- I'm happy already.

Okay.

- Should we go outside?

- Let's go outside!

Are you okay with that?

- I'm okay with that.

- Okay, great.

Let's go this way, I guess.

Okay.

Here we go!

Mmmm-

mmm-

mmmm

mmm

Well, Jonathan, if you'll come out with me.

This is my beautiful backyard.

- Nice yard.

- Do you want to take the head of the table, please?

- Well, thank you very much.

- Yeah, as befits a master of your stature.

There we go.

So, do you like it in fancy restaurants when the guys goes

like this and then he goes over your lap.

You know, he does the thing and he starts to slither it

over your lap.

I think it's a little...

- It's never my favorite moment.

- I like to do it to myself sometimes.

- There you go!

- Maybe too much.

Alright.

Oh, thank you.

And now, can we have this first bite together

and I'll remember this forever and ever.

Ready?

- Ready!

- Mmmm

- Mmmm-mmm-mmm.

How to Be a Successful YouTuber (THINK LIKE OPRAH!!) - Duration: 8:03.

Sunny Lenarduzzi: You want to succeed on YouTube?

Think like Oprah.

Welcome to the Sunny Show, for the bright side of being your own boss, and building

your own life.

Well, it's no secret that I love Oprah.

I mean, she is always watching from up there as well.

She's a part of my set, and has been a huge part of my life, without actually knowing

it.

But I would run home every single day from school to watch the newest episode of The

Oprah Winfrey Show at 4:00 p.m. all throughout my childhood, all throughout growing up.

And it hit me recently that Oprah kinda taught me everything that I know about succeeding

on YouTube.

So I have six key takeaways that you and I can both take from Oprah to build our own

thriving channel, and go from unknown to worldwide recognition, aka Oprah status.

So let's dive into the six takeaways.

Takeaway number one is believe in yourself, because if you don't believe in you, why would

anybody else?

And I don't think that there is any better representation of self-belief than this clip

of Oprah from before The Oprah Winfrey Show even launched.

Take a look.

So this show that's just getting underway nationally.

Mm-hmm (affirmative).

It's going to, it'll do well.

And if it doesn't?

And if it doesn't, I will still do well.

I will do well because I am not defined by a show.

I think we are defined by the way we treat ourselves, and the way we treat other people.

I would be wonderful to be acclaimed as this talk show host who's made it.

That would be wonderful.

But if that doesn't happen, there are other important things in my life.

Sunny Lenarduzzi: So what I take from this, in this day and

age, is this message really transcends.

So many times I hear people say, "I don't wanna put myself on camera.

I don't know what I wanna talk about.

I'm just really nervous to put myself out there."

And that's because there's a very fickle nature to the internet, and truly, there's a pretty

mean nature to the internet.

But if you're allowing trolls, and the negativity to stop you from speaking your truth, and

doing what you really wanna do, in your own authentic way, then you're really not living

your best life, as Oprah would say.

Take-away number two is that consistency factor.

One of the biggest keys to my success on YouTube, and to a lot of YouTuber's success is that

they're consistently creating content.

And why consistency is so important is because I believe that it's the best way to build

trust and relationships with your community and your audience.

And if you have trust, and if you have a community that loves your channel, and loves your content,

they will be there to support you through thick and thin.

And they will buy into you, because you're investing in them by showing up for them on

a consistent basis.

So if you're wondering why your channel's not succeeding, but you're only posting every

not and then, well, this may be a huge factor.

If you don't show up for your audience, they're not gonna show up for you.

So that Oprah effect, and having a consistent day and time that you post on, is really important.

Take-away number three is something that I've always held close to my heart, and it's that

there is no such thing as luck.

There is no luck, without you being prepared to handle that moment of opportunity.

And so what I would say for myself is that because of my hand in a hand and a force greater

than my own, I have been prepared in ways that I didn't even know I was being prepared

for.

And the truth is, for me, and for every person, every single thing that has ever happened

in your life is preparing you for the moment that is to come.

