Trump's Own Climate Report Shows Dangers Growing All Over U.S. - Duration: 3:58.

This past Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, biggest shopping day of the

year, the federal government finally released its climate assessment report, and in that

report they basically told us that the time for action is now the time for talk has ended,

and if we do not act soon, we can expect catastrophe across the United States.

In fact, the report already tells us that we're already experiencing the effects of

climate change in every state across the US.

Every single state right now is dealing with the impacts of climate change.

According to this assessment released by Donald Trump's government.

Now, everything in this assessment stands in stark contrast to things that trump himself

has said things that other Republicans in dc have said and things that, uh, donald trump's

cabinet members have said, they don't want to talk about climate change.

Most of them don't think it's happening or they've been paid enough by fossil fuel interests

to say that it's not happening or that there's nothing we can do about it.

Or in the rare instance that it's a good thing.

But this report says otherwise it says that we're kind of screwed right now and if you

want to be even more screwed later, continue doing nothing, which is currently the path

that we're on with the trump administration.

There was one bright spot with this particular report and that was that for about 36 to almost

48 hours.

The media was talking about the impacts of climate change.

Politicians were talking about the impact of climate change and the fact that we need

to do something about it for almost 48 hours.

We had conversations about climate change or you may not think that's important, but

trust me, as somebody who has been discussing climate change for over a decade, somebody

who's been working on countering misinformation from right wingers and fossil fuel funded

groups for more than eight years.

I can tell you that 48 hours of coverage of actual climate change discussion in corporate

media is not something we have ever seen.

Even when we have the massive wildfires and the massive hurricanes and droughts and floods

and all that.

They don't talk about climate change.

But here, this past weekend, even though the administration attempted to bury the report

by releasing it on Black Friday, we still had conversations about it.

We have politicians that are coming into DC, newly elected representatives who are bringing

a fight for the climate with them.

We may finally get action, you know, typically a report like this would come out and it would

seem like, well all hope is lost, but it's not lost anymore.

Yeah, we're in a dire situation and we have to do something about it.

But for the first time since I've been talking about it, I'm actually optimistic about it.

I know I'm not optimistic that Donald trump is gonna do something about it, but I am optimistic

about these new comers in Congress who have already gotten some of the old guard Democrats

to join in with the idea of a green new deal.

We can take action and they want to take action and we're likely going to take action once

we get trump out of office.

Once we get these climate change, denying Republican out of office, the American public

wants action.

They've been wanting it for years, a majority of all parties, and now we finally have politicians

who want to put this on the front page.

As long as they keep up that fight and as long as the public pays attention, we will

get some good climate policy out of the Democrats, but only if we keep pushing them to do it.

Dr. BBQ's Delicious Burger Blend | BBQ&A | Southern Living - Duration: 11:35.

Oh, shanks are my favorite.

If ever I'm going to the electric chair,

I want some lamb shanks before I go.

(Robbie laughs)

(heavy rock music)

Hey everybody.

We're here at the Southern Living barbecue pit

with Ray Lampe a.k.a. "Dr. BBQ",

and we're gonna talk

about your delicious burger blend today.

(upbeat rock music)

Well, you know, if you're gonna serve a burger,

we're a barbecue restaurant,

right. Right.

But we're gonna put a burger on the menu,

you gotta have a great one!

It's chuck, brisket, and short rib.

I mean what else do you want? Love it.

Those are the three things that taste good on a cow.

Oh absolutely!

All those things sound so good together.

We're using salt and pepper

on everything around there.

Got it. We just felt like

that was the right way to do it.

It's not about these heavy rubs.

I think those are kind of gettin'

out of fashion. Huh.

I'm 'bout tired of it myself.

That's interesting to hear.

I'm a salt and pepper man myself,

so I love the fact that that's kind of

what you're leaning on.

Well, we hired a pitmaster

from a 100-year-old barbecue restaurant in Texas

to come work with us everyday, Oh wow.

and to him anything

but salt and pepper is kind of sacrilege.

Okay. So, between the

wood-fired flavor, and salt and pepper, and good beef,

Yeah. it's almost a shame

to put something else on there.

I figure like when, you know,

you get the good fat from the short rib,

the beefiness from the brisket,

and from the chuck roll,

I mean it seems to me like

these are gonna sort of like almost self-baste themselves.

Yeah, well we talked about the quality of those meats.

The fat that goes along with those cuts of meat,

is really tasty too.

Oh my God, some of the best!

(upbeat rock music)

So, we've got a lot of, uh,

a lot of sidecars here for this burger.

Tell me about these.

A couple of the guys at the restaurant

put this deal together.

