Youtube daily Jan 6 2019

(melodic tune)

I come from a family of serious eaters

and I've tried to eat up to my family's standards.

My mother's fried chicken was the best thing I ever ate.

If I could ever write anything that's as good

as my mothers fried chicken, I'll be proud.

The Way Folks Were Meant to Eat,

read by the Author, Roy Blount Jr.

These days people worry so much about their hearts,

that they don't eat hearty.

The way folks were meant to eat is the way my family ate

when I was growing up in Georgia.

We ate till we got tired.

Then we went whew and leaned back

and whole heartedly expressed how much we regretted

that we couldn't summon up the strength

right then to eat some more.

When I moved to the North East,

I met someone who said she liked to stop eating

while she was still just a little bit hungry.

I was taken aback.

Intellectually, I could see it was a sound

and even an admirable policy.

Lord knows it kept her in better shape than mine did me.

I just thought it was crazy.

We have only so much appetite allotted to us

in our time on this earth, was my feeling,

and it's a shame to waste any of it.

People I grew up with wanted to get on out

beyond their appetite a ways

to make sure they used all of it.

They wanted to get full.

They intended to get full.

If a meal left them feeling just a touch short

of overstuffed, they were disappointed.

I knew a man once who complained

about those little Spanish peanuts

because they never added up to enough

to give him any reason to stop eating 'em

'til they were all gone

and then he was still up to eating some more.

"I can't get ahead of 'em," he said.

But eating right is not just a question of quantity.

Primarily, it's quality.

It's not letting any available good taste

to go unswallowed.

The people I grew up eating with didn't just take a few

of the most obvious bites out of a piece of chicken

and decide abstractly,

"well, I've eaten this piece of chicken."

They recognize that the institution

of fried chicken demands a great deal of a chicken,

and they felt bound to hold up their end.

They ate down to the bones and pulled the bones apart

and ate in between the bones

and chewed on the bones themselves.

And the bones that weren't too splintery,

they gave to the dogs who were glad to have them.

Unless they're over bred, dogs, generally, are Southern.

Eating is like reading and writing.

A book ought to be something that a person can read

the way a person is meant to eat chicken,

something with plenty of unabashed and also intimate flavor.

Ready and deep-dived flavor.

Flavor hard to separate from the structure.

Flavor that is never really exhaustible.

Even the dogs don't get the last of it

because they eat too fast.

Getting all the good of it should be the determination

of a reader as well as an eater.

And a writer, as well as a cook,

should be determined to get plenty of good into it.

Eating also goes hand in hand,

so to speak, with talking.

Folks I grew up with talked while they ate,

about what they were eating.

When several sides and generations

of a family of such folk sat down together around a table,

with 10 or 12 generous platters of food in front of them,

they sounded like this.

"And that's a nice service, amen."

"Pitch in."

"I don't know where to start first."

"Mm-mmm."

"Big Momma has outdone herself tonight."

"Well, I just hope y'all can enjoy it."

"I believe I could eat a horse!"

"Would you look at them tomatoes?"

"Mmm, don't they look good?"

"Now, Tatum, slow down."

"You let that child enjoy himself."

"You'd think we didn't feed him at home."

"Well he didn't get any snap beans."

"Lord, pass that child some snap beans."

"Lila, how 'bout you over there?

"You need something more."

"Butter beans."

"Ooh, Lynn, nah, I'm working on this corn."

"Come on, just a dab."

"Well, you talked me into it."

"Mm-mmm, awful early to be gettin' this good a corn."

"Eunice, would you send that okra back around?"

"Look at me, just a puttin' it away."

"I'm eatin' like a field hand."

"Little more tea to wash it down?"

"Mm-mmm, these greens."

"Anybody want anything?"

"I will have one more helping

"of that squash if nobody minds."

"It's so good."

"Little cornbread to sop that juice?"

"One more mouthful of ham,

"then I do have to stop, sure enough."

"Look at all this chicken left."

