My Favorite SEO Hack to Increase Website Traffic | Neil Patel - Duration: 4:34.

Have you tried all those traffic hacks out there

that me and all these other, quote unquote,

gurus and marketing experts have told you, but you found

that you're getting very little traffic or results?

Well, you know what, I'm gonna change that today.

Hey everyone, I'm Neil Patel, and today I'm gonna share

with you my favorite hack to increase your website traffic

that you're not using.

(upbeat music)

Before we get started, make sure you subscribe or follow

this channel, whatever social channel you're on,

if you wanna stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest

in marketing information, make sure you subscribe.

What is this hack?

Do you really think it's that great?

Is it?

Can't be, Neil, right?

Well, trust me.

I bet less than 1% of you are using this tactic.

You've heard of Google Search Console, right?

Well, of course you have.

I've talked about it, Google's talked about it, everyone

who's a marketer has talked about it.

But here's what I want you to do.

Trust me.

You're not doing this.

First, go into Google Search Console.

Second, look for all the keywords that you're ranking for

that are driving the majority of the traffic.

They should be ranked at the top

within your Google Search Console.

It typically shows you the most popular keywords that

you get the most clicks for to the least popular

ones at the bottom.

Now I want you to take those keywords and click on 'em.

Google Search Console will show you which

page that keyword is pointing to.

This is really important.

Once you've done this, you now know the most popular

keywords that are driving traffic to your website.

If you guys already know how to do this, and you've done

this before, comment with a yes.

If you don't know how to do this, please comment with a

I've never done this before or a no.

The reason I'm asking you to do this is this will help me

create future videos so I know what to teach you on and what

I know not to teach you on 'cause I don't wanna regurgitate

the same information that you already know.

But as I mentioned, you're not doing this.

And check this out, I'm not talking about the

Google Search Console part.

You now have the keywords that are driving traffic

and what pages they're going to.

Take that keyword and put it into Ubersuggest.

Ubersuggest will show you all the Google suggest versions

of that keyword.

What I mean by Google suggest is, have you every done a

Google search and you start typing in things like marketing,

and it starts recommending other long tail phrases

that are similar to marketing that other people search for?

These are other popular terms.

If you already know that you're ranking

for terms like marketing, what Ubersuggest will do

is it'll show you all the long tail phrases.

See with Google, it's much harder to rank for head

terms than it is to rank for long tail terms.

So take whatever terms that you're already ranking for

that's driving the majority of your traffic, print to

Ubersuggest it'll show you all the other similar long tail

phrases that you should be using within that web page.

Now I want you to go back to your web page and I want

you to integrate those keywords in there.

It could be that you can just add them in because your

contents are already similar to those key words.

It may be that you have to update your content, add in

paragraphs and paragraphs of text which is fine as well.

You'll also find that some of those key words aren't

relevant enough to your content and that means that you

may want to write a secondary article or another article

around that one long tail phrase.

Now that you've done this, I want you to also update

your title tag and your meta description to include

those most popular terms that Ubersuggest showed you.

Now that you've done that, take that URL, go back into

Google Search Console and submit it for re-indexing.

Once you submit it for re-indexing, what you'll find is

it'll get re-crawled by Google again.

Within 30 days, you'll notice that your page that was

already ranking for a head term, a popular term that

was driving a lot of your traffic, will also now start

ranking for long tail phrases and you'll be getting

all this extra traffic that you never had before.

That's my traffic hack.

It's simple, it's easy to do but most people don't use it

because it uses tools like Google Search Console and

Ubersuggest separately instead of combining them.

When you combine them, you'll get much more traffic

and best of all both of these tools are for free.

Thanks for watching, make sure you like this video,

share it, subscribe to the channel and of course

if your confused on any steps of this tactic leave a

comment below, let me know where you're struggling and

I'll respond helping you out.

How to Use Watercolor Paint | Bluprint | Michaels - Duration: 5:04.

