Monster Chest Pump Workout | Jesse Norris And KC Mitchell - Duration: 14:02.

- Oh. Oh, man.

- Yeah, I'll give you a little wiggle room

since you did two chest exercises in the last two days.

- Dude, I'm missing a leg.

You should give me a little bit of room anyway.

- No, no. Fuck you.

(laughs)

(intense music)

- [Jesse] I got to warm up with some little weights.

It's too early.

- [KC] My biggest phrase is no excuses

because I've been told many times

that I shouldn't be doing what I'm doing.

- I'm going to do a few sets incline, a few sets flat.

- [KC] And then do--

- [Jesse] And then go over to the bench.

- That works.

We're building it.

- We've been building it.

We started off with nothing.

- And we have three ideas right now.

- We kind of have an idea of where we're tracking to.

I think we're just trying to figure out

like what we're gonna do.

- Want to do incline, flat? I know we're gonna

do bar bell bench.

You can probably work in some rope stuff,

flies, whatever.

- Okay.

We got a fucking workout plan.

We got a fucking workout plan.

- [Jesse] Two masterminds in here.

Come on.

- That's fine, okay.

- [Jesse] Alright.

- [KC] If you think about it,

you're gonna somewhat start fatiguing yourself

prior to getting to our bench.

You know, so we're actually gonna go train bench

semi-exhausted which I actually like to do

every once in a while because you can

build a lot of strength at that time,

and you get rid of a lot of the stabilizer muscles

and things like that.

So, when you go to the bench, you're really

using a lot of chest.

So, will our benches be our biggest benches?

Absolutely not because the muscles are fatigued.

Doctors have told me that I shouldn't

be squatting, or dead lifting, or moving a lot

of weight like that.

I've been told that it's not possible.

There's no excuse on why I couldn't do that.

Why?

Same thing, three sets of 15 on the flat?

- Yeah.

- [KC] Medically, you're telling me why,

but you can't feel what I can feel.

Excuses are, I feel, something that

somebody is scared of,

or it's very life-changing,

or they just don't know how to do it,

or make that change.

They use an excuse on like, well, this is why.

(thumping music)

If somebody tells me no, you can't do that,

I'm like, I'm gonna show you.

(weights thud)

Alright.

- [Jesse] Done with that bull.

- [Jesse] Throw some weight on there.

Max effort, let's go.

- They got chains over here.

- [KC] Huh?

- They got some chains over here.

- [KC] We can do some chains.

I'm down for that.

(laughs)

- I'll be honest--

- [KC] Make it look like we're doing a lot.

- I've never used chains.

- [KC] Really?

You might like it, too, actually,

with the shoulder being the way it is.

- [Jesse] Yeah, but there's less weight on the bottom.

- [KC] I like it.

Like, you know, you're gonna get that

when you're down in the hole,

all the weights off you kind of a thing, you know.

- Right, right.

- If that's the way, then you get

to use it at the top, you know.

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- [KC] For sure, no excuses is something

that people have fear in.

I'm a very fearless guy.

- 225, or?

- [KC] Yeah.

You know, it's just like with the power lifting thing.

Everybody told me there's no way.

I said why?

That doesn't make sense.

Because it hasn't been done,

or because somebody's not doing it?

Where's the shoulder hurt at, like down in like fully?

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- At the bottom?

- Yeah.

- Even when you close-grip, too?

- Eh, it's not quite as bad, but it's still there.

- [KC] Well, maybe I'm gonna be the one

that sets that bar now, and look,

now I have, and now there's gonna be

amputee's that are doing it.

(weights clang)

- It's like, when I injured it.

I was here.

- [KC] Oh, yeah, so it's tore at the bottom

in the whole.

- Yeah.

- Is it when you went to press, or when you came down?

- [Jesse] Yeah, it was when I went to--

- Like all that, see that's how it was in my hip.

When I went to launch out, that's when,

see you later.

- [Jesse] Ah, shit.

- [KC] From my first meet, my singlet on the back

had no excuses right on the back.

I try to just put that on everybody.

Live life like that.

It's a great thing to live life like that,

where there are no excuses on why

you can't do something,

or why you can't strive to be a better person,

or live life differently.

Don't be afraid.

Just attack.

