Youtube daily Mar 5 2018

this could be the greatest time you ever

live if you control what you focus on if

you find a more empowering meaning and

if you decide to model the actions of

those who succeeded before you it can be

the best financial time the best

emotional time that a spiritual time of

your life but you better take control of

your state and if you think you're gonna

do it just by today you're wrong you're

gonna need to get yourself some rituals

right now every one of you this room is

controlled by your rituals I don't just

mean this one I mean every morning you

get up I know your body I can look at

your body right now and I can guess your

rituals some of you your rituals to work

out five times a week I can see it

clearly four to six times a week

it's obvious because you couldn't look

like that if you didn't do that some

form of workout I don't care if it's

walking lifting whatever some of you

it's obvious it lifting weights as part

of you can see by that man's muscles I

know I know what his rituals are because

your life comes from your rituals but

you don't develop the ritual you're

kidding yourself how many degrees me on

this raising and say I and there are

rituals to put you in state their

rituals to take you out of state you go

rituals in your relationship you've

rituals with your body you have rituals

run your finances and the rituals that

worked in the reaping time of fall and

the markets and in business and in real

estate those rituals won't work now if

you do the right thing at the wrong time

you get pain I'll say that again if you

do the right you gonna tell me I'm doing

the right thing but I'm not being

rewarded if you do the right thing at

the wrong time you don't get rewarded

you get pain so you better do the right

thing at the right time and to do that

you better know what season you're in to

do that you better learn how to change

your state how to take control of your

own conditioning that's what I live for

does this make sense to you yes or no

come on guys yes or no so now it's time

to train yourself to do that I'll show

you how fast it can change try this just

for a second I want to show you what you

can do with just focus try this for a

moment I'm gonna give you a test sit up

in your chair with some energy make sure

buddy next using a strong state if will

otherwise adjust their state come on

change your physiology what are they

gonna do see if they're ticklish that

might help

cuz seek and you shall that's right

whatever you focus on you're gonna find

it in fact let me tell you something

you'll even find it

it's not there how many saw burgundy

called it red just so you can have more

things you counted raise your hand say

aye

come on see whatever you're looking for

you're gonna find so if you want to

change your life my friends you've got

to change your physiology and you got to

change your focus by the way how fast

can you change that stuff how fast my

friends how fast how fast come on and a

heartbeat once you reach Ange you're

conditioning that's all you got to do

ain't gonna fast you do it a question or

two try this right now answer this

question in your mind and be honest what

in your life today if you want it to be

could you feel proud about right now if

you wanted to feel proud if you didn't

elect I shouldn't be proud if you want

to feel proud what could you be proud of

in your life today your children your

health your body is there a problem

you've faced and instead of running from

it you finally stepped up and handled it

could you feel proud of in your life

today if you wanted to feel proud how

many could bigger something and when you

think about this thing you're proud of

what about that makes you feel proud

what do you focus on that makes you feel

proud how do you breathe when you really

start to feel proud what kind of look on

your face starts to happen when you let

yourself feel proud yeah how does it

feel

hmm

think of another area line think of any

of your life that you're grateful for or

I'm not grateful if you wanted to be

grateful what's an area you could feel

grateful for I think you feel grateful

for if you really wanted to feel great

I'm gonna think of something you can

feel grateful for here's your hands and

what about that are you grateful for

what do you focus on that makes you feel

grateful how does it feel when you're

really truly feeling filled with

gratitude here's one if you wanted to be

excited about your life right now and

you're willing to be excited you wrote a

book everybody else's trend what could

you feel excited about in your life if

you wanted to feel excited what could

you get excited about if you really

focused on it and you really took it in

and you weren't in a negative place what

could you get excited about if you

wanted to be excited in your life what

could you get excited about

[Music]

