South Korea has designated a special day to commemorate the biggest peasant revolution

in Korean history.

The Cabinet, in a meeting led by Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon, voted on a bill to commemorate

May 11th as the anniversary of the Donghak Peasant Revolution, which took place in 1894.

Then, Korean peasants rose up against corrupt government officials and the Japanese military

that tried to stop them.

The vote is part of efforts to raise awareness of this historic event.

U.S. lawmakers say sanctions on N. Korea to remain until significant steps made on denuclearization - Duration: 0:50.

With the second North Korea-U.S. summit fast approaching, the U.S. Congress seems to be

pondering what to do about its sanctions on Pyeongyang.

In an interview with VOA,...

Representative Ted Yoho,.. member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee,... said American

sanctions on Pyeongyang will remain until complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization,

or CVID, is achieved.

U.S. Senator Cory Gardner,...

Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on East Asia and the Pacific also said no

sanctions will be lifted until then.

Some other Congressmen like Brad Sherman,.. a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs

Committee,...also agreed that the U.S. has to maintain the sanctions,... but said the

U.S. needs to have more realistic goals,... instead of CVID,... like limiting the number

of nuclear weapons.

Expectations for N. Korea-U.S. summit should be realistic : Joel Wit - Duration: 0:49.

A former American diplomat says he thinks the key to success in the upcoming summit

with North Korea is for everyone to have realistic expectations..., and for futher negotiations

to continue right afterwards.

Speaking at forum at the National Assembly on Tuesday,...

Joel Wit, the founder of 38 North, said... the denuclearization of North Korea will be

a long, difficult process and he called for a phase-by-phase procedure.

He said...

Washington and Seoul should be able to accept that it will take North Korea a long time

to give up its most threatening missiles.... because the regime considers them part of

its security.

Given that,...

Wit called on the two sides to hold immediate discussions once they reach a deal... so that

they don't repeat the mistakes that caused progress to slow down after the Singapore

summit.

Crown prince of Abu Dhabi to visit Seoul next week - Duration: 0:55.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who's also the de facto leader

of the United Arab Emirates, will make a two-day official visit to South Korea next week at

the invitation of President Moon Jae-in.

According to the Blue House, the two leaders will hold a bilateral summit next Wednesday,

a day after the crown prince arrives,... which will then be followed by the signing of an

MOU and a state luncheon.

They are expected to discuss specific and practical ways to further cultivate their

countries' special strategic partnership by expanding cooperation in areas including 5G

technology, the defense industry... and information communication technology.

The confirmation of the UAE leader's visit has effectively quashed the rumor that President

Moon might head to Vietnam to join the second Kim-Trump summit for a possible "end of war"

declaration.

[ISSUE TALK] Eyes on summit agenda with N. Korea-U.S. summit only week away - Duration: 13:16.

and for more dr. Koo Myung Hyun and research fellow from the asan Institute

for Policy Studies joins us in the studio today welcome to the program

my pleasure so there's just about a week left before the Kim Trump summit and

eyes are on how the joint statement will shape up and what sort of deals it will

contain now as we heard in the previous report CNN reported that the two sides

are seriously considering exchanging liaison officers how far do you think

the negotiations have taken place based on this report and would this be a first

step to establishing formal diplomatic ties between the two well oftentimes

establishing relations office I suffer step towards a normalization of

relations with in between United States and another country and I think that

took two countries here are taking the formal steps towards normalization but

we had to take into account the fact that so there's a little bit of a

mismatch between the negotiation position between North Korea and the

United States from what we have heard so far from the information that we have

gathered North Korea what we really want from the United States is economic

concessions essentially sanctions relief so they pull assign law priority when it

comes to the political symbols such as license office on the other hand the

United States skeptical about the possibility of a complete localization

of North Korea and as a venerable decision to upgrade the relations with

North Korea very quickly so instead of offering a sanctions relief United

States is putting on the table for the possibility of upgrading down I mean

start taking the prostitutes normalization by offering to establish

relations office in North Korea so this is actually indicates to me that the two

countries upstairs have some gap in their positions towards denuclearization

and the United States might want to offer this to North Korea but we don't

know yet whether North Korea will take it yeah so it seemed more symbolic

now under the 1994 agreed framework better known as the Geneva agreement

based on where it was signed North Korea and the u.s. had a group there to open

liaison offices that would later develop into

ambassadorial level which the plan fell through do you think the second summit

will be an opportune moment to get these talks or get these plans going again

clearly the establishment of liaison offices has become a form of leverage or

Nakano offer to speed up the democratization negotiations so it's

clear that the US side is making this query serious offered on to North Korea

so should North Korea take the I mean given the background of slow progress

not in acquisition a process I'll say that US is going to propose having a

small license of his system or large distance office depending I mean in a

way the size of the license office to be established in Pyongyang could be

indicative of how successful the negotiations are going to be between the

two countries if the US are going to establish a big listen surface with

multiple staffers that will indicate that the United States is a very

optimistic about the eventual increases in North Korea are going to use the

resource office as the basis to accreditor to an ambassador ambassador

see down the road but then if US offers a small distance surface such as the one

that they could put in a suicide office along with within the Swedish embassy

compound also in having offered the consular service to American citizens in

North Korea then that would indicate the u.s. still really skeptical about the

successful negotiation to the organization so I think obviously

remains to be seen so shifting gears to the summit itself

we still don't know where the summit venue will be held or at which hotels

leaders will be staying now a high possibility for the summit venue is the

Vietnam National Convention Center where the 2010 ASEAN summit was held and

another option that's being speculated is the Hanoi Opera House which was built

during the French colonial era what significance do these two venues have

well there's not really political significance attached these venues per

se but it's all about the location and a distance between the hotel and the

conference venue for respective leaders the convention center nice apparently

lies closer to the hotel the present room is going to stay in an away and

opera house stays actually that is the opposite case Opera House actually is a

closer to the hotel that Kim jong-un is expected to stay so I think that both

sides are little bit arguing over no protocol issues I think are they want

our respective leaders to I mean their own respective leaders to stay closer to

the conference venue which makes the whole thing much simpler for both of

them so something will still have to wait for North Korean leader Kim

jong-un's de-facto chief of staff kim ki-chun son is stepping up preparations

in Vietnam there's reports that he's viewing some possible sites that Kim can

visit so as he is a key official in charge of protocol a lot of attention is

on where he visits because Kim jong-un could actually potentially visit these

sites and instead of flying straight to Hanoi the official went via Kong Jo and

while in Hanoi he also visit that the Vietnamese border with China

now given that Kim Jong and Kim jong-un's father Kim jong-il also made a

visit to Punisher back in 2006 do you think there would be a potential visit

by Kim jong-un himself given that the city is known for reform and economic

development well clearly Kim jong-un is on a drive to give up this perception

that the North Korea's contain back on a major economy form an opening so in that

