Youtube daily Oct 19 2018

In a lot of respects,

the Pixel 3 phones are kind of generic.

You know, they don't have an S Pen stylus,

they don't have three lenses on the back.

It doesn't have any crazy outstanding features.

It's just a smartphone, but I would say,

currently it is the best smartphone.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, they both have

the main ingredients and the foundation

for a great smartphone.

So, that's a really good screen, that's good battery life,

that's a great camera and water resistance,

but with the Pixel phones the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL,

they have a little extra to them

that kind of just makes them shine brighter than the rest.

So one of the places where the Google Pixel phones shine

is with the software.

It's not so much the hardware,

but it's what you see on the screen itself.

That means Android for one,

and it's a pure expression of Google's Android.

There's no extra stuff in there, no bloatware.

It's really clean.

It's really simple.

It's fluid.

It feels reliable.

It's just a really solid version of Android

that I just tend to prefer over

the extra stuff that you'll find

on, like, Samsung phones or LG phones.

You just get a pure vision of what Android is meant to be

and it's a better phone for it.

So one of the biggest reasons people buy the Pixel phones

is because of the camera, and the Pixel 3 XL

is absolutely no exception.

It's unreal how good these cameras are.

There's something that Google does with its software

that just makes the photos look really natural

and yet there's a ton of processing going into it.

It's largely software based.

You can really get a sense of place and location

when you're looking at a photo from a Pixel 3 phone.

One thing that you may have noticed,

is that the Pixel 3 phones

still have a single lens camera system.

Google can do with software what others,

you know, can only dream of.

One of the things that's amazing that the Pixel 3s can do

is having a really, really good portrait mode

with a single lens rear camera

and then Google made, sort of the fake

sort of digital zoom that you see on other phones,

but they made it better.

It's almost to the level of an actual zoom lens on a phone

and later down the line we're expecting

the new Night Sight feature,

which will again be a software update

and it'll make the Pixel 3 cameras really good

in low light situations, at least that's what we were shown

and told at a Pixel event.

Obviously we're gonna need to test those claims.

The Top Shot feature is pretty cool too.

So what it does, is it basically takes a bunch of photos,

just in case, maybe that moment

where you press the shutter button,

something with the photo went wrong, or the subject blinked.

I think it's a fantastic little feature.

So Google did add a little extra lens there,

but on the selfie side of things.

Google had to add an extra lens

for the ultra-wide angle selfies.

Now, this is meaningful, and I kind of wish

Google put an ultra-wide lens on the back of the phone too

because ultra-wide is kind of good

and it's really good to have on phones like the LG V40.

It's so meaningful for a selfie and for selfie-takers too

because it means you get more people in the shot,

more of your location and surroundings in the shot.

These are features that can totally be used all the time

without you really even thinking about it.

You just, kind of just use it.

These Pixel 3 displays look really, really good.

Now one thing that is specific to the 3 XL is the notch,

but hey, you know what, I've been using the phone

for about a week and I've kind of forgotten about the notch.

It's really not a problem.

It doesn't interfere with the way I use the phone.

I just really hope that you don't base

your next smartphone buying decision

on how the phone looks, because I would imagine

that you go walk into a store and you see the notch

on the Pixel 3 XL and you'd be like,

well that's a pass, move on.

Thing is, you'd be missing out

on a really, really, really good phone.

You just gotta look past that notch.

So it's running in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845,

which is the latest chip.

The Pixel 3 has been totally fine and seamless,

fluid and smooth and stable and no problems whatsoever,

with the Snapdragon 845 and the 4 gigs of RAM.

I would not be worried about that at all.

And it's kind of like Apple.

So you get the Google phone made to run with Google software

and they're made to run perfectly.

Of course, the Pixel 3 is running Google's Android 9.0,

Android Pie, I really like it.

I think it's fantastic.

Took me some getting used to a little bit for sure,

having to sort of swipe a little bit on the home button

to multitask and that kind of thing and different gestures.

They feel really smooth.

They feel responsive and it's actually been an improvement

of how I use the phone.

Build quality, this was an improvement,

absolutely over the original Pixel,

but also over the Pixel 2.

The Pixel 3 has a really, super nice two-tone glass back

and now the bottom half is also glass,

but sort of has this frosted texture

and it feels really, really nice.

I really don't like putting a case on it.

As you would expect, with Android phones,

especially the high-end stuff,

you get a fast charger in the box, right?

I'm talking to you Apple.

Yeah, you get a nice USB-C to USB-C cable

and a USB-C charging brick and it fast charges the phone.

And you now have a new choice of how to charge your phone,

right, we got wireless charging finally, right?

On days when I am using the phone heavily,

a lot of screen time, a lot of apps, watching videos too.

