So the OPG X-Lab is a product of our nuclear fleet initiative on innovation and technology.
It's modelled after Google, Amazon, Apple innovation incubation centres,
that's really trying to drive focus on innovation
and drive plant performance and business performance.
We're working on a lot of cool things at the X-Lab.
First of all using a lot of advanced technologies such as augmented reality,
virtual reality, wireless battery monitoring, 3D printing -
all of it that can be used across all of Ontario Power Generation.
One of the items X-Lab is working on is a pair of Google Glasses, using augmented reality
to always understand what your radiation dose is so you never exceed any radiation limits.
The work we're doing here at X-Lab is really driving the culture shift
of good judgment and efficiency. It improves reliability.
It also improves our bottom line with costs and helps us grow the business with innovation.
The team is doing a great job demonstrating these behaviours
and it's really shown with some great examples in the power station.
