Youtube daily Jan 8 2019

Republican senator Lindsey Graham has been having a hissy fit over the last few days

about the fact that Democrats will not negotiate with Republicans and give them the money that

they want for the border wall so that maybe eventually we can reopen the federal government

on Sunday on CBS Face the Nation.

Lindsey Graham ended up having a white hot melt down on the air that I am not going to

subject you to, but if you want to check it out, there is a video in the description a,

you'll find the link down there.

But nonetheless, let me tell you what Lindsey Graham said, and this was prior to the big

meltdown that he had, um, it was the Democrats in the negotiations that they had over the

weekend.

And I guess building up to that point as well are just too damn crazy.

They're too crazy.

Now he says he wants to negotiate with Democrats and he's sure Republicans will negotiate with

Democrats, but first they have to find a democrat who's not crazy.

Those are the words that came out of Lindsey Graham's mouth.

We're going to find a democrat who's not crazy.

Now Lindsey, I know you love the idea of a border wall.

Hell, I think actually during the Republican debates, before the primaries even began in

2016, um, I think you might've been the one to actually introduced the idea of a wall

before Donald Trump did.

This is something you've actually built part of your career on long before Trump's political

ambitions even existed.

So I know this issue is near and dear to you.

Unfortunately it's not near and dear to the majority of people in the United States.

Republicans ran on the wall in the midterms and you guys got crushed.

Look at polling data right now.

Majority of people in this country would rather see that $5,000,000,000 spent on quite literally

anything other than a wall.

Majority of people in polls also say they just flat out don't want the wall.

The government's own agencies have released statistics that actually show us that a wall

would be completely ineffective to do all the things that Donald Trump is trying to

tell us.

The wall would in fact do.

It is unnecessary.

It is useless.

It is a waste of money.

And the majority of people in this country actually agree with the Democrats right now.

The people are turning on you.

So let me ask you this question, Lindsay, who's the real crazy ones here?

Is it the people who just one massive victories in the midterms and they're upholding the

will of the American public and trying to reopen the government?

Or is it the crazy old white guy who's screaming at people on CBS telling them that other people

are in fact crazy?

Lindsey, if you want to see, you need to go back into that dressing room at CBS and go

look in that big mirror that they have sitting there waiting for you because that's one of

the craziest people you're ever going to see.

Reach More Viewers with Captions ft. Jessica Kellgren-Fozard - Duration: 5:56.

When your video is easy to understand, it's also easy to share.

In this video, I'll be talking to you

about the huge number of potential subscribers you might be missing out on

and how, with just minimal effort

you can tap into YouTube's algorithm to reach them.

I'm Jessica Kellgren-Fozard and I'm a deaf YouTuber.

I make videos about fashion, travel, gayness, and disability awareness

all with a very fun and positive vintage style.

What is the number 1 thing that creators don't realise about captions?

Well, stick around, because in this video, I'm going to tell you.

I started to go deaf when I was 15 and I know I don't sound deaf.

I even made a video about it that went viral.

Because I went deaf later in life, I use English as my first language

relying on lip-reading and captions with a smattering of sign language

especially for work stuff

in order to understand the world.

Having hearing aids doesn't actually mean I can hear what's going on in a video

so I always have to click that little CC button.

Captioning is a process of displaying text on a screen.

Be that a video screen, a television or some other kind of visual display

in order to provide additional or interpretative information.

Open captions, like the ones you see in the cinema

cannot be turned on or off by the viewer

but closed captions, which is the ones you'll find in a YouTube video, can be.

Quick note: captions and subtitles are 2 distinct but overlapping things.

Captions assume that the viewer cannot hear everything

and so provide additional information

and subtitles assume the viewer can hear, but speaks another language.

This is different in the UK, where they're both called subtitles

but just run with it.

Captions contain information about speaker changes

and also background sounds that can enhance the story.

While captions ensure accessibility for people who have hearing loss

they're also useful in a wide range of other situations.

Say you're hearing, but you're in a really noisy environment, like a gym

but you still want to watch your YouTube

or you're in a sound-sensitive environment like a hospital.

The captions will ensure that you can still have the fullest experience.

And, of course, if your viewer has English as a second language.