You know it's, by the end of the day, it's probably

about 35-ish percent I'd say, so no problems there,

but nothing special either.

I would say the Pixel 3 phones are also

the Android device that you should check out

if you're an iPhone user.

Now I know, yes, you're being like, "Oh my God,

iPhone users would never switch to Android."

Well you know sometimes,

people like to switch it up a little bit.

Maybe if you had the iPhone since the very first iPhone

and you kind of, like, want to see what else is out there

but if you do make the switch to Android,

100% it's got to be Pixel.

It just gives you the most pure expression

of Google and Android.

Its simplicity, how well it works, its performance,

its reliability, it is the best reference for Android

that you're going to get.

They have lots of meaningful features

that you may not even really notice are happening,

like every time I put my SIM card back in the Pixel phones

I'm just like, ah, this is the way it's meant to be.

John Kelly & John Bolton Have Profane Shouting Match Outside Oval Office - Duration: 3:44.

On Thursday of this week, according to witnesses inside the White House, there was a massive,

profane shouting match outside of the Oval Office between Donald Trump's Chief of Staff

John Kelley and his National Security Advisor John Bolton.

The two of them were allegedly arguing about immigration, specifically Donald Trump's repeated

claims that there is this massive caravan of people headed to the United States to cross

our border.

They're all mad about it, obviously, and so the two, Bolton and Kelley, were arguing over

the effectiveness of Department of Homeland Security Chief Kirstjen Nielsen.

Now, John Kelley, according to those who witnessed the argument, was defending Nielsen saying

she's doing a good job protecting our border.

She's doing a good job putting all those little kids in cages.

John Bolton, on the other hand, was unhappy.

She wasn't doing enough.

Maybe there aren't enough kids in cages, and maybe we don't have enough cages on hand to

put everybody from this massive caravan into cages.

The Trump administration right now is hoping ... and this is an aside to the little argument.

We'll get back to that in a minute.

They're hoping, right now, that this alleged caravan of migrants coming to the United States

is going to give them a boost in the midterms.

That's why they're talking about it nonstop, and that's actually why Donald Trump is out

there blaming the Democrats for this caravan, like somehow the Democrats did this.

Matt Gaetz, my idiot congressman, who might actually be the dumbest person on the planet

at this point, is spreading a conspiracy theory right now that George Soros paid these people

to join an immigrant caravan down in Honduras and make the trek all the way to the United

States.

Matt Gaetz, a Republican congressman, is actually spreading that conspiracy theory right now.

Back to the fight.

Right?

That's what everybody wants to know about, John Bolton and John Kelley profanely screaming

at one another.

Well, unfortunately, there's not too much to add to that, other than people said that,

at the time, they figured when this fight was over, it was basically going to end with

either John Kelley or John Bolton immediately resigning on the spot.

Neither happened.

Both men still in the White House.

According to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, there was a disagreement, but there's no animosity.

There's no hard feelings between anyone there in the White House.

Everybody's friends.

Things just sometimes get a little heated.

The White House is falling apart.

It's falling apart from the inside.

None of the people get along with one another.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders still, to this day, incapable of telling us the truth about what's

actually happened, and the only way we get accurate reports is when witnesses inside

the White House decide to talk to the press.

This entire administration is falling apart.

They're relying on conspiracy theory talking points to try to energize their base ahead

of the midterms, and the American people are suffering as a result of it.

I'm terrified to think what this administration is going to do as that group of immigrants

gets closer to this country.

Trump has threatened to send the military down there to shut down the border, and if

that happens, you can guarantee that there will be killings at the hands of the United

States military trying to protect this border from Donald Trump's imaginary threats.

People who Disappeared in National parks Bizarre True stories, Missing 411 [Part 1/2] - Duration: 18:07.

There is a strange phenomena occurring

where people have gone disappearing in our national parks?

Some are showing up alive days later with no memory of what happened to them,

others have simply vanished without a trace,

And some have even shown up in places where

searchers had already looked for them.

Many believe the parks themselves are covering up

these strange and mysterious disappearances

And if that's the case, why would they do such a thing

All of this and more on today's episode of Edge of Wonder.

Welcome to Edge of Wonder , I'm Ben

and I'm Rob

So this one we were getting a lot of comments asking us about it

and one of our fans Stephanie Farlow posted something about it to my FB page

which inspired more people joining in who all wanted to know what was going on.

So Ben and I didn't know too much about this,

I mean we heard of it but it wasn't completely on our radar,

since we have been really focused on the deep state.

So we started to look into it

and man let me tell you guys, the more we looked into this the stranger it got.

And like everything else, it has got the illumidonkey written all over it.

