MACIEK: hi my name is Maciek and I work on Google Web Designer
Today I'm going to show you how to publish creatives to Display & Video 360
First I'm going to select the creative that I want to publish
You can launch the Publish dialog
by clicking the Publish button in the upper right corner of the app
You can also go to the File menu and click Publish
Here you can configure your publish creative
For this demo I'm going to leave most of these options alone
You will need to designate a Partner Advertiser and creative name
Here you can search either by ID or by the Partner name
If you don't see the partner or advertiser you want
contact your administrator
After you've chosen a Partner Advertiser and creative name
you can publish your creative to Display & Video 360
just click the Publish button
a dialog will appear and will resolve once the creative has been uploaded
once your creative has been uploaded
you can see it in Display & Video 360 under the Creatives tab
Now that your creative has been published
a link icon will appear in the Publish menu
This means that your creative is linked to a creative in Display & Video 360
The next time that you open the Publish dialog
the partner advertiser and creative name will all be filled out for you
If you wish to publish to a different partner advertiser
or under a different creative name
click the link icon in the Publish menu
Thank you for watching!

Ruler Guides Overview - Google Web Designer - Duration: 4:20.
JOEY: Hi, I'm Joey from the Google Web Designer team
and I'm here to talk about ruler guides
So the first thing about ruler guides is that
you need to have rulers enabled to use them
So rulers are enabled by default
you can see them at the top and left of the document
If you happen to have yours disabled
go into the View menu
and make sure that this rulers item is checked
And with rulers enabled you can create ruler guides
by simply clicking the ruler and dragging the guide into the stage
Once on the stage you can reposition a ruler guide
by hovering over it
you see the cursor will update to the reposition icon
and then you can drag the ruler guide to a new location
In order to reposition a ruler guide
you do need to have the selection tool enabled
so if we were to switch to say the Tag tool
you notice that upon hovering over the guide
we don't get the reposition cursor
So switching back to the Selection tool
let's add some guides to this document
You can hold the SHIFT key
to snap the guide to the nearest tick mark over here
so 20 30 why don't we place this one at 20
and we'll also add vertical ruler guides at positions 50 and 250
You can delete ruler guides by clicking and dragging them to the side
so if we want to delete this vertical guide
we simply click and drag it outside the stage
Let's do the same for this horizontal guide
All ruler guide operations can be undone and redone
So if we go to Edit Undo Edit Undo
we can undo those two deletions
Once you have the guides in the desired positions
you can lock them in place by going to
View, Guides, Lock guides
Now even with the Selection tool enabled
hovering over the guides does not show the reposition icon
and we don't need to
worry about accidentally interacting with the guides
Let's add an element to our document
so we're adding an image tag
notice that as the cursor approaches the ruler guide it snaps to it
Similar behavior occurs if you're using the Selection tool
and moving an element it will snap to either guide
if it becomes close to it
and similarly will snap to their intersection
The same thing goes if you are resizing an element
notice it snaps to the guide
If you'd like to disable this behavior you can go to View Snap to
and disable guide snapping
Now if I want to make it slightly wider than the guide
notice it is not snapping
but for this example
I would actually like it to snap precisely to the guide
If you do not want to see the guides in your document
you can toggle their visibility by going to View Guides Show guides
similarly you can turn it back on
View Guides Show guides
If you want to delete all of the guides in your document at once
you can do that in the exact same place
View Guides Clear guides
In this case we actually want the guides back
so we will go to Edit Undo
And you should know that ruler guides are saved with the document
So if you do save and close reopen the document
your ruler guides will still be there
but they are design aids visible at author time only
so they will not be included in your final published document
Finally if you don't like this blue color
that is the default for ruler guides
you can change that by going to Edit Preferences Design View
you might need to scroll down to see it
but this item here the guide's color
you can set it to whatever you like
so let's go with a red
click Save and we have these now beautiful red ruler guides
And that's it!
Thank you for listening to my intro on ruler guides in Google Web Designer
Thanks for watching
Have a good day!

Text Fitting - Google Web Designer - Duration: 4:20.
SHUO: Hello, this is Shuo from Google Web Designer
Today I'm going to talk about a feature in the Google Web Designer called text fitting
Text fitting has been used to fit text inside its container
Let's take a look at an example
Here on stage I have a very long text that runs out of its container
If I select the text
the Text fitting section will be shown in the Text panel
There are two ways to fit the text
The first way is to reduce text size to fit container
as soon as the check box is checked
the font size of the text will be automatically reduced
to fit it within the container
Here it shows the fitted size is 17 pixel
while the Text panel shows that the original font size is 30
There is another field called minimum size
which can be used to specify the smallest font size that can be reduced to
so here because the smallest font size it can be reduced to is 10 pixel
the text can be fitted to the size of 17
If I change the minimum size to be 20
the fitted size can only go down to 20 pixel
even though it still overflows
If I uncheck the checkbox
the original font size is recovered
The second way to fit a text is to truncate to fit container
When I enable truncation
the part that overflows will be removed
and the text will be truncated
when I uncheck the checkbox the original text content is recovered
If I enable both size reduction and truncation
we'll first reduce the font size
and will only truncate the text
if it doesn't fit at the smallest font size
When text fitting is enabled
we can still edit the text
To edit the text we need to first select the Text tool
As soon as you click inside the text element to start editing
we'll temporarily disable text fitting so you can edit full content
When the editing is done you can click anywhere outside the text element
and the text fitting will be automatically re-applied
Text fitting is especially useful in dynamic ads and responsive ads
Let's take a look at example of dynamic ads
Here on stage I have a text element
whose text content is bound to a field in a sample data
When I switch between no feed and the sample data
the content of the text will be dynamically changed
As a result the text content might overflow
But if I have text fitting enabled on the text block
you can see when I switch between no feed and sample data
the font size of the text will be automatically adjusted
to make sure it fits within the container
Text fitting is also useful in responsive ads
Here I have a responsive ad
and a text element that will resize when the viewport resizes
if I don't have text fitting enabled
you can see when the viewport resizes
the text element also resizes
and there's a chance that the text will run out of the container
but if I have text fitting enabled
you can see the font size of the text is automatically adjusted
when the text element resizes
That's it
Thanks for watching

Authoring Dynamic Sample Data - Google Web Designer - Duration: 7:17.
