Hi welcome to my Google home assistant. I built and assembled this Google home

assistant with the help of Google HAT board and Raspberry Pi 3 for computation

and I had to buy some other things. The cost for building this Google Home

Assistant is less than half the cost of current Google home price, available in

market. So it is an awesome product I must say. So let's test it. "OK Google"- who

6 FALSE FRIENDS in German and English!! - Duration: 5:45.

Winken or winken or zwinkern...I'm so confused.

Hey everyone! I'm Dana and you're watching Wanted Adventure Living Abroad.

Way back at the very beginning of the Wanted Adventure Living Abroad series I made two

videos on German-English false friends, and then never talked about them again.

If by the way, if you'd like to see some videos from the beginning I will leave those

down in the description, although it's a little hard for me to watch old videos.

But anyway, it is finally time for some more of those false friends to watch out for.

Let's just jump right in then with this one, that English speakers might be a little

surprised to learn actually has something in common with the birth control video that

I recently made. Why? Because in German this word means condom.

Whereas in English a preservative could be, for example, some kind of substance that is

added to food so that the food stays good for longer.

It helps preserve the food; preservative.

This one gets me every single time.

I just cannot seem to keep it straight.

Okay, in English to wink is this, whereas in German that is zwinkern, and winken means

to wave.

But it just hurts my brain so much that it's not winken.

No, winken.

Trixi over on the YouTube channel Don't Trust The Rabbit is prägnant...right?

Eh, wait a second!

This word does not mean what you might think it means.

The German word for being pregnant is schwanger.

While prägnant is actually the German word for concise.

So prägnant is not the same thing as pregnant.

Those two words do not mean the same thing.

And actually, now that I think about it, by the time this video comes out Trixi might

not be pregnant either, the second baby bunny might have already been born.

down in the description.

The first time that I heard about the German word Schellfisch I was sure that it meant,

well, shellfish.

But it wouldn't be in this video if it did, now would it.

Nope, in English shellfish describes a kind of seafood with "shells," such as lobster,

shrimp, oysters.

But the German word Schellfisch is simply a kind of fish.

Specifically a haddock in English.

So Schellfisch is not shellfish.

But is shellfish selfish?

Is shellfish shelf fish?

Is shellfish selfish shelf fish?

Try to say that 10 times fast.

When Stefan first told me that we were going to visit the Kölner Dom, and then we showed

up at a cathedral with no dome, I was a little confused, but I figured it out quickly enough.

In German Dom means cathedral, while the English word dome is Kuppel in German.

And lastly, another one that I definitely have trouble keeping straight.

I cannot tell you how many I have said "Ich wundere mich, was wir morgen machen soll,"

or something like that, using wundern as the same as the English wonder, which it is not.

In German sich wundern means to be surprised and the English word wonder can mean

sich fragen in German.

I wonder if maybe one day I will get it right.

So my question for you is: please tell me your false friend stories and mistakes.

Ox & Karius key as front three deliver again – 5 talking points from Liverpool 2–0 Newcastle

Liverpool made it four consecutive wins in all competitions to ruin Rafa Benitez's Anfield reunion with a 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.

There were a number of impressive individual displays at Anfield, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain caught the eye in particular with an influential and dynamic display.

Oxlade-Chamberlain – The Midfield Driving Force.

The summer signing was a busy presence throughout but most pleasing to see was his power and determination from the middle of the park which drove the Reds forward.

It was best illustrated in his assist for Mohamed Salah's opener—his fourth for the 32-goal man so far—as he collected possession and took responsibility with a purposeful run before sliding the Egyptian on goal with a perfectly timed and weighted pass.

Such incisive bursts were regularly produced, and it's a key feature of Oxlade-Chamberlain's play as also seen for his superb solo strike against Man City.

It's this ability to inject such tempo into play and turn stable possession into an attacking break in the blink of an eye that can be crucial to breaking down the deep-sitting sides—as it did here.

Eyebrows were raised when Klopp handed Oxlade-Chamberlain the central role he had long craved, but it is clearly his best position as he proved once again at Anfield.

Lethal Trio Thriving Under Pressure.

Philippe Coutinho's departure was something critics insisted would break Liverpool's season, let alone just the 'Fab Four' tandem.

But it's had totally the opposite effect as the remarkable Lethal Three have flourished under extra pressure, performing beyond Kopites' wildest dreams without the man who supposedly made it click.

Goal today from Salah and Sadio Mane—courtesy of Roberto Firmino's assist—mean that since becoming a trio on the turn of the year they have scored 22 of Liverpool's 28 goals, also boasting a staggering 68 goals between them this season.

