The corporate lawyer who defended oil giant BP for the Deep Water Horizon disaster has

now been approved by the Senate to serve as the top environmental lawyer for the Department

of Justice.

We know a lot about this guy, don't we?

Yeah, absolutely.

Our law firm handled the BP disaster along the coast.

We used to talk about this guy.

We would actually talk about how his maneuvers were always right on the edge of, what I used

to call, illegal.

There was nothing that this man was not capable of doing where it came to defending his BP

client who, oh, by the way, knew that what they were doing was absolutely against the

law in the way that they were running the Deep Water Horizon.

They knew they violated the law year after year and got away with it.

Nobody said anything.

This guy thought, "Well, these are the people that I want to be a lawyer for."

Thousands, tens of thousands of people along the Gulf Coast lost everything.

This guy says, "Yeah, I want to be the BP lawyer."

What's your take on him?

Now he's in change of the very department the actually went after BP on the federal

side for the fines and all of that.

Now we're supposed to trust him, the guy who went out there and knew BP had engaged in

all of this horrible activity, along with Transocean and the other groups here.

Now he's the one who gets to call the shots on that.

We've already seen enforcement fall by, I think, 94% at the DOJ.

Right.

It's gonna fall by 99% on these environment cases.

Say that again.

Maybe people missed that.

They quantify enforcement actions by the DOJ regularly, and they find that there's been

a 93-94% decline in enforcement actions by the Department of Justice already.

Now put this guy in here, it's gonna be 100%.

If you want to understand a little bit about this man, go back and look at the history

of this law firm.

The law firm is called Kirkland & Ellis.

Kirkland with a K, Kirkland & Ellis.

Go look at who these people represent and you'll have a really good understanding about

what's getting ready to happen to the American consumer.

And oh, by the way, it's interesting.

We just talked about the Federalist Society appointing all these judges, this guy is in

the hub.

This guy is the very hub of what goes on with the Federalist Society.

He's always giving speeches and he's talking about how dysfunctional the EPA is and how

the EPA is always overreaching and they don't even have Constitutional authority.

You got about 10 seconds.

Now they might not anymore, because we've let them pack all the judges from all the

courts, so of course they're probably gonna rule with whatever this guy says when he goes

after these agencies for trying to do their job.

They didn't even ask him ... you see in this situation, they didn't even ask him about

his speeches.

All they had to do was read his speeches and see he hates the EPA, he hates enforcement.

I make Garlic Cheese Bread again - Duration: 5:35.

Dough: 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour. 1 tsp instant dry yeast. 1 tbsp sugar. 1 large egg. 125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk. 3 tbsp butter, melted. 1/2 tsp salt.

Stir until smooth sticky dough. We can use a mixer with a dough hook.

Cover 90 minutes at warm place

Garlic butter: 2 tbsp butter, 1 tsp grated garlic (1/2 tsp garlic powder), spring onion, chopped. salt to taste.

Mix well, cover & store in the fridge until ready to use. The aroma is very sharp when using fresh garlic.

Use flour to handle the dough with a light pressure. If you press little strong, the dough will stick to your hand.

Cut into two, 1/3 part & 2/3 part.

2/3 part divide into 3. 1/3 part set aside.

Flatten the 3 small dough into thin circles

Spread a half of garlic butter on the dough evenly

The 2nd dough spread the rest of garlic butter.

The last dough smooth out with a rolling pin.

trim the edge. I shape the remaining dough into a bun.

Cut into 12

Make different shapes for decorations

The 1/3 part

Flatten and fill with a handful of cheese(s)

Shape into a bun and flatten

Place the decoration dough on top

Cover 30 - 60 minutes

Dab with beaten egg

Bake at 180°C (350°F) preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes. An oven may vary.

My Bottom Line Key to a Successful Marriage - Duration: 6:45.

We see many articles with three, five or 15 keys to a happy or successful marriage.

I'm going to share with you one bottom line key that I heard from a long time married

husband many years ago.

I heard a nugget of truth years ago during an interview

with a couple who've been married over 50 years.

The interviewer asked the husband, really?

He asked him, he said, what's the secret to having a happy marriage?

His answer was so simple and so profound that it embedded firmly in my memory bank and I'm

going to share that with you.

Amazon and the Internet are chock full of articles, podcasts, and videos that provide

answers to that question.

Authors and videographers from every stripe and background have an opinion, secular Christian,

new age and everything in between.

If you do a Google search on quote keys, successful marriage.

When I did it, it revealed these titles on the first page of results.

Eight, essential for a successful marriage.

15 keys to a successful marriage, three keys to a successful marriage.

Seven, love keys to a successful marriage.

Five secrets of a successful marriage.

So how many keys are there and I have no doubt that if I click to page two, who knows what

other numbers might have popped up, now look at, I'm deliberately not going to share the

hyperlinks because I have no clue if any of these articles are really good or helpful.

Now, I suspect because they ranked so high that many of them contain factual and useful

elements regardless of the spiritual leanings of the authors.

I believe though that all truth originates with the god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,

and each writer can specifically embrace or accidentally wander into ultimately what the

Bible or the word of God declares.

In our counseling center, we see many clients both in the office and online.

We're struggling with marriage issues.

That's why they come in looking for help.

Personally.

My approach to helping people is to try to help them simplify complex issues.

Let's get behind the presenting problems and discern the real root of what's going on.

Now look at for every person's life, there can be many concerns that facets and in their

background, but I'm going to share with you my view that most marriage issues stem from

one fundamental sources and that's selfishness.

If you I'm in a marriage, are dealing with too selfish partners.

The situations use the chaotic and the Lord really needs work miracles to bring restoration

there.

If you have one selfish partner and one giver, the Union often limps along in survival mode.

As I say with one person giving any other person which beard better at taking or being

selfish.

Often they seek counseling when the giver has reached the bottom of a barrel of what

they have to offer and give no.

Obviously the ideal situation for any marriage is when both partners choose to live unselfish

lifestyles with each other and focusing on meeting their partner's needs in addition

to their own.

That's one of many simple prescriptions in scripture.

Bottom line, husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the church.

After all, he gave himself up for the year and for the church and served it well.

Why?

I knew that he had distilled many truths down to that one single nugget of wisdom.

Okay?

I have no idea, man.

I have no memory of whether that was a man was a believer or not.

There was this much I do know there was no biblical reference or preaching involved because

I believe God's principles work in every situation and I know of many unsaved couples who have

healthy and thriving marriages because they live this truth out day by day.

You may not be married to someone that maybe you're stuck in a tough situation, but let

me ask you, are you willing to do whatever it takes to make your spouse happy and we're

not talking about weird, illicit or illegal stuff, right?

You can begin to make that change in your relationship regardless of where you're supposed

to spiritually.

Gaining encouragement from first Peter Three, one.

Well, it mentions why specifically, I personally have seen husbands and wives receiving Jesus

because of the behaviors, not the words of their partner.

If you're stuck in a difficult marriage, I'm not presenting a quick fix, remedy nor encouraging,

staying in an abusive situation.

Look, if you need help, get it.

If your partner doesn't submit to counseling as a couple, do it for yourself.

God wants marriage, his whole healthy and restored.

He can show you

how to cooperate with him and walk in peace and victory as you made that fabulous.
