Youtube daily Feb 12 2019

See if you can guess what happens next in these tricky Top Wing situations.

Batty McBat thinks he can handle Danger Canyon.

Until...

Uh-oh...

[nervous laughing]

Top Wing, help!

Don't worry, Batty. I've got a plan.

Eject! Yeehaw!

What do you think will happen next?

Will Swift rescue Batty from the air?

Or will he quickly build Batty a landing pad

made out of fluffy marshmallows?

- If you guess that Swift saves Batty... - Got you!

You got it right!

When Penny offers the team a frosty treat...

Want a krill icer?

Refreshing and delicious!

Uh...

Will Rod and Brody try the krill icers?

Or will they politely pass on the penguin popsicles?

- How about some sunflower seeds? - Yeah!

If you guessed that they pass on the krill icers,

you got it right!

OK, try this one.

When Rod has to return a baby bear to her cave,

he has a choice to make.

Uh-oh. Where'd she go?

Rod, she went into the haunted cave.

So, will Rod be brave and enter the cave?

Or will he chicken out?

Guess I better cock-a-doodle-do it then.

If you guessed that Rod acts like a rooster and goes in the cave,

you got it right!

Hi, I'm Rod, Top Wing cadet.

I'm taking you home.

OK, one more.

Nobody skateboards like Brody.

Ca-caw!

[cheering]

But some jumps are almost impossible.

Let's do this.

Will Brody make the jump?

Or will he have a splash landing?

[gasping]

Ca-caw!

Wow! Ha, ha, he did it!

He gobble-got it done, folks!

If you guessed that Brody makes the jump, you got it right!

- Great guessing. - Great job, cadets.

Maybe you're ready for Top Wing Academy.

Ready or not, here I come!

I don't like needles.

I always look away when we do this.

Well, that's not your job to look.

So, that's my job.

When it comes to influencers with big audiences, this is what I say: I know a lot of people

who have millions and millions of followers, and my biggest advice for them is like create

something of your own.

So the hot script formula works to do that.

You hook people in, you give them a reason to stick.

So say today I'm going to teach you how to get more views on YouTube, that's the hook.

So people know, "Okay, I've landed on the right video.

This is not click bait.

This is what I'm going to get out of this video."

Good morning!

I am just on my way to go get an IV, which I do once a month.

I've been doing it for quite a while now because it just helps keep my energy levels up and

keeps me healthy.

And I do feel like being an entrepreneur is like being an athlete sometimes.

And as you guys know, I grew up in a very athletic family, so I just know that it's

important to take care of yourself so you can actually perform.

And I just don't like being sick, so this helps.

And you have been asking for a day in the life videos, which I've never really done.

So this is our first day in the life video, which I am very excited about.

So I'm going to kind of bring you along.

I might be breaking the rules slightly, but we're actually going to bring you along on

a couple of days.

It's Thursday now.

We're going to take you through to Saturday where I am doing a speaking engagement with

a very special guest, I'll just say that much.

And it's gonna be all about YouTube and getting your first 1,000 subscribers, all the tips

and tricks.

And, yeah, I hope you guys learn a lot along the way.

Cool.

Welcome back.

Thank you.

Previously, we've done the [inaudible 00:01:52] , but we've made it custom for you as well.

Yes.

So the things that we were helping you with were helping support your mood, increasing

your metabolism, adding more vitamins and adding in some specific amino acids.

A little bit more immune support by adding in more vitamin C ...

Yeah.

Is that something you want to do again today?

I think that's kind of perfect.

That's the one I like the best.

So yeah.

Yeah.

I think that's a really nice formula for you.

I'd prefer not to go back to burnout, so this is like preventative measure to make sure

that that doesn't happen.

But yeah, that sounds perfect for me.

Yeah.

Wow, you've got really nice veins.

Thank you.

So it makes my job really easy.

I That's a nice compliment.

It's the first time I've heard that.

I can tell you're hydrated as well.

Oh, well, that's good too.

Yeah.

Thanks.

Yeah.

Well, 'cause they're juicy.

Oh.

Yeah.

When they're juicy, you know they're hydrated.

They're sort of concave.

Yeah, it's a problem.

Okay.

We don't want it ... Everybody ... How much coffee have you had today?

Usually I teach you about YouTube, today I'm teaching you about veins.

You don't want concave veins.

No, you don't.

No.

You want them juicy.

Right.

Okay, take a nice deep breath in for me.

All the way out.

Good job.

Thank you.

First part's over.

Perf.

We're done.

We did it.

So ... busy week.

Not like a crazy busy week, but today I have a pretty big live stream that I'm doing in

someone else's group about YouTube and how to use it to grow your business.

So that's happening today.

And then just a lot of meetings over the next few days.

And then like I said, Saturday we have this event that I'm doing all about YouTube as

well.

So we're going to take you along on that, but the reason that I do this, 'cause you

can comment and tell me if you think I'm crazy, or comment and tell me if you do this too,

and the reason I do this is because it just nourishes me and gets vitamins back in and

makes sure that I am up for all the stuff I going on.

Because I think I have such a high tolerance at this point for stress, for busyness.

And for events and for speaking, I don't really get nervous like I used to, but it still does

take a toll.

And it's still a lot of energy output.

So doing this allows me to have that energy to keep moving forward and bring my best self

to the table.

And I know I say this all the time, but I really have learned, especially going through

like major burnout and stuff like that in the past, that I don't take care of myself,

I can't take care of anything else.

I can't take care of my business, I can't take care of my relationships.

I just can't do much else.

So I love coming here.

It's like 45 minutes of forced relaxation.

I listen to a podcast or I read a book, or just sit and do nothing.

And it just helps me replenish myself so I can take care of everything.