Yep, but to give you an example of the strangeness of this,

there was one case where a little boy whose body was found lying on a fallen tree

but the unexplained aspect of this is that the trail searchers walked through

and search that entire area for days

and suddenly the body shows up out of nowhere.

In another case a 2-year-old child was missing and after a couple of days,

it was really misty and the search dogs started to act really strange and out of nowhere

the little girl came walking out of the mist completely naked

and scared to death

but couldn't say what happened to her.

They thought she was with a large animal which somehow protected her.

Recently there was a documentary called "Missing 411",

based on a series of books written by David Paulides

who had more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement

including the SWAT Team and Street Crimes unit on the San Jose Police Department.

Paulides started to get involved in missing persons cases

after a government employee went to go see him for help.

When Paulides heard the stories

it only brought up more intrigued and mystery into these disappearance

with even more unanswered questions.

Soon Paulides started dedicating his life

to understand these mysterious disappearances.

And mystery just doesn't cut it,

I mean this is getting into real life Stranger Things here

and Paulides even started to think in this direction.

During a talk at the University of Toronto

Paulides said it was "It's like something out of the X-files"

So this isn't just some paranormal hobbyist,

this guy seriously has dedicated his life to help figure out

and understand what is happening with these missing person cases.

He also collected over 2,000 cases that have similar mysterious characteristics.

To date Paulides has some 2000 missing cases documented related to national parks

but this is where the weirdest part comes in,

there is no requirement from our government to keep a national record

for people who go missing on Federal Land.

Why, that's the big question everybody is asking.

But if you count the missing people in the U.S. as a total,

it is a whopping 650,000 just in 2017!

I mean this isn't remotely funny, this is crazy.

Of course that also counts parents abducting their own children to avoid child support,

but this is a huge number.

But for the 1600

which some say is a very low estimate,

has missing people range from all ages and all ends of the spectrum

when it comes to age and mental capacity.

Some have mental problems,

some are actually extremely brilliant and accomplished people.

Even when the movie Missing 411 requested this info

they were told that there were no records

and to deliver one would cost the production company $1.4 million

which was probably more than the film cost to make.

So the other interesting fact is that the Secretary of Interior

is the person who oversees the U.S. national parks,

he is appointed by the president.

Ken Salazar held this position during Obama's first term

and was interviewed by the Missing 411 film crew.

He was asked asked if there was public records

and he just said, "I don't recall."

when we were watching this,

I thought it was odd that the only thing in this room

was a telescope that was pointing at a building

For some reason, and look what's the name on the telescope

Saturn

If you haven't watch our saturn videos you probably want to go do that now.

So now that's just the name of the company,

but it is kind of odd that it is the only thing in the room.

Maybe the film crew left this in on purpose,

I mean having the telescope named Saturn might just be a coincidence.

But this is isn't normal to have this being the only thing in there, is it?

pointing at building

Now, when Ken was asked about records kept

he said there is no record keeping of searches

which seems very stupid

because how would you ever know what worked or didn't work

or find patterns for future searches.

That just screams red flag,

also it was would very easy to hide things

so no reports need to be filed or written up.

But let's get into some of these super weird cases.

So according to Paulides

many of these cases are clustered in certain areas,

particularly around bodies of water in national parks.

If the people are found alive, they often have memory loss.

If they are found dead, the cause of death is hard to determine.

The people are often found in an area it seems they could not have reached by foot

such has on a steep rocky cliff,

or they are found in a location

that has already been thoroughly searched.

People are often missing clothes and shoes.

Search and rescue dogs are strangely unable to pick up the scent,

Paulides said at the University of Toronto.

Some canine handlers have told Paulides their search dogs act strangely,

walking a little ways, circling, then sitting down.

Now, many people claim that dangerous wildlife are the cause of these disappearances,

but there is never any mauled bodies,

tracks from animals, clothes ripped from an animal or blood anywhere.

Also not to mention in the last 100 year

there has only been 14 fatal mountain lion attacks in the U.S. and Canada combined.

So this doesn't hold up at all.

The other aspect is that a family member or parents killed the child or person.

You'd think that there'd be way more mountains lions attacks in Canada,

Canada is like mountain lions jungles I think, just kidding.

I am sure that in some cases this is sad

but most law enforcing agencies usually come about

and rule out the parents.

But there is one family who is being accused

but when you listen to their testimony

and the fact they have been out every day since their son was missing….

This just doesn't add up.

No

The issue is people want answers so they start pointing fingers to fill this gap.

But there are also so many things that the parks are also covering up

that this is why we think the deep state is involved.

For example there is no federal standards for terrestrial search and rescue

according to Robert Koester,

author of the search and rescue guidebook "Lost Person Behavior".