(guitar music)

- So I very vaguely remember doing

my first ever watercolor painting.

I was in second grade and I was hanging out

at my friend, Matt Sullivan's, house.

We're just sitting at the kitchen table,

slapping around colors on a piece of paper,

and I remember stepping away and seeing

that my piece actually looked like a bird

flying into the base of a boat.

It's quite unintentional, but I remember feeling

very proud of it and apparently my parents

were quite proud of it as well,

as they ended up hanging it in our basement gallery wall.

Fast forward 10 years, it was my senior year of high school,

and I refound painting.

And I absolutely fell in love with it.

A couple years later, I graduated

with a degree in graphic design,

and I now run a small design studio here in Denver

where I specialize in creating art and design

for businesses big and small.

And it all started with that weird, little bird painting.

I'm Adam Vicarel and this is my Maker Story.

First, let's get started with our supplies.

We'll need pencils, paint brushes,

and an eraser, watercolor paint,

and a stencil, our frame, a reference image,

watercolor paper, Micron pens,

and a metallic sharpie, some water, and paper towels.

So to get started we're gonna take our watercolor paper

and cut it down to size as to fit in our frame

when we're done at the very end.

Our next step is to find a reference image.

I personally went online and flipped through

a few images to find what I was looking for,

but you can also go in your backyard,

snap a few photos, and use whatever you'd like.

So as you start sketching,

don't be worried if what you draw

is too thick or too thin, or maybe a little longer

or shorter than your actual image itself.

Let it be loose, let it be fun, and start light

and then work your way up towards a more final drawing.

So I'm gonna get started just with a very general form

of my eucalyptus branch.

I'm then gonna put a couple leaflets,

or little lines where the leaves

will be coming off of the branch.

So now I'm coming through and trying

to find a little bit more definitive form

in my actual leaf.

And I'm drawing very light.

So now that my pencil sketch is complete,

we're gonna move on to the next step which is watercolor.

But first, we're gonna go in

and do what I call a 90% erase.

Where we're basically gonna go in here

and erase 90% of our drawing so that it's very subtle.

And what this allows us to do is paint that watercolor

directly over top of it

without our pencil line showing through.

So when working with watercolors,

we wanna work from our lightest colors

to our darkest colors.

So we'll start off by painting the lightest colors

of these leaves first.

And remember, when you're painting with watercolors,

we wanna build things up in layers.

(guitar music)

So now that I've got my first layer of green down,

I'm gonna go in and start building up

those translucent layers of green,

and maybe a little bit of blues or reds

to start to add a little bit of more depth to my leaves.

And if you notice that you have too much paint

pooling at the bottom of a particular portion

of your painting, you can always go in

with your paper towel and easily absorb it.

As I begin to paint the stem,

I wanna do the exact same process

of starting light and working my way up

towards the darker values.

(light music)

So once you start to feel good

about where your painting has landed,

you're gonna set it aside, let it dry,

and then we're gonna go in and start doing

an outline with our Micron pens.

So what we'll simply do is outline all

of our watercolor painting that we just completed.

And what this does is adds an extra pop to our piece.

Now gonna go in here and add a few highlights.

It's very subtle, but this just adds

a little bit of white-ish yellow

which acts like the sunlight hitting the leaf itself.

We're gonna move on to the next step,

and that's gonna be to create a metallic

container shape around our plant.

I personally am gonna draw a hexagon.

However, you can draw whatever shape you'd like.

We're gonna start off by just drawing a rectangle

around our plant, and what I want you to do

is actually have that container shape

overlapping some of the elements of the plant.

It doesn't need to be perfect.

You can kinda eyeball where these dots

and marks are going, and then draw your lines from there.

I'm gonna go back in and add a few additional lines

that connect some of these newer corners.

So now that all of my pencil lines are complete,

I'm ready to move on to the Sharpie.

And basically what I'm gonna be doing

is tracing directly back over top

of what I've already drawn.