LUCAS: My name is Lucas
and I'm an engineer on Google Web Designer
In this video I'll show how to create dynamic ads
Dynamic ads include content
that is pulled from a data feed when the ad is served
This allows the ad to be customized to the person viewing it
I'm starting with a simple ad that contains two images and a headline
and I'll use the feed to set the source for each image
the headline text and the headline color
I start by going to the Dynamic panel
and in the Bindings tab I press this plus button
I first have to tell Google Web Designer
what fields are in the feed
This is also called the feeds schema
The set of schema that are available
depends upon the ad environment
This ad is for Display & Video 360
which includes both predefined standard schemas and custom schemas
that you can create using Studio
For now I'll use a standard schema
I'm now ready to add bindings
For each binding I specify an element
a property on that element
and a field in the feed that is providing a value for that property
I'll start with the text
I choose the text element
I select its content
and then I see a list of all the fields in the feed
and I pick this one
I'll add another binding also to the text element
but this time I will set its color
and then I'm ready to move on to the images
The feed contains a list of products
and for each product there's information like a description
and image URL and a price
I want the image URL so I select this field
and then I specify the index of the entry I want to use
I want the first entry so I leave the index at 0
It may seem surprising that the index of the first entry is 0
instead of 1 but that's just the convention for this kind of data
Finally I add a binding for the source of the second image
once again I select the image URL
but this time I increase the index by a 1
to use the next entry in the list
Now I see all my bindings in the Bindings panel
but it's still not clear that it's worked correctly
because on stage I just see the default document content
to get a better preview experience
I switch to the Sample Data tab
For every schema we provide a set of default sample data
that can be used for preview
if I select that data I see it rendered on stage
This data is only for preview it is not saved with the ad when it's published
and in a separate video we show you how to build the real feeds
that you use when your ad is served
This default is only a starting point
you probably want to customize the sample data for the ad you're building
and one way to do that is through this editor
Here for example I will set different headline text
In this editor you can also add entries to lists
in this case a new product
and you can delete or copy existing entries
if I save my changes I see them on stage
I can also edit sample data directly on stage
for example here I'll use the text tool to change the headline
and I can also swap in different image assets
If I switch back to the default document
I see that it is unchanged
You can use multiple data sets when previewing your ad
If you have a data set already somewhere in a file
you can import that file into Google Web Designer
You can also create a new empty data set and build it up from scratch
and finally you can copy and paste existing data sets which I'll do now
First I'll rename it and then I'll select duplicate from the context menu
and then I'll swap in a different image
I'll do the same thing at this time I will change the color of the text
and I'll also change the content
You'll notice that when I commit the change
the text is fit to its container
that's because by default all bound text has text fitting applied to it
If you don't want this behavior you can turn it off in the text panel
So I now have an ad that has four bindings
and three sample data sets and if I preview the ad in a browser
I can see all the variations in one place
If you're building more than one
ad that uses the same kind of data
you may want to share sample data between these ads
which you can do through our sample data library
To add data to the library
in the right-click menu choose add to library
I'll now open up another ad
that has a different structure but uses the same kind of data
So here is an ad that contains a simple animation
In this sample data tab I'll use this button
to open up the Library
I see that sample data set that I had just imported
and I can now add it to this document and use it here for preview
I want to finish up by talking about a more advanced use case
where we apply a transformation to the feed data before it's used
here I have a swipe gallery
and I wanted to show an image for each product in the feed
As usual I start by selecting a schema
and then I choose the swipe gallery and its images property
and now I want to get the image URL for each product
I start by selecting the Product list itself
and then I go to the Filters tab in this editor
this provides a set of simple transformations that you can apply to the feed data
here I pick one called pluck and join
which selects a field from each entry in the list
and joins them together using commas
if I now look at the swipe gallery in the
property inspector while I'm previewing sample data
I can see that it has a list of all of these images
and if I preview it in a browser
I see that it works like we expect
You can apply more than one filter to a binding
for this binding for example
let's say that I want to show at most three images
I change that first filter so it truncates the list
if it has more than three entries
and then I add a new filter that once again applies pluck and join
to this shortened list
and if I preview it in the browser
again it works as expected
That concludes this tour of authoring dynamic data in Google Web Designer
Thank you for watching

Advanced Preview Configuration - Google Web Designer - Duration: 4:05.
NATALIE: Hi, this is Natalie.
I'm an engineer on the Google Web Designer team
and in this video I'd like to show you the new and improved in-browser preview feature
Like before you can launch preview
by clicking the preview button in the top right corner
and the preview page will launch in the browser that you've selected
You'll see there's a control bar at the top
which gives you various settings for customizing preview
including choosing one of several preview modes
And the mode we're looking at right now is the all sizes mode
which is like a contact sheet view
This mode is available if your ad is responsive
And in this mode you can see your document
across many different sizes at once
and you can customize the sizes which are shown
by using the size selector menu
The drop-down shows all the responsive sizes
which are supported by the ad environment
When you launch preview in Google Web Designer
you can also select Standard instead of Advanced
under the responsive viewport options
to use a shorter list consisting of only the environment's most common sizes
If your ad also has dynamic bindings and sample data
which this document also has
you can also choose a single sample data set to apply in this mode
and we'll take a look at some more dynamic preview features later in this video
The reload button on each card lets you restart that particular ad preview
you can also use the reload button in the top right
to reload all displayed preview simultaneously
Note that if you go back to Google Web Designer
and make more edits to your document
your changes will not be automatically picked up
if you've already got a preview page open even if you reload it
so if you make more changes
you need to relaunch preview anew to see them
and then you can close the old preview page
To test your ad's responsive behavior
with some more fine-grained controls
you can switch to the single size mode
using the preview mode selector in the left hand corner
In this mode you can also select custom from the size drop-down
which will give you the ability to freely resize the viewport
to see how your ad behaves
And the rulers will show any media query breakpoints
that you've got in your ad
and you can click within the rulers to quickly set the size
within a range where a particular media query is active
If your ad has dynamic bindings
you'll also have access to the all sample data mode
which is similar to the all sizes mode
but instead of previewing your ad across many different sizes
here you can preview your ad across multiple sample data sets at once
Now let's take a look at an expandable ad
Expandable ads, interstitial ads, as well as plain HTML documents
will all open in this mode which simulates a mobile device frame
and in this mode you can interact with your ad
to see how it behaves in the collapsed and expanded states
and you can change the device using the device selector
or switch from portrait to landscape using the rotate orientation button
And like in the single size view for banner ads that we saw earlier
you can set a custom viewport size
by selecting custom from the device selector
And then you can freely resize your viewport
There's one other mode which is available for these document types
which is the desktop mode
And this mode simulates just a general large desktop size display
You'll see there's no size controls for this preview viewport
it just fills up the available area
but you can resize your browser window to change it
Documents with Parallax components
can be previewed in a special preview mode
which simulates a scrolling web page
that's got enough room for you to test scrolling your ad
completely in and out of the viewport
and test the parallax behavior
otherwise this mode has all the same controls as the mobile mode
And for very simple fixed-size banner ads
with no responsive or dynamic features
the preview page will simply not show any controls
And like before you can preview templates directly from the template gallery
by selecting the template and clicking the Preview button
That's it for this tutorial and thanks for watching

Leaked Emails Show Fox News Feeding Scripts To Trump Officials - Duration: 3:35.
