According to the results of a new study, those over the age of 65 and those identifying themselves

as ultra conservatives were seven times more likely than any other age group in this country

or political group in this country to share fake news on social media.

Now, this is the result of a study that's been conducted by professors at multiple different

universities working together to find out exactly how bad the fake news situation is

on social media, especially during the 2016 presidential election and their results, which

shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone showed that, yeah, those over the age of 65 shared

the majority of the fake news on social media and the majority of all of those people were

also considered ultra conservative.

Now, here's what's really actually interesting about this study.

I'm going to have to read a couple of points here.

A says, when other demographic factors and overall posting Tennessee's are factored in,

the average person older than 65 shared seven times more false information.

Then those between 18 and 29, so good job.

Younger Generation, 18 to 29.

Your sharing the least fake news, so thank you.

A senior shared more than twice as many fake stories.

People between 45 and 64, so that age group is getting a little iffy too.

Um, and more than three times that of people in the 30 to 44 year old range.

So this study confirms also that the older somebody gets, the more likely they are to

believe and share this fake news.

It gets even more interesting here.

I'm the researchers looked at differences in gender, race, and income, but could not

find any statistically significant differences in sharing a false information.

But what they did find, since there's no differences in age, gender, race, whatever, the very conservatives

shared misinformation, six point eight times more often than the very liberals and six

point seven times more than moderates.

People who called themselves liberals, essentially shared no fake stories.

That's from the report shared no fake stories for the liberals.

That's pretty impressive, right?

And you gotta hand it to the left a little bit.

They're not the ones out there spreading misinformation on social media.

That mantle, according to this study, belongs to conservatives.

And more importantly, elderly conservatives, but here's the thing, we have had fake news

being shared in this country for decades.

You know, it didn't start with Fox, it didn't start with Breitbart or the daily caller.

It's been going on for a very long time.

We just didn't have this catchy little name for it.

They call it fake news, but in recent years, as more and more of these little fly by night

grifting conservative sites pop up, fake news has become more prevalent and that's the problem.

And the bigger issue as well is how do we teach people to recognize fake news when they

see it?

How do we teach people to sort through all the crap and find what's actually accurate?

Obviously according to the study itself, liberals don't have a problem with that.

They're pretty damn good at sorting out what's real and what's not.

It's those elderly conservatives who are too willing to believe anything that they see

online and immediately share it with all of their friends.

That's the real problem that we have to deal with and unfortunately I don't have an answer

as to how we go about that.

The only thing we can do is continue pushing the truth, continue sharing the truth, and

hope that over time we can convince these people that they have been wrong and that

they've been duped by these conservative grifters who seem to come up with a new daily caller,

daily wire, daily liar website every single week.

¡Bilbao Gastronómico! - Duration: 8:56.

Hello fellow travelers!

As we told you in our last week's video, we wanted to devote a video to the gastronomy in Bilbao.

Remember that it was a surprise-weekend that I organized for Sandra for her birthday.

We visited two Michelin-star restaurants, we ate a lot of pintxos, we drank zuritos…

you are going to enjoy this video and it will give you some tips about this city.

Besides you are going to know what a "txikitero" glass is…

Let's go!

We are here!

The surprise started a bit… weird… because Jose told me we were going to stay in a hostel…

And I thought… what a stingy partner I have… what a tight surprise…

But we have to say that we have to take advantage of some nice places,

well located and with a great price like this.

It has a huge room, a private bathroom and even a small living room.

But, apart from this, the rest of the weekend is not going to be low-cost, is it?

We'll see…

We are in the Plaza Nueva. It reminds me of the one in Madrid.

Yes, because it is porticoed, it has a lot of bars around it and, therefore, it's very lively.

It's 12 noon and all bars are overcrowded. Let's eat something!

You know that there is a rivalry about the pintxos (small piece of bread with gourmet food on top of it)

among the three Basque main cities: Donosti, Vitoria and Bilbao.

We already tried the ones in Vitoria and now we are going to try Bilbao's.

Sure, next year we will visit Donosti and decide which the best are.

Chacolí white wine, Spanish omelet (with onion, of course…) and another one with cheese and ham.

