Good afternoon everybody this is Stephen McClelland, Principal of Special Education with the Simcoe

County District School Board and we're here today to walk you through how to join a Google

Meet as a Parent.

This is quite an exciting experiment with us because it would mean that really, we would

be able to conduct school meetings with you being in your office or the comfort of your

own home without actually necessarily needing to come to the school every time for a meeting.

So we are using an app which can be accessed through your phone or through your laptop

or home computer.

The application is called Google Meet.

So in your search engine, you would just type in Google Meet, we find that it is best to

use the Google Chrome navigation platform.

So once you have Google Meet up, what would happen is a that a school team would send

you an email that has a notification pin or a URL that you would then drop into the appropriate

line once the app is open.

Once you have got that URL in, it is then going to ask you to Join a Meeting, or to

Join the Meeting is actually what it is going to say.

You would just click on Join the Meeting.

If you were there at the School you would see multiple people come up on the screen

depending on how many people were joining and then you would be able to join the team,

now a couple of things you do need to watch for though is to make sure you have access

to your camera from the computer or the iPhone, you also need to ensure you are allowing access

to the microphone so people in the meeting are able to hear you, ok, often times if you

don't see those things or people kinda see people but they can't see you, you can actually

tap on the picture you see which might be a picture of yourself or a picture of somebody

else in the meeting, that is usually that is when you see the icon at the bottom that

would indicate a camera and a microphone and you can tap on those to either mute them or

activate them or to unmute them or inactivate them.

Fox News Wants Trump Supporters To Crowdfund His Border Wall - Duration: 4:57.

On Monday, New York Post columnist, Michael Goodwin went on Fox and friends on Fox News

and he laid out a new plan for how to pay for Donald Trump's border wall.

Now, here's the reason he even wanted to talk about this, obviously with Democrats taking

back over the House of Representatives and just a week and a half or so, uh, the budget

is not going to include any funding for the border wall.

After Chuck Schumer finally saw how to stand up to somebody by following Nancy Pelosi's

lead in that meeting with Trump, he is also not likely to give Donald Trump the $5,000,000,000

that he wants to build his stupid wall.

So Michael Goodman goes on Fox and friends and he lays out this plan.

Here is his quote, uh, well first, Brian Kilmeade asked, is there a private way to do this?

Like maybe privatized the wall in Goodwin responded thusly, you can create a go fund

me operation.

Others suggest a other ways.

There is an existing effort, I think a fund the wall.com run by a sheriff's association

that's raised some money, but nowhere near what is needed and yet according to my mail,

a lot of people are willing to chip in.

One reader writes to me and says, if the 63 million people who voted for Donald Trump

each contributed 80 bucks, that would get you near the 5 billion mark.

I think that's the kind of thing that needs to happen.

It could be a people's wall, uh, people's wall, right?

I, that's what this is about, is about people coming together and emptying their wallets

and their bank accounts because they hate nonwhite people so much because let's call

it what it is.

That's what the border wall is all about.

Hating nonwhite people, hating those immigrants that Tucker Carlson loves to bash every night.

So sure, Donald Trump supporters, all 63 million have you go ahead and send $80.

I don't know where, maybe the go fund me thing that they're kicking around at this point

and let's see how good that actually works out for you.

Because in reality, we know that would never come to fruition.

There is not enough honest people on the Republican side to actually run a go fund me that even

if it made $5,000,000,000, do you know what would happen?

Whoever started it would probably leave this country with that money and you'd never see

them again because that's how Republicans are.

But Hey, you knew you, right?

You go ahead and fork over that $80.

Even though we know that the Trump supporters in this country are the ones who were being

hit the hardest with Donald Trump's trade wars.

They're losing their jobs.

They're losing their livelihoods.

They probably at this point do not have $80 to waste on a stupid border wall, and you

had a lot of them probably do blame immigrants for their ills right now.

Even though 100 percent of those ills are actually coming directly from Donald Trump

and the republican party themselves.

I don't even know what else to say at this point.

They're actually considering actually talking about it like it's a real possibility of having

Trump supporters all 63 million fund the border wall by each kicking in 80 bucks.

That tells you everything you need to know about Republicans today because this border

wall is not about our safety.

It's not about our security.

It's not about protecting our economy.

It's about protecting white identity from people who are too afraid of any non white

person and those idiots might just be stupid enough to fork over $5,000,000,000 to prove

to everyone how racist they truly are.

Cloth vs. Clothes vs. Wear - English Vocabulary Word Lesson - Duration: 3:34.

Hey guys! it's Michael here from Happy English and today let's talk about three

nouns that are often confused in English.

Those words are cloth, clothes, and wear

First of all, let's look at the word cloth.

Cloth has actually two meanings in English

A cloth is a small towel.

You probably have a small towel in your

bathroom that you use to wash your face.

We call that a wash cloth.

I've also heard that called a face cloth

but I think basically in American English

we call that a wash cloth.

I always use a wash cloth in the morning.

Hey can you get a cloth and wipe the table, please?

I have a special cloth to clean my eyeglasses.

The other meaning of cloth is material.

Cloth is the material or fabric

that we use to make clothes.

His suit is made from fine cloth from Italy.

MOOD is a famous cloth store in New York City.

I love cotton cloth

I think it's the most comfortable.

Cloth is a countable noun.

You can say one cloth or two cloths.

Two cloths.

Two cloths.

On the other hand clothes is an uncountable noun.

Clothes is NOT the plural form of cloth.

Clothes.

