This Georgia Reverend Once Officiated 11 Weddings In A Day – Bonus Cut! | Southern Living - Duration: 3:01.

When people ask me what I do, I say I marry people.

The reason I started doing more than one

wedding a day originally was financial.

That has since gone from a few weddings

in one day to several weddings in a day.

(uplifting music)

The most I ever did was 11 weddings in one day

and it happened to be on 11/11/11

where I had 11 different ceremonies throughout the day.

I never knew that somebody could do wedding officiating

for a living, let alone doing it for the enjoyment of it.

But nearly 13,000 people later,

like 6,500 weddings later, I'm doing it and I love it.

It's great.

We'll talk about how you get here in a minute,

but when you come down here you're

gonna have flowers in that hand?

Yes.

Probably?

I give couples the ceremony that they want,

About a five.

Yeah, you just have to watch where you walk.

The grass is a little fluffy.

Uh, no.

That's not the reason.

Cause yes, cause not everybody picks up after their dog.

You can walk through any square, any park here in Savannah,

And that's what is brought to weddings as well.

When you have a church wedding,

the grand entrance is when the doors open

and the bride walks down the aisle.

Here in the South, if you have

Please rise for the bride.

ETZ: Research on the benefits of 3D printing in a trauma hospital - Duration: 3:37.

Within 24 hours we have our 3D printed part ready

to give to the surgeon to ensure a proper care and a good evaluation for the surgery

I am Lars Brouwers, I am a surgical resident in training

And furthermore I am a medical researcher

I investigate the added value of 3D printing in complex fractures, and especially acetabular fractures

The Elisabeth-TweeSteden hospital is a major level one trauma center in the southern part of the Netherlands

and we take care of almost all the heavily injured patients

and they arrive on a daily base by helicopter or ambulance

We know it is very hard to understand the fracture patterns of complex fractures

by using only 2DCT or X-ray

We started to print with the Ultimaker

Our goal was to investigate if 3D printing can be of added value in classifying acetabular fractures

Because of the classification some people will take other steps or other types of surgery

It works like this: the patient arrives in our hospital by helicopter or ambulance

Once we investigated the patient we will make a CT-scan and a X-ray of the injured part of the patient

Once the CT is ready we have got our DICOM files

Within 5 or 10 minutes our DICOM files are ready to convert into a STL file, and finally into a 3d print file

So within a half hour after arriving of the patient in the hospital our Ultimaker is up and running

Within 24 hours the print is ready to give to the surgeon or resident to ensure a good evaluation for the surgery

We need to explain the operation to the patient

using X-ray and 2DCT can be very hard for the patient to understand what is going to happen in his or her body

and with help of a 3D printed model we think that our explanation can be more clear, can be better

and a patient has got a better understanding of what we are doing

and what he or she has to do after the operation

The most important conclusions of our research is that 3D printing is of added value

We measure the classification in terms of interobserver agreements and we call it Kappa

a Kappa of 0 means that there is no agreement over the classification

a Kappa of 1 means that there is a total agreement between the observers

We noticed that when using X-ray and 2DCT

the most experienced surgeons and the students only reached a Kappa of 0.2

But when the used 3D printed models they reached a Kappa of almost 0.7

which internationally can be seen as a good interobserver agreement between the observers

That is really showing us that 3D printing can be of added value, especially for the younger generation

By doing a lot of research we hope that we can prove that 3D printing can be of added value

in patient satisfaction

in surgical satisfaction

in reduction of operation time

and in the health related quality of life for the patient

because that is the most important thing

Arteza Haul DIY Acrylic Color Mixing Chart and Canvas Panel Review - Duration: 13:03.