So I think that's a big takeaway no matter where you are in your business.

Even if you take like an hour away and go for a walk or something ... Took me a long

time to learn that those things make a huge difference to your sustainability and running

your business.

So take care of yourself or else you're not going to be able to take care of anything

else and nobody wants to get there.

I'm going to zone out for a little bit, enjoy my relaxation, and tune into Oprah's Super

Soul Sunday, obviously.

Okay.

Finished the IV, feel good, and now just rushing home to ensure that I am situated at my computer

and can talk to all these people that I'm doing this live stream for about YouTube and

YouTube for business.

We're just going to jet home.

Hello.

Hello, hello.

Can you hear me okay?

I can hear you just fine.

How are you?

I'm good.

How are you?

I am fantastic.

It's been a while.

It has been a while.

Yeah.

So the first step is really broken into four phases.

So I have this methodology.

We call it the Sunny System, kind of a play on the solar system, but if you can visualize

it, YouTube really is the sun.

It's at the center of the solar system, and it's got all of these other planets around

it.

And the other planets around it are your social media platforms, your email list, your Facebook

group, your customers, your leads, your influential relationships, your press opportunities, and

it's fueling all of those things.

But the beautiful part about it is all of those things are also fueling YouTube.

So phase one really is getting your research down.

And the research is the hardest, most time consuming part, but it's also the most valuable

because, and I'm sure there's people who can relate to this who are watching, you create

a piece of content, you put it up, you think it's gold, and you get crickets.

And that's not a nice feeling, plus it's not pushing the needle for your business.

So I always say, "Research before you record," because that allows you to get clear on who

you're trying to target and what kind of opportunities you're trying to attract in that realm and

that system.

So for me, I started with social media.

I was talking about social media because it was what I knew and had been studying and

working with my clients on for five years.

And then I really niched down to YouTube.

And the research phase really comes up in a couple of different ways.

First thing, easiest thing, create a list of FAQs.

My first video that I did that kind of took off for me was when I did a video from my

client's FAQ, which was about live streaming at the time about Periscope.

So create a list of FAQs, create a master list, which is any skill that you have mastered

in your business that you can teach other people or that people are constantly asking

you for help with.

Anyways ... All right.

Okay, thank you for having me.

Appreciate you so much.

I will chat with you soon.

Okay.

Bye.

Bye.

So just finished the live.

That was super fun.

And I think oftentimes people don't understand the amount of content you have to do on a

weekly basis, especially to drive an online business.

So doing interviews like that is always so fun.

And the purpose really is to spread the word about what your products and services are,

and it always turns out when I do these interviews and I'm talking about YouTube and using it

to grow your business, this has helped me a lot, where people go, "Oh my gosh, that

was so insightful and I'm going to hire you."

And so ... That also just happened there, which is super great.

And I think just like YouTube, the more you put your genius out into the world and the

more you can get onto people's podcasts or interviews or do guest appearances or lives

and Facebook groups that are in your niche, the more people know who you are, what you

do and what you're the best at, and the more people are gonna want to hire you.

So now I'm moving into a lot of content.

So today's a content heavy day, and I try to kind of do all of this in one day so that

I, quite frankly, don't have to do my makeup on other days.

And for other reasons.

But we're going to be doing B roll for some of the videos that we shot.

Last week we did four in one day, which is how I like to do my YouTube videos.

I like to batch them, unless they're more day in the life and we do them like this.

But I like to have batch content to have a safety net in case we can't make content a

week.

So we're going to do B roll for one of those videos and then we're going to do some photos

for social content marketing, website, all that stuff.

And yeah, just content, content, content all day long.

And that's kind of what it takes.

You've got to be on all the time.

All right.

It's obviously afternoon now and we are rolling along with content.

We have shot so much.

We still have a little more.

And little hot tip, whenever you have photos or content to get or you're doing videos,

I like to get props and things ahead of time.

It makes it a lot easier.

So we are going to wrap up.

I'm going to head into some meetings and I will see you on Saturday.

Good morning.

Welcome.

Come on in.

So it's about 8:20, I think, right now, and I'm just getting ready for the day.

So I start with my green smoothie.

And obviously I have this set up all the time.

Just kidding, I don't have a light in my house all the time.

But you got to ... Lighting's important.

S So I have my green smoothie, which is ... A

lot of you actually asked me what's in my green smoothies.

So what I put in it is almonds.

I soak them overnight, rinse them off in the morning.

It's almonds, spinach, hemp seeds, berries ... that's why it's not green smoothie.

I keep thinking and saying it is, but it's not.

It's purple ... Berries and protein powder.

And I think that's everything, but if I forget anything I'll add it in somewhere.

And then I'm just going to make some tea, prep my slides, and get ready to head to the

event and meet everyone there.

So I am going over my slides, which I generally do the morning of whenever I'm speaking.

It's funny because when I used to do speaking engagements ... I think my very first speaking

engagement, I remember just being so nervous that I couldn't sleep.

I felt like I was going to faint or throw up.

I was shaking as I walked up on the stage.

And I prepared for probably a solid couple of weeks and then the day before I think I

spent the entire day rehearsing everything I was gonna say, including like any funny

jokes I wanted to tell.

I had like a laugh track.

So I've come a long way because this morning I actually forgot which presentation I'm giving,

and I have like pretty standard presentations and I'll just tweak them depending on the

audience, which is like a huge time saver, a huge hack that most speakers do.

And so I forgot which one I was giving this morning so I just wanted to refresh my memory,

make sure I knew which slides I'm going to be going over.

And then that's pretty much it.

Then I feel pretty prepped to go because I know the information.

I guess that's the thing that got me over my nerves with speaking is that, you know

this, you're an expert, that's why you were asked to speak there, or why they want you

to speak on their stage.

