SLOVAKIA: TATRA MOUNTAINS. AN INSPIRATIONAL PARADISE WHEN BACKPACKING THROUGH EUROPE - Duration: 4:40.
We travel to find a path that show us our destiny.
to find pieces of the world that we need to be complete.
These are the Tatra mountains, where I found a large part of those pieces
Located between the north of Slovakia and the south of Poland, they were
a forbidden border as crossing between both countries without permission was considered illegal.
In 2007, both countries joined the Schengen territory and the border problem
was eliminated for the visitors
nowadays it is part of the biospheres of UNESCO

Exxon Sued Again For Climate Change Cover Up - Duration: 4:13.
New York Attorney General, Barbara Underwood, has filed a lawsuit against ExxonMobil on
behalf of shareholders for the company.
Over the fact that Exxon knew about the dangers of climate change, hid those dangers not just
from the American public, but from their shareholders.
This is a form of fraud and now Exxon is being sued for misleading investors about the company's
liability in terms of climate change and environmental damage.
Now, what's interesting about this lawsuit is that recently other lawsuits against Exxon
where thrown out.
Those were brought by cities and states against the company and other oil companies, over
their role in sea level rise and other forms of climate change that these cities and states
are now on the hook to have to pay for.
They wanted the oil companies to come in and pay their fair share for actually contributing
to this problem.
Those lawsuits were tossed out.
And, at the time, Mike Papantonio and I did segments about it, talking about why those
lawsuits failed, and Mike Papantonio specifically said, "The only way you're gonna be successful
at this point is to bring a shareholder derivatives lawsuit against ExxonMobil or any of these
other oil companies."
And, that is exactly what New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood is doing today.
It's almost like she listed to Pap and said, "That is the best course of action.
We're going to do that."
Now, of course, the New York Attorney General's office has actually been looking into this
issue for three years now.
And finally got enough information to be able to in their idea, what they're hoping to be
able to show that Exxon did hide this information from their shareholders, they lied about how
many costs the company was going to incur as a result of this, and therefore, people
invested their money into the company thinking it was a good investment, thinking the liabilities
were much lower than they actually were.
They were duped into investing and they are entitled to some kind of compensation for
this.
Because now as investors, they stand to lose a lot of money because Exxon lied.
What strikes me as sad about this story, and yes this is a legit case the shareholders
have, the investors have, absolutely, and I hope they're successful.
But what bugs the hell out of me, is that the only time we're able to get justice against
any corporation in the United States, is when they screw over wealthy people.
It is not just with Exxon.
We've seen in with Martin Shkreli, that was his thing.
He didn't go to jail for price gouging consumers, he went to jail for ripping off rich people.
Bernie Madoff didn't go to jail 'cause he was scamming mom and pop investors like major
Wall Street banks, he was scamming rich people.
And, now Exxon is facing the same kind of consequences.
They destroyed the planet, they lied about it, covered it up, funded misinformation for
decades, but now finally they're getting popped for it, but not because of the coverup, because
they covered it up from wealthy Americans.
The only way to get justice in this country is if you're an already wealthy individual.
Because at that point, you can hold anyone accountable.
Because God forbid something bad happened to the wealthy elite here in the United States.
Meanwhile, these low-lying cities, islands, coastal communities, are at risk of being
underwater in the next 50 years, because of what Exxon did.
Where's the remedy for these people?
Where's their compensation?
Where's the lawsuits for that?
Oh yeah, they got thrown out.
And that is sad.
But at least at this point, if this lawsuit by Barbara Underwood is successful, it will
force Exxon and send a message to other oil companies that they no longer can lie about
the dangers of climate change, they have to be open and upfront about it.
And, if they engage in any additional coverups, they're gonna get popped even more in the
future.