They have consistently produced big moments and, in turn, big results and yet even as the pressure increases and the business end of the season arrives, they show no signs of stopping.

Maintaining this incredible ability to perform so effortlessly under intense pressure will be key to carrying the Reds over the line in the top-four race. It could bring even greater rewards in the Champions League, and don't bet against them delivering.

Karius Comes Up Big Again.

It is standard procedure in football for the goalscorers to grab the headlines, but that the Reds collected another vital three points at Anfield was partly down to their German 'keeper.

With the Reds having switched off after taking the lead, Loris Karius came up trumps to pull off a truly world-class save from Mohamed Diame's curler that was destined for the top corner.

Coming right on the stroke of half-time, the full-stretch stop ensured Liverpool got in at the break ahead and provided an injection of belief in those around him to pick it up again.

This was just the latest in a series of impressive stops at big, big moments from Karius—adding to his Harry Kane penalty save and the stunning finger-tip stop to deny West Ham's Marko Arnautovic last weekend.

Karius is beginning to show the quality Klopp always knew he had, but now enjoying a run of games that should have come earlier, he's showing he could yet be the long-term solution between the sticks.

A Properly Enjoyable Reunion…At Last.

A reunion with Rafa is always a special occasion—even more so when it's at Anfield—but it's fair to say they have been more enjoyable for the man himself than Liverpool.

Indeed, all three get-togethers had gone perfectly for Rafa since he has taken over at Newcastle—a day of celebration topped off by a positive result in taking a point from the Reds on three separate occasions.

Alas, there can be no denying it was about time Kopites experienced the best of both worlds, as Klopp acknowledged pre-match in calling for his team to present no more gifts to Rafa with surrendered leads.

And that now happens after Klopp's men claimed Liverpool's first-ever win against Benitez at the sixth attempt.

Victory in this crucially timed reunion was vital and ensures the final 10-game sprint gets off to a perfect start while momentum is maintained ahead of two big games. Sorry to ruin your day Rafa, we all still love you.

Porto Rotation Key to Old Trafford Success.

Two key games in contrasting ways follow as the Reds try to navigate the Porto second leg as smoothly as possible before a huge battle with Man United.

Rotation in that Champions League tie will be key to being successful in the more testing fixture at Old Trafford and Liverpool's dominant position gives Klopp every opportunity.

Klopp insists wholesale changes won't be made in midweek, likely to avoid complications on what should be a straightforward night.

But with an almost unassailable lead, the chance must be taken to manage key players ahead of Saturday's showdown and give fringe members a run-out to keep up to speed.

Though Porto arrive in form and determined to restore pride, the Reds are strong enough to avoid a PSG-style collapse even without defensive stalwarts Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Emre Can.

Most crucially, two of the front three can also be preserved to recharge—with Adam Lallana, an in-form Oxlade-Chamberlain and Danny Ings all available.

Liverpool often produce their best when freshest, and arriving at Old Trafford with main men in peak condition after a professional second-leg win will be key to doing so again.

Liverpool 2-0 Newcastle: Reds seal first-ever win over Rafa to continue fine run

Liverpool produced a professional display at Anfield on Saturday evening, on their way to a 2-0 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League.

The Reds set out for another Anfield outing looking for their first win over former manager Rafa Benitez, with their Saturday evening kickoff demanding three points.

With top-four rivals Tottenham moving into third with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town earlier in the day, Liverpool needed a victory to ensure they kept up the pace, moving back up to second.

As his side hold a comfortable five-goal lead over Porto ahead of Tuesday nights Champions League last-16 second-leg clash, Jurgen Klopp was able to make just two changes to his starting lineup for the weekend.

Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson returned to the side to replace Joel Matip and James Milner, with the Reds going all-out for the win—and doing just that.

Klopp makes two changes with three points in his sights. Salah nets 32nd goal of the season to opening the scoring. Mane doubles lead after excellent sweeping team move. Liverpool seal first-ever victory in six games against Benitez.

Reds move up to second with Man United clash crucial.

With Benitez conceding before the game that he had set his side up to soak up pressure and break on the counter, it was no surprise to see Liverpool in control in the early stages.

Mohamed Salah was bright throughout, drawing a brave block from Paul Dummett with an effort in the box and striking the post with a volley as a long ball dropped over his shoulder.

The Egyptian was the Reds conductor in the final third, and it was his corner that led to a pair of chances for Dejan Lovren, blocked first by Martin Dubravka and then Mikel Merino.

