Now here the first new tool PolyDisc !!
This tool creates a Circle with a new topology !! do you can see the topology
Do you see 3 subdivisions or 3 axes?, you look at the INPUTs -->
It is in 3 but if I put 4 we observe 4 main axes, 5, 6, etc... until infinity! Hehe
are in the Circle mode, but if i change to the Square mode
we will observe a Triangle because it is in 3 if I put 4 it looks like a Square and so to infinity too hehe

Note that the new topology is called "Pie" w0w !! Use your imagination !! for made new models 3D or
for thousands of uses.. to model complex elements such as the tutorial that I put here
about The Triple Twisted Torus with Holes Type Voronoi !for an example ! or
for future complex modeling tutorials that can look great in the channel

What's new in "Platonic Solid"just one new difference there is with the old version

Now comes a VERY INTERESTING tool !! While I modeling a cube with many of subdivisions !!
I before explaining this tool, there is a new selection method in Maya 2018
Menu > Select > Grow Along Loop or Shrink Along Loop
for those who don´t know "Grow Selection" or "Shrink Selection"
for select push the key ">" for unselect "<" Please see it in the video
The new method select is with "Ctrl" + ">" You will select in cross greek the new selection

I now continue with the new tool, CIRCULARIZE, it's transform a square shape into a circle!!
I am explaining that I have downloaded thousands of Scripts and Plugins to have this tool in my Maya
But well now it is already implanted in Autodesk Maya 2018 At last! and is called CIRCULARIZE!
It´s a very powerful tool and few mins you will see it in the example of the Sphere but firts with the Cube
Only you would select faces that you want to be transformed into a circle! There is nothing else to do!
now click in Circularize and enjoy it !! you have a Circle topology
then i will continue explaining CIRCULARIZE and complicate it with a sphere !! O_o
I make a parenthesis to show us the New Hidden tool!!
If you give the Move tool and you hold the SHIFT key, it makes you an Extrude Fast O_o LOL
I've put the name of Extrude Fast haha but I don't know what it's really called or real name of this tool
but if I now give the tool scale + SHIFT
It makes me a new extrusion with scaling and without displacement !! w0w now I repeat it more times
this works with the tool rotate but i don't know for that use it !! hehe i will need to practice it
This is very fluid for fast and simple extrusions !!
What do you think is the speed fast? I've tested the extrude tool and it works great!
It is going the best that ever and even with curves goes very but very fine
I active the Smoothing mode

You can use Extrude Fast with faces, vertexs or edges !! I miss the tool hidden Move + Ctrl
you have the tool Hidden "Slide", it serves to slide that selected by the surface of the polygonal object
Now for the penultimate improvement that I will teach today
I will create a complex sphere with many subdivisions
I will take a group of faces
in square shape too
for pass those faces to a circular shape inside a curved surface! click in Circularize again
and no longer does it as well as in example the Cube, but it is easily arranged with the Twist as you can see
It is not accurate, but it looks great because the rotation is smooth or slow!

an error is very serious and that they had this error all the scripts that I use for this..
this happens because the curved sphere and the part of the circle is straight !!
I draw a white line so you can see better the error or the problem generated
How can we SOLVE this problem? Hmm hehe Autodesk Maya has thought of this! Hehe
It´s very simple, in the section of Alignment we changed it to surface average for example *^_^*

I'm finishing explaining the other sections of this tool but
you watch I'll make extrusions to see if you notice the circular perforation in the sphere, Ok?
we apply a Smooth and you will observe that we see good the perforation without anything strange
works perfectly and this is very good tool
i give 9,5 points of 10 in total to this tool