Set a mission and attack, and conquer the mission

kind of a thing.

It's crazy after doing all those reps

how heavy that feels.

- Yeah, that feels ridiculous.

- 60 reps deep coming into this.

No, more than that, like 70.

- [Jesse] Yeah, after--

- I was a grunt, I don't do math.

(laughs)

- I do math, unfortunately.

- So, it's 90, 90 reps in.

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- [KC] Coming into this.

- [Jesse] See how heavy these chains are.

- [KC] They're probably like 20 pounds.

(chains clang)

You know, I try to add a chain workout,

or a band workout like at least, you know,

once a month each thing, you know,

on each workout that I'm doing.

It just, it helps you get used to holding,

moving heavy weight at a certain point.

- It's not too bad.

- [KC] It allows you to continue to push

like heavy weight, and it's a continuous

weight increase as the weight comes up.

So, you're building a lot of good strength like that.

I've really felt like it's helped a lot

with chain work on the dead lifts.

When I'm pulling 600 off the ground,

but at the top I'm finishing with 640,

when realistically I couldn't pull 640 off the ground,

but I can get it from like knees up.

That's just gonna help with eventually

being able to just pull 640.

(chains clang)

Yeah, seven was a good one.

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- Yeah, it's like perfect.

Pride, ego, kind of both come hand to hand.

Everybody comes here with pride,

and we push it to the limit, especially

with power lifting.

I have failed many, many times.

So, with failing, you have to fail to grow for sure.

You got it, you got it.

Come on, come on, push.

Come on, Jess.

It's that chain work, boy.

- [Jesse] Woo hoo hoo hoo.

- [KC] It's that chain work.

- Oh, fuck.

(laughs)

- That's a crazy feeling, huh.

- Yeah, my lat cramped up, too.

That's even better.

- That's a crazy feeling.

That's what that chain's supposed to do right there.

- [Jesse] Oh, boy.

- Oh, man.

- Yeah, I'll give you a little wiggle room

since you did two chest exercises in the last two days.

- Dude, I'm missing a leg.

You should give me a little room anyway.

- Nah, no, fuck you.

(laughs)

- I don't ever get to use the handicap card, man.

- No sympathy.

- [KC] No sympathy.

- [Jesse] Two, three.

(chains clang)

Yeah.

Yeah, let's go, push.

Come on, come on.

Up, up, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive.

Come on, come on.

- That's good.

Jesse Norris didn't beat me.

So, we're good.

I felt that third one, I'm like oh, hell no, no.

Everything I had, man, on number four

to make sure I got that one.

(laughs)

I just recently put up a little thing

on my Instagram where I wanted to do step-ups.

It was a high step-up, and I had 225 pounds on my back.

I went to go step up, and if you watch the video,

you see, like, I back off it like I'm scared

because I'm about to go up here and try to step

with 225 pounds.

If I fall, it's gonna, there's something bad can happen.

What do you want?

You want 60?

You want 50?

Or 40?

- Ah, fuck, 10.

- [KC] And then the pride came into play.

Then I sat back.

I got my mind right, and what did I do?

I went and did it.

If I wouldn't have attempted it,

I would've actually never done it when I did.

Finally, I just decided to do it, and I did it.

I got up there and what did I do?

I didn't do it for one time, I did it two times.

- [Jesse] I did 12.

- [KC] Does that weight feel good, or what?

Feels fine?

- [Jesse] Feels fine.

- [KC] How do you know what your limits are

if you're too scared to fail?

Failing doesn't make you weak.

It makes you stronger at the end of the day

because you just now gave yourself a goal.

Now you're gonna work at 110% to next time

when that day comes, or that weight comes,

or that whatever, repetition, or whatever it is that comes,

you're gonna do it.

That's good.

- Is that a good weight?

- [KC] Yeah, I like that.

We can go up, though.

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- [KC] Wanna keep going up?

- We can do 60.

I was here, and you're coming up higher.

- Yeah, cause I just try to hit the upper chest,

cause my upper chest is weak.

So, I'm just really trying to focus on that.

- Okay.

- Hany yelled at me about that.

She told me like make sure you get that upper chest.

So, I've been like as much as I can.

Every time I do chest, I really want to focus

on the upper chest part.