how many of you can think of something

you feel excited about right now right

um let me see your hand say I when

you're really excited about it what

about that excites you or when you're

really excited how do you feel how do

you speak what's your life like by the

way when you're excited does it tend to

touch other people yes or no absolutely

by the way do people have a tendency but

who feels different right now they're

just even a couple moments ago raise

your hand say aye

why because focus is controlled by

questions if you ask a different

question continuously that once

continuously you will get a different

answer if you ask a lousy question he

get allows the answer in a lousy state

so he said why does this always happen

to me it doesn't always happen to you

but the brains like a computer ask it a

question it'll have to come up with an

answer because you deserve it you idiot

someone will say how come I can never

lose weight you can't lose weight but if

you keep saying how come I can't ever

lose weight the brains gotta come answer

goes you're a pig lousy questions create

what lousy answers ask a better question

get a better answer now here's what I

want you to get I want you to get that

you can change your state how fast guys

how fast how fast and if you get the

habit of doing it you have a different

life

you know any Success Program that I've

ever had the good fortune to go through

whether it be a good book a good set of

tapes a good seminar almost every single

one talks about the power of

goal-setting why because it's a

fundamental key to all lifelong success

plans you could possibly imagine the

challenge of course is we hear it so

often we tend to take it just a little

bit for granted don't we I mean get

yourself in a point where you've heard

it so often you going please don't talk

about goal-setting you know I know all

about it yes I should make sure my goals

are stated in the positive yes I should

write them down yeah I know all that

stuff come on

but you know what you got to be careful

not to get caught in that trap called

the law of familiarity you know where

you get so used to it you begin to take

it just a little bit for granted

cuz fundamentals have to be practiced

daily Hey

think about the greatest coaches that

you can think of and sports history

names that come up for me are names like

Vince Lombardi for example or John

Wooden what were they known most for

teaching fundamentals to people that

were already the best at what they do I

mean think about it John Wooden would

take a basketball player a kid who is

the best in the world at what he does

virtually at least for his age group and

he can make a shot from virtually

anywhere and ego that's really cute kid

get over here and I want you to shoot

four hundred free throws and gets this I

can do that is it yeah well let's see

you do it or come up here and I want to

see you shoot five hundred bank shots

from five feet well I can do that the

kid would say he goes yeah I know you

can do it you're gonna do it every day

this many times so that you do it in the

key clutch moments you got a practice

fundamentals every day he went 11

consecutive national championships

unlike any team in history that's the

power of fundamentals so anytime I do a

workshop any time I try and do tapes

usually I put a goal-setting workshop in

there and some of them have some

similarity say if you've done one with

me before he has a chance to do it again

and do it even more effectively and

variably when I hear people say

something like I'll teach me something

new I know they aren't into mastery

because repetition again is the mother

of skill you've heard me say that over

and over again it's because if you want

a man

to anything you've got to do it over and

over and over again and every time I do

a goal-setting workshop myself I

obviously make new distinctions I set up

some new goals they change so don't take

it for granted and say well these two

tapes are on goals and they're short and

they're simple and I can do that some

other time I already know my goals don't

get caught in that hook the bottom line

is do the exercise as if you're setting

goals brand-new and fresh and for most

people they don't have a clearly defined

set of goals anyway again you know I'm

now taking Taekwondo and I have the good

fortune of training with the Grand

Master of Taekwondo in the United States

his name is Grand Master jewelry an

interesting thing about jewelry as a

master as he taught me something he

taught me to go from the frame of

mastering simple things over and over

again everything he teaches to become a

black belt breaks them as seven simple

moves

isn't that interesting now what's

interesting is he says that most people

never make it to black belt because they

keep coming and say show me something

new he said no no no you have to master

the fundamentals and if you do those you

do them over and over again you'll be a

black belt easily and consistently so

don't get caught in those traps break

through the bonds of your past and look

at the world in a whole new way where

you understand fundamentals must be

practiced daily and you'll do whatever

it takes you're not bored by

fundamentals you get excited about doing

the daily things to create the ongoing

level of happiness enjoy you want for a

lifetime now let's take a quick look

what is the power of goals why don't we

talk about them so much why don't we

want you to use them why are they

important answer with goals we create

the future in advance we create our

destiny we shape our lives hey we all

have goals whether we know it or not the

problem is some people have really lousy

goals and whatever your goals are

they're affecting you maybe your goals

are to get through this day maybe the

goals are how to pay the lousy bills

the problem with goals like that is they

don't exactly inspire you and get you to

jump out of bed early in the morning

saying I can't wait to go out today and

pay my lousy bills rarely does that

really create a motion and drive inside

of you

goals can create the power to make us

grow and expand and develop our success

but we've got to have something out

there that's compelling enough to draw

us forth

done

properly and specifically they transform

our lives one of my best and favorite

examples is a study that was done in

1953 at Yale University what they did

there was an intensive study where they

interviewed the graduating class just

before they left school and they asked

him a whole series of questions but the

one that was most interesting for me was

they asked them how many of you have a

clear specific set of goals with a

written plan for their achievement well

interestingly enough as you might guess

less than 3% had a set of written goals

with a plan 20 years later in 1973 they

went back and interviewed the surviving

class members of the class of 53 and

they interviewed these people to find

out what were their lives like well the

interesting thing was the 3% that had

written goals that specifically had a

plan for their attainment appear to be

happier more well-adjusted more excited

about their life as a whole but see

those things are subjective the one

thing that's very measurable is this the

group of people who had written goals

were worth more in financial terms than

the entire other 97% that didn't have

goals combined think about that that's

the power of goal-setting I can tell you

in my own life it has transformed me

that you can know all the techniques of

how to condition yourself to succeed but

if you don't know why you're doing it

and you don't know what it is you're

moving towards then it's rare that

you're gonna get the most out of

yourself

years ago I had the unique good fortune

as I began to study some of these

technologies for optimum performance I

was invited to go to Russia and I spent

over there approximately two weeks

during that time I got a chance to

explore many aspects of Russia I got to

go to the universities I got to chance

to meet with some of the people who were

involved in optimum performance

technologies and in the process of doing

that I found myself on one stretch where

I was on the trans-siberian railway

where I was going literally from Moscow

all the way to Siberia and then back to

Leningrad again we're talking about a

large stretch of land and a lot of time

to just think during that time I was

just starting to develop some of my

personal power I really hadn't created

my life the way

I wanted it but I felt like there was

some possibilities out there for me I

was still living in my 400 square foot

bachelor apartment I was still

overweight I was still in a position

where I really didn't have my life where

I wanted it in terms of my relationships

but on that trip for two and a half days

all I did was set goals and then for

another two or three days all I did was

design plans and how I was gonna achieve

them and I set goals that were well

beyond my present ability or skill I had

no idea how I was gonna make them happen

and that's important but I operated from

a principle that's talked about and

every religion known to man so

regardless of what you believe

religiously or spiritually it's a common

law and that is the power of absolute

total belief and faith I operated from

the frame that if I could get inspired

enough if I found a goal that I was

exciting enough for me I would figure

out how to make it happen even though it

right now it might seem impossible I

would pull it off and I laid out goals

for my life in virtually every area

personally emotionally socially

spiritually physically financially and I

chunk down what do I want my life

ultimately and what do I want right now

and a lot of areas I thought well I can

make it happen I figured I can get

control of my emotions and so I set

goals about how I wanted to be how I

wanted to communicate how much joy I

want to have how much passion how I want

to live every single day the kind of

person I wanted to be as a human being I

described my relationships I described

the woman of my dreams in detail I took

six pages to describe exactly the kind

of person mentally emotionally socially

and spiritually I wanted my life and

physically described your in detail in

addition and describe to how I wanted my

kids to be I described everything now

you might say well gosh you know you're

really creating a lot of limitations I

set goals and I look at them and then I

review them and see if they still make

sense to me but I did it in detail I

also did it in the area of finances and

I said some pretty absurd goals I

decided I want to make a quarter of a

million dollars a year in personal

income at the time I was making less

than $3,000 a month 3,000 was a good

month guess what happened I came back I

laid out this plan in fact I did the

plan on the

of a map that I bought in Russia have it

to this day

where I broke down the whole thing I

show it often times to people my

seminars so they get an idea where I was

and what I actually created just by

designing the roadmaps necessary for

success I came back and began to

implement it a lot of my plans I have to

tell you did not work out but I achieved

over 80% of my goals in less than 12

months I mean massive change I went well