The pronunciation in American English

is just like the word clothes.

Can you close the door?

You have nice clothes.

Close the door.

Nice clothes.

The pronunciation is exactly the same

Jenny always wears nice clothes and she looks stylish.

A lot of New Yorkers like to buy clothes at Macy's.

Our company CEO wears custom-made clothes.

So how about where?

Where is also an uncountable noun,

but the difference between clothes and wear

is that with where we always have

another word in front of where.

You can say things like:

swimwear

tennis wear

golf wear

children's wear

training wear

So as a noun,

where is never used alone

I can say, you have nice clothes,

but I can't say, you have nice wear.

Wear always needs another word in front of it.

They sell formal wear and suits

at the shop on Madison Avenue.

Children's wear is located on the third floor

of this department store.

Well, I bought tennis wear and a racquet

so I'm ready to play.

I am paralyzed. Being paralyzed feels like you're glued to a wheelchair that

you can get out of. When I was little, in elementary school, it was always hard for

me to fit in, because there were kids that could run walk and other things

that I couldn't do. When they played sports, I always watched them sitting on

the porch because I couldn't play with them. And I felt so lonely in those times.

I had wonderful teachers who were always there to support me and comfort me when

I was down. They always told me to follow my own path because I was human .

When I was 14, my parents and I decided to move to Budapest which found the school that

there were a bunch of paralyzed children just like me. It was like a light at the

end of my tunnel. I love this school because it was like a dream come true

where I could finally enjoy myself. I made a lot of friends and they saw my

English talent because I'm Hungarian and they were just like amazed how I could

speak English just now. Now we have an English lecturer in the school her name

is Beth. I love her company because she has the best sense of humor in the world. When I

talk to her, I feel like there's spirit coming out of me that there's just not

stuff speaking in English. The school has a college built inside of

it and now I moved into it not so long ago. In college I've learned a lot of

different abilities; how to take care of yourself even if you're paralyzed.

I decided that when I turn 25 I will move to LA and work as a journalist there,

Writing is very close to my heart and I spent a lot of time writing when I was

younger. Writing was my good spirit while I was

younger. And that's what I'm gonna do. You see even if you're paralyzed you can

achieve anything and that's how I told myself "I can achieve anything" and my

parents always support me that I can always achieve anything, just like how I

told myself. And I accepted myself that I'm not an alien, I'm a human - I'm

just in wheelchair rolling around and I'm still smiling.

And please if you see a paralyzed person don't judge them before you get to know them.

Aspen Gradebook: Adding Categories to My Sections - Duration: 4:02.

Hello!

My name is Denise Miller from BPS Technology.

Today I am going to go over adding categories to my sections.

The information I am adding is for my Gradebook.

Most likely you will have different categories and different weights and keep in mind that

sections should be linked before adding categories and assignments.

In the lower left-hand portion of the section details screen I can see the Categories area.

Clicking on the Categories arrow expands the screen.

I see two buttons: "Add" used to add categories and

"Import" used to import categories.

There is also a checkbox for "Adjust Weights By Term."

I would check this if I were going to have different category weights for different terms.

I am not so I leave unchecked.

Clicking the Add button allows me to add a category.

I first enter a category code.

This code should be short, 6 characters or less.

If I have my Gradebook preferences set to show the category code, a longer code would

make my Gradebook Scores section expand longer than I want.

I enter H for homework.

In the description field I can enter longer text.

I enter Homework.

In the weight field I enter the category weight.

I enter 25% for homework.

Please note that if my Average mode is set to "Total Points" I will not be able to enter weights.

Weighting is not used when the Total Points Averaging mode is used.

Click the green check to save or if I needed to I would click the red X to discard.

I'm going to click the green check to save.

To add additional categories I can click the Add button or the plus sign (+).

I add Q for Quizzes with a weight of 25%; I enter T for Tests with the weight of 50%.

Although most typical, my weights/percentages don't have to be out of 100.

The category weights are all in relation to each other.

Giving my Homework and Quizzes a weight of 1 and Tests the weight of 2 would bring the

same results as 25% and 50% weights.

I can delete a category by clicking on the Category code and then clicking Delete.

I will see a warning.

Caution should be used if you are going to delete a category after term grades have been posted.

Averages in the Gradebook may not be the same as posted grades.

Also, if I had already created these categories, saved and come back, when I delete a category

in this section I would have to go to all of the other links sections and delete the categories.

After adding my categories I just need to save.

Where my sections are linked, the categories that I have created in this section will also now be in my linked sections.

CHANGING MY CHANNEL NAME (cc) - Duration: 1:43.

Hey guys it's Alyssa here over at books and cats and today I have

Little bit of an announcement. So I have decided to change my channel name.

I wasn't sure if I should make a video or not, but I figured it can't hurt to make a video

I just figured I would inform people because you know

If you're newer to my channel and then all of a sudden you see this new name in your feed

You're like I didn't subscribe to that person

So I am changing my channel name from books and cats to Alyssa's shelves

Not that interesting or like creative or anything. I just am

Feeling like I kind of grew out of my channel name and it just doesn't fit anymore

It kind of makes me cringe a little bit

I feel like I've made my content so much better

And with that my channel name should change. Gone back and forth over what to name it several times

But I think Alyssa's shelves works. I like how it looks

Yeah, I just I feel like I've evolved from my old name. I was very young when I made that. I think I was like

17 18 and me now. We're not the same person

So I just feel like I've evolved from it and that it's time to change it

I don't really expect any feedback on this video