In my personal experience, I've seen that videos with captions and subtitles

have a great increase in views.

Look, here are my top 10 videos in terms of views.

Now, they all have captions in English

and most of them have subtitle files in at least 3 other languages.

Indeed, the majority of social media users now choose to keep their phones on silent

and watch auto-playing videos with text on screen on many platforms.

It's important that your videos don't get left behind.

It's my hand-phone.

Even though your ears are capable of picking up on many, many different words

your brain doesn't necessarily process them all.

Most people only remember about 17 to 25% of the things that they hear.

So if you want to get your message across, it's captions that will make the difference.

Reaching new audiences is the cornerstone of social media success.

I mean, let's be honest here, come on, sometimes it really is all about the numbers.

But exactly how large an audience are you actually missing out on?

Well, let's talk demographics.

Straight in with the easy one, hearing loss.

Over 5% of the world's population has hearing loss.

That is 466 million people.

In the United States, the number is 38 million people

with some degree of hearing loss.

That's astounding.

There are also a variety of disabilities

that mean people might struggle to watch a video without captions

from attention disorders to processing difficulties.

Moving on to the next, and arguably largest, group

people learning your language.

Captions in English are easier to follow than just spoken English

and they can help those watching to pick up the language faster.

80% of the views on YouTube come from outside the US.

Over 2 billion of the online population

have a first language that is something other than English.

2 billion.

I mean, you do not want to be missing out on those potential subscribers.

Amazingly, YouTube has an in-built function which will allow the translation

of English caption files into a variety of other languages

opening up your video content to audiences around the world.

In terms of search, discovery, and engagement

captions are one of the most powerful pieces of data out there.

The Internet is text-based, so your video is going to stay hidden from search engines

unless the text that is attached to it can be picked up.

It can be hard to get across the essence of your video

in just a title and description, even tags have a character limit.

But a closed-caption file delivers a text-based transcript of your entire video

and opens it up to search engines.

More views will mean more likes, more comments

more people hitting the Subscribe button

plus, text on screen has proven to be so engaging

that it increases the watch to completion rate.

These 2 factors lead to a monumental gain in SEO ranking and engagement.

I hope you now understand just how important captions are

to you as a creator, and your viewers.

Click through to video 2, where I'll be showing you

exactly how to make those captions.

And if you have more questions about captions and how to use them

The Story of a Scientist's Spiritual Research | Ask the Kabbalist with Dr. Michael Laitman - Duration: 3:09.

You used to be a scientist.

Can you tell us a little bit about the process that you went through when you began to research

your soul?

From the question about what is the meaning of life, I came to my first profession which

is bio-cybernetics.

It's about the systems of the human body.

I thought that through this I would be able to more deeply understand.

No one studies about the soul directly, but through the body's systems maybe it's

possible to reach this.

This is how I went to university.

This is what I studied.

I graduated from the university in the 1970s and I saw that I had no idea what the soul

is.

And I kept on searching until I found my teacher nine years later.

Only in 1979 did I find my teacher, and I studied with him until 1991 when he passed

away, and then I continued on my own.

I found groups of students all around the world, and a big site, so that anyone who'd

like to study and yearns for it the way I did could do it more easily.

How did the skepticism that comes with scientific research align with your spiritual search?

I didn't relate it to spirituality.

I simply understood that people are limited by their five senses

and they examine everything according to instruments that they built for these five senses, according

to these five senses.

If I want to talk about something else which is beyond the five senses--because we ourselves

limit the universe, nature in and by our five senses--but it's incorrect.

How can I know that's all there is, if I'll have additional senses.

And then I started looking.

How is it really possible to develop our senses and discover new senses in order to discover

a broader world this way, until I discovered that this is actually what the wisdom of Kabbalah

is about.

What does that mean?

Did you discover a new sense?

This is actually what we call the soul, what we talked about.

This new sense is called the soul.

It's a sense in which I see everything the way it is outside of me, not inside of me,

but because it's based not on the method of reception, but on the method of bestowal,

the soul.

You mean that it's above self-interest?

Outside of the desire to receive pleasure, the desire to receive, to know, the desire

for everything.

Everything that I have, I have to rise above it, and then I discover what's outside of

me.

And there's a method here that helps you do this gradually, right?

