Hi, everybody and welcome to Get Moving with Disney Family.
I am Miz Shawna and today we are going on a wild adventure,
inspired by The Jungle Book.
Here are my two friends.
We got Lily and we got Camden.
Say, hi to everybody, you guys.
-Hi. -Hi.
Everybody at home, make sure you clear some space for movement,
take breaks when you need to, stay hydrated,
and what's most important is that we all have fun.
So let's go to the jungle.
[music]
Lift your knees up.
Take deep breaths as you're here.
Knees come up a little bit higher to your chest.
And now we get to start moving our arms however we feel.
Lift your chest up and let's do four more marches all together.
Let's do four and three and two and one.
Plant your feet into the floor, pull your bellybutton down and back,
and lift up high to the sky.
And then open everything up and I want you to reach down.
See if you could touch the floor and relax your head.
Do you feel the stretch in the backs of your legs?
Nod your head, yes.
And shake your head, no.
Bend your knees, bellybutton in, slowly taking our time.
We're going to roll ourselves up getting our bodies nice and warm
for this wild adventure.
Inhale up and then exhale, open everything up.
Slowly roll yourselves down.
Take your hands to the ground, if you can.
Bend your knees, nod your head, yes,
shake your head, no.
We're going to stay right here. Bend your knees.
Slowly start to walk your hands out
and you're going to meet me in a pushup/plank position,
shoulders over your wrist pressing through your heels.
Feel your bellybutton pull up away from the floor.
Hips up a little bit higher. There you go.
Perfect.
Good, hold it here and then slowly release your knees down to the floor.
So now we're in our all fours position.
Open up your chest, bellybutton in.
[howling] Do you hear that?
I think we're being visited by some wolves.
Can we all howl like wolves and say hello to them?
Can you go [howling]?
There you go, perfect.
Pull your bellybuttons in, tuck your toes under,
and can you press your hips up into a downward dog.
Tail up, looking at your toes, take a deep magical breath in,
inhale and then exhale.
Slowly come on down to your knees.
We're going to do that one more time.
Can you howl with me?
Let's go.
[howling]
Pull your bellybuttons in, tuck your toes,
tail up to the sky, push your heels to the floor,
feel that stretch, and then come back down to your knees
and meet me down onto your belly.
Pin your elbows in, roll your shoulders down and back.
Here we go, we're going to say, hi to a cobra.
Are we ready?
Chest up, lift your heart up, and then can you give me a sound?
Go [hissing].
Nice. And then slowly roll down.
Roll your shoulders down, hug your elbows in.
Got it?
Let's do it one more time.
Stretching out our abdominals, inhale up and make that sound.
[hissing]
Now, whatever you do as we're rolling down,
whatever you do, do not look the snake in his eyes.
Got it?
Got it? Got it? Good.
All right, press yourselves up, toes come together,
knees open a little bit wider than your hips.
Reach your arms out, feel that stretch.
Shake your hips out a little bit.
Walk your hands in. Now, hands on the ground.
You could step one foot to the side,
other foot to the side, hands on top of your thighs,
and let's stand up.
And let's go ahead and follow our friend Mowgli.
Here he is.
Walk.
Show me those marches.
[marching]
How we doing? Are we excited?
-Mmm hmm. -Yes.
I wonder who we're going to see first.
Oh, and here's our friend, Mowgli.
Can you guys say, hi, Mowgli.
-Hi, Mowgli. -Hi, Mowgli.
Hi, Mowgli.
Oh, I hear something. Do you hear that?
[elephant sounds]
I hear some marching. Can you march with me?
Everybody at home, do you hear that?
It sounds like it's an elephant parade.
Can you make the marches a little bit bigger?
Okay, here we go.
And I'm hearing hop, two, three.
Follow along. Go, hop, two, three.
Amazing.
Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, company halt, and everyone's going to freeze.
Let's try that one more time.
Let's go hop, two, three, four.
Hop, two, three, knee up.
Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, press your foot down, company halt!
Up.
Perfect.
And now, let's move like an elephant,
so stomp your elephant foot down,
other foot down, and show me your elephant trunk.
Take your hand right on top of your elbow and bend your knees.
I want you to get nice and low here,
nose to your palm and three, two, one.
Show me your elephant trunk. Go [elephant sound].
And go off to the side and get into it.
[elephant sound]
Other side and go [elephant sound].
And down and stand up tall.
Perfect.
I'm going to march back.
Now everybody at home-- You guys freeze right there.
Everybody at home, we're going to walk like an elephant
just like Mowgli.
So walk your hands out, similar to downward dog.
So walk your hands to the floor.
Now your elephant tail is up in the sky.
Bend your knees a little bit, heels are lifted, yeah,
and I want you to slowly walk forward four times.
Let's go. One, two, three, four.
And then, can you walk your hands in toward your feet?
Bend your knees, take your time as you roll yourselves up.
Now, everybody at home let's try that.
Yes.
So grab your brothers, sisters, friends,
whoever is there with you.
I want you to face each other just like this.
Face each other.
Perfect.
I'm going to march back here.
Now you're going to cross each other, marching like an elephant
just like Mowgli.
So slowly walk your hands down. Let's go.
