War Thunder: Т-64B vs M1 Abrams - Duration: 7:32.

Do you hear the roar of engines?

Do you see these deadly guns?

That's right: today we are comparing the mightiest machines of update 1.77.

In the red corner — the Soviet T-64 «Bravo».

In the left corner — the American MBT called the M1 Abrams.

Both vehicles sit at a battle rating of 9.3, that's as high as you can get.

Which machine makes for a better tank?

Let's start with the looks.

The Abrams is a bit higher and a bit longer.

The size of the Soviet tank isn't as impressive, but at least it has great camo...

Joking aside, in the first round the winner is the T-64B.

It gets...a half of a point.

Why just a half?

These vehicles aren't that different when it comes to size,

it's just that the T-64 has a smaller turret, which is much easier to hide.

O-kay: the T-64B opens the scoring with a glorious half of a point

and we move on to some mobility tests.

Ready...steady...go!

The Abrams immediately takes the lead.

It only takes 12 seconds and a 1519 hp engine to get this 54 ton beast to 50 kmph

And that's when driving on rough terrain.

Great performance!

The T-64B does its best...but fails to impress.

Even though it's 15 tons lighter, its 700hp engine allows it to get only to 40 kmph

And that's in 13 seconds.

What about going in reverse? Not that we will need it...of course we will need it!

The American machine wins again.

40 kmph in four seconds.

The T-64 gets to four kmph in one second.

and that's it. Just four kmph.

Can't go faster than that. Okay.

Maybe the situation will change when we check the time needed to turn around? Nope.

The American is still in the lead.

Flawless victory — and two well-earned points. 0.5:2.

Now let's see how much destruction can these two cause.

The T-64B carries an impressive 125mm 2A46M gun.

The American machine has an equally deadly 105mm M68A1 gun.

O-kay. What about shells?

Here's where the Soviet tank starts to shine.

The top tier 3BM22 APFSDS at 100 metres penetrates up to 470 mm of armour.

The rival's M774 round can only pierce up to 410 mm.

Apart from that, the T-64 can also use HEATs and HE rounds.

the Abrams — HEATs, HESH rounds as well as M416 smoke rounds.

Sounds like a draw, right?

Wrong: the Soviet beast also carries five 9M112 ATGMs

that penetrate up to 650 mm of armour!

That kind of power is nothing to sneeze at!

A few words about reload speed.

It takes the Abrams five seconds to reload; the T-64 — 7.1 seconds!

What about turret traverse speed?

The American machine is still in the lead:

40 degrees per second in comparison with the T-64's 24 degrees per second.

We think that it is fair if the T-64 gets two points for its shells and ATGMs

while the Abrams gets a point for a better reload times and faster turret rotation.

2.5:3 in favour of the American team.

The next thing to compare is the survivability of the vehicles.

The T-64B has a crew of three: a commander, a gunner and a driver.

The Abrams has no auto-loader, so it gets an extra crew member — a loader.

Now let's take a look at armour.

The lower front plate of the American machine has 380 mm of protection against kinetic munitions

and 600 mm against HEATs.

The upper front plate has only 190 mm, but, let's say, it's not the simplest of tasks to hit it.

The T-64B has comparable defences.

For example, the armour face has 440 mm of protection against kinetic energy projectiles

And 440 mm against HEAT rounds.

When it comes to turrets, though, it gets a bit more complex.

The turret of the Soviet tank has 440 mm of protection against kinetic munitions

and 500 mm against HEAT rounds.

But the turret of the Abrams is also protected from the sides.

It's not much, but in combat every small thing counts.

Furthermore, the American mantlet has better protection, despite its considerable size.

Moreover, the Abrams has blowout panels, a huge advantage, actually.

They might save your life if an enemy hits the ammo stored in the rear of the turret.

The last things to check are secondary armaments and additional equipment.

Both tanks have AA capability with their 12.7mm machine guns,

both can create smoke screens.

Let's see…

The Soviet machine gets a point.

The American tank gets a point and a half

for an extra crew member and the blowout panels.

It's time to strike a balance, isn't it?

T-64B: 3.5 points.

The Abrams: four!

Despite having an impressive array of shells, the T-64B requires you to be a bit more careful.

and the sluggish reverse and slow reload speed mean that you simply don't have much room for error when engaging an enemy.

Do you agree?

Tell us in the comments below...and see you in battle!

Pedro Pascal cast in Wonder Woman 2 - Duration: 6:11.

so last night many of us geeked out about Pedro Pascal being cast in Wonder

Woman too but now that it's the morning after and our fan goggles have faded

away it's time to get real both about who he's likely playing and if it really

is a good idea to cast him in the sequel so first his role is indeed top-secret

but nevertheless I think I figured out who he's playing now when the news first

broke many of you had excellent guesses on Twitter my favorite guesses of yours

being Hades and Vandal Savage I was like oh I'd be happy with either one of those

beyond happy thrilled then I thought well what are some other good guesses he

could be playing Hermes Orion of the new gods a human agent working with Diana in

the 1980s it could be that simple maybe even the god

Kirk Earth's Curt Agha boy that's gonna be hard to say in the movie I maybe they

can give him a nickname but that's the god who's responsible for turning dr.