So again this means that rules and regulations are loose on national parks.

But ok let's get into some of these cases…..

In one case back in 1952,

2- year-old Keith Parkins walked around the family barn

and suddenly disappeared.

200 people were called to his rescue when his family couldn't find him.

They searched everywhere.

Hours after he was missing and 3 miles as the crow flies of his last location,

a small amount of tracks from a toddler were found.

They started out of nowhere and seem to end nowhere as well.

19 hours later, his body was finally found lying face down in the snow

another 8 miles away which was in a dense area on top of a very rocky cliff.

His father picked him up

and realized he was still breathing with scratches on his face.

Some of his clothes were found lying around him.

He ended up being ok

but never could remember what happened

or how he was able to walk through 12 miles of snow

and tough dense terrain in 19 hours while only 2 years old.

I mean it seems most logical that you would just go back to the barn.

Another eerie fact is that most of the missing persons are often found

in bodies of water, but they didn't die of drowning.

Almost as if their body was placed there.

Jelloni Brinson, a 24-year-old college soccer star

whose body was found in a golf course pond in Anoka, Minn.

He went missing from a friends' home in 2009,

investigators found his hat in one backyard nearby, and his shoes in another.

But this is the unbelieve part,

It had been raining for days previously

and the golf course was muddy.

Brinson's socks were completely clean.

So he was placed in the pond by either someone or something.

Also Paulides said that he didn't drown,

The cause of death remains undetermined to this day.

In January of 2014 in Whitby, Ontario,

Jeffrey Boucher went missing after going out for a morning run

and never came back.

His wife said that he would come home,

change his clothes kiss her goodbye and head for work.

His mp3 player, some running clothes, His glasses and wedding band were all missing.

Soon everyone was out looking for him.

Police ruled out suicide and any foul play from his wife.

Police found thirty-five-hundred dollars in a desk

at the school that he taught

but school officials said that he was collecting this money for a skiing trip with his wife.

Months later his body washed up on shore at Lake Ontario,

but the weird thing is according to Paulides his body was frozen but the lake wasn't.

Also a book came out saying it was a suicide yet no evidence ever suggested it was.

One of the more recent and disturbing disappearances is

Deorr Kunz Jr.

which is also the main family featured in "Missing 411"

and one that has gotten the most attention from all news outlets

and law enforcement agencies.

Deorr was 2-and-a-half years old

when he vanished at Timber Creek Campground near Leadore Idaho.

His parents Jessica Mitchell and DeOrr Kunz Sr.,

asked him if he wanted to go with them

but he said he wanted to stay with his grandfather

so he walked back over to him.

His grandfather said that he saw him,

and then he went inside the trailer for 10 min

and when he came out back to fish with his friend Isaac Reinwand,

DeOrr came running up asking where little Deorr was.

No one knew and that is when the panic set in.

Jessica and DeOrr Sr. got in their car

to find a signal for their phone to call for help,

because there was no signals near that area.

They got through and then the madness set in with the media,

search teams came,

and they started accusing the parents

all while going through the nightmare of losing your child.

They started to give press conferences

but soon quit talking to the media

which gave then rise to all kinds of speculations that they were the ones that did it,

or maybe it was the Isaac, the friend, or the grandfather.

The family finally hired a private investigator,

but I'll get into that a little bit later

and now this private investigator is about to release his own videos in October

interviews that he had with these parents,

and it seems that he's about ready to blame the parents

for their son's disappearance.

However, watching Missing 411

they explain that the media was twisting and misquoting them,

no surprise there,

so that is why they stopped

and spend their whole weekends and their own money still searching for their son.

They are not giving up hope

This just doesn't add up.

The issue is people want answers

so they start pointing fingers to fill this gap

that is filled with mystery.

But there are also so many things that the parks are also covering up

that this is why we think the deep state is involved.

Somehow involved.

There hasn't been a single trace of clothes, bones, foot prints,

nothing has been found which makes this really bizarre

and gives rise to lots of speculation.

The family believes he was abducted somehow.

The only thing ever found was by Jessica

which was a shovel which had a blonde hair on it

but when the team moved it, The wind blew it

And it was never found again.

Now we wanted to look a little bit into this private investigator,

he said he quit but the family said they fired him.

What is interesting is that there are a few sites dedicated to call him out on fraud charges

such as this site: ViaView Files

and another one insinuating he has over 50 lawsuits against him.

Might wanna do your research before hiring a investigator.

He's got some credibility on his website,

but when we look into him, these things keep popping up.

Jeez.

Some of these go waaay back such as 6-year-old Lillian Carney who disappeared in 1897.