But with Liverpool keeping up their momentum, it was Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain whose drive into the final third that crafted the opener, laying the ball into the path of Salah who made light work of it for 1-0.

Newcastle found a rare opening after that goal, with Loris Karius forced to make an excellent save to deny Mo Diame and retain the lead going into half-time.

The second half began with a penalty call waved away by referee Graham Scott after the ball struck Jamaal Lascelles in the box, but it wasnt long before Liverpool, had their second goal.

It came to Sadio Mane to convert after a fine one-touch move by the home side, with Roberto Firmino threading the ball through for his strike partner to fire past Dubravka to make it 2-0.

Likely with an eye on starting the Senegalese against Porto, Klopp withdrew Mane with just over 15 minutes to play, with Adam Lallana taking his place for a rare outing.

The Reds kept probing for a third goal, looking to take advantage of a more adventurous approach from Benitez in the closing stages, with Henderson seeing a rare effort blocked for a corner.

Klopp made his final change in the closing stages, bringing on Joel Matip in place of Firmino to tighten things up at the back as Liverpool saw out another priceless victory. TIA Man of the Match: Sadio Mane.

for America's pastor Billy Graham continued this week as former presidents

and politicians pay their respect to the man who served God with all his heart

this past week we have seen former President George W Bush and former

President Bill Clinton honoring Reverend Billy Graham in separate services with

President Trump attending Graham's funeral on Friday however there is one

previous president that has decided to skip Reverend Billy Graham's funeral

service and it really comes as no surprise former President Barack Obama

announced that he would not attend the funeral services of the beloved Reverend

but instead will focus on his own personal interests instead during

Obama's presidency he claimed to the world that he was a Christian and that

he supported religious freedom however that turned out not to be the case as

Obama did all that he could to target Christians with his actions and policies

for instance who could forget Obama's stance on Hobby Lobby when they pushed

back against his unconstitutional Obamacare mandate forcing employers to

provide birth control or his statement saying that rural Americans were foolish

people who clung to their religion and guns with all that being said it comes

as no surprise that when Reverend Billy Graham passed away last week that Obama

would not be a part of the memorial services to honor his life though while

Obama's snub is predictable what he is choosing to do that day is needless to

say is disgusting Barack Obama announced that he was

choosing to skip the memorial for Graham and instead would travel to his hometown

of Chicago to promote the building of his Presidential Library dot here is

more from the Western Journal Barack Obama has chosen not to participate in

any of the events honoring evangelist Billy Graham this week but he did carve

out time to make a surprise visit to a community meeting in Chicago to promote

the building of his Presidential Library Graham met and in some cases became

close friends with every president from Harry Truman to Obama during his tenure

as America's pastor which stretched from the 1940s to the 21st century he in fact

also earned the moniker of pastor to the presidents

Trump was not able to meet with Graham as president but was on hand to help

celebrate the preachers 95th birthday in 2013 Obama met Graham in the spring of

2010 at the evangelists home in Montreat North Carolina as reported by the

Western journal George W Bush and his wife Laura traveled to Graham's library

in Charlotte on Monday to pay their respects to the late Christian leader

Bush also came bearing greetings from his 93 year old father George HW Bush

the nation's 41st president saying I know he wished he could come too but

he's not moving around much these days but his spirit and heart is here former

President Jimmy Carter also 93 and has experienced health challenges sent his

regrets former President Bill Clinton like

George W Bush made the journey to Charlotte on Tuesday Clinton told

reporters that he first heard Graham preach in Little Rock Arkansas when the

future politician was an eleven-year-old boy he said meeting him later as an

adult was one of the most memorable events of his life

Clinton noted that Graham demanded that his 1959 Little Rock Crusade be

integrated and threatened to pull out when city leaders resisted the pastor

also became a strong supporter of dr. Martin Luther King jr. s fight for

racial equality the ground at the foot of the cross is level and it touches my

heart when I see whites standing shoulder to shoulder with blacks at the

cross Graham said The Associated Press reported on Monday that Obama is not

planning to attend memorial services for the late evangelist Reverend Billy

Graham this week as previously stated it comes as no big shock that Barack Obama

would not attend the funeral services and to be perfectly honest why would he

for years Obama mocked the Christian faith with his attitude and

administrative policies that created tremendous disrespect toward Christians

and that is not about to change after Graham's death it is evident to the

world that Obama only cares about one thing and that is his legacy and he is

not about to let Graham overshadow him at least Graham will be laid to rest

surrounded by people that honor and respect him and not have someone attend

his services that could care less about the Christian faith thanks for watch