However, something we wanna do

to add depth to our piece is to fluctuate,

some of these gold lines will go in front of the plant,

and others behind.

And I will now go back in and erase any of that pencil line.

So even the stuff that's directly on my watercolor

is totally fine to erase.

Our final step is to take our Micron and our stencil

and to go in and add a few additional lines

that really make this piece feel cohesive and complete.

You don't want this to be too dominant,

so experiment as you go, adding different textures

and different line weights.

To finalize everything, we'll take this piece

and put it in a nice frame and hang it on a wall.

You'll notice that even with using

the same reference image,

I was able to create three, different, unique pieces

through using different colors

and different foreground elements.

And don't be limited to just plants and flowers.

Feel free to have fun and get creative.

I can...do it.

Oh, good. Okay.

Hi, my name's Maria.

Um, so I, I always knew

that I wanted to be a fashion designer,

and even when I was a little girl,

I was always, you know, drawing on napkins.

Yeah.

Fashion Designer: My parents paid for me to go to design school,

and then they supported me when I went to New York

And then they, uh, freed up my trust fund early,

Sorelle, can you weigh in on your experiences in business

and-and really how you've approached, uh, your success?

For me, it's really been about putting the time in

and making sure I did all the research required.

So important. - Yeah.

Also, my parents are very wealthy,

so they had me set up with all the right connections,

like, right off the bat,

and then it was just like (whistles),

right to the moon, yep.

Just like that.

Wow, okay.

Um, you know what?

Why don't we, uh, pass the mic down to Elani.

If you can speak to any of the young

up-and-coming directors out there.

Uh, you know, I would definitely say,

just start by having rich parents.

I mean, it's just faster.

Yeah.

It really is.

(laughing)

Man: My, uh-

Elani: Oh.

My parents have actually been pretty hands off.

Moderator: Oh, great.

So then how did you go from being an assistant

at a garage to the CEO of a bioengineering firm?

Mhm. Yeah, my aunt owns the company,

and she hired me before I was even done school.

Yeah. Yeah. -Mhm.

A rich aunt.

She's like a mother to me, my aunt, she's amazing.

Very wealthy.

Yeah. - My uncle's a diplomat, so.

It's important to leverage those connections

in order to remove regulations

so that we could dispose of waste

without any kind of oversight.

Yeah.

Also it's a really great way to smuggle coke

into the country.

Stitch Fix Stock is Down Big - Is it a Buy? - Duration: 9:54.

Chris Hill: Apparel retail is going crazy today.

We're going to dip into the Fool mailbag, but we're going to start with apparel retail because this is nuts.

We've got two stocks and a spread of nearly 60% in terms of how they are doing today.

It's Stitch Fix and Ascena Retail Group. We'll get to these one by one.

Stitch Fix, first quarter profits came in much higher than expected, and nobody seems to care about that at all.

Their active clients grew 22%. That was still a little bit lower than analysts were expecting.

Then, compounded by the fact that they come out and say, "Actually, we're not really going

to grow that count in the second quarter." That appears to be what's hammering the stock.

Right? It can't be the profits. And they missed by a hair on the active client growth.

Emily Flippen: I mean, what world are we living in that our digital online fashion retailer

has been hammered, but the classic hard store retail location is doing well?

Stitch Fix has not done well today, to say the least.

They announced earnings after close yesterday, and it was exactly like you mentioned,

slower active client growth.

Ultimately, while Stitch Fix has a lot of great things working for it, in terms of the data,

the inventory, the stylists, loyal customers, they still need to sell clothes.

And when you're not meeting expectations in terms of active client growth, that doesn't

bode well for your ability to sell clothes in the future.

So, it was that, in combination with the fact that we're going into a holiday season,

and management said, "We don't really expect to see growth as a result of the holiday season."

A little bit understandable. I'm not sure who is gifting clothes.

More people subscribe to this as a service for themselves vs. as a gift.

