West Shroud remains one of the most obscure locations in the Black Shroud.

The area had strange map names that would never be explained – as West Shroud would

disappear with A Realm Reborn.

One of these unresolved areas was Knight's Round, located just west of the Turning Leaf

aetheryte.

For a long time, players wondered if this was a reference to Knights of the Round from

Final Fantasy VII.

Could it be hinting at a primal?

Is it a dungeon?

The questions remained unanswered.

Until someone discovered a cave entrance east of Knight's Round proper.

There were in fact two cave entrances in this area, both guarded by wood wailers.

Iolaine and Dadaneja.

Interacting with them they would provide you with the following responses.

Iolaine: "I apologize, but orders have been given.

None are to pass beyond this point" Dadaneja: "You'll not pass as long as I draw

breath.

Best just go back the way you came."

Other than these warnings, nothing else was revealed about what was hiding in the caves

behind them.

The name of the supposed dungeon inside was often attributed to the name of the area,

"Knights of the Round".

However this has never been confirmed.

I guess that's my cue.

Let's head on inside.

Right off the bat the dungeon looks just like any other Black Shroud dungeon.

I'm presented with a staircase heading down.

I'm very confused when I reach the bottom only to face a wall.

Did the dungeon…

Just end here?

After turning around I see the path continuing ahead of me.

I follow the path for a short while, and I encounter a torch, and a choice between left

or right.

Left looked most appealing, so I take a left, and start walking.

I almost immediately encounter a dark corridor to the left, with an ominous door at the end.

I would like to point out that the doors have no special markings on them.

No beast tribe flags or sigils anywhere.

I pass through, and I find myself in a room with a small table with a lantern, a cup,

and a wine bottle on it.

There were also two stools around the table, and in the back were several storage cabinets

lined up against the walls.

We still have no idea how these early 1.0 dungeons were supposed to function, but this

looks like it would have been a safe spot, possibly containing NPCs.

I'd also like to point out these storage spaces in the walls.

This was also something you'd see a lot in the Mun-Tuy cellars, where fermented beans

were being stored.

In this dungeon it seems like they are doing the same thing!

My initial thought was that they were making and storing wine here, but since when was

wine stored in jars?

Anyway, I leave the room, and walk towards the corridor I just came from.

I notice an opening directly across from where I came from.

I spot torches in the distance.

To the left I see the corridor ending in a circular room similar to those we've seen

a million times before.

This open space intrigues me.

I walk past a bunch of sealed pots, and… what the…

I enter this massive circular room with this…

Iron thing in the middle!

The front has a large door, accessed by these stairs.

At the foot of the stairs is this thing, which looks like a control panel of some sort.

This looks like ancient tech.

Moss and grime having settled on the control unit.

Could this be…

Gelmorran technology?

Around the front of the machine are barrels, pits, and caskets of all shapes and sizes.

Even another wine bottle!

What does this mean??

What was the purpose of this?

Is this linked to Knight's Round?

Is THIS Knight's Round?

I can't contain my curiousity, and phase through the large metal door.

There's not much going on inside, but it is fully textured, meaning it was intended

to open and reveal whatever was hiding inside.

There's also this piece of string that comes down from the ceiling.

This was clearly meant to hold something, or maybe trigger an effect of some sort, like

sparks.

This structure could have been intended to hold this dungeon's final boss.

After leaving this room I realize that the dungeon is built around this room, with multiple

entrances coming in from all sides through the main corridor.

The room itself is also the largest I think I've ever seen in a 1.0 dungeon.

When looking up, I noticed these circular holes in the ceiling.

I count four of them.

I'm baffled at first, but then I realize that they've just taken five circular rooms,

like the ones we've seen a million times, and merged them together to form one giant

room, the fifth hole being the one in the middle, containing the mechanical contraption.

We'll get back to what this can mean at the end of the video.

For now, let's return to our expedition!

Gobsmacked and excited, I leave the room, and head to the circular room we saw before.

This is just your run of the mill Toto-Rak round room, but it did lead to this door,

which in turn lead to this room.

