Bebek Bengil . This place is one of the original

Staples here in Ubud. And so Balinese food is excellent. But one of the dishes they're really good, known for is

Crispy duck, and this place is one original places that actually serves it. Its been around

Since I think 20-30 years making it. Kind of first exploded as tourism here

Because Bali wasn't always a touristy kind of place

Yes, so basically so it's Dirty Duck Diner is what it translates to either

It's in Balinese or Bahasa Indonesia

We are not really sure, but they do a crispy duck and we're here to get crispy duck and try it out and see

If it's worth all the hype, it's a pretty eclectic, um

Wide range of stuff on their menu. There are all these appetizers

duck spring rolls, which we might try

French fries, guacamole, which is kind of funny. They have soups and salads

Vegetarian

Indonesian favorites if you guys never tried Gado-Gado. Nasi Campur

Oh nice, they actually have Nasi Campur Bebek, which is the duck. Yeah just all the stuff. Duck fried rice

But, here is the main course. This is actually Bebek Bengil, the dirty duck. Crispy duck comes comes with

It says crispy finish, deep-fried. These are fingers actually

Potatoes and side salad, or rice and Balinese vegetables

Yeah, so we're gonna try that it's 130,000

Chicken, duck

pasta

And of course the desserts.

This is how you know that you're in a fancy place, when they give you a branded coconut.

Look at that

Isnt that cool? Also, they even thought ahead and put a place. I already squeezed it. A place for a lime wedge

So we open up the top

Squirt it in there, and bam. And they also have a spoon for the coconut afterwards.

never seen that before

Classy

[music]

Okay, we're gonna dig in. sorry of the little little background noise. Im not really sure how to do this, because the waterfall is behind us

It's such a braggy problem

And it's kind of quiet here, so we don't really wanna, but let's dig in

Why would you grab it like that?

Poor duck

Jimmy got rice. I got potatoes

and they're good

I didn't get to pick, so that's what I got

and then, we are going to share the vegetables

Oh boy

Alright. Salad with peppers. The capsaicin as they say in Asia

Mmm, spicy

We have three choices of sauces

We have mild, spicy and hurt your life

In our previous videos, we kinda talk about the oranges

in Asia

On first look, that's not an orange right? that's actually an orange, but the outer skin is green

Alright, im going to try the spicy stuff

Mmm

Flavors good

They recommend the mild, but I've been in Asia for a year. I can eat the spicy

Lets try a potato

Potatoes are really good

Mmm hmm

Potatoes in Asia, as a whole, are not really

It's not a thing

No, it's a thing, but it tastes different, unlike russet potatoes in the States

So, just be prepared for that. It's a little more Rooty tasting, if that make sense. like a root versus a potato

A potato I guess is a root, right?

Comment down below. I'm not really sure

It is, because you dig em up, right?

Yeah, but I mean

Ya, but I dont know if thats technically true

Hello duck

You are tasty

For not being a dark meat guy, you might actually really like this.

Ya?

That's really good. Its actually not hot.

okay, time to try the duck

Amanda went ahead and started eating and didnt explain what she was tasting

It is so good. It is juicy on the inside

Crispy on the outside

and its not gamey

I've had duck before that's gamey, and I didn't like it.

This is not gamey, its like

Is it greasy? No

It's not

How do you? Do you just rip off?

Just pull it apart

Just get in there

I guess you just get in there

That's what I did. I dont know thats what you are suppose to do.

They said eat with your hands

So, im just pullin off parts of it.

like this

and im dipping in the sauce

Oh ya, gotta dip it in the sauce

Um yeah, on the initial taste, it's dark meat, I'm not a dark meat guy

so, I can't really say how much I like it, or dont like it, but

crispy outside. So they deep fat fry it

so juicy

umm

but it is juicy. really juicy

right, its not gamey.

no, not at all

It definitely like a dark meat taste. Just like chicken dark meat

that's good

But I I don't know. It's just has its own flavor to it

so lets take a little piece

but dip it in here? Is that what you do?

dip it in the hot sauce

That's what I am doing. I dont know if it's right or not.

hmm

It's tomato based

umm

but there's definitely, definitely fish sauce in there

I've grown to love fish sauce

ahh, i don't know if I can do fish sauce

but it's not fishy

you thought it was fishy?

but that. uh huh. ya

you could eat that with a fork

oh, wait a minute

[coughing]

that's a little spicy

sneaks up in the back

ya, that definitely snuck up on me.