She was picking blueberries,

and by the way many reports say people go missing picking fruit,

with her parents when she just was not there.

They searched for over an hour

and finally got more people to help

and by morning over 200 people were searching.

The following day over 300 people were looking for her

and that is a lot of people back in 1890

helping out since of course phones didn't exist.

So they finally found her after days out of nowhere,

and she couldn't remember anything that happened,

but the weirdest part is, she said it was daylight the entire time she was missing.

Entire time, how long?

Like 48 hours.

Daylight the entire time?

Daylight the entire time.

Where was she, the north pole?

Time slip?

This is bizarre.

This is why everyone is questioning these things.

So let' s go into conclusion, what is happening?

Well the more we researched this,

the more connections we found

and one case was so shocking to us

that from this we knew this has to be a cover up.

But the question is, if it's a cover up for what?

But this is where the truth becomes stranger than fiction.

Because these cases don't follow normal patterns

you need to expand your thinking into all possibilities.

In Paulides' own words "Folks, I have never given you a theory.

I have given you a series of facts,"

"What happens if I come out and I tell you,

'It's that.'

And then the next day somebody comes out and proves it can't be that.

My credibility is shot."

Now when you dig,

you start realizing Paulides talks about the paranormal a lot outside of the mainstream realm.

And one common theme and rather hard to except to the average people would be...

Aliens.

No don't laugh yet.

Yea we are not talking about little green men coming from the sky

and abducting people.

This would be a very highly organized top secret

cabal type facilities that we are talking about here.

We already know by talking to so many insiders that secret military bases do exist.

Also the search teams seem to be covering up evidence

and what really is the job of the the Secretary of Interior,

to assist or to cover up?

And who knows if there are bases under these parks.

But we will get into all the details of this

and the most mysterious missing persons case we found in our next episode.

Also we said earlier that 650,000 people missing alone in just the U.S. last year?

Millions of people around the world go missing

and what is happening?

We get into this on the next show as well.

But we don't like leaving on a negative note.

You guys might be wondering what can we do?

For starters, don't go wander off in parks

or especially national parks alone.

Take GPS devices with you,

stay together and pay attention to your surroundings,

bring water and food.

Also make sure you know the people you are with.

If you need to report something,

it is better to call you local police

and if you have some information on someone

or you know something you can call crime stoppers.

Try to stay calm when you are calm you can think things more clearly.

It's kind of hard to say.

Comment on these cases if someone does go missing.

Also, I know this sounds kind of bad,

but don't just blindly trust everyone you meet.

Do your own research too.

But seriously, if the parks released the number of missing people,

all of us might would most likely be afraid to go there alone.

Which is probably why they don't do this.

Alright you guys, what did you think of our episode of missing people?

Please hit like and subscribe if you like this content.

So we can keep producing more of it for you guys

and until next time we'll see you out on the edge.

And stay tuned definitely for our next one

which we'll blow your minds,

how crazy it gets.

Indeed.

Disapperances.

John Chose West Coast for his HVAC, AND Solar! You'll Never Believe What He Said About Our Services - Duration: 2:16.

Hi i'm john and I live here in Fallbrook, CA and we decided to install a solar system on our house

as well as switching our heating and cooling from propane to electric and we got West Coast to do that renewable resources

Like, solar energy, or wind energy i think are really important for the planet that, was part of the decision the other

Is that out here were on propane and propane is fairly expensive and we're

Also in a in the zone that gets frequent fires i decided i wanted to move away from propane and go

All-electric with the solar, system, we started interviewing a few different companies

And we found West Coast online, and just reading how, well they were rated and

Decided that we would get a bid from them and it became clear that, we wanted to go with somebody

Who could, do the whole process you know instead of having

One company doing a solar and another company doing the heating and air the west coast gave us the best package

Deal on that mike came out to just meet with, me and talk about what, we wanted he really seemed to

Understand the technology behind, what he was selling, he, wasn't just a salesperson and?

He did a more thorough assessment of our unit here being any of the other people

Did the process went so quickly after that work i have a, challenging place

For people to work at you know i have a lot of animals here i have nine dogs and

They, worked around everything very, well the crew. That came out, we just they showed up when they said, they were going to show up

And they worked efficiently all day it was much less hassle than i was thinking it was gonna be very little disruption to our daily

flow of things

I love it this has been a dream for a long

Time actually to be as much off the grid as possible yeah i would recommend West Coast to anyone because the level of professionalism the

Efficiency the craftsmanship of the work they do is all excellent

'Pathetic!' Arsenal fans tear into Bayern Munich 'hypocrites' after media blast - Duration: 3:19.