It's no secret that Fox News is in bed with the Trump administration and in fact actually
parts of Fox News are quite literally in bed with the Trump family, but a lot of us didn't
quite realize how deep the connection between Fox News and the Trump administration went
until some leaked emails obtained by the Sierra Club via a Freedom of Information Act request
were released this week and that was leaked.
Emails showed that producers at Fox News, specifically for Fox & Friends, we're actually
working with Trump administration officials and their spokespeople to edit scripts, edit
questions, and basically make sure that any segment these people appeared on was 100 percent
administration friendly.
And they even let the officials direct where the conversation was going to go.
Specifically, the emails obtained by the Sierra Club relate to Scott Pruitt, the former administrator
of the EPA, and they show that the, uh, spokespeople for the EPA, the director's not Pruitt, but
the other directors who were working for him would go back and forth with Fox News producers,
edit scripts, change up questions, get them approved by the officials in the Trump administration
to make sure that these people were walking into friendly territory and that they were
able to say whatever the hell they wanted to say regardless of whether or not it was
true.
For example, Pruitt's people once pitched an idea and then had Pruitt on to talk about
the fact that their EPA is doing so much more for the forgotten communities, uh, that the
Obama administration completely ignored.
First and foremost.
There's no truth to that whatsoever.
But that's what Scott Pruitt and his EPA wanted to push out.
And Fox & Friends was more than happy to oblige.
And then one time Pruitt was actually blind sided by a guest host on Fox & Friends who
did not stick to the Trump administration approved script and started asking Pruitt
about his scandals.
Here's the thing, it's not uncommon to do pre interviews with guests that that's a given
that happens all the time.
But to let a guest come in and edit your script, to let a presidential administration changed
the questions, change the script, put it to their liking.
That is absolutely unheard of.
Fox News, I mean, they're not journalistic in any way whatsoever, but they are very clearly
committing journalistic malpractice here by allowing the administration and their officials
to dictate the terms of interviews.
And this shows you that anytime you see a Fox, uh, uh, excuse me, a White House representative,
a White House official, go on Fox News.
Do not trust a word that they say they knew in advance what they were going to be asked.
They likely approve the script for the interview themselves and they knew exactly where they
wanted to take the conversation.
Fox News has 100 percent become state run media.
And in exchange, they get boosted ratings for having a no, nothing president tweet them
out every day and tell the world how great Fox News truly is.
It is a truly great relationship between those two, but unfortunately, that really great
relationship is actually horrible for everybody else in this country.
If you're not working in the White House or working for Fox News.

Florence, Alabama Mid Century Modern House | Great Estates | Southern Living - Duration: 4:43.
I said I didn't like this room,
but now I'm saying more of it, and I love it.
(upbeat electronic music)
Okay so, we are looking at a lake house,
in Florence, Alabama.
It's on six and half acres, almost 12,000 square feet.
It's got two docks because one is not enough,
two pools, again one not enough, a helipad,
and it's at the low low price of 3.9 million dollars.
What a steal.
What a steal.
Woo, groovy!
It is groovy.
I love it.
Doin pass, and your like (snaps fingers) that's my house.
Is that what you'd do? Yep, that's what...
Finger guns?
Finger guns!
Oh the outdoor pool.
Outdoor pool, because that must mean there's...
You gotta distinguish.
A lot of houses with pools,
you miss out on the backyard for the pool.
And this you get the best of both worlds.
Yeah.
Ten of ten would swim in there.
And there's God's swimming pool.
The lake.
The lake. (laughs)
So pure.
But the lake experience overall, no sharks.
You don't have to clean the boat afterwards.
These people have it made.
Lakes are, I'm a lake person.
Oh my gosh!
Okay, I thought for a second that was the indoor pool.
Oh good, I thought so too.
But I think that's just a design on the floor.
But that looks like party central.
Is that a little kitchen over in the corner?
Maybe a little bar, action.
A little bar, to go with your pool table,
and incredibly scenic views.
It needs some low slung cocktail couches.
It's lush and green.
Yeah, it looks like a courtyard.
Oh, look at that fireplace.
How chic is that?
Oh, that's so fun with the little,
what are those called?
I actually don't know.
Fireballs, great balls of fire.
That's what those are called now.
Flora, fauna and funk.
Our aesthetic.
That's the name of our show now. (laughs)
We're changing it.
Flora, Fauna and Funk.
I mean, I just love all the light,
Me too.
If you can't be outside, then this is the next best thing.
Retro in a wonderful way, I think.
Yes, tell me, lay out your plan for this room.
Well, obviously the bed would go,
where the built in headboard shelving situation is.
I like the lights.
Those are fun, funky.
I love the lights.
Maybe you could put some little chairs
to curl up and read in over by the window.
And that view is, really killer.
Oh my gosh!
Okay, I remember seeing this online.
I love this bathroom!
I know you do, and I feel like that's a hot take in itself.
Aren't most people like,
"Eww pink bathrooms, gross, get away."
Yeah, I feel like I'm just out here alone right now.
