Youtube daily Oct 4 2018

-Congratulations on what must've been

an incredibly exciting year.

-It's been -- Yeah, it's been okay.

-Yeah. -Not too shabby, you know?

-You know, even before "Crazy Rich Asians" came out,

I had enjoyed reading you.

You were very outspoken

and spoke very eloquently about representation.

-Yes. -What has been the feedback

you've gotten after the success

of "Crazy Rich Asians" this summer?

-Mostly it's been tears.

-That's wonderful to hear. -It depends on

what kind of tears, but they were the good kind.

-I was imagining it was the good kind.

-Yes, it just -- -It was like, "I didn't want

you guys to get together at the end!"

-Yeah, like, "Why did I have to watch you on the screen?!"

Not those kind of tears.

I mean, it's just -- Because it's so rare.

It's been 25 years since we've seen

an all-Asian cast lead a Hollywood movie in English.

-Yeah. -You know, and so --

[ Cheers and applause ]

Great, right?

And sometimes you don't know what you're missing

until you see it. -Sure.

-So, I think a lot of people,

when they saw it, moved them to tears.

'Cause representation equals possibility.

And so... [ Cheers and applause ]

-And when -- I imagine there was

going into it, and now there's a great release

because it was so well-received,

did you feel the pressure going into it as a cast?

Did you realize, "Oh, this is --"

You know, it seemed very unfair, but the fact this is only

the first time in 25 years, if this doesn't go well,

will it be another 25 years? -Yeah.

I mean, somebody's gotta do it, the first one, right?

-Right. -It's a lot of pressure

and expectations, and we were definitely

all very stressed and nervous but also excited

'cause we loved working with each other.

And it was such a special experience for us

'cause all the actors on that movie

were used to being the one token Asian in the cast,

except for me, with "Fresh Off the Boat."

-But, you know, doing this movie,

no one ever felt like they had to try to fit in

or explain themselves.

We just got to be.

-And that just -- It seems so --

You know, when you think about it,

everybody else who's on a movie

never has to also worry about that part.

They just go do their job

and don't have to worry about fitting in.

So it must have been so nice. And obviously, it showed,

because it was such a wonderful piece of work.

So, congratulations again. -Thank you.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-I know you grew up in Virginia. -Yes.

-You lived in New York for a bit.

You're in L.A. now. -Yes.

-This is very -- I don't know if "exciting"

is the right word, or scary, but you had a burglar?

-I did! And it was such an L.A. burglary.

-Okay. -Because, um --

-They left a head shot?

[ Laughter ]

-No, it was -- Okay.

It was a girl. -Okay.

-'Cause I have security cameras on my property, so I saw it.

And she did a fashion show with my clothes

for me in my yard by going back and forth.

And then -- Okay, this is a little weird.

She took a shower in my house.

[ Audience groans ]

But she took a [bleep] on my patio.

[ Audience screams, laughter ]

And I have it on tape, guys. -Yeah.

-Okay. It gets better.

It gets better, because the police and detective

who came and, you know, checked everything else, they --

they took the [bleep] as DNA evidence.

-Oh, my God.

[ Laughter and applause ]

-What a job. -What a job.

-I know. [ Laughter ]

-I also feel like she might've thought she got away with it,

and she was like, "I didn't leave any fingerprints.

Oh, no!"

[ Laughter ]

"Oh, no."

You are a big fan of musical theater, yes?

-Mm-hmm. -You named --

You have a rabbit that you named --

What did you name your rabbit? -I named her Lida Rose

after a song from the musical "The Music Man."

-Okay. You posted a video of Lida Rose.

-Yes. -This is --

Was she eating lettuce? Is that what she's doing here?

-Probably parsley, but let's --

-Let's take a look, and we'll see.

-That's parsley. -Okay.

[ Audience "Awws" ]

[ Laughter ]

It's really fun how little

Lida has to move the rest of her body to eat.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

-Do you think Lida looks like -- -Wait.