- [Jesse] Okay.

- What he told me like, when you keep the chin up

and you come across, keeping the chin up

helps really focus on the, cause everything else

is fine, it's just here.

(intense music)

So, I have this thing with like,

I say it's why die and be forgotten.

To me, if your living, and you're living life,

and you're trying to make a difference with yourself,

but at the same time, while you're trying

to make a difference with yourself,

you're changing people's lives.

It's not just in your family,

it's people that can see you.

(intense music)

(sighs)

You wanna do like a drop set on this one?

- I'll do 10.

- [KC] 20, 30?

Yup.

(intense music)

40, right?

- [Jesse] Yeah.

(intense music)

- [KC] There you go.

(sighs)

(intense music)

Boom.

Alright, good workout.

I'm outta here.

(laughs)

I think of these ideas, but I don't do it,

and then I'm like why did I decide to do this?

That's how it always is.

I like have these great ideas,

and I'm like dude, we gotta do this.

- Dude, this is gonna be so good.

- I'm like, who thought of this shit.

What I've noticed with my life is that

any time I have thought about something,

one, if I didn't do it, then I probably never did it.

You literally just have to do it.

Going to the gym the first time sucks.

Same thing, you know, when I joined the military,

I was like dang, I gotta leave my family.

But, if you do it like that, you live like that extreme

to where you just do it, a lot of times

a positive thing comes right behind it.

It's the same thing, like I tell people like,

yeah, at the beginning of the year, I'm gonna start the gym.

Well, why would you not wanna start now?

It's October.

You get a few months ahead of the game

on reaching your goals a little bit faster

than starting in January.

Don't set a long term goal.

Set short term ones that can turn into long term ones.

My thing was I'm gonna get off the pills immediately.

Boom.

Down the road after that, I'm gonna go to the gym.

Then, once I'm in the gym, I'm like okay,

now I wanted to get myself into motivating people

and fitness.

It's just a positive trail that keeps going

and small goals have turned into bigger goals,

and more positive and better things have come

out of my life with it.

(sighs)

- [Jesse] Let's go.

(breathes hard)

- That's good.

- Feels pumped.

I gotta say, I think my chest is bigger

than it's ever been.

- Yeah.

- Ah, feels good.

We'll do one set of the ladders, and that's it.

- [Jesse] Ladders, huh?

- Yeah, I'll show you this.

This is for Hany.

(laughs)

I always try to, at the end of my workouts,

get a real good pump in like the muscles

that I just trained.

Anytime you can break down muscle,

force the blood in there, it creates muscle breakdown

which therefore creates growth,

but also at the same time creates rehab as well.

Lifting and doing all this, it's mental.

So, if we can build a strong mind,

then we can build a strong body without a doubt.

Squeeze here, hold it and squeeze, come on.

I have been on the most amazing wave right now.

The thing is, I've been continuing to do this,

and it's building me into a better person as I do it.

One more squeeze and hold, squeeze, good.

See that body shaking?

That's what we want.

That's for you, Hany.

That shit's brutal, though, huh?

Yeah.

- Let's go.

- [KC] I'm seeing the people that I'm reaching,

and the people's lives that I'm changing.

Whether it be this awesome gym guy,

or this girl that's overweight, or this guy

that's an amputee like me, or young kids

coming up through high school that wanna learn

how to get stronger here, just whatever,

the genres of people that I'm reaching is incredible.

I don't know what's next for me.

I just know that I like doing what I'm doing.

- [Jesse] Squeeze, let's go.

Go.

- [KC] So, I love motivating people physically,

but I want to try to motivate people mentally as well.

- [Jesse] Squeeze, come on.

That's one.

Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze, squeeze, good.

Alright.

- Good.

- [Jesse] I barely saw you shaking.

(laughs)

We need to up the weight.

- Well, we started out kind of lackadaisical,

but just took a minute to get us pumped up.

- [Jesse] Yeah.

- [KC] That was a good workout, though.

- [Jesse] Yeah, it was a great chest workout.

- Yeah, so, there you go.

