Kavanaugh's Testimony Proved He's Completely UNFIT To Be A Judge - Duration: 4:37.There's a lot to unpack from yesterday's testimony of Brett Kavanaugh, so let's just start with
the very first, most obvious fact of what happened yesterday in the Senate.
That is that Brett Kavanaugh came into that chamber with one job to do, and that job was
to prove to everyone on that panel that he wasn't a crazy person that would act on rage
and aggression.
From the moment Kavanaugh opened his mouth he failed.
He could not do that, he could not control his rage, he could not control his emotions,
and doesn't that sound like the behavior of somebody that would try to force a woman into
sexual acts that she has said no to?
That is exactly the kind of behavior you would expect from someone who does those kinds of
things.
That's the biggest take away.
The second thing is that one of the reasons this man was so angry, one of the reasons
he cried was because this is a privileged white male who, for the first time in his
life, was having to face consequences for his actions.
That's what that was about.
Man doesn't care about his name, or his family, and all that, that's not what it was about.
It was about a wealthy, privileged white guy who finally had to answer some questions.
We saw that privileged white guy come out all throughout his testimony especially when
you had Senator Amy Klobuchar ask him if he had ever blacked out from drinking.
His response was, "I don't know, have you?"
Really?
That's what you're going to go with?
These people are determining your future on the Supreme Court, and you're going to answer
a question with, "I don't know, have you," as if you're still some drunken frat boy.
Every single thing the man said, every weird facial expression that he may made proved,
without a doubt, that he is unfit to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
Now, that didn't stop Republicans, Republicans loved it.
Lindsey Graham became a hero of the right for his crazy outbursts, and absolute utter
insanity during that hearing, they loved him.
They voted for him, "Hell yeah, we want this guy on the Supreme Court."
Now, let's talk about, obviously, his emotional and mental state alone would make him unfit,
so let's move on to the can he be an honest jurist?
Could he sit and not inflect his politics into his decisions?
The answer to that was given to us yesterday, and it's no because he immediately began his
hearing by attacking Democrats, by going after them saying ... peddling conspiracy theories
that this is obviously revenge for him working for Ken Starr during the Clinton investigation.
These damn Democrats are just out to get him.
Yeah, probably not going to let his politics be put aside when he's ruling on cases at
the Supreme Court, that also would make him unqualified and unfit to serve.
Another thing that makes him even more unfit to serve, and should've immediately disqualified
him is that he told five verifiable lies during the hearing yesterday, five.
Now, he was under oath, so any lie, big or small regardless of what it's about, is perjury,
that alone is an automatically disqualifying offense.
You add it to the other four times that this man has had to testify since 2004, now, we're
up to nine, and Republicans are still like, "No, that's our guy.
We want him.
He's going to the Supreme Court, folks."
That's what we saw yesterday from Kavanaugh, and the worst part is it didn't change the
minds of a single Republican sitting on that panel.
Their minds were made up, they knew they were voting yes, and nothing that was said, no
outburst from Lindsey Graham or Brett Kavanaugh would've changed their minds yesterday, and
that puts the rest of this country, the fate of the Supreme Court on very rocky footing
because this man is wholly incompetent, corrupt, and incapable of serving as an impartial jurist
on the US Supreme Court.

Cara Poalillo American Ninja Warrior season 10 submission video - Duration: 3:00.My name is Cara Poalillo, I'm 28 Years old, and I'm from Maywood, NJ and I'm the NinjaBabe.
For the past 6 1/2 years I've been working full time as a freelance sign language interpreter.
I have a big heart for the Deaf community and I love my job.
I also model in and around NYC.
I've been the Face of Jersey City Fashion week and the house model for Hipidy Dipidy
and Sisterz House.
When I was younger I struggled with body image.
I thought, like so many other girls do, that to be beautiful I had to be as skinny as possible,
and that's just not true.
I know what it's like to struggle with comparing myself to others
or not feel proud of who I am.
That's why I started the Ninjababes: to combat those lies and show women how to discover
their own strength and love themselves for who they are!
Ninja has helped me overcome those uncertainties and now I know how to help other women and
girls get through the same.
This past July I started the Ninjababes; a female ninja athlete empowerment group.
I want to take that strength and show other women how to infuse that into who they are
in their identity and allow it to propel them forward to have strength and courage in every
area of their lives.
Becoming a Ninja Warrior athlete has allowed me to face so many fears and become and even
more stronger and confident person on the inside as well as the outside.