The pintxos on the counter look yummy!

I noticed that the group of youngsters that were in this bar, asked for the bill, paid and went to the next bar,

just in the next building.

That's why they call it "ir de pintxos". One drink, one pintxo and another place…

Not like us. We are not used to it.

If we and our group of close friends had come here, to this bar that we like,

we would have chosen 10 pintxos for each one and gone back home…

We have to adapt to the culture of the place you are visiting, so let's go to the following…

I ordered a "zurito", a small glass of beer.

But, be careful because "ir de pintxos" can be dangerous if you drink a big glass of beer or wine in every bar.

That's why they invented the "zuritos" and the "txikitero" glass.

It's a glass with just 10 cms depth. So, the amount of wine is small and you can drink several.

Now, our friends, we crossed the estuary because we want to visit Poza St., a place with a lot of nightlife.

We are going to have dinner in a fish restaurant that our friend Alfredo recommended to us.

BTW, are you seeing how beautiful Arriaga theatre is?

Oops, a flying umbrella!

Maybe you can't hear us because it's too windy. We are going to show you Ledesma St.

There are a lot of bars and taverns.

What a great social atmosphere! It's 8:30pm and there are a lot of people on the street!

Another great area for eating and drinking is Poza St.

Our restaurant is near here, right?

Yes, let's go!

Our friends, we are going to have dinner in Zarate, one of the five 1-Michelin-Star restaurants in Bilbao.

Zarate specializes in fish. I can't wait!

For a starter, I ordered an oyster with citric sauce… and Jose a pintxo of anchovies that,

as you may know, are one of the best and most typical Basque products.

Later, as a main course, we are going to share a "pez rey" (king fish). It's similar to a red sea bream.

A very important thing: they have a special desert that you have to order at first, if you want it…

it's a blue cheese pie… ummmm…

At the Arenal promenade, close to the estuary, you can find a local organic market, every Saturday.

You can find vegetables, legumes, cheeses, wine… perfect for a gift!

Do you remember? Zurito, txikito…

This is a Marianito… or vermouth…

Regarding this weekend surprise… where are we having lunch today?

Everything started 4 months ago…

I realized there was a restaurant called Mina where just 25 people eat every day.

Did you book a table 4 months ago? Wow!

It's finally time to get to know Mina!

This is another 1-Michelin-Star restaurant in Bilbao.

The chef is Alvaro Garrido. Its cuisine is creative, based on local products.

Something that we like is that they don't have a fixed menu.

Depending on the products he buys every day in the market, he prepares a different menu every day.

Happy birthday!

Wow, the gift you gave me was great!

Try to book a seat at the counter, you will enjoy the work of the kitchen!

What broth they have! Ummm the one of chicken, the one made of mushroom…

They prepare their broths, at a low heat, during several days!

I don't want to eat anymore… until next month, please…

Yes, indeed, we had enough food for ages…

I will never forget Mina, highly recommended!

But not just the Michelin restaurants… also traditional bars are great!

Bilbao has such a great offer of restaurants that you could be there,

trying different places, for a month, without repeating the place!

We insist on thanking our ambassadors: Javier, Alfredo and Iñigo. Their recommendations were essential for us.

It's so important for us that you give us these pieces of advice…

Please, be our ambassador in your town!

Send us an email to viajandoanuestroaire@gmail.com and tell us the curiosities of your town.

You know that you can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

See you next week in a new trip of viajandoanuestroaire!

Bye!

ClipStudio Glow Tutorial/Draw This In Your Style Challenge - Duration: 7:01.

Hey guys!

It's Lolly Bee and today I'm going to be doing a tutorial about how to add a, sort of, sunset glow to any type of

character. About a year ago I did a similar video,

but, like, now that I'm looking back on it...

It's just not the most efficient or the best way to do it (laughter)

So today I'm gonna kind of redo that video and redeem myself a little bit.

But before we get started, I want to kind of disclaimer all of you that I am using a character

that is not my own for this video.