Sorry. Do you have to move the rest of your body when you eat?

-That's how you -- [ Laughter ]

That's how I burn the calories. I'm constantly --

I get a Subway sandwich, I get right on the treadmill.

[ Laughter ]

That's a very fair observation about the fact that...

[ Laughter ]

I apologize to Lida Rose for burning --

-Yeah. Being bunnyist.

You know?

You think she looks like a Hollywood actor.

-Um...yeah.

-All right. Let's put Lida Rose back up,

and then you tell us who -- who you think she looks like.

-I mean, do I even have to say it?

Jeremy Irons. -I don't --

[ Laughter ]

-Now, at first, I was like, "That's not fair.

Jeremy Irons doesn't look anything like Lida Rose."

And then we pulled a photo, and I'm like,

"All right, ballpark."

[ Laughter ]

It's definitely --

-I'm thinking of having her apply to be his stunt double.

-That'd be great. [ Laughter ]

-A flying rabbit, like, jumping off a plane.

I don't know. -Are you --

Is Broadway something you'd want to do again?

Are you gonna see shows when you're here?

-Well, I have to go back to L.A. tomorrow.

Otherwise, I would see, like, every show I could,

and, like, my biggest goal right now

is to come back and do Shakespeare in the Park.

-Oh, that's fantastic. -Yeah, so.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-Well, based on all your other success,

I can't imagine that won't happen.

It is such a delight to meet you.

Thank you so much for being here.

-Thank you. It was a pleasure to be here.

-Aww! -You wrote a book.

-I know. What? -It's so cute.

-It's so cute. -No. I loved --

-So unexpected.

-It is, and I did not expect this from you.

-I know.

-How did you come up with "My Wish for You"?

-I wrote a letter for the "Lenny Letter,"

you know, that Lena Dunham thing.

-Oh, yeah. "Lenny." -Yeah.

-And Scholastic -- It was not for children,

this thing I wrote for them,

but Scholastic approached and said,

"Would you ever consider turning this into a children's book?"

And I was like, "I had not, but I will."

And, so, they very sweetly and organically helped me

turn this into a little book for kids.

It's so cute.

-But you said it came from you reading to your daughter?

-Yeah, like, little -- You know, I have a 9-year-old now,

who was then 6 when I -- when we wrote it.

And she -- It was just my little girl and I, like,

laying in bed at night, and we were just listening

to her kind of talk about --

just monologuing as, like, little kids do

and just hearing her, like -- just hearing her kind of, like,

self-possession and her confidence

and her just, like, full voice, like, authenticity.

I thought, "Oh!

I just want to, like, capture this for her."

And so it kind of came out of that.

So I couldn't be prouder. It's real cute.

-Aww.

-Yeah. Yeah. -Does she see the book?

-Yeah. -Has she read the book?

-Yes. But she's not getting any of the profits from it at all.

-Okay. That is -- No, you have to let her do that.

-No.

-I just want to read the last line.

"Because you are the only you."

-Yeah. -I love it.

I have two little girls. They're going to love it.

-Oh, please, read it to them. -Absolutely. I love it.

-Okay, good, good. Yeah.

-I'm so psyched that you're here,

'cause you're here with Bradley Cooper,

two of my favorite people.

Have you ever worked with Bradley?

-No, I haven't.

But I'm so excited about -- I'm so excited to see his movie.

-Yeah. Gaga is fantastic. -Lady Gaga. I know.

-Yeah.

-I weirdly have a weird connection to Lady Gaga.

-Why? -I once -- This is a while ago.

I was -- This was right after "Step Brothers."

I was doing -- Will and John C. Reilly

were hosting a charity event.

They asked me if I would come on to help them

with a sketch as Lady Gaga, like, as a part of the sketch.

-Uh-huh.

-And, so, we did a real low-budge kind of costume,

like, Lady Gaga costume, where I think --

I recall it being, like, a couple of --

Like, there was a couple of, like, Hula-Hoops.

You know what I mean?

And there was, like, me in a unitard.