I can't take credit

for inventing it, Okay, okay.

but I'm happy to own it.

Well, I've got this beautiful burger,

we've got a nice brioche bun.

When we talk about burgers,

we always want that ratio of meat-to-bun ratio

to be just right. Yes.

This is something we use in the restaurant

in a lot of dishes.

We call it our "Rattlesnake Queso".

Why "rattlesnake"? (Dr. BBQ laughs)

I know it sounds good, there's no rattlesnakes in there.

Aw, I was kind of hoping there would be,

actually. We've got this cheese

that they call Rattlesnake cheese, Rattlesnake Cheddar.

It's a white cheddar, an aged cheddar.

It's got tequila in it and Habanero.

Oh my God. But it was

a perfect fit for the sauce,

I love it. and a cool name.

This is a Comeback sauce.

Oh yeah. A very traditional

Southern ingredient. Right, right, right.

But ours has ghost pepper in it,

Okay. and the Kewpie mayo

makes ours special.

You know about Kewpie mayo? Oh, I love the Kewpie mayo.

Yes. The Japanese mayo?

Completely. It's so good.

I love it. And then we got

some house-made pickles.

We use a couple different veg in there

and pickle it. Yeah.

Gotta have a little bit

of tang on that burger. So you have the crunch.

Yeah, crunch and the tang.

And then last but not least,

this is something one of the kitchen guys came up with, too.

We call it "Leek Hay". I love that.

So, they take big leeks and they julienne them

and they drop them in the fryer.

You've got a lot of different textures.

We've talked about that, it's amazing,

but you've got all these different things.

I can see this everything-bite is gonna be intense.

We didn't want to just put lettuce and tomato.

We've got all that stuff.

If that's what you want on your burger, we'll do that,

but we thought this was a lot more fun.

Oh it sounds fun.

Well, let's get these things cooking so we can eat.

That sounds good to me!

(upbeat rock music)

Direct hot fire.

It is. 450, 500.

Yes, that is

every bit of that. That's how we run.

A little bit of sizzle,

that's what we want to hear.

Completely.

Are we gonna leave these covered?

We cook them uncovered?

Well, we want to sear 'em first, though.

Okay, yeah. 'Cause if we close

the lid down, it'll start to cook them.

They'll get cooked too fast. Sure.

I want to get them nice and brown

on the bottom. I love it.

I mean, I smell the fat rendering immediately.

Yep, exactly what you were talking about.

That quality fat, too.

It's a nice big, fat, burger. Yeah.

Probably about four to five minutes a side.

Yeah, isn't that nice when it's flaring up

a little bit? Oh man.

This is exactly how it should be going.

You can really see, like,

that crispiness starting around the edges.

No peeking yet, Robbie.

I know man. We've gotta resist the urge!

It's so hard.

A lot of guys will tell you,

"You should only flip a burger once" or a steaklet, ah.

Are you on board with that?

Situationally, I'm on board,

but a lot of times, I kind of just do what feels right

in a lot of situations. Sometimes, yeah.

Sometimes it needs a second flip.

Yeah. Don't get crazy about that.

But the key is, you do want to get it brown.

Don't start flipping it right away.

Absolutely. You wanna get a good brown

on the bottom. Absolutely.

I mean you truly nail that smell, you're right.

I mean, look at that.

That's not bad at all. Not bad at all.

See, again though, I wouldn't be afraid

to flip 'em one more time

if I need to. After this, yeah.

Get a little more caramelization if need be.

Oh, that looks really nice. But don't flip them

before they look like that.

That's a great place to be. I know.

Then you're gonna have a mess on your grill,

You're gonna not do the beef itself, justice.

I teach a lot of men

how to cook barbecue. Okay.

And they wanna make it

into a science project. Yeah.

"Well, that burger's eight ounces

"and my grill's 500 degrees,

"so it should take six minutes and 40 seconds."

Well that's just not how it works.

Not how it works, yes. You know?

When I start thinking too much about,

like I try not to think too much about,

times and numbers and all that.

When I'm cooking, I want it

to kind of be a free-flowing sort of thing.

Well, I think of it Use my senses.

as art more than science.

I guess that's

how I like to look at it Completely.

And what I'm gonna do now is close it.

Gotcha. 'Cause I think they're

probably still pretty rare in the middle.

Yeah. These are big burgers.

So, I'm gonna close it,

but when we close it now,

now they're sort of roasting too.

We've got it well browned. Right.

'Cause that heat is just spinning in there.

Yep, yep. Almost like

a convection technique. Now it's kinda like putting,

like, you see a chef often will sear something off

and then stick the whole skillet in the oven.