Another potential safe space, with the wine bottle switched out with another one of those

jars.

Yeah, they're making fermented beans alright.

Heading east from that room, I exit through the circular room's third opening, and I'm

once again in another corridor.

An opening reveals itself to the left almost immediately.

A staircase.

Could this be a second exit?

I head upstairs, and I find myself in a large open room.

Following the path, I end up in this room with this massive tree in the middle!

This asset would be reused in Toto-Rak and Tam-Tara Deepcroft, but it's pretty rare

for a dungeon like this to have two unique assets of this size in them.

The tree room lead to this mostly empty room, identical to the one we first discovered in

Peacegarden.

As I return to the tree room I notice something interesting.

I can see a floor below me.

This is a multi-level dungeon!

I run out of the circular room, now intent on finding the stairs leading into the lower

levels of this dungeon.

I pass the entrance, heading east.

I notice a door to the right.

I freeze.

There's… there's another one of those devices.

And this door is gated off.

Clearly meant to open with the control panel.

What could possibly be hiding behind this door?

Oh.

Well.

I'm sure this was supposed to hold loot, but that device thing made me hope for something

more.

Moving on, I encounter yet another one of these doors with a control panel.

This one too leads to a storage room, most likely containing loot.

I keep moving, and eventually I reach this door, illuminated by a torch.

This has to be it.

And hey presto.

Stairs leading down.

As I reach the bottom of the stairs in another circular room, I hear this sound…

I can't remember hearing that anywhere else, and it sounds like an aetherial gate, so I'm

intrigued.

I make an immediate left, to find the source of the sound, and I find this door.

I enter the room, and…

Nothing.

I'm not surprised.

The dungeon was never put into service, so finding an aetherial gate here would be impossible.

But the sound still persists, and it's the loudest in this room.

Could this have been the intended location for this dungeon's Aetherial Gate?.

However, shortly after simply warping upwards, I realize that the sound I was hearing was

in fact the Turning Leaf aetherial gate!

The sound of that gate was so loud it was clearly audible that far down below!

As I venture deeper into the basement portion, I notice that, while the first floor only

had some insignificant damage – the basement was filled with collapsed entryways and corridors.

I walk and I walk.

Until I reach a narrow corridor.

A sound.

I freeze.

This familiar sound….

I sprint towards the sound, and there, in a mostly empty room, sitting on a rock.

A frog.

Not our blue friend Pedro Caramello, no sir.

This one has a different color!

Worried Pedro would get jealous, I greeted the frog, before swiftly moving on.

I continue my way through the maze.

It feels endless.

Eventually I reach the giant tree room.

Not much else could be found in the dungeon though.

The rooms all looked more or less the same, with only the furniture being changed slightly

and moved around.

After returning to the upper level of the dungeon, I decided to run around and look

through every single room.

After a little while, I encounter a SECOND EXIT!

It's the other cave entrance mentioned before, just north of where we entered.

Well that nails down the purpose of this dungeon.

Having two entry and exit points hints that it was meant to function just the same way

as the Mun-Tuy Cellars.

An open world dungeon where your mission is whatever your quest log tells you to do – be

it MSQ, Grand Company, or Levequests.

But what was the purpose of the mysterious devices?

My first thought was naturally Garlean, but these devices do not look Garlean.

They're older.

They look about as old as the tunnels themselves…

Could this be Gelmorran technology?

We know very little of Gelmorra as of 4.2, and I imagine it will remain that way for

a long time, if not forever.

But in 1.0, Gelmorra was very clearly meant to play a bigger role.

The lore was already being fleshed out, and these dungeons were probably meant to play

a part in that lore.

Alas, as ARR launched, most of Gelmorra was washed away.

The ruins are covered up, the Mun-Tuy Cellars have been turned into zone dividers, and Palace

of the Dead doesn't really give us that much insight.

I scoured the internet and the lore book for any mention of technology, but I found nothing.

My gut tells me it's Gelmorran, but we'll probably never know for sure.

