Youtube daily Sep 1 2018

Hi! I'm Patrick Ginty, and welcome to Catholic NC TV, in this installation of

Google's Most Searched Questions: Catholic Edition. In this episode, we're

going to be looking at the #1 and the #6 most asked questions

about Catholics on Google. They are "Why do Catholics pray to Mary?", and, "Why do

Catholics worship Mary?" The first thing we need to clarify about Catholics and

their prayer to Mary, is that question #6 should not even exist. We do NOT

worship Mary. We only worship God. We are monotheists. Mary, the saints and everyone

else are not God. Only God is God: the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

So number six, let's just get that out of the way. Let's get to the real question:

"Why do Catholics pray to Mary?" We already know that it's not worship so we know

we're not being idolatrous, we're not putting gods before God. Mary is not a god

to us. But why do we pray to her? First of all, you have to understand what our

prayer actually includes. It includes praise, it includes petitioning Mary, and

it also includes honor. The reason we do this, and the reason that it's not sinful

and it's not against our Christian faith, is because we already do all these

things with human beings here on earth! We praise people all the time! I just

went to my kindergarten, my girl's kindergarten graduation, and they gave

her a diploma, and everyone clapped and everyone praised her for getting such

good grades in kindergarten. Praising other humans is not against our faith!

Also, let's look at honoring. You know, we are actually told in the ten

commandments to honor our mother and to honor our father. And so honoring other

human beings, that's also not against our faith. And then asking for intercession,

petitioning the Blessed Virgin Mary, it's another thing that we also do here on

earth all the time! I'm a sinner! I am very far from being where I'm supposed

to be as a Christian, and I people to pray for me all the time, and

people ask me to pray for them all the time! This is a very Christian thing to

do! And this is what we do with Mary. The next thing you might say is, "Hey, but

Patrick, you know, you're talking about people on earth; Mary's dead! So why can

you do all those things with someone who is dead? That's what makes it wrong!" And

I'll just say this: first of all when you say Mary is dead, you have to remember

that as Christians, we believe that even though we die, we are still alive in

Christ; that we are with him in heaven, especially if we are "saved", if we've

accepted Christ, if He's living in us, and we die in a state of grace. And so, even

Romans 6 talks about Christ being alive in us, us being alive in Christ. My

question to you is: is Mary more dead, or is she more alive? Was she more alive

here on earth, or is she more alive now that she's fully with Jesus Christ in heaven?

and if she's still alive in Christ in heaven, then we can treat her as any

other human being on earth! Honoring, praising, and asking for

petition. The second imagery that we can use for people who are in heaven, but

that are still alive in Christ, is John 15, where Jesus says, 'I am the vine and

you are the branches', and then he talks about us as the ones who produce the

fruit. I ask you one question about that, too. Mary who is in heaven with Jesus, is

she, all of a sudden, cut off from the vine? Is she no longer a branch? Can she

and the people that are in heaven no longer produce fruit? And if you say

that they can't, show me where that's in Scripture. What we know about heaven and

the people that are in heaven is this: St. Paul says, 'Eye has not seen, nor ear

heard. It hasn't even entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for

those who love Him.' We believe that the people that are in heaven are still

united to us in Christ. They help us because they want us to be there with

them. It's not against Scripture. It's not against Christianity. It's not against

our faith. It's something that Jesus wants for us, and that's why we pray to Mary.

I'm Patrick Ginty, and from all of us here at Catholic NC TV, may God bless you and

Your families.

-Hi, I'm Ray Romano,

Okay.

Here we go.

It's a lovely mountainside.

Lovely water. Steam coming...

Oh, nice little forest with the sun coming out of it.

Sun coming through it.

Beautiful waterfall.

Very serene.

Water cascading down.

Beautiful forest.

[ Screaming ]

Okay.

Try it again.

[ Laughing ]

Whew.

Might have pooped a little.

[ Laughter ]

That won't happen this time.

[ Breathing deeply ]

If it doesn't happen, it's okay, right?

All right.

It says, "Follow the red dot."

It's a bunch of, like, psychedelic stuff and a red dot.

It's okay.

I know...

Mm. Mm.

Man in his underwear popped out.

Didn't faze me 'cause I grew up with my father,

and I've seen that for 58 years.

Next video's gonna start in nine seconds.

[ Breathing deeply ]

[ Laughing ]

They tried a little trick one.