It's kinda like that. I do it, everyday.

(lively rock music)

Alright, let's check these babies out.

(grill hood squeaks)

Oh yeah, I think those are done.

Oh man. Grab that plate

and let's get these off. Looks great, yeah.

So, Doc, we're gonna just toast these up a little bit.

I'm warming up the queso

over here on the side, Okay.

but let's get the buns right on there.

It only takes a minute,

but it's not very nice to not toast the bun.

Don't burn them now, Robbie. Nah!

You're not. We're good, we're good.

I mean look at that, that's-- Perfect.

That's beautiful.

That bun just got so much better by doing that.

So we've got our burgers, are resting.

How long do they rest for, Doc?

Well, something like this, just a couple of minutes.

Couple minutes? Okay.

But it's better to rest them, than not.

And we've got our perfectly toasted buns here,

and the ingredients that are just gonna make

this already delicious burger more delicious.

Well, let's start by the Comeback sauce.

Yeah.

Put a little bit on both top and bottom, for me.

Kind of, maybe like, some glue to keep all this together.

Man, that's beautiful. Yeah, this worked out well.

Beautiful brioche buns, too.

Yeah. Every ingredient.

If you're gonna make a great burger,

every ingredient's important.

Don't just use some buns that were laying around.

So, this was a relatively quick cook time here.

I mean, just a few minutes

and we've have these delicious burgers here.

I think people make the mistake

of trying to cook these things too long.

Alright, pickles. So what's next?

Pickles, okay.

House-made pickles, listen we've got it.

We just grab whatever's laying around

and it all gets pickled together.

Isn't that nice? Oh man, absolutely.

Alright. You can skip that on mine.

I'm not a pickle guy. Not a pickle guy?

So, we've got onions and carrots.

Oh yeah, nice and beautiful too.

There's all kinds of stuff in there.

Alright, now this is the queso dip.

For a burger, we don't want it too warm.

I don't want it too soft. Yeah, okay.

You don't want it just running everywhere.

Oh my gosh. This is actually

just about perfect. Oh, yeah.

Now, why do they call it "Rattlesnake"?

You know, I think it was

just a fun name. Are they just having fun?

Yeah, 'cause it's got some tequila in it

and some Habaneros. Oh that's right, yeah.

And it's a good aged cheddar

and I just think they just wanted to give it a good name,

'cause it's a pretty bold cheese.

Wow, yeah.

Last but not least, "Leek Hay".

Probably one of the fancy guys that's in our kitchen,

came up with this idea.

Look how cool it is. But I've got a feeling,

it's gonna work really well though, you know?

Well, it looks nice and you can smell it.

I mean, I love leeks. Yeah, yeah.

I think they're underused

in more than most kitchens. A little piece, yeah, yeah.

It's good man, get your hand in.

No, no, no.

I was just gonna actually try one out.

But look how nice it looks.

It's got that leek-y, kind of onion flavor.

Yeah, like fried onion.

Kind of looks like you're putting vegetables

on there. I mean, look at that.

It's a hell of a burger.

Let's close these up and we'll sit down and enjoy.

Now that sounds like a plan.

(relaxed, upbeat music)

These burgers aren't gonna eat themselves, right?

(Dr. BBQ laughs) So, let's get in here.

I'm gonna cut mine open to really see

all the deliciousness we've got going on here.

Let's see how we did.

Oh man, those are cooked perfect.

I mean, get in there.

Look at that.

Nice and pink.

All those things kind of coming together.

I'm gonna get in here.

How about the leeks, too? Uh-huh.

The leeks are a really cool treat.

(Dr. BBQ laughs)

It's a multiple-napkin burger, which I like.

At the end of the day,

all the additional stuff is nice.

The patty's gotta be good and it is really a great one.

That's what you want when you try to create a dish.

We talk about, you know,

all the different parts of your mouth

that tastes something. Oh yeah.

So, you put a whole bunch of different things in there,

it should be moving around

like dancing in your mouth, the flavor.

Absolutely. As crazy as that sounds,

that's what you want. No, no.

That's a perfect way to describe it.

So, I think I've been reading your patch here.

"Dr. BBQ, smokin' butts since 1982".

Yeah. I mean, that's a whole lot

of time and a whole lot of butts,

I mean, what got you into that?

Well, I'm old, you know. (Robbie laughs)

That's how you get back to that far of a start.

I learned how to cook in high school.

I just signed up for a cooking class

and honestly, it was the '70s,

and it was a teach girls how to cook for their family.

It wasn't a culinary program like they have now.