Barbara and Minerva into cheetah but as I looked for options I stumbled across

the obvious one and that is Deimos who is Deimos well Deimos is the son of

Aphrodite and Ares Oh apparently revenge is a dish best served during the Cold

War and on that note in the comics Deimos tried to incite a war between the

United States and the Soviet Union which moon it's just what Wonder Woman 2 is

about and I do like the idea of Diana going up against another child of the

gods plus their that's a good way to get around Ares haven't killed all the

originals in the first film right it works it works actually really well and

yes you're seeing a picture correctly Deimos sometimes does have snakes for

hair rockin the Medusa style talk about 80s hair right plus plus Deimos and his

brother Phobos hang out in the underworld

sometimes where I think we all suspect Steve Trevor is currently hanging out

well it's it's back in time but that's where we think he ends up of course

after the first film and I've heard from several sources that Steve isn't

returning for the sequel so maybe another God wants to throw a monkey

wrench in the situation as they do love to do that and maybe that will give us a

love triangle for at least part of the movie I can totally see that

all right so story wise it's just looking pretty pretty solid

I don't know how Cheetahs gonna factor into all this I mean you would think

cheetah would be the main bad and Mandy I don't know maybe she is and you know

Deimos would be a behind the scenes situation although they already did that

with Ares you think Diana would be wise to that plan by now she's like go and

check the politicians fast all right so anyway I asked whether or not he's good

to cast in the film well creatively I think yes and it's

what have you pointed out I thought this was great he's pretty darn good with a

lasso himself so that would be hilarious they could have a lasso off plus I think

he seems like a very good fit with gal gadot herself you know whose two actors

and fans always do enjoy his work including on Game of Thrones which gives

him quite the pop-culture credibility stamp but let's be honest with ourselves

as good as he is so far Pedro Pascal cannot sell tickets Kingsman - I think

his biggest role to date both in terms of the project and his screen time

barely cracked the century mark stateside I'd had to rely even more

heavily on its overseas box office than the first film did they ended up though

and about the same level box-office watts

although Wonder Woman was soft overseas so maybe Pedro Pascal will help in that

department I'm being very kind assuming that he was what helped it overseas I

don't think so I think it was the you know the the franchise and the idea of

Kingsman and the original cast but maybe his agent was able to sell that in the

room although we'll talk about Pedro Pascal and patty Jenkins connection in

just a moment methinks he didn't need a hard sell and

then it's another one of you tweeted though Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig is

seeming very TV like and it does indeed seem like the sequel is lacking in star

power but then again the first Wonder Woman didn't exactly have a lot of star

power as much as we all have Chris Pine he's actually a similar situation where

for the most part his movies don't do well either and Wonder Woman too did

really well at the box office anyway go maybe it's Gul who is the draw which

I can totally see and maybe bigger names maybe we're not we're not seeing what's

really happening here and that's just like we're talking about behind the

camera in front of the camera they can't get any bigger names to join the DC EU

right now even for its crown jewel they're like yeah I'll be in Wonder

Woman too but then you might force me to be in another DCEO movie so that could

be very much the situation this might be the best that they can get although with

Wonder Woman too suspiciously everyone is a friend of patty Jenkins who's

joining the sequel Pedro Pascal they've worked together their pals Kristen Wiig

was her idea which she pushed very hard and many of us have problems with we

just don't see it patty and then also she infamously in my opinion got rid of

you know I think this is an infamous move got rid of Allan Heinberg and

replaced him with a writer friend of hers what her brother's is placing an

awful lot of faith that a woman who didn't make the first movie all by

herself she even admitted she would never have cast gonca dog I don't know

why she would admit that that seems ridiculous to me but thank goodness she

was in charge of casting Wonder Woman I hope we won't be saying I wish that

someone else had cast the rest of these roles we'll have to see if that faith is

well-placed although you know what happens when you take on full

responsibility for a project Robert Downey jr. learned that the hard way and

I think Ryan Reynolds you know I Deadpool to while I think it looks good

is projected to open about 30 million less right now than the first Deadpool

so oh alright so what do you think of the Patriot Pascal casting and how

Wonder Woman 2 is coming together do you think he's Deimos I think that's a

really solid guess all right write your thoughts down below and of course as

always you can check out some more videos right now

Scientists Create First-Ever 3D Model of a Melting Snowflake - Duration: 2:44.

For the first time ever, scientists have created a 3D model of melting snowflake

3D modelling coupled with new research about melting snowflake behavior

serve as one of the first steps for creating better precipitation models

used for weather forecasting and climate modeling in the future.

We've actually known how to measure the size and shape of snow particles for a while

But visualizing how a snowflake melts?

