Hunting Pennies - 1919S Found - Duration: 7:19.
Hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure once again and it's on to another penny hunt
we got only three more boxes left of all those boxes I get I get two a week and I
also get two half dollar boxes a week I get at least four nickle boxes a week
sometimes I go grab dimes and quarters but it's been hard staying caught up
with work and travel and just getting the videos edited so I had six penny
boxes at one point now I'm down to the last three
so go ahead and hunt this one I've already kind of took a peek I don't see any weak
back-end or shown doesn't mean they're not in there I do see a lot of copper
and of course we are starting to have the lookout going for 2018 without
further ado let's get this hunt on okay guys I am super excited right now third
roll in I saw it facing forward look at this a 1919 s wheatie right here let's
look at the back first
you know it's worn down like you expect a wheat cent to be but it's got a good
legible date and a good legible mint mark and here's what's even more cool
about that this is my first 1919 s I have 1919 s but no "esses" and I'm super
happy right now it's my very first one sorry for the dirty hands
I was just hunting half dollars but I'll get them washed here in a second in the
meantime how cool is that first find of the box even a 1919 s
could be a great box let's keep looking six for all the box we got our first
four and it's a 1979 Canadian a little bit beat up we'll still take it though
roll number ten finally got another wheatie and it's another nice one 1945
Philadelphia I'll take it first to Wheaties of the box car 1919 s and a
1945 Philadelphia got some other finds but let's keep hunting... Very next roll
guys roll number 11 look at this look at this
another wheat cent looks fairly new 58d yes sir we'll take it though let's get
back to the hunt alright guys roll number 12 we've got three Wheaties in a row got
another wheatie right here 1956 D I'll take it four wheat cents and the first 12
rolls roll 14 guys another wheat cent
1949 Philadelphia good shape - we'll take it it's our fifth wheatie of the Box
we roll number 18 guys the wheatie hunt continues got another weed year 1941 we
will take it slide it right next to the 1919 because now it's the oldest wheat
cent to other than the 1919 and that makes six and the first 18 rolls feels
like could be a good box all right guys we rolled over 31 I laid the coins out
and you can see a wheat cent right there so I figured I would pull it out in
front of you guys looks like it's gonna be a newer 50s one nope
just missed the 50s by a year another 1949 that's now seven wheat cents and
two from 1949 both Philadelphia Mint alright let's keep looking very next for
all role 32 look at this we got a wheat cent that just fell down a 57 D it's not
in bad shape whatsoever
I'll take it we'd sent number eight roll 33 guys kind of a unique find got a
flattened 2001 P dime man it's in tough shape put it to the side and we'll
finish this roll and get back to the next one
we're all 35 guys and we got the back of a wheat cent and the fronts in pretty
bad shape I'm not sure I'd get a year off that let
me try to carefully clean a little bit and I'll be right back all right
everyone a little bit of soap and water I'm not gonna spend a lot of time on it
it is a 1957 D pretty bad shape as far as the condition overall but you know
what I'll take it it's another week set and that makes nine whole number 38 guys
check it out got a wheat cent peeking out looks like it's a little worn but
you never know which we'd since that's for sure yeah it's a little better than
I thought 54 D we'll take it because that puts us in double digits with
Wheaties there's 10 all right let's get back to the hunt and we still have 12
more rolls after this one... well another box of pennies completed
guys here's the finds to 2017 peas and a dime we end up with 11 2009 one Canadian
Foreigns four 1959's and 10 Wheaties not too bad a years we got this 1919 s matter of
fact I'm gonna pull that up here get one last look at this beautiful 1919 s I'm
very happy with it it's my first one so we'll take it
we also got a forty one affiliate a couple of 49 Phillies and a 45 Philly
kind of 54 D a 56 D 57 D that's also a 57 D and a 58 D at the end of the day
when you get double-digit weenies in a box you're not too upset hope you guys

did you know that the tiger shark can eat almost anything
what's going on everybody my name is Brandon I'm a marine biologist and an
artist and welcome to nature meets paper the place where we go on an adventure to
discover the world of marine biology I love sharing my passion of the ocean and
its creatures with you through art I want to promote going on an adventure to
discover something new today we'll be discovering the tiger shark are you
ready let's dive in the tiger shark is found in tropical and subtropical waters
near reefs and deep water ridges I will insert a map as a visual they prefer having
deeper water to hide in during the day tiger sharks are found in seagrass beds
estuaries reefs and coastal waters warm lagoons and near sea shelves they are a
saltwater shark but occasionally swim near freshwater runoff they have been
seen in water that ranges in depth from 3 to 145 meters or 9 to 475 feet deep