beyond anything I dreamed of I changed

myself physically I lost all the way I

changed myself emotionally and develop

the confidence that was necessary I

changed myself into my relationships

massively I attracted the one my dreams

I married her about a year after that I

had decided I wanted to have four kids I

got three instantly what a deal I was on

a roll I took myself from totally broke

financially to over a million dollar net

worth in less than 12 months you talk

about massive change my life changed in

every level I mean I can tell you how

much my confidence changed but you know

you might go a big deal

but it did my level of confidence my

level of faith my ability to create

rapport changed radically I mean I also

said Fingal's besides my personal

development goals because I had felt

confident that I could probably

accomplish some of the development

within myself but I felt like I can

control that I can't control the outside

world or my economics or have the

ability to get things that was my

hang-up at the time I set goals for

things like I was gonna have a limousine

a stretch limousine I mean how absurd

I had a car that was breaking down

continuously at a stretch limousine

within six months I mean I'm talking

about massive massive change I mean you

can't imagine the kind of miracles that

happen I know this sounds fluffy and

bizarre but it really works

I remember what first time I went to

Fiji it was my favorite place in the

world

I thought you know I've been everywhere

I've been a most major countries in the

world this is the most beautiful amazing

land I've ever been to you know I gotta

own a piece of property on this specific

Island you know I never would've fought

in a million years the two years later

after setting that goal

I don't island you don't that I own a

resort and amali

it's one of the top three resorts in

Fiji now I go there four times a year

with 20 of my best friends and we all

have a blast and we set our goals there

we look at our lives and balance and

have fun

it's amazing but there's just if you try

to tell me that two years earlier I

would have said you are absolutely

insane you're nuts there's just no way I

mean you know get real I'm here to tell

you don't get real get intelligent

because what's real to you today is

based on your past based on your past

experiences and if you limit your future

based on your past and I can go anywhere

you got to get the goals that are big

enough to drive you to excite you so

don't stop and go how do I do it that's

not the first step the first step is get

it down and if you do that you can

create your island your paradise whether

it be something emotional inside of you

you want to create like a character

change or or a behavior or habit or

whether that's a business you want to

start or when that's some kind of money

you want to earn or something you want

to do for your children and I'm telling

you it can happen the magic that you've

heard about and dreamed about is real

and it starts with a simplistic process

of taking these generalized impulses of

desire and starting to define them with

more precision this is the power of

goal-setting and we don't understand

totally how it works there's something

beyond just what we understand if

writing something down something happens

you become a creator when you write down

goals and you get clear as to absolutely

while you make them happen and by the

way that's the key that we're gonna

touch on here in detail we've got to

make sure that you not only set goals

but you get absolutely clear why you

want them because there's a fundamental

key to goal-setting that changed my life

and that is this purpose is stronger

than outcome what do I mean well I think

that the purpose of goals is not so you

get things the purpose of any goal the

real reason to set goals is what they

will make of you as a person Hey look at

the end of your life all the things that

you accumulate are not gonna make you

happy at the end of your life all you're

gonna have is who you've become as a

person the moment you've created in your

life that you'll never forget so some

people in life they go out and set goals

and they do it blindly they say these

are things I want to have in my life and

they focus let's say on things and

there's nothing wrong with focusing on

things I don't have as many things as

you want that's part of life too that's

part of the manifestation process of

creating results but if all you do is

focus on getting things

it may cost you some people in their

desire to get things have given up their

own integrity of who they want to be of

what they want to create in their life

you got to be careful of that you got to

make sure when you set a goal you know

why you're doing it

hey you might work real hard for example

to do something on a thing oriented

let's say you want to make a million

dollars but see a million dollars only

motivates you so much

becoming the kind of person who is able

to manifest total abundance financially

and physically for themselves and the

people around them that's rather

exciting having the freedom that you

think the money will give you or having

the ability to give or having the

ability to do things that you think that

money will give you are having more time

that'll motivate you a lot more than

just the money does that make sense

the problem with setting goals is one

most people take them for granted they

don't do it seriously and they don't do

it consistently they do it once a year

and they do it at new years they run

another new year syndrome they set a

goal and they don't even look at it to

all year later they go loops I kind of

screwed up and they set a new one so

they have no power

secondly they don't realize the power of

goals they take it lightly you know they

go well you know yeah I got these goals

but they don't make sure that they get

it inside their head where it's

absolutely real for them they don't

realize that when they set a goal

they're now creating something in life

and finally the biggest challenge I

think is that these people don't know

why they're going for their goals so the

object the goal itself yeah they get

enthusiastic for a while and then it

dies out again why is different for

everyone but you got to find out their

reasons I believe this reasons come

first answers come second if you get a

big enough reasons to do something to

accomplish something you can figure out

how to do it but if all you do is set up

a goal and say oh my gosh how am I gonna

about it you're not gonna be inspired

enough it's not going to be compelling

enough for you to really create

long-term results every great success I

know has figure out the why behind their

goals and that's their power so in our

process on the next tape tomorrow when

we do the goal-setting workshop itself

we're gonna spend a good deal of time

focusing on why do we want these goals

after we've identified them and secondly

how we're gonna go about making it

happen but that's secondly we're gonna

start from the frame that

can achieve anything as soon as we think

of it somebody wants to point it out to

me a long time ago the desire in its

latin form means of the father desire I

thought that's interesting in other

words anything that I desire that

thought process has been given to me and

with the ability to have a goal I

believe instantly comes the ability to

achieve it that ability is built within

us or we wouldn't have the desire in the

first place so come from that place and

watch what you can do to create our new

reality of success in your life now I've

got a question for you do you know why

goals really work well there are lots of

theories but I'll tell you what a few of

mine are number one I believe that

thoughts are things that whenever we

focus on consistently we experience in

our life you and I know that's true from

what we've talked about earlier in this

tape that if I pay attention to one area

in my life and I focus on it that's

what's gonna be real for me that's what

I'm gonna feel I also believe that

whatever we focus on consistently that

our thoughts are things that as you

think so you create so you manifest so

part of goal-setting is just by having

that focus and again having a consistent

focus you can't just set goals one time

and then ever look at them again and

really expect long-term results although

hey that's better than not having any

target at all least your subconscious

mind knows the general direction to move

in but the power is doing it

consistently reviewing them but point

number one is I really believe that if

you focus on something you'll experience

it secondly when you set a goal there's

an interesting dynamic that happens and

that is when you set a goal basically

you're acknowledging to both your

conscious and subconscious minds that

where you are right now is not where you

want to be which is you begin to notice

the distinctions between where you want

to be and where you are and as you feel

that distinction your brain becomes

dissatisfied and part of what motivates

human action is a sense of

dissatisfaction

I mean hey when you're totally

comfortable and relaxed feeling pleasure

you're not super motivated to do

whatever it takes to make things happen

generally as a generalization however

when we get dissatisfied that's we got

some real power in fact I tell most

people in life one of the biggest traps

that most people fall into is called

success for a lot of people's successes

trap because what happens is when they

get successful oftentimes

they tend the party when they fail they

tend to ponder and are that pondering

sometimes that make some new

distinctions dissatisfaction is a power

that you want to take advantage of not

something for you to try and hide

yourself out from there is real power

and finding some things you want to move

away from because look pressure is what

creates human behavior pressure and

tension are primary drivers of our

actions I mean think about it on a

ridiculously simple level what makes you

want to eat is it not a certain level

pressure or attention what is it that

makes you want to eliminate during the

day pressure or tension your body it

makes you want to get up and take that

action what makes you want to make love

and be with somebody there's a certain

amount of pressure that creates that

feeling learning to manage pressure and

tension in your life is probably one of

the basic fundamental lessons we all

must master if we really want to have a

balanced life where we really feel happy

and successful but learning to use

pressure and goal-setting is absolutely

critical with literally no pressure to

go for it

we have no motivation and so a certain

amount of pressure is generated when you

clearly define what do you want and you

see that you aren't there it creates a

gestalt where your brain says hey I want

that I'm not satisfied where I am and

you begin to have that drive don't hide

out from it well commit look at it every

single day pressure isn't necessarily

negative it can be very positive again

if you look at it as a tool for

influencing yourself to take consistent

action towards your success you all know

the metaphor don't you I mean pressure

is how diamonds are created they're just

rocks that got under intense pressure