Sunny Lenarduzzi: So when it comes to YouTube, it's very easy

to just give up, and figure that nobody's gonna care, or listen, or watch.

And this is really true of any new media platform.

Whatever platform you're choosing to be on, whether it's podcasting, or you wanna be on

Instagram, or Facebook Live, or whatever it is that you're trying to draw attention to.

If you're doing it, and hoping that it happens overnight for you, and you're just gonna get

lucky, and have an audience built in, that's not how it works, unless you wanna have overnight

success, which sometimes doesn't mean long-term success.

Take-away number four is always do your best.

Little story for you.

I started on YouTube, started posting videos, and had a very small channel.

Within a month of starting on YouTube, I had a message from the head of social media at

NATO, asking me to speak at a conference to world organizations like the CIA, NASA, and

the list goes on, the UN.

It was incredibly, incredibly intimidating, and humbling.

And also, it was shocking to me, because I had such a small channel.

Didn't really think anybody was watching.

But the point here is, and this is often what Oprah says.

Always do your best, because you have no idea who might be taking notice, or who might be

watching.

And that's very true of YouTube.

Put your best foot forward with every piece of content you put out, because even if you

think nobody's gonna see it, you never know.

Take-away number five is that your community will carry you.

There's a really amazing clip from the Making Oprah podcast, which I highly recommend that

you listen to.

It's really interesting to see how Oprah Winfrey came to be the huge success that she is today.

And so I wanna have you listen to this clip to really understand that Oprah did not always

talk about the things she talks about today.

She wasn't always talking about living your best life.

And it was a really courageous move, and a huge pivot for her, from what she talked about

in the early days of her talk show.

So understand that if you start talking about certain type of content online, and you wanna

pivot into something else, if you have a community that you built, that know like and trust relationship

with, they will stick with you.

They are your tribe, and you have to value them as such.

So take a listen to this.

I never worried about the audience, because the audience, from the beginning, was following

me, and my instincts about what my truth was, and what we as a show wanted to present as

the truth.

And I felt that as long as I'm true to myself, there will be somebody who will relate to

that.

Sunny Lenarduzzi: Take-away number six of what Oprah has taught

me about YouTube.

She has truly taught me to be your own boss.

I heard an interview of Oprah, not too long ago, talking about why she created the OWN

network.

And one of the reasons is because she wanted to talk to who she wanted to talk to, and

she wanted to talk about the things she wanted to talk about.

And that is the magic and the beauty of YouTube.

And it's truthfully one of the reasons that I no longer work in traditional media.

No slight to it.

It's just that I really wanted to create the kind of content I wanted to create on my own

terms.

And so I turned to YouTube.

And this is why this is such a magical outlet to be a creative voice for your niche and

your space.

So it really is about being your own boss, and creating the kind of content that matters

to you, and will matter to your targeted audience.

If you liked this video, I would love to hear your feedback.

Give me a like below, comment, and let me know what your greatest take-away was from

one of your biggest mentors.

Maybe it was Oprah.

And share it with your fellow bosses.

Be sure to subscribe.

Hit that little bell for notifications every time I post a new video.

And I will see you next week.

Thanks boss.

How To Stop Energy Vampires In Relationships | Get Your Power Back! - Duration: 7:45.

David: In this video, we're going to teach you how to stop energy vampires.

Three tips.

Heather: To get your power back.

David: Get it back, get it back.

Plus, stay to the end for a secret weapon.

Heather: To help you ward off emotional vampires.

I'm Heather.

David: And I'm David.

Heather: From Zen Rose Garden.

David: .com.

Heather: Yes.

David: Helping people create.

Heather: Badass lives.

First, what is an energy vampire?

David: So here's some signs of energy vampires.

Heather: Yes.

David: When you're around certain people, you might feel a little drained.

Heather: Like they're taking something from you.

David: Or, sucking all your energy.

Heather: You're going to feel stressed out, frustrated, angry.

David: Having difficulty going out into public?

Heather: You're going to feel like someone took something away from you.

You might feel low energy after you interact with them.

