How To Cook Salmon On The Grill - Cedar Plank Salmon Grill Recipe - Grilling Fish - Duration: 8:32.

This is Lyle with No Hippie barbecue when I be doing in

this video is we're going to be making some cedar plank salmon on the grill was trying to do

this a couple of weeks ago but the rain just was not working with me during the

days I wanted to grill so finally got some clear weather finally gonna knock

it out anyway I'm gonna be trying a marinade from a company called miners

mix it's their salmon marinade and they sent this to me after I bought some

other product from him so I appreciate that

anyway this is a salmon marinade that is not only good on salmon but all fish

they're saying so really to come up with this marinade all we're gonna be doing

is adding the contents of this package with a quarter cup of vinegar I happen

to be using some rice wine vinegar just because I have it on hand I think it

would go great with the soy sauce we have and then you add some olive oil so

it's 1/2 cup of olive oil the quarter cup each of both of those other

ingredients and listens they may not only have this salmon marinade now I

haven't tasted this yet but they also have steak and veggie seasoning they

have a roast and prime rib seasoning I'm gonna be getting to this pretty soon

I've already tasted the extra extra garlic seasoning this stuff is the bomb

here and I've also tasted the Memphis barbecue rub as well anyway I'm gonna

leave a link to where you can buy all this goodness in the description below

run by their you know good prices on this been a lot of companies coming out

lately with some good spices and this is one of them anyway I'm going to set this

to the side then I'm gonna let you know what our ingredients are now this thing

is saying that you can just marinate this fish for 10 to 15 minutes so that's

a lot faster than some of these other marinades so be marinade so I'm gonna be

really interested to see how this turns out anyway the salmon I have is about a

three pound Salmon we have this right here I'm going to go ahead

rinse this salmon off then we'll come back over here get this marinade meet up

and I have a cedar plank that I've been soaking all day here's what I'm gonna do

with this salmon and I normally wouldn't do it if it wasn't such a large salmon

but we're gonna hook our dogs up today so we're just gonna go ahead we're gonna

cut this bottom off right here like I said I would normally not waste the time

to do this we're gonna this side is pretty flat compared to this thick part

here so we're just gonna kind of run our knife down there and my dogs will be

thanking me later and then I'm just gonna cut the salmon into portions I don't

want this whole salmon just to sit on here so I'm gonna well I want to have it

served a little bit better so we're just gonna cut this into portions here and

this could be as big or as small as you want or you can put the whole salmon on

I think cutting it in portions is gonna be good for two reasons it's gonna be

good because the marinade is gonna be able to get in there a little bit better

and it's gonna be better at the end so instead of cutting this in thirds I'm

just gonna go boom like this and let's get the marinade hooked up so

the first thing I need to do is take our miners mix just put that in our Bowl I'm