-Paper-towel holder. -Totally.

-Yeah, yeah. -Like, real, real low-budge.

And it was at the Nokia Theatre, which is enormous.

-Yeah. -But I got onstage.

It was like thousands of people,

which I also did not quite anticipate.

There was a curtain.

They, like, set it up like,

"Ladies and gentlemen, Lady Gaga!"

And I was behind this curtain. The audience freaks out.

I was like, "Oh..." -Yeah.

-They think it's really Lady Gaga.

-Oh, no!

-I was like -- The music was like --

All of a sudden, I was like, "Rah-rah, rah-rah-rah."

And, like, I couldn't -- I was like, "Oh, my God."

They're going think it's Lady Gaga.

They're in for it.

-Yeah, of course.

-I was, like, just kind of post my second child,

so it's not as cute.

I was like -- The curtain starts coming up,

I was like, "Rah-rah, rah-rah-rah."

But I am saying, for a second in that, like,

roar of that audience,

I was like, "I felt like the most powerful person."

-Just for one second.

-For one brief millisecond, I felt Gaga,

and I was like -- It was so powerful.

And then it turned to laughter.

But it was -- For a second, it was so powerful.

-Oh, wait.

-I'm so excited to see her in this movie.

-"Step Brothers" with Will, right?

-Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And John C. Reilly.

-And John C. Reilly. Oh, yeah.

I was wondering how you guys knew each other.

-Yeah, yeah, yeah. -Have your kids ever seen that?

Are they old enough?

-I mean, I am a horrible parent to admit that

I tried to show that to them.

They are not old enough.

And I turned it on and I realized very quickly

that I would have to fast-forward

most everything that I was in

and then most of everything else.

So they saw, basically, a 21-minute cut of "Step Brothers"

and they didn't understand anything.

And then there was, like, a lot of me fast-forwarding

and then like, "Catalina Wine Mixer,"

and then, like, a lot of fast-forwarding.

So they have no idea what the movie was about.

-Have they seen any of your films?

-They've seen, like -- Yeah.

You know, "Hotel Transylvania 3,"

which was cute.

-Oh, yeah! My kids love that. -Yeah, it's cute.

Yeah, they were excited. That was cute.

-Your buddy Paul Giamatti was here the other day.

-Oh, Giamatt. -I mean, come on.

-He's the best. -That guy is cooler than cool.

-Isn't he the coolest? -I love him so much. Yeah.

But, so, you're in this movie with him, Molly Shannon.

-Yes. -I love Molly Shannon so much.

-And do you want to set up this film, what it's about?

-Yes. It's called "Private Life."

It's coming out this Friday on Netflix and in movie theaters.

Written and directed by the great Tamara Jenkins.

And could not be more proud.

It's about a couple -- Paul Giamatti and myself --

that's kind of in a midlife crisis,

a dual midlife crisis, where they're trying to

start a family by any means necessary.

-Yeah. -I would say that. Yeah.

So they're in the thick of it, for sure.

-I want to show everyone a clip.

Here's Kathryn Hahn and Paul Giamatti in "Private Life."

Take a look at this.

-God! Look, we are doing everything we can,

short of kidnapping, to start a family.

Door number one.

Door number two is Project Genesis.

Should we open it and look and see what's inside?

Why don't you come over here,

'cause, just in case an animal runs out.

(LAUGHS)

Gosh, it doesn't want to open.

This is a metaphor.

This is not going to be an easy door to open.

It might look easy to open, but in reality it seems to be soldered shut.

I am about to confess to my mastermind group

that I've got some mindset issues.

OK. Let me get this out

and then you guys can go ahead and attack me.

So, what I'm here to talk about today is Project Genesis.

You guys know that this is something that I wanted to do for years.

Once Social Media Marketing World was over with

I had a lot of time on my hands

and I even have this thing

and somewhere in here is the idea for Project Genesis,

but I haven't...I haven't done it yet.

I've been stalling.