"Have a little more there, Charles."

"But where would he put it?"

"And just a spoonful of that gravy to put on my peas."

"Charles, we didn't raise you

"to mix your gravy with your peas."

"See, now you let that child eat the way he likes it."

"Mm-mmm."

"More rolls anybody?"

"I think this is all I can hold."

"You better eat some more of this good chicken."

"No, I gotta save room for pie."

"Look at that pie."

"Mmm, what is in this pie?"

"This pie is so good."

"Oh, mmm, how do you get your crust

"to do like this thing, Momma?

"My crust won't do like this."

"Oh, your crust does fine."

"Mm-mmm-mmm."

"Well, I have eaten myself sick."

"Mm-mmm, wasn't that good?"

"I don't think I could touch another bite."

"I'm about to pop!"

"Mmm, yes Lord, them tomatoes especially good."

"Got plenty more, now, I could slice right up."

"No, no.

"I'd die."

Best Bank for Penny Boxes - Bank Battle Round 8! - Duration: 14:04.

it's time for round eight of the bank box battle for pennies...

Hey everybody its Rob with Rob Finds Treasure and if you've been following the first seven rounds of this series

you'll remember that Wells Fargo has won the last three rounds in a row by a

landslide and is now solely in first place at forty three point one points

per box chase is second at 36 6 and B of A is holding on at 34 one only three

rounds to go of this 10 round series before we change the score sheet and get

into a different set of rounds that being said figured I'd kick it off with

chase since the box is different than the other two see if we can not get us

on the board some nice finds to start then we'll move on to B of A and then

we'll finish with the leader Wells Fargo last I won't waste your time

on any more chitchat we're gonna get right into it

I've already checked all the boxes to make sure they're all circulated so that

we can make sure we have a good hunt let's kick it off with this roll right

here and see what chase can do Ron rule eight and I'm almost done with the roll

and then I noticed this we've got a wheat penny and pretty good detail on

the back so it's gonna be a 1948 P on the board rule number nine hunting the

role and I see another we di get to reveal 1944 p2 we DS in the last two

rolls roll eleven down a Canadian 1986 it's been a while but we're all 28 and

the last few coins of the rule we've found who we D 1946 D so staying true

clumped right in the mid 40s right here we're all 34 and we've got kind of an

old-looking one here and I think that's a 35

it is 1935 Philadelphia good to see a pre 40s we D in the box and we'd set

number 4 so maybe we can grab a few more before it's done rule 36 and we're gonna