So it's all up here.

These are just kind of there for security, but you don't really need them, and they should

just be the cues for you to go into your genius zone and talk about the things that are gonna

be most valuable to the audience.

And the thing too, for me, that got me over my nerves big time was this mental shift of,

"It's not about me, it's not about what the audience thinks of me."

Because honestly, at any speaking engagement, people want you to do well.

There's nothing worse than watching a speaker who's awkward and uncomfortable.

It makes everyone uncomfortable.

So they want you to do well and they're rooting for you.

So just know that and know that you're there to serve and help them.

And once you switch it from, "I'm so nervous.

I'm so nervous.

I'm so nervous.

What if I screw up?

What if I say something stupid?

What if I trip?

What if I fall," and you take that and you flip it and you go, "How much can I bring

to the table for this audience and how much can I inform them and educate them and just

bring value," your nerves dissipate.

So I always say like, "Take the 'I' out of it, take 'you' out of it and make it about

the audience."

And that's when you really start to gain momentum in the speaking realm, to feel super comfortable

on stage.

So yeah, that's my little trick.

I feel very prepared.

I just get really excited to meet people in real life because I feel like I like talk

to people all day long online, but meeting them actually in real life is very cool.

So I'm excited about that.

Okay.

There we go.

Got 'em.

I have this teeny tiny little car.

It's my Fiat Noni, who I believe you've met before.

And we have had to shove so much stuff in here, all the gear and everything.

And I've had her for three years and she constantly surprises me with how durable she is.

But thank God for little Noni.

Because it a Saturday, the traffic is so light.

And truthfully I never drive because we live central downtown and I pretty much can walk

everywhere, and I like walking a lot, so even if the traffic was bad I wouldn't be that

upset about it.

But yeah, it's really not so bad.

It's early on a Saturday and I think most people are probably still sleeping.

We just arrived at [Thinkific 00:14:39] and we're here for a video influencers meetup

with Benji.

And we're going to be doing a little presentation about how to get more engagement on YouTube

and how to get your first hundred, first thousand subscribers and meet a lot of really awesome

YouTubers and creators and entrepreneurs in Vancouver.

So I'm so excited.

Let's go in.

Yeah, snacks for me are like ... If you've ever seen that viral video of the girl who

says 'snacks', it's ruined me saying the word 'snacks' now.

I'm hoping we can cut to it here, 'cause it's really funny.

Snacks!

But, yeah, I have to have snacks with me at all times because I get hungry all day, everyday,

and I try not to go for crap food because it doesn't make me feel good or energized.

So having healthy stuff on the go helps me keep going during the day.

And then you - Snacks!

Hi, how are you?

Oh, hi!

How are you?

Am I in your vlog?

On time like a pro.

[crosstalk 00:15:28] I know.

I mean, I try.

I try.

[crosstalk 00:15:39] I'm here ahead of you!

That's Benji.

I'm sure all of you know him from Video Influencers.

Him and Sean do an amazing job on that channel.

So we're working together today.

And hopin' to provide a crap ton of value for the people here.

So we just finished the event.

Obviously, if you watch YouTube you know Benji and Sean from Video Influencers.

Two of my favorite people in the space.

We've been collaborating for a very long time -

Yes, yes.

And have kind of grown together, which is really, really cool.

So I wanted to talk about ... We did this event, we were providing all this info on

how to grow on YouTube ... I want to dive into how to get your first thousand subscribers.

Yes.

So we're going to talk about that.

Yep.

But also I wanted to talk about the fact that we technically ... People probably see us

as competitors, but my motto is "Collaboration over competition."

Yeah.

I think that's how you grow together.

So you invited me here to talk at this event today.

What are your thoughts on collaboration?

Absolutely.

I think it's literally one of the number one ways to grow your subscriber base is to collaborate

with other people, right?

And for them to collaborate with you.

And this what I say.

The reason I never think of you or other people in this space as competition is because literally

there's not enough of us.

Totally.

There are so many people out there that want to learn this stuff in different ways, right?

People that ... You know, one of the reasons why I love collaborating with you today is

you're a female expert at YouTube, right?

There's not enough females.

And females will relate to you.

Like even some of the jokes you were saying and some of the experiences, I felt like that

audience will connect with you way more, ten times better than I could ever connect.

So if you come from a different lifestyle, you know, like you're from a different country

... Again, whatever makes you unique is what's going to create opportunity for you, and not

necessarily compete with other people.

Collaboration's so important.

Totally.

Let's talk about how you get your first 1,000 subscribers.

It's probably the top question I get asked in the comments.

So yes, I hear you.

I'm listening.

I've done a video on the topic.

But let's talk about some updated tactics because we both grown a lot.

We've come a long way.

We had to get that first thousand subscribers.

What do you say nowadays to get there?

Two things.

One basic and one like high level strategy half right now.

Number one, be completely clear in what it is that you want to do on YouTube, what it

is you want to offer your audience, and who you want to connect with.

If you understand that, it's gonna be easier for you to create quality content that YouTube

is going to surface in the top ranks of search.

Secondly, if you have the chops, go live.

Okay?

This is a huge hack right now.

If you go live and then upload a video a few days later, there is something about those

two working together.

As long as the live, you're putting out quality content ... It's huge right now.

So that would be the hack.

But again, the clarity goes along with going live too, right?

Like that live can't just be random mumbo jumbo.

Right.

It's gotta be about whatever it is that - Intentional.

What you're intentional about your content.

Is that enough for you?

No, that's perfect.

That's really good.

I mean, you can keep going if there's anything else you want.

No.

I'll just say this.

The last thing is there is so much opportunity on YouTube.