LEGO Star Wars Jedi & Clone Troopers Battle Pack review! 75206 - Duration: 7:40.

a'ready this is the Lego Star Wars Jedi and clone troopers battle pack this is

set very early on in the Clone Wars euro it's been a while since any phase one

clone troopers were made so this is nice to get more of those for folks who are

fans of that Europe I personally prefer the Phase two design but you know these

definitely were iconic to certain battles and certain eras and of course a

lot of folks who like these are more into the or were more into or are still

in more into the Clone Wars animated TV series which was itself very good they

only come with the stud shooters here no regular blasters still feel that Lego

should give fans a little bit of a win in including also some regular blasters

with these battle pack sets because there are small pieces you only need a

couple of them for for a set like this that only has two blaster equipped

figures and it would just make a lot of people happy without removing anything

in terms of the play value of the stud shooters themselves underneath these

helmets are angry clones that is perfect I'm so glad that they used the angry

clone hint there because that's what they were made for and it's perfect all

of these folks were clones of course so they should all have the same face and

this is absolutely ideal this is Barriss offee I'm assuming from

before the whole Jedi Temple bombing thing I'm just assuming just just a

guess they're a well-done figure this is except for the paint application on the

hilt of the lightsaber it's like a lot of the chromed or kind of pseudo chromed

light silver coated ones have been where it's just not completely solid but the

print on that torso looks really good it's subtle because it is you know dark

on dark but it looks really good to me the face looks really good there's an

alternate face to be seen here as well but the most interesting thing about

this to me is the inclusion of this lower piece which replaces the

standard inclusion of just a regular slope so this is kind of nicely shaped

you know it has a nice smooth curve and that curve goes very nicely

transitioning right up to the flat torso and get some print on the back of the

torso as well which is just as good as the print on the front the one thing

that I don't like about this piece is that it's designed to use a minimal

amount of plastic it's very thin and that makes it very light that means it

doesn't provide much counterbalance for the lightsaber so this is easier to

knock forward than usual there's the alternate face which is interesting in

that it's not strictly an angry face or you know a mean face or a straining face

kind of a an in battle face you can use this to represent you know strike being

made or something but you could also see it as kind of a smile you know like just

a kind of a serious face in general but then smiling so I think it has dual

purposes in that way there's just a clearer look at the standard face which

I think looks good as well and then here's ki-adi-mundi the wise old

conehead himself has pretty good looking prints all the way through lined up

pretty well from the torso to the hips to the legs so that's pretty nice looks

like he's ready to do some battle the specialized head add-on piece fits

pretty well and I think that the choice of color and also the style of

application for the print on the back of the head works works well too to kind of

suggest the continuation of the horizontal lines you know where you

don't have the ability to get the mold but I think from this lighting that I

have right here where everything is really bright and fairly even it looks a

little bit more different you know going from the mold of the top down to the the

print here but under normal circumstances I think it all kind of

blends just a little bit better when you get a little bit more shadow in those

those little ridges in there you get you know to paint applications with the

white and the black for the hair the top not there and of course he does not get

an alternate face because if he did well yeah well you can see yeah you get it

you get it and then for the actual build you get this supposedly speeder which

has very very strong kind of micro fighter republic gunship la 80 vibes

going on with it I could I could see this as having been

like an original classic Kenner mini vehicle take on a Imperial gunship you

know just to have a smaller vehicle based on that design to be able to sell

it a lower price but it only holds one person unfortunately would have been

much nicer in my opinion if they had included a way a simple way to put the

second clone trooper on there on here I mean they did include two clone troopers

in the set so why not give us the ability to put both of them on to the

so-called speeder this has a couple of stud shooters at the front you can also

use these of course as as turrets just turn those are a little bit stiff the

way they're attached there but you can rotate those around the the wings are

slanted down an angle but you can also bring them up to the horizontal you can

also bring them up beyond that starts to look like one of those wookie gunships

relatively to me the green right there the green plates on the sides just keep

the the wings from going down too far and just has a single engine on the back

and that's that you can get a little bit easier access to put in the figure in

taking it out just by moving the canopy forward but that's really just that so

it's intended to be just a single person attack speeder and I think it looks

pretty cool I think it's good for a play just would have been better if there was

a second seat that's about it for this set again I'm happy for fans of the

phase one clone troopers that those are available again the two Jedi figures are

good not that big of a fan of that lower piece for Barris I mean it does look

good in terms of its shape but really could have used a little bit more weight

there because yeah with a lightsaber out it really does come very close to

wanting to fall forward other than that I think it looks really good

speeder yeah could have used a second seat but it looks pretty good and I

think it's just ready for some customization I mean you can easily just

take off this grille piece if you want put a second

trooper up there you know do some other customizations and make it a little bit

better to taste as it is it's a fine toy and the overall set is pretty good it's

just not perfect in my opinion so there you go those are my thoughts thanks for

watching I'll talk to you soon

UNFOLDING: Supreme Court Justice Called For Repeal Of Second Amendment! - Duration: 5:17.