have another wheat penny here and it's reverse side showing so I get to check

it and reveal the date look 57 D wheat penny number 5 rule 42 and we're gonna

have our 6th wheat penny of the box it was facing me and it's a 44 s would have

been nice to see a 1943 copper wouldn't it either way it's another from the

forties 6 in the box all right next we're all we're all 43 we've got another

1942 this time and you know what that's in pretty nice shape

good-looking 42 we'll take it we finished hiding that box of chaste

pennies and you know what we didn't exactly set records here but it was a

good box we did find seven wheat pennies the fine of the box was a 1935

Philadelphia so I'll take that we also found 17 2009 so it's gonna

score some points there we did get a foreign 359 and actually 269 s's neither

was the DD oh of course but this one's in pretty nice shape overall we've been

nice if that would have been a video looks it feels like a second place box

but you never know can be of a outdo this one and give wells-fargo something

to shoot for no until we get into it so let's get into it number three the

bankamerica box and we've already got our first wheat penny which is a good

sign usually and look at this we're kicking off for the 1939 a pretty 40

sweetie to kick us off I'm Bank of America

rule number nine about three pennies deep we found another weedy

and this one's gonna be a 1946 pretty good detail in the back we'll take it

it's actually our second of the box now same roll another wheat penny 44 D so

three Wheaties in the first nine rules none of more than the 50 so far but

nothing really that old still will take three Wheaties in the first nine rolls

that's off to a great start rule number 12 gonna have our fourth

wheat penny of the box and it's a 1954 Philadelphia roll 13 just laid it out

and I think I see the back of a wheat cent we do we penny number 5 was gonna

be another 1944 roll 15 is gonna have wheat penny number 6 1949 we're on rule

20 and I just popped it open and laid them out and this is gonna be a good one

because I think I see a 1940's right there this one looks pretty suspicious

right here that's a weedy there's a 46 right there so at least three wheat

pennies in this row let's take a look yeah 1940s second oldest of the box we

pop this wheat penny up 52 d and then we saw this one in 1946 second of those so

three wheat pennies in that role and since we had so many I'll just take a

quick peek just in case and I don't think I see any more all right so now

we're up to nine wheat pennies already in the first 20

rules rule 22 another wheat penny and it was facing me 1945 d so this box is

producing a lot of 40s Wheaties which you know what I'll take be nice to get a

couple of earlier ones though still not even halfway through the box yet and ten

wheat pennies rule 24 gonna have wheat penny number 11 of the box what years

this one another 40s 1948 Philadelphia rod roll 39 at the be of a box and I

thought the weenie well had dried out this but we finally got another one and

it's a 48 D so another 40s we D witty number 12 in the box

hopefully we can squeeze out a few more for this box is done rule 41 and we're

gonna have our first four and fine to the box and it's gonna be a Canadian

1985 rule 44 is gonna have our lucky 13th wheat penny

I'm hoping it's old by the way it looks probably is or is it just another Warren

40s note but it's a 1920 pretty common as far as the total number minted and

you can find these in the box which it would have been in the teens like a 17

or earlier but we will take it all this other box almost a hundred year old

penny boy I finished hundredth at Bank of America box guys and we did find 13

wheat pennies and that's not bad especially when you can find in 1920 and

a 1939 to wheat pennies below 1940 we'll take him I also pulled out a couple of

other finds here this 1984 has a nice little die chip right between the L and

the I kind of different so I figured I'd pull that out not gonna call it an air

because it's not good enough but it was cool to find we've got an 82 d zinc it's

one of the better ones I have found so I'm gonna see if it upgrades the one in

my book and then we also found a 1969 D which has got some really cool

honestly look at the rainbow effect and it looks better with the naked eye than

it does here but it is pretty sharp looking so I'm keeping that as well

21 2009 s crazy one Canadian 5 1959 s no 69 s or au tight coins in the bunch but

it's going to score a lot of points so definitely beat the chase box Wells

Fargo's got its work cut out for it can it go ahead and win its fourth

consecutive battle round let's find out roll three of the Wells Fargo box at our

first real fight is going to be a foreign it's a Canadian and it's 1979 so

on the board roll 15 to the Wells Fargo box and we're

finally gonna have our first week Penny and it's facing me so I believe it's a

44 nope a 42 with some heavy damage 42p rule number 20 and we're gonna have our

second wait penny and it's an oldie guys I saw it facing me I think it's a 1927

it is pretty worn got some detail on the Left wheat ears but other than that it's