I feel bad for dismantling this poor, little bird

eh

and i've been eating a lot of vegetarian food lately and this just goes right out the window doesn't it?

mmm hmm

I'm actually really enjoying vegetarian food

Indian, vegetarian food and Balinese. They do it right

There's so many people that eat the same way you do

It tends to be better food overall, ya know?

Big eatin pretty good pretty good how good I'd give that a thumbs up

We're debating going back home. So we're debating going back home were let's believe here. Well after we leave Asia

Options is Beijing. Yeah, I really really want to try Peking Duck is that there's a special place. There's much way to eat it

Often we cook they they cut it up at the table for you and the whole process

Yeah, I mean

There's a certain amount of cuts. They do 100 and some cuts or something, which is really cool. It's definitely cool in itself

So look excited to check it out

Yeah, I'm excited check it out and see how that works. But let's continue

I can eat that crust when spinnin I be kidding

That's funny I feel if you don't do this enough like we try to show you guys the world and

We forget to just be

We show you this and check this out look at this do this, but we don't we just sit down with you guys

We just all sit down and have dinner together and just chat

That could be a fun live event. Do a live event the first time I get my biscuits and gravy after we get home

That's gonna be a spiritual experience. That could be

Embarrassing. Yeah 10 once again

Whoever visits in gravy, I I don't know what to tell you. I

Do just I got Clara Stan. How do you sell hopefully those right like I'm getting grabbed me pinching this with this big stone ball

But my initial touch spice and coconut a couple in there

They're coconut

which

I

Love it's much chili, I think but when she said it's mild, I think it's actually hotter than the one. She said it's like

Who what if we did potatoes in it? Oh

Yeah, you need to do that, nope

It doesn't taste fishy

Do you really get fish stocks in there? Hmm? Okay. Well then this is all mine

all yours, I

Don't even need to share. Did he come back over here to be like you ate all of it. Oops of all new vegetables

Are incredible they're like long beans and bean sprout when they pay them and they put the crispy onions on top. They're a little spicy

They always given to you when you get nasty comport to mister

I've tried him every which way but

My grandparents to try to get me to eat them

Another kid this casually it salsa. I put the guy oh, oh you oh wait tomato. Sauce, you know and like

Getting it stuff when it comes to me about himself, I just can't do it. I mean I can somewhat like subway texture. Yeah

Texture and I don't know. Alright, I

Can't do pair. I can't do like peaches

It's squishy fruits squishy fruits you don't like rebooting for that reason. Yeah

The fruit the fruit

So much I

Don't know that's we're to say as more flavor, but it has more flavor. It does Lauren tells us more watermelon tea

You know

Twisty kiss deep. It lead this part. No, there's a good way wake up

Three we grown up and never knew what it was

Michela me to grab i'm graeme Solaris

I love the heck out of it

But I never knew what it was until I got older and I was like I've been eating that since I was a child

Oh look at that, I guess big ol like truck yeah

Art

Like I did

Cleaned it clean the bones. Literally you guys seemed okay. This is what looks like

Some tender insides tried a little bit

One interesting thing that's happened to me this year

That's really I don't have any food weirdness anymore. I'm living spams

I go crazy

Weights we go to our next location

Just wait and see

Somebody's coming back

Somebody from our early blog that you guys loved he's coming back

I get through this whole thing. Nothing soft on my shirt. I'm good

It's a weird. I wish there's a whole duck option. I need to know what this is

So I can learn how to make it

The problem is though we have to have an Asian mark to get the proper ingredients