So, that wasn't quite unexpected for me. But for a lot of investors, it did not paint a pretty picture.

Hill: No, I agree with that, in terms of what should be expected around the holiday quarter.

That being said, I'm pretty sure that on the docket for 2019 is some sort of plan around

the holidays, to gift subscriptions, to get new people trying.

Because people who subscribe -- Stitch Fix hates that word. They hate that.

They say, "It's not a subscription service." OK, fine. But, people who use this service really love it.

So, that would seem natural.

If they can figure out a way to enable the people who use the service and love it to

give it as a gift next holiday season, that would bode well for them.

I shouldn't pick so much on the Wall Street analysts' expectations as a group, because,

as you point out, this is a growth stock. If they're not growing, they're going to get hammered for it.

That being the case, this is a stock that is down about 30% today.

It is trading for $18 a share and change. Three months ago, it was over $50 a share.

Is this a buying opportunity for Stitch Fix?

This really seems like one heck of a sell-off in just three months' time.

Flippen: I've said this before, I spend a lot of time thinking about Stitch Fix,

and I think the reason why we see such drastic changes -- $50, $18, those are huge differences in price.

I think that's because Stitch Fix is a binary stock.

This stock is either going to succeed or it's going to turn into Blue Apron.

There really is very little room for a middle ground when it comes to Stitch Fix.

So, when they do not meet the expectations of a growth stock, the first thing that jumps

into investors' minds is, "This is a zero, not a one.

This is not ending well on the binary scale for me, so I'm selling off because it's going

to nothing," vs. other stocks, when you have bad quarters, a lot of times, people think,

"Oh, it's just a bump. It's going to slowly grow."

This is a company that's either going to make it or fail in a lot of investors' minds.

If you're one of those people that really loves the service, really believes in their

ability to attract people, to retain customers over the long-term, sell that data to get

people to buy more clothes, this is an amazing buying opportunity.

And I know a lot of analysts here at The Motley Fool support Stitch Fix, love Stitch Fix.

I'm sure they're seeing this as a buying opportunity.

But I also know that personally, myself, and I know other analysts, disagree. It's a binary stock.

I think ultimately, it just depends on which side of the fence you fall on.

Hill: Is your feeling about Stitch Fix personal about Stitch Fix?

Or is that the way you feel about binary stocks in general?

That, as an investor, you're not interested in binary stocks?

Flippen: I'm less interested in binary stocks than some people, but it's not an immediate deal-breaker for me.

For me, Stitch Fix... granted, I'm not quite their target customer. I don't spend a lot of money on clothes.

I just didn't see it. I didn't see them retaining users for a long time.

I reserve the right to be totally wrong about that. In fact, you talked about giving it as a gift.

I hope my mom doesn't listen to this podcast, because I actually got her a Stitch Fix gift

card for Christmas, with the intention of experimenting on somebody who does value convenience

over price and would love to get clothes in the mail. We'll see if she ends up retaining her membership.

Hill: So, they do have a gifting program. Flippen: They have the ability to send a gift card.

To me, that's not the best gift. Whenever somebody opens it up, it doesn't have that same exciting feel.

You just got a gift card.

I think if they were able to implement where I was able to send her first Fix, then maybe,

that would be more appealing for people as a gift. But some of that's just awareness.

I'm not sure people are aware that Stitch Fix could be a present.

So, it'll be interesting to see what they do next year.

Hill: Here's what's going in the other direction today: it's shares of Ascena Retail Group,

which is the parent company of Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Loft, Justice, and the unfortunately-named

Dress Barn, as we were talking about right before we started taping.

Dress Barn used to be the name of the company, and thank God, they changed it to Ascena Retail.

Help me understand this. This is a stock that's up about 25% today.

I get they did better than expected.

Same-store were up 3%, which is not huge, but the expectation was for half that.

What's driving shares of Ascena Retail?

Is it simply, this thing has been beaten down for so long that we're all stunned that they

did as well as they did? Flippen: That's exactly it.