and now that turned into a gym you need

to use that same metaphor for yourself

and use goals as a way of pressuring

yourself cuz I know a lot of people when

they think about goal-setting I said

well you know I don't like commit to

somebody else about this thing because

then I'll feel all this pressure that's

great that is fabulous that means you're

not gonna back out

I mean hey when I decided a year ago I

was gonna work out every single day I

was gonna exercise I realized the best

way to make sure I kept that commitment

was number one understand why

doing it not just salmon exercise to

exercise and I realize in order to

accomplish the level of goals that I

have in my life I need abundance of

physical energy vibrancy so I have

something to communicate with so I have

something that can drive me without that

I've ended up running out of emotional

gas while I'm continually driving up

this mountain called success so I didn't

want to float down running out of fuel

and I decided I'm gonna keep that up

every day and being physically violent

requires a certain level of exercise so

I understood why and I linked it to

having better relationships I linked it

to having more energy for my kids I

linked it to how it feel emotionally I

linked it to my level of physical

vibrancy I linked it to my business

success I linked it to my ability to

contribute to others but I had a lot of

motivation going on there but in

addition what I also did is I use

pressure and I went around and on

several of my programs specifically on

one I do for business people especially

called the powered influence one for

sales people on that program I made it

really clear that the only way to

succeed was demand more from yourself

and other people would expect and that I

had decided and would absolutely

exercise every day of this year I might

reevaluate in the future but I'd do it

this year and I've kept it and I'm

telling you do you do so I have to

commit even more I don't have a way to

turn back do you follow me use pressure

to your advantage use committing to

certain people to your advantage people

that will not let you off the hook

that's part of the why sometimes you

don't feel like doing anymore the only

why is hey coz I don't want to not keep

my word that's okay whatever it takes to

get you to follow through and create

results so this tape today is designed

for primarily only one purpose and that

is to get you clear on the power of

goal-setting what it can do to change

you and the critical element to success

and goals and that is creating a strong

enough Y and enough pressure to follow

through one of the ways we can create is

strong enough why by the way is not just

to write down the positive laws in other

words gosh I want this goal because

it'll give me this and this in my life

or I'll be able to contribute this and

that but in addition I've learned to

create some of the quote unquote

negative why's something I never would

have done years ago I'd say god that's

being a negative person but what I mean

specifically is when I set goals now

I not only write down why I'm absolutely

committed to making that goal in reality

but I also now write down why am I gonna

get this and I do it from the frame of

if I don't achieve this what would it

cost me and I get a list of why's of

prices I'd have to pay not to have the

goal could see what we want to do to get

ourselves to succeed is linked pleasure

to getting the goal and paying to not

getting the goal that way our brain will

be driven to use all of our resources to

make it happen does that make sense to

you

so I know for some of you may sound

negative to say well what would it cost

me if it didn't happen but I think if

you understand how the human brain works

we want to use the carrot and the stick

hey we're in charge we can do this with

anything with ourselves and if we don't

like her goals we can change them at any

time part of the power of goal-setting

is flexibility not just getting stuck

because a years ago you set a goal

reevaluating a saying based on where I

am and now my life is that's still the

right goal for me is that the right

direction I encourage people to set

goals no less than twice a year and I

have them review their goals in detail

at least once a month and review their

top goals daily it is that kind of

consistent review that will keep you on

track and produce those results that

you're committed to so right now the

purpose again today is to get you clear

and how to unleash this power and part

of that power is the power of why why do

you want things on the positive and the

power of being dissatisfied so here's

your exercise for today and then

tomorrow we're gonna actually unleash

you into a goal-setting workshop and you

might want to review and listen this

tape again so you're inspired when you

go to do that exercise because I want

you to really come to life and know

you're about to create real results when

you start that workshop today they'll

pull out your success journal and here's

your assignment what I'd like you to do

is I want you to write down two things

number one what are some of the areas of

your life you are dissatisfied with now

I don't want you to feel bad real

negative about it but just be honest

with yourself what are some of the areas

of your life that are not enough it's

not good enough it's not where you

deserve it to be it's not where you're

committed having it be take a look at

yourself physically emotionally

spiritually intellectually financially

in your relationships so the question I

want you to ask yourself is what's not

good in my life

what am I not satisfied with and get

inspired as you write it down because

whatever you write down you're gonna be

able to change and that's number one and

make a good list of things you're

dissatisfied with that'll create some

pressure inside of you to create some

powerful new goals and number two write

down what kind of beliefs what I have to

have what are a couple of additional

beliefs since we've talked about that

earlier what are two or three other

beliefs then I would probably need to

have in order to really set goals and

achieve them what are two or three new

beliefs I need to live by in order to

really start achieving my goals

that's your simple assignment for today

just leave today with a focus on getting

big enough why's the power of why is the

power to achieve your dreams I'll see

you tomorrow remember live with passion

[Music]

at it and what absolutely exercise every

day of this year I might reevaluate in

the future but I do it this year and

I've kept it and I'm telling it do you

do so I have to commit even more I don't

have a way to turn back do you follow me

use pressure to your advantage use

committing to certain people to your

advantage people that will not let you

off the hook that's part of the why

sometimes you don't feel like doing any

more on the only why is hey cuz I don't

want to not keep my word that's okay

whatever it takes to get you to follow

through and create results so this take

today is designed for primarily only one

purpose and that is to get you clear on

the power of goal-setting what it can do

to change you and the critical element

to success and goals and that is

creating a strong enough Y and enough

pressure to follow through one of the

ways we can create a strong enough Y by

the way is not just to write down the

positive ones in other words gosh I want

this goal because it'll give me this and

this in my life or I'll be able to

contribute this and that but in addition

I've learned to create some of the quote

unquote negative Y something I never

would have done years ago I'd say god

that's being a negative person but what

I mean specifically is when I set goals

now I not only write down why I'm

absolutely committed to making that goal

a reality but I also now write down why

am I gonna get this and I do it from the

frame of if I don't achieve this what

would it cost me and I get a list of

why's of prices I'd have to pay not to

have the goal cuz see what we want to do

to get ourselves to succeed is link

pleasure to getting the goal and pain to

not getting the goal that way our brain

will be driven to use all of our

resources to make it happen does that

make sense to you so I know for some of

if we don't like our goals we can change

(Episode 74)

The coffee's here. Here you go.

Oh, my. Oh, my.

Are you okay?

Ow, it's hot.

This is no big deal.

Geez...

It's just my socks that got wet.

I'll bring you another cup. Hang on.

I'd like something else.

Please find me tree leaves.

Tree leaves?

What for?

To press them between the pages of books.

Oh, for that.

You've recovered a lot of your memory.

That's great, but there are no leaves right now.

No. Hurry up.

How else can I press them between book pages

and then write poetry on them?

I'll put on some socks then.

There's no time.

I must dry them by tomorrow.

Quick. Quickly go and find fall leaves.

Quick.

Haengja.

Quick. There's no time. There's no time.

I want red and yellow leaves, 5 of each.

Is this on purpose, or is she still out of it?

Haengja, open the door.

It's still cold out.

Haengja...

I'll lose my mind at this rate.

Darn it. Leaves...

What are those? Inventory?

Or products for disposal?

Inventory.

They have 2 months left until they expire,

so I figured they might be useful.

I see. Where's Seokpyo?

He's Hong Seok here.

We must keep his secret

until he decides to tell.

Right. Hong Seok.

So where's Seokpyo, I mean, Hong Seok?

On the 3rd floor.

Counsel Byeon wanted to see him.

Busik did? Why?

What's this?

Cosmetics sets that are close to expiration.

Would you like a set?

I'll give you a steep discount.

Take a look.

Wow. It looks perfectly fine.

It is perfectly fine.

It's fine even a few months after expiration.

Try it.

Wow. It goes on nice and smooth.

Isn't it nice?

Wow.

What's this?

Why are these open without my permission?

I never signed them off to you.

You agreed to give us the surplus.

We need to sell these quickly

to do R&D on derma-cosmetics...

What's the matter?

My leg suddenly cramped up.

What is it? Do I have something on my face?

I'm just looking to see

what's so attractive about you.

Attractive?

This is attractive. The sound of her laughter.

No way. No way.

No way.

Oh? Something is going on here.

Doesn't this smell good?

Speak, since you called me in.

Life is good.

I can call in the majority stakeholder of Genius,

and he obliges immediately.

Did you call me in to mock me?

Sizeable inventory was transferred to Hong Seok,

but we have no such contract.

What's going on here?

What about it?

Inventory was transferred to a fictitious man,

thus constituting fraud.

Oh. If it's Hong Seokpyo, the former CEO,

does it constitute misappropriation?

Fraud? Misappropriation?

Or theft.

I can charge you with any of the above.

Now theft?

I talked to Director Gu,

so what's the problem?

You said you did,

but there's no proof to substantiate that.

Plus, you're on probation right now,

so you might serve time in prison

for any legal mishaps.

I can make that happen.

What do you want?

This is a warning.

Don't do anything

connected to the company,

and stay put if you know what's good for you.

Or if you do anything, make it legally airtight.