sense the visiting Guangzhou is very symbolic step and simply location to

conduct the kind of message to the rest of the world but it doesn't mean that

just because his chief of staff mr. Alonso and the volar between them

and China that Kim jong-un is also going to take that route on the way to Hanoi

it's just one of the many options that probably North Korea is entertaining at

the moment so a lot of things remain under the wraps a lot of speculation

what do you think is the likeliness of Kim jong-un traveling to Vietnam through

a land route well I think that little bit I mean I really be surprised if kim

giman is going to take the land route from North Korea all the way down to

Vietnam apparently to come to take multiple days at least three days and

we're talking about criss crossing a huge country like China North and South

touch country represent a enormous amount of disruption to the economy

activities in the in China the second largest economy in the world so I don't

forget you'd likely for him to take the land route but he might actually use

part of the trade using train so that's a possibility but I wouldn't expect him

German to make the whole trip to Vietnam by train so while there are a

speculation about a small deal or a big deal US President Donald Trump will

likely face scrutiny when he gets back home after the summit should the summit

feel to bring about substantial progress towards North Korea's denuclearization

or depending on what sorts of concessions he makes to Pyongyang but if

he is able to make convincing progress it could strengthen his footing in the

US at a time when he faces a lot of domestic issues with that in mind do you

think it will be all efforts to make a breakthrough in this summit I think

that's what that's an option 4% romper out on the other hand it's also an

option for him to keep making his relations to Kim jong-un and then having

in a multiple summits down the road because he can really continue this

perception that is to working really hard and you mind every time to the US

electorate that he's been able to do something that his predecessors failed

so I think this second summary is not going to be the end overall so Matt and

I think a person Jerome has been trying to manage the expectations in the record

and downgrading the level of the power for success from completing Makran

ization to something about the stability and security so I would say that he's

not going to make this data current upcoming summit the end of all cements

is going to make it a sell was another episode is ongoing saga so I think is

going to use that I mean each auction what about convenient for him to use the

continuation of the diplomatic talks in North Korea for continued I mean Anika

took about the perception to the US electorate that he said keeping and

having success when it comes to North Korea so another of many more to come

stepping aside a little bit there has been speculation that the u.s. is trying

to send a message to China by visiting Vietnam especially at a time

when Washington and Beijing are engaged in this trade more how do you see it

well I think that's a little bit of stretch I'll say because clearly you

know this is I mean the meeting between North Korea and the United States

something that's supported by China China definitely wants to see some sort

of negotiate and possibly welcome to the negotiation between the two countries

so the venue doesn't really matter for China we got to remember the last one

last time and in Singapore China was the one that supplied the logistics of

travel to Kim jong-un so China I think is behind this and I think he's going to

see the venue the which is Vietnam this time as a way for the u.s. to send a

message to China that the u.s. is spending or containing China in the

region so Vietnam itself is also stepping up a lot of preparations on its

own giving this summit a lot of media coverage and it's also setting up a

press Center for international reporters what are some of the benefits for

Vietnam for hosting this kind of summer well it clearly racist Viet Nam's

profile not just I mean major economy or that case a free advertisement from

Verizon from from the rest of world but also erases its diplomatic standing in

the eyes of the internal community and the fact that is enabled I mean the

Vietnam has been able to host a meeting between a very reclusive a paranoid

leader such as Kim Jong and the US president isn't going to really be

impressive I mean I mean a lot of people are going to find that very impressive

and it's going to make Fenimore influential voice in the future of the

international diplomacy so I think that's what we now actually craves and

it's got to make use of it down the road shifting gears a little bit South Korean

president moon jae-in on Monday said that he expects great development

towards developing or normalizing Pyongyang Washington ties as well as

North Korea's denuclearization now his comments come amid concerns that

there could only be a small deal coming out of the second summit now he has

expected to talk with President Trump over the phone soon what kind of things

do you think will be discussed and do you think this will give us an idea of

what to expect for the second summit well there's a

that's one of standing issue between North Korea and the United States we

heard from the media reports that US might offer to sign the Declaration to

in the world in Hanoi so there's a circulation that president moon would

cry to Hanoi to join the summit between the two

leaders to sign the Declaration to in the war agreement but then that didn't

materialize so but then I think despite the fact that our likelihood of the

creation being - in the world inside this time the system chance of her

happening and this is going to be a an option for the United States to offer to

North Korea as a way to incentivize North Korea to denuclearize so I think

all the present Trump impressive more I want to make the discussion about this

potential option and then sort of keep it alive so to speak so also on the

other hand the possibility of small do big deal but remember that you know just

our Puri success in the eyes of the beholder so I think present moon is what

to find any positive outcome no matter how big or small

what's a greater success so I would say that I mean I think I percent moon it's

pretty positive about the fact that something will come out of this so

before we let you go working-level talks are expected to take place this week if

the talks earlier this month in Pyongyang were aimed at browsing all the

cards each side had what do you think will be discussed this time and do you

think anything will we'll be able to hear anything about it before the summit

so I think we heard a lift from the American side what American side is

putting on the table we heard about a liaison surface when the possibility

discipline is lower but declaration tender or agreement is also on the table

and there's some sanctions relief or measure at least there'll be an

expansion about humanitarian assistance in North Korea so this order of shots

that the US has put on the table but we haven't heard much from the North Korean

side that's an indication that the two sides are still really working really

hard to come to an agreement before they have the summit next week so I think

that's pretty much what's going on right now okay I'm afraid that's all the time

we have for today thank you for your insights my pleasure

S. Korea's steel exports to U.S. fell more compared to countries that were subject to tariffs: KOTRA - Duration: 1:45.

Last year, South Korea managed to avoid the Trump administration's tariffs on steel...

and instead agreed to quotas.

It was considered a win at the time,... but a new report suggests otherwise.

Ko Roon-hee reports.

It's been almost a year since the South Korean government agreed to the Trump Administration's

steel import quotas.

But latest analysis by the Washington office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency

shows South Korea's steel exports to U.S. actually dropped more than other countries

that were subject to higher tariffs.

From January to November 2018, South Korea's steel exports to the U.S. dropped 13 percent

on-year.

That's a lot higher than other countries, including Japan and China, that recorded drops

of 0-point-7 percent and 7-point-3 percent, respectively.

This all comes after Washington agreed to exempt 25 percent tariffs on steel imports

from South Korea... but instead limited the amount of imports to the 70 percent level

of the annual average Korean steel exports to the U.S. between 2015 and 2017.

China and Japan opted to pay the higher tariffs.

Washington's trade actions were carried out under Section 232 of the U.S. Trade Expansion

Act.

A separate analysis by the Mercatus Center, a think tank at George Mason University, pointed

out that countries that chose tariffs were able to lessen the damage by getting more

tariff exclusions on certain products.

Although South Korea did apply for exclusions, the requests were filed later than China and

Japan.

Watchers say the analysis calls into question the South Korean government's decision to

choose quotas instead of higher tariffs.

Ko Roon-hee, Arirang News.

N. Korea-U.S. summit: how Kim and Trump came from Singapore to Vietnam - Duration: 2:13.

It's only been about eight months since Kim Jong-un and President Trump first met last

year in Singapore.

Our Kan Hyeong-woo takes a look at some of the ups and downs in their countries' relations

since then.

On June 12, 2018,... the world witnessed what many had once considered impossible - a face-to-face

meeting between a North Korean leader and a sitting U.S. President.

At the historic summit in Singapore, Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump agreed to establish new relations

for peace and prosperity.

Pyeongyang reaffirmed its commitment to work toward complete denuclearization in exchange

for security guarantees from the U.S.

The two leaders also agreed to the repatriation of the remains of American soldiers killed

during the Korean War.

Following the Singapore summit, President Trump announced the U.S. would suspend joint

military drills with South Korea,... which have been frequently criticized by the North.

As a result, large-scale exercises have been put on ice,... while small drills continue.

Pyeongyang responded by sending back 55 cases believed to contain the remains of U.S. troops

killed during the Korean War.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has made two official trips to Pyeongyang since the

Singapore summit.

Pompeo's first visit last July was largely viewed as a failure as North Korea condemned

the U.S. delegation for making "gangster-like" demands of the regime's denuclearization.

But Pompeo's next trip in October was better than the first,... indicating some progress

was being made.

After the remainder of 2018 did not see concrete steps taken towards the North's complete denuclearization,...

President Trump met in January with North Korean officials at the White House.

And as Trump announced during his State of the Union address on February 6th that there

would be a second North Korea-U.S. summit,... negotiators from the North and the U.S. met

in Pyeongyang to discuss the summit agenda and logistical details.

Kim and Trump are scheduled to meet for the second time from February 27th to 28th in

Hanoi to further discuss North Korea's denuclearization in exchange for corresponding measures from

the U.S. Kan Hyeong-woo, Arirang News.

Are you listening?

Are you listening?

What's the matter?

Where have you brought us?

What do you mean?

We reached here late last night.

We couldn't see the neighbourhood in the dark.

When I woke up today, I saw that this is a Muslim neighbourhood.

How does it matter if it is Muslim neighbourhood? - What do you mean?

How will I live here with my children?

Don't act so immature. Muslims are not animals.

They won't hurt you.

You don't understand.

It's no use trying to explain.

I can't stay in one place. I will have to go where the government sends me.

It doesn't matter if you don't think you can live here.

So, we'll have to live in a Muslim neighbourhood!

Aren't there Muslim neighbourhoods in Kolkata?

Metiapur, Park Circus, Raja Bazar...

All these are Muslim neighbourhoods.

Don't Hindus live there? They don't keep running.

