Wandersong - REVIEW (Nintendo Switch) - Duration: 6:20.
Wandersong is a "musical adventure game" about a bard going around and trying to solve
problems by flipping standard video game conventions on their head and using singing, not fighting
or violence, to do this.
Many times throughout the game, Wandersong pokes fun at this idea such as at the start
by offering the player a sword in a dream.
While spinning the sword around, it's quickly clear that violence is not meant for the bard
and that he will have to solve problems in a different way.
During this dream encounter, a messenger lets you know the world, heck even the whole universe,
is ending to pave the way for a new one, but there is a chance to save existence by finding
out the EARTH SONG and singing it to the goddess Eya.
But this Earth Song isn't in one piece, a part of the Earth Song has to be discovered
in each act from that area's OVERSEER.
And to get to that act's OVERSEER, you have to find a song first, usually by solving a
problem of act's town.
While that formula SOUNDS simple, the length and complexity of each act grows as the game
progresses, and each with its own unique twists.
For such a happy looking game, the threat of the end of the universe add depth and weight
to the STORY.
At a glance, you might think or assume Wandersong with its music note wheel requires memorization
of songs and perfect timing but it is not about those things!
Notes are shown and repeated for you in long sequences, and other times when you have to
copy a pattern, it's only three notes.
Using the note wheel is done with the right analog stick and the game is surprisingly
forgiving when going between notes to smear over ones in the middle.
Yes, you can be musically and rhythm challenged like myself and get by just fine as timing
when repeating notes never felt too finicky.
Overall it's up to your liking to try to make the music sound good as the game doesn't
really punish you for that.
And each act uses the singing mechanic in at least one new way, especially for platforming!
Opposed to levelling up a character and gaining new abilities, the Bard interacts with the
world in a context sensitive way primarily.
Considering how this isn't a rhythm game, what happens when you make a mistake?
If it's repeating a tune, the game simply repeats it and waits for you to figure it
out before moving on.
There's no penalty.
If it's a platforming section, falling to your demise results in a quick nearby respawn
almost always right at the spot where the challenge was, meaning there's very little
that has to be redone.
Sometimes hitting the gap between the sound wheel can cause a miscue, but with the quick
respawn it's never a big issue.
Also, I'll add that as soon as I thought "Is this game too easy?" the game presented
me immediately with a tough platforming section.
Touché Wandersong.
The game may look simple in a screenshot but the presentation in motion can be wonderous
- flowers, animals, trees, all react to music.
Also, there's a ridiculous amount of characters in this game.
Every person (with a key exception) moves to a beat….No that's not a/I wish that
was a key pun The camera work for shifting in and out for scale is exceptional.
And the cardboard style leads to some fantastic animation sequences later on.
During the game, I never came across any tough points where I was stuck for too long.
Perhaps the lack of figuring things out is simply to the game doing a good job of teaching
the basics without me knowing it!
And from good cues such as the extra oomph when you hit the correct note.
Most puzzles were straightforward, or the game had enough subtle reminders that I wouldn't
get off track and forget what to do.
One downside of this is it had few "aha, I figured it out!"
moments - aside from one where I had to go a certain way to get to a character.
One thing that I found funny is that so many puzzles involve the music wheel that I was
thrown off on one that required jumping to the beat instead.
However, going back and playing again I noticed in chapter two there's a moment where the
messenger gives a choice to let me figure out something myself, or to request a solid
hint.
Choices like these add to some replay value of the game, and some may include funny sequences
you might have missed on the first go around.
As the game progresses, everything ESCALATES, and each act grows in size and complexity
- there's always something new, and for the most part memorable!
The PACING changes through the emotions displayed by the Bard via his tune and expressions,
and the colour of the setting he's in.
While the Bard is happy at first, showing him vulnerable and sad at times also makes
him a more relatable character, at least as potentially relatable to a guy who goes singing
around the world can be.
