134716700 - Replacing Your Frigidaire Dryer's Drum Support Washer AP4368989 PS2349292 - Duration: 9:09.
hi my name is Bill and today I'll be showing you how to replace the drum
support washer in your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because
the washer is lost or damaged or because you hear squeaking noise while the
dryers running for this repair we'll be using a screwdriver with a CRV 6-bit a
Philips head screwdriver and a ratchet with a 9/16 socket warning before doing
any repairs please disconnect your power source so this is the dryer we're gonna
be using for this demonstration it's a Frigidaire keep in mind you might
have one that's not quite exactly the same as this but the same technique
should still apply just make sure you turn your gas off
we're gonna turn our dryer around so we need to remove these two screws right
here we're going to be using a Philips head screwdriver
and once we've got those screws out we can pull the top back and then lift it
off and put it off to the side now we're going to unscrew these two screws here
we'll take off the grounding wire
and now we'll unplug all these wires here and just make sure when you're
moving these wires that you're pushing it on the tabs to release the wires from
the board so the next thing we're going to do is we're going to have six screws
total we've got to remove we've got two here two inside the door and two at the
bottom now to make this a little bit easier for the last two we're going to
get a piece of wood and we're gonna set it underneath the dryer
now all you have to do is just slightly lift on the bulkhead and it should come
right out now we just have to remove these three wires here now I'll take the
lint filter out we'll set that off to the side now we're going to remove the
screws right here holding the support in
now whenever move the two bottom screws that go into this bulkhead here and now
we can remove the bulkhead we're just gonna lift up on it a little bit and
remove it from the support and we should be able to pull it right out so now you
can see right here we have the nut on the support roller but we don't have a
washer on there you can see on the other side right here that it's got the nut
and the washer and take the nut off what we're doing is we're using a 9/16 inch
ratchet and just loosening that up until we can do it by hand
now grab your new OEM replacement washer if you don't have one already you can
find it on our online store so now we'll put the washer in on this side
here and we can take our nut and we can screw that on my hand as tight as we can
get it and now we're gonna do to tighten it the rest of the way because I've got
this screwdriver with a CRV 6-bit in it and from this side we're gonna stick it
inside the roller wheel shaft and hold that in place while we tighten up the
other side with our ratchet there we go and now that that's nice and tight put
it back together so now we'll put the bulkhead back in place and we're just
going to need to lift up on the drum a little bit while we do this and make
sure that the roller wheels are supporting the drum we're gonna make
sure that our tab goes into the slot here for the bulkhead on both sides and
now you're going to also put the tabs into the slots on the support that
attaches to the bulkhead right there and now we can screw everything back in
now put the lint filter back in so now will reattach the layers for the door
switch in case you don't remember you're gonna want to make sure you take a
picture before you take the wires off but just took a look at my own picture
and so now I remember where all the ways you're supposed to go
so now we're going to do we're going to line up these tabs here and put those
into the slots there's gonna be four tabs so it'll so now I'm gonna screw in
the screws up top first
so now we'll plug all of our wires back in
now we're going to slide our control panel up and you're gonna line up the
holes down here with the little tabs that are sticking out and we're just
going to reattach a grounding wire here now we're just lining up our holes it's
screwing it back in now I'll put the top panel back on and when we do this we'll just
slide it all the way forward till it's in place and then line up your screw
holes and screw it back down now we can turn it back around and your repair is
complete now we can turn our gas back on finally don't forget to plug in your
appliance if you need to replace any parts for your appliances you can find