But... - Listen. You have a family.

They also have families.

You have children and so do they.

You love your children..

..and so do they.

You don't want riots, nor do they.

But I am scared.

Wait for a few days, you will feel better.

Go and make some tea.

After tea, we'll arrange things in order.

Then we have to get Mou and Raju enrolled in school.

"O India, our motherland.."

"..you have accepted everyone."

"Be it Parsi, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu.."

"..Christian, Sikh or Muslim."

"O India, our motherland.."

"..you have accepted everyone."

"..you have accepted everyone."

"Be it Parsi, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu.."

"..Christian, Sikh or Muslim."

"O India, our motherland..."

Mou has to go in the afternoon and Raju has to go in the morning.

Why did you get them enrolled in such a school?

Enrolling children to the school is quite difficult these days.

Fortunately, they got good grades last year. So, they were enrolled easily.

If we had to worry about the time, we couldn't get them enrolled.

Have you taken a good look at the other students?

Everyone except Raju and me are Muslims.

Oh no! Is that true?

Then you don't have to go to school. Stay at home.

You are too much! Why do you believe everything she says?

Hindus, Muslims and Christians study there alike.

Who is here?

Greetings, sir.

Who are you? - I'm Haroon. I own a dairy.

A dairy? - Yes.

I see, so you are here to sell milk. - Yes.

Good. Please come in.

I've solved the problem of getting milk.

Haroon, come in.

Now tell him how much milk do you need and when.

Every morning, I need 1 and a half kg. - I can bring milk in the evening too.

Okay.

Shall I start tomorrow? - Yes.

I'll take your leave now, sir. - Okay. - Bye.

You have lost your head.

You brought that Muslim man inside the house!

What's wrong with you? He'll have to come to the house to give milk.

No, he won't.

He will give us milk in the courtyard.

Okay. He will do that.

Mom, we didn't ask him..

..if he'll give us milk from a Hindu cow or a Muslim cow.

Stop joking.

What does he carry the milk in?

He had a bucket.

Does he wash the bucket properly?

Stop that nonsense and let's discuss about the household chores.

Will you manage doing the dishes and cleaning or do you need a maid?

I will manage if we find a Hindu girl.

Otherwise, I'll manage everything on my own.

I won't let a Muslim woman work here.

What have you brought? - 'Luchis' and 'halwa'. What about you?

I've brought 'mudhi' and potato fries.

Will you share my lunch? - Yes, I will.

C'mon, let's share our lunches.

Today, I'll take you home with me.

Why? - I've told my mom a lot about you.

Mom wants to meet you. - I haven't told my family.

Mom must be worried.

You may leave soon after you reach. My brother is here with our car.

Brother, this is my friend, Mou.

Hello. - Hello.

She told me that you dance very well.

She was lying. - I wasn't. She is an amazing dancer.

She danced while we were in the class.

Please play the 'tabla' at home. She will dance.

I won't. - That's okay. Get in the car, first.

Let's go. - Yes.

Dear, you dance very well.

That's okay.

May you become a great artist.

That's okay.

I am going to make arrangements so that..

I can watch your dance everyday.

What are you doing?

Let her touch your feet.

She may have to touch your feet often.

Ma'am, please get milk.

Mou, get milk from him.

Hey! Don't touch the bucket with that bowl.

Why is that milk so thin?

What did you say?

Have you mixed water to the milk?

You may ask anyone in the village if I mix water to the milk or not.

Okay, you may go.

Hello, sir. - Hello.

You could've asked Haroon to find a maid.

He will find a Muslim girl.

You may tell her that you need a Hindu girl.

He knows several people. He will find someone.

We'll do that later. Go and find out if Raju is done or not.

Take him to the school and then buy some vegetables.

Hello, sir. - Hello.

What fish did you buy? - 'Tangra'.

'Tangra' tastes nice, but it has too many bones.

That reminds me. Can you arrange some maid for work?

Why not? Tell me what she will have to do.

Helping in the kitchen, cleaning the house and doing the dishes.

Household help? - Yes.

Okay. You will find someone within two days.

But we don't want a Muslim woman.

You don't need to tell me that.

I've been delivering milk to your house. I've seen your wife.

She is a nice woman. That's her only vice.

Your daughter is nice.

She passes my house every day to go to school.

She greets me every day.

Then you'll find a maid, right? I'll tell my family.

Okay.

What do you want to say? - Come here.

I've brought something for you. - What?

What will I do with this? - I gave it to you.

You may keep it or throw it away.

You are too much. - Listen! You were looking for a maid. Did you find one?

I've been working in this village for the last 8 years.

Hindus and Muslims never had a riot in this village.

Everyone lives here like a huge family.

How many families do you work with?

4 more families.

Are those all Hindu families?

No, two families are Hindus and two others are Muslims.

Oh no! Before you came here..

..did you work for a Hindu family or a Muslim one?

I worked with a Muslim family. They are famous people here.

Mr. Sirajuddin Mohammed.

I don't care how famous he is. He is a Muslim, after all.

Were you wearing these clothes when you worked there?

I work at others' houses. How many saris do you think I'd have?

Okay. Do me a favour. I will give you a sari tomorrow.

After you come here after working with that Muslim family..

..sprinkle holy water on your head and change your sari, okay?

Changing the sari won't be enough. Her petticoat and blouse..

..will also be befouled from a Muslim family.

You are right. I didn't think about that.

Okay. I will give you a petticoat and a blouse, too.

What about her bangles and earrings?

Stop making fun of everything. Go and find out if Raju is ready.

Go carefully.

Don't play with bad boys.

Glory to Goddess Durga.

Excuse me, are you listening?

Is that a toy gun?

Who are you? Where do you live?

My name is Raju. Raju Chowdhury. I have moved into that house.

Please tell me. Is that a toy gun?

Why? Do you want to play with this?

No, that is your gun. I have a gun, too.

It is small. I can blow caps with it.

Do you have caps for that gun?

I don't have a cap, but some bullets.

Are those real bullets? - Yes.

Please show me. - They are kept in the cupboard.

I'll show them to you if you come later.

Please show them to me now. - Won't you go to school?

I will. - It's almost time. Don't be late.

Go on. - Will you show them to me in the evening? - I will.

Hands up!

I am your father. Don't shoot me.

Will you take me for a ride on a buggy? I won't shoot you then.

Okay, I will.

What is she saying? - I don't know.

Dad, will you show me a ship?

Thankfully, you didn't ask me to take you on a ship.

I will show you.

So, I will have to go abroad.

I don't want to go away from you.

Even I don't like anything when you go away.

This is my last chance. I won't go out again.

I will find some job here.

Dad, are you going out tomorrow? - Yes.

What will you bring for me? - Tell me what you want.

I want a lot of bangles.

Okay. You tell me what you want.

I want a lot of bullets for my gun. - Okay.

We have annual function next month.

We will have dance, music and recitation performances.

Those, who want to participate, please raise your hands.

Tell me your name and what you want to do.

Shukla Mandal. I will recite a poetry.

Shukla Mandal for recitation.

What about you? - I won't perform.

Mou will dance. Mou Chowdhury. - Hey! No!

I've seen you dance. You must perform.

You are... - Sit down. - Mou Chowdhury for dance.

You've met my mom.

If she gets to know... - Why are you so scared?

On our way back to home, I will talk to your mom.

Okay. Let her father come back from work.

I will let you know after I talk to him.

There is nothing to talk about.

She is such a good dancer. Everyone should see that.

That's okay, but... - My father is your age.

But my dad never stops my brother from learning and performing music.

In fact, he encourages my brother.

Your brother is a man but she is a woman.

Women can't do what men can.

Why not? Nowadays, women are capable of doing everything.

Mom, I'm going to play. - Don't go far.

I am going to the nearest ground.

May I leave now, aunt?

I have already got her registered.

She will have to perform. Bye.

Listen.

You know that I don't like all this.

What could I do? - She got me registered.

Tell your teacher that you won't perform because your dad refused.

Okay.

Change your uniform..

..and check where Raju has gone.

You had said that you'd show me bullets.

Show them to me. - Come in.

Is that a real deer hide?

Yes.

Who killed that deer?

I did. - Did you?

Yes. - What did you use to kill it?