I always wanted a sister and never got one, but now I have Ninjababe sisters all over
the world!
Through social media I've been able to connect with ninjas all over the country and all over
the world, and through The Ninjababes Podcast I get messages and feedback from all sorts
of ninjas from every walk of life.
From young girls who see me as a role model, from women who think that my story is inspiring,
and from men who tell me that their so glad that their daughters and their wives have
a voice like mine to listen to.
On the podcast I've had the amazing opportunity to interview awesome women like Jessie Graff,
Maggi Thorne, Tee Jackson: girls that have awesome stories that need to be shared with
the world.
Its a mazing and humbling to be in this position where I am able to spread such a positive
message through the podcast all over the world.
I am blown away by the messages I get from people saying that I have encouraged them
to have the strength and the boldness that they need to get though now just great feats
on the course, but great feats in every area of their lives.
And because I am fluent in American Sign Language I am able to bring that training and encouragement
to the Deaf community as well.
I've been training with top athletes like Najee Richardson, Rachael Goldstien, Jessie
Graff, I also had the awesome opportunity of testing the course at Ninja vs. Ninja.
I got to test the obstacles multiple times and for my full course run I made it smoothly
all the way down and up the warped wall.
This was me testing this past June at the Las Vegas finals.
I made it up this 80 ft spider climb my first try in 30 seconds.
Ninja Warrior has changed my life and through it I am able to change other people's lives.
That's incredible!
I cannot wait to see this Ninjababes revolution transform the world for the better!
So HERE I AM NBC!
Pick me, the Ninjababe, for this season of American Ninja Warrior!

Critical techniques in network music players, part 1: the filtering - Duration: 13:26.Digital technology is maturing rapidly; quality that only a decade ago might not even be available
at the highest of high end prices now is available at prices that most people in the western
world can afford.
That doesn't mean that all equipment is of the same level….
When we look at digital music reproduction, like with cd-players and network players,
the sound quality is greatly defined by the jitter performance and the quality of the
reconstruction filter.
There are of course underlying problems that form the base of these performance issues.
In this first part we look at the filtering that is unavoidable in digital music reproduction.
The anti-aliasing filter is needed during recording to comply to the Nyquist theorem
that states that a band limited signal can be perfectly sampled when the sample frequency
is at least double that of the highest frequency in the band limited signal.
Sounds great, but what does it mean?
In his theorem Nyquist defined 80 years ago that a signal might not contain any information
above a given frequency.
When the cd was developed in the seventies of the last century 20 kHz has been chosen,
meaning that a sampling frequency of at least 40 kHz should be used.
At that time there were no recorders that were able to record bits at that speed.
For we get 44,100 samples of 16 bits, times two channels.
That is 1 million four hundred eleven thousand two hundred bits, 1.4 megabits per second.
So the technicians built a device that first converted the analogue signal to a digital
signal and then converted that into a black and white video signal containing black and
white squares to represent ones and zeros.
That way a video recorder could be used for digital audio.
To have the digital data fit inside the video signal it was convenient to use 44,056 or
44,100 samples per second, depending on the local video system - PAL or NTSC.
Later on the global standard was set for 44,100 for CD.
Choosing a slightly higher sampling frequency while maintaining 20 kHz for audio bandwidth
means that there is some space to do the filtering in.
For sampling at 44,100 Hz allows for a max bandwidth of 22,050 Hz.
CD's use 16 bits to code amplitude and that gives a dynamic range of 96 dB.
In nature there are no signals that promptly stop at 20 kHz so a filter has to block any
content above that 22,050 Hz.
Using 20,000 Hz as upper limit, it gives us 2,050 Hz to filter in.
2050 Hz at 20,000 Hz is a tone distance of about a single note, one white key on the
piano.
And in that small space we need to attenuate the signal by 96 dB's.
Normally filters are specified in dB attenuation per octave.
An octave is roughly 8 white keys, so that reconstruction filter would be 8 x 96 dB = 768
dB per octave.
Many audiophiles already panic when a loudspeaker uses 24 dB per octave filtering!
And here the filter needs to be 32 times as steep.
It is impossible to filter that steep without getting all kinds of artefacts, resulting
in time smearing.
On the analog digital conversion often low bit converters are used like a one bit converter
as used for SACD and thus DSD.
That signal is then decimated to 44.1 kHz or a multiple of that and 16 or 24 bit, depth,
depending on the delivery model.
But if you think it therefore doesn't need any filtering, you're wrong.