Usually NPCs have at least 3 different things to say to you at each point of the game, adding
to their backstory and making the game's world a more complete place full of believable
inhabitants.
Some characters come back later but each new act featured loads, sometimes boatloads, of
new characters all the time.
And not only did I find the dialog funny, about as addictive to go through as cutting
every blade of grass in a Zelda game.
The way characters interact with each other often is full of amusing and charming moments,
and even with how the Bard interacts with the environment and "hazards."
There is dancing in the game but I never figured out if dancing actually unlocked any secrets.
It's just something that's there that adds to the Bard's character and lets you
move around the game in your own way
Rare occasional things that probably weren't intended detracted me from the game slightly
were mostly from a presentation standpoint and to be clear nothing major.
Things like falling behind scenery as a cutscene started and it wasn't clear if that was
supposed to happen, or knowing that a platform is there because I revealed it through singing
but a NPC stops me and says he has to reveal the platform.
These weren't game breaking, but they only slightly removed me from the experience when
they happened.
Normally I play games that are more mechanics-focused, but Wandersong's highlight was really the
story.
Granted, there were a lot of smart design choices that made going for the end of that
story a joy.
Plus each act featured funny moments along with new twists on gameplay and platforming
with the music wheel mechanic.
After the adventure was over, I loved Wandersong, as it was a mostly relaxing game full of details
that had me smiling and laughing throughout.
And the bard's growth during the adventure contained good life lessons about attitude
that perhaps I wish I knew clearer when I was younger.
What do you think about Wandersong?

5 Cheapest Countries to Live in Asia - Duration: 2:31.
5 Cheapest Countries to Live in Asia
Have you ever wondered of leaving work and everything behind and just hop on the plane to find the cheapest Asian countries to live in?
here are the top cheapest countries you can consider to live in Asia!
1. Hanoi, Vietnam (cheapest)
Vietnam's cheapest city for backpackers is also one that gets high marks
from most visitors with its unique combination of French colonial and Asian post-communism.
The food is also top-notch, especially when you are sitting amongst locals
at one of the thousands of plastic-chair cafes throughout the city.
2. Pokhara, Nepal
While Kathmandu is where most visitors land first,
it's fairly hectic and its sights can be seen in only a couple days.
So most people head quickly to Pokhara,
which is Nepal's tourism hub and the starting point of many fabulous treks.
3. Chiang Mai, Thailand
Thailand's "capital of the north" is certainly one of the world's great travel bargain destinations.
Filled with ancient temples and surrounded by a moat and city walls,
4. Manila, Pilippines
it's a bit unfair to use Manila as the only city example in the Philippines,
because the country is loaded with far nicer beach resorts
5. Vientiane, Laos
Landlocked and sometimes forgotten, Laos generally only tends to get visitors who are spending time touring the whole region,
but those who make it are rewarded with a fascinating culture, and low prices.
Laos' capital city is so low key that it feels like a small-town river resort,

Janitor Before House Cleaning? Or Jump Right In? - Duration: 5:07.
Should you be a janitor before you start a house cleaning business?
That's a great question, and we're going to talk about that today.
Hi there.
I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask A House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,
and I get to help you find an answer.
Now today's show is brought to us by MyCleaningConnection.com
and it's where janitors and commercial cleaners
and professional house cleaners and people who do Airbnb and vacation rental turnover
service, and for mom and pops who own their own homes and they do their own cleaning.
So it's a resource hub with all different kinds kind of cleaning tips and tricks and
hacks and all kinds of stuff to make the cleaning better, are at MyCleaningConnection.com
Okay, so today's question comes from somebody who asks this:
Speaker 2: Hello, Angela.
Do you think it's a good idea to start working with a janitorial cleaning company first before
you get into the cleaning market?
All righty. That's a great question.
And I do recommend that you get some education about cleaning as you start your cleaning
business.