I used that gun.

Can you kill a tiger with that gun? - Yes.

Tiger, lion, elephant, bear... Everything can be killed with it.

You wanted to see bullets, right? - Let me show you bullets.

May I hold the gun?

Yes.

Wait!

Now hold it.

It's so heavy!

Give me a bullet.

Do you want to kill a tiger? - No, I want to fire in the air.

One, two, three.

The gun is really heavy. I'm tired.

Please give me some water to drink.

You want water. Wait!

I asked to have water and he said a different name for water.

What is there to laugh about?

Water has a different name in every language.

We address our father as dad. Wow do they address them?

They address fathers as 'Abbajan'. Now start studying.

'Y E A R, year.'

The gun is really heavy. I got tired when I carried it.

Uncle Siraj killed 9 tigers, 2 lions..

..and 4 crazy elephants.

Are you going to study or not?

You know, I have told uncle Siraj..

..that I'll take you to his house once.

Will you let me study? - Tell me. Will you go there once?

If mom gets to know that you went there, she'll beat you black and blue.

How will she find out? - Now study or I'll tell her.

'Y E A R, year. M O N T H, month.'

'D A Y, day.'

Mou, what do they call a day?

Mom, come and look. Raju isn't letting me study. - Okay. I'm studying.

'M O N T H, month. D A Y, day.'

It has been 15 days, since we've arrived here.

Did you have any problem yet?

We didn't have a problem. But... - But, what?

Until Mou or Raju come back home..

..I get really worried.

What are you worried about? What if Mou is..

..being friendly with a Muslim boy?

Greetings, ma'am.

Oh, no! Who is he?

What's the matter?

Who are you? - I'll tell you.

Let me touch your feet first. - Hey! Don't touch me.

Why are you doing that? Why can't I touch you?

Why don't you tell me who you are?

My name is Haji Gulam Mohammed Akbar Hussain Dildar Khan.

I didn't ask you to name your entire family.

Tell me your name.

Why would I tell you my entire family's name. That's my name.

That's your name! You have a mile long name!

Please call Mou out. - Why do you need her?

Mou asked me to come here. - We study in the same class.

Mou is my closest friend. - What?

Mou is your closest friend!

What's the matter? Are you feeling dizzy? - Mou!

Why did you do this?

I'm really thirsty, aunt. Please give me a glass of water.

I can't give you water. Please go away from here. - Okay.

Water is in the kitchen, right? I'll get it for myself.

Wait! Where are you going? Why are you going there?

Don't touch that.

Oh no! You've befouled all my vessels and water.

You ruined everything.

I am ruined!

How will I arrange so much holy water?

Why haven't you called Mou yet? - I told you that she isn't home.

She isn't home! I'll go then.

I'll go to her house and sleep.

Hey! Where are you going?

Don't sit on that bed. I'm warning you!

He ruined my bedding, too!

Mom, take it. - What is this?

Mou has sent holy water for you.

You said that you'd sprinkle it on yourself. - Shut up!

Where is your sister? - Mou...

She is sleeping on the bed.

Are you out of your mind?

Your sister's friend, that Muslim man is sleeping on the bed.

That's Mou. Today, she had a fancy dress competition today.

She dressed up as a Muslim boy and got the first prize.

So, mom, what will you do with the holy water?

Will you keep it or bathe with it?

You irritated me for long. Now you're trying to pamper me!

Let your dad come home. I'll teach you a lesson. Let me go.

What do you do in school? - We sing our prayers.

What do you sing?

You've promised to take me for a boat ride.

Take me there. I'll sing there. - Okay.

"O India, our motherland.."

"..you have accepted everyone."

"Be it Parsi, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu.."

"..Christian, Sikh or Muslim."

"O India, our motherland.."

"..you have accepted everyone."

"Be it Parsi, Jain, Buddhist, Hindu.."

"..Christian, Sikh or Muslim."

"O India, our motherland..."

Stay here. I'll be right back.

Are you going to worship? - Worship?

Yes. Is there God inside that place?

Allah is there. - Allah!

Don't you have Goddess Kali there? - Allah and Goddess Kali are the same.

Does Allah have his tongue out like this?

Allah is just like Goddess Kali. Stay here.

Where are you going?

Have you seen Raju? - No, I haven't.

He left homes saying that he would go to play. But I can't find him.

Has he gone to Siraj's house?

No, uncle Siraj isn't at home. The house is locked.

I'm sure he has gone with Siraj.

Who are you? - Raju.

Raju! What's your surname? - Raju Chowdhury. - Chowdhury!

Chowdhurys are both, Hindus and Muslims.

Are you Hindu or Muslim?

Why do you want to know that?

He looks like a Hindu boy.

How does that matter? - What are you saying?

Hindus had burnt your wife and children alive.

Who told you that Hindus had set my house on fire?

Didn't Hindus set your house on fire? - Only not mine.

Even Hindus houses were burnt. That means, Muslims did that.

No, I mean... - Listen.

Neither Hindus, nor Muslims set those houses on fire.

A few anti-social elements did that. They don't follow any religion.

They are neither Hindu, nor Muslims. Let's go.

I've heard that you are going to perform at your school.

Who told you? - I deliver milk to several people.

Someone told me. - Will you come to watch me perform? - Of course.

Okay. I'll give you a card. - When will you perform?

It's next Monday. Will you be there, uncle Siraj?

How will I go? Your sister hasn't invited me.

How will I do that? I'll have to go to his house if I want to do that.

Do you want to come? I will take you there.

Are you crazy? Mom will kill me if she finds out.

How will mom find out. Tomorrow is Sunday. It's a holiday.

Tell mom that you will go to Rama's house.

What do you need there?

Our teacher tutors her on history. I want him to tutor me to.

Mou, will you take me along? - Why do you want to along?

Why can't you take him along?

Do I need to take him everywhere I go?

What's the problem in that? - Okay, come along.

Be careful. Don't be late.

I can't wait for you after I cook lunch.

Uncle Siraj, please open the door.

Uncle Siraj, she is my sister.

Please come in. C'mon.

Sit down.

Why did you do that?

You are a Hindu woman. How could you touch a Muslim's feet?

Why shouldn't I? You are like a father to me.

Let me touch your feet, too.

There is no one else in the house.

I don't have anyone in the family.

Where are your wife and children?

I had a family.

I had a wife.

I had a daughter, too.

Had my daughter been alive..

..she would be as old as you.

What happened to them?

I used to live in Kolkata then.

Sometimes, I had to go abroad for my hunting business.

While I was abroad..

..a riot had broken out in Kolkata.

'I want a lot of bangles.'

'I want a lot of bullets for my gun.'

All I have a photo album now.

I spend my days looking those photos.

Please show me the album.

She is my daughter, Amina.

He is my son Munna, my wife and Amina.

I lost everything in fire. I don't have anyone else.

Who told you that you are alone? Raju and I are here with you.

Why don't you consider us like Amina and Munna?

It's like they are back to you.

Don't misguide me.

No, uncle. I am not misguiding you. I mean it.

You may consider the two of us as your son and daughter.

We will come to meet you every day.

Abbajan!

Say that again. Say it again.

Abbajan.

Won't you love me, uncle Siraj?

Come here.

Is something burning?

What? - Yes, I think something is burning there.

I had put rice to boil. I think that's burning.

You've burnt the rice while talking to us.

You will have to cook rice again.

No, I'll eat this. - You want to eat burnt rice!

I am an unfortunate man.

You won't eat this. Move away.

I will clean the vessel and cook rice again.

Why do you bother? - Move away.

Aunt!

I can't see Mou and Raju. Have they gone somewhere?

What? She went to your house around an hour ago along with Raju.

No, I am coming from home.

They didn't go there.

Where did they go then?

I had told you that this was not a good neighbourhood.

You didn't listen to me.

Why are you getting impatient? - Why won't I be impatient?

They left around an hour ago. What if a Muslim man kidnapped them?

Don't blame Muslims for everything. I'll check.

Why don't you inform at the police station?

Let me have a look first.

It is possible that they took another route to your house and are there now.

Okay, let's go to my house then.

Here, have lunch.

What's the matter? Start eating.

'Dad, please try the meat. It's delicious. I cooked it.'