I love a really gross retro, a mauve or a light pink,
or a pastel blue, or a pastel green,
any gross color tile, I love it for some reason.
I love this small tile, I think it makes it,
It's an easier...
I get this more.
I gotta be honest,
I'm not loving the inside the tube tile.
I'm a little...
That just look comfortable.
Also it seems, yeah.
Maybe it's just on the sides?
Surely.
I'm just kinda thinking...
And cleaning that, pass.
Look at this funky bedroom.
This is funky fresh.
I don't know, this one is making me a little sad.
I don't know maybe it's cause,
I can't see the window or something. (laughs)
I assume there's a window.
Outlook bleak.
As much as I like a funky wall,
that wall might be a little too funky for me.
If all the walls looked like that,
I'd be into it. (laughs)
Sometimes more is more.
I'm just kinda confused by that wall paneling situation.
I don't love it. I do love the desk.
I feel like I would get lots of reading and writing done.
When you're at the lake?
Well, in my dreams, Betsy, I'd be...
Are you sure you're the one,
who sits there inside and writes poetry,
while everyone else is having a big time on the boat?
Maybe, I have feelings.
Love a wet bar.
Yeah, I love this.
I'd actually probably leave it as is.
Go for it.
Get some retro bar ware, put that in there.
Would that be fun?
Whew, eee.
Yup, this is gonna have to change.
Again, great windows.
Great windows.
Probably would want to swap out...
Everything.
[Katherine] Everything else.
Also, you're at the lake,
really you're gonna be making sandwiches,
throwing them on the boat, getting out of the house.
That's so true, unless you want to sit inside
and write poetry all day.
That's pretty awesome.
You're on this little point. That's amazing!
So green!
I bet it's so quiet.
On a cove.
Heck, if I could have all that,
I wouldn't even care about the kitchen.
I would just leave it.
I would leave those ugly walls.
Heck.
Heck.
Me too.
I mean look at that, that's why you go.
No, it is, yeah.
You're not there for the kitchen
or the weird stuff in the bedroom wall.
Nope, your there to be on the water.
Your there to be on the water, and it's winning at that.
Yup.

Dividends vs Buybacks: Which Should Investors Prefer? - Duration: 2:27.
Jason Moser: "I have a question about the war on cash podcast from November 19th, 2018.
Jason and Matt mentioned that they like the buybacks of Visa, but are OK with small dividends
to fund future growth. I'm confused.
Don't both buybacks and dividends decrease the amount of cash to fund future growth?"
He goes on to say he would personally prefer dividends over buybacks.
That's cash in the pocket.
But on the other hand, increasing dividends generally represents a much stronger commitment
by management in the faith of the business because companies generally do not like to
cut the dividend, and dividends provide a more direct reward to shareholders.
Landon, you make a very good point here.
Regardless of whether it's a dividend or a buyback, the company has to fund that one way or another.
When you have a business like Visa, or MasterCard for that matter, that is as big as they are,
and have very high-margin business models, as they both do, the nice thing about that
type of investment opportunity for investors is that while the growth is going to be there,
the growth will generally be organic, and it'll be tied to general consumer spending.
These are business models that generate a lot of surplus cash.
They have to do something with it.
There's only so much they can reinvest in the business before they start getting a little bit
outside of their circle of competence, and you start seeing some deteriorating returns
on those investments.
So, you reward your shareholders either through a dividend or share repurchases.
I tend to prefer dividends, just because, like you said, Landon, they are cash in the pocket.
But by the same token, these companies do know that material buybacks over the course
of time can play out on the share price.
The fact of the matter is, when you reduce that number of shares outstanding,
that's going to give you a little bit of a different look on the value of those shares.
It should, in theory, make them a little bit more expensive over time.
All in all, we like to see a healthy mix there, and feel like, with Visa and MasterCard,
perhaps the opportunity there is to grow that dividend a little bit more substantially over time.
That's what we'll be hoping that they do.

Parallax Overview - Google Web Designer - Duration: 6:59.
NIVESH: Hi my name is Nivesh and I'm a developer on Google Web Designer.
In this video I'm going to give you an overview
of using the parallax component
to create parallax animations
As I scroll the page up or down
the foreground and background images
move at different speeds creating an illusion of depth
The parallax component relies on the ad publisher's site
to forward the page scroll events to the ad
In response to the scroll events
the parallax component animates the images.
You can find some other examples of parallax animations
in our File, New from template...
in the Parallax for Display & Video 360 category
Here are what these parallax examples look like in the browser
You'll notice that the images move vertically
as well as horizontally as I scroll the page
Now let's create our own parallax animation
Go to File, New
The environment has to be Display & Video 360 for parallax component
To add the parallax component to your project
open the Components panel
and drag the parallax component
from the interaction folder onto the stage
You can configure the parallax component
by going to the properties panel
and clicking on the Images control
or you can double click on the component itself
You start by adding images to your parallax animation
You can add images by dragging files
from your file system onto the stage
or layers panel
Or you can click on the plus button in the layers panel
and add images from the file system
You can reorder the layers by dragging
and dropping them in the layers panel
The order of the layer determines which layers display in front of each other
the higher layers display in front of the lower layers
You can also show and hide the images
by clicking on the thumbnail area
or you can click on the eye icon
to show and hide all the images
Hiding a layer can make it easier to work on another layer
For example I'm going to hide all the layers
except for the product, the text, and this big leaf
The settings dialog has three tabs
Start, End, and Preview
You configure the parallax animation
by positioning each layer where it should appear
at the start and the end of its animation
The start position is when the component first comes into view in a webpage
This part when the component is first coming into view
and the end position is
when the component has just left the viewport
So let's configure in the start position
I'm going to hide the big leaf again and I'm going to move this using
my mouse the product to the center
I can also use arrow keys
and I can hold down the shift key
to move them by 10 pixels at a time
or I can actually directly type into the layer properties panel
And in the end position, to quickly copy the values from the start position
you can click on the match position button here
Let me reposition the big leaf in the start and end position
Now I can hold down the shift key to constrain the movement
as I drag my mouse
and I'm going to move this leaf far away at the end position
And I can turn on show ghost option in the advanced properties
and this will display a translucent image of the other tab
whichever tab you're not currently editing
Ghosts are for your reference and won't show in the preview
or in the published file
Now let's preview
You can scroll up and down
and see how the visible layers behave in the sample mobile device
You can click the start or end tab to continue editing the file
so in this case I'm going to change the easing option to Ease-in-out
and I'm going to fade in the text from 0.3 to 1
and now let's preview that again
You can also set the width and height of the layers
I'm going to change the leaf's width to 250 pixels
And since the aspect ratio is locked
the height updated automatically
Note that the layer remains the
specified size at both the start and the end
That is the sizes will not be animated
When you're satisfied with the component
click Save and you'll return
to the normal Google Web Designer interface
To save time I'm going to go back to the template file
that has all the animation already set up
and we're going to go to the properties panel
and go to the scroll factor section here
This scroll factor property is used for display on Google Web Designer stage only
You can see what the ad would look like with different scroll factors
by updating this value
You can preview your ad in the browser as well
when you preview in browser
the preview page emulates how the ad displays on a web page
with enough content for you to scroll above and below the component
You can see what the parallax animation looks like
in the context of the overall ad
such as with your CTA button and exit actions
Thank you for watching the video

Amazon Pay is Growing Fast – Should PayPal and Apple Pay Be Worried? - Duration: 8:41.