not that bad of shape pretty common though almost hundred and fifty million

of these minted like 144 million minted so but nice it would add a mint mark on

it but we'll take it it's a 20 sweetie in the box let's see if we can find some

more since points out too although we'll take more of the early years for sure

roll 32 and it always feels good to get your third week penny on the Box cuz 3

is my all-time low so when I hit 3 I know I'm not gonna set a new one you

have the good news is a 41 thanks for all overall 33 another wheaty 1944

philadelphia so that's the newest of the box 44 42 41 and 27 maybe we'll find

another couple of oldies in here rule 35 we're gonna have wheat penny number 5 4

right here

19:50 dinger rule 42 gonna have another wheat penny

here and this one's a 1953 s 53 yes newest of the box but Lisa's got an S

mint mark and we now have six wheat pennies

well we finished in that box of Wells Fargo pennies and you know what we ended

up with six Wheaties but we did find in 1927 in the bunch so I'll definitely

take it we also got a 41 42 44 a 50 B and a 53 s on top of that I got a couple

of cool toners this 1963 got some good rainbow Tony and it's actually not in

that bad of shape found another toner look at this crazy

thing 2007 very cool also found a 74 s not in that bad of shape it actually or

not might be better than what I have in my book so I'm gonna take a look at that

25 2009 s crazy this is part of this one while I'm going to update my statute

after this 10 box hunt because I don't want a box the one with a bunch of 2009

s we got a Canadian for 1959 s and we did find ourselves another 69 has to

look at again the hunt continues for the DD oh I don't think this box is gonna

come in first that last bit of a box should beat it but it might edge out the

chase bank box let me get these plugged into the stat sheet make it official and

I'll be right back so he plugged in the data it was a pretty tight race for a

couple of banks so we had a clear winner Wells Fargo had 31 points chase ended

with 29 and a half and the winner after winning the first round and not winning

since then but pulling this last one out was B of a with 44 and a half points and

actually with that box total B of a has now closed the gap on chase for second

place by only 0.4 points still the overall leader right now is Wells Fargo

at forty one point six we've now completed eight rounds of the Penney box

Wells Fargo's leading the way that's a pretty comfortable lead for only two

boxes to go I'll have to see which paint can pull out the last two boxes and if

someone can overtake Wells Fargo as the best Bank box with pennies on this

scoring sheet for the first complete round and yes I'm well aware we grabbed

that epic penny box at B of A and if I included it we'd have a crazy run away

with B of a still those kinds of boxes are few and far between

that being said I'm still excited to keep this series going once we finish

this first ten rounds and announce a winner will change the scoring sheet and

maybe you guys can put some input down below what you think I should score

differently than how I have it up top if you enjoyed this penny box paint battle

round I would appreciate a thumbs up and as always everyone happy hunting and

thanks for watching

Chupacabra Mystery Creature Spotted in the UK - Duration: 4:27.

a strange-looking creature that did not look like a house cat or a dog has been

spotted on at least two occasions running through the back gardens of

homes in st. Albans just north of London England

one local said that the creature looked disoriented and strange

it was my fiance that spotted it in the back of garden she was shocked and

shouted so I came and we both looked at it and then I quickly took a photo of it

he said

another resident said he had seen the creature running down the street and he

managed to capture some clearer photos of it the whipsnade zoo in the area was

unable to identify the creature by photo

many residents were left wondering if it was the elusive Krypto creature at the

British big cat that has been seen all over the UK and is said to not exist

British big cats also called phantom cats and mystery cats are reports and

incidents of felines not native to Britain but supposed to inhabit the

British countryside these sightings are often reported as Panthers Pumas or

black cats

the existence of a population of true big cats in Britain especially a

breeding population is believed to be highly implausible by experts owing to

lack of conviction convincing evidence there has been some incidents of

recovered individual animals often medium sized species such as the

Eurasian Lynx but in one in 1980 case a puma which was captured alive in

Scotland these are generally believed to have been escaped or released pets that

have been held illegally possibly released after the animals became too

difficult to manage

sightings at a distance may possibly be explicable as domestic cats seem near to

a viewer being misinterpreted as larger animals seen farther away

a fringe theory suggests that these animals may be surviving since the ice

age

to an outsider this creature spotted north of London more resembles the

crypto creature Chupacabra that is said to exist and has been spotted in the

u.s. Southwest South Texas Mexico and South America including the Caribbean

islands

although this creature insane Taliban's would be out of its region to be a

chupacabra climate change could be the answer

the chupacabra literally meaning goatsucker physical descriptions very it

is purportedly a heavy creature the size of a large dog with a row of spines

reaching from its neck to the base of the tail many supposed chupacabras that

have been captured alive or dead have turned out to be native animals

with mange or other medical problems it is far more likely that this is to be

the case for the st. Albans mystery creature yet it is not implausible that

this creature could be something that we haven't any knowledge about

The REAL reason Corbyn has been so silent about Iran | It make you so surprised - Duration: 4:19.

