Trump's Tweets Might Be Used Against Him In Court - Duration: 5:11.
We're just a few days away at this point from another government shutdown as nobody's been
able to come up with a plan to keep Donald Trump happy because he wants his border wall.
He wants his billions of dollars for it, and the Democrats say, no, this is a horrible
plan.
The public doesn't want it.
It's a waste of money.
We're not going to do it, and the Democrats are in the right on this particular issue.
They are correct.
We do not need it.
It is a waste of money.
Nonetheless, Donald Trump understands that he ran on this issue.
People like Ann Coulter gonna keep calling him out on it, and so he's going to have to
do something, and if the Democrats never cave on this issue and I hope they never do, it's
eventually probably going to lead to Donald Trump declaring a national emergency, which
he again hinted at as recently as last week during his State of the Union address.
So Trump is still saying he might declare a national emergency in order to secure the
funding necessary for his wall.
Well, here's where things get a little tricky and I've explained how the national emergency
funding thing works in videos in the past.
But here's another part of it.
Obviously, if Trump declares a national emergency for a nonexistent emergency, an emergency
that would require the administration to use eminent domain to take control of land along
the border, land owned by private owners, uh, so they have to use eminent domain to
take these people's lands away from them.
Um, the money that would be going to pay for all of this would be diverted from other funds,
so states get harmed that way.
Um, and eventually all of this is going to be challenged in court and you know, what
exhibit a is going to be for any trial, whether it's for the eminent domain law suits that
are inevitable, whether it's for the state law suits against Trump that are inevitable.
Exhibit a is going to be donald Trump's own Twitter feed.
The Washington Post recently did a phenomenal story explaining how Donald Trump's personal
Twitter feed can actually be used against him in a court of law.
Because after all, they have already determined and said that any tweet sent out by Donald
Trump, even on his own personal Twitter, these are presidential statements, presidential
declarations, and so that means every time Trump has gone out there on on public in Twitter
to lie to us about the need for a wall, those can be used by the prosecution.
Those can be used by the attorneys trying to stop the imminent domain or the diversion
of funds or the entire creation of the wall itself because Trump has lied repeatedly about
this particular issue.
He said that we have the people coming over bound and gagged with tape over their mouths
in the trunk of cars because apparently he had watched and taken that day.
He has said that coyotes are also coming across with some of these bad people and bad are
bringing the coyotes whether, well, whatever the hell that means.
That's also not true.
The lies coming from his Twitter feed about the need for the border wall are absolutely
endless and the lawyers are going to have a field day showing that Donald Trump knows
there isn't a national emergency.
He's only doing this for political reasons and therefore the national, uh, uh, emergencies,
act, national emergency powers that he has should not apply to this particular situation.
And here's the thing.
I know Trump has remade a lot of the court systems as Republicans tend to do.
They appoint conservative judges because Democrats actually ignore that crap for some reason.
It's going to be difficult for even them to uphold this though because there is incontrovertible
proof that Donald Trump is using the wall as a political tool rather than as an actual
solution to a real national emergency.
Any talented lawyer or even half talented lawyer in this country, we would be able to
win that case and Trump, because of his big mouth, because of his love of Twitter and
is nonstop executive time has already destroyed his own case, his own defense on this issue
because he can't stay quiet long enough to not tweet out something stupid.
And here's the best part.
It's not just about the border wall, it's about everything.
He's tweeted out, obstruction of justice that we know Miller has gone through his Twitter
feed.
He has tweeted out threats.
He has tweeted out witness tampering his own Twitter feed eventually, whether it's through
policy or through the criminal investigations, Trump's own Twitter feed might be what finally
takes him down.

Lena Headey & Nick Frost on 'Game of Thrones' & 'Fighting with My Family' | MTV News | #Sundance - Duration: 7:07.
- Have you ever gone up for the same role?
Has that ever happened?
- I went up for Cersei, yeah.
- Yeah, it happens quite a lot.
- I got a second call back and then Lena got it.
- Yeah.
- What was your interpretation of Cersei gonna be like?
- Just like Cockney.
Big fat Cockney guy that sells fruit and veg.
- This might be the first film that involves
The Rock that could make people cry, I noticed.
I got a little teary-eyed.
- I cried when I saw it, I have to say.
I was like up and cheering at the end.
Yeah, it made me cry.
- I cried at "Scorpion King,"
so it's not the first Rock film that made me cry.
- Any particular moment?
- Just most of it.
Yeah, I cried a little bit during this too.
I was on my own in a screening room
with people from the production company, crying.
- So most important question
is who became better friends with Dwayne Johnson?
- I've never met Dwayne Johnson.
I'm nervous about it, I'm nervous.
- You wanna play it cool.