Absolutely.

And in our times it's open for everyone.

I Am A Steward Season 1 – Chef Chew – Steward of My Talents - Duration: 3:44.

I was actually adopted when I was three weeks old by an amazing family.

Actually I was a country boy. I grew up in Southern Maryland. In this environment

was hard-working people. And they taught me work ethic. And you know we loved to eat.

I got a love cooking and love of food at that time. My mother's side of the family

was actually Seventh-day Adventist. When I was about third grade I started going to church.

To the Seventh-day Adventist Church. And and me being a heavy meat eater on my

mother's side of the family was actually a vegetarian. So I got exposed to eating

healthy and you know these Adventist values of keeping the Sabbath.

That was pretty amazing. And so from there when I actually became in 12th grade I actually

was a track runner. I got a full scholarship to run track. Right after I

signed my scholarship, I knew about the Sabbath, and my leg actually broke in a race.

This was a life-changing event for me. And by breaking my leg actually the Holy

Spirit beginning to speak to me and I decided to give up a full scholarship.

School was paid for. I decided to give up a scholarship. And the Holy Spirit began to

let me know that He had a different calling a different race that He wanted

me to run. And eventually within a year and a half I literally became a missionary.

And my name Chew, again I was adopted into this family by the name of Chew

I realized I had a gift in cooking. And so I called myself Chef Chew.

As I like to say 'I always say gonna give you something to chew on.'

And I began at that time in like 2002-2003 developing my first food products.

And we had something called crunchy bunch of granola.

We say 'we don't box but we have a granola that will knock you out.'

And we actually make a plant protein.

It looks like chicken. It tastes like chicken. But guess what? It ain't chicken.

Its crispy on the outside and it's white in the middle.

Oh it's delicious and it's gonna be hopefully one day in the stories near you.

So this model of selling food to our community

became an inroads, or an entering wedge, to be able to reach our community.

We recognize that using food as a tool to be able to win a friendship

was actually more effective way than just asking someone for a Bible study.

And so we use this food as a way to make friends to be able to build relationships.

And this became my life work, became the calling, of bridging food

into an actual ministry. Eventually in 2008 I started my first restaurant

called Eating to Live. It was an amazing opportunity. I did it in my hometown in

Southern Maryland. A community that was heavy meat eaters. And here I am starting

a vegan restaurant. We're starting a church plant in the City of Oakland

utilizing again a restaurant as a means to build relationships within the community.

We're finding that people love healthy food and we're living in a time

people are wanting to go plant-based they're wanting to eat healthier. We've never

seen such a surge of people wanting to transform their lifestyles. And so we're

actually providing a solution. We do cooking classes for our community. We're

actually just mentoring youth. Showing them better ways of living. Better ways

of eating and also just being a friend. And right now we are actually in the

process of having Bible studies with people within the community. This is amazing to see

what God can do when you use your gifts and your talents to reach souls.

I've been able to see God use my gifts my talents and allow me to use it

for His service. And we're praying that through this we can lead many souls to

understanding of our Savior Jesus Christ.

So I'm a steward because God is the best business partner you can ever have.

Caynug talking about "Outlive The Bruises" lyrics, emotion, gear and thoughts [Behind The Scenes] - Duration: 9:03.

you learn something by failing and that's good so in the end can you call

it failing you never fail, you fail when you don't try, you fail when you

give up that's failing when you say ok it didn't work out I stop. If you stop

you fail just... hey Caynug here, I wanted to talk a little bit about my album

mental junkyard, a little bit behind the scenes, behind the single songs the lyric

what it means how I recorded it all and whatever the hell I did what the hell I

thought about behind the scenes of the songs that you can hear today. Let's get

started! The lyrical meaning, lyrical meaning of outlive the bruises. When I

sing placing dreams before me

what I mean by that is something that I often do when talking about things of

passion or things I love very dearly what I do is I talk about those things

in a very high enthusiastic manner very hyped up and like I'm getting it we're

doing it I love it. Anyways that's what I do and I place these dreams that I have