CLIFF: You stated, in your own words,

"I don't care if this actually fails."

MICHAEL: Right.

I personally believe that we learn from failure.

I don't mean that I want to be a failure.

I mean, like, I'm willing to try something

and if it doesn't work, shut it down, like My Kids' Adventures.

I might decide Project Genesis is not gonna happen,

but I wanna - I wanna keep going down the path

to have the information to make that decision

and right now I don't have any of that data.

CLIFF: But...but just a moment ago, when I asked you why you want to do this,

you did say, "I feel like I'm meant to do this.

"I'm supposed to do this."

MICHAEL: I do feel that way,

but I also felt like I was going to be the next Disney and that didn't happen.

LESLIE: Like, set a goal for the next week and then just go and do it.

MICHAEL: I'll choose almost anything else to do but this project.

And, you know, that's why I think it's a mindset thing.

RAY: Despite what you say, you don't want to do it.

And here's how I know -

if you wanted to do it, you'd be doing it,

'cause you're a doer.

What's the next action step?

And do it today.

MARK: A lot of this is alleviated

by going through the pile of shredded items.

To me, that's the clear next step here.

MICHAEL: What if I make a goal of getting through 500 of these

by the end of the day tomorrow?

CLIFF: I will accept that if you will agree

to get through ten of them within the next five minutes

and actually share 'em with us.

(MOODY ELECTRONIC MUSIC)

MICHAEL: So there you go. I've got through ten of 'em.

That was smart, Cliff. What were you trying to do there?

You were trying to just get me started, weren't you?

CLIFF: It's called momentum.

RAY: The beginning of this call, you were like this...

And now you're like this...

MICHAEL: That's right.

That's what I was hoping to get from you guys.

I just wrapped up my call with my mastermind

I asked the question, "If you could wave a magic wand

"and solve a big problem, what would it be?"

And it said, "I'd give my boss a new brain."

(LAUGHTER)

MARK: I thought you weren't going to reveal the project.

Now you've revealed it. It's brain replacement surgery.

How To CHOOSE FONTS For Your Designs - Duration: 7:36.

today I have a video all about how to choose fonts for your designs in a

step-by-step guide that will make choosing fonts that much easier for your

graphic design projects

so today how to choose fonts for your designs like with almost every single

design project that you're going to encounter the first thing that you need

to consider is your audience by nature your typography will communicate certain

emotions and certain feelings to the audience

so maybe the typography will suggest a playful nature or maybe a very serious

and sophisticated style so it's very important to have a clear idea of who

your audience are and what you want them to feel when they look at your design

are you designing something for a high end team of lawyers or maybe you're

designing something for a preschool nursery this is where you need to

consider the audience because everything about a preschool nursery design say a

logo or a flyer will be playful bright friendly and colorful the font is just

one aspect of the design as a whole and so needs to play into this style and the

emotion of the design in general so on the other side of things a business card

for a lawyer is going to be the opposite of this you need to look professional it

needs to look important and also strong so yeah you need to consider the

audience of the design and as ask yourself would someone wanting to hire a

lawyer be turned on or turned off visually with a playful friendly and not

so serious font on the front of the business card your typeface or the font

should represent a style expected by the audience for which design is intended so