This particular dungeon (and probably the name of the area) seems to have been retconned

in ARR.

I think the purpose of the dungeon was to obtain whatever catalyst these machines required,

in order to proceed.

It's possible each machine required a specific catalyst to open, hence why the large circular

room is always open, so players could check if they possessed the required catalyst.

I also think the rooms gated by the devices contained the catalysts for the other devices,

ending with the final catalyst for the big room.

That's just my thoughts on it.

Let me know what you think in the comments as well!

And that's where I'm going to leave you all in this episode.

I hope you enjoyed your time in the Knight's Round dungeon!

Please leave a like if you enjoyed, and if you want more you should subscribe!

-------------------------------------------

Every middle class worker should get a $6,000 raise | Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes - Duration: 6:03.

I think the American dream is safe to say if not dead it's on life support.

It's this idea that if you do well you can get ahead in life and if you have family and

kids they can perhaps do a little bit better than you did.

And what we know by the numbers is that the median wages in this country hasn't budged

meaningfully in nearly 40 years, and yet the cost of living has increased by some counts

by up to 30 percent.

So there's a sense that people are working hard but only a small group of people are

getting extremely lucky while everybody else is really staying in place.

And I think that we have the power to change that.

That's the key idea that I talk a lot about in the book is that we've created an economy

that is structured this way we made specific decisions around how to encourage automation,

globalization and the rise of finance that have created a small group of very lucky people

and we have the power to change it to make sure that economic prosperity is much more

broadly shared.

So, when it comes to the position we're in now I don't think there was one single

moment or one single event that got us here, I think instead it was the collection of a

lot of different decisions that begin to be made in the late 1970s and early 1980s and

we've continued to make, in fact all the way up through, for instance, the end of last

year.

The tax code is one of the most important things.

We've consistently lower tax rates on corporations and the one percent while not giving a break

to the people who need it the most.

At the same time we've ushered in an era of globalization, which by all accounts has

created economic growth but without fundamental worker protections to make sure that people

who are in industries that have moved overseas have been protected.

And we've also made positive decisions, obviously like investing in the Internet,

for instance, which was a government investment initially, which has created the opportunity

for companies like Facebook and Google and many others to rise precipitously.

But all the fruits of that innovation and of all the positive things that come with

that growth have not been evenly distributed.

A small group of people are doing extremely well and at the same time as everybody else

is trying to make ends meet.

And just as we have the power to create the economy in this current configuration, I do

believe we have the power to change it.

There has been debate for decades about whether trickle down economics is the way to go.

And we can talk a lot about economic theory, but in some ways I don't think we really

have to we can just use a little bit of commerce sense.

If you put $100 in the pockets of someone who's working hard to make ends meet they're

going to spend a lot of that money, most of that money on things like childcare, housing,

health care wherever their bills are the highest.

You give someone who is in the one percent an extra $100 they might spend one or two,

but the vast majority of that money is going to get parked in a bank account and not really

become part of the productive economy.

One study by the Roosevelt Institute showed that if you provided $500 to every American

every month it would increase gross domestic product by about seven points over the next

eight years.

So this idea is not just about making sure that the wealthy pay their share, it's also

about creating a kind of broad based prosperity that's good for all Americans, the poor,

middle class and wealthy alike.

My belief is that sometimes the best solution is the simplest.

We should use cash, cold hard money to empower people to chase their own dreams and to re-energize

the American dream.

Specifically we should provide $500 to every person who works in America making less than

$50,000 to enable them to spend it on what they choose, housing, healthcare, education,

gas to go interview for a job.

It's these kinds of decisions that I believe fundamentally the people who are working hard

are the best empowered to make.

And we can use something called the earned income tax credit, which has been massively

popular for decades on the left and on the right, to do this.

With a meaningful expansion and modernization of it we could combat income and equality

in a way that would make a historic dent in poverty and stabilize the lives of tens of

millions of people in the middle class as well.

I think those people who have done the best from this new economy do have a responsibility.