If you down convert that signal to 44.1 kHz, you still need to apply that same anti aliasing
filter at 22.05 kHz.
And since a one bit system only has a dynamic range of 6 dB!!!, noise shaping has to calculate
the noise to somewhere outside the audio band and thus inaudible.
Another option is using PCM at higher sampling rates like 88.4, 96, 176.8 and 192 kHz or
even higher.
If you then use a less steep filter that starts at 20 kHz, that filter might sound better.
And every doubling of the sampling rate gives you an extra octave to filter in.
Unfortunately the solution used is chosen by the sound engineer or record company.
On playback equal filtering has to be applied to prevent the reconstruction of the analog
signal from going wrong.
And also here the same problem arises: very steep filtering.
But here you can have some influence on the choice.
Of course, if a recording is only available at 44.1 kHz, you can't change that.
But when choosing your DAC or player you can choose one that uses filtering that pleases
you the most.
Filtering always is a compromise and the cheaper the price of the product, the more the designer
had to compromise.
In a simple DAC or player, the digital analogue conversion is done by a DAC chip that also
does oversampling.
Given the price OEM manufacturers are willing to pay, there is only limited silicon available
for that DSP function.
As a result relatively poor upsampling filters are implemented.
Chip manufacturers do offer a solution though: they facilitate the use of an external processor
to do the upsampling and digital filtering in.
This potentially increases the sound quality considerable.
You now know the first reason why it is stupid to think that all DAC's using the same DAC
chip are of the same quality.
But even if an external processor is used, the power of that processor and the quality
of the code have their influence on the sound quality.
And at the same quality, different kinds of filters exists.
On some DAC's and players you can even select what filter to use.
Choices involve things like priority on linear frequency response, linear phase, slow roll
off and so on.
This sounds interesting but I notice that often the linear phase version sounds the
best.
At least, to my ears.
The use of low bit converters implies that upsampling must be used.
This means that the precision in amplitude is shifted to precision in clock signal.
In layman's terms: where the classic ladder converter needed to have the smallest voltages
very precise, the low-bit converters need to have a very precise clock to achieve the
same quality.
And both ways are equally difficult.
Again, it's not the principle but the execution of it that defines the quality.
NOS stands for Non OverSampling.
Files are converted to analog at the sampling rate of origin using a 16 or 24 bit ladder
converter.
Here each bit switches a given voltage where each lower bit represents half the voltage
of the bit above it.
So the most significant bit represents 1 volt if pthe maximum output is 2 volts.
Funny enough the other 15 or 23 bits together stand for the same voltage as the most significant
bit so that when all bits are 'on', the output voltage is 2 volts.
The second significant bit represents 0.5 volts, the third significant bit 0.25 volts
and so on.
When you go down to the 16th bit, you see that it represents only 30.5 µVolts and the
24th bit is the absurd 0.12 µVolts.
It might be clear that there is no chance of getting that voltage out of the thermal
noise.
And even if they would manage to do so, the thermal drift of the resistors that define
these voltage would cause irregularities.
Therefore you often see a number of NOS DAC's stacked piggy back style.
That way the output increases and the irregularities even out.
A small number of manufacturers build their own filtering and DAC circuits using powerful
DSP's.
In many of cases the code is written by third party programmers that have worked years on
their code.
The resulting filters usually offer high to very high time resolution.
Given More's Law processing power doubles every two years en we are at a point now that
these filters are becoming affordable.
I love the improvement MQA offers.
See my videos on MQA.
It doesn't work on all tracks always but it does in most cases, provided you have an
MQA DAC.
Even if the album you want to play isn't available in MQA, having an MQA DAC has its
advantages.
I have explained how the anti aliasing and reconstruction filters cause time smearing.
Using MQA files these are corrected to a large degree for these errors but even non-MQA files
benefit clearly from the MQA filters according to me and some colleagues.
So what is the best DAC and what is the best reconstruction filter.
The answer will not be popular: it depends….
It depends on the implementation, the other equipment in your stereo and your personal
preference.
Even all the money in the world can't buy you the perfect filter, so you have the pick
the solution that, when used in your situation, has artefacts that bother you the least.
Now, don't get me wrong.
What can be achieved today is immensely better than what could be done a decade ago.
I could easily live with a large number of solutions available today, as long as they
are designed to perfection - or as close to perfection as possible.
Don't forget that there is another big factor defining the quality: jitter.
That even has a bigger influence - at least in my opinion.