So, I took it and I always liked to cook from then on.

I just was always a cook,

and then a friend of mine signed us up

for a rib cooking contest in 1982.

In downtown Chicago right in the park,

when you're down there by those ball fields.

Sure. That's where it was.

And so I borrowed a grill, and bought some ribs,

and went down there and cooked some ribs!

You just did it.

Yeah, we didn't win anything but I was hooked for life.

Oh, I'm sure that whole experience of being outside

in just an element of like, "hey, there's no kitchen

"but your grill,"-- That was it.

And truly, it was 36 years ago

and it's been my life's obsession ever since.

Chicago was interesting.

When I was growing up, the barbecue in Chicago

was in the black neighborhoods,

because those folks had come up from the South.

The white people had come through Ellis Island,

so barbecue was not a thing.

One thing you learn,

as soon as you come into the South,

it's not a black and white thing, everybody's into it.

I started hanging around in Tennessee

going to barbecue cook-offs

and they didn't know what to make of me

'cause I talked funny, (Robbie laughs)

compared to those folks.

They labeled me the "Redneck Yankee",

and one guy bought me a hat.

I wore it for a long time

but it's one of those things that, you know,

once you get past all that,

you can learn about it. Sure.

I wasn't born with it.

My grandfather did not teach me how to barbecue

and I can't go back on that,

but I learned about it and again,

it's been my life's work.

I certainly know about it now.

So Doc, tell me about your approach

or your philosophy to barbecuing.

Well, I'm lucky enough to have started a long time ago

and really before it became all the rage,

you know. Sure.

I mean, there was certainly barbecue

all over the South back then,

but now it's become such a big thing.

And the new wave of trying

to assign a region to everything and a theme.

Oh, it's a bunch of nonsense,

you know? Yeah.

You think everybody in Alabama cooks

their barbecue exactly the same?

No, of course they don't. No, no way.

Absolutely not.

The true regional stuff is,

you know why they cooked a bunch of hogs

over in Hickory in North Carolina?

Why's that?

'Cause they had a bunch of hogs in Hickory.

A bunch of hogs in Hickory. (Dr. BBQ laughs)

Up in Kentucky, there's a region where they eat

a lot of mutton. Yes.

Because they had a bunch of it.

They had a bunch of it. Now, we're lucky enough

to pick our woods and have it shipped all over the place,

but the origins of it are, what was available.

Just taking something that's a would-be throwaway,

back in the day. Yeah.

And folks say, "Hey, you know what?

"If we get all this hickory,

"get it to a certain temperature,

"and just really slowly cook this, it just falls apart."

I love that aspect of it.

I think to me, that is the true beauty of it.

This is a sweet situation.

You get a chef comes here, cooks lunch for you.

That's a pretty nice deal.

I'm kind of winning on all levels,

'cause man it's really freaking good.

(relaxed, upbeat music)

How to use Google Analytics - Slice & Dice with Segments! How to use segments in Analytics - Duration: 2:50.

In this video let's talk about some of the ways that we can

actually use segments in Google Analytics. I'm going to pop into

our analytics.

We already have the page pulled up where in the demographics and

overview and we're looking at the age and gender of our users

during a specific date range I'm going to click where it says add

segments and we're going to take a look at different segments to

see if we can get some insights from our age group and our and

our demographic information.

The very first thing I'm going to do is create a new segment

and I'm going to go into conditions here and we're going

to say I just want to find source mediums. Let's say where

the source is Google organic, that's our search traffic.

So we're going to do that.

And this will just be search traffic.

Now Google does have built in segments of course.

Organic is one of them already.

I'm just showing you as an example how to create segments

but you don't necessarily have to do it.

It might already exist in Google itself.

We'll add one more segment here.

And let's take one of their examples. Let's see there's

other... traffic that might be interesting, how about page

traffic.

So we'll do that.

There's our organic traffic so they're defining it as medium

organic.

We're just looking at Google analytics in particular and this

is paid traffic and they're showing you this is how they

determine paid traffic right.

You can use their built-ins, you can create your own.

Just just know that segments are incredibly versatile.

They are amazing tools and I'm going to drag and drop this out

of the way because I don't want all users. I just want to see

our search traffic and our page traffic and I'm looking for

anything that might be interesting between the two.

So right away if I'm looking at this from an analysis standpoint

I kind of see that orange which is our paid traffic slightly

higher on user counts are 27 24.

We've got 35 percent versus 43 percent.