They've got a chance to climb the economic ladder, many of them also got lucky.

Fortune 500 CEOs are some of the hardest working people out there.

They also get very lucky.

And there's a responsibility not to pull the ladder up behind them.

So in my view we should raise rates on income in excess of $250,000 to the historic average

of 50 percent and also close some of the most egregious loopholes in the tax code like the

Buffet Rule, which enables Warren Buffett to pay a lower tax rate than his assistant.

And if we do those things we can pay for a guaranteed income of $500 a month in the here

and now today.

I mean the rough cost anybody who says that this idea is too big the rough cost of this

over the decade would be just a bit more than the total cost of the Trump tax bill that

was passed just a few months ago.

So this is eminently affordable if we can develop the political will to organize for

it.

Is NAD+ the future of aging science? - Duration: 4:25.

Today's video is sponsored by Elysium Health, which produces Basis, a dietary supplement

that's clinically proven to increase NAD+, a natural occurring substance in our bodies

that declines as we age.

This video is made in collaboration with REAL LIFE LORE, a YouTube channel that asks head-scratching

questions about things you didn't even know you NEEDED to know -- Pop-over to RLL after

this vid if you looking for an interesting perspective on today's topic.

Can cosmetics reverse age?

Humanity has been trying to answer that for… ohh, EVER.

One of the oldest medical texts, a papyrus dating all the way back to 2500 BC, contained

"A Recipe for Transforming An Old Man Into A Youth".

It was a face cream made of fruit and mud --- huh -- not too different from some of

today's cosmetic products.

Alchemists, medieval predecessors to modern day chemists, attempted to create the "Elixir

of Life", a mysterious substance that was fabled to keep you young forever.

In the 1800's, the father of endocrinology, scientist Charles Brown-Sequard, even got

into the act by injecting himself with a mash of dog and guinea pig testicles as soon as

he felt old age looming over him.

Shocker!

None of these things made anyone any younger.

Anyone could claim anything.

Consumers were disgruntled.

Mass chaos ensued.

That was, until 1938, when a law descended from the mountaintops of D.C. that said, "Henceforth,

cosmetics shall only beautify, cleanse and promote attractiveness".

Well, in reality, it was actually a little more toned down that.

According to this definition, cosmetics could only hide a wrinkle, not actually remove it.

Oh, did you want more than that?

Well now you're talking about a drug, and that requires proof of safety and effectiveness

before it reaches store shelves.

Ok.

But wait…. if I stand in front of the wall of cosmetics in the beauty aisle, I see a

different story.

Marketing claims like "regenerates cells", "repairs wrinkles", and "heals skin"

seem to suggest that reversing age is possible, even if only on a minute scale.

So cosmetics can reverse aging!?!

What if I told you there might be a grey area between cosmetics and drugs?

Welcome to the world of cosmeceuticals, a marketing term coined in the 80's by a notable

dermatologist who pointed out some cosmetics could have a real effect on the structure

or the function of the skin -- or at least used ingredients that could.

Heard of retinol or vitamin C anyone?

However, since cosmeceuticals aren't a category recognized by the FDA, these cosmetics with

their supposed drug-like capabilities don't undergo the same scrutiny as pharmaceuticals.

No one has to state the percentages of the active ingredients or even provide clinical

proof that they're actually having an effect.

That sounds kinda sketchy.

Are the ingredients in the cosmetic stable?

Can they penetrate the skin barrier?

Who knows.

They may work and they may not.

We'll never know unless someone starts doing studies that allow us to figure what benefits

are real and which products deliver them.

The supplements market has the same problem.

A pair of studies done only a few years ago showed that many supplements didn't even

contain the ingredients they claimed to use.

Yeah, your supplement pill might as well be packed with sawdust.

That's a problem that Elysium, maker of the supplement Basis, is trying to tackle.

Despite the lack of regulation requiring them to do so, Elysium HAS done human trials with

Basis.

The trials show that when users take the recommended dose of the supplement, there is a 40% increase

in the amount of NAD+ otherwise known as Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide.