Is that Genius' stance on the matter,

or your personal stance?

I'm a lawyer on Genius' legal team.

Of course it's Genius' stance.

I'll let you off this time with a warning,

but I will take action

if you keep butting into Genius' affairs.

Get a grip, majority stakeholder Hong Seokpyo.

What are you talking about?

Fraud and theft?

Was it you again?

Pretending to help,

but stabbing me in the back?

No, no.

Really? You expect me to believe you?

Seokpyo...

The chemical research lab?

Send someone else there.

I'll find my own lab if I need one.

You want to do something with discarded products.

This lab is perfect for that.

I had a feeling.

You really knew about it?

How did you find out?

You're so talented.

It's no talent of mine.

This and derma-cosmetics

were all in your mother's business plan.

You mean I can never outdo my mother?

I mean you're just as capable.

Why are you so touchy?

What is this, sneaking in without a peep?

Oh. Um... I knocked.

The new coffee beans we roasted smelled nice,

so I brought you a cup to try.

I would've brought 2 cups had I known.

I'll leave you alone.

Just get me an airtight agreement for transfer

of inventory, especially soon-to-expire products,

so I'm not accused of fraud or theft.

Fraud or theft...

So they want to incapacitate President Hong.

And Counsel Byeon is taking the lead.

Are you okay?

Why are you out working already?

I said to take a few more days off.

More importantly, about Jonghui...

What about her?

Is she dating someone secretly?

You know... A secret office romance.

Right? Right?

You think so, too, right?

Yes. I was so sure.

No one can fool me.

They've been on my mind.

What should I do?

There was very strange energy between them.

They were so casual with each other.

But there seems to be an age gap.

Age gap.

Yes, that's right. The guy is a bit younger.

This is huge.

Do I support her, or talk her out of it?

A bit younger?

I don't think he's just a bit younger.

What is he thinking, holding out like that?

He seems to be barefoot.

How should I know?

I kicked him out at first, but he's still out there

even though I unlocked the door.

Why did you kick him out?

I'm sure you had a reason.

None of your business.

Haengja, my feelings are really hurt.

I worked so hard for this house and you, while...

No. I even went to the police station

to keep the kids safe,

but my name was nowhere to be found.

What's this about your name?

You see...

You see... It's a long story.

Stop your nonsense,

and call the kids to see when they'll be back.

Haengja, now you recall

the days leading up to your collapse, right?

Your tone is just like it was then.

Right? Am I right?

Yes. I remember everything.

Oh, wow, Haengja.

Haengja, this is wonderful.

Wait. So you're punishing him now?

This won't do.

You should kick him out right away.

No, wait.

Did you recall Eunjo's background, too?

Was Eunjo really a foundling?

She wasn't Changsu's daughter?

What? So you don't remember everything.

What is Dr. Jeong doing in the yard?

He looked cold.

Look at this. Look at this.

After all that he's put us through...

Our kids are too nice...

No. They're foolish.

Why are you worried about that jerk?

How are you two coming home together?

Wash up so we can eat. Quick.

This is unsettling.

Why has that memory disappeared?

What's the reason?

So she even remembers the tree leaves.

I'll let this slide because of tomorrow's hearing.

I'll have to tell the judge

that Haengja isn't in her right mind.

Dad.

What are you doing out here?

Inu, I was kicked out.

I was chased out like this by that lot.

No matter how much they hate me,

it's freezing out here.

Are you serious?

Let's go in, Dad.

Why are you empty-handed? Where are my leaves?

Leaves?

I looked everywhere, but there are no yellow leaves.

Haengja, I might catch a cold and die.

Good grief. What a crybaby.

You went too far.

How so?

How can you chase him out,

asking for fall leaves at this time of the year?

Did you do it on purpose so he'd catch a cold?

Watch it.

Don't meddle in your elders' affairs.

Don't you think you're being petty?

Forget it.

If sacrificing my well-being

will help bring Haengja's memory back,

I'll do it 100 times over.

I collected fall leaves for Haengja a while back.

Good grief. That mouth of his. Always yammering.

Dad, did you really catch a cold?

I do seem to have caught a chill.

Oh, no. Let's go see a doctor.

See?

Dad caught a cold.

What will you do now?

How ridiculous. I can't take it.

Why are you fussing over a stupid cold?

A stupid cold?

Dad's not a young man.

A cold can be fatal at his age.

And colds these days are nasty.

This won't do. Let's go see a doctor.

What a devoted daughter.

It's so touching, I just might cry.

So what if he has a cold?

Haengja.

I got brain surgery and narrowly escaped death,

all because I got duped by a fraud.

So why are you fussing over a little cold?

Haengja.

Dad...

Have you fully recovered your memory?

When?

Why did you keep something so important from me?

Are you pretending to remember

ahead of tomorrow's hearing?

You sold my Paju building behind my back, right?

Are you satisfied now?

Good grief. What's with the nasty tone?

You gave it to me as a wedding present.

Don't you remember?

Excuse me?

This is great.

It's been agonizing to be falsely accused.

Since you remember everything, tell them

that you signed the letter of attorney

and gave me your registered seal.

How else could I have sold off your assets?

What did you say? Why, you...

No.

What are you doing?

Don't spew such crap just because you can.

Geez. There are plenty of nicer ways to say that.

Hey! You'd better shut your trap!

Aunt Eunjeong!

Let go. Let go.

I should sew those lips shut.

Haengja, will you keep listening to him?

I'm so relieved

that she has her wits about her again.

I can't take it anymore.

No, Myeongjo.

Let go.

What are you going to do?

Why are you standing there doing nothing?

Here. Get out of my house this instant.

Why should I?

Must I drag you out? Huh?

Let go. I'm not leaving. I can't.

- Get out. Get out. Out. / - No way. No way.

Get out. Get out.

Let go. I'm not leaving.

Dad.

Why have you gotten so aggressive?

It's a problem that you can't control your anger.

Good grief.

Dad, this isn't the time to say that.

You stay quiet.

This will all work to our advantage.

Here, here.

You should be kneeling and begging for forgiveness,

yet what?

Get out. Get out of my house this instant!

She should've done this sooner.

Wow. Good riddance.

Don't think that we're being heartless.

This is all your father's doing.

I'll pack.

You're a weird one, too.

I have nothing against you,

but there's no way I'll forgive

your father and sister for what they've done.

You saw, too, right?

Eunjo, look carefully to make sure

none of your things are in here.

There!

How dare you?

You almost hurt her.

Of course.

A little scratch on your daughter is a bigger deal

than someone else's potentially fatal surgery.

Let's go.

We can't get kicked out like this.

Enough already.

You be quiet.

This is just the beginning.

You've wronged me in so many ways

that I won't let you off the hook,

so brace yourself.

I'm so sick and tired of the Jeongs.

Scram.

Dad, will you just take this?

Hey, Haengja!

See you in court tomorrow!

Dad.

Why are you standing here like this?

It's finally over.

I feel drained.

I didn't know they'd be so shameless to the end.

I think this belongs to Injeong.

You give it to her later.

I'm both sorry and thankful towards Injeong.

She tried very hard to help us.

Things should wind down quietly, right?

Oh, wow. You found it.

Your property list, bankbooks, and registered seal.

I waited and held back so I could find this.

That good-for-nothing Jeong fellow...

He doesn't deserve the title of doctor.

Hurry up and open it.

Let's go.