And I'm going to say, hop, two, three, four.
You're walking. Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, company halt.
Roll yourself up
and turn and face your friend again.
There we go.
Can you come a little bit closer?
Nice, Camden. Amazing, Lily.
Should we try it again?
Here we go.
Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, two, three, four.
Hop, company halt. Stand up.
All right, let's follow Mowgli and see who else we can say hi to.
Walk in a circle, march.
Here we go.
That was so much fun.
Yep.
Yeah.
Okay, ready?
And Baloo.
Say, hi, Baloo.
-Hi, Baloo. -Hey, Baloo.
All right, give me your Baloo arms.
Lift one arm here and the other arm here.
Bend your knees.
Now just our arms are going to do this.
They're going to swing from side to side.
And really lift those elbows up and have fun with it, okay?
Now the feet, they go like this.
I'm going to say,
hop, two, three, hop, two, three.
Cool?
So follow along with my feet.
Step down, hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Ready?
We're going to try it with our Baloo arms.
I want you to try and make this movement as big as you can at home, okay?
So let's start it together.
Three, two, one, let's go.
Hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Hop, two, three.
Press your feet into the ground and guess what?
We're going to shake our little Baloo tail all the way down
and come up.
[sigh] Let's try another Baloo move.
This time we're going to stomp really loudly like a strong bear.
Are you ready?
-Yeah. -Stomp with this foot.
You go stomp, this knee is going to come up two times.
Up, up, stomp.
Up, up, stomp.
Up, up, stomp.
Should we try it a little bit quicker?
Let's do it.
And stomp, up, up.
Stomp, up, up.
Stomp, up, up.
Stomp, up, up.
And give me one more Baloo tail shimmy.
There we go.
Let's go walking and see if we could find someone else.
Let's follow Mowgli and say, bye, Baloo.
Bye, Baloo.
Here we go. Let's go.
Who can show me a spin?
Whoo.
There we go.
You guys, we're seeing King Louie.
[gasp] King Louie is what?
He's an orangutan.
So orangutans have long arms.
So let's practice that.
Bend your knees, bellybuttons in,
hips go back just a little bit.
Our arms are going to stay just like this.
We'll just keep them round.
Let's do our footwork.
So step, this leg up, step, this leg up,
and then you step together, step.
Other side.
Step, lift, step, lift, step together, step.
If you want to get a little bit fancy,
which who doesn't right, let's try a little bit more arm work, okay.
So come down here with me and you go step, together, step.
Try it again, just the arms.
Arms out.
We go, step, together, step.
Looks good.
Should we try and add everything together?
Yes.
I think so.
Show me your King Louie arms.
Yes.
Hips back, bellybuttons in.
And step up, step up, step together, step.
Other side.
Step up, step up, step together, step.
Felt good.
Looked great.
Yes?
Okay, now we have another move, long King Louie arms.
So orangutan arms are so long, that guess what?
We get to play jump rope with them.
So just practice really opening everything up here.
Take a breath, down and up, bend your knees.
Get really low.
There it is.
One more.
Now let's just tuck our hands on top of our hips.
Let's do our feet.
Watch my feet first and then you guys join.
So feet go, kick, kick.
Kick, kick.
Kick, kick.
Kick, kick.
Kick, kick.
So now we're going to put everything together.
Let's get nice and low.
Three, two, one, and let's jump.
Kick, kick, up.
And up. Two more.
Up and up.
Felt great.
Awesome job.
Can we say, bye to King Louie?
Bye.
Bye, King Louie. Thanks for a great time.
And let's go walking.
Walking in the jungle.
Whoo, maybe add a turn.
And walk with me.
[sigh]
You guys, I had such a fun, wild adventure with you guys.
Thank you for joining us, yes.
Let's all take a breath in.
Breathe in all of your hard work.
Exhale, press everything out.
Can you slowly roll yourself down?
If you can touch your toes, amazing.
Bend your knees a little bit
and let's walk back out into that pushup/plank position.
Can you hold it here? Can we count to five?
Shoulders over your wrist.
Five, four, three, two, one.
Slowly come onto your knees, yes.
Open up your chest, give me a smile, cheese,
'cause we had so much fun.
Yes?
Yes.
Pull your bellybutton up, tuck your toes under just like we started.
Show me your down dog, tail up to the sky,
press through your heels, feel that beautiful stretch.
Inhale, exhale, shift back, slowly come onto your knees right here.
Toes are going to touch, knees are going to open,
and everyone reach forward, and reach forward.
And I want you to just close your eyes for a moment,
take a breath in, breathe in all of your hard work.
[inhale] And when you exhale, slowly roll yourselves up.
Press your hands into the floor giving you two options:
you can step one foot to the side of your hands, other foot to the side
or hop, three, two, one.
[hop] Perfect.
Hands on top of your legs, slowly roll yourselves up.
And we did it.
We went on a wild adventure.
Did you guys have fun?
Yeah.
I love it.
So remember at home,
all you need for a wild adventure is a little bit of fun,
your close friends, and you'll be good to go.
So thank you guys so much for joining us
and we'll see you next time, okay?
Bye.
Let's go.
What was your favorite move?
-The elephant. -The elephant.
And which one was yours, Lily?