Therefore part 2 of this video is all about jitter.

A Shocking Truth Behind This Cute Dog's Dog Behavior | Kritter Klub - Duration: 3:04.Kon~ Come to daddy
You want me to scratch your head? Like this?
Pat pat~
Cute dog Kon!
However..?
I won't do it. I'm just trying to scratch you here.
When the owner pets the head..
I likey
What if the owner pets the body?
I think I told you not to touch me
This is the thing with the dog..
The animal shelter was going to abandon the dog because people kept returning it, but then I adopted it
Is it because of its wounded heart?
Last time, it bit my daughter's cheek
and another time, my wife had to go to the hospital after the dog bit her hand
It seems like Kon
is suffering from a pain..
Is there a problem with Kon?
Oh!!
How can we do it..?
I think there's a specific part
which aching since Kon is trying to bite people
Getting its fur trimmed
The dog is healthy
So then what's the problem..?
The dog expert is here
What is wrong with this dog?
He's not scared of people petting its body
He's scared of the way people look at him in the eyes
WHAT??
Don't look at Kon in the eyes
It's the best thing that happened to us
Crew: Oh.. He's letting you touch him
The dog wanted to send a signal for help because it was heartbroken after people kept returning it to the dog shelter
and that's why it kept looking at people in the eyes
but people always ignored it
which is a very cruel thing for the dog
A solution for Kon! Trying to give a good impression!
Whenever Kon looks at the owner in the eyes
Then the owner gives him a snack
This used to be the old Kon...
But now he's different~
Wow.. It's fantastic
Ah~ Look at this dog
Crew: I'm sure you can trim its fur next time
and show it to us, right?
I'll upload a video if possible
Well then we'll be looking forward to hear from you

Zu Besuch bei Prince Boateng in Italien - Duration: 4:21.I'm happy to be here - I think you can see that.
I really wanted to come back, and I think I've found a really nice place here.
Modena is a lovely city, and the food is amazing.
I made lots of friends, and I'm still in touch with many of them:
Timmy Chandler, Russ, Carlos Salcedo, Marco Fabián, Zimbo…
there are quite a lot I'm still in touch with.
I experienced lots of emotions during my year there,
and the great thing is that I have positive memories -
when that's the case, you miss a place like that twice as much.
Obviously I miss the stadium as well, and the amazing fans.
In the first Cup game we said we wanted to get to the final like last year.
Everyone, the physios, the players, couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was.
It was such an incredible thing, and if they could do it again…
So I said to the boys, if we get to the final, we'll win it.
You don't get to a final to finish second.
And then Russ said it would be amazing if we could do it again,
and then we did it, so it was a proud feeling.
When you play against the best team in Germany, and one of the best teams in the world,
then it's even better to win the final against that fantastic team,
when everyone thought they would blow us away - it feels even better.
For me personally, in my home city of Berlin, it was one of the best moments of my career.
It's something you never forget, and I keep getting flashbacks - memories come flooding back.
The first goal in the final, and the last goal,
with Mijat running towards the goal and everyone jumping off the bench to celebrate.
And then everyone in the Römerberg… you don't forget that kind of thing.
Eintracht is still a big part of me.
I'm still kind of there - I think about Eintracht, I follow everything, I watched all the friendlies…
Of course it's difficult - you've lost important players, you've lost your coach,
with all the structures and ideas that he had.
It's always difficult after such a change to see immediately that there's a new structure
or to start winning immediately.
Some of the long-serving players are still there and they've signed some new players too,
and the players they've signed have to settle in first.
I hope that the new squad gels quickly.
If you know me and have seen my career, you'll know that I haven't always left clubs on a high.
That's why Eintracht is such an important milestone in my career and in my life.
And so is Frankfurt as a city,
because there aren't many places where the city is so closely connected to the club.
That's such an amazing thing, so I'll never forget it - it will always be a part of me.
I gave myself the chance, and I took it.
They gave me an amazing welcome, which hasn't always been the case -
often when I've come into a club I've had lots of critics.
I think we have a connection, I have a connection with the fans,
something which maybe we can't explain.
There's this tingling feeling that we have, and that's something that will stay with me.
It was an amazing year and the support was incredible, at away games as well.
What the fans do as a whole is absolutely unbelievable,
and that's why I wanted to give something back.
I don't think anyone knows this, but because I'm not there any more I can put on the record now
that I made a donation for the final, for the fans in our end so that they could give it their all.
And in the end it worked out how we all dreamt it would.