When it got to five seconds,

they put a weird-looking guy in there.

A nice bedroom.

Anna, you would like this.

It's furniture.

"Error -- It's not possible to connect to the server

at this time."

This is a setup. This is a setup.

It's saying, "The network connection was lo--"

[ Screams ]

I [bleep] knew it!

Jeep Wrangler JL N-Fab Cab Length RKR Textured Black Side Step Bars (2018 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 9:27.

Hey guys.

Today I'm here with the N-Fab Cab Length RKR Side Step Bars fitting all 2018 4-Door JL

Wranglers.

So when you lift your Jeep, getting in and out can become a challenge if you don't have

a side step to help you out.

And especially if you're vertically challenged, like I am.

These N-Fab side steps are going to be a perfect option to help you get in and out of your

Jeep very easily and they're also going to double as some underbody and side body protection

for whenever you're going out on the trails.

So this is really gonna be for the JL owner that's looking for the best of both worlds.

So I usually wouldn't recommend this kind of side step to the avid off-roader because

this does hang a little bit low and has the potential to get hung up on rocks or other

obstacles while you're crawling.

However with this particular step bar you can take those off with a couple of hand tools

in a matter of minutes.

I also would like to mention that this is mounted to the pinch weld in the underbody

and not to the actual body mounts.

So these will be able to take some crazy abuse, however these will still be very solid and

rigid and hold up to whatever you throw at them.

So at the moment these are going to be listed on the page for about $500 and I personally

think that that's a reasonable price considering this doubles as a rock slider and a side step.

Other less expensive options on the page that you may be seeing will be for some more basic

options like just the rail by itself with no stepping surface or something that has

a fixed or a welded drop down step.

Personally I think that these are a pretty good price for what these are and they even

come with a limited lifetime warranty to keep a little bit of peace of mind.

So install is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

You're gonna need a couple of hand tools to get the job done and it shouldn't take you

any longer from a half hour to an hour.

So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.

The tools that I used for my install today were an impact wrench, pair of safety glasses,

a 19 millimeter and a 13 millimeter open-ended wrench, a three-eighths inch drive ratchet,

a quarter-inch drive ratchet, a 19 millimeter shallow socket, a 13 millimeter, 12 millimeter

and 10 millimeter deep socket.

So we're gonna be spending most of our time underneath the Jeep.

So I would recommend for the first couple of steps that you grab a creeper or something

comfortable to lay on.

You're also gonna need a 13 millimeter deep socket and a 10 millimeter deep socket as

well as a ratchet or an impact wrench.

Our first step is to remove these 10 millimeter nuts that are on the studs on our pinch weld.

There's going to be two on either side of each body mount so there will be six in total.

I'm using a 10 millimeter deep socket and a quarter-inch drive ratchet since it is smaller

to get that off.

Since these are fairly new bolts, since the JL is newer then they will be pretty easy

to get off.

So after you remove the nuts on the back of the pinch weld here we do need to remove the

bolts that are holding in three of these body mounts.

They are gonna be a 13 millimeter bolt.

I'm using a 13 millimeter deep socket impact wrench to get those off and I'm starting with

the front one and moving my way down and I'm gonna leave the middle one for last so we

can balance everything and get everything off.

After those nine bolts are out, we can remove our side step.

Just like your stock side step you are getting full wheel-to-wheel coverage with your new

N-Fab step rail.

So this is made of a plastic material that we obviously know that can break and get pretty

damaged when we're out on the trail if it does take a beating, however with the new

N-Fab side step you are getting a lot more of a durable construction.

And it's gonna be able to take a beating off-road so this is made of welded steel tubing that's

one and three quarter inch thick.

It's going to have a texture black powder coat finish on it to resist any surface damage,

any chipping on the paint, it's gonna resist any rust or corrosion on the metal.

And it's really going to give you a sleek and off-road look overall.

So the mounting points on the new side step are the same exact mounting points on this.

Just as easy as this was to take off is the new one to put on.

You also get two mounting points on each side rail for a side step.

You get four side steps with this package, and this is going to be perfect if you need

a drop down side step for easy access inside of the Jeep.

And whenever you want to hit the trail and don't want this in the way to get hung up

on any obstacles, you can easily take the two bolts out and take this right off and

still have the same protection.

This is also gonna provide a large stepping surface to easily get into your Jeep and you're

going to have a bunch of dimples on the front to allow water to drain through and not become

slippery and it's just gonna provide you a whole ton of traction when you're getting

into the Jeep.