Four thousand

What do you finish it, I'm done

Where's the best of you had James Oh tabali

No

That's crispy dentists in Bali with the best Peking duck was in Beijing go all in business

It's not pretty

Look at that coconut in there. Yeah children up and they even give you a spoon. That was a great meal

She I did enough job apparently and she wouldn't pick my carcass and turn on her put on her plate

Yeah, it was really good. So there's a hundred and twenty thousand

For what half a duck with the accompaniments which is a lot a lot of money for Bali

As you can tell what we just put down below it's not a lot of money

It's gave me things like as we could put other other countries in Asia. They'll have more money for duck

So there's a pit massage place

It's one hundred and thirty thousand if that puts it into perspective that we actually did want to pay it with too much money. Yeah

that just such a how how cheap things are in Indonesia and in Asia Southeast Asia by

Jamie thought a dessert on the menu that he had a try looks really good

It is a Black Russian pie and it's the original from when they opened in 1990

Just like we got I read it on the menu. Oh, okay. I had no idea. Um, so yeah, it's it's vodka. It's Kahlua

It's a cheesecake. It's chocolate. We're gonna get

It looks pretty good. That's pretty good. So let's dig in

Little tiny Forks

So it looks like almost a client of Kapaun, yeah playing that Ned Flanders

Looks like looks like flawed

me

Well, I ate so much eventually. There's piece of the Chilean meaty alcohol

Definitely Mona that cool

definitely vodka

I might be a massage that I might be fall asleep

The story my job well lightly

I'm addicted a whole lot. We needed one really all you're

Doing a lot of water and a lot of teeth. Yeah, but here and while I've been taking a lot of bintang beer

Bintang miss Prost and has been tangling takes a two and main

beers here in in Bali and

They have one called a rattler and maybe you guys have seen that in our other videos

with a lemon and the importance the man has fallen over to orange and

I hate beer and I hate oranges but I drink two of those a day. I mean find your way with it

Hey good. Oh good. Okay about

20,000 good in 20

Thank you. Yeah, so that is that not bad

Travel on top

Like you feel the burn of the alcohol, yeah

Yeah, so you talk on top we have like this blonde pudding texture

It's like

You're right it does burn it burns it burns like you took a shot about

Who it in here about this cool, I mean the creaminess, you know, I tell

About the manual

Black Russian Pie original from original black Russians since 1990 mates with vodka Kahlua and topped with chocolate

To

Overpowered asleep

Hi guys, Texas sure done

Okay, it's a nobody wouldn't know of

Southeast Asian in Bali who does it takes us Longhorns shirt on

Looking looking horns

We've seen people with Iowa shirts on

the powered we were in

During chin mine and I saw a guy wearing it wasn't actually Posten weird. It was a local like co-op

Shirt and I chased him down in the grocery store and said and I pretended to be cool like an owl and I went

Those of you in Austin, it's the least felt co-op. He had a weave now. Yeah, we look what was it?

We shared one like what little picture yeah, I'll get one mini picture

It's like a leader like a leader of margarita or something. I

Just drink that much

One one neat thing. I think I mentioned one other video about

Asia that we like he had toothpicks right at the table these are branded

I mean granted they have trade Mike the big thing no a toothpicks, man

I'm not I don't figure doubt the etiquette like you're supposed to like figure teeth with your tooth like at the table

Thousands Of Furloughed Workers Apply For Unemployment Benefits - Duration: 5:11.

Here's an issue that I don't believe is getting enough attention from the media in the United

States today and that is the impact that this government shut down is having on the government

workers who are either working without a paycheck or not working and still also not getting

paid in the last couple of weeks alone, more than 4,000 furloughed government workers who

are not receiving a paycheck have applied for unemployment.

They have had to go to the unemployment offices trying to get temporary aid so that they can

continue to pay their bills because they have no idea when this government shutdown is going

to end.

Thousands of new people just in the last two weeks applying for unemployment assistance

because of the government shutdown.