before me like as if they are more important than my own well-being because

I care so much for those dreams and I live for those dreams mostly. Well it goes

hand in hand my dreams are my well-being in the end but that's just a feeling

I have when I talk about it and sing about it. Afterwards after the

placing dreams before me I talk about as if they're easy to obtain and with that

what I wanted to say is I have those hard to reach dreams those types dreams

that aren't that easy to reach and I place them before me because they're so

important to me and I talk so enthusiastically about them

as if they are easy to obtain

well everybody around me sees me talking about my dreams and the things that I

want to reach and achieve and is affected by it a little bit and the next

time I come around I have more to talk about because I reached single

steps milestones to get to my dream and it seems as if they are easy to obtain

those dreams for others it often seems like I'm just I'm breathing this music

thing and I'm breathing everything and everything that I achieved nowadays was

easy for me but it wasn't, it never was I just talk about them as if they

are easy to obtain and that's how I live my life I live my life as if

those dreams and things I want to accomplish in my life

as if they are reachable and as if they are easy to get because

because I put such a high importance on those things that I reach those things

in the end because I never give up I just do and I keep saying to myself you

can do it and just by doing that it seems for everybody and myself that it's

sometimes very easy to reach those dreams you just need to start that's

all you need to to get to that mindset just start things. If you really are

serious about it you should put that infront. after that part I'm talking about

keeping me striving day after day that explains itself kind of. What I

say right there is it keeps me alive, keeps me breathing keeps me going like it's

fire it's constantly pushing, pushing myself further. I want to go to the next

milestone to the next milestone because it gets addicting and you realize oh

my god you can change more in this world than you thought you can, you can change more about

your own world than you ever thought and with milestones, not even reaching your

initial dream but with milestones to that dream, you kind of see how things

get shaped (thats the way to your goal...) in the end I'm saying "hoping my work is

not in vain" that was a mindset I had in a time of uncertainity

which I had about the dreams, the whole music thing was so hard on my

soul so hard on my emotions and I was always thinking, well not always

but there was a time when I wrote that song and I wasn't sure if this is the

right road to take the right way to go I was just hoping that this way in life

that I go with all the time im committing to this, that this work that I'm putting

in dream, in this life that I'm doing (that I'm living) that it's not in vain

it's not for nothing. Nowadays like right now I know it's never for nothing

because every thing you do even if it doesn't does not give you anything you

you still get further because this needed to happen for your life to be

like it is right now, do you want your life to be at this place where it is right

now? You question yourself and think about if this is the

right path that I'm taking and there is no failure there is no losing there is

no, no you can't lose by choosing a direction or doing something because

whatever you do you go further, you go forward even if it's a dead end

there are some things you take away from it all that have a positive effect on

you and it shapes you and you need to fail to get somewhere. Everybody fails

that's the most normal thing ever and and you learn something by failing and

that's good so in the end can you call it failing you never fail, you fail when

you don't try you fail when you give up that's failing when you say okay

it didn't work out I stop, if you stop you fail. Just well yeah that's

the thought process there I wasn't sure, now I'm sure nowadays like right now

I'm very sure what I'm doing and this is right, for me this is right yeah

that's the lyrical meaning. Was recorded all using my guitar, I used

this one the PRS that that's been around me forever for forever, I recorded

first record with that guitar and

there's not much to it I was using an open tuning with thick ass strings

downtuned to about an octave below and sometimes I mix up the tunings to some

unofficial open tuning that I used on my acoustic guitar and then that inspired

me to retune my baritone guitar just to get some new new type of sound and some

some new type of feel and mostly when I retune my guitar to some open

tuning or to some experimental tuning I simply used it for one song probably or

two songs and then I change it up that tuning actually is on on outlive the

bruises, I wish I still knew you and meet with triumph and disaster. Writing out-

live the bruises was kind of interesting I don't try to force myself into a mindset

into a feeling into something specific I grab my guitar mostly I jam

something out get the base of an idea the lyrics came at the end I was closing

myself in thinking about what do you want to talk about what what do you feel

right now and what does the sound of the song give you

☯ Экспресс-преображение, или Маска для лица "Свидание во французском стиле" компании TianDe - Duration: 5:28.

Hello!

With you is Larisa Levinskaya again.

And precisely today

on a sunny, sunny January day

I decided to record a video

about the mask. Therefore, I am without makeup.

At the moment.