You might feel drained.

David: Or, around certain people, you might start to feel angry for no seeming reason.

Tip number one.

Heather: Energy vampires and empaths.

This is an interesting relationship that you need to understand.

David: And a lot of times when you have this particular dynamic of vampire and empath,

you got to kind of realize, it tends to be a co-dependent relationship.

Heather: It can be.

David: But we want to clarify that not all empaths are in a co-dependent relationship

with a vampire.

Heather: No.

In some cases, the energy victim of the energy vampire can also become a vampire, themselves.

David: When you feel like you're not getting enough energy or food, in this case.

Energetic food.

Then, by design, you're going to scramble for energy from people around you if you don't

feel like you can sustain it yourself.

Heather: So the empath who becomes the victim of the energy vampire might, in turn, become

a vampire by trying to fill that void that has been drained, so it becomes this cycle,

and this symbiotic relationship between the energy vampire and the over-extended empath.

And it's just a cycle neither of them can get out of.

David: Tip-

Heather: Number two.

David: Being a victim is a choice.

Heather: Now let us explain.

There is a difference between being victimized and being a victim.

David: Being victimized is something that will happen occasionally to people throughout

their life.

Heather: Everybody at some point in their life is going to be victimized.

David: However, holding onto that mentality as an identity is a choice.

Heather: So victim mentality is something that you cultivate after being a victim because

you're suddenly getting sympathy and empathy from other people, and victim mentality can

eventually become a victim mentality disorder, where it becomes a lifestyle and an addiction,

and part of your identity.

And this is when the empath, like we were talking about in tip one, becomes that vampire,

themselves.

David: And the reason that this takes place is because sympathy tends to be addictive.

If you don't have a solid identity in who you are outside of the victimization, or the

victim mentality, then it continues to grow as a need to feed.

Heather: So remember, vampires typically prey on the weak.

So work on that victim mentality.

It makes you weak.

David: Stop being a victim.

Heather: Stop it.

Tip number three.

David: Stop the blame game.

Heather: Stop it.

David: Just quit.

Stop it.

Heather: Recognize that by continuing the pattern of blaming other people for they took

my energy, or they did this to me, or they're making me feel like this, you're creating

a really solid foundation to continue being vampire food.

David: Oh.

That's on you.

Heather: So the best way to start blocking energy vampires is to stop blaming energy

vampires.

David: Because once you can stop the blame game, once you can stop this person is doing

something to me, and start taking responsibility for your personal programming, then you can

break the cycle.

If you continue putting it on everybody else, then you're never going to find the solution

because the solutions inside.

Bam.

And this goes back to what we mentioned earlier with the symbiotic relationship.

If both people are not receiving what they need in some fashion, whether they're consciously

aware of it or not, they will continue the relationship to receive what they believe

they need.

Heather: So stop it.

David: Get out of that kind of thinking.

Heather: Now it's time for the bonus tip.

Powerful people who are solid in who they are, will never complain about psychic vampires,

or energy vampires, or emotional vampires.

They don't have a problem with it.

David: They've already learned how to stop the blame game and start taking personal responsibility

for their own growth.

Heather: So how do they do that?

David: Well, they realize, first off, that their own power is self-contained.

And they're Southern.

Heather: And they're from the South, apparently.

David: Yeah.

Heather: So how can you get there, so that energy vampires are no longer a problem for

you?

David: One way is to explore any power struggle relationships that you've ever had in the

past, usually with the people that raised you.

Heather: Right, if you can take a look at those relationships and figure out what you

were trying to prove, what you were trying to keep yourself safe from.

David: Or, what fear or program got stuck back then as a method of survival?

Heather: So look at your past power struggles to get you to some answers about why you're

letting your power go, and giving your power away to these energy vampires.

David: So a book that will help you understand these power struggles is The Celestine Prophecy.

It's a great book that kind of goes into detail with this kind of energy victim, vampire thing

and taking personal responsibility.

creates our reality.

Heather: You just learned how to stop energy vampires like a badass.