UNFOLDING: Supreme Court Justice Called For Repeal Of Second Amendment!

Things are heating up after the mass shooting at a Parkland high school in Florida revved

the ignition on the anti-gun movement, and spawned the "March For Our Lives" protest

as a wicked chess move by the Democratic party.

Students from, or in support of, those at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School,

marched and held up signs that displayed numerous false narratives, inaccurate sayings, and

simply lacked facts.

The movement has sparked a national debate about gun control, exploitation of children

to push an agenda, and now something else has crawled out of the liberal bag of tricks.

This next trick, performed by retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, has some

Americans questioning the Second Amendment.

The rest of the country is questioning the man's sanity, but that comes as part and

parcel of proposing radicalized scenarios that punish the law-abiding citizens of America.

Former Justice Stevens talked about repealing the Second Amendment.

He's 97-years-old and targeted the National Rifle Association in his written suggestion

in hopes to weaken the gun club and block those who wish to form a force against those

who wish to control guns.

In other words, it sounds like former Justice Stevens would like to participate in knocking

on doors and confiscating guns from people who've committed no crime, rendering families

defenseless against enemies foreign and domestic – mostly domestic, of course.

Many people claim that speaking for gun control is not a gun grab, but that's ultimately

what many people worry about.

Every step of gun control can lead closer to gun confiscation.

If that ever happens, then the only people who have guns would be criminals and the government.

Every day hardworking Americans would be left defenseless towards any intruders or criminals

trying to harm or rob them.

NPR reported more on Justice Stevens: "In an op-ed in Tuesday's New York Times, the

97-year-old Stevens writes that a constitutional amendment "to get rid of" the Second Amendment

"would do more to weaken the N.R.A.'s ability to stymie legislative debate and block

constructive gun control legislation than any other available option."

The Second Amendment states that "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the

security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be

infringed."

Stevens called that concern "a relic of the 18th century" and says repealing it

would eliminate the only legal rule that protects sellers of firearms in the United States.

Stevens, who retired from the court in 2010, had two years earlier dissented in District

of Columbia v. Heller, which determined the Second Amendment allowed an individual right

to bear arms.

Stevens says he remains convinced that decision was wrong and debatable and provided the National

Rifle Association with "a propaganda weapon of immense power."

Stevens' call for repeal of the Second Amendment goes further than most gun control advocates,

many of whom have called for banning certain types of weapons and establishing stricter

background checks and age limits but for not changing the Constitution."

Many gun owners won't mind banning certain people from gaining weapons, but not all people

or guns should be banned.

With the staggering amount of guns in the country and gun owners who commit no crimes,

there's no point to punish those who have done no wrong while allowing the criminals

to run freely with their weapons.

Criminals don't follow laws and they won't follow any sort of repeal done to the Second

Amendment.

It's not likely possible that a major gun grab could ever happen because the number

of guns in America would be seemingly impossible to collect.

The number of people who would resist a gun grab would ultimately fight back with the

government and spark a major civil war, one which no God loving American would appreciate.

The only people who would benefit from a gun grab is criminals who don't follow the law

which would put many people in danger as the criminals do as they please knowing that people

are unable to protect themselves.

Former Justice Stevens must not remember that criminals don't follow laws and that people

would be in danger if the only people who had weapons are the criminals and the government

who could do whatever they want to citizens at that point.

The 1930's saw Hitler come to power and disarm people.

He was a gun grabber who convinced thousands of people to commit horrible crimes.

What they did after disarming the Jewish population was one of the most horrifying events in history.

It was so bad that people can not ever let that happen again and to disarm the public

would be one of the worst ideas that could ever happen in America.