Now, it might be being a janitor for a while, and it might be that you just jump full-fledged
into a house cleaning business.
It doesn't really matter which.
The cleaning is going to be a little bit different.
In the janitorial industry, you're dealing with big buffers and big floor machines, which
are different than household vacuums and household mops or steamers.
So the equipment is a little bit different.
In the janitorial space, you're going to have some other things.
You're going to be replacing toilet paper and maybe soap in soap dispensers and paper
towels and things like that.
Whereas in a home, you're not going to do that.
Everything is pretty much the same as far as the cleanliness aspect of it goes, but
in buildings and commercial space, you're going to have big spaces like hallways and
big office buildings and waiting rooms and conference rooms.
Where in homes, the spaces are tinier, and you have more corners and you have more chances
for cobwebs and things like that.
So, the cleaning is going to be a little bit different, but the basic rules of cleaning
will be the same.
My suggestion to you is this: Get familiar with the job, and this is before you start
hiring other people and you expand the cleaning business.
There are a lot of people that want to just jump in and they want to manage a cleaning
business, and they've never cleaned before, and they have no idea what it involves, and
they have no idea what bidding contracts is all about, or scheduling, or the finances
and resources of it, or how to manage and maintain a team.
There's a whole bunch of stuff that's involved.
So my suggestion would be ... And there are a lot of people out there that disagree with
me on this, but my suggestion would be that you learn the business first, firsthand.
And by that I mean go out and do some cleaning.
Meet some customers.
Hear the complains with your own ears.
Learn what customers are expecting.
Learn how fickle customers can be.
Learn how you can get a cancellation at the very last minute for no apparent reason, and
then what do you do with that and how do you deal with that?
Because it's one thing to be dealing with it behind a desk, where you've never met the
customer face-to-face, or you have no idea what's happening, and then suddenly you have
to manage an employee who's dealing with that head on.
So my suggestion would be learn the business firsthand.
And the minute you think you have it figured out, then you can start expanding.
Lots of people jump in and they don't have enough work for the people that they've hired,
so there's this weird outgo of expense where they're doing all this advertising, they don't
have enough work, yet they have payroll they have to meet.
So go out and get started.
Learn about cleaning.
Do as much study and education as you possibly can around the business element, the management,
the finances, the investing, all the different stuff.
And they're about business growth.
Because as your business grows, your profit and loss will change.
And so, you want to make sure that you are aware of all the different things that are
about to hit you next.
The scary thing about the house cleaning industry is there are that just jump in, and they fly
by the seat of their pants, and they never fill in the gaps of the other part of the
business.
Then when those other things start flying at them, they're like, "Ah!"
And then they get out of the business, or they struggle and they flounder for years,
never realizing that there're actually already solutions that have been templated.
There are systems that you can incorporate very quickly that can help you overcome those
gaps and grow a flourishing business.
So give yourself time, and it sounds like you're willing to do this, because you asked
this question.
But give yourself time to learn the business so that when all this other stuff starts hitting
you, your kind of like, "Yeah, I got this.
I can figure this out.
Oh yeah, I knew this was coming.
Hey, this is no big deal," and then you go ahead and you just keep moving' like nothing'
ever happened.
That way there're no glitches or hiccups in your business, and you can still pay all your
bills on time.
All righty, that's my two cents for today.
Until we meet again,
leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

Wish App and Wish.com - Cheap Drone Accessories - Duration: 8:09.
Hey guys thought I'd do a little different kind of video.
I don't know if you've ever heard of Wish.com and Wish App.
It's like the eBay type deal,
where multiple sellers are selling different items and stuff.
Really cheap prices and sometimes you can get it for free plus you got to shipping.
I have been shopping wish for a couple years now and I thought I'd do a little video of some of the stuff that
I've gotten from wish.com or order from the wish app for drone accessories and
things like that. First thing I want to show you is the camera mount, rubber
gimble's vibration and damper. It's a a mount made to fit the Syma X8G or
any x8 Syma that is.