Jason Moser: Let's kick right off here talking about Amazon.
There are a few different points to this discussion we want to get to.
We're talking primarily about Amazon's effort to gain more share in the payments space.
That's through Amazon Pay.
We can couple this discussion also with the fact that according to Adobe Analytics,
Black Friday pulled in a record $6.22 billion in online sales, which was up almost 24% from a year ago.
It was the first day in history to see more than $2 billion in sales stemming from smartphones.
That's where I really want to pick this conversation up here.
Not only are we living in an e-commerce world, we're certainly living in a mobile world, as well.
For a lot of us, Amazon Pay probably isn't top of mind, yet we're reading now that they're
really making efforts to gain share, it seems like initially with companies that are not
necessarily direct competitors, like gas stations or restaurants or what have you.
It does seem like they're trying to take a little bit more of that role in the transaction,
much like we've seen Apple do to date with Apple Pay. But it's also not just Apple.
There are all these payments companies out there, trying to get a little piece of that transaction.
Talk a little bit about your experience with Amazon Pay.
Give us a little bit of your perspective here as to what the endgame is with Amazon.
Matt Frankel: I was on a certain retailer's website.
I can't tell you what I bought, or who I bought it from, because it was an anniversary gift
for my wife, who listens to the show. Moser: Oh, so you really can't.
I was going to say, "You can't, or you won't?" But it's both.
Frankel: I really can't.
It was a small business, something you would see featured on Shark Tank.
It struck me as somewhere that gets most of their sales from Amazon to begin with.
This was directly on their website.
I went to check out, they were having a great Black Friday sale.
I went to their website, selected my products, and went to the checkout.
And there were two buttons. There was a PayPal button and an Amazon Pay button.
I was curious, because I had never seen that on a merchant's website.
Amazon really hasn't pushed it until recently.
So, I clicked Amazon Pay, and it took me right to my Amazon checkout, where I have my Amazon
credit card already set up. It was just like checking out for a normal Amazon purchase.
It took me about two clicks. It was very easy.
I was actually going to use PayPal, and I like this alternative because it lets me keep
all my purchases in one place.
I'd say about 50% of what my wife and I order is already through Amazon.
It lets me organize my purchases into one payment portal.
I actually think PayPal might have something to worry about here.
Moser: That's a good perspective there.
I want to ask you, the initial thing that comes to mind here where I think they may
have a little bit of a challenge, we know that to date, the U.S. consumer isn't necessarily
all that digital-wallet-focused yet.
That's still something that we're in the very nascent stages of, and I think it's going
to take a while for that behavior to really change.
You look at something like Apple Pay, for example, as clever as that is, consumers still
aren't embracing that wholeheartedly.
Whether it's Apple Pay or Google Pay or Amazon Pay, the digital wallet, there's a big opportunity there.
That explains why Amazon is pursuing this.
The one hang-up here I have with Amazon and the process that you just described, it sounds
like there's a little bit more friction in there vs. if I go somewhere, whatever website
it may be, and I have the option to pay with Apple Pay. When it says, "Do you want to use Apple Pay?"
And you can just use your thumbprint to verify the transaction, as opposed to having to go
to another website and verify that purchase.
What I'm getting at here is ultimately, it feels like Apple, and to a degree Google,
have a hardware advantage that Amazon doesn't have to date.
Does that make sense? Frankel: Yes, but here's my perspective on that.
I don't necessarily think this will steal any market share from people who are already
on Apple Pay or PayPal. Both of those are, like you said, very easy portals.
They both have hardware advantages over Amazon.
But there are a lot of people who are not using digital wallets yet who are already
comfortable with Amazon's checkout process.
I don't necessarily think they're going to steal market share or steal existing customers
from any of the other ones, but I do think it gives them an advantage recruiting
new adopters to digital wallets. Moser: Probably, you're right.
We talk about this all the time, this is not a zero-sum game. It's not as if one wins and everybody else loses.
This is a massive opportunity out there. At the end of the day, money is going everywhere.
That's what dictates everything, basically, is money getting from point A to point B.
Pursuing even just a small piece of that pie makes a lot of sense, particularly in Amazon's case,
because really, you have to figure for them, this is a very easy bet to make.
The business certainly isn't hinging on it. At the most, they get a tiny scrape of that transaction.
When Apple Pay is used, Apple gets a very, very tiny scrape of that transaction.
It's not terribly meaningful.
It becomes meaningful if you have a billion people using it on a consistent basis.
And obviously, we're not to that point yet.
But even beyond the financial implications, I would imagine that a company like Amazon,
as smart as they are about using data and doing things with that data, just gleaning
the data from transactions like these would be seen as a reasonable pay-off.
Frankel: Right, and that seems to really be what they're after here.
I've actually read that Amazon is subsidizing the swipe fees for merchants -- not swipe fees,
but whatever the swipe-fee-equivalent of digital wallet fees are.
They're actually subsidizing the fees to get retailers to put the Amazon Pay button on
their website at a lower cost to them.
It's fair to say Amazon's not making money on this, but it's expanding their reach.
