the fists programs that where created to make things easier, and they where not

I download an app for maps or routes
I open the app, look at it
what the......
undestanding that some apps need to be complicated
most app in Android and IOS have been easier to use more and more
they made them visualy attractive
if its easy and simple, its faster and more satisfactory
I will talk today about an Map App
many will know already this app,
but some may not
its been updated in English in IOS
If you are going climing or complex routes
this is not the app for you
this is a great app for
bicycle touring, hiking, trekking

let me explain what makes this app great
for the use I give to it
visually is great
similar to google maps, but better
roads, paths, points of interest
everything clear and simple
multi plataform
you can use in your home computer
at your ipad or android tablet
of course in your phone, as its the item we bring with us
the planing route option is amazing
you can see distance, elevation, and expected time of arrival
you can use the navigate fuction
I can add points of interest, pictures
but this is not over
as I can use it in any device
I can sync up all my devices
all I do in my computer
will appear in my phone instantly
you don´t need to use files or transfers
I like the price as well
its free
lets go with the App itself
when you opent it you can see its similar to google
but with more information
and with some details important for hikers
you can see big roads, small ones, paths, trails
let me tell you before anything
a few small trails are not present
hope in future updates, they complete them
we can use the app horizontaly or vertical
in the upper left side
a green play botton
if you want to record your hike
I do not use this, only if it is needed, and I have plenty of battery available
or if you have a spare battery
at the bottom you have 3 bottons
under the maps types you have an orientation button
it just oriented the map as needed
and under that the funcion button
you will find there many options
but fist you will need to register
mail address and a password
so you can save all your routes, points or pictures
and you can sync up all your information
with all your devices
this way you can plan your trip on your computer
and open it in your mobile device
the comes in English, but its easy to use
you can see routes and points
activities, pictures
route planning, here you can design your hike
you can choose if you go walking, by bike
you choose where to start and where to finish
lets put Peñafiel
it will show us the best way
it will give us the elevation profile and total distance
we can save it or share it
there is an back and forth button
to make the same trip the other way around
plan a trip, this is just a circular trip from the point we are at
we can choose the distance
great it has offline maps
so we can use them anywhere
I downloaded all from Spain, but you can choose any Country
and there is still a first Aid section
where you can call emergency services
find help in the surroundings
and a simple and short help section with some tips
and on the right side
the search button
where you can search for location, points of interest, hotels, bars,,,,,,
so I think is a great simple app
its great to use
I do not track my routes
but I use it all the time when hiking
love to save some points and plan a trip at home
to share this information
and of course for the price, I think is great
I will take advantage of this App
will check a trip suggestion
and I will start walking