That puts an enormous strain on a system that is already strained because Republicans have

tried to cut the funding and change the rules for it and now we're going to strain it even

more because of Donald Trump's temper tantrum and that's just the beginning.

Another very serious problem we have as a result of this government shut down are the

massive number of TSA agents here in the United States who continue to call in sick because

there are among those who still have to work but aren't going to be paid for it, so the

call out rate for TSA agents across this country is increasing every day, which means we're

basically having to pull in the second string or we're having to operate with fewer TSA

agents, which number one obviously means the inspections are not as thorough as they should

be and two passengers or having to wait longer times just to get through airport security

because there's not enough people staffing them.

This impacts the airlines.

It impacts air travel in general.

It hurts the overall economy.

Everything is connected in this economy today and the president doesn't seem to understand

that and again gets worse from there.

We have food stamp funding that is likely to run out in the month of February.

Now the Trump administration has told us they're are absolutely going to find the money to

continue funding that, but considering the fact that Republicans have made it their platform

for the last several decades to say we need to cut food stamp funding, it's incredibly

unlikely that this administration is going to scrape up the change needed to get those

people their food stamp checks.

So once that happens, once again, we're dealing with a situation where there's less money

flowing through local economies, even if it is coming from the ebt, the food stamp program,

whatever it is, what's even worse than economic pain is the physical pain that the people

are going to go through because suddenly they can't buy food there.

Kids aren't eating, they're trying to scrape by and do whatever they can.

And now they're just in a situation where, Oh, well, Donald Trump's angry.

Now when the government's not open to send you your food stamps, a federal scientists

are missing conferences.

Um, national parks losing money and they're piling up with garbage right now, I'm sure.

But he's seen the pictures floating around of just these massive piles of garbage in

federal parks and national parks because there's nobody there to even change the trash cans.

Um, disaster aid.

Then another one being delayed for areas of this country, Florida, the Carolinas, California,

Colorado, places that had been ravaged by floods, hurricanes, fires, and all sorts of

natural disasters.

We're not able to send the aide out to continue helping these communities so people aren't

able to put their lives back together again because of the government shutdown.

The list goes on and on.

Politico actually did a decent job of putting together a good list of all the different

areas that are being affected by this and every single one of them is connected to something

else in this economy, which is again connected to something else.

But more importantly than that, than the ripple effects of the economy, which could tank very

quickly if the shutdown continues.

It's the human cost.

The people not getting their food stamps, the people not getting the disaster aid, the

people not getting their paychecks yet still being required to go to work, which means

they also still have to pay childcare costs and they have no idea how they're going to

do that.

People are suffering because of this.

This is now the third longest government shut down we've ever had in this country, and if

it goes on much longer, it's going to go even higher than that.

We can't afford this as a country, both economically and morally.

We have to take care of these people first and foremost, and that seems to be something

that the Republican Party controlling the White House seems to have forgotten.

Queen Elizabeth Request Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Stop Doing Non-Royal Thing Immediately - Duration: 11:02.

Queen Elizabeth Request Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Stop Doing Non-Royal Thing Immediately.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially married.

Though the entire royal family reportedly adores the former Suits actress,

the couple has had to make a few changes to adjust to the new expectations that come with their married life.

Prince Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, wants the couple to stop doing one non-royal thing immediately.

You also won't believe what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can't call each other when out in public.

1. Constant scrutiny.

Though Prince Harry adores his grandparents, the queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are some tough cookies to crack.

In fact, Prince Philip has held a 20-year grudge towards his son Prince Andrew's ex-wife, Sarah,

the Duchess of York for a scandal she was involved in during the '90s.

While the royal couple loves Markle and has even watched her on her hit USA show, Suits,

they are also closely watching everything Harry and Meghan do to ensure the young couple adheres to royal standards.

This can make for some very awkward public moments like Prince Harry rejecting Markle's attempt to hold his hand during a recent reception at Buckingham Palace.

2. Advice from seasoned pros.

Since her life has changed drastically and she made the move to the U.K. to be with Prince Harry, Markle has learned a lot about being royal.