Anything that expands Amazon's reach, data-wise, customer-wise, merchant-wise, is good for
the long-term business. Moser: Makes sense to me.
I don't think Amazon's going to ever going to have a hardware advantage at least on the
smartphone side. They tried with the Fire phone.
They were late to the game, tried to do something a little bit different, but there was nothing
terribly compelling to get someone to switch, particularly if you're already used to a certain operating system.
I'm also skeptical when it comes to incorporating things like voice assistant technology into
actually paying for things. With all that said, things change very quickly.
Technology is evolving seemingly on a daily basis.
I'm going to be interested to see where Amazon takes this.
Amazon Pay has been around for a while, they just haven't done much with it.
Perhaps we're entering this stage now where consumers are going to be a bit more open
to adopting digital payments and digital wallets and whatnot.
If that's the case, clearly we can see there's a lot of market share there to pick up.
For Amazon to try to be a part of that makes perfect sense.
Frankel: To be perfectly clear, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Apple Pay all have tremendous growth runways.
PayPal's growth rate could go from 20% to 19%. I'm not saying they're going to really suffer.
To be clear, I still love PayPal on a long-term basis.
Moser: Gotcha!
We want to make sure we respond to the inevitable e-mail we're going to get.
We're not saying, "Short PayPal, long Amazon." You're probably saying go long on both, right?
It's reasonable to just diversify your portfolio, own shares in both companies.
Frankel: Right. Both companies are going to be winners.
I could just see the tweetstorm going off in my head when I was saying that.
Moser: Well, we'll get out in front of it if that does happen.

How to use Google Analytics - Track important behaviors! How to setup events in Analytics - Duration: 4:35.
In this video let's talk about how you can actually set up
events.
Now there are numerous ways to do this in Google Analytics and
we're talking about things like this.
Where you come into your analytics you go to your top
events in the events report which is under your behavior
reports here and you can go through and you can see the
different actions that are coming through the different
categories that are coming through in this case we're
looking at a Contact Us form on that Google Merchandise Store.
So these are all the specific behaviors that are being stored
by your Google Analytics but how do you get that information in
there where there's multiple ways to do that?
One is using Tag Manager.
If you are not using that, definitely beyond the scope of
this video, but Tag Manager is a must use tool for you.
It's amazing.
It gives you as a marketer immense power to be able to
track very specific behaviors things like did they interact
with my video.
Did they play?
Did they watch half my video or 25 percent of my video did they
finish my video?
You could also tracks things like scroll rate or if they
became a lead like so many great things you can do it.
Google Tag Manager and then you tell Tag Manager, hey send an
event to Google Analytics and then Google Analytics will store
it in the events report.
That's it gets there.
There were also plug ins that you can use this for.
So you've got different wordpress plugins that are out
there is a couple of them that you can see here on the screen
but these are plugins that will automatically send events into
your Google Analytics assuming you set them up to do that.
There are ways to manually do this but this is one that I
wouldn't recommend.
While you can manually tag this it requires you to go back into
the code and update it.
If you're a developer and you're used to that, that's great but
it makes it really hard to change later if you want to do
that.
I would instead recommend using Tag Manager absolutely
incredible tool if you're not using it.
That's the way that I would do this and I would also skip the
custom implementation again unless you are at a skill level
that makes a lot of sense for you tag manager probably will
just be the way that you're going to go.
I'd even skip the plugins instead of using the plugins i
would use Google Tag Manager
That's sort of the mechanisms that you would do.
Then you want to think about how you actually create this event
and the way that you do it is you think about in terms of
hierarchy.
It is the little Russian nesting doll.
So first you start with the category.
So in that example we showed we had this contact us as a
category that was showing in the Google Merchandise Store.
Underneath that it was the type of interaction which in that
case they were they on site click.
And then after that it was like okay which type of on click and
they showed phone on site click an email on site click and you
walk through this just real quickly we can see here.
So first I go to my top top level.
So I'm going to go to our top events I'm looking at all of our
top events and I just want to see the categories in this case
so top events are categories.
So this is at the category level.
We go back here's the category level and you go into analytics
to click on the Contact Us.
So now I'm going to basically drill down so I'm just looking
at the next stage case in this case we're coming down to
actions to categorize the action and the action is on site click.
And if I drill down and go further down now I'm at the
event label which you can see here now I'm and the label and
that's where I see email or phone.
So it's levels of information that you get and ultimately you
can associate a value to that as well.
If you would like.
So that's sort of the way that you would structure your events
in Google Analytics.
Finally I want to show you just one other very quick way to use
your events reports in Google Analytics and that is through
this page's report and what this is showing is pages that are
actually being recorded by Google Analytics.
But that also had events on them.
So in this case some I'm in the Merchandise Store. I'm going to
click on the redesigned bags page.
If I click into that, now I'm going to see the different event
categories that reported on that page.
I can see 39 people 18 unique events I should say here.
So 18 unique events were triggered on the contact us, on
that page.
Now how powerful is that.
Again, you can drill down and see on site clicks and then
whether or not they were phone or email clicks that were coming
through. But it really gives you an idea. Starting, looking at
your events and analyzing your events from this pages report is
unbelievably powerful.
So if you are not using events it's a huge section of Google
Analytics that you are not taking advantage of.
Definitely be sure you are.
And if you do have events coming through take a look at the
different ways you can access the events including the events
flow report the top events the overview and the pages report.
Because you are sure to be able to grab insights that you would
not find in any other way.
I would love to know how you're actually using this information
to improve your own marketing efforts.
So if you leave a quick comment below to let us know that would
be outstanding.
Also if you'd like topics around Google Analytics be sure to like

Submit Your Sightings on eBird Mobile - eBird Essentials - Duration: 4:31.
(Music)
With eBird Mobile,
birding has never been easier.
This mobile app helps you to quickly enter checklists
and keeps track of your exact birding route,
letting you just enjoy the birds.
When you're ready to start birding,
the first thing to do is start your checklist.
Next, you'll need to select your location.
There are a couple ways to do this.
The simplest is to choose a location from a map.
Once the app locates your position on the map,
select a nearby hotspot,
or create your own personal location
using the prompts on the screen.
When you're happy with your location, hit Next.
Typically, you'll be entering a checklist in real time,
so the app knows the date and time you're starting.