Diving in Cabo de Palos, Murcia! - Duration: 8:45.
Hello fellow travelers!
You are going to watch a video that we filmed on our trip to Cabo de Palos, Murcia.
Just in case you don't know, we are divers.
In fact, getting the PADI license was one of the first things we did when we started going out, right?
We have travelled around the world with the "excuse" of diving…
But, there are natural paradises on our Mediterranean coast, as in this case, Cabo de Palos.
What are you going to watch in this video?
The 2 dives we did, we will also show you the village of Cabo de Palos, its beaches and, very important,
we will interview Angel Manso, our ambassador, who is a divemaster.

Our first dive was "La Cala". Not very deep and a quiet dive in order to recover diving feelings.
Second dive, "the real one"! We dived in the nature reserve, "Piles II". We enjoyed a paradise full of life.
Well, friends, after diving, we are going to have lunch in El Faro restaurant.
It was recommended by our ambassador Angel.
This is a very touristy area, but he said this restaurant is really local and authentic, you'll see.
Ayyy…
What happens with you?
I'm tired!
You have to know that we made the two dives without having breakfast…
This sport is really tiring. Everything weights a lot…
I made my eyes like the ones of Shrek's cat so that some badass might help me…

Yes, of course, my "personal badass" helps me a lot but also the rest of the divers, who are very nice.
It's true that I'm very thin to be a diver…
Just to get in that "torture suit"… look, I skinned my knuckles by pulling it up…

Look at these "coquinas", we love them… they cook it with garlic… yummy!
Artichokes stuffed with seafood
The main course is a sea bream cooked in the oven with salt.
They recommended it because they caught it last evening!
Now it's time for a nap on the beach.
We are on the Levante beach. It links the lighthouse with La Manga.
The temperature is perfect, and it's super clean!
Look, our feet are clearly visible!
Behind us is the Cabo de Palos lighthouse.
It measures 80 meters high and its light illuminates 40 kms around.
This area is pretty dangerous for boats. There are a lot of submerged islands.
From the time of the Roman Empire, they lit fires here in order to let the sailors know
that this area was complicated.
Before it was a light house, it was an observation post they used to protect themselves
from the attacks from Berber pirates.
In fact, they say that in the 16th century here was a huge forest, that was chopped down
in order to have a better view of the coast and prevent the attacks.
From the lighthouse starts the path that will take you to La Manga.
It will take you no more than 2 hours. It's 8 km long. It's very pleasant because it's totally flat.
Fellow travelers, we are here with Angel Manso, our ambassador in Cabo de Palos.
He is a divemaster in one of the most important and best known divecenters here, El Naranjito.
Why is Cabo de Palos such an emblematic place for diving?
This is considered the number one diving destination in Europe.
Why? Because the peak of the cape is really close to the ocean,
so it's the road for a lot of species that enter and exit from the Mediterranean Sea.
Besides, a lot of sea currents converge here, which brings a lot of life.
Furthermore, it's a nature reserve, so, there are a lot of fish because fishing is not allowed.
In fact, you told us that there are some species that are not easy to see in the Mediterranean sea.
Here you can see dolphins, hunchback whales, tropical fish…
Apart from the wildlife, there are some other important dives, specifically some wreckages, right?
Yes, there are a lot of sunken boats.
There are some boats from the Second World War. As Spain was neutral,
many warships came to Cartagena to refuel.
The Stanfield is a great wreckage, the Carbonero, Doris…
There is another one, called Naranjito, that is easy to dive because it's around 26 and 47 meter depth.
The others are much more difficult and you'll need to be a really advanced diver.
There is another one, called Sirio, aka "the European Titanic".
A lot of people died, it has been one of the most important naval accidents in Europe.
We know you worked in another industry, nothing to do with diving…
we know it's your passion… but… be honest…
Aren't you bored of diving four or five times a day in Cabo de Palos?
Not at all! This is marvelous!
I'm going to say straight to the camera: If I had 15 days of vacation, I'd devote them to dive here, right now!
Well, our friends, before we wish you goodbye, we want to tell you that
Cabo de Palos has other beautiful beaches apart from Levante.
If you turn left when exiting from Cabo de Palos, you will find Cala Reona, where we are now,
and Calblanque beaches.
It's hard to get there, so, we recommend that you take a 4x4 car.