- Yeah, I wanna play it cool.
- Yeah.
What do you want out of the relationship going forward?
- I just want him to love me.
I just want him to love me.
And I just wanna say, why haven't I got a role in Jumanji 2?
- It hasn't started filming yet.
- I know, I've just seen a lot of people cast
and I think oh, I could've probably done that.
For a lot less money.
- What about you, Lena?
Do you harbor these secret dreams of working
and becoming friends with-
- They're not secret.
I'm gonna come out with it when I meet him finally.
- Well now you have competition,
'cause this guy's bringing all his powers to bear.
- I don't think we'll trouble each others-
- Same role.
- No.
That'd be odd, wouldn't it?
- Have you ever gone up for the same role?
Has that ever happened?
- I went out for Cersei, yeah.
- It happens quite a lot.
- I went out for ...
- What was your audition? - You got quite far.
- I did, I did.
I got a second call back and then Lena got it.
- What was your interpretation of Cersei gonna be like?
- Just like Cockney.
Big fat Cockney guy that sells fruit and veg.
- It would've been a different way to go.
- I tried to bring a bit of that in, but I couldn't ...
- Yeah, I noticed that.
- There no wrong answer.
- Is there newfound respect,
renewed respect for wrestling out of this film?
I don't count myself.
I didn't grow up watching professional wrestling,
but I feel like this is gonna work for both audiences,
the die hards and those that are just kinda casual fans.
- When we did that first fight,
we sort of practiced, and it's brutal like.
They're proper athletes.
I don't think I knew that before.
Sort of jumping in and going, oh this is properly hard
and you can hurt yourself.
- Seriously, yeah.
What about for you, Nick?
- Yeah, I've been a big fan of wrestling for many years.
You know, from a child really.
I've done some backyard wrestling
and I broke my thumb really badly wrestling once.
- That's not funny.
- I did a power bomb on a man and as I stood up,
I noticed that my thumb was hanging off.
- That's not a good thing.
- Not good, it's not a good thing.
- What's a power bomb?
- It's essentially where you put their legs
over your shoulders and then the two of you jump
and you slam them down.
And I did that.
I did that onto my bed
and it broke my bed into about 50 pieces.
There was no sexual element to this.
It was just me and another guy wrestling on my bed.
- The power bomb is no longer part of your repertoire?
- No, not anymore.
But yeah, I broke my thumb really badly.
I've always loved wrestling, you know.
Kane, The Undertaker, Paul Bearer.
What a weird, creepy little man he was.
So to kind of finally end up doing a film
where I don't meet The Rock was amazing.
- Checks all the boxes. - It was a honor.
I'd like to do a film
where I don't meet Stone Cold Steve Austin.
That's my next aim.
- Right, right, right.
You both transformed for this one.
I mean, every actor in this one transformed.
- Did we? - I think so.
- I look exactly the same.
- No, the hair is ...
Come on, let's talk hair.
Was that enjoyable?
How did the friends and family enjoy your mohawk?
- Um, you always say yes to these things
and then you don't realize you've gotta look
like that for four months.
So yeah, I had a mohawk for four months.
It's fine when you have to wear a hat,
but then when you have to do the school run and stuff,
you look like a horrible ...
- You looked amazing with that mohawk.
- Is this Sundance experience, have you guys been before?
- Never. - Never.
- What?
- This is it.
Nick's suffering.
- Honest to god, I hate it.
I'm not good with altitude.
I think we're at like seven and a half thousand feet,
and spent the night thinking I was gonna die.
So yeah, lovin' it.
All that and I still didn't get a chance to meet The Rock.
- You're gonna make it though.
- God, I hope so.
Fingers crossed.
- Hang on in there.
- Let's have a look at a clip.
- Nope, that's not what we do.
No, no, no, no.
- Well it's there for the edit if you need it.
- Lena, have you told Nick about how "Game of Thrones" ends?
- Yes, he knows.
He was the first person I rang, yeah.
- What was your take on how it ends?
- I was thrilled.
I think all things must end and why not this?
We're all sick of it now.
- It's boring now.
Stop it.
- You know, the blond one with the dragons is
in King's Landing,
it's like well, that's it now.
Waited for that for seven years, now it's happened.
- Seems futile to try a semi-serious question,
but I'm gonna try.
Lena, were you surprised how it all ended up?
I talked to Kit recently
and he was saying that the expectations are so high
that it's like gonna be hard to kind of live up
to what they imagine.
- Yeah, but it will.
- [Josh] Will it?
- Yeah, for sure.
- What was your emotion reading the final script?
- We had a massive readthrough with all of us.
It was quite emotional to say goodbye to everyone.
It's been nine years,
but I can't say anymore than that.