You also have a couple cutouts on the sides and a bar here for some extra styling as well

as some extra reinforcement.

So now we can bolt up our new side step and get our steps installed.

So now our next step after our side step is bolted up is to bolt up our steps.

So you're gonna take the provided bolt and bolt it up facing the inside of the step here.

And we're gonna do that with both sides.

So once that is sitting there we can attach our nuts.

Now you can take a 19 millimeter box wrench and a 19 millimeter socket and a ratchet and

just tighten those down.

And you're going to repeat the process for the back step and then on the other side as

well.

That's gonna wrap up for my review and install on the N-Fab Cab Length RKR Side Step Bars

fitting all 2018 4-Door JL Wranglers.

Relaxing Piano Music Romantic Music, Beautiful Music, Soothing Sleep Music, Relaxing Music - Duration: 2:00:18.

The Power of Music To Reduce Stress

The soothing power of music is well-established

It has a unique link to our emotions

so can be an extremely effective stress management tool.

Listening to music can have a tremendously relaxing effect

on our minds and bodies

especially slow, quiet classical music.

This type of music can have a beneficial effect on our physiological functions

slowing the pulse and heart rate

lowering blood pressure,

and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.

As music can absorb our attention

it acts as a distraction at the same time

it helps to explore emotions

This means it can be a great aid to meditation

helping to prevent the mind wandering.

Musical preference varies widely between individuals

so only you can decide what you like and what is suitable for each mood.

But even if you don't usually listen to classical music

it may be worth giving it a try

when selecting the most calming music.

When people are very stressed

there is a tendency to avoid actively listening to music

Perhaps it feels like a waste of time

not helping to achieve anything.

But as we know,

productivity increases when stress is reduced,

so this is another area where you can gain vast rewards

It just takes a small effort to begin with

To incorporate music into a busy life,

try playing CDs in the car,

or put the radio on when in the bath or shower.

Take portable music with you when walking the dog

or put the stereo on instead of the TV.

Singing (or shouting) along

can also be a great release of tension

and karaoke is very enjoyable

for some extroverts!

Calming music before bedtime

promotes peace and relaxation and helps to induce sleep.

How To Make Pastrami - Homemade Tri-Tip Pastrami Recipe - Duration: 10:51.