all right welcome to my Arteza color swatching review of the Arteza premium

acrylic paints and Arteza canvas panel so this canvas panel this is an eleven

by fourteen and it says that this board core is made of acid-free recycled paper

and the primed acid-free acrylic titanium gesso is used for the canvas it

is actual real canvas on the outside of this board unlike that this is a student

level board I would not use it for a permanent painting it is very flexible

and they do not recommend it for heavy wet purposes so that being said it feels

like a nice canvas panel to do a swatching board on I also have the box

of 14 Arteza acrylic colors and these are the premiums and each one of these

little pouches holds 120 mils which is about 4 ounces so I have these pouches

instead of regular tubes so they have little twist off tops that have a lock

strip on them so I have not even opened any of these paints yet there we go

so 14 colors neat thing about these pouches they have a clear bottom on them

so you can see the color the actual color not just the printed color

however the printed color on the pouch here because that's not a clear window

really matches so they got that really well they also have on every one of

their pouches the color name of the paint the light fast if it is

transparent translucent or opaque so this ultramarine blue is a transparent

color and it is made from pigment blue pb29 these scarlet

is a light fast color it is a semi-transparent and it is PR pigment

red 21 I will be putting out every single one of these colors and I'm going

to swatch and color mix all of the colors together I'm not going to make

you watch me do that in slow motion this is going to take me a little while so I

am going to be putting this into fast-forward but to start off with I do

want to put some of these colors out so that's my first time opening that white

the cap feels nice it's big enough to put on and take off and it seems to

tighten down all the way so I'm not having a problem with that you just

squeeze these are supposed to be a heavy body style paint it feels very soft and

buttery so you can lemon yellow and I'm just opening every one of these and you

see how that little plastic locking ring pops loose and I you can be pretty

pretty accurate with the amount of paint you squeeze out also so that's lemon

yellow yellow ochre so soft buttery buttery they do have two metallic colors

in here and I've put them right in to the middle of my color swatch board

because what I did is I just counted count it off the number wrote them out

and then I use the back of the box and just wrote the colors down in the order

of the back of the box lots of fun but not necessarily going to be as accurate

in a color color wheel or something like that now

these are kind of the pouches being the way they are they feel a little bit like

those little fruit pouches the fruit sauce pouches that you get for like

little kids so I don't know how durable they are

I haven't had had it long enough so I'm on burnt sienna that's burnt umber burnt

sienna burnt sienna nice and smooth now in in another brand of paint that I

happen to like the burnt sienna and the burnt umber can be a little bit chunky

this one doesn't seem to be this is the crimson red oh shoot

I got crimson and this is crimson red oh darn okay I'm going to have to move that

this is the scarlet red the scarlet red is much more like a CAD type red it's an

orange II red the crimson red is a blue red alright so and then burnt umber so

this was burnt sienna and this is burnt umber and apparently there can be air

bubbles inside of these pouches so something else to be aware of that was

exciting

so I'm basing this on how to do a color chart that I found on the art Sherpa

back in her art quest 2016 her first art quest

she had a how to take all your colors and make a color chart so if you're

interested in that there will be a link down below in my more information box I

am using a number for cats tongue by the art Sherpa and silver brush company it's

becoming one of my favorite brushes and I do not want to use too much water so I

just got my brush wet and then I dried it off on my little towel so first

square is not going to be very exciting it's just gonna be white I'm gonna work

my way across and down and I'm going to try and mix 50/50 when it is a mixed

color so that gets you going on that and now I'm just going to work my way around

my board

you

okay folks this whole thing took me over four and a half hours to do I am proud

of myself and I hope that you are proud of me too looking at it from a distance

this is really pretty there are so many different colors and variations all from

just 14 colors I have a whole line of silver here mixed with all of the colors

and a line of silver here mixed with all the colors so I did duplicate but I also

did slightly different mixes you know maybe a little bit more crimson red in

this one and a little more Mars black in that one those types of changes so I

have variations nothing is exactly the same this is a very nice student grade

paint it does not cover really well in the first try the white is very thin the

white is very thin it would take multiple coats of this white to get a

real white white white if you're putting it over the top of another color so just

to let you know that but I would recommend this as a paint to use that's

very economical it's you know twenty-something or 30 something dollars

for 14 of these 4 ounce pouches of color and that's that's way better than the

price of some of the other student paints that you can find so check the

description box down below I have my 10% off coupon code for you and the link to

the are teaser website I hope that you enjoyed the process if you liked this

Berlin-based start-up Kaffeeform turns used coffee into fresh products - Duration: 3:02.

As a product designer, I'm always on the lookout for new ideas and inspiration.

I look around, I look at things

and think whether I would have done them this way, too, or whether I would have improved them somehow.

I started looking at coffee grounds differently while studying in Italy.

My colleagues and I drank a huge amount of coffee back then

and I thought to myself, just for fun:

"What actually happens to all the coffee we consume each day?

Do we just throw it away?"

I am Julian Lechner and I founded Kaffeeform,

a company interested in recycling coffee and manufacturing products from it.

We obtain our coffee grounds from Kreuzberg, here in Berlin.

We're linked to lots of local cafés and restaurants

that collect approximately a tonne of coffee grounds for us per year.

This is 50,000 portions of coffee

that are then reworked into a solid material.

From the get-go, Berlin was a blank canvas upon which we could let the Kaffeeform idea take shape.

There are a great deal of cafés here, as well as open-minded baristas

who donate their coffee grounds because they want to try out new products.

Indeed, we're all developing this idea together, piece by piece.

After the product was tested and there was feedback on it,

it was in high demand as a takeaway coffee cup.

Then I thought: "Wow! It must be possible to manufacture it out of this material."

Ten months of development later, and the first cup in our range is finally ready.

The material has a great deal of qualities.

Among other things, it's extremely robust and has great insulation.

Recycling coffee grounds to produce this material means

that certain petroleum-based raw materials can be substituted.

This can lower CO₂ emissions.

In addition, cups for lattes are very much desired,

maybe even complete tabletops or surfaces for counters in the bar area.

The possibilities of what we could make are endless.

For me, Kaffeeform means the freedom to now be able to develop products

I'm proud of, for which I can develop each process myself,

refining the details and only bringing them onto the market

when the work completely.

I have direct contact with clients, receive feedback directly

and can approach things in just the way I want to.