A video will be devoted to the mask of the series "In Top".

This is the youth series of the company TianDe.

Mask is called

"Date in the French style."

Why do you want to record this video on a fine day,

in sunny because during normal

natural light

better will be the effect of applying the mask.

Although this is a youth series,

25+, but if you are already 35+,

if you are 55+

and so on... you can still use this mask.

She, of course, will not give you a pronounced anti-aging effect,

but it will refresh your face perfectly,

relieve fatigue,

eliminate flaking

will have an antioxidant effect

also even out your skin tone.

And this mask can be used.

both in the morning and in the evening.

That is, at any time convenient to you.

In the morning she will help to remove signs of fatigue,

if you didn't get enough sleep,

improve the elasticity of your skin,

evens out skin tone, that is, prepare it for applying makeup.

In the evening, this mask has a calming effect.

It will also give your skin a glow.

In principle, you will replace the use of night cream.

As you already guess this mask is dummy.

We use only once, no savings!

Because dummy masks and give the skin useful ingredients,

and take toxins and other negative components that

exist on our skin.

Just a few words about the active components of this mask.

that make your skin look more rested,

more fresh. One of the components of this mask

This is an ice fungus extract.

or tremella extract.

Ice fungus extract - a source of polysaccharides,

which retain moisture in our skin.

Also included in this mask

aloe, aloe extract. And we all know that aloe extract

This is a great skin moisturizer.

In this case, since we are talking about young skin,

aloe also helps in deep, gentle cleansing

since then Component such as sodium hyaluronate

helps to retain moisture in the skin cells

and protects against aggressive environmental influences.

Such a component of the mask as portulaca extract.

It has a soothing, smoothing

action, antibacterial action.

Such a difficult to pronounce component as tocopherol nicotinate.

It has a rejuvenating effect.

and provides antioxidant protection

our skin

prevents premature aging.

So, I listed the main components of this mask.

Now proceed directly to the use of this mask.

I will remind again

how do we prepare the skin

for applying masks.

Preferably very desirable

if you haven't used peeling this week,

first you peel the face.

I used the SPA-technology milk peeling series.

I pre wash my face

gel for washing

or milk for washing.

Then I rub my face with a tonic.

and cotton pads.

After the skin is dry

apply peeling, massage, avoid skin around the eyes

and wash off. Then again, I wash my face with gel.

and tonic with tonic.

Only after that can I say that

Yes, my skin is prepared

to the application of this mask.

So what am I doing. I open the package

with mask. Sodium hyaluronate is still present.

This mask is not just a fabric, it is based on

on thin film

from which we will get rid of.

The mask is super thin.

So we remove this film,

which will only disturb us.

You see, it consists of two elements.

Remove from the side and put a mask.

Starting from the top of the face.

Although the mask was in my room,

it still feels pleasant light coolness.

We distribute the mask gently across the face.

So that the air does not fall between the skin and the surface of the mask.

We provide the most comfortable use.

Here, actually, and everything, I distributed this mask on the face.

Now I leave you for 15-20 minutes,

take a horizontal position, then I will return to you.

I'll tell you about my feelings and compare the effect after applying this mask.

Stay with me!

So this is me again!

It took exactly 20 minutes

and it's time to take off the mask.

I will tell briefly about my feelings.

Of course, there were no such pronounced tingling

when it comes to the use of anti-aging masks,

but nevertheless I feel that the mask is working.

some processes were quite pleasant.

It was comfortable to lie with this mask.

I even felt that I had a little nap.

So, I take off this mask.

We start from the top.

The mask is really super thin.

They are usually slightly denser masks

by its texture.

Ruthlessly throwing away

used mask!

And for the most economical I want to say that

liquid medium remained in this mask

it is also very useful for our skin,

so take the sponge

soak in this liquid medium

and put it on your face

to use this mask to the maximum!

I can only rinse my face with water.

I will do this directly myself.

I hope you noticed the difference.

after applying this mask.

My face is BEFORE and my face is AFTER.

Be always beautiful, be always desired!

Use the French Date Date Mask

TianDe company.

before any upcoming moment of your life.

Be a business date, love date

or just an important meeting!

Put likes, subscribe to the channel!

And you will always know the answers.

to various questions