'Did you cook it? What are you saying?'

Then I'll eat an entire plateful of rice with the meat.

They aren't here.

They still don't know all the roads in the village yet.

I wonder where the siblings are.

You should go to the police station with Pradeep.

Yes, let's go. - Go home before you go anywhere else.

What if they've gone back home by now?

Okay. - I'll come along.

Where did you go? - I told you that we'd go to Rama's house.

Did you go to Rama's house. - Where else would I go?

Rama was here just a while ago.

Your dad heard that you didn't go to their house..

..so, he has gone to look for you.

Where did you go, Raju?

Tell her. - We went to uncle Siraj's house.

Uncle Siraj! Who is he?

Lata goes to work in his house, before coming to work here.

He is a renowned man here.

You went to a Muslim man's house!

Don't call him a Muslim man. It sounds very bad.

What else should I call him?

Hey, come out!

Why did you go there?

Mou went to invite uncle Siraj.

What did she invite him for?

Mou asked Siraj to attend the school function.

Why does she like that man so much..

..that she had to lied to me for going to invite him?

It takes only a while to invite someone. Why did you take so long?

Uncle Siraj burnt his rice while talking to us.

Mou choked fresh rice to feed Uncle Siraj.

Disgusting! She didn't bathe after entering the kitchen of a Muslim man!

Wait! I'll teach her a lesson.

Go and have a bath. - I had a bath this morning.

Why would I bathe again? - Don't argue!

You went to a Muslim man's kitchen.

Go and have a bath. - I won't.

You won't! I'll teach you a lesson.

Come with me! How dare you?

You are hurting me! Let me go! - C'mon!

What's the problem? - Don't ask me!

Your daughter ruined my religion.

She lied to me to go to meet someone named Siraj.

Siraj!

Do you mean Sirajuddin Mohammed? - Yes.

So what if she did?

I've heard that his daughter, son and wife..

..died in a fire.

I've heard that he is a nice man.

I don't care what kind of a man he is, he is a Muslim.

Why would she go there? Doesn't she have anyone else to invite?

And even if she went there, why did she have to cook for him?

What could I do, dad?

The rice he was cooking got burnt while he was talking to us.

He was ready to eat burnt rice.

I didn't like to see that.

I was reminded of you.

'I was reminded of you.'

You think that your father is like that Muslim man!

Yes, we are alike. Both of have been parents.

Religions can't change that similarity.

Ask him to dismiss her maid.

Your daughter will cook for him. - I'll take your leave then.

Who is he? - He is Rama's brother. He went to the police station with me.

It's okay.

I'll take your leave.

You came home for the first time. You must eat something.

I'll come for dinner some other day. Dad must be waiting.

Okay, son.

I'll take your leave then. - Okay, son.

If you don't want to have a bath, sprinkle holy water on your head.

People use holy water to clarify something unchaste.

It is not used to humiliate human being.

If you want to sprinkle holy water, do it with yourself.

What now? Are you going to bring Haroon and Siraj into our kitchen?

You haven't met Siraj, yet.

If you meet him... - Wait! I don't like exaggeration.

Go to your father for that.

No, I won't.

What's wrong with you? Mou came to invite you.

Why won't you go there?

I went to their house for the first time. But she ignored me.

She didn't even ask me to take a seat.

So, you're upset?

Okay, I'll ask Mou to apologise to you.

Will you go then? - I will go there.

She came here to invite me for her program.

Her mother got really upset because she came to your place.

Why? - I don't know.

Her mother can't tolerate Muslims.

She gets really upset whenever you talk about Muslims.

Do you think I shouldn't go there?

You should go. I don't think her mother will go there.

Why wouldn't she go?

You didn't leave us as special.

No matter where I sit, I'll find a Muslim alongside me.

That's your only problem? What have the Muslims done to you?

It doesn't matter. I can't tolerate them.

You don't need to go.

When does the programme start? - At 6 pm.

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"All of us will live together in harmony."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"We all live under the same sky."

"Why should we fight over religion and caste then?"

"Why should we fight against each other?"

"Why should we fight against each other then?"

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"We all live under the same sky."

"Why should we fight over religion and caste then?"

"We will always be together."

"We'll have the journey of life together."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"No matter what religion we belong to.."

"..all of us have the blood of the same colour."

"Why should we discriminate among ourselves.."

"..when the blood in our veins is the same?"

"The blood in our veins is the same."

"The blood in our veins is the same."

"No matter what religion we belong to we have the blood of the same colour."

"Why should we discriminate when the blood our veins is the same?"

"We are one and the same."

"We are one and the same, we just have different appearances."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"All of us will live together in harmony."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

"Religion shouldn't bother us when we live in the same country."

May I come in? - Please come in.

Did you like my performance?

You were amazing. - Thank you.

She didn't just dance, she made you dance to her tunes, too.

I wanted to tell that to her. But you beat me to it.

From now on, I will have to work more.

I will have a lot of extra job.

Why? - From now on, I will have to pass your messages to each other.

I will have to carry your letters to each other.

Whose letter is that?

Dad is very ill. He has asked me to go there as soon as I get the letter.

What are you waiting for then? Pack your bags.

I will drop you at the bus stand on my way to work.

What if I have to stay there?

Then stay there. - Should I take Mou and Raju along?

No, why should they bunk school? I am staying here.

Let's go to the bookshop after school. I have to buy a book.

What book do you need now? - A cook book.

You aren't going to get married yet.

Why do you need to learn cooking now?

I will have to cook for a few days because mom has gone to uncle's house.

What will you cook? - Whatever you want to eat.

Will you cook whatever I ask? - Yes.

Mutton curry, 'pulao', 'biryani' or 'murg musallam'!

You seem to be reciting all the dishes in this book.

Now tell me what you will eat.

How can you eat boiled potatoes and rice every day?

Should I tell you the truth?

I have no wish to eat food ever since they've left.

Haven't I asked you not to get upset over your children?

We are here for you.

You have to come to cross fences to come to me.

What if your mother increases the height of the fences?

No matter what she does I will break..

..all the boundaries to come to you.

I live with my dad and you are my father.

Now tell me what you want to eat.

What will you eat?

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

"Will you have fish along with all these or separately?"

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

"You may try leafy vegetables along with fish."

"Or you may try different varieties of fish."

"You may try eat leafy vegetables along with fish."

"Or you may try different varieties of fish."

"You may even try dried fish. I can cook it for you."

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

"Will you have prawns or 'ilish'?"

"I will make the dishes very spicy."

"Will you have prawns or 'ilish'?"

"I will make the dishes very spicy."

"Now it's time to go to my husband's house."

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

"Will you have fish along with all these or separately?"

"What will you eat? Will it be chicken, mutton or mix vegetables?"

You know, dad, Mou cooked chicken for uncle Siraj today.

We had it, too.

Your mom got so upset the other day.

You still went to meet him!

If you don't want, we won't go.

I'm saying this because your mom doesn't like it.

You know, dad, I feel really bad when I look at uncle Siraj.

He is so happy to be with Raju and me. He loves us a lot.

He treats us like his children Amina and Munna.

I understand that.

What if your mother finds out? - She won't.

I'll meet him on my way back from the school.

I don't want any problem due to this.

Where are you going with a gun early in the morning?

The trigger is loose. I am taking it to the city for repair.

What will you do with that gun? It is of no use.

You never know when it will come handy. Bye.

Why hasn't Rama come?

I don't know why she didn't come. I'll meet her on my way back.

Look! It's that girl.

She was dancing on the boat.

She is coming this way, alone.

Let's ask her to dance with us.

Please dance a little.

Don't irritate me. Move from my way.

Dance with us. - Let me go. - Please dance with us.

Move from my way. - Dance with us.

Please dance with us.

This time, I hit you with the butt of the gun.

If you touch her again, I won't care about anything.

I will shoot you.

Scoundrels! - Let's go.

Ma'am, I've brought milk.

I can't hear your mother. Isn't she home?

No, she has gone to her parents' house.

I have a bottle gourd plant. I have the leaves of that plant.

You eat bottle gourd leaves, don't you? - Yes, we do.

Let me know how it tastes. - Okay.

Raju, come in for a second.

Come in.

Sit here.

I've made sweets for you and your sister. Have it.