In fact, I'm gonna ... We just wrote this book, "YouTube Secrets", and of course I'm

plugging this, but the reason we wrote this after being on this platform for 10 years

is we believe there's going to be so much more opportunity coming for a long period

of time.

Yeah.

You know, like you see like platforms going up and down, but you always see YouTube being

completely relevant.

Yeah.

Totally.

And number one.

So start the channel if you haven't.

And if you've got a channel, you're just getting going, it's going to take some time.

This is a marathon, not a sprint, and there is just so much that you can be doing with

YouTube, right now.

And I'm just going to add onto your two tips.

So I think one thing that's really, really important when you go live, like you said,

be intentional about it.

And if you're just starting, first and foremost, just start making content.

'Cause would you agree that you can't actually master the platform and until you start making

content?

Absolutely.

So you've got to start making the content.

Second of all, do searchable content.

You talked about this a lot today.

I harp on it all the time.

Do searchable content on your lives.

Because those lives can rank in the rankings, you can be number one, you can show up in

suggested for a live video because it lives on forever, and then you're continuing to

get views and racking up those views over time.

So finally, I think we just touch on like the keywords, the titles, the search factor,

'cause I would still say that that's like king on YouTube.

Oh, absolutely.

Yeah.

So I mean like when I say 'clarity', it goes along with it, right?

Like that title has to be so clear for people.

I love your example of like don't use crazy long titles.

Use something that's focused and it's around something that people actually search, a thumbnail

that's relevant, and the content has just got to be fire.

It's got to be clear.

And I would just say on the collaboration front, too, collaborate with people who are

the same size as you.

A lot of the time people want to collaborate with these people that are like massive, massive

followings.

And yes, that's possible, but we started collabing when we were around the same size in our channels,

and way smaller than where we are now, and that helped us build mutual audiences and

built each other together.

So don't be afraid to work with people who are at the same stage as you.

Because the beautiful thing about that is years later you're doing events like this.

There you go.

Perfect.

Thank you so much.

It's the first time I've done a video in this sort of like day in the life style.

So what else do you want to see of my life and of work?

And if you liked it, of course, hit that like button below.

Wendy's NEW Barbecue Cheeseburger Review - Duration: 11:01.

Hello everyone, this is Running On Empty ...

Food Review! Well, hello, ladies and gentlemen and everyone watching.

This is Running On Empty Food Review. I am your host TheReportOfTheWeek.

So Wendy's is making a few changes to their menu at early 2019.

And I think every place does is where they'll change it around a little bit. They'll add a few items

Take a few off, organized things and that's exactly what Wendy's is doing today

Wendy's made a few changes

Especially in regards to their burger lineup

specifically they added three new burgers and

it was

to make the analogy to say that it was like Russian roulette is that that's going too far but it was uh it was

It was one of them that immediately called out to me and then two of them were kind of iffy

Obviously as the title says one of these releases is the barbeque

Cheeseburger because honestly if there is one of these three burgers that I was gonna get I know it was gonna be that barbeque

Cheeseburger because I was like trying the barbecue ones out

But otherwise, I have like a mushroom and swiss burger, which I could get

You know McDonald's is doing that back in December

I guess that's that's the latest craze of the fast food world and then they have their they're all

all-knowing

omnipotent

Masterful (shawshawsolme) sauce

Burger that they also are premiering

I think they saw some bacon on that one

But I was thinking I was looking at the three of them and I was thinking, you know

Even though people might really be focusing on the schlocksohmome seems to last one not so much the mushroom one

I thought I really want to just try out that

Barbeque cheeseburger because again, like I said as a general consumer, that's what called out to me

And that's what I want to try out today

So on it, it's a pretty basic burger, but it sounds like it might be interesting. It's got a quarter pound beef patty

Crispy fried onions like, you know the onion strings

American cheese sweet and smoky barbecue sauce and

Pickles now the burger you can get it by itself

You can get it as a bit of a meal deal the price for this one. I'm pretty sure it was

$5.50. I'm not mistaken. I got the receipt

Right here. Make sure pretty sure it was $5.50 for the burger

Yep, five dollars and fifty cents on the money so, you know a little pricey

But if it's a premium sandwich and it tastes really good then, you know, maybe we will be getting what we paid for

So just have to see there. All right before we get into the review just a few little announcements

I want to make number one

I want to thank a few people that helped support this channel and radio show podcast on patreon

I just want to give a quick shout out to Cathy Foster,

The Trees Network

Thomas Forbes and an individual who goes by the name

David James Jacob Lindsey

The four of them just do a great deal to help keep everything going if you want to do your part to help out

consider supporting at patreon.com/thereportoftheweek

Likewise, now some of you will know this word-for-word, right?

All right, he's gonna go on about the sound cloud right get ready brace yourselves

But this is gonna throw you off

You you will not be able to comprehend this

Your mind will not be able to process it let alone digest it physically and mentally because that's not what I'm promoting

The matter of fact I did a lot of work over this last week

My radio show it still will be going out on shortwave

If you know I discontinued one broadcast, but it still goes out every Thursday Friday

Sunday, you know. They have the broadcast go in there

But I made a huge effort to also make it into a podcast and I added it to a lot of podcasting sites

You could find it also on YouTube

youtube.com/vorwpodcast

You could also simply find it on iTunes Spotify

tune in google play

stitcher

just by searching

VORW those four letters. It'll come up if you want to be in more detail though

VORW Podcast. It's a talk program, but it covers a lot of goods stuff really recommend to check it out

We've got all these new links even a pastebin file on how to how to tune in all that in the description

We're gonna maybe even try to squeeze a few in in the cards if that's possible

But in the description and the pinned comments and we're just gonna make sure that you know how to tune in effortlessly and easily

with that said

Now as the

metaphorical expression goes on to the Wendy's barbeque

cheeseburger of things let's go and

Try this out

This was made fresh got an extra recepit there

You were wondering whether that was a motorcycle a loud car it wasn't a matter of fact that was the burger

(An unknown entity enters the reviewing environment)

There's a bird, on the windshield... (Is it really a bird though?)