One of the artists that I follow, gravityne-art on Instagram, is like one of my top artists inspirations 'cuz he's just like...

yeah, the talent that I don't have but I really really want (laughter)

Anyway,

This (illustration) is a draw this in your style challenge and it was turning out so well,

so I thought I would kind of relate to all of you the different things that I'm learning about

ClipStudio and how to add this glow effect that I do not know how to add before.

With all that being said, let's finally get into it! I have my character,

I have my background, the background is just a simple airbrush schwoop...

is "schoop" a thing? I'm gonna call it a thing.

And you can see the photo that I referenced and I also color picked from up in the corner,

But I turn it off because I didn't need it anymore.

So now what I'm going to do is add two layers on top. And by on top

I mean that they are sitting on top of the folder with every single one of my color layers in it.

So as you can see from this drop-down menu, I'm setting both layers to overlay.

Now I'm going to pick my colors that I want the shadow and the highlight to be

and I can just click the bucket fill tool and it'll fill the entire layer.

Once that's done, you can see that it's affected the entire canvas (which I don't want), so I go back to that layer and clip it.

It's going to clip down to the folder that I've set below it.

And then of course,

You're going to find the color that you want to be the highlight and I chose a soft yellow for this particular illustration

because of the way the dawn (*sunset*)

came out in my background.

Then I took the soft eraser tool, which was in ClipStudio when I downloaded it,

and I turned the density down to 20%

Which, density confused me because in MediBang it's opacity which means exactly the same thing (laughter)

And now I'm chiseling away at the highlights that are on the entire character.

I'm erasing that yellow and so the blue is coming through and now

I'm going on the blue shadow layer and erasing that from where the highlights are supposed to be. That way

the colors are not overlapping and they're

showing through more prominently on both layers. Once I was done tweaking and messing around with that

I went straight into the coloring and so I turned both of those layers off so that I would be able to

better see where I wanted my shading to go.

Lately, I've been doing far more of a cel shaded style. So I definitely needed to see exactly where I was putting my harsh shadows.

Once I was happy with my shadows, I went right into what I normally do which is add some

airbrush effects, then I created a layer with the add glow setting. And it was kind of a

little bit of a trial and error because the glow layer can be a little funky about certain colors.

So I wanted his hair to be more pinkish because the artist

normally has it more pinkish.

So I had to mess around with that

quite a bit to kind of

find out exactly where that perfect color was

and then of course I moved on to the skin because I knew that was gonna be, like, the most prominent. Where most of the

sunlight was gonna make an effect,

And for a second, I'm just going to explain my layer system.

I have the base color, and then on top of that there's a airbrush layer,

then on top of that there's a cell shading shadow layer,

and on top of that is a highlight layer and for this illustration

I turned the highlight layer to "add glow". also the way I choose to pick my shading colors is I will turn the

shading layer to multiply and then turn it down to about 50.

Then I will take the eyedropper tool make sure I have no layers on top of the original

flat color layer and pick the original skin tone or hair color or whatever I'm picking from.

Then it's generating the perfect shading color for what I want to use. So that's a easy,

really neat trick that I've really started getting into a habit of using. And then for the glow the same applied

Unless it came to the hair because with the hair I didn't like the color,

but I would pick the original color and then as soon as I started adding

that color in the add glow layer

then it would be a totally different color. Except for the hair because then it was like red orange and I didn't want that (laughter)

And then that was about it!

It's a really, really simple

trick. And then after that I just kind of went through and tweaked things a little bit more until I liked it.

But basically to run down, I got two layers set them to overlay clip them to my

original colors. I put one to a dark one to a highlight and then I erased I chiseled them away a little bit

so that they stood out more on each layer

And then I used add glow layers and multiply layers to give off different

effects and

then

something that I really like doing at the very end is I'll add a paper texture layer and I'll turn it down to about 30%

And it gives a little bit of like a storybook feel that I really like (laughter)

And then that was it!

I hope I explained things, you know,

like well enough and if you have any questions

don't hesitate to ask me! And as always if there's a tutorial that you would like to see, please let me know about it in

the comments!

I had a lot of fun doing this draw this in your own style

challenge for the first time and I really hope you guys check out the original artist because...

yeah, he's amazing (laughter)

I hope you guys enjoyed the video and I will see you all next week! Bye!!!
