be good

too, but just make sure that you're doing

it safely, you have something to hold on

to even if it's a cane or stick or

somebody else, but make sure that if your

balance isn't great, you're using

something to hold on to. With the step up,

same thing, you want it to be controlled.

You don't want to use momentum to do it,

so I like having people start off with

their foot staying on the step the whole

time, but going in that slow controlled

motion where I tell people to count to

three. So you're going to go up one, two,

three, and then down one, two, three. So

it's not just up and down where you're

using momentum, you want to make sure

those muscles are engaging and working

and getting stronger. So again nice and

slow up and slow coming back down. So as

you can see, if you slow it down you're

only going to need to do about ten if

you can get to 20-25 really easily, then

you might want to try a higher step. If

you're having a really hard time, you

feel like you have to jump up on the

step, then make sure you take it back

down to just one or two inches to start

off with. So make sure that it's

something you can do in a controlled

motion, and then go up or down from there.

The last exercise is going to be a lunge. So

for the lunges, having the target is

going to be different for the step ups.

The higher the target is easier, the

smaller the target is going to be a

little bit harder. So if you start off

with the lunges, you might want something

a little higher a box or a little step

in between because you're going to do a

lunge, and if the target is higher you

don't have to go down as far, so you just

want to go

to where your knee kind of touches the

target. So for example, here it's just

tapping on that box, but my upper body

should stay pretty upright and my knee

shouldn't go in front of my toes, so I'm

not doing that lunge motion, I'm going

straight down trying to keep my upper

body fairly straight. So you can see if I

touch the target there, I'm not going all

the way to the floor so if that becomes

easy, all i have to do is take that out

of the way, and then go all the way down

and just tap the floor. But same thing if

the box is too hard then you just keep

building it up and you can start just

from there and have that target to tap

on. So again just starting off with 10

making sure you're going slow and

controlled, switching sides after you do

that, and then working your way up from

there. Whoo! I feel like this guy after all

those exercises. Those were your knee

strengthening exercises. If you'd like to