Hello Bird! It's part of my security detail (or so I thought)

Here's the bird dagur

That kind of rhymes with bird

you can see, you know, looks as described I mean

you know, it's

Not necessarily your no-frills burger, but you know, it's very basic

I think that's the best way to put it you can see there's two pickles

You can see the barbecue sauce right there on the bun

Likewise we have the bottom bun the onion strings

the

burger patty and

Cheese, so, you know, I think I said it's a very basic

burger

There we go. And again just to get that real close-up shot

no, you can see it's a

Freshly made burger two slices of cheese there one on top one on the bottom good amount of sauce

but again, like like we said

Very basic burger. I'm gonna try it out for you. I'll let you know what it tastes

Like that's all that I have. So it is the barbecue cheeseburger from Wendy's

Going in

And yeah, there's a... if only you could see there's this. Uh, I don't know if it's a crow or if it's a grackle or a

Blackbird. I don't know what it's doing if it's

Cleaning itself or going to the bathroom. I don't know what we'll just say that it's just guarding

You know

It really cares about this burger and it just wants to make sure you know that

That nothing nothing gets in the way of this review. So anyway

barbeque

cheeseburger from Wendy's going in

(In-depth Bird Analysis begins)

What is this THING?

Is it even a bird?? What if it's a dog that just looks like a bird?!

The realization is made, the epiphany has happened.

I know this bird better than it knows itself, and that fact is made clear at this moment.

Had to let him know

It needed to be done, this bird wasn't part of the security detail after all.

Double Agent

I'm gonna take two more bites

Bird: I think that your suit looks terrible, that's what you get for calling me out

He's talking trash about my suit it's not that bad

Awaiting response...

You know, I gotta say I was impressed by the burger sometimes when a sandwich is really good

You know, you don't really have the most to say about it

Because you're just satisfied with it. And this is one of those burgers. The beef patty wasn't overwhelming

It was tender juicy. Very flavorful tasted good no complaints there

that that sauce

They put a good amount of the barbecue sauce on it

I would say that it's more on the sweet side than anything else, but it really just blends in good

there's a good amount of it and then those pickles that they added on it really just give a good amount of Tang to

It so that's where it it just all blends together

Well, if you ask me like there's some sandwiches or you know

You could pick out ingredient by ingredient and you can say right

Well, this really stands out listen, and then there's others where everything just kind of goes in is us this melodious mixture

This is one of those sandwiches where everything just comes together. Well and

You know, it's I think they really did a good job on this all the ingredients tie together just into one good

Just overall good final product the cheese despite there being the two slices of it isn't overwhelming as I said

It just blends together good taste good and those fried onion strings

It does add this little bit of crunch where it's just it's detectable. It tastes good

It adds a little bit of texture to it, but it's not overwhelming at all

Now I would say the price for this at around five dollars and fifty cents is a little bit expensive just for a burger

But I'm not gonna complain this time around because you know, I'm satisfied with it

Like I said, if you like these barbecue burgers, you know, whatever they call them. Rodeo burgers barbecue burgers Bart

Yeah

You know

I think you'll like this one because Wendy's I think the sauce just is great ties it together and

They just did a good job with this one. So out of ten I'm gonna give it a 9.0 out of ten

I'm just satisfied with it. Overall. I think they did a good job with it. That's all that I have for you

So thank you for tuning in! I'm your host to TheReportOfTheWeek.

Honda Brio Discontinued | No Replacement, Buy Used? | CarDekho | #in2mins - Duration: 2:06.

Welcome to CarDekho, where we help you pick the right car, right now.

Today, we take a look at the Honda Brio.

Once, Honda India's most affordable car that's now been discontinued.

Why'd it happen, where does this leave Brio owners & is it still a car worth buying?

Time to find out, just in2mins.

The Brio was first launched in India back in 2011 and received its first and only update

5 years later.

Even then, it was only a refresh and not a brand new generation.

Fresher rivals like the Swift & Grand i10, and the availability of more modern, yet,

more affordable alternatives like the Tata Tiago, meant that even after an update, the

Brio didn't find many takers.

With low demand for the car, it didn't make sense to update the Brio to meet the upcoming

crash test norms, so Honda decided it's best to lay the Brio to rest.

Additionally, with launches like the new CR-V, the new Civic and the new Amaze, Honda is

going back to their original game of offering premium cars for India and staying away from

budget-focused segments.

As of now, there are no plans to launch a replacement for the Brio.

Nope, no plans to bring the 2nd generation Brio to India either.

So, now, the most affordable Honda car is the new Amaze, while the main hatchback offering

is now the Jazz.

Production of the Honda Brio has stopped but a few units may still be available with dealers.

If you wanted the Honda Brio for its fun to drive nature, or wanted an extremely easy

to drive small car for city commutes, most likely as an addition to the main car of your

garage, you can push for heavy discounts and incentives, since dealers will be looking

to clear stock.

This also means that used Honda Brios will get even cheaper to buy.

While it wasn't a hot selling car, the Honda Brio is extremely reliable and pocket friendly

to own.

If you're looking to buy one or already own one, you don't have to worry about spare

parts either.

Will you miss the Honda Brio?

Let us know in the comments.

Ealing Durga Puja.

There's a lot connected with that venue.

Puja has to happen there.

I don't care about your Puja

and Gabrielle Nistico, along with some of the strongest voices in our industry.