It's delicious. - Have some more.

Eat as many as you want.

Here, have it.

Yes, have them.

Eat them.

Eat as many as you like to.

Have them.

Raju, will Mou go to school today?

If mom comes home before 10, Mou will be able to go to school.

Otherwise, she will have to cook.

How is grandpa?

He is much better now.

Did your dad bring bottle gourd leaves? Great.

I wanted to have bottle gourd leaves with chickpeas.

Carry on.

Dad didn't bring these.

Where did you get them?

You can't bear to see him..

..but uncle Haroon knew what you wanted and gave these.

He has a creeper in his house. - Haroon gave it..

..and you are cooking it in our house!

What's wrong with food? - Shut up!

You never know where the plant grew in that Muslim man's house.

Give it to me!

Just because I wasn't at home for 2 days..

..you and your daughter left no stone unturned to befoul the house.

What's the problem? - Don't you know?

Why did you let her cook the vegetables brought by Haroon?

He brought it for us. - That doesn't mean we'll have to eat it.

Your daughter is no less!

She took the vegetable to the kitchen and started chopping it.

You have holy water. Sprinkle it on your cutters.

Otherwise, I have an idea. Give me the cutter when I go to work.

I will dip it into river Ganga on my way.

Why just the cutter? If you can, dip yourself and your daughter into Ganga.

Hello. - Hello.

What had happened to you?

I don't know what the problem was.

Mom is back. I am going to school, uncle Siraj.

Will you come in for a minute?

Why? - Please come in. I need something.

Wait here. I'll be right back.

I made sweets for you.

I fed some to Raju.

These are for you.

Why did you have to work so hard for us?

You won't understand..

..how nice I feel after feeding you.

C'mon, have them.

Eat them.

Eat all of them.

You ate at a Muslim man's house!

Why? Did I go against my religion?

If Pradeep finds out, he will be really upset.

It is silly.

Pradeep goes to Kolkata and eats at hotels.

Has he ever gone to the kitchen of the restaurant..

..to find out if a Hindu or a Muslim cooked the mutton 'biryani'?

That's unknown. - So, it's wrong to know what you are eating.

But it isn't wrong if you don't know. - I must say.

You are really stubborn. You never listen to others.

I can't tolerate if anyone says anything against uncle Siraj.

Okay. I won't say anything to you.

Pradeep will deal with this.

Ma'am, I've brought milk.

Mou get the milk.

Why are you so quiet today, uncle Haroon?

You didn't ask how the vegetable you gave me tasted.

Should I ask that cow how it tasted?

Which cow? - Yesterday, on my way back home, I saw..

..that a cow was..

..eating the vegetable I gave you near your door.

I was really upset when I saw that first.

Later, I realised that it was good.

The cow was happy to eat that vegetable..

..but you wouldn't have been.

You know, I am like a cow.

I have grown so old, but I still can't judge..

..who loves me and who hates me.

Where are you going? - Come with me.

Uncle Haroon, please listen.

What's the matter, dear?

What brings you here?

What's the matter?

I have come to apologise to you on my mother's behalf.

Why are you saying so?

Why should you apologise to a poor dairyman like me?

I don't discriminate between people on the basis of wealth.

Mom couldn't value your love.

I'm really sorry for that.

I'll take your leave. - Will you wait for a while?

I have guava.

Will you have one?

I will. Get one. - Okay.

I'm warning you. I won't eat a guava given by that Muslim man.

Great! I'll have two.

Here, you have this and you have... - No, she doesn't like guava.

It makes her feel queasy. I'll have it.

It's so tasty. I'll take your leave now. Let's go.

You have fever. Why are you getting up? Lie down.

It's time for Raju to go to school.

I'll stand at the window to look at him.

Today is Sunday. He won't go to school.

When you go to Mou's house..

..don't tell her anything about my illness.

Uncle Siraj has fever? - He doesn't have mild fever.

He can't get up from bed.

Couldn't you cook anything for him?

I don't have much time.

As soon as I finish work here, I'll have to go to another house.

Today is Sunday. I don't have to go to school.

Mom won't let me go out.

You know what to do.

I don't think Siraj will have anything to eat today.

Dad, tell me. Please talk to me.

Tell me.

Lata told me that Siraj has high fever.

He can't get up from the bed. - What do I need to do?

I need to go there.

If I don't feed him anything, he won't be able to eat anything all day.

I understand.

But how will you go? Your mom won't let you go out.

Why would I go alone? I will go with you.

Me?

Please tell mom that we are going to buy a book.

I may do that. But you will go to Siraj's house.

What will I do all this while?

You will also come with me.

No.

You want to spend time with your uncle.

I don't want to disturb you.

Then you can wait at the tea shop opposite uncle Siraj's house.

Stay there.

Okay. - Change your clothes immediately.

I'll change my sari and join you.

Are you going somewhere?

Come here.

What's the matter?

Mou told me that she has to buy a book.

I had a feeling that she is making an excuse for going to meet Siraj.

I told her that I would go with her.

Great! Now you are being smart.

I am smart. I just never felt the need to express that.

Today, I felt the need, so I am being smart.

Your daughter has grown up. You Ned to make smart decisions now.

What are you doing?

Dad, you aren't ready yet? - You are caught.

No matter where you go now, your dad will go along with you.

Why did you stop?

You never know if Siraj has barley at home.

Let's take some for him.

Give me 100 gm barley.

Who is it? - It's Amina.

Believe me.

I had a feeling that you'd come.

You are not feeling well. I had to come.

Today is Sunday.

How did you leave the house?

I asked my dad to help. He brought me here.

Where is your dad?

C'mon, have it.

What are you looking at?

I am looking at the person taking care of me.

Are you my daughter..

..or my mother? - Now have it.

Rama told me that you went to Siraj's house to feed him.

What is the problem? Had I not gone there, he would've starved all day.

Mou, I've told you in the past and I'm warning you again.

If my father gets to know that you went to a Muslim man's kitchen..

..he will... - Why did you stop? Tell me.

What will be the problem? Dad won't give his consent on our marriage.

Don't tell your father.

As her mother, I promise you..

..that she won't go to Siraj's house again.

How does it matter if you promise anything?

I will go to uncle Siraj's house. - Didn't you hear about his dad?

If his father doesn't give consent because I meet uncle Siraj, so be it.

For the sake of a Muslim man...

Mom, I beg of you..

..don't call him a Muslim man.

Uncle Siraj is like a father to me.

Shut up! Don't say that!

You may go home, son.

Let his father come back home.

It's no use telling him.

Last Sunday, they made the excuse of buying a book..

..and he took Mou to Siraj's house.

What are you saying?

The person you want to seek help from, is helping her.

Is he telling the truth?

Did your father take you there?

Yes, I did. What's wrong with that?

You took your daughter to a Muslim man's house!

Aren't you ashamed? - Yes, I am ashamed.

I am ashamed of the language you use.

What did you say?

If I am Mou's dad, Siraj is also like a father to Mou.

If Mou wants to meet him, I will take her there.

I will do that every time.

That means, I have no say in the family matters.

If you can't appreciate love, what else do you expect?

Okay. I will deal with this.

Where are you going?

I am taking your daughter to her other father.

'C A T, cat. D O G, dog.

C'mon, get up.

Where are you taking me to? - Your uncle Siraj's house.

I'll take you there. - Let me go!

Why should I? C'mon. - Let me go!

I will kill you today. - You're hurting me. Let me go.

I will kill you! - Let me go!

C'mon, I will take you to your father's house.

Let me go. - You don't need to come back home.

I don't like it. Let me go! - Come on. Let's go.

Let me go, mom! - I am not your mother.

What are you doing? Let me go! - You won't understand my pain.

Stay there all your life. You don't need to come back.

I don't know you.

I am Mou's mother. - Please be seated.

I haven't come here to relax.

I want to discuss something with you.

Tell me. - I heard that your daughter was burnt alive.

Yes. - You haven't seen..

..your daughter dying.

No. - Today, you will see how your daughter died.

What are you doing?

Why are you throwing fuel on her? What are you doing?

What is going on? - Move away!

What are you doing? Are you out of your mind?

I am not out of my mind.

You want to kill her slowly.