Can't say how I felt.
- Can you say who cried the most?
Besides Nick, we know Nick was crying.
- Nick was crying, yeah.
I'd say Kit cried the most.
- [Josh] Really?
- Yeah. - Emotional that way.
- He's really over emotional.
- I'm also very excited to hear
that your friend and collaborator, Edgar, has a new script.
Edgar Wright.
- Yep.
- Have you read it, are you involved?
- No, probably not.
Yeah, I mean after the success of "Baby Driver,"
I think it's proved that he just doesn't need us.
- Right, you guys were holding him back?
- Yeah.
Yeah, and I get that, I understand.
I understand that.
- Both Edgar and Simon have been in Star Wars films now.
- Has Edgar?
- Edgar had a cameo, I think, in "Rogue One."
- Oh, right.
- So.
I think you know where this is going.
- Um, yeah.
If they wanted me to do something, I'd do it.
- Wow, you really played it cool on that one.
- Well, I don't know.
I mean, I like watching them.
- [Josh] Okay.
- I don't necessarily like watching something ...
I don't want to be that,
even though I've been moaning about Jumanji 2.
I don't want to be the actor that kinda uses this platform
as a way to get more work.
- Well, I don't know.
- You know, I like ...
Unless they do like something called
The Young Jabba Chronicles,
and then I think I'd probably
be one of the first people they ring.
'Cause they can't afford James Corden.
- You're on fire this morning.
- Who knew lack of oxygen made me funnier?
I think I've never been this close to death
and in being in that place, it's opened me up artistically.

I Was Left Home Alone | Horror Story | Ft. Demon Core - Duration: 5:22.
This happened 10 years ago.
I was just 9 years old at the time.
We were renting a pretty big house back then right on the beach.
The house had 3 storeys.
At the bottom it was the 4 garages, the offices, a flatlet, the front door and also an elevator
that went up all the way to the 3rd floor.
On the second floor it was the kitchen, laundry room, tv room, family bathroom, massive dining
and living room with beautiful 180 degree view of the sea.
Then on the third floor it was 4 bedrooms, 2 with en-suites and another bathroom and
this awesome gaming room with a swimming pool.
I absolutely loved living there even if the house did not belong to us.
I was only 9 and did not fully comprehend the concept of renting and owning.
I was home alone one night.
I had an athletics competition in the day and did not hydrate properly so I had a pretty
bad headache.
I did not want my parents and sister to cancel their plans so they still went out for dinner.
I decided to listen to some music, but when that got too bad I put out all the lights
and climbed into bed.
Hoping that when I woke up I would feel all better.
That was not the case though.
I woke up suddenly.
What would have woke me up I thought to myself.
Figuring it was nothing I tried to go back to sleep.
A massive banging noise came from downstairs before I could though.
I could immediately tell it came from the front door.
Angry yelling ensued.
It sounded like two men trying to break into the front door.
They were yelling to be let it, but something was off about their voices.
I could not figure out what though.
Why they were screaming was something else that confused me.
Surely if you are going to break in you would be trying to stay as quite as possible.
I looked for my phone.
I was tempted to call the police, but realized it was no use as the station was very far
away and they were awful.
It was a small town and nothing ever happened so the officers were never ready for incase
something does.
Instead I called my dad.
Trying my best to stay calm so he could understand everything.
Luckily he did and said they were on their way.
Next to the steps there were a massive gate so no one could get up there so I did not
worry too much, but I was 9 and it was still pretty traumatic.
I screamed when I heard the door give way.
I rushed to the gate to make sure it was locked and thank goodness it was.
I went to sit in my bedroom doorway.
Pretty much out of sight, but I still wanted to hear when my dad came.
I then heard the elevator door open on the ground floor.
It then hit me.
They can come up the elevator and then they don't have to get through the gate.
I had no idea where the key was to lock the elevator, and since it was already open it
meant it was too late.
I ran towards the pool table and jumped under it.
The elevator door then opened and the two guys got out.
They were slurring over their words and I could not make everything out.
They were talking about how this was a bad hotel and how they just wanted to find their
room.
I stayed hidden even when I heard a door close.
I kept waiting for my dad to come.
I was also really hoping he would have brought the security guards that patrols the estate
along.
Although I thought they were pretty rubbish too as they did not hear these two guys.
Luckily my dad did just that.
It was only a few minutes later that my dad in the security guards arrived.
I slid out under the pool table and told them where the two guys were.
It turns out the two guys were not thieves at all.
They were just really drunk and lost.
They were staying at the hotel next to our house and simply knocked on the wrong door.
It still kinda makes me scared thinking that if they were so drunk and if they had found
me, they could have done horrible things if they had ill intentions.