Luckily, she lived steps away from Prince William and Duchess Kate.

She's been able to grow close to them, even bonding with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

After having to go through royal training herself, Duchess Kate has been a helpful resource for Markle as she learns to navigate her new royal life.

Prince William has also reportedly made himself available as a resource for Markle if she ever has any questions or needs help with something.

3. Overlooking a royal no-no.

The queen obviously really adores Markle, especially since the self-proclaimed feminist gets along wonderfully with her beloved royal corgis.

In fact, the queen gave them an official blessing to wed. In her official letter, she wrote,

My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan Markle,

which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.

This is super modern because Markle is a divorcee, which would have been a major no-no a few decades ago.

Also, how cute is Harry being the queen's "most dearly beloved grandson"?

4. A different kind of celebrity.

Markle reportedly had to take "princess lessons" to prepare for her new life.

Though she understood what it means to be in the limelight as a celebrity, being royal is a completely different beast.

A royal insider told Women's Day, "Meghan is such a warm person,

but being a royal is very different to being a celebrity, and Meghan still has a lot to learn".

5. Say no to selfies.

Harry and Markle also have to limit themselves when it comes to selfies, per royal protocol and the queen's personal preference.

Markle has already gotten ahead of herself by deleting all of her social media accounts.

It's probably been pretty helpful since royals are absolutely forbidden to take selfies. (Apparently, that's peasant behavior).

The super sweet actress has already mastered the art of saying no.

At a recent event in Nottingham, Markle apologized to a fan who asked for one saying, "We're not allowed''.

6. Always keep your composure.

Long trips, tiresome speeches, and dull events are all on Markle's royal calendar. However, she must always be careful to mask her exhaustion.

In fact, if the former actress yawns in public, she's actually going to be penalized. She's also not supposed to gasp or frown.

We suppose the Northwestern alum should start trying to act as robotic as possible.

7. Maintain distance.

Though the younger royals are much more modern and approachable, royals are still supposed to maintain an air of aloofness in public.

For example, Markle is going to have to learn how to answer questions without actually giving anything away.

It's definitely an art form that will be hard to master.

8. The appropriate way to wear a tiara.

When we think of Markle's princess lessons, we like to imagine her walking around Buckingham Palace with a stack of books balanced on her head, but we've probably seen too many movies.

Markle is now officially allowed to wear a tiara, but the glittering diamond incrusted crowns must be worn properly.

Modern royals wear their tiaras pushed back slightly away from the top of their heads and at a 45-degree angle. How regal.

9. A swift hello.

We'd imagine that constantly waving your hand at the public would make anyone tiresome, but as a royal, it's just part of life.

Zarife Hardy, the founder of the Australian School of Etiquette explained,

"She'll obviously be taught more on the royal wave, it's a bit gregarious right now and needs to be more fine-tuned.

And also just that art of meeting and greeting. Looking someone in the eye, a nice firm handshake, no more than two pumps and a lovely warm smile.

10. Stop the PDA.

Though the queen adores her grandson and his new bride, she's not too pleased about one aspect of their relationship.

The super cute duo are extremely loving and affectionate in public, but that is a massive royal taboo.

An insider revealed to Women's Day, "Being affectionate just comes naturally to Harry and Meghan, but it's totally against royal protocol.

The Queen isn't thrilled about it at all, and word is she summoned Harry to the palace to remind him what's expected of a royal.

All the hand-holding just isn't the royal way at all".

11. The right way to sit.

You'll never see a royal crossing their knees — especially royal women.

They must always sit with their legs together. And, if they must cross something, they can cross their ankles.

That said, they can also angle their legs to the side.

Kate Middleton's go-to position incorporates all three aspects and has even been coined "the duchess slant" by Beaumont Etiquette.

12. No nicknames.

Notice how we never hear Prince William call the Duchess of Cambridge Kate?

That's because the royal family doesn't have nicknames — at least, publicly they don't.

When referring to his wife in a public matter, he always calls her Catherine.