Americans who follow laws deserve to purchase weapons if that's what they like to do.

Americans with mental health conditions, criminal backgrounds, or even questionable backgrounds

should probably not be permitted to purchase weapons.

If people can't follow the laws or suffer from mental health issues, then arming them

is not a good idea and that's something that everyone can agree with.

Disarming everyone, for the crimes of the few, is not something anyone should ever agree

on.

STUDY CONFIRMS PUTTING KIDS TO BED EARLIER IS BETTER FOR MOTHER'S MENTAL HEALTH - Duration: 3:03.

STUDY CONFIRMS PUTTING KIDS TO BED EARLIER IS BETTER FOR MOTHER'S MENTAL HEALTH

A lady made a joke about her pregnancy time when father of her friend congratulated her

and speculated you will sleep again.

She took him lightly and hoped her kid would be different but after having two healthy

and demanding kids, she found to the mother's mental health-related myth behind it.

She found toughest aspects of her parenting life managing two children while having training

exercises.

The routinely sleep is the best option she got to relieve off.

Early to Bed is the Best Way for Everyone Involved

Bedtime battles are worth fighting if you set your routine early to bed and early to

rise.

When kids go to bed early, they would be healthier and the mother will be happy and mentally

well.

This is not only a speculation but a study in Australia has proved it scientifically

and empirically.

They engaged thousands of families across the country since 2004 and after every two

years, they conduct detailed interviews to find their mental and physical health.

Analysis of their lifestyle and routine suggests children who sleep by 8: 30 pm are healthier

and supportive of mother's mental health than those who stay up late.

Kids Who go to Sleep earlier Tend to Sleep Longer (Obviously!)

Apparently, it is a myth that kids go to bed early sleep for long but practically it may

not be true as kids do not have regular patterns of sleep.

But if they continue to set to sleep early, they can make it better than anyone else and

will eventually soothe their mother's mental health by giving her some personal time.

The US National Institute of Health has presented a chart for sleep hours which is believed

How to Set Kids early to Bed?

According to National Sleep Foundation, before bed screen time is much needed to limit and

children should not interact with blue light emitted from screens.

It can delay the sleep-inducing melatonin increasing alertness.

The digital curfew for kids would be far better for their health and let them easily sleep

early.

The national sleep foundation has recommended consistent bedtime routine without any digitals.

It would be better for kids to make them read a book or such non-digital creative activity

because it not only helps them to sleep early but increase the sleep hours, eventually making

them healthy.

It must be noted by all the parents that the health of their child is a key to their happiness

and good physical and mental health.

if the kid gets ill, you have to awake with him and take care of him while sleeping and

in this very unfortunate time, the mother could not get any time for her own self and

will end up being fatigued and tired physically and mentally.

The kid would be good after some time but through what mother had been gone have long-lasting

effects even on the baby too.

Set everyone early to bed and early to rise and be happy.

STVORE - Brosay Shturval [Drop the Handwheel] - Russian Industrial-Omni-Metal - Duration: 4:38.

Among the burning mountains

Pulsations of blood of the earth

Fiery locks have called

from beneath the blue wave's foam

A moan of quetly beckoning depths craving a fulcrum

A crack cutting with light on the knees of a black hole

Stop a few moments before

And don't regret it

You think there is no choice?

A voice in your ears demanding to drop the wheel

This is only a deception

The gates are loose

Dive in with your head

A tight grip took you down into a downflow

While futily jeking the emergency brake

You can forget the control

Time and time again the thirst grips and chokes

While fury throws you forward

A dying lurch to the south

It's going to eat you right away

Stop a few moments before

And don't regret it

You think there is no choice?

A voice in your ears demanding to drop the wheel

This is only a deception

The gates are loose

Dive in with your head

You think there is no choice?

You think this is a deception

Although we're racking up the awards for our ice cream, and more specifically our soft

serve, through the years, in the last two years' time we've even been nominated

for Best Hamburger.

Yes.

An ice cream stand.

Hamburgers.

Best hamburgers in Dutchess County.

You heard that right.

Actually, in January 2017 our Instagram shot of the cross-section of our Monster Burger

was scouted for use in an upcoming Food TV Network project, entitled at the time as "The

Kitchen Sink."