I think everybody has forgotten about Ascena Retail, then they come out with this earnings beat,

way better than expectations, and people are like, "Oh, this company still has a pulse."

I don't think that makes it necessarily a great buying opportunity.

But, just the fact that they are not directly going under made investors realize

"Hey, maybe the retail space isn't as doomed as we thought."

But, I do think it's important to look at the differences between their different brands

and how they performed, because there are stark differences.

The benefits really came from the premium in the kids segment. That's Loft, Anne Taylor, Justice for Kids.

These are the segments I really saw that growth in, and virtually all of their other segments declined.

Justice up 12% for same-store sales, that's insane.

I think for them, it's going to be really picking out what's succeeding, what's not

succeeding, and relying on those brands to drive growth in the future.

Hill: Over the past year, the delta between these two stocks is nearly 100%.

Flippen: In the same industry. Hill: It's the same industry.

They're both selling clothes. Stitch Fix shares down a little more than 20% over the past year.

Ascena Retail up more than 70%. This is bananas!

And I look at this and I wonder, particularly in the case of Ascena Retail, OK, they've

got all these brands under the umbrella.

Should they be getting rid of -- over the weekend, I took my son shoe shopping.

The place we went to, right next door was a Dress Barn.

You're the second person today who I've said that to, and the reaction, the words out of

your mouth, were, "Wow, I didn't even know those were still around."

Flippen: I think they could drop Dress Barn, and I don't think anyone would notice.

Hill: That's the thing. I look at that and go, OK, if you're looking at Justice putting up double-digit comps,

if they're doing 12% comps, clearly Dress Barn and some of the others are dragging them down.

Flippen: Of course. It's so interesting. It's a hard segment to wrap my head around sometimes.

Retail in itself, I've mentioned this before on the same podcast, I think we have premium

and we have cheap now.

That middle ground where Ascena Retail wanted their brands to play, that's more challenging.

You'll notice that Loft, which posted 9% comps, also posted an increase in the average selling

price of their clothes.

They were raising the price of their clothes, then having to decrease the price of their

cheaper brands, and that increased their sales.

So, I think that might be a testament to the fact that, like with Stitch Fix, people are

willing to pay a little bit more for premium clothes, or they're going and getting very cheap

discount clothes for what they're not buying premium. I wonder if that middle ground is going to exist.

How Did Tariffs Impact the Economy During the Holiday Season? - Duration: 6:44.

Nick Sciple: Dan, on the back half of the show, as I mentioned, we're going to talk

a little about what's going on from a macro perspective affecting logistics and shipping.

The first thing I want to talk about is tariffs. I know, it's a big issue.

We've had several rounds of tariffs this year.

The most recent news that we got was an agreement between President Trump and President Xi of

China to declare a ceasefire in what has been an ongoing trade spat between the countries,

which would delay increases on tariffs, which are currently 10% and were set to increase

to 25% January 1st.

It's going to delay that tariff increase for at least 90 days, to continue negotiations

with that trade dispute. We would have expected to see the trade deficit between

the U.S. and China to shrink as a result of tariffs.

Actually, we have seen it surge in a very significant way over the past few months.

In October, it hit the highest it had ever been at $43.1 billion.

Part of that has come because this expectation for tariffs to increase on January 1st to

25% has incentivized a lot of exporters in China and a lot of importers in the United States

to front-load their shipments to beat that increase in tariffs.

Now that we're not seeing that increase, what does that mean for U.S. retailers and for

logistics providers across the world.

Dan Kline: It's a problem. You bought a lot of, I don't know, shovels.

You bought a lot of shovels at $10 because you didn't want to pay $12 for them.

Now, they might not cost $12, and you've tied up all that money in those shovels. Let's hope they sell.

But what if you over ordered? What if your stockpile doesn't match demand?

You're going to have some dead inventory.