Arsenal fans have slammed Bayern Munich bigwigs Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge after they led a remarkable press conference in Germany

The press conference was called on Thursday night and the announcement led to much speculation as to what it would be about

There were even rumours that it could be to appoint Arsene Wenger as manager.  But when Hoeness and Rummenigge sat in front of the media it was to defend their players from what they claimed had been "degrading, slanderous" criticism from reporters - especially when on international duty

"It's an important day for FC Bayern because we want to tell you that we will not put up with it anymore," said Rummenigge

"We will not let this degrading, slanderous reporting as of today. We will protect our players, our coach and the club

"We are not looking for the blame on the media. If you do not play well, you deserve no praise

But we want a report of a factual nature."  The press conference has caused a huge stir and Arsenal fans have been quick to pick up on what has been said, especially following Hoeness' public criticism off Mesut Ozil following the World Cup and Ozil's decision to retire from international football over what he felt was racial discrimination

At the time, Hoeness said: "Ozil has been playing s**t for years. He won his last tackle before the 2014 World Cup

All he is doing on the field is playing cross passes. Now he hides himself and his crap performance behind this photo

"Whenever we played against Arsenal, we played over him, because we knew he was the weak point

"  Hoeness was asked about those comments at Friday's press conference in light of his complaints and replied: "I should not have said [he played] s**t, but crap

"My opinion of Mesut is clear: I wanted to make a point of pointing the topic at sport

I wanted to divert it from racism and integration."  But Arsenal fans have blasted the Bayern chief and labelled him as a hypocrite - Here's a selection of what they've been saying

ONLY IN MALAYSIA - THINGS THAT ARE NORMAL ONLY TO MALAYSIANS - Duration: 15:35.

Hey guys what's up, it's rain lee, welcome to my channel! If this is your first time here...

don't forget to leave a like, subscribe and turn on notifications and if you're returning hit that

"like" button so um before I keep going, today I'm gonna be talking about things that we...

Malaysians consider normal. Don't forget to check out my patreon!

The link is down in the description below and if you become a patron, you will get access to

exclusive behind-the-scenes videos from my vlogs and exclusive content that I

haven't uploaded to YouTube at all, and some exclusive trivia and Q&A sessions.

As well and access to my snapchat - my personal snapchat.

So first thing, laughing with our mouths open. We love a good laugh.

Instead of just saying "lol", most of us just like laugh out loud.

When my friend from Japan came here, for the first few months, she...

...always covered her mouth when she laughed. I was like "Why?" "Oh", she said,

"it's rude to laugh with your mouth open in Japan" so it's customary, normal for

us here but it's really rude in Japan. I'm gonna go I'm gonna start with the

things that are considered like normal here and then more and more countries

that where they are in the sequence of how many countries there are. Next one, giving a thumbs up. Okay so I

decided to to give a thumbs up to my friends from the Middle East and then they just

looked at me as if i offended them and I was like "why?"

They were like, "Oh, that's like giving the (middle) finger in the Middle East."

It was their first time in Malaysia.

Next one, this is a personal experience so I went to a restaurant in KL it's chef is a

French chef cooking general Western food like Italian fusion stuff, but it's a

French chef so I ordered pasta because I'm a vegetarian and, uh, I asked for...

chili sauce and pepper because I like spicy food. Then the chef came out and asked,

"Is everything all right?" and I'm like "Yeah!" so later on I Googled it...

That was the first time a chef ever came out of kitchen to ask questions to me.

According to Google it turns out the French don't really like you asking for condiments with your meals (cause it might be like saying the chef didn't cook well)

...and so many other countries are the same as well.

So, I know Malaysia is a food Haven and these countries have like the fine

culinary touch you know like those

like France but the "food is so good", so they expect you not to put condiments but

like I said I'm Malaysian I love my spicy food I love my chili sauce Carl of

it like when we go to McDonald's they give us like a lot of packets of chili

sauce like okay I heard from like people who my summer friends went to the UK

over there you had to pay for chili sauce are you kidding me my dad went to

Japan before and he said that you have to you when you order the roti Chen

either in the Malaysian restaurant over there they charge you for the DA in

Malaysia dad is free on the house non-stop unlimited supply of that in

fact um you know in Chinese restaurants right over here you get that how you get

the vinegar the chilli PADI the garlic ginger and everything I heard from my

friend who's been to a Chinese restaurant in like the US or the UK they

said that all chilli and ginger is and garlic is usually not provided sports a

bit weird because I thought that was the Asian restaurant thing but turns out

it's not it's a Malaysian thing oh yeah cuz when I went to China right the only

had one thing on the table soy sauce then no garlic and chilli and ginger and

people on a school trip so I asked the waitress can I have ginger and she was

like oh but you have to pay for it I'm like ok never mind

yes what it's my story about condiments I've experienced so much oh okay and

this was really rooting in China okay so you know in Malaysia right we will call

the waiter waitress or waitresses ciate which means little sister okay lemon cut

not cheap which is auntie we call them bang my child all these like slang terms

you know I went to China I caught the reality it's just staring me like one

thing you know and then my friends were trying to look at me and say like you

know alright when you call someone shouting in China it seems as if like

you're trying to pick them out oh by the way guys I'm not wearing glasses right

now because if I wear my glasses you can see the reflection it's really really

really distracting number two I'm not reading from a script' I'm just saying

when I want to stay and my hair so messy I'm saying why I want to stay so there's