This slides right in, just like that.
Anti vibration.
I picked this up off a wish for three dollars and I believe it was like two
dollars shipping so five dollars.
Next up is another accessory for cameras this one is for a hat clip.
Basically clips... clips right on your hat. Any standard GoPro style camera holder.
Fit right on it, it's the GoPro style mount.
And I picked that up off of Wish for a dollar.
And it was a dollar shipping.
So two bucks and you got a mount for your GoPro to clip it on your hat
Third thing I got and I had to wait almost two months for it.
But they did refund my money, eventually they ended up showing up so I got these free.
Didn't pay anything for them. I just had to wait two months for, props for the ghosts
or the bugs three. I've actually flown them on there and they are pretty well
balanced i didn't have to do anything to them. There.. they look like standard bugs
three or ghosts f100 props. They fit fine. like I said there's no...
don't create any jello or any shake in the camera so the drone seems pretty
smooth so they actually... they perform like the originals and they were three
dollars for a set of four. But since I had to wait two months they refunded my
money and those were free.
Another handy little gadget that I picked up. Two of these little battery testers.
They also have an alarm in them, so you can actually hook this into the
balance port of your battery. It'll actually test from a single cell I
believe all the way up to eight to an eight cell. And what you can do is plug
this into your into your balance port on your battery. Put a piece of Velcro on
the back and actually stick this to your drone. Set the voltage and once it
reaches that voltage it'll give you an audible alarm. But I picked up two of
these for three dollars. I would definitely recommend getting these if
you've got any kind of hobby-grade batteries. It's a handy little gadget to have.
Let me get a battery.
I'll show you using it, one of the Force one's.
Make sure the black wire is to the left of the tester. Basically shove the
pins in there, you hear the beep and it's gonna give you each cell and a total
battery voltage. And then it tells you whether they're balanced and like I said
you can set it plug it in stick it on your drone and when that battery gets
to that preset level that you've got it set for the audible alarm, that beep
will start beeping to let you know to bring the drone in.
The next one's a solution for a problem I was having with one of my
little micro drones. The DX one from sharper image, is notorious for throwing
props. And the little black ones they fly off, you're never gonna find them.
This drone has set for a while because I had no props. This little suckers if you
buy them from sharper image they're expensive. So I went on wish try to find
something similar to it. And what I found was a bunch of these, there little tiny props
for the Cheerson CX-10. They were one of the free items, just paid shipping. So I
went ahead and ordered them. There was 16 pieces and I think the shipping they
charged me two bucks. So two dollars shipping, 16 props. I believe where I was
looking before you were paying $14 for that many. But they came in black and white.
I've got a set on already but here's it... came in four different packs.
There's the set and they fit good and I have yet to throw one of them.
So they actually fit the shaft better than what the original propellers.
Another item I have actually did it in an unboxing, a really short unboxing video was these.
Yeah go ahead and laugh they're silicone, there protectors.
But they're for a phantom three and I believe they'll fit the four series drones.
But they also fit my UPair One, to keep stuff from getting into motors.
They protect the end of the shaft, so you don't put any dings or dents in the threads.
There they are.
These... these were one of the free items. And I believe
it was $2 shipping.
And the last item that I have from Wish.com is a
little bit of vanity. But it's pretty cool, it's a vinyl decal for your automobile.
They're individual vinyl stickers.
And pretty easy install its.
It's on two pieces of plastic, you just separate the plastic stick it to
whatever you're sticking it to and then just peel it off gently.
And it leaves the decals on it.
This is the silver and I also got one in black.
So that's my wish drone accessory video.
And I hope you liked it and I will
include links in the description of the video.
And I do recommend using the app,
if you're okay with using the app.
Because with the app as your shopping you gain points.
You get percentages off and they do like monthly deals and things.
Just want to say thanks for watching.

Ring the bell so you'll know about future videos.