Haengja, I have your entire fortune in my hands.

You'll be sorry that you kicked me out.

Let's go.

All set.

Oh, wow. Oh, wow. Thank you.

- Thank you. / - Sure.

Come on. Hurry up and open it.

Quickly.

What? There's nothing in here.

Why, that slippery eel...

Wow. But he has no leverage.

How dare he do this when you're perfectly well?

Isn't this theft?

Okay. So he's declared war, hasn't he?

My bankbooks and credit cards?

I can just suspend them.

What does he take me for?

What's this? Why didn't you call first?

What happened?

Don't tell me you got kicked out.

Of course not.

What right do they have to kick us out?

I left of my own volition.

What happened?

Ms. Kim seems to have recovered her memory.

Are you serious?

Where's your father?

He went to a hotel.

Hotel?

Money must grow on trees.

He's so full of pomp and greed.

So?

What will he do now?

What did your father say?

I don't know. He must have a fallback,

because he kept saying not to worry.

What makes him think he can talk big

after turning someone's life upside down?

What a scumbag.

Geez. What will he do now?

Darn it.

What will we do with these?

They'll say we stole if they know they're here.

You should've signed an agreement first.

Director Kim is being unreasonable.

An oral agreement is an agreement.

They're waiting for a chance to pounce,

so we can't make even the smallest mistake.

Here's the agreement for the inventory.

Sign it.

You could've given it to him tomorrow at the Center.

I rushed over because I was afraid of this.

I was worried you'd get arrested tonight.

How hypocritical of you.

You complicated something this simple.

Does he hate me that much?

This isn't a hotel.

It's a long story.

Please put me up just for tonight.

What about after tonight?

What can you possibly do?

I heard that Ms. Kim recovered her memory.

Be quiet if you don't know.

Even if I don't, what will you do now?

How will you deal with

the aftermath of living large

and knowing the temptation of money?

What did I ever do?

All I did was remarry.

Is remarrying a crime?

I'm not worried about you.

What will you do about our girls?

Inu will refuse to live like she used to.

Then she shouldn't.

I did nothing wrong.

If Haengja says she's through with me,

we'll get divorced.

It's not hard the second time around.

But I'll demand alimony.

What are you saying?

She blocked all the credit cards and bank accounts.

Kim Haengja sure is something else.

But it's all for naught. All her money will be mine.

What?

Talking to you will send me to an early grave.

Take that and buzz off to a sauna.

I'm not a bee.

Why do you keep telling me to buzz off?

What's this?

Give me another $10.

Hey, Jeong Geunseop!

Darn it. Geez.

What a scumbag. What a scumbag.

Oh, what am I going to do with him?

This feels like a dream.

I can't believe I'm here with you like this.

I know. I heard you went through a lot.

I totally grew up.

You'd be shocked.

Good grief. Good grief.

How can you brag about yourself like that?

Ms. Kim.

I know.

You safeguarded this house,

you're doing well at the Center,

and you got the papers from Heukseok-dong.

I see you in a whole new light now.

Now I can put you in charge of everything.

I didn't do it alone.

I know. I heard that Myeongjo helped you a lot.

Yes.

But Ms. Kim,

I've fallen for someone.

He helped me a lot.

I could persevere thanks to him.

Who's the fellow who stole my Eunjo's heart?

You know him.

Hong Seok, the Center employee?

Yes.

What do you like so much about him?

Just everything.

My goodness. You're blinded by love.

I'll have to see him again one of these days.

You don't disapprove, right?

Why? Are you worried?

He's trying very hard to master himself,

but it's not easy for him.

Still, you can't disapprove on the basis that

he's fragile and penniless.

Even if I did, you wouldn't listen.

Like father, like daughter.

You're even more like Changsu than Myeongjo is.

You're as stubborn as a mule.

Huh?

Don't worry.

I'll look kindly on the Center employee

whom you like so much.

Ms. Kim, your memory really is all back, right?

Yes, it is.

Why? Are you worried about the hearing tomorrow?

Don't worry.

I can do a good job.

Of course. I know what you're made of.

Of course. Of course.

My goodness.

Is Ms. Dong sleeping?

Why are you here this late?

I'm back home.

I shouldn't lie to you, right?

The truth is, Ms. Kim kicked me out.

Kicked you out?

So Ms. Kim recovered her memory?

What about Father?

Dad, Injeong, and I

were all kicked out.

Busik, you'll keep Dad safe, right?

We won't lose everything in the end, right?

I don't want to lose what I have and enjoy now.

I've done my best for your father,

even crossing lines I shouldn't.

Oh...

So you're saying you can't keep Dad safe?

I'm saying there's nothing more I can do.

No.

You're walking away

because the situation has soured.

Am I wrong?

The fact is, nothing can be done now.

Busik.

Let's talk after the adult guardianship hearing.

It's Mediation Room 311, Southern District Court.

I expect to see you tomorrow.

Oh, my goodness. Welcome.

You were surprised that I asked to see you, right?

I'm more surprised that you're like your old self.

I know. I feel the same way.

It feels like I woke up from a nightmare.

I'm so relieved.

I hear that you and Eunjo have grown close.

Yes.

I'm very fond of Ms. Gil.

My goodness.

But Eunjo doesn't seem to know your real name.

President Hong Seokpyo.

You remember.

Yes.

I also remember that you told me not to tell anyone.

I can truly rest assured now.

You've taken care of Eunjo and protected her.

I'm so grateful.

Oh, no.

Ms. Gil's affairs somehow turned into my own.

Speaking of which,

remember a small cosmetics store in Sinnae-dong?

A cosmetics store in Sinnae-dong?

I'm not sure.

I heard you helped the previous owner.

The current owner knows you, too.

Who told you that?

I have no idea about that.

I don't know of such a place.

Pardon?

I have no idea. I don't.

Listen. I have to run,

as I have an urgent matter to tend to.

Yes. You need to go to the court hearing.

Ms. Gil will be here soon.

Let's head out together.

Oh... Oh, right.

I'm supposed to go to the court with Eunjo.

Goodness me.

Are you okay?

Yes.

We will now begin the hearing concerning

the appointment of an adult guardian.

Petitioner Mr. Jeong Geunseop.

Yes. I'm Jeong Geunseop.

Okay.

Respondent Ms. Kim Haengja.

Yes.

Okay.

Everything he's saying is a lie.

She has problems with anger management.

I must protect her.

I'll live as I see fit.

Haengja.

You rented a defective outfit,

so why are you pinning it on me?

Are you threatening a client?

Do you know what our daughter Inu did today?

Did you see her do it?

You're destroying her.

I have someone to introduce you to.

Son?

You didn't know I was her son?

So the darkest period in her life

was around the time

when you came to us as a foundling?

Redmi Note 5 Pro vs Mi A1 Detailed Camera Comparison - Duration: 8:42.

"Music"

Hey guys its Sagar from Tecworkz.

Ever since I uploaded the unboxing video of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, you guys have been asking

me to compare its camera with the Mi A1.

We all know that, Mi A1 has one of the best set of cameras under 15,000Rs, but the Redmi

Note 5 Pro also comes under 15,000Rs, and is said to have even better cameras than the

Mi A1.

In this video, we put their cameras against each other, and see which one comes on top.

Before we get any further, make sure to hit the subscribe button, so you don't miss

out on any of the amazing videos coming up.

Let us first get the specifications out of the way.

Mi A1 packs in dual 12 megapixel cameras with dual LED, dual tone flash.