That was only achieved in the last couple years

Actually, by this guy – based at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California

probably one of the least snowy places in the United States

Nobody else was really doing it and I kind of had a good hunch that it could be done

In the past, researchers have adopted some pretty creative methods to catch snowflakes

like using spider webs to net the delicate crystalline structures

in order to watch their melt behavior

But I don't like the thought of writing this research proposal

where I ask for money to breed spiders

Understanding the microphysics of a melting snowflake has significant implications

About 66% of rain starts as snow higher in the atmosphere

And that layer of melting snow can, among other things

affect weather patterns, block radio signals, and be a hazard to aircraft

The hydrodynamics are actually particularly complex and completely different

from the characteristics of rain or even snow that hasn't started melting yet

which is what prompted an entirely separate body of research

The team created mathematical models that simulate a melting snowflake in nature

allowing researchers to study its behavior in a controlled environment

It turns out that the degree of riming has a major influence on the melting process

Riming is the accumulation of super cold water vapor that freezes

instantly when it comes in contact with a snowflake

Heavily rimed snowflakes look more like hard, dense ice pellets

while lightly rimed, "fluffy", snowflakes often maintain their light, delicate crystals

As you've probably already guessed, these fragile snowflakes melt pretty easily

whereas hail-like snowflakes are less prone to breaking up during the melting process

Now we have the techniques and we have the computer power

to actually make simulations of these things

Bunny Riding a Bicycle | Color With Me! Ep. 5 - Duration: 6:15.

- Hello, hello, hello my friends!

Kaitlyn here and let's do some coloring.

(upbeat electronic music)

Ooh, it's been a little bit.

The last time we did a Color With Me it was Christmastime

and now we've kind of made it through winter.

Hopefully, it's going to be spring soon.

It snowed here in Virginia on the first day of spring,

so that's kind of telling you where I'm at.

I thought I would celebrate the almost springtime weather

by doing some more coloring.

Coloring something very fun and spring-themed.

So let's do it.

So...I picked out what I wanted to color,

which was like this floral bunny thing,

but I don't remember where--

Oh, look, here it is!

Found it on the first try.

Isn't it adorable?

It's so cute.

What color should our bunny be?

Sometimes that,

finding that first color is the really difficult part.

How do I feel about that?

I like it and I also don't like it.

I kinda like this color.

Where's the bunny's other leg?

There's the front leg and then the back leg,

there's a hip, but what happened to your leg, bunny?

I don't know, he's missing, he's missing a foot at least.

What color bicycle should the bunny have?

I like kinda going with a yellow bike,

is what I'm feeling right now.

(peppy instrumental music)

Bunny has a yellow bike.

(peppy instrumental music)

So 'cause I'm lazy, I'm gonna color everything that's supposed

to be green, green and then I'll go back

and change the greens to varying shades,

because trying to decide which one should be which shade,

when everything is still white, is difficult for me.

(peppy instrumental music)

Uh-huh, uh-huh, kinda simple right now.

We'll work on that because we need complicated things.

I don't know why I feel like I have

to make it uber-complicated in order to,

for it to be like worthy of being online.

That's sort of how I deal with everything,

especially when it comes to YouTube.

Where I'm like, well,

if it's not gonna take a bajillion hours,

then what's the point?

All right, I am struggling with the bunny's shirt

and the bike wheels.

(peppy instrumental music)

That's really weird looking.

I don't like it.

I'm torn, I almost feel like I need to go with a reddish

or orange-y color or something.

I'm liking this better.

(peppy instrumental music)

I hate backgrounds sometimes.

Unless I pick the background first, I hate them.

That's actually kinda cute.

This or that?

(peppy instrumental music)

This takes a lot of concentration.

I don't wanna mess it up! (panting)

(peppy instrumental music)

I wanna give Mr. Bunny some uh, you know, the shading.

(giggling)

That's the word that I am looking for.

Oh, man, I'm a mess today guys.

(peppy instrumental music)

♪ I don't know what I'm doing ♪

(peppy instrumental music)

Maybe, maybe.

I think we've officially decided what it is.

Ta-daaaa! (giggling)

Bright and springy and adorable, adorable little bunny.

I just wanna hold him in my hands

and put him on his little, tiny bicycle,

and watch him peddle away with his flowers.

(laughing)

Oh, man. I feel super crazy today.

Ahhhh.

I hope this coloring of a teal-ish, blue bunny

in a sweater riding a bicycle makes you as happy

and warm-fuzzy inside as it does me. (giggling)

So for the question today,

I want to know what is your favorite springtime activity?

For me as a kid, it probably was Easter eggs hunts

and then dying eggs with my grandmother.

There was just something kind of magical about the process.

Something that you do as a kid and you kinda stop doing

as you get older or unless you do it with other children.

Why do we do that?

It's a fun, it's a fun thing.

As an adult, I don't really dye eggs anymore

and there aren't as many springtime activities to do,

I would say, but maybe like doing spring crafts.

Or that first warm weather hike are things

that I really enjoy about spring.

As always, remember to check me out

on these other social media sites

where I sometimes will post some of my other colorings

that I don't film for you.

If this video made you smile,

then subscribe and hit that notification bell

so you know the moment that there's a new video.

I'll see you guys next Thursday.

Bye! (blows kiss)