no need for me to read on the script right now anyway yeah so the retrace was

a bit pissed at it I guess my friend told me and now I know so guys don't

ever do that in China oh and um don't go around releasing your hand up and

whistling to call this stuff because that's kind of rude now the countries as

well it's just normal here you go to Singapore

maybe yeah okay if it go to Brunei I don't know I haven't been to put that

before but it could have a countries like the US and UK totally different

culture you do this you're just if you stare and you're just ignore you because

that constant that being rude oh and yeah Malaysia right we like to take

taxis and we stay at the back you sit at the back but there are countries where

you might seem like you're treating them it's like a chauffeur or servant

this one is more though some former British colonies yeah I guess because

that's how I first used to work like it's different in New York City in the

US because the cabbies there all have like this door dividing the front but

and the front and back so normal but other countries know like

cabbies there don't have that I don't know why I'm saying cabbies cabbies oh

okay talk about finishing food but right back to food again so yeah be Malaysians

are like crazy food but when I went to China I finish off my food in the

restaurant and they give unlimited supply right so the waitress asked me

what you like more I was like over no tax there are some in China you're

supposed to like leave a bit of food on your plate or if it's me just leave the

point over there and don't throw it away to show your host at your food but I

find that's a bit of a useful to be honest and I don't I don't take a lot of

Chinese practices culture a mainland Chinese because my friends from mainland

China said like oh we don't do that and talk about blowing nose in public I once

was called it by like okay so I was on a train and there was this British guy on

the train and I Artie when I was in public and he was like don't do that man

okay he was probably like 24 and I was like 16 it was like don't do them and I

was like I'm having cold he's like oh you should probably wear masks so guys I

wanted to talk something a little bit great about our local culture

I didn't the British guy on the train I want to talk about all Malaysian culture

so I was sitting on the RT a few months ago I think I was like um I was sick at

a time earlier this year um I take the RT almost every day at the point I'm so

the same people almost every day because I went back from class at the same time

almost every day so on Monday I remember going coming back from school now coming

back in class and I was really sick it was probably around like five or six pm

my class my class finished like 240 but I stayed in library I wore a mask and

everyone just literally stood up as if I had a bubonic the I was sitting on the

chair and even this poor senior citizens got up so I decided to say okay I'm

gonna stand up and the old lady sat down like the rest of the people just

continue standing up I won't even further next day I removed the mask I

didn't bear it and people were like wear a mask man I'm like yesterday I had to

make the only leaf stand up because I wore a mask and sat down today you guys

are telling me to wear a mask and they're like then they realized oh okay

and they finally realized that what they were doing is wrong because okay guys

just a room just remember okay if someone is very a mass in public and

still in public Shirley Shirley Shirley the disease is

not as contagious as the bubonic plague like I did it if someone has the flu you

wanna stay away from them but it's not necessary to get up on the

seat as I come in to trade and go to the other carriage okay that's a bit

offending honestly yeah it's a bit offending

okay so let's think about any more route things yeah we're gonna talk about now

okay now we're going to talk about stuff that is spear in Malaysia

we're in other countries but cool in Malaysia so um the fact that we can

speak so many languages okay most of us can speak so many languages and the they

are very confused at this they think that we all speak Malay knitting we

almost it's bad guys were not almond even on not all Muslims okay we speak

Malay English Mandarin and Tamil and some other Indian and Chinese dialects

and even believe that likes and orang asli language car design and a bandeau

soon other stuff and we practice some of us practice this lab some of us practice