choose your fonts that makes your design in vogue audience emotions three main

fonts that you want to consider are serif fonts D suggests tradition history

reliability and safety San serif fonts are more modern the contemporary and are

clean and then you have script fonts which had

a sense of feminism romance grace and elegance and a more personal

make sure your chosen font resonates with the design and ultimately the

audience so when choosing a font for your design instead of just hopping into

the font library on your computer it's a really good idea to brainstorm ideas

much like you would for a logo design brainstorm things like the qualities and

characteristics that you want the design to communicate that way when choosing a

font you already have a blueprint and that you can match up to your phone this

is important because every single typeface has its own mood or personality

so maybe it's serious maybe it's casual and playful or even elegant you're going

to need to figure out what their font says about itself and whether it fits in

with your design speaking of fonts and the personalities

they have I've seen a huge contrast in font style in an awesome font and

graphics bundle by the hungry JPEG they're not sponsoring today's video but

they did give to me the bundle for free which I'm here to show you guys today

for only $29 you can download this amazing collection of 39 fonts with the

commercial licenses and 655 graphics there is a limited time so make sure to

head over to the links in the description below and grab yourself this

really awesome offer there are many great fonts here all of which have the

licenses for you to use on your projects use my link in description below and

head over to the hungry JPEG and grab this outstanding October bundle today

someone once said that typography is like fashion or furniture for that

matter with rare functional exceptions the world doesn't need new clothing or

furniture designs that people want to look different or to evoke particular

feelings or fit with a particular look this is very true because we could

easily just use two or three funds for every single design ever made but we

then every font has a personality and a unique voice you need to consider what

the purpose of the font is for your design is it there to draw attention or

maybe it just needs to be subtle and merely supply information in detail

always consider the functional purpose of a font and then you can decide

whether or not the font fits the purpose

when choosing a font for your designs always think about the function as well

as the form there's no point in finding a typeface that takes all of the

creative boxes only to discover that it will actually work because it's not

legible on a design legibility means how easily read the font is so maybe the

kerning is very poor or maybe a simply just elaborate nature if the purpose of

the typography on a design is to be read easily it needs to be legible or if it's

just there merely to be an artistic addition that doesn't really matter but

you should always check the legibility of the font because people do need to

read the typography of course pairing fonts is a very handy skill indeed and

it's important for your designs so when choosing your fonts have in mind what

could be paired with it this will become useful in many situations and one great

example of this is on a poster we have a large heading and the main body of text

on the design pairing up fonts between contracts of bolt and lights is a great

way to create visual harmony on headings and subheadings using serif and the

sans-serif font is a quick way and an easy way to create harmony on your

design maybe a heading can be sans-serif and the main body of texts can be serif

and this is a great way to performs with ease

another great way of pairing fonts is to pair two fonts from the same family if

two fonts are within the same family they've been designed by the same person

or foundry unless they're almost guaranteed to work well together so yeah

remember the five points in today's video when you select in your next one

for your next design project and of course be sure to check the description

below because I've linked lists of great font pairs as well as the October bundle

for $29 over on hungry JPEG that really is a great offer

so snap it up before the time runs out if you want to boost your skills and

your awareness as a graphic designer make sure to subscribe to story graphics

if you have the nerdy like and share this content on social media if you do

find it useful and until next time guys does only feature today peace

Because I am a Woman To every person out there alive

You can stare and glare me You can question my character and my choices

I am not going to feel uncomfortable I am not going to hide behind the doors

I am not going to sit back and wait I am not going to calm down

You can stare at me back and forth You can roll your eyes at my back

You can shame my body You can damage my confidence

But I have just one thing to say to you all I am ready to take on this world

I am proud of who I am I am proud of what I do

And I am proud of who I become

الخارطة الشخصية و تفسير الحالة النفسية المرض النفسي بقلم عالمة الفلك د. نيفين ابو شالة - Duration: 8:58.

Mental illness

The psychological state is a fact and reality we live and see either in ourselves or in our relatives or at the very least we hear about in the social environment in which we live

Or on television in a program or drama series

Psychiatry is many and some are simple and can be treated with medication, simple follow-up and a treatment period of not more than a few days or weeks

And some of them are becoming more serious and need medication and the use of other means, such as sessions of psychological therapy, which is unique to the psychiatrist patient

To extract from himself what tired and exhausting himself and this treatment requires a relatively long time may continue for months and years

And psychological diseases, many of which are what we know by virtue of the repeated viewing of symptoms in our hearts or in close to us such as anxiety, emotional disorders, depression and extreme tension in the times of exams

And other diseases are less in the preparation of their cases may not know about one of us a lot and are more difficult to treat and deal with it, such as cases of addiction of various kinds