>> Rock your business like a BOSS.

>> A VO BOSS.

>> A VO BOSS.

>> A VO BOSS.

Stephanie: Hi everybody, hello BOSSes.

My name is Stephanie Matard, and I am an entrepreneur.

I am a VO BOSS, and I am BOSSalicious.

I love it.

Before I say anything about myself, because let's be honest, we don't really, we don't

really care.

We just, we just want Anne and Gabby.

That's the main, the main event, OK?

So I just want to say, thank you so very, very much for everything that you are doing,

and it is sometimes creepy when there are situations that are going on in my business,

and you guys then have a podcast about that same subject.

And I sometimes feel like you're tapping into my phone wires or like spying on my VO BOSS

life because you know all the subjects.

It's quite impressive.

So [laughs] anyways, thank you so much for all that you're doing.

So the question is, what do you love about voiceover?

And for me it starts with being an entrepreneur.

I was 16 years old, working at the Pretzel Stop in Toledo, Ohio.

At that time I was 16, and I was already saying this business stuff is cool.

I'm into it.

I want to do this.

This is, I want to be my own boss one day.

So with this entrepreneurial ideal in the back of my mind, I said, "why don't I go

for the easiest entrepreneurial thing that we can ever do, and that everybody is a success

at it?

I'm going to become an actress."

So I ended up studying theater and drama in San Diego, and then I got a job in Italy.

And after Italy I met my husband, and the rest is history.

And I ended up in France.

So I'm a French-American now and I live in France, and the situation is that when you

are an actor, normally you have to speak the language.

And when I first got here, I did not speak one word of French.

It was horrible.

So I kind of put all those dreams aside, and I got a regular 9-to-5 job, and I wanted to

put bicycle spokes into my eyeballs every single day.

Fast forwarding again to recent years and my husband basically saying, "hey, Steph,

I'm looking at these ads, and they're looking for English-speaking voiceovers."

I'm like, "what, what is that," in like my dumbness, and I realize that, "hey, this

voiceover thing, there's something to it.

I can live and work in France and speak English and bring a value to my clients and serve

them because I am now in a niche market here, and I can also work globally from any client

all over the world.

And I can now follow my dreams, and I can become an entrepreneur, and this is so exciting!"

So I studied, and I studied, and I did some internships, and I did some training, and

I learned about equipment, and I did so many things.

I did all the things.

And every single step of the way, it felt right.

There was that knowing, sort of like when you meet the right guy, and you're like, "yeah,

I'm going to marry this Frenchie, and I'm going to leave my whole country, and friends,

and everybody."

And everybody's like, are you sure?

And I'm like, "this is totally right.

I get it."

Now we have been married for nine years.

So, but I knew it in the depths of my soul that this was the right thing, and that's

kind of how I felt about voiceover.

I'm following my gut here on this one.

It's like that gut feeling that's saying, "this is why, this is what you should be

doing," that sensation that you know that you're in the right place.

So I hope that you guys are all in the right place, and I hope you guys are rocking your

business like a BOSS, and thank you, Anne and Gabby, for this opportunity to be on the

VO BOSS podcast!

Woop-woop!

Anne: Welcome, everybody, to the VO BOSS podcast.

I'm your host, Anne Ganguzza, along with my VO Valentine bestie, Gabby Nistico.

Hey, Gabby.

Gabby: Awww!

VO Valentine!

Anne: Yay!!

Gabby: Oh, I love you.

Anne: 'Cause I love my VO Valentine BOSStie-bestie Gabby.

Gabby: Yeahhh!

It is, it's the Valentine's day addition of VO BOSS.

Instead of us telling you all the reasons that we love voiceover, um that we ask you

all the reasons that you love voiceover.

And so we have some very special guest BOSSes for today's episode.

Anne: We do.

And we are so full of… love.

Gabby: Oh, I thought you were going to say something else, but yeah.

Anne: Wait, that just sounded bad, didn't it?

Gabby: [laughs]

Anne: We are so full of love.

Gabby: Full of –

Anne: Gabby and I.

Gabby: – something.

[both laugh]

Anne: We're full of something.

You know, I love this podcast.

I say this all the time, I love working with you.

I love the fact that we're doing something cool for the community and that hopefully

they're benefiting and getting some really good stuff out of it.

I don't know, Gab, I mean, it just makes me feel good.

Gabby: I'm swaying and blushing.

You just can't see it yet.

Anne: Aww! [laughs]

Gabby: [laughs] I totally – I know what you mean.

I do, and I love the love, period, that, the outpouring of support that we've received.

I love when we have random people come up to us and tell us that something that we did

or said in the podcast has helped them or impacted their career, or you know, I – you

know what?

Actually the thing that I love the most is the "I needed to hear that today" comments,

or when somebody goes, you know, "I thought it was just me."

Anne: Yeah.

Gabby: I'm like, "no, it's never just you.

It's not.

It's never just me either."

We're all in this.

Anne: Yeah.

Sending us an email, thanking us –

Gabby: Yeah.

Anne: – or giving us a text message saying "thanks so much for talking about that, that

was really helpful, and I really needed to hear that," I love that too.

That's probably one of my favorite things –

Gabby: Yeah.

Anne: – that I love about this podcast.

[laughs]

Gabby: You know what?

There's two guest BOSSes today that are right there with you.

So Linda Poff and also Morgan Walton were cool enough to send us their audio as to why

they love voiceover and what they love about our business.

And the resounding answer was this industry, the people.

So let's hear what they have to say.

Morgan: Hey, BOSSes, this is Morgan Walton, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, now

#CalifoniaDreamin in SoCal.

I want to thank you ladies for everything you do for this community.