Buddhism like me and some of us practice Christianity some of us practice

Hinduism and some of us Sikhism so that's like five big religions in

Malaysia and that's like more than five big languages in Malaysia the West

Malaysia there are four in East Malaysia there are six and there's a lot of

cultures in Malaysia as well the Malays Chinese Indians and the East Malaysians

there's so many ethnic groups to live for their own ski so we are all not just

one race we're all not just we are one nationality we are one country we all

live together in harmony okay yeah

and number two they don't understand like they seriously don't understand how

we can eat nasi lemak chakra cow on this stuff for breakfast we can eat all these

noodles five you will also break first you know you don't understand it you're

like you're supposed to eat great like do you know we always say like the roti

pakka or this team and the LaMotta is it a no matter matter is that hardball

softball eggs classic Malaysian breakfast right you know what's the last

time I had that last time I had that was like tree for fun last time had that was

five months ago you know I haven't had that big first in five months I had it

for dinner always leave I never had it for breakfast in five months so we

always because humans yeah I was mostly rice noodles and rice and noodles and

they just mind boggle it's very another countries honestly I

said by sex sex sex ECT no yeah except Singapore K they don't find it because

they also do it but the rest of the world Americans are like wow how can you

eat rice for breakfast and then you have the Middle Easterners when I when I eat

some bars for breakfast in front of them huh how could you be that spicy thing

for breakfast I'm like I love it and it's like so many so many types of food

and they just find it mind-boggling how we can travel to another state to eat

like if you live in the US right you probably wouldn't travel to another

state to eat if we were different Singapore you don't have to travel to in

the state to eat no no he don't Singapore case Singapore is nice food um

for each their own some of us might like Singapore tamil as

my language and food I think that's pretty much it I have

four things that inhalation this was the normal that IV it for some or the rest

of the ball or the readers one for the and higher and higher and higher world

is some probably or shopping malls okay our shopping malls open at 10:00 and

they open slightly earlier than that 9:30 the doors already open and they

close at 10:00 p.m. and they don't literally close their doors I tell ya I

had been to some pyramid like 11 p.m. and most of the shops some of them are

still open like go to Asian Avenue or seem a still have shows around that and

you got a food cart some shops might still be open he live closer said like

can because they are franchise McDonald's closed at 10:00 because they

are franchise but those non franchised shops they closed really really late

because like 30 minutes past operating hours which is not something wrong it's

actually beneficial okay and yeah you only get to enjoy the

privilege in Malaysia true the Asia so yeah I appreciate what you have in

Malaysia and just in the order oh whatever I say early on you know may not

be 100 percent accurate for all the countries and all the people in all the

countries because the world it's actually diverse place we just have to

understand that everyone might have different personal values and personal

beliefs as well so one person doesn't represent an entire country and just

like that the majority of the country necessarily represent a person either so

if you guys enjoyed that don't forget to Like subscribe and turn on notifications

and if you guys have more like fun facts about Malaysia and stuff and feel like a

fellow Malaysian you just want to share with me your stories about um what

you've done overseas that seem pretty rude oh we're all wrong

I'm shared the story is down below in the comments and just don't forget to

check out my patreon you'll get exclusive content link will be down

below in the description and see you guys

Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud - Duration: 2:25.

I have a problem I need to solve fast.

My boss wants me to implement a new system that can handle an

explosion of data and transactions, and that we can scale

up and down as needed as our workloads change.

It has to be flexible and ready to deal with many types of data.

And, it has to be live in 30 days.

The development team loves Oracle NoSQL database,

but I'm worried we'll need more infrastructure as our needs grow.

I want to make sure that we'll be able to integrate with the

Oracle Database for back-end work, and do analytics using

Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.

To get started, I'll need to put out an RFP

for servers,

put out RFP for networking,

put out RFP for storage...

Yeah...that too....and...

and...and. Wait! Ihave a better idea.

If I use an Oracle cloud service I'll get

fast storage for data retrieval. I can use Oracle

NoSQL Database cloud service. It has everything I need.

We're planning a big promotion during the holiday and I

know I'll need more throughput and storage capacity

to be able to handle the increase in web traffic and sales activities.

With Oracle NoSQL Database Cloud Service I can increase

both of them easily, and transparently.

And when the promotion is over, I can reduce them

without any interruption to my application,

keeping customers happy and engaged.

It's fast and I'm only paying for what I need.

It's a fully managed service so I'll be able to concentrate on my

new application, without worrying about the infrastructure like

software maintenance and various tuning parameters.

No more acquisition costs of servers, storage,

networking, or having to pay for extra cooling and electricity.

The data is critical.

Oracle understands enterprise class databases

and has security I can trust.

I'll be able to integrate with Oracle products to create a

state-of-the-art data management solution.

It has flexible data models and consistent and

predictable performance. As well as a full

transactional model.

and I can keep using the Oracle

NoSQL Database in my data centers as well as use the cloud service

Oracle has created a true hybrid cloud service.

No other cloud provider can do that. With Oracle

NoSQL Database Cloud I don't have to spend a lot

of time or money to develop and implement a new solution.

No problems now. With Oracle NoSQL

Database Cloud Service, I've got the ideal solution.