True story, and we DO have the emails to prove it!

But trust me, our regular burgers steal the show on the regular, as we can serve 100 or

more a day…sometimes 100 or more a shift!

Not bad for a wee little mom and pop establishment, right?

You don't get that popular for something that originally had nothing to do with your

business' origins by serving up boring old burgers, though.

But what makes Joe's Dairy Bar and Grill hamburgers just…so…good?

STEP 1: Where's the Beef?

Oh, here it is!

We start with fresh beef burgers.

NOTHING is frozen.

They're hand formed on campus by our staff and individually weighed to be sure each bundle

of beef is a true quarter pounder.

And, sure, it can't hurt that our hamburgers are often sharing the flat-top with bacon…because

people are ordering stuff that includes bacon all the time, as you might imagine.

Which leads us to….

STEP 2: Flipping on the Flat Top

Our hamburgers are made on a flat top as opposed to a raised grill.

There may be no charcoal grill marks, BUT we feel that a flat top seals in the juices

and allows for a nice tasty char coating.

To us and to our many customers, this kicks the flavor notes up a bunch of notches.

Plus having a well-seasoned flat top like ours makes all the difference.

We're talking sixteen years in the making for this particular piece of equipment.

That may have everything to do with those extra flavor notes that true hamburger lovers

detect as they dive into their dish.

It also may also have everything to do with why your burgers on YOUR flat top OR someone

else's don't taste the same way hamburgers do.

STEP 3: Burger Break

Another thing that we do when we're making our burgers for you on our delicious grill

is this: we give the burgers a break!

Meaning we're not flipping them too many times while we're cooking them.

We're not poking and prodding them a bunch of times.

When you do that, the burgers crumble OR they're just not as juicy.

When you make your hamburgers at home, try not to be so rough with them.

Let them rest more and prod them less.

You'll see a difference!

STEP 4: Better Buns

We do offer gluten free hamburger buns for those that want or need them, but by default

our hamburgers are nestled between a buttered and toasted potato bun.

We've found that using such buns makes for a better overall taste experience.

Plain white bread is…well…plain.

And sad.

And sadness and ice cream stands don't mix!

STEP 5: Toppings for the Win

We've found that the type of toppings one uses to crown their burgers makes a HUGE difference.

Our toppings are fresh made and can be locally sourced.

For example, our eggs are farm-fresh, often from local farms that deliver them to us.

Don't think THAT doesn't make a difference, folks.

It totally does!

Look at those gorgeous buns and toppings just waiting for our yummy hamburgers to meet up

with them!

We believe in super fresh hamburgers, toppings, buns…the works!

We package everything with care…

Because they're going to make someone's tummy do a happy dance.

We take pride in serving up Dutchess County's best hamburgers and now you know some of the

things that go into making them the very best that you can get for your money.

Hamburger Heaven

OK, part of any relationship—even when it involves foodies and their hamburgers—involves

keeping things fresh and sometimes even spicy.

That's why we don't just have regular hamburgers and cheeseburgers at Joe's Dairy

Bar and Grill.

We offer all sorts of creative burger creations!

And even things that are hot temperature-wise, let alone hot and trendy.

We've got weekly specials that keep things as fresh as the beef we use for our burgers.

So down in the comments section down below I'd love to know…what's YOUR favorite

burger?

Is it a regular hamburger?

A cheeseburger?

Or something wild?

hamburger bliss for our customers, but do YOU have a way to save big once you come to

Batch balancing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations - Duration: 10:55.

Batch balancing is a process where the amount of ingredients to use in a production batch

is calculated from the concentration of active ingredients in selected product batches.

To get an understanding of this, let's take a closer look at a formula that has been set up for batch balancing.

This formula consists of 4 ingredients A, B, C and D.

For making 100 liters of a finished product, 20 liters of ingredient A is needed,

30 liters of ingredient B, 10 liters of ingredient C, and 40 liters of ingredient D.

Each line has an ingredient type. The Active type indicates that the ingredient,

in this case item number B, is set up to have a concentration of an active ingredient.

Let's navigate to the product to see how the active ingredient is set up.

The active ingredient is modelled with the use of a product-specific attribute.