I really enjoy all the information and advice you guys give us on a weekly basis, and that

really kind of goes hand-in-hand with what I love about VO.

Now I mean, I love creating characters.

I love doing the character work and bringing the words from the scripts to life, but the

overall support that we have for each other is absolutely stunning.

I have been in the theater community and the live-action community for over 25 years, which

parts of that can get downright nasty.

So it's refreshing to see how welcoming and supportive this community really is.

I mean, and how much we stand up for each other, which you don't see very often in the

acting world.

Honestly the camaraderie and support for each other in every step of the process is really

just heartwarming and makes the entire process that much more magical.

So my part that I love about VO is just this amazing, supportive group which, thank you

for everything you guys do that helps lead that frame of mind.

Thank you for giving the opportunity to share our voices with everyone.

So sweet VO dreams to everybody out there, and appreciate and keep working and doing

the things that we're doing here.

Linda: Hi, this is your SoCal VO gal Linda Poff, talking to you live here from beautiful

southern California on a Sunday afternoon.

While there's a lot of reasons to love VO, to be honest, and it was really hard for me

– I thought about this all day – the different things I love about VO and to pick just one,

ehh, how do you pick?

You guys, we have the most spectacular community.

It is so supportive.

We fill each other in on opportunities.

We give each other heads up on scams.

We give each other direction towards great coaches, great groups to join up with, wonderful

seminars to attend.

I mean, I can't say that I've ever experienced that with any other group or society that

I've belonged to.

In a nutshell, why do I love VO so much?

I guess because it's a moving target, and I'm always trying to beat my best and hit

that target every single time.

So I love the challenge.

I don't get frustrated.

Sometimes I do, a little bit.

But I love the challenge.

It's always pushing me to be my best.

That's what I love about VO.

It's a personal best.

I have to do the best I can to achieve the goal I want.

There you go.

Sunday, fun day, woo-hoo! and yes, I did just record in addition.

Ha ha ha.

Anne: You know, I love, love, love – because this is all about love – I love that she

said that it's a personal challenge, in addition to, you know, the fact that we have a great

community, but the personal challenge I can totally identify with that because every day

I have a challenge.

And I love that.

I love to rise up to the challenge and just see where it gets me and how it helps me to

grow.

Gabby: You know, I was in a car – it was a couple of weeks ago, with a couple of friends,

and my husband, and my best friend, and somebody made a passing comment while we were driving

and said, "you know, well, I mean, come on.

How many people here can say they love their jobs?"

And I –

Anne: [laughs]

Gabby: – was like [small voice] ...mmmmeeee?

I can.

And I'm like very slowly raising my hand, and I swear, they all looked at me in unison,

and they just went, "shut up, Gabby.

We know."

[both laugh]

Gabby: And I'm like, "I'm sorry.

I really, like I genuinely love my job."

I love the people.

I love what we get to do every day.

I love that this is how I make money.

Anne: Yeah, I mean, that's the bonus of it.

Gabby: Right?

Anne: That we can love it and then make money too.

Freaking awesome.

Gabby: Freaking crazy.

Anne: I think anybody that's listened to our podcast knows that we also love money a little

bit.

Gabby: Yeah.

Yeah.

A lot a bit, a lot a bit.

Anne: You know, it helps us to love our jobs even more, right because it, we're able

to, we're able to make a living.

Gabby: Mm-hmm.

Morgan and Linda, I think they touched on something really great there, which is of

course that this community, more so than I've ever seen in anywhere else that I've worked,

we really do have each other's backs, and there is a love and a camaraderie here that

you just don't find in too many other industries.

I think we can all be thankful and appreciative of that, and you know, gosh, VO Atlanta is

coming up.

And so we're all going to be all huggy and stupid.

Anne: Oh yeah.

Gabby: Lovey and oh God.

It's coming, it's coming, and then inevitably the con crud comes with it, because we get

sick, because we can't stop hugging and like rubbing ourselves against people and smooching.

It's really ridiculous.

I mean, come on.

Anne: It happens.

It happens, and you know, it happens at every major convention, by the way.

Just so you know.

Gabby: It does.

Anne: It's not just the voiceover conventions.

Gabby: No.

Anne: It happens at any major trade show, and I know that, why?

Because my husband.

Gabby: Oh!

Anne: My husband does trade shows.

He will usually bring it back.

Gabby: It's true, but you know, most other trade shows, people shake hands.

We're like all up in each other like –

Anne: That's true, that's true.

[both laugh]

Gabby: It's a little ridiculous.

We get seriously close and personal with, with our voiceover friends.

It's, you know, yeah.

Anne: Well, and I think the fact that, you know, also, we lift each other up, which I

think is really important, we help each other out.

We give referrals, and I think what the main – I think the main reason, not only because

we have a great group of people, but the fact that, if you can look at your job and not

necessarily say you are in competition with your colleague, I think that really helps

to be generous and kind and supportive and loving towards one another.

And I think if that, that's – I think always, we have been told, I think when we get into

this industry, we're not really in competition with one another.

No, we are but not really.

Gabby: No, not really.

So our next guest VO BOSS, this is, this is pretty great.

Adam Dergiman, who is a British voice actor, he was kind enough to send us a piece of audio

and, oh my gosh, I just, I was so enamored with everything he said.

So to hear – I'll let you guys listen.

Adam: Hi Anne, hi Gabby, my name's Adam.

And I come from England.

Originally I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa.

I love the VO industry because it has literally meant that I can be a giant nerd when I need

to be, and I still love looking at every single piece of copy that comes across my desk and/or

my email inbox.

I have gotten to train with some voice acting coaches who have literally been the voices

of my idols of games and characters, along with people who have been powerhouses of like

promo and industry and acting.

And just being able to play, it's just so much fun.