PROTESTS in Iran about the regime's economic problems, political repression and appalling corruption are

spreading. More than 20 people have been killed in the country by security forces in less than a

week. About 500 others have been arrested. Given that Iran is a nuclear power which poses a serious threat to the world's stability as

it tightens its fanatical grip on the Middle East, I have scoured all forms of media for a comment on this growing crisis from the man who

likes being described as Britain's next prime minister, Jeremy Corbyn. I cannot find a word he has uttered about

it. Why has Corbyn, the would-be statesman, been so silent? Because he supports

Iran's authoritarian state. Indeed, you might say he is up to his neck in it. Iran hates the West and all it stands for

and wishes death upon British soldiers and others who protect these shores. Despite its abysmal track record in

human rights abuses, Corbyn has shamelessly supported its disgusting system for years. For example, in February 2014 he

spoke at a seminar in London hosted by the Islamic Centre of England celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Islamic revolution in

Iran. He gave a speech simply titled 'The Case for

Iran'. It was the true Jeremy Corbyn speaking that day, the scruffy backbench

nobody who never expected to be Labour leader and would peddle his ridiculous student politics to anyone who would

listen. It was not the man you see before you today, who has become so adept at switching

masks to suit the occasion. When not accepting Iran's money (£20,000 in fees for appearing five times on Press

TV, an Iranian state-funded broadcast network), Corbyn is not averse to attending functions backed by those who support its twisted

aims. Take his very public appearance in December 2016 at a book reading in London by an

author called Hatem Bazian, a man who has never tried to conceal his hardline attitude towards

"Zionists". This event was held in conjunction with the Islamic Human Rights Commission

(IHRC). It should come as no surprise that the IHRC - which also

organises the annual anti-Israel Al-Quds Day demonstration in London, a protest attended by all sorts of Muslim extremists - has

been described as a "despicable organisation" by the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Corbyn presents himself to the

electorate as gentle Jeremy, a nice 68-year-old man who does nothing but good. He wants to be seen as an

unprejudiced and peace-loving individual fighting the good fight for the working class, the oppressed, and all

minorities. And yet when you consider his support for Iran and all it stands for, his claims of

tolerance evaporate. It is not remotely credible that he can on the one hand claim to be both pro-gay

rights while accepting hard cash from a power which murders people for being

gay. For some extraordinary reason which nobody has yet managed to unravel,

however, Corbyn has got this far without anybody in Britain sitting him down and forcing him to explain himself

publicly. Imagine how a Conservative or UKIP politician would be treated by the

Press – or the BBC - if they held views like Corbyn's on

Iran. We all know that they would be hounded out of office, and rightly

so. We cannot be content to have as leader of one of our major political parties a

man who appears to support and associate with vile extremists. I would urge everybody to think about this

very carefully, before we sleepwalk into a nightmare and it is too

late.

A hut built yesterday

I dig a stone

Coal is buried

I need Wood

I will make stick

You can make Stone Pickaxe with Stick and Cobblestone

There is an ore that can only be digged with Stone Pickaxe

The speed of digging also changes

Let's dig it right away

I dug 16 coals

We will also use Minecraft's Furnace system again this time

There is only that way to get Iron ingot

If you make Flint and Steel you will be able to express it primitive

There was Gravel

I got Flint

Let's go get the Iron ingot

That's all there is to it

I found a small cave

it's dark

I found a iron

I cut it because it was too dark

I will also use the Minecraft Furnace system to get Iron ingot

It is regrettable that fire is not primitive

If you get Flint and Steel you will not have any problems

I finished melting stones

Finally make it

Let's burn the tree for testing

Let's wait for the sunset

Let's prepare

Ignite it

It is a good feeling

I can burn dirt and clay next time

Let's look at the fire