NAD+ works with sirtuins, a family of proteins connected to longevity in animals.

But sirtuins don't work alone.

They only function when NAD+ is present.

NAD+ functions as a helper molecule, aiding sirtuins in DNA maintenance and mitochondrial

function.

Think of sirtuins as a car, getting you from place to place.

NAD+ is like the gas, without it, driving anywhere would be impossible.

Without NAD+ sirtuins can't function.

As we age our NAD+ levels go down and scientist think the decrease may cause our cells to

work less efficiently over time.

In theory, increasing NAD+ may support how we age and improve our healthspan, the number

of years we live in optimal health.

Elysium's co-founder, Dr. Guarente, the director of the Glenn Lab for the Biology

of Aging at MIT says - "We're not trying to extend lifespan; we want to improve healthspan."

So we know NAD+ is having an effect on the body, and because Elysium released Basis as

a supplement, we get to try it for ourselves now, instead of waiting decades.

After all, those of us concerned about aging aren't getting any younger.

And now let's see what my friend Joseph, from Real Life Lore has to say about the topic!

Elbphilharmonie »TubeTalk« | Die Prinzen - Duration: 2:30.

What's your first impression of the Elbphilharmonie?

Very northern European. Really awesome.

Scandinavian style – it makes you feel like you're in the north of Europe. Totally stylish.

Which Elbphilharmonie concert would you like to attend as a member of the audience?

Die Prinzen. I'd really like to see Die Prinzen again.

It hasn't worked out yet, but I'm sure it will at some point.

What's your connection to Hamburg?

What connects us to Hamburg is first and foremost our first years as a band,

when we made our first records at the »Boogiepark« Studio in Eulenstrasse 70a in Altona

together with Anette Humpe. Lindenberg showed us around St. Pauli –

he showed us a side of Hamburg that no one else knows.

We've played in all the city's music venues – in the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle, in Logo, Docks,

and now in the Elbphilharmonie. So there's nothing we've left out.

How do you preserve your passion for music after 25 years in the business?

Well, we still laugh a lot…

Plus, I think we're the kind of band that gets all enthusiastic about every concert, whether it's in the Elphi

or at a club like Knust or wherever. We play every gig

as if it were the biggest and last and most important of our career!

Every concert is the most important one! You got it!

With or without a symphony orchestra? And why?

Er, well, it's just a great experience! If you can afford, so to speak,

to put 50 people behind you and get them to play your music,

that really is a terrific experience, and it's one that every musician should have once in his life. At least.

Over the last 30 years you wrote a bunch of songs, and suddenly you've got a symphony orchestra performing them.

That's really pretty cool, pretty »sublime«, you might say.

What does music mean to you personally?

Music, well, it's amazing, isn't it? Music is…

Basically, we grew up with music.

I don't want to hit the pathos button and say that we live and breathe music, we love it more than anything.

But at the end of the day, I can't live without music, and you can't either, right?

Music is our life! So really, we turned our hobby into a profession.

Though if I stop to think about it, it was never just a hobby:

there was never an alternative. There's nothing else we know how to do.

Yup, we do what we know how to. And it even puts food on the table.

As you can see!

How do you recognise one of the Prinzen?

Well, he's nice to look at, for a start. Yeah, and he smells good.

He's handsome and eloquent. And he has excellent manners.

Right. And he's extremely musical.

OK, we were just joking, guys.

Don't believe a word of it! We're a bit weird really.

Como pintar huevos de Pascua con acrilicos - Pintura de puntos - Duration: 7:13.