13. How to address the Queen.

After that, she goes by "ma'am." In addition, male members of the royal family are addressed as "your royal highness,"

followed by "sir," and female members are addressed as "your royal highness," followed by "ma'am".

14. Adhere to the royal dress code.

The royal family has a strict dress code policy — one that should never be broken.

As a rule of thumb, all members of the royal family must dress modestly.

Markle doesn't appear to have any problem looking modest and royal.

15. Everyone stops eating when the queen does.

No matter who you are or where you are seated, the queen has control of all dinners,

including when everyone is finished eating. As soon as she stops, so must everyone else..

16. Rank dictates walking order.

While royals are always accompanied by their spouses, it's tradition for the royals to walk a few steps ahead.

That said, it is also proper etiquette to let the woman lead.

While the queen always walks slightly ahead of Prince Philip, Prince Harry often allows Meghan Markle to lead the way.

By royal family standard, the queen follows proper suit, but that doesn't mean Harry is in the wrong.

It's still considered polite to let the lady lead — royal, or not.

17. A specific way to descend stairs.

Descending stairs in a ball gown and heels can be a recipe for disaster.

Luckily, members of the royal family are trained to walk down stairs with poise.

For added stability, men typically put a hand out for their spouses.

That said, women must descend stairs in a specific manner.

The royal family protocol is to keep their hands at their sides and the chin in line with the ground.

They may use the banister for stability but cannot grab onto it.

Instead, they place their hand gently on it and point their toes toward it as they walk.

Who knew walking down a flight of stairs could be so complicated?

18. Don't ask to be excused.

When dining, the royal family doesn't ask permission to be excused from the table, and they certainly don't make a fuss about it.

Instead, they simply say, "excuse me," and get up and go.

Why did the Queen warn Harry over Meghan's behaviour before wedding?

Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family when she married Prince Harry in May this year.

But why did the Queen warn Prince Harry over Meghan's behaviour before the royal wedding?

Meghan originally wanted to wear a tiara that featured emeralds, according to The Sun.

But she was apparently left unhappy when she was told this was "impossible", as nobody knew the provenance of the gems,

amid fears the emeralds were Russian at a time of heightened tension between London and Moscow.

A royal insider said: "Meghan had her heart set on this tiara with emeralds and Prince Harry hit the roof when they were told it was impossible for her to wear it.

"The provenance of the tiara could not be established. There were concerns it could have come from Russia originally.

There was a very heated exchange that prompted the Queen to speak to Harry.

She said, 'Meghan cannot have whatever she wants. She gets what tiara she's given by me'.

Reporter Robert Jobson revealed in his new book that Harry told staff before the wedding: "What Meghan wants, Meghan gets".

But this attitude did not go down well with the Queen, who then reportedly warned the prince over Meghan's behaviour.

The royal insider told to the Sun: "The Queen also questioned why Meghan needed a veil for the wedding, given it was to be her second marriage.

"The message from the Queen was very much Meghan needed to think about how she speaks to staff members and be careful to follow family protocols".

However, Meghan revealed a different version of events about how she chose her tiara when she gave an interview as part of her wedding outfit exhibition.

She said: "When it came to the tiara on the day, I was very fortunate to be able to choose this gorgeous art deco style bandeau tiara.

"Harry and I had gone to Buckingham Palace to meet with Her Majesty The Queen to select one of the options that were there, which was an incredibly surreal day as you can imagine.

"And that was the one that, I think, as we tried them on, stood out".

🔴AMAZING GRACE Peaceful Hymn with Lyrics (Piano Instrumental hymn) (Karaoke Worship & Cover) - Duration: 8:03.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares,

I have already come;

'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,

And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,

His Word my hope secures;

He will my Shield and Portion be,

As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,

And mortal life shall cease,

I shall possess, within the veil,

A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,

The sun forbear to shine;

But God, who called me here below,

Will be forever mine.

When we've been there ten thousand years,

Bright shining as the sun,

We've no less days to sing God's praise

Than when we'd first begun.