So little a little higher on search traffic there looks like

for the 25 to 34 demographic 18 versus 19 6 11 maybe a little

bit higher there on some of that and then down here it gets a

little more apparent where my search traffic versus page

traffic my search traffic mostly male. About 68 percent coming in

male and my page traffic a little less.

So I've got 40 percent female coming in from paid traffic.

That says to me there could be some interesting things here.

So males are doing a lot of the searches coming through.

But you know potentially females might be something that... Maybe

a targeted campaign potentially that bring in the gender of

female.

So it's something to take a look at.

But slicing and dicing by either are people that are buying,

people that have transactions with no revenue, people have

transactions with 500 revenue people that achieve certain

goals.

lets review a game! Pizza Titan Ultra Review - Duration: 5:41.

If you've got a craving for pizza, you know who to call

So I finally get it in my review of pizza Titan ultra

Pizza Titan altra follows a team of ultra pizza as they uncover the truth behind cheese Borg the evil robotic Mouse

Attempting to take over the world with his cheese

You take on the role of the new pilot of Ultra pizza and help the team make their way through missions and uncovering secrets

By delivering pizzas saving the town some cases blowing it up yourself

So I thought we'd do a breakdown of how I'm gonna review this thing

Asteroth game blades move into sound design and music and finally story. All right with that done. Let's cover gameplay

I played beats at an altar on my paint on my pace. I I played pizza $10 on my PC using a gamepad

Nothing seemed to like behind too much at least not in a way. That wouldn't make sense

We're trying to turn a 200-ton 10 story robot

But even then the movement was responsive the button students need to have noticeable lag between press and action

shape

gameplay and missions broke down to fighting cheese boards

Minions delivering pizza to people on the street and of course budget your fists through buildings to make sure they got their beats on time

We have a 30-minute guarantee to fulfill here after all

I think the cheese bots is fairly fun and new ones are introduced often enough for it's not yet stale they can even become

Overwhelming if you choose to ignore them for too long and that's something I can appreciate

Now I will admit here

I've had to dig into the depths of my brain

To find a complaint so I don't look like a paid shell of some or some kind of rabid fanboy a nutcase

So I will say that the combo attack can get a little repetitive

There are you happy Internet? I

said one thing that I have a critique on and

Even then I don't actually mind the repetitiveness of it

Because I can always forego punching the cheese boss and choose to us and choose to instead fire my giant chest laser at them

so ha

Now on to delivering pizzas to the people of the town whenever you find someone on the street to give pizza to a minigame activates

and

you have to place the toppings bake the pizza and cut it up for the customer the better you do the more money you make

Off of it which hey, I appreciate that

and

Finally you have the pizza deliveries you do for extra time and money, press X punch a hole through the wall pretty simple yet

It's elegant in its simplicity

You'd think team ultra beads

That would have some kind of deal with totally legit construction company with how well the two would work together

When we break the walls musics the walls

So I do want to add something about the random pizza deliveries

They don't appear often which is nice it prevents them from feeling too repetitive. In fact speaking of repetitive

I was going to give the game a minus for having the same minigame over and over

but they actually

switch it up and have the pizza move different or have the bars move differently and every time I have a complaint or I'm about

To it's already been addressed

Moving on the sound design of music. There is nothing I can say negatively about the music in this game

I know I went on in length about the gameplay, but the music just listen to it. It's amazing. It's fantastic

every song is just

Different enough and some of them are different takes on the main theme

Speaking of the main theme Lisi complete listen to it daily just because it's a song I've heard and a video game so far

Alright so far the sounds of the game are very well done as well little cheese board shouting

Is he kick or chess laser room and sounds of the buildings as you crush them?

Sound your mech makes when you go in a speed mode, everything is really well balanced and the music is very enjoyable

So all in all there isn't much to say here. I'll just want the music speak for itself

So, what is the story of Pizza Titan ultra without spoiling too much

Let's try to explain it in a short summary. You join team ultra beats on their quest to deliver delicious pizza to the masses

But what ho what is this cheese borges begin to attack the city

You must find out what's causing this by interacting with various parodies of popular characters from all over TV

Cartoons anime video games and the like and attempt to stop the evil cheese board from taking over the planet

So with all that done, let me give you my final thoughts in this series

If I were to assign it a number value, I would definitely give it a 9 out of 10 hands-down

Nearly, perfect. I think I put an easy 10 hours into the game and I can probably put it another 10 hours into it

It's not very long. But it more than makes up for with its around $20 price tag

It's not a perfect game. I came across some minor bugs that crashed my game, but wouldn't hold that against anyone

The game was amazing

Don't really like giving scores

But if you like everything you've seen and heard pick the game up for yourself, it's well worth the money

See you later navigators