You're going to have some inventory that maybe they make up a little bit because they sell

it after the holiday season at a good price.

But people hedged against uncertainty, and there's still a ton of uncertainty.

Sciple: Yeah. We still don't know, when that 90 days comes around,

that these aren't going to get jacked up again.

Another factor to think about is that it wasn't just one retailer doing this.

Large numbers of U.S. retailers, all looking to get their goods to market before this January

1st increase, while there's only a limited supply of logistics infrastructure to make that happen.

I'm sure they paid a little bit higher rates to make that stuff and get here

that ended up not being necessary.

Kline: When you run a smaller retailer -- as we've talked about, I ran a toy store that

did a couple of million dollars in sales a year -- you have to make your Christmas decisions

in the summer.

You're staking out your inventory, your Legos, your stuff that's going to sell.

This is not as big of a problem at Walmart or Target.

Let's say I banked on, "I'm going to buy a bunch of Han Solo Star Wars Legos for my toy store,"

and then the movie tanks. That's what's kind of happening here.

Stores that don't normally have to make big bets in advance had to make big bets in advance.

If those bets were right, it won't matter. It'll probably all even out, in terms of the pricing.

But the reality is, that's not how it happens.

If you're Walmart, you can make a relatively small bet for Walmart and then just order more.

Instead, they're chock full of stuff, and we will probably see a slowdown,

a pretty big slowdown, in ordering in the first quarter.

Sciple: Right.

This inventory that we had built up is going to have to roll off before we can make meaningful

new investments in inventory.

Kline: And without being too political, you can say 90 days, but I think we're at a time

where every one of us in this space wakes up in the morning and checks the news

to make sure nothing crazy happened. War with Canada, invaded Mexico, who knows?

[laughs] That, as a buyer, as a national or global retail chain, that has to weigh very

heavily on every decision you make right.

Sciple: Right. As you mentioned, businesses really don't like uncertainty.

We see that in the stock market. As uncertainty rises, we see more volatility.

And we see that in these logistics infrastructures.

Just as an aside, this is not a problem that is unique to the United States.

We're seeing a very similar problem in Britain ahead of Brexit.

They've had a massive demand increase for storage facilities in anticipation of Brexit,

disrupting a lot of the trading relationships in that region.

We've seen retailers over there stockpile on inventory and stockpile on storage.

It creates a difficult situation for businesses.

Kline: You're getting a one-two punch here. You have all this inventory.

You also have all the logistics and the increased trucking of the season.

Moving all this stuff around is more expensive.

It would be cheaper to order stuff for delivery February 2nd than to get it December 2nd.

So, you're adding to the cost. And some items, you can price higher.

Some items, consumers are only going to pay what they're willing to pay.

If Amazon holds the line and paper towels are $3.99, you're not going to get $5.99 at Walmart for them.

That's a terrible example, nobody knows what paper towels cost.

Sciple: It's OK, Dan.

What we want listeners to take away here from this tariff talk is, yes, it's great news

that we're getting a delay in the increase of these tariffs.

It's probably going to be good for consumers, they're not going to have to pay higher rates

than they would have in the past.

However, businesses took steps assuming that these things were going to be in place.

They realized some expenses they did not have to to prepare for these circumstances.

And the premium they paid for goods, to get them here quicker in anticipation of these tariffs,

is extra money they're not going to get back.

I heard some of our other podcasts talking about, when weather comes through and restaurants

don't get sales. Those sales aren't going to come back.

The same way, paying for these goods to get to market, you're not going to get that back in margin.

It's something to think about in the context of tariffs and shipping in general.

Kline: As an investor, as you look at these companies, you really want to look at same-store

sales and increase of sales.

You're not going to look at cost of goods sold because it's an anomaly.

We are not going to have this uncertainty forever. At some point, we're going to sort out the tariffs.

Now, there's other instability. At times in the past, gas prices have created pricing instability.

But this is a real wild card.

You probably have to back out some of this expense when you look at the health of an actual company.