One of the camera, has a 26mm lens with f/2.2 aperture, while the other has a 50mm telephoto

lens with an aperture of f/2.6.

Main camera on the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 12 megapixel sensor, with F/2.2 aperture.

Secondary camera has a 5 megapixel sensor, with F/2.0 aperture, and this sensor is used

for capturing the depth information for portrait shots.

You get a Dual LED, single tone flash on this one.

You cannot switch between the lenses while taking images on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but

you can do that with the Mi A1.

You can shoot videos in upto 4K resolution at 30fps on the Mi A1.

Video capture on the Note 5 Pro is capped to 1080p at 30fps for the moment.

Xiaomi says that 4K video capture will unlocked with one of the future software updates, but

we have no time frame to when thats coming.

Neither of these lenses have Optical stabilisation but 1080p videos are electronically stabilised

on the Note 5 Pro.

At front, Mi A1 has a 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, and on the Redmi Note 5 Pro,

you get a 20 megapixel camera, with F/2.2 aperture, and a dedicated front facing flash.

You also have HDR and portrait mode on front facing camera of the Note 5 Pro.

Although both phones are from a same manufacturer, Interface of the camera app is different on

them.

On the A1, you have the shutter button, And options to go to the gallery and switch to

video mode on the left and right side of shutter button, respectively.

On the viewfinder just above the shutter button, you have a button to switch between normal

and the telephoto lens.

HDR, flash and portrait mode toggles are at the top.

On the Note 5 Pro, Shutter button is at the bottom, and you have to swipe to the left

or right to get to various modes, most of which were buried under the options menu on

the Mi A1.

Flash, HDR, filters and more options are at the top.

Both phones offer manual mode, but the A1 offers lot more control while taking images

in manual mode than the Note 5 Pro.

Alright, now lets take a look at images and video samples from both these phones.

Daylight images from both the phones are very sharp and detailed.

Those from the Mi A1 almost always have a bit higher exposure, which might not always

look the best.

Every now and then, Mi A1 really messes up the white balance of the scene.

Note 5 Pro captures accurate colours and its images look good, but the images from the

A1, have this weird green tint to them.

I have been talking about this problem even since the A1 launched, but Xiaomi still hasn't

solved this issue.

The secondary lens on the A1, lets you take 2x images like these, it comes in handy if

you want to photograph objects that are too far from you.

Secondary lens on the Note 5 Pro is only used for capturing depth information for portrait

shots, so you cant really see how the images only from its secondary lens looks like.

Shooting in HDR mode, Note 5 Pro shows much better dynamic range and colours.

Look at the sky and the wall, there are so much more detailed and have better contrast

in the images from the Note 5 Pro.

In some of the images, HDR mode on the A1 is a bit too aggressive.

Before we get to the close up shots, here is a quick test between the focusing speed

of both these cameras.

Both focus lot quicker on near objects, but they hunt a bit for focus, when trying to

focus on far objects.

Note 5 Pro is just a tad bit faster at focusing.

Close up shots from both these phones are crisp and look really good.

Both have F/2.2 aperture on their main camera, so the background is blurred very nicely from

both the cameras.

This is another good close up shot, but again A1 has messed up the white balance of the

scene.

Now coming to Portrait images.

Both the phones process these images in a different way.

A1 uses information from cameras of 2 different focal lengths, so the background in its images

is more compressed.

These portrait shots look really good, edge detection in these images is so good, it is

sometimes hard to believe that they are shot with phones priced under 15,000Rs.

Since you can get much closer to your subject while taking portrait images on the Note 5

Pro, I prefer its portrait images over those of the Mi A1.

While capturing portrait images of objects, Note 5 Pro does a better, specially in terms

of the colours, contrast and overall sharpness of the images.

Now don't get me wrong, Portrait images from both these smartphones is are really

impressive, but I feel, the ones from the Redmi Note 5 Pro look more pleasing.

As we get to lower lighting situations, if you just glance at these images, both might

look good, but the ones from the Note 5 Pro are slightly detailed and sharper.

Both phones capture a lot of noise, as you can see in this image, but the one from the

Note 5 pro looks slightly better to me.

Note 5 pro also captures a bit warmer colours at night, which makes the colours in its images

stand out.

Low light images from both are pretty similar, but the colours from Note 5 Pro look better,

which makes its overall images look better.

In this image, both captured very different shades of the same lamp.

A1 tried to expose the lamp shade properly, while the Note 5 Pro exposed for the filament

of the bulb.

I am not sure which one is right in this case, because they both look like completely different

images, and I actually like both of them.

These are portraits shots in low light, the one from the Note 5 Pro looks much better

and detailed, while the one from A1 has lot of noise in it.

Coming to the front facing cameras, images from the Note 5 pro are again more detailed

thanks to the 20megapixel sensor.

It also has a slightly wider lens of the two.

Note 5 pro manages to take better selfies in lower light as well, and it also has a

front facing flash, so you can use that if it is too dark.

You can also shoot portrait images with the front facing camera of the Note 5 Pro.

It doesn't have a secondary camera at the front, so it does this via software, which

makes this front camera, even more impressive.

1080p videos from the Note 5 Pro are electronically stabilised, and it looks so much better and

smoother than the videos from the A1.

But although its not stabilised, A1 can shoot 4K videos, which the Note 5 Pro cannot do

as of now, with the native camera app.

You need to download a 3rd party app like Open Camera, if you want to shoot 4k videos

on Note 5 Pro.

As far as I can see, Only advantages that A1 has is the ability to shoot 4K videos natively,

and the fact that it can take lossless 2x zoomed images, thanks to the secondary telephoto

lens.

But after looking at all these image and video samples, Redmi Note 5 Pro, captures much better

dynamic range, white balance is accurate and it takes better portrait shots both in good

and low lighting conditions, combine that with the smooth 1080p videos and amazing selfie

portraits shots, it is definitely an improvement over the dual cameras of the Mi A1.

If you are looking to choose between these smartphones based on the camera, go with the

Redmi Note 5 Pro.

What do you think about the camera on these smartphones, and which one will you choose?

Let me know in the comments.

If you are looking buy any of these devices, I will leave links to them in the description

section.

I will also comparing the camera of the Redmi Note 5 Pro with the Moto G5S Plus and Honor

7X in the next few days, so keep an eye on the channel for that.

That is it for this videos guys.

Yankee Doodle went to town A-riding on a pony,

Stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni.

Mind the music and the step, and with the girls be handy.

Father and I went down to camp, Along with Captain Gooding,

And there we saw the men and boys As thick as hasty pudding.

Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle dandy,

Mind the music and the step, And with the girls be handy.

There was Captain Washington, Upon a slapping stallion,

Giving orders to his men I guess there were a million.

Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle dandy,

Mind the music and the step, And with the girls be handy.

Tốp 5 Thí Nghiệm Khoa Học Rùng Rợn của Trung Quốc | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 10:59.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

China is jumping on the creepy science experiment bandwagon,

and boy is it weird.

Welcome back to China Uncensored.

I'm Chris Chappell.

History is no stranger to creepy science experiments.

The Nazis did them.

Imperial Japan did them, too.

And let's not forget Dr. Frankenstein.

And, you know, the great thing about being

an authoritarian country without mechanisms for public oversight,

is there aren't that many restrictions

when it comes to experimenting on animals...

and people.