Hello, welcome to my channel

today we are going to paint Easter eggs

I'm going to use these that are plastic

and they are almost identical to the real ones

The first thing we are going to do is paint our egg

let's paint a half blue

and the other half of white

we are going to guide

by the line of union

that has the egg to know which is half

I gave him two layers of paint because with one layer he did not cover enough

when the blue half has dried completely

we painted the other half of white

now that the painting is dry we will start decorating our egg

we are going to use the same colors that we used before

the blue and the white

for this first egg we are going to make a very simple and easy design

we start making white dots

and stretching them curved

around the edge of the blue part of the egg

In the middle of the egg that is painted white, we do the same but with the blue paint

now let's make a dot in the center

and now we make a dot and stretch it

and we make three more dots forming a cross

we continue making four more dots and stretching them

now in the holes that we have left we continue to stretch dots

but with a smaller dot size

and here we are going to make eight dots

in the other half of the egg we do exactly the same

but with the blue paint

for the second egg, let's make a design a little more complicated

but still

It's very easy to do

let's start making blue dots

around the edge of the half that is painted white

and all over the edge of the half painted blue

we make white dots

now a dot in the center

and now we make a dot and stretch it

making a curve to the right

and the same thing but making the curve to the left

now we make four dots and stretch them

and here four more dots on top of the curved

now four more dots

and here we make five more dots and stretch them

we make staggered

first one up in the center

then one on each side but a little lower

and then again one on each side a little lower

and now we make dots from major to smaller

Well, the eggs are ready, the paint is completely dry

and this is how they have been

I am going to give you a recommendation

so you can paint them easier

as you may have noticed

I've been painting the egg all the time

without supporting it anywhere

I simply held it in my hand

and that's a bit more difficult

then I recommend you

between each phase

let the paint dry well

and so you can support the egg on any surface

and it will be easier for you to paint it

Nothing more to say to you guys

I hope you liked the video a lot

and see you in the next

see you soon

bye

Thanks for watching my videos

making Trump reveals arrangements with North Korea are under way president

Trump has hailed the prospect of talks with North Korean leader Kim jong-un

saying a deal is in the making a meeting could see the end of the threat North

Korea's nuclear missile program has been posing to peace Kim unexpectedly

suggested last week that he was open to a face-to-face encounter with the

president which could take place before May after visiting the dictator South

Korea's national security adviser Chung EUI Jung told the White House Kim was

now committed to denuclearization Donald Trump responded yesterday saying the

deal with North Korea is very much in the making and will be if completed a

very good one for the world time and place to be determined

he tweeted North Korea has not conducted a missile test since November 28th 2017

and has promised not to do so through our meetings I believe they will honor

that commitment he also revealed in a tweet Chinese president oxygen thing and

I spoke at length about the meeting with Kim jong-un of North Korea president X I

told me he appreciates that the u.s. is working to solve the problem

diplomatically rather than going with the ominous alternative China continues

to be helpful experts praised mr. Trump's foreign

policy strategy labeled the madman theory which has also seen China fully

support sanctions against its neighbor Robert mening a former US State

Department Mandarin who advised the White House on North Korea between 2001

and 2008 said Kim's behavior since January has been extraordinary I've been

watching North Korea for 30 years and I've never seen anything like it

something lit a fire his father Kim jong-il was old and

didn't think about the future Kim jong-un is only 34 he has promised

economic prosperity and he can't deliver because sanctions are hurting he sees

the US is successful with China in getting them to enforce sanctions that's

new the madman theory is working he's intimidated China into feeling he

will start a war and I'm sure he's scared Kim jong-un as well meanwhile

former basketball star Dennis Rodman has emerged as an unlikely special envoy for

the peace deal with North Korea the six feet seven eye on NBA superstar

yesterday offered to use his special relationship with both the President and

Kim jong-un to act as a go-between Rodman has visited the closed secrete of

state as a VIP guest at least three times since 2013 and refers to Kim as my

friend on one trip he presented his tyrannical host with mr. Trump's 1987

best-selling business book the art of the deal the 56 year old who also became

friends with mr. Trump after appearing on the celebrity version of his TV show

The Apprentice said he was willing to use basketball diplomacy to broker an

agreement last night Professor Joseph Terwilliger of Columbia University who

accompanied Rodman on one trip said I don't suspect very many Americans would

have chosen him but Dennis has had a long friendship with mr. Trump in a very

cordial friendship with mr. Kim thanks for watch please subscribe channel for