I know that there's this massive business voiceover side to it as well, which I'm not

going to lie, my inner adult kind of groans at me because I look at it and go, "but

I wanna play!"

So I just thought I'd give you guys a little bit of a history into myself, into the reasons

why I just love VO.

And I certainly hope that I will see you in front of a microphone in the same booth as

me someday soon.

Thanks a lot, take care.

Gabby: How freaking cute is he?

Anne: Oh my gosh, that was, that was amazing.

Gabby: Oh my God.

Anne: "I want to [laughs]

Gabby: Right?

Anne: Yes.

"I want to play, I want to play."

I do love the fact that I – "I want to play!"

And I think that's what drove me, Gabby, out of my corporate job long ago, because I literally

was not having that creative, playful side of me.

It just wasn't happening, and I craved it.

I craved it.

Gabby: Everything that he said just brought me right back to when I was a kid, and yeah.

I mean, I had these dreams in my head of what I didn't even know was voiceover back then.

You know, like I was obsessed with the Muppets, and you know different cartoons, and you know,

like God, I remember the day I met Rob Paulsen for the first time.

And there's a picture on my website of me and him.

And I mean I'm smiling like a goober –

Anne: Mm-hmm.

Gabby: – because I'm so just enthralled with it.

"It's Rob Paulsen!

He's right there!

He's next to me!"

Anne: Our idols are here.

Gabby: Yes!

And there is like, my gosh, we've, we do, we get to play, and imagine, and explore,

and create, and ugh it's just the best feeling in the world to do that every day and again

get paid for it.

Anne: [laughs] Exactly.

Exactly.

Gabby: So we have one more guest BOSS for our Valentine's Day edition.

We're gonna close things off, and we're gonna hear from Brian Craddock.

Brian: Hey guys.

Hey Gabby.

My name's Brian Craddock.

I presently live in Tampa, Florida.

I am originally from Levittown, New York.

What I love about the voiceover industry is that it will allow me to be whatever I want,

or whoever I want.

I don't need to pretend to be something I'm not, unless I want to do that.

I can be me.

I can be that guy that you meet on the street.

I can be the guy that I am outside of work unless that's the job.

I can be the evil Emperor.

I can be that 2:00 a.m. friend who needs that shoulder to cry on.

I can be whatever I want, but that's what I love.

I don't have to be something I'm not, unless I want.

Anne: "I can be the evil Emperor."

Gabby: Right?

How great is that?

Anne: I love that.

Gabby: Big, big shoutout and a what-what to a fellow Long Islander right there.

Anne: [laughs] He makes a great point.

And I love the fact that I can be myself and get paid for that.

[laughs] I love that.

And I, and he's got such a great point saying that, yeah, if only if he chooses to be someone

else, he gets to do whatever he wants to do.

That's awesome.

Gabby: For most of my adult life, I have had multiple conversations with friends that obviously

in other professions who will say to me, you know, "I wish I could wear that to work.

Or I wish I could – oh I really want to dye my hair that color because you know, I

can't because my boss won't let me."

Or you know, "I would totally get a tattoo but mmm I got to be careful because I really,

they don't, they don't like that where I work."

And I'm like, "God, I've never had that problem, ever.

I can be me."

Anne: So true.

And it's encouraged, Gabby, that's the cool thing, right?

People want to connect with not the pretty voice, right?

Gabby: Right?

Anne: We're always talking about connecting with, with you, bring yourself to the party,

because that's who people want to connect with.

And what is so cool about that is that while striving to do that, right, while striving

to bring myself forward and being able to connect with my intended audience, that allows

me to discover more about myself, to be braver about, you know, bringing myself to the party.

And with that comes all sorts of life lesson.

So yeah, I love that being able to be yourself also kind of pushes you towards a journey

to discovering yourself and discovering more and more about yourself and pushing yourself,

and then it's celebrated when you are yourself.

And that really allows you to connect with other people.

And even though you may think you're in a booth by yourself, and I think that's just

a really cool challenge, I think, that is not just, you know, boring work related, but

it is.

It is work for us.

Gabby: Yeah, no, it totally is.

There's this weird Catch-22, right, where we have clients who are like, "oh, be yourself

and you know, just be you on mic and just be really casual and natural," and you go,

"yeah, OK."

Kinda.

You know, no, no actor is ever truly really playing themselves, but at the same time,

if we're not in touch with us, and we don't, you know, love ourselves, know ourselves,

Anne: Right.

That's it.

Gabby: – respect ourselves, accept ourselves – yeah.

Anne: You're not going to be able to be vulnerable like that.

Gabby: Bam.

Anne: Yeah, exactly.

When we were talking, Gabby, before about a Valentine's Day episode and love, and I

said, we were talking about what should we talk about, I said, you know, there's so many

people I know that just don't love their voice.

Gabby: Yeah.

Anne: And you know, it's about being able to love yourself because you're really bringing

yourself to the party, to love your voice, to be able to offer that to people.

Gabby: Yeah, yeah, it's true, and I think all voice actors go through this weird cycle.

I've written about this in my book where I think it's this really funny thing that

goes, "I love my voice.

Oh God, I hate my voice."

Anne: I hate my voice.

Gabby: I love my voice!

Anne: So true, right.

Gabby: It's this weird, yeah, there's this weird roller coaster for our first couple

of years where we go through that, and then it kind of levels off.

Anne: Yeah.

Gabby: You go, you know what, "it's not my voice.

I love me."

Anne: And that becomes – yeah, and that becomes I think self acceptance, self-love,

and really that allows you to love others.

And see, it's all about love, Gabby.

Gabby: It is.

I know it is.

Anne: All about love.

Gabby: I love you, Ms. Ganguzza.

Anne: Awww!