what are we looking for when observing a tiger shark tiger sharks are sexually
dimorphic the females are larger than the males on average these sharks grow
to 3.25 to 4.25 or ten feet 8 inches and
13 feet 11 inches large females have been recorded at five meters
it's a pretty big shark they are blue to green in color this
helps them camouflage into the deep water they're countershaded which means
that they are darker on the top than the bottom
this helps the shark hide when viewed from the top or the bottom they are one
of the largest sharks next to the great white and the whale shark this shark has
a blunt flat nose it is almost squared off when viewed from above
why is this shark known as the tiger shark it is because it has dark bands
that look like a tiger stripes these stripes are located along the sides of
the shark just behind the head along to the tail the dark coloring fades as the
shark ages all sharks have lateral lines running along the sides of
their body this is a highly sensitive organ that can sense movement this allows
the shark to determine if there is prey nearby the bottom of the nose also
has sensors dotted along the surface these sensors are known as ampullae of
Lorenzini there are tiny pits that have electric sensors inside this allows the
shark to have an extra sense all animals give off electric signals from their
body the shark has adapted something that allows them to detect this electric
signal this allows them to see in murky water and at night tiger sharks are
nocturnal so that's why they would need to see in the dark some species of shark
can detect prey that is hidden in the sand the tiger shark has unique teeth
these teeth are sharp and serrated but they're pointing to the side and not
straight down their teeth are made for cutting and
slicing the tiger shark is not a fast swimmer and they don't like sprinting they
tend to cruise through the water and use bursts of speed to surprise the prey
this begs the question what do tiger sharks eat they are known to eat fish
mollusks crustaceans sea birds sea turtles mammals and other species of
shark their jaw is so strong that it can crush a sea turtles shell this ability
to crush shells is also seen in the design of the teeth if the teeth were
sharp and pointy then they would snap off and break
instead they're an angle and best use for crushing and cutting sharks have
many teeth that are replaceable but it still helps to preserve them in fact
tiger sharks will eat about anything that is in their way even junk or trash
it has been recorded that plastic bags litter and even in license plate has
been found in the stomach contents of a tiger shark
how are the tiger sharks doing the IUCN Red List has them listed as near
threatened the sharks population is strong but decreasing there is stress
due to fishing bycatch and even shark fins shark fins are used in shark's fin
soup and have been thought to have medicinal purposes this is just not true
it's really sad people cut off the fins of the shark and leave the body to die
it's not just with this shark but many shark species if this behavior does not
stop we can see a further decrease in the population causing them to become
threatened or even extinct the thought the thought of a shark attack on people
is scary just be smart when going out to the ocean
since this animal is nocturnal stay out of the water around dawn dusk and at
night also if the water is murky like after a storm or a hurricane just stay
out of the water I know it's hard to stay safe or stay out of the water when
you've been planning your trip for months but it is better to swim in clear
water than to go home with a sweet story about how you got those scars sharks
explore their surroundings with their mouth just like a dog or a baby
unfortunately their mouth is lined with tons of teeth
let's move on to my personal encounter with this tiger shark I go to Maui
almost every year I swim in the sheltered waters although I am a
competitive swimmer I give respect to the oceans it is awesome swimming with
three Turtles but it means that my head is on a constant swivel I have only seen
reef sharks and black tip sharks in the wild
I would love to dive with the wild tiger sharks but this encounter was at the
Maui ocean center when I was there last summer the aquarium got a new
juvenile tiger shark I wanted to show you its beautiful patterns which meant I
wanted to get a shot of the full side this is tricky when the shark is in a
huge tank to swim in it is also tricky to get a photo that is not distorted by
the thick acrylic glass this female tiger shark was swimming around the tank
just cruising I got to witness the shark feeding as well they threw in tons of
fish and it started a feeding frenzy in this whole tank the tiger shark would
swoop in and grab a big chunk of fish it looks so sleek and beautiful it made me
want to dive with them in the wild I know there is a lot of fear when it
comes to sharks but I really don't see it I just see a beautiful fish that
needs to be respected I spent roughly one hour in this part of the aquarium
there's just so much to see and so much to do while at this at this aquarium
that you just lose track of time wel now speaking about time I will call
this adventure and painting finished