not gonna be using a whisk because my whisk is in the dishwasher and the fork

should be fine just skip that in and I'm interested to see how good a 15-minute

marinade is gonna be on this so we got that we're gonna hit it with our soy

sauce our rice wine vinegar or any kind of vinegar that you would like and we

have our olive oil we're just going to kind of stir this up

me let's go ahead and get our salmon in here I'm probably going to do this in

two of these different containers here I'm not sure that all this well this is

not gonna fit in here so we get one more in here no that's fine

all right so we got that let's just go ahead and pour this over and then I'll

go ahead and get another container get the rest of the salmon in and meet you

out at the Weber what I am using is the weber kettle grill and i have the slow

and sear attachment in here now one thing i did do is move this to the

middle so I can get my plank completely over those coals and I'm gonna just put

these put this plank on here until the bottom of this starts crackling and it

starts to kind of blacking up a little bit on the edges and then we'll go ahead

and get the fish on all right guys this board is starting to crackle as you can

see got a little blackness coming in down there now this fish has had a

chance to actually marinate closer or marinate closer to about 23 25 minutes

just because it took a while for this board to start humming so anyway let's

go ahead and get our salmon on here and I flipped this salmon twice when it was

sitting in that marinade

and looks like this board or this cedar plank is just big enough

barely

so I'm just gonna go ahead and shut this lid and I'm gonna check on this this

shouldn't take too long I'm gonna check on this in about seven minutes so about

seven minutes have gone by and it still isn't quite ready yet I'm just gonna go

ahead and just brush on a little bit more of this marinade that we have and

the smell if this is putting off is remarkable looks like these are almost

about done I was kind of pushing on this to taste it

and it kind of flaked off right there and I did get a chance to eat it and I'm

gonna tell you that is deglaze just I'm gonna go ahead and pull this off the

grill get in the side taste it see what's up

alright guys it is a wrap I think my dogs think it's delicious because

they're back here barking so I'm gonna get into this to see what I think about

this I did taste a little bit windows on the grill I'm telling you I wouldn't

have thought that it would have been packing that much flavor I said it's on

point I need to read that ingredient list see what's on there cuz this is a

real kind of look yeah I can't put my finger out something that I haven't

tasted before I'm Sam yeah this is a winner

you can taste some that oh penis or not openness that's either kind of wood

flavor coming through from that plank and seriously if you plan on making some

cedar plank anything make sure the bottom of your plank is

gonna charred up a little bit

I better stop eating right now anyway I

Make A Natural Skin Lightening Chemical Peel At Home | Erase Acne Scars, Pigmentation & Dark Spots ! - Duration: 4:35.

Hi friends, this is Ramya from wildturmeric. In this video I wanted to share

a homemade glycolic acid peel that is absolutely amazing. Glycolic peel is one

of the most common treatments done worldwide for reducing acne, acne scars,

melasma, photo aging and hyperpigmentation. Generally for the

treatment, glycolic acid is obtained from sugar cane. Since glycolic acid has the

smallest molecular weight, it penetrates the skin easily which is also a major

reason that it is so popular. There is lot of difference between applying

fresh sugarcane extracts and glycolic acid isolated from sugar cane.

When we apply straight glycolic acid, the amount of time it is to be applied and

the concentration is very very important and certain precautions like applying

topical retinoids should be done before doing the treatment to prevent skin

burning so it is best done at the hands of experts. But there is a way to do

glycolic acid peel at home without having to worry about any side effects. This

homemade glycolic acid peel off mask will smoothen your skin immediately,

remove blackheads and whiteheads along with fading scars, dark spots, suntan and pigmentation.

The main magic ingredient we need for the mask is jaggery. We call

jaggery "Vellam" in Tamil and it is called "Gud" in Hindi. It is one of the best

natural unprocessed sweeteners that retains most of its nutrient value. It is

rich in alpha hydroxy acid particularly glycolic acid. It has amazing anti

pigmentation properties so it helps reduce all scars and blemishes really

well. It also smoothens and softens the skin

immediately. I was amazed the first time I used this glycolic peel. It removed all

my blackheads along with making my skin soft and

smooth. Try to buy organic jaggery for best results. The next ingredient we need

is gelatin. Gelatin has amazing skin healing properties. It is a rich source

of collagen which does wonders to our hair and skin

both went taken internally and applied externally. If we use gelatin face

packs regularly, our skin will be always blemish free. Gelatin also helps convert this

pack into a peel of mask. Try to buy unflavored gelatin for this pack. The

final ingredient we need is honey. Honey is an amazing conditioner and a natural

skin healer. It softens our skin and helps even out the skin tone by fading

out scars and blemishes. Try to use raw unprocessed organic honey for best

results. But try to use the exact amount of honey mentioned in the recipe else

you will not be able to peel off the mask. The mask will be too sticky.

First take a small piece of jaggery in a bowl. Add in 3 tablespoons of water to it.

Now boil this mixture on a low flame till the jaggery is dissolved into the water

and strain. Now take two tablespoons of jaggery water in a bowl. Add in a

tablespoon of gelatin to it. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes till the

gelatin blooms. Now heat this mixture in a double boiler till the gelatin is fully

dissolved. To the dissolved gelatin mixture, add in 1/4 teaspoon of honey

and mix well. Now your homemade glycolic peel off mask is ready! To use, tie your

hair back and using a brush, apply a thin coat all over the face and neck. Make

sure to apply an even thick coat all over the face and neck. Now wait for it

to dry completely. Once completely dry, peel of the mask slowly. When we peel off

the mask, it will pull out weak facial hair along with the blackheads and

whiteheads. Redness, irritation and swelling are some of the common side

effects of chemical glycolic peel but with this homemade peel of mask there is

no side effects at all. It fades scars and blemishes and helps us get a smooth

even skin tone if used regularly weekly once.