hi my name is Bill and today I'm going to be showing you how to replace the
thermal limiter in your dryer the reason why you might have to do this is because
it won't run at all or because it's running too long for this repair we'll
be using a Philips head screw driver and a short stubby Philips head screw driver
warning before doing any repairs please disconnect your power source so this is
the dryer we're gonna be using for this demonstration
it's a Frigidaire keep in mind you might have one that's not quite exactly the
same as this but the same technique should still apply just make sure you
turn your gas off we're going to turn our dryer around so we need to remove
these two screws right here we're going to be using a Philips head screwdriver
and once we've got those screws out we can pull the top back and then lift it
off and put it off to the side so now we're going to unscrew these two screws
here we'll take off the grounding wire
and now we'll unplug all these wires here and just make sure when you're
removing these wires that you're pushing it on the tabs to release the wires from
the board so the next thing we're going to do is we're going to have six screws
total you've got to remove we've got two here two inside the door and two at the
bottom
now to make this a little bit easier for the last two we're gonna get a piece of
wood and we're gonna set it underneath the dryer now all you have to do is just
slightly lift on the bulkhead and it should come right out now we just have
to remove these three wires here now we'll take the lint filter out
we'll set that off to the side now we're going to remove the screws right here
holding the support in
now I'm going to remove the two bottom screws that go to this bulkhead here and now we
can remove the bulkhead we're just gonna lift up on it a little bit and remove it
from the support and we should be able to pull it right out so here's the drum
belt right here and in order to get it off we're gonna have to reach underneath
the drum and in order to get the belt off we're gonna have to push up on the
lever to release the tension and reach in with our other hand and now we take
that right off so now that the drum belt is free we can pull up on the belt so it
doesn't get caught on anything and then pull the drum out so right there is the
thermal limiter we have to remove first thing I'm going to do is I want to take
out these screws right here we're using a short Phillips head screwdriver
the next thing I want to do is unplug the wires that are attached to it and
all you have to do is pull them straight out now you can grab your new OEM
replacement thermal limiter if you don't have one already you can find it on our
online store so now we're going to plug our new one in first and all we have to
do put the wires straight on to the connections right there make sure
make sure it's nice and tight and now we can screw it back on
back on we're going to take the belt we're going to go on the other side of the wheel
here just like this and we'll lift it up and then loop the belt around the shaft
here make sure everything's not straight there we go and then everything should
be able to spin freely now just like that so now we'll put the bulkhead back
in place and we're just going to need to lift up on the drum a little
bit while we do this and make sure that the roller wheels are supporting the
drum we're gonna make sure that our tab goes into the slot here for the bulkhead
on both sides and now you're doing also put the tabs into the slots on the
support that attaches to the bulkhead right there and now we can screw
everything back in
now put the lint filter back in so now will reattach the wires for the door
switch in case you don't remember you're gonna want to make sure you take a
picture before you take the wires off but I just took a look at my own picture

so you can see right here on our thermal limiter supposed to be held in by two
screws but it's all I got one right now so it's a little bit loose now you can
grab your new OEM replacement screw and if you don't have one already you can
find it on our online store so we're just gonna get this started in here back
end so now to put the drum back on we're going to take the belt or go on the
other side of the wheel here just like this and we're gonna lift it up and then
loop the belt around the shaft here and make sure everything on straight there
we go and then everything should be able to spin freely now just like that so now

Symptoms.
The most common symptom is cracked, scaly skin between your toes or on the sides of your feet.

Make the most of its benefits by dipping your feet in it.
Ingredients.
3 tablespoons black tea (45 g) 4 cups water (1 liter).
Preparation.
Pour the water into a pot and then add the tea.
Bring to boil and leave on heat for 5 more minutes.
Then, remove from heat and let stand.
When the water cools, strain the infusion and pour into a container.
Dip your feet inside for half an hour.
Dry your feet well with a towel, especially between your toes.
Repeat twice a day until you see an improvement.
Natural Salt-Based Remedy.
Salt has the ability to remove moisture, which is what makes athlete's foot spread.
It also helps kill pesky fungi.
Ingredients.
4 cups water (1 liter) 5 tablespoons salt (75 g).
Preparation.
Pour the water into a pot and heat.
When the water is warm, add salt.
Pour the mixture into an appropriate container and dip your feet inside until it cools down.
Dry your feet well and apply baking soda or talcum powder on the affected area to keep it dry.
Repeat every day for at least two weeks.
Natural Yogurt-Based Remedy.
Dairy products have bacterial cultures which are perfect for fighting fungal or bacterial infections.
It's best to use natural yogurts, as they have live and active cultures.
You can use yogurt in two ways.
On one hand, you can eat yogurt, preferably in the mornings on an empty stomach and at night before going to bed.
On the other hand, you can apply it directly.

1 tablespoon yogurt (20 g) 2 tablespoons water (30 ml).
Preparation.
Mix both ingredients well and then apply on the affected area and let dry.
Rinse with warm water.
Repeat twice a day until you see an improvement.
Natural Garlic-Based Remedy.
Garlic has antifungal properties that make it an excellent fungi-fighting remedy.
In addition to using raw garlic cloves when cooking, you can also prepare external treatments to make the most of its antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Garlic has amazing properties that not only help cure athlete's foot but also help fight a number of diseases naturally.
Ingredients.
1 garlic clove 2 drops of olive oil.
Preparation.
Crush the garlic and add the olive oil to create a paste.