I want to record my track, so I'll leave that on.
Tracking is a great feature that allows eBird
to fill in where you're birding,
how far you travel,
and how long you're birding for.
It keeps track so you don't have to.
All right, you're all set.
Now click Start New Checklist.
eBird provides a list of expected species
that are likely to be at your location
at that time of year.
You'll fill in this checklist as you go.
Once you've found a bird you know by sight or sound,
the fastest way to add it is to type right here
in the quick entry bar.
Let's start with two Mallards out on the pond.
Type the number of birds, two,
and the species, Mallard,
then select the species from the checklist.
And you're all set.
It's that easy.
Let's enter a few more sightings the same way.
Here's five Canada Geese foraging in the grass.
Sounds like there's a Red-tailed Hawk calling nearby.
(Red-tailed Hawk calling)
And there's an Osprey eating a fish.
And a Great Blue Heron flying overhead.
You can see all the birds you've already tallied
by switching to the checked view.
This is particularly helpful for adding more sightings
to a species.
For example, you see three more Mallards.
Tap the number three times, and you're all set.
You'll notice some birds have these icons
next to their names.
These show whether a bird is infrequently
reported or unreported for that region
and time of year.
By tapping a species name,
you can make changes to your tally
or add comments about the bird's field marks,
it's behavior, the habitat you saw it in,
or anything else you find interesting.
This is especially important
for those rare and unusual sightings.
You can see where you've been by clicking here
to review your track.
When you're finished birding,
tap Review and Submit.
If you have an active track,
eBird will ask you if you're done birding.
Tap Stop track to confirm.
Before you can submit,
eBird asks if you're submitting a complete checklist
of the birds you were able to identify.
Complete checklists are eBird's way of knowing
you've identified and reported all of the birds
you saw or heard to the best of your ability.
It's not possible to detect every single bird.
Nobody can do that.
As long as you've listed all of the species
you could identify,
then check Yes.
Next is info about your birding outing.
This is what makes eBird tracking great.
Tracking has already defined your checklist type
based on whether you were moving or stationary.
Tracking also fills in the duration and distance traveled.
You can change your checklist type
and edit the other fields if you need to.
You can also enter comments about your birding experience.
You can document the weather,
other animals you saw,
or any other fun memories.
Last, but not least,
you can review the species you reported.
When you're ready, click Submit.
Congratulations, you're an eBirder.
You're now part of the largest birding community
in the world.

Explore Merlin Bird ID App - eBird Essentials - Duration: 3:17.
(music)
Merlin is a free app
that uses five simple questions
to identify the birds you find,
providing real-time bird ID guidance,
right in the palm of your hand.
This is such a cool app,
you'll just have to see it in action.
Let's say we're out birding,
and we see a mysterious small bird perched on a fence.
Time to put Merlin to work.
Start Bird ID and Merlin asks, where did you see the bird?
You can choose your current location,
choose a position on a map,
or simply type in a place or postal code.
For this, I'm going to type in Ithaca, New York.
Next question, when did you see the bird?
Today's date will automatically appear first,
so July 23rd works for me.
Question three, what size was the bird?
Okay, Merlin uses a ruler
based on some common types of birds.
Was the bird sparrow-sized or smaller?
Goose-sized or larger?
Or somewhere in between?
Sometimes this is hard,
especially if the bird moves too quickly,
but give it your best guess.
I think our bird is slightly larger than a sparrow
and smaller than a robin,
so I'll choose between sparrow and robin.
On to number four, what were the main colors?
Again, this may be difficult depending on the bird
and the time of day you see it,
but try to choose up to three
of the most obvious colors you saw.
I saw some blue on its back, orange on the throat,
and some buffy brown on the belly.
Finally, what was the bird doing when you saw it?
Eating at a feeder, swimming?
No, and it wasn't on the ground.
A-ha, on a fence or wire.
And that's it.
These deceptively simple questions
are at the core of all bird ID.
Next, we'll get our results.
Merlin provides a list of birds you are most likely to see,
based on your description
and eBird data for that location and time of year.
And here's our list.
Hey, that's it, it's a Barn Swallow.
You can check out photos of the species,
listen to songs and calls,
and browse the rest of the list to see other similar birds.
Once you've identified your bird,
be sure to help Merlin learn by choosing This is My Bird.
If you're able to get a photo of the bird you see,
you can also use the incredible Merlin Photo ID feature.
Select an image from your phone or snap a new one.
Zoom in so the bird fills the frame, then click next.
Confirm the location and the date and hit Identify.
Like magic, Merlin analyzes the photo
and gives you a list of most likely species.
Yep, that's a Barn Swallow.
Thanks to cutting edge computer vision technology,
Merlin Photo ID is more than 90% accurate
for thousands of species of birds.
Isn't that amazing?

Reporting Unusual Birds on eBird Mobile - eBird Essentials - Duration: 2:33.
(music)
There are times
when birds turn up somewhere unusual,
either by themselves, or in huge flocks.
And if you have the chance to see them, that's amazing.
These can be some of the most magical moments of birding.
In these special cases, eBird will need
some additional information from you,
to confirm your sightings
before you can officially submit.
Let's walk through some scenarios.
Let's say you're out birding at Cape May,
on the New Jersey coast, in October.
You're excited to come across a Fork-tailed Flycatcher.
You go to add it to your checklist,
and see an R next to it.
This is eBird's way of noting
that the bird is rare in that location.
How cool is that?
You finish your birding trip, and go to submit,
when suddenly, you receive this message.
One or more birds on this list require confirmation,
which normally means that either the bird is rare,
or the count is unusually high.
Please check to be sure that all birds
on this checklist are confirmed.
Please include comments for each.
Tap OK, and look at your species list.
Notice the box to the right of the Fork-tailed Flycatcher.
Tap this box to confirm your sighting.
Next, you'll need to add some comments about your sighting.
Simply tap the bird's name, and add details about the bird,
and how you identified it.
Describe the field marks you saw,
its color, pattern, shape, and size.
You can also note the bird's behaviors,
the habitat you saw it in,
and any other details that may support your sighting.
Even better, did you get a photo,
or audio recording of the bird?
Make sure to upload your photos and sounds
on the eBird website, to support your checklist.