So today we bring you

the top 5 creepy Chinese science experiments

sure to send shivers down your spine.

Number 5: Cloning

First, there was Dolly.

"I'm Dolly, I'm a sheep from Roslin,

and people like to make a big fuss

about the fact that I'm a clown.

Clone!

Clone!"

Oh, Dolly, you're hilarious.

Dolly the sheep was the first ever animal

to be successfully cloned from an adult cell.

Now that's a big deal because, well,

it proves that in theory,

the adult me that I know and love,

could create an exact copy of...myself.

Oh what's that Dolly?

I mean Shelley?

Oh.

It turns out Dolly was a "lower order species"

and didn't really prove I can clone myself.

But that's changed now,

thanks to a recent experiment in China.

"Well scientists from Shanghai have done it again.

But this time,

they've cloned a couple of adorable macaque monkeys."

They're named Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua,

which is a cute way of saying,

"Chinese nation."

Because nothing says patriotism

like science experiments on monkeys

where most of them died.

Seriously, they implanted 79 embryos

and only 2 of them survived.

With results like that,

I definitely would have failed biology class.

Maybe there's an easier way

for me to clone myself?

But anyway, technically,

these are not the first-ever monkey clones.

In 2000, scientists cloned a rhesus monkey

named Tetra.

But that was done using the much simpler method of splitting embryos.

This new experiment,

which was reported in January 2018,

is far more advanced.

According to one researcher,

this new technology could be used

to clone humans.

But don't worry!

Researchers assure us they have

no intention of doing that.

I don't think there's anybody

are willing to do human cloning,

and society would not permit it.

But like any new technology,

once it appears,

there's always the possibility of misuse."

The misuse of technology for a sinister purpose?

The Chinese Communist Party would never allow that.

Let's just focus on the good parts.

"But let's be honest.

We just care that these lovable monkeys

are so darn cute."

Awwww...

Number 4: Animal head transplant

Back in 2013,

a Chinese doctor became the first scientist

to take the head from one mouse

and "successfully" attach it

to the body of another.

"Ren says after having its head placed onto a new body,

the mouse opened its eyes,

could breathe,

and make basic movements."

Oh and then it died a day later.

What more could you ask for in a successful surgery?

And Dr. Ren Xiaoping has conducted

over a thousand such "successful" mouse head transplants.

An army of frankenmice.

Somehow, it's still adorable.

But it turns out the good doctor

was just warming up.

All those rodents were just the appetizer

ahead of the main course––

a monkey head.

"Before we can transplant a head,

we connect it and the body

with a tube like this.

This ensures that when the head is moved, the circulation isn't cut."

According to a 2016 report by the New Scientist,

Dr. Ren pulled off the daring feat…

I mean the head…

off a monkey and reattached it

to the body of another monkey.

The monkey survived,

but was only kept alive for 20 hours

after the procedure—

for ethical reasons, he said.

Which is to say,

"The monkey could totally have survived longer it we wanted it to.

We swear.

It's all about the ethics."

Yes, frankenmonkeys are all about the ethics.

Let's just move ahead, shall we?

Number 3: Human head transplant

Well, it turns out a monkey head wasn't quite

headline material enough for Dr. Ren Xiaoping.

"The head transplant is the last

and greatest challenge of the human medical science.

At a press conference in December,

his colleague,

Italian doctor Sergio Canavero,

dropped the bombshell.

"The surgery happened—successfully."

Well if it's the same kind of "successfully"

as with the mice and the monkey…

Oh wait.

What's that?

"The first full rehearsal has taken place in China."

A full rehearsal?

What does that mean?

"The surgery lasted 18 hours..."

Aaaannndddd....?

"In a few days, Xiaoping will announce

and will give you all the ins and outs."

Oh, what an anti-climax.

Well it turns out Dr. Ren Xiaoping

did give all the ins and outs,

in this article in Surgical Neurology International.

First of all, just to let you know,

the experiment was approved by a Chinese ethics board

and the families of the cadavers consented.

Still, I'm gonna need to see a copy of those consent forms,

if you don't mind.

But in conclusion, drum roll please…

Dr. Ren says that the test run head graft

was a great success!

And by success,

he meant both test subjects were dead.

No, the surgery didn't kill them.

He just did the experiment on dead bodies.

So...take that "success" with a grain of salt.

So what exactly is the plan now?

"The next step is a full head transplant

on a brain-dead organ donor,

and the first human head transplant is imminent."

So first a frankenmouse,

then a frankenmonkey,

and now a franken...stein?

I can't wait.

Number 2: Easy organ "donation"

This creepy science experiment involves

figuring out how to use the internal organs

from prisoners executed by lethal injection.

Now, if you've been watching China Uncensored for a while,

you've probably seen some episodes

about China's organ donation program.

And for those of you who are new to the show,

in China, "donation" means they kill you

and take your organs.

A lot of China's involuntary organ donors

are prisoners who are given the death penalty.

And in China you can be given the death penalty

for things like economic crimes.

But there's a problem.

Prisoners are now executed

using lethal injection,

so the organs get poisoned too.

That means, after the transplant is done,

the host body often rejects the organ.

But thanks to the groundbreaking research

of one Wang Lijun,

China can continue to extract organs

from unwilling donors and not worry about a thing.

According to the China Organ Harvest Research Center,

"Wang Lijun carried out thousands

of what were effectively live human experiments"

and his team "made step-by-step scientific success

in making it possible for an organ to be accepted

by the recipient after lethal injections."

By the way, Wang Lijun is not a scientist or a doctor.

He was a police chief

who worked with purged former CCP official Bo Xilai.

Wang is the guy that fled to the US Consulate in 2012

and triggered a huge scandal

that exposed the factional in fighting within the CCP.

And he's now serving a 15-year prison sentence

for corruption.

Sounds like just the kind of guy

who should be working on

cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs involving dicey ethical issues.

Wang's research paved the way

for organ "donations" from even more unwilling donors:

Prisoners of conscience,

like Falun Gong practitioners,

house Christians,

Uighurs, and Tibetans.

These are different from prisoners given the death penalty,

since they are imprisoned for their beliefs

and then just quietly "disappeared"

into the system.

And according to reports,

there are a lot of them.

Yes, political prisoners can rest easy now,

knowing that the organs forcibly plucked from their bodies

will give the gift of life to wealthy Chinese patients

without any poisonous side effects.

And number one:

Human body plastination

Plastination means taking human bodies

and turning them into human Ken and Barbie dolls

to be put on display for fun and profit.

Haha.

That looks like so much fun.

Chinese scientist Sui Hongjin learned

the creepy craft of plastinating human bodies

by teaming up with the creepy German anatomist

who invented the technique.

But the two parted ways and Sui Hongjin

later set up his own plant in China

and perfected the art-slash-science

of turning people into plastic.

He churned out human bodies set in all kinds of

bizarre poses and sold them to international exhibitions.

And he made a killing.

Well, actually someone else did the killing.

You see, Chinese people tend not to

donate their bodies to science.

Then where did all these bodies come from?

Well, at first Sui Hongjin implied they were donated.

Then he said he didn't know.

Then, after a lawsuit,

the exhibitions were forced to put up a disclaimer,

saying that they got the bodies from the Chinese police.

And the police may have gotten them from Chinese prisons.

So... probably no consent forms.

Can we go back to the frankenmice?

That was a lot less disturbing.

So what do you think about the top 5 creepy Chinese science experiments?

Leave your comments below.