How Amazon's Alexa and Echo Devices Stole Christmas - Duration: 5:29.

Dylan Lewis: Dan, we can't talk holiday gadgets without doing a little bit of an update on

Amazon devices, right?

If you go over to Amazon, and you look at the bestselling stuff, it's a lot of Amazon devices.

Dan Kline: I think nine of 10 over the five-day Thanksgiving sales period, from Thanksgiving

through Cyber Monday. This was the first year -- and I'm speaking very anecdotally.

You and I put together a lot of the Black Friday coverage.

This is the first year that Amazon unabashedly pushed its own products.

They want you to have an Echo or an Alexa-enabled Fire TV product. The deals were incredible.

$24 Echo Dots. I don't know about you, I have three bedrooms and five Echoes.

Lewis: I don't actually have any smart home devices.

I still am slightly wary of the security issues and the invasiveness of having these devices in my home.

But, there are a lot of people who have made that plunge.

And you look at that price point, especially compared to some of the other players in this

space, Amazon has made it so cheap and so easy to have a fully-integrated full house smart home solution.

Kline: Except -- and I think it's a big except -- most people aren't using it as Amazon would like you to use it.

I bought the first full-size Echo, it was $99 for Prime members. That's still the one in my kitchen.

I have Echo Dots in every other room in my house. And I use them 99% as stereos.

"Alexa, could you play Bruce Springsteen?" "Alexa, could you play Buffalo Tom?"

Whatever it is. I might listen to a podcast. I might ask for the weather.

I am not using a single smart home feature.

I've maybe used The Motley Fool Alexa skill a handful of times because I know it exists.

But this idea that Amazon wants you to say, like, "Alexa, please replace my paper towels,"

that just hasn't happened yet.

So, yes, they're dominating the hardware market, the install base, but it's not driving sales yet.

Lewis: Way to sneak a Motley Fool Flash Briefing plug in there. I appreciate that, Dan!

Kline: I get a mug from Chris every time I do that.

Lewis: [laughs] I think the struggle, really, is that voice search isn't quite there yet.

Ideally, Amazon would like to see people using this for commerce.

That's the natural next step of this.

But there's also this possibility that voice search takes over what mobile search has become,

where we have all this information at our fingertips.

The difficulty is rendering results for voice search is a lot different, and it's not nearly

as lucrative for businesses because it's harder to serve up ads.

Kline: Amazon is also competing with itself.

I order from Amazon this time of year maybe twice a day between random gifts and stuff I figure I need.

When you go into the app on your phone, you can type in whatever it is, "wireless headset,"

and see exactly what you're getting.

In my kitchen, if I say, "[Alexa], reorder spaghetti sauce," maybe it buys the spaghetti sauce

my wife likes and not the one I want. That's very easy to do on a phone.

There's not really a driving incentive for me to do it via voice search.

It might be something that, maybe my son, when he gets buying power, would be more willing to do that.

In his room, I hear him doing more ridiculous Alexa searches than, maybe, I do.

And I'd like to have a smart home, but it still feels like a gimmick to me to say, "Alexa, lights on."

My light switch is right when I walk in, I don't need that.

Lewis: The way I'm looking at this from a big picture strategy perspective is,

Amazon is getting the devices in people's homes and getting people used to interacting with them.

I think that they know that it's a long putt to get them to the point where they're really

using stuff in a way that's profitable for the business.

They probably about break even on a lot of these devices that they sell.

If it means that they're a little bit more engaged with the service, maybe they wind

up ordering a little bit more on Prime because they own those devices, then that's a nice cherry on top.

But for them, this is a long bet on smart home and being the installed player there.

Kline: I agree. And by moving early, they priced everybody else out.

Apple, it's hard to compete with the iPhone because of the base it has.

Amazon really came to this first, and it's cheap, and I don't think you can do better.