So, I am doing that in one shot.

I want to kill her! - Obviously.

Don't you know that her marriage is fixed?

Her suitor and his father don't want her to come here.

Whether they like it or not..

..I will come here.

No, you won't.

I won't? - No.

For a child, no one in this world can be greater than parents.

You should listen to your parents.

No, I won't. I will come here.

I told you. You won't come here. - Promise me..

..that you won't let her come to this house.

I take a vow..

..that I won't even look at her in future.

Uncle Siraj, what are you saying?

Why did you say that, uncle Siraj?

Please don't take such a vow.

Please don't.

Please don't take such a vow.

You are such a fool.

Even if I don't let you come here..

..no one can separate us.

You are in my heart..

..and you will always be.

What is the use of that, uncle?

When you will be alone during your illness..

..will I be able to cook something for you to eat?

Will I be able to caress you, so that you feel better?

If I don't come here, who will take care of you?

I've managed fine all this while.

God will take care of me.

C'mon!

My blessings are with you.

God will bless you.

Mou, your sari is drenched in kerosene oil.

Please change it.

Kerosene oil?

Yes, mom was going to burn her alive at uncle Siraj's house.

You shouldn't have done that.

I did the right thing.

I've ruined that unhealthy bond.

Now I'll have to stop Raju from going there.

Uncle Siraj, why is your window closed?

Open the window!

What are you doing? Please open the window!

I'm getting late for school.

Please open the window!

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj, please open the window.

Uncle Siraj! Please open the window.

Can't you hear me? Why have you closed the window?

Open the window once.

Uncle Siraj, please open the window.

Uncle Siraj!

I'm getting late for school.

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj, please open the door.

Uncle Siraj! No!

God bless him.

Won't you play today? C'mon!

No, I don't feel like playing. You may continue.

Come here. Why are you sitting here alone?

C'mon! - I told you that I wouldn't play.

Why won't you play? - I don't want to. You may go.

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj!

Raju!

I kept calling out to you. Why didn't you open the door?

No.

I will come here every day to meet you.

You don't come to my house. - Go to Mou's school. You may meet her, too.

What kind of a man are you?

Didn't you feel ashamed to complain to my mom?

I did this for your benefit.

Stop it! I know what you've done.

A lonely man had found happiness..

..after he met Raju and me.

You snatched it from him!

How is uncle Siraj, Lata?

Ever since your mom scolded him..

..he just cries all day.

Doesn't he ask about me?

He asked me when you were getting married.

Shouldn't we discuss other things before we fix a date?

What do you mean?

What about gifts and dowry?

Gifts and dowry?

Pradeep is our only son.

He has chosen her and we won't object to that.

But we need to know..

..what the wedding gifts would be.

You know everything about his job.

You know his salary, too.

It's no use discussing all that.

I want to know what you're giving Pradeep..

..and your daughter.

Besides, how much cash have you decided to give me?

But Pradeep had told Mou..

..that you'd accept anything we offer.

Men often say such nonsense when they are in love.

They don't think about the future.

Okay, you tell us what we need to give you.

I don't want a lot of things. A TV, A video player..

..a low quality one will do.

A cupboard, a fridge, a dressing table..

..and a double bed will also be required.

Besides, you may give me cash..

Listen. It's no use telling us..

..how much you want as cash.

You just read me a list and we can provide you with a bed..

..and a cupboard. That's all.

What about the rest? - Forgive me.

I can't give you anything else.

Why are you giving up already?

Take your time and think about it.

All I can think about is..

..that the wedding won't take place.

The wedding isn't taking place! - No.

Why was the wedding called off?

The suitor's father wanted cash money, jewellery, fridge, TV and much more.

Mou's dad can't give any of it.

That man loved Mou.

Why did his father ask for all that?

How would I know why he asked for all that?

Strange! You want to marry me. Who else will answer me?

No, I... - You had created a scene in front of my mom..

..because I used to visit uncle Siraj.

Couldn't you tell your father that asking for dowry is a crime?

No gentleman asks for a dowry for his son's marriage.

Only beggars do that.

Okay. I'll talk to my dad tonight.

I will convince my dad by tonight..

..and send him to your house tomorrow.

Let's go.

Please come in. Be seated. - Hello.

Mr. Chowdhury. - Yes, tell me.

Have a seat. - Okay.

Tell me. - We apologise to both of you. - Why?

We asked you to give us dowry without consulting our son.

Why are you saying that?

My son has sent me here.

He said that he wouldn't be able to face you because of us.

You don't have to give anything on the wedding.

Why don't you keep your cup away? You will touch the vessel.

Ma'am, may I ask something?

Hurry up. I have a lot of work.

Mou is getting married after 2 days. I've bought this for her.

You threw away the vegetable grown in my house.

A cow had eaten it. I hope you won't throw this away.

Will Mou wear this?

She will. - Then I'll keep it here.

Haroon, you may take that away.

When Mou will dress up as a bride, give it to her. Okay? - Okay.

What's wrong with you? - Why?

How can he arrive in the middle of the wedding and befoul everything?

Keep it here. - Okay.

How strange are you? - He is a poor man.

He must've taken so much trouble to buy that ring for Mou.

You didn't even invite him on her wedding! - Stop it! I don't like it.

My family and relatives will be here on the wedding.

What if they see that a Muslim dairyman... Move away!

Did you give her the ring? - Yes.

I hope you didn't tell them that you sold my bangles to buy it.

Do you think I am crazy? How could I tell them that?

What did Mrs. Chowdhury say when she saw the ring?

She said... She called Mou.

Mou came and asked me to put the ring on her finger.

I did that. - What else did she say?

They asked me to be there on the day of the wedding.

They asked me to have both, lunch and dinner there.

You gave her a ring. What other jewellery are they giving Mou?

They've said that they don't want anything.

They don't want cash money or jewellery.

My daughter will go away.

If only I could see her once...

Who is here? - I am Mou.

Open the door, uncle Siraj. I am Mou.

Uncle Siraj, please open the door. I am Mou.

Uncle, please open the door.

I am here. Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj, please open the door.

I want to greet you for the last time, uncle Siraj.

I will never come back to you.

Uncle Siraj!

Please open the door for once.

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj, please open the door one last time.

Uncle Siraj!

Uncle Siraj, please open the door one last time.

Uncle Siraj, please open the door one last time.

Please open the door one last time.

Please open the door one last time.

Please open the door.

Let's go.

Please ask him to open the door one last time. He will listen to you.

He has taken a vow.

Breaking that vow is considered a sin.

Do you want your uncle to commit a sin for your sake?

C'mon, let's go.

"Fill the void in my heart.."

"..by coming back to me."

"Please come back to me."

"Fill the void in my heart.."

"..by coming back to me."

"Please come back to me."

"I will give you the most beautiful morning flower.

"I hope it doesn't wilt away before I give it to you."

"Fill the void in my heart.."

"..by coming back to me."

"Please come back to me."

"In your absence, my mind acts crazy."

"Even the moon in the sky seems dull without you."

"Tear flows through my eyes continuously."

"I am in bitter pain."

"Tear flows through my eyes continuously. I am in bitter pain."

"My heart calls out to you."

"Please come back to me."

"Fill the void in my heart.."

"..by coming back to me."

"Please come back to me."

"All the stars in the sky.."

"..look for you everywhere."

"O my darling.."

"..my heart is in a storm because of you."

"I will sacrifice everything.."

"..if you come back to me, my mischievous darling."

"If you come back to me, my mischievous darling.."

"..the flowers in the forest.."

"..will bloom again."

"The cloudy sky will brighten up again."

"The cloudy sky will brighten up again."

"Your eyes will brighten up my world."

"Fill the void in my heart.."

"..by coming back to me."

"Please come back to me."

Give me food.

What are you saying? Why do you want lunch here?

Aren't you going to Mou's wedding?

No, I am not feeling well.

No, you should go.

Mrs. Chowdhury asked you to go there in the morning, right?

No, I won't. Mou will leave from here tomorrow.

I will feel bad if I see her now.

You eat bland food all the time.

Go and eat nice food for one day.

Go there. If you don't go there, Mrs. Chowdhury will be really upset.

I told you that I wouldn't go.

Give me whatever you have cooked.