Another reason you may receive this message,
is that you've documented an unusually high count
for a species for that location and time of year.
This will give you an exclamation mark,
to notify you that what you reported was unusual.
Like with rare species, we recommend that you add comments
about how you counted the birds.
Now that you know some basics
on how and why eBird may ask you
for more information on your data,
you're good to go.
Let's go find some rare birds.

Elementalist Build Guide - Dragon Age Inquisition Multiplayer 2018 - Duration: 8:00.
Greetings in this video we're gonna be going over my build for the Elemenatlist in Dragon Age Inquisition Multiplayer
So my name is DanteofGagamor and I play RPGs like Dragon Age
Mass Effect and the Elder Scrolls, and I also play FIFA
Be sure to stick around to the end of the video and I'll give and I'll show you
How to use this build in combat and give you some more tips, but let's get into it. So
For the abilities, we're gonna start with the
Destruction line so you have to start off with Immolate, which is
Like a fire explosion over a certain area
I got the add on the Wildfire add-on which just means it burns hotter and has a shorter cooldown time allowing you to use it
More often. And then you have to get all the all these passive abilities, Conductive Current
Flashpoint, Clean Burn,
Pyromancer. So these will
sometimes give you willpower or magic
They are essential in order to get to these two
So let's start off with Energy Barrage
Which is where you shoot out numerous projectiles based on your staffs magic so that could be fire
It could be frost could be electricity. And I also got the add-on which is Energy Bombardment
So each hit from Energy
Barrage
Lowers the targets resistance to your staffs magic for a short period of time so whether that's you know that's Spirit, Electricity, Frost, Fire
Whatever. And then this is without a doubt my favorite
power my favorite active ability in multiplayer
Firestorm it's where you summon flaming meteors that are great
If you're in a bind if you're if you're at at a choke point or crowd control
These are excellent. And then you also want to get these passive abilities, Death Siphon combine this with the Life Drain ring
We're going to go through inventory in just a bit
but combine this with Life Drain and you're gonna be regaining health at a very quick pace, so this
At every time an enemy dies nearby you regain both health and mana. Okay, and then Stormbringer is a
Lightning bolt that periodically comes to your aid zapping a random nearby enemy
So I didn't get those two, but I got this one here Control of the Elements all staffs effects that you inflict last longer
I did this so these spells a little bit more umph plus you also get magic as well
And then you're gonna want to get Defiant which is where you get Magic and Cunning
I like this because it's gives you two, Magic and Cunning for one passive ability. So it's like a two-for-one :)
And then if we go over to the Control tree line
You have to get Winter's Grasp and then you have to get all of these, Peaceful Aura makes you less aggressive
Enemies are less likely less likely to attack you. You also get Willpower. Winter Stillness
You stand still and it will restore your mana at and enhanced rate and reduces all your cooldown times. You also get Willpower
And you also get for the next one Guardian Spirit
This is this has saved me so many times when you're about to die
If an enemy lands a killing blow instead this barrier will pop up and that has to be depleted before you can die
Which gives you a chance to get out of there. Then you also get a Barrier
This is also very important. This is like another health bar
And I also got the add-on for that, Elegant Defense which just reduces the cooldown time by about 4 seconds
Strength of Spirits is the passive ability after that which is when you your barriers draw on magic of the fade
To absorb more energy before they deplete so this that's just a barrier bonus. I also got the passive ability of Veiled Riposte
So whenever you have a barrier active enemies to attack you take damage or return. This also gives you magic
This is helpful if you find yourself surrounded or if your Barrier is starting to deplete.
Or you're having trouble wearing down an enemy. All of this helps, right? It deals damage
20% of the damage they inflict on you is returned
And then I also got the passive ability of Gathering Storm
This is when each basic attack shortens your active cooldown times. It also gives you 3 willpower
So the Firestorm has a 60 second cooldown. They may not seem like a lot but in a fight
Every second counts right if you if you're surrounded by
Tons of enemies you want your your big powers to come back quickly and this is crucial for that
All right. So that's my ability list how you map them is up to you
it doesn't really matter and then
For this build I can play on Threatening and Perilous provided you have a good team and you play smart
Beyond that it doesn't really depend on your build or even what staff you have
Or armor it all depends on your core stats, would you improve by promoting characters.
FYI
Ok, so let's go through the inventory
So for the weapon, I have the Staff of Stasis and I have the Superb Spirit Rune on it
The weapon isn't crucial to the build and but that just depends or that will dictate what damage you deal
what type of damage and the armor I have the Drake Scale you get that when you hit one million xp with the mages and
Then accessories. Okay. So let's start with the belt.
I don't havae the Superb Belt of Melee Defense because you want to stay back with Mages in general and with this build
You don't want to be caught in
Melee exchanges you want to stay back and rain down damage from a distance. Belt of Health is what I have.
As my health as you can see isn't
You know too high to begin with. And then the Rings I have is the Enhanced Immolate Ring.
Which just increases the ability duration by about 30% and then I also have the Life Drain Ring on. Now
this combined with Death Siphon. Very useful.
So this gives me 2 percent heal on kill and then for the amulet I have the Amulet of Magic which just boosts
My magic capabilities which makes my spells more powerful. Alright, so you made it to the end
Let's go into a quick match and I'll show you
How to use this build in combat. Okay, so
Look everyone. Okay, so you're in combat here. That would I
What I would prioritize first is Barrier you want to get that cast. So keep your distance. "This is quite amazing" Then take him down.
You can take this guy down. So he's gonna charge at me, right?
If I can just kind of navigate around him and use Immolate, and he's dangerous at a distance.
So that was that passive ability, right?
Which allowed me to use it twice in quick succession?
Okay, now I just want to show you the firestorm look when there's a group of them
Here so that was again that lightning bolt coming to my defense
Okay, so there's both three of them here two warriors. I probably won't be able to get to all of them.
So what I'll do is I will call this down and that's going to knock em down.
I can fall back a little bit and then, going to take them down.
So just like how you map your abilities will depend on how you play so will how you use them so
If you like to get into
melee more
Then then just tweak it to fit your playing style
This is a build guide right, you guys can make it your own you can tweak it you can get different passive abilities
But this is my build and it's worked quite well for me. He's by far my favorite character and I definitely