Chronic and chronic depression may cause a person to think of committing suicide

And schizophrenia or what we know schizophrenia

And autism, the situation that embodied the artist Ahmed Hilmi in his wonderful film sorry for the inconvenience

And paranoia, a situation that we call the paranoia and months of injury and embodied in the actions of Hitler and the Arab was Muammar Gaddafi, for example

And because these mental diseases are many and vary in their symptoms and impact significantly

We will talk about the astrological evidence that exists because of the positions of the planets and the angles between them in the personal map of each person

And gives signs of the possibility of exposure of a human to a specific psychological illness does not assert astrological signs and never say that do not believe it

A person is a wide-ranging cognition and a confessor in matters that God holds accountable for her and a journey in all that preserves his life

You have the act and can not change the pattern of your heartbeat

We will assign to each psychiatric illness specific signs in the personal map that indicate it

We will not talk about all these diseases, but we will provide a number of them and be a simple and simple model

Depression in the map

And start with the disease of depression, a disease common among the elderly, especially, unfortunately, even affects young people at the age of hope and departure and dream and this has many reasons

Depression and its implications in the personal map are

If you have number 8

The presence of the planet Saturn in the first house or the fifth house and be receding in the walk

The existence of a planet Saturn in any house bordering the Capricorn and the strongest if it was in the first house or the fifth or tenth

The presence of a square angle or negative interview between the planet Saturn in the first house and the planet Mars or Planet Pluto

The presence of many planets in the Tower of Capricorn leads to deep reflection and sometimes to the occurrence of a feeling of depression

Venus is affected in a map and emotional setbacks House 12 in the house of the first be concerned and internal confusion and depression appear from time to time

The second disease that we are looking for signs or signs in the personal map of humans indicates that the chances of it is schizophrenia or what we know schizophrenia or double personality

One of the most important observations that some people make mistakes is to say that the Gemini-born bisexuals are infected with schizophrenia and this is a common and incorrect mistake.

There is a difference between the duality of the Gemini born because of aerobic nature is an air tower changes his opinion and his outlook and lifestyle and temperament easily and at frequent intervals and the schizophrenia that we talk about

Schizophrenia are two people who are completely different from each other and are represented by one person, a situation that is somewhat stable in this pattern and the owner is already suffering from psychological instability and bad condition

The signs and astrological signs that indicate the possibility of a person with schizophrenia in his personal map

The presence of the sun in the Aquarius at a difficult angle is negative with the planet Uranus

The presence of a Saturn planet in the first house

The presence of two opposing planets in the psychological impact on the person Examples are the existence of planetary Jupiter and Saturn in the same house

Here we define two houses, namely the First House, which expresses the personality of man in front of society

And House X, which represents the social destination and social status of the person

Jupiter always imparts a positive feeling and a Saturnian planet conveys the burden, responsibility and gullibility of the person

Here we judge the inference of the strength of the position of each of the two planets as the buyer decreases its effect and does not decline Saturn reduces his senses

Chronic stress and anxiety

The third mental illness that we speak of astrological signs is stress and anxiety

These are known and famous cases and everyone is injured without exception, especially students at the times of examinations, but such tension and anxiety is normal and temporary and affects everyone

So we mean the state of tension and anxiety when it becomes a mental illness and chronic and disturbing the owner

That is, the person is always suffering from tension or in most of the time and of course this is put in a very difficult situation

What is the evidence on the personal map?

The presence of Mars in the first house is receding or associated with a negative angle with Saturn

Contrary to this former position that the planet Saturn replace Mars and continue the same angle between them

The presence of the planet Uranus in the first house or in the tenth house

The existence of the planet Uranus in the third house or the ninth house, which houses affect the study and examinations

The third house affects the school study, and the ninth house belongs to the university and academic studies

The planet Mercury is in the third house or the ninth house

Mercury's planet retreats at the birth of any house

The case of STRESS may appear to some people early and some of them show them in the event of Saturn's association with Saturn or being in a difficult situation with Uranus