Wait. - Mr. Chowdhury!

Yes. I've brought food for you.

You've brought food!

You knew that he wouldn't go! - Why would he go?

We didn't invite him.

He told me that Mrs. Chowdhury asked him to go.

He lied to you.

He lied to you so that you don't feel bad about..

..rich men like us.

Get a plate and a serving spoon, too.

Get a mat, too. Yes.

Why did you take the trouble for me?

This is the least I could do so that you bless my daughter, Haroon.

You know, Haroon..

..around 200 people will eat in my house today.

All of them will bless Mou.

But my daughter wouldn't be happy if you don't bless her.

Please keep them here.

Haroon, sit here. Please sit down.

Haroon, start eating.

If you keep crying, how will I help you with your make-up?

I haven't met uncle Siraj from a long time.

I don't even know how he is and what he is doing.

Please, Mou, stop crying. Please don't cry anymore.

Please tell my dad that I will touch uncle Siraj's feet and come back.

Keep those pots here and keep the cap there.

Check that out.

Listen! - Yes?

We need a branch of a banyan tree.

Go and get a branch of a banyan tree.

Listen.

Please listen to me.

What's the matter? - Mou is crying profusely.

Please take her to meet Siraj once.

If you ask him, he will open the door.

What are you talking about?

Today is her wedding. How can I take her to a Muslim man's house?

Go away. Don't irritate me.

Why did you stop? Please come in.

Welcome.

Welcome.

Ma'am, please listen to me.

Please wait for a while.

What's the matter?

On this auspicious day, I have good news for you.

Hurry up! He is standing right here.

Your enemy, Sirajuddin Mohammed..

..is going to sell his house and leave from here tomorrow.

That means, the bane of my life is leaving. - Yes.

Who are you calling the bane of your life?

The Muslim man, who lives in that house.

Sirajuddin Mohammed?

Your daughter loves him like a father. - Yes.

You couldn't tolerate him, right?

He is going away from this neighbourhood tomorrow.

The bane of your life!

Listen, I had promised Sirajuddin Mohammed...

Do you know him?

I didn't know him earlier.

The day I came to your house to fix the date of the wedding..

..Sirajuddin came to my house the previous day.

I was having tea then.

'Sir. - Yes?'

'A Muslim gentleman is here to meet you.'

'A Muslim man! - He told me that his name is Sirajuddin Mohammed.'

'Sirajuddin Mohammed!'

'I think, I've heard that name. - What should I tell him?'

'Send him in.'

'Hello, sir.'

'Why have you come here?'

'I am here to talk to you regarding Mou's marriage.'

'Why would I discuss Mou's marriage with you?'

'I have spoken to Mou's dad already.'

'You spoke to her dad. Won't you talk to her father.'

'Father? - Yes, sir.'

'Many years ago, my daughter died in a fire.'

'Suddenly, God sent Mou to me.'

'When I met her, I felt as if I had found my daughter Amina back.'

'I've heard that Mou's mother doesn't let you go to your house anymore.'

'Do you know what I've demanded for the wedding? - Yes, I have.'

'You asked for so many things, why didn't you demand a car too?'

'How dare you!'

'You are standing in my house, yet mocking me!'

'Oh God! What are you saying?'

'You are a gentleman. How can I mock you?'

'I'm telling the truth. I want to gift you a car on Mou's wedding.'

'Will you gift a car? - Yes, I will.'

'Had my daughter been alive, I would gift a car at her wedding.'

'Okay, you will give me a car.'

'What about the rest? A TV, a video cassette player..'

'..a fridge, jewellery and cash money. What about all that?'

'I will give you everything. Come here. Have a seat.'

'I have more.'

'These two earrings will suit Mou a lot.'

'I have more.'

'I have some more.'

'I have more.'

'These are earrings, too.'

'I had kept these in the locker of a bank for my daughter.'

'Mou is the only one, who can wear these.'

'Here is your cash..'

'..and money to buy a car.'

'I have more.'

'I have my property documents with me.'

'After Mou's wedding, I will leave from here.'

'You may sell the house.'

'Strange!'

'You are giving away everything for someone else's daughter!'

'How can you say that?'

'She calls me father.'

'She has cooked for me so many times.'

'Once, I had high fever.'

'She ran away from her home to come and feed me.'

'How can you say she is someone else's daughter?'

'I hope you won't object in the wedding now.'

'I have.'

'I gave you everything you wanted. Yet...'

'Please take those things away.'

'I am a Hindu man, I won't lose to a Muslim man.'

'I will get my son married without dowry.'

'This is not about winning and losing.'

'I don't know how much my daughter suffered before she died.'

'I couldn't do anything for her as her father.'

'I want to do something for this girl. Please don't refuse.'

'Please don't.'

'Okay, I will go to meet Mou's mother and tell her about you.'

'I'm sure she will let you meet Mou then.'

'No, sir. I've taken a vow.'

'I won't let Mou come into my house.'

That's why, I want to sell that house.'

'If Mou can't come to that house..'

'..how would I live there.'

'Siraj...'

'Please promise me something.'

'Please don't tell Mou's family what I gave you.'

'Tell them..'

'..that your son wanted to marry her, so you gave up.'

I had promised him..

..that I won't tell you that he has given me everything..

..for your daughter's wedding.

But the way you insulted such a great man..

..I couldn't keep my promise.

Why are you standing outside? Please come in.

Please take him inside. I'll be right back.

Where are you going?

Let's go inside.

You are back again!

Didn't I ask you not to come back?

Why are you troubling me?

I am not Mou. I am Mou's mother.

Please open the door once.

Why have you come here again?

I haven't done anything else.

I haven't let her enter my house again.

I have kept my doors and windows shut down.

I don't even want to hear the music of her wedding.

Please don't embarrass me anymore.

I am here to take you with me.

Where will you take me? - Your daughter is getting married.

Won't you go there? - No.

You sacrificed everything for her marriage.

Won't you come and bless her?

What are you talking about?

If you had asked me to sacrifice my life for Mou's sake..

..I would've sacrificed that, too.

Mou can't stop crying.

Please come with me once. - I have taken a vow.

I won't be able to go.

So, you won't go. - No.

If you believe in Allah..

..I believe in God.

If you took a vow with Allah as your witness..

..I take a vow with God as my witness.

If you don't attend the wedding, I won't either.

If that ruins my daughter's wedding, so be it.

Place her here.

Are you going to give away the bride? Please come here.

Come here, Siraj. Please come with me.

Please move from our way. Ma'am, please move. C'mon.

Priest, he will give away the bride.

Will he?

Yes, he will give away the bride.

He is my daughter's adopted father.

Siraj, please come here. - Please go there.

Please move from the way.

Siraj, please come here. Sit here.

There is a problem. I'm conducting a Hindu marriage.

If a Muslim man gives away the bride, what will I chant?

"Glory to Lord Krishna. - Allah is great!"

"Glory to Lord Rama. - Allah is great!"

"Glory to Lord Krishna. - Allah is great!"

"Glory to Lord Rama. - Allah is great!"

Priest, you don't need to chant anything.

We can hear holy chants all over the place.

This is the sound of a great union between Hindus and Muslims.

Siraj, give away your daughter to her groom.

Yes, Siraj. Do it.

Here.

"Glory to Lord Krishna. - Allah is great!"

BIKE UNCHAINED 2 Gameplay #3 - Mountain Biking Game for Android & iOS - Duration: 13:08.

Hello everyone to Big Paw Gaming!

This is the 3rd part of the gameplay for Bike Unchained 2 game!

If you are into mountain biking, I believe you will quite like the game since it

contains a low of licensed products as well as the famous athletes from mountain biking sport.

In today episode, I have tried new gameplays: performing tricks and

real competetive racing against real players.

First time I was doing the tricks, I didn't figure it out what I was doing, but slowly I picked it up.

Not too hard, but the tutorial didn't explain it clearly.

You see a meter above you and your role is to release your finger while the meter is at the perfect spot

to perform tricks that you choose in advance.

For competetive biking, I was doing quite well (2nd place) till I crashed it at the last race.

Happens, and I'll try better again.

I hope you like the video and watch it to the end.

If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below.

Links to the game are below.

If you want to watch my review of the game, check the first game from this playlist.