A product-specific attribute has a minimum, a maximum, and a target level.

The target level represents the estimated concentration of the active ingredient in percent.

The maximum and the minimum value represent the accepted deviation from the target

and can, for example, be used as an accepted tolerance at product receipt.

A product can only have one active ingredient, so after defining the product-specific batch attribute,

it needs to be classified as the active ingredient of the product.

This is done by associating the product-specific batch attribute as a base attribute to the product.

Here is the base attribute for the product.

Here it is also set up how the batch attribute value is typically recorded;

as part of the purchase receipt process or as part of the quality order management process.

I will now navigate back to the formula to explain the use of the remaining ingredient types.

The type Compensating compensates the quantity of the active ingredient.

The relationship between an active ingredient and a compensating ingredient is set with a compensating principle.

The relation between an active ingredient and a compensating ingredient is set with a compensating principle.

As you can see, you need to point to the active ingredient you want to compensate. In the compensating principle, you also specify a factor.

If the factor is positive, it is indicated that a higher quantity of the compensating ingredient is needed,

if the active ingredient has a higher concentration than the target value.

This is called a compensating principle with a complementary effect.

If the factor is negative, it is indicated that a lower quantity of compensating ingredient is needed

if the active ingredient has a higher concentration than the target value.

This is called a compensating principle with an opposing effect.

The Filler type is used for an ingredient that is neutral.

This type is typically used to reach the desired output quantity of the finished product.

Adjustments to the filler quantities are calculated based on variations in the active and compensating ingredients.

The type None indicates that the amount of ingredient used in a production batch will be independent

of the concentration of the amount of active ingredients in the selected batches.

In this example, ingredient B, C, and D are all set up for the warehouse management processes, whereas ingredient A is not.

Now, let's go to a batch order and go through batch balancing process.

Now, let's go to a batch order and go through batch balancing process.

Here is a batch order for making 100 liters of a finished good.

The batch order formula shows the ingredients.

The batch order is in the Estimated status.

I'm now going to release the order.

After the batch order is released, an infolog indicates that no materials were released to the warehouse.

This is because the batch order is applicable for batch balancing.

A batch order is applicable for batch balancing when it has at least one item in the formula with the ingredient type Active.

These types of orders are released to warehouse as part of the batch balancing process.

When starting the batch order, the menu item for batch balancing is enabled.

When selecting Batch balancing, the Batch balancing page is opened.

This page gives an overview of the formula ingredients.

When I select the row for the active ingredient B, I see the available batches in the inventory in the lower section of the page.

In this case there are two available batches that are on-hand.

Batch B1 has a concentration of 35 percent, which exceeds the target value of 30.

Batch B2 has a concentration of 25 percent and is lower than target.

I can select the batches I want to use for the batch order.

Let's try to select batch B1;

After I have selected the batch, I can now select the Batch balance ingredients menu item and make the batch balancing calculation.

The balanced quantities for the ingredients have now been calculated.

The balanced quantity for the active ingredient B is 25.71, which is lower than the estimated quantity of 30.

Because batch B1 has a higher concentration than the target value, a lower quantity is needed.

The balanced quantity of the compensating ingredient is 14.72, and higher than the estimated quantity of 10.

This indicates that the compensating principle between the active and the compensating ingredient is complementary.

A higher concentration than target requires more compensating ingredient.

The quantity of the filler ingredient is a little less than the estimated amount. The quantity of the filler ingredient is adjusted so the sum of the balanced quantities

for the ingredients equals the batch size of 100 liters.

After the calculation of the balanced quantities has been processed, the ingredients can now be released to warehouse. I do that by selecting

the menu item Confirm and release to warehouse.

The ingredients enabled for the warehouse management processes will be released to warehouse.

For the ingredients not enabled for the warehouse management processes, a picking list journal will be created. I can now confirm the dialog box.

Let's first look at the resulting warehouse work.

Here is the work for the three ingredients B, C, and D.

Notice, that the work contains the batch number that was selected in the batch balancing process for ingredient B.

Now let's look at the picking list journal for ingredient A.

Now let's look at the picking list journal for ingredient A.

Here is the picking list journal created for the non-warehouse enabled

item for ingredient A.

The batch balancing process has been completed and the batch order can now be processed.