The Apple HomePod is dramatically more expensive, hundreds of dollars more expensive, and there

is nothing it can do -- maybe the audio quality is a little better. But I love my Echo.

When I moved from Connecticut to Florida, I didn't bring my stereo, because the Echo

was more than good enough.

Austin Morgan: I would strongly disagree with that.

Lewis: [laughs] Audiophile Austin Morgan has some fighting words for your audio opinions.

Morgan: If you're using your Alexa to tell your stereo what to play, great.

But those Dots sound like garbage. Kline: No, not the Dot. The full-size Echo.

Morgan: Still garbage. Lewis: Well, Austin might be a bit of an audio snob.

If you guys wouldn't mind going back to your respective corners.

DESCUBRO donde esta la FAMILIA que ABANDONO su CASA en NAVIDAD - Duration: 10:03.

Christmas 2002

- Dad, why do we have to leave? - There is no other option my love we have to leave

good morning, a year ago we visited a house, which we think is

abandoned at Christmas of the year 2002, you asked us to come back for

investigate what had happened with the family that lived in this house

and recently I had the opportunity to come back and investigate among the

objects that remained of the family. Thanks to this I have managed to find your

whereabouts, so do not miss anything of today's video to find out about

absolutely everything. as always ask you that you subscribe activates the little bell

to receive all the notifications of the new videos that are to come

Give us like if you like and share in your social networks (Facebook, whatsapp groups, etc.) as always at the end

of the video I will highlight one of the comments of the previous video and not

forget to leave your comment. Without more we started

the house was spectacular, the ocean view it was amazing

it must be the living room

and here the kitchen of the house that gave the swimming pool

some vestiges of what was the kitchen

and an old auxiliary bathroom that was nearby from the kitchen

there are still some video tapes of the family that lived here

and we can see the incredible view that there was from the living room of the house

it almost seems that we could see the children playing and laughing in the living room of the

house next to the window that looked at the sea

we go upstairs

the room had a bathroom and we believe that this was the children's room

the little kids

the children's notebooks are left, is the Georgia notepad

we see here your belongings

Liverpool football club

from the first moment I thought that the family was from liverpool due to the large amount of

objects of Liverpool

the views are simply spectacular,

it was a house with a privileged position Oceanfront

there are traces of Christmas throughout the house

a tape by Jason Donovan, a singer of a lot of fame in the 80s

and more and more things about Christmas

a typical Christmas postcard

the counting tables for children

another great room

Merry Christmas

there are still vestiges of what they are the ancient curtains that covered the

windows of the house

among all the belongings that I found the family that lived in the

house were previously some notebooks of one of the children

The child's notebook retains the full name. By what I can find out through

facebook, I verified that effectively I had studied at one of the institutes

near the house, even though I've tried to talk to him through

facebook, you can see that it's been a while since does any publication and that is not

usual to enter this platform, so if later I get

talk to him, he would let them know. What If you can find out is that you currently live in

Lliverpool, which means that the family returned to liverpool and is

married and has three daughters. It has been incredible to know about him and be able to see him,

Obviously I can not share the photo because it's something private, but it's been

incredible to be able to know of his whereabouts and which is his after so many years (16 years)

Well here's the video today, as always highlight one of the comments of the

previous video, in this case the comment will be from DMG that tells us: "what an impression

makes watch children's trolleys and children's things small in the scans,

very good video and great discovery done by me with your channel, greeting from

Bilbao " Greetings DMG and thank you very much for

your comment. As always recommend you

subscribe, activate the bell to receive all notifications of the new videos

that are to come Give us a like if you like the video and share

in your social networks, I also take advantage to wish you a merry Christmas and a

happy New Year. From this house abandoned at Christmas I say goodbye for today.

Surely in the cold winter of Liverpool the family will remember their house by the sea

There, on top of the cliff, the house seems to be watching the horizon, waiting

the family that never returned.

Very many thanks for watching the video and I wait for you in the next one.

a greeting

Christmas 2002