what's up everybody this is Lyle with no

hippie BBQ and what I'm be doing today

is I'm going to be taking tri-tip to a

different level anyway before I get to

that I want to let you know that this

recipe is in collaboration with another

YouTube channel by the name of everyday

barbecue some of you guys know that me

and Mike are pretty close on YouTube and

what we decided to do was come up with a

recipe for tri-tip that took it a little

bit outside of the box so what I'm gonna

be doing today is I'm going to be making homemade

pastrami out of mine I'm not sure what

he's doing with his but listen I'm gonna

leave a link to his channel my card

above and description below run by there

show him some love he's putting them

some seriously good content

anyway the recipe that I'm gonna be

using for my pastrami Recipe is the recipe that

I got off of a website called the

artesian Jewish deli now they went a

little bit more traditional

they used a brisket which most Pastrami

is made with like I said I'm going with

the tracks if I thought that would be a

nice little change up on it anyway I'm

gonna leave a link to Mike's video on

the iCard above the description below as

well like I said I'm not sure what he's

gonna be doing but he's definitely going

to be doing outside the box on it anyway

these ingredients that I'm going to be

using for this easy pastrami Recipe pretty close to

what the original recipe was I did make

a few changes and we'll get into those

changes once we get to the ingredients

which is right now I'm just gonna be

adding my ingredients as we go along

first of all I'm starting off with three

quarts of water and we're gonna also be

adding another two and a half three

quarts of water later we have some

granulated sugar some granulated salt

now I will have a recipe in the

description but I am cutting that salt

in half we have about a quarter cup of

trake powder number one I'm gonna leave

a link in the description where you can

buy this from on Amazon and I'm also

going to have a note regarding the

amount of

crepe powder that we're using because

some people think that that's a lot and

I've done research on it and as long as

we're curing it doing a wet brine we are

fine on that I have some minced garlic

mustard seeds and some pickling spice

one thing that I'm not adding to this is

some coriander seeds I feel that there's

enough in that pickling spice we have

some brown sugar and honey I'm gonna

eyeball the honey all right first thing

I need to do is get this on the stove

bring it up to a boil and then we'll get

down to the rest of this just to a boil

we're going to go ahead and add some ice

water to it to cool it down

and we're going to let that completely

cool before we go ahead and add our

fried tip to it but I am going to go

ahead and get my tri-tip in these bags

this is about four total pounds maybe

closer to five total panels of tri-tip

and I'm just gonna be doing this over

two ziplock bags and this is gonna have

a chance to cure for bout five five days

six days at the most

we're not going to be trimming anything

off of this

alright this just needs to cool down

it's gonna go to bed and refrigerator

for five big Brian's had a chance to

cool down now we're just going to go

ahead and add it to our ziploc bag we're

going to want to make sure that we stir

it real quick before we put it in

like I said this is gonna go in the

refrigerator for five out or five days

excuse me and then we're gonna go ahead

and smoke it up I'm not sure what smoker

gonna use but listen if you don't have a

smoker you know the book that I was

reading that had this pastrami recipe in it a lot

of the Jewish delis that make this don't

even use a smoker so if you just have an

oven that's gonna be fine in the oven as

well anyway I'm gonna finish filling

these up and we'll get back for five

days now that this track tips had a

chance to cure in that brine for five

days what we're gonna do and I'm gonna

do this off camera is I'm just gonna

drain all this liquid off of these tri

tips and just set them to the side let

them come to room temperature a little

bit right now what I'm gonna do is go

ahead and make this road that we're

going to be using so this room is 1/4

cup of coriander 2 tablespoons of

paprika now the recipe I'm following was

an oven recipe so they use smoked

paprika in theirs

I'm using my smoker so I'm just going

some regular paprika and we have 2

tablespoons fresh crack fresh black

pepper I'm just gonna kind of mix this

up transfer it that broke into a shaker

so we're just going to go ahead and

start seasoning up this tri-tip

now the recipe that I'm following like

it said was for a brisket pastrami which

is typically what pastrami is made out

of they were cooking at 300 degrees

there's and I'm going to be cooking

somewhere in the low twos are mine and

instead of going to 200 degrees internal

temperature I am going to cook this more

on the medium well side but that's only

gonna be like 140 hundred 45 degrees on

this and I am Telling You this is

smelling good and it hasn't even hit the

hit the smoker yet it seems to already

have taken on some of that aroma from

that cure that we have

I'm not sure if I mentioned it or not

but the smoker I'm going to be using

today is going to be my Camp Chef

woodwind now one thing about this Camp

Chef woodwind is you have a low smoke

setting and then a high smoke setting

the high smoke setting is going to put

you somewhere between 225 to 230 five

degrees so that's we're going to be

rolling with today and this is going to

be a relatively short cook so I'm not

going to use any meat probes or anything

like that

alright gonna let that corned beef go till we get to

about 140 hundred forty-five degrees so

let's go ahead and check this

tri-tip out see what our temperature is

looks like we are almost at 145 degrees

I want to let this cook for about

another seven eight minutes and then

we'll just bring it inside and I'm gonna

just foil it up and let it rest so it's

probably even going to climb a few more

degrees after that which I'm fine with

here's what we're looking like right

here just pulled it off the smoker I'm

just going to go ahead and tin it in

some foil and we'll get slicing it here

in a little bit it comes to these

tri-tips you have grains that are

running two separate directions on this

and it's usually right where you'll see

it kind of curved so the first thing

we're going to do is we're just going to

kind of cut cut right there then we're

going to start slicing against the grain

on both sides talking about these dreams

right here or coming down this direction

and these are going this way so we're

just gonna kind of come right here at

the joint set one side or one decide

like I said these grains are running

this way so we're going to be slicing

this way but take a look at that color

right there and I was thinking about

doing this in the meat slicer which I

still may do with this second one what

it looks like we're getting thin enough

slices out of this

that looks good I'm gonna go ahead and

finish cutting this up plating and see

how this came out

now that we have it sliced up I guess

there's only one thing that I need to do

and that's to get into this taste test

now before I do that I do want to remind

you that this video is in collaboration

with my boy Mike over at everyday

barbecue the concept of this tri-tip was

to do something outside of the box not

just the regular old grill tri-tip or

versatile attractive or anything like

that so I'm gonna leave a link again to

that video go take a look at that and

see what he came up with

anyway let's get Anna tasters

passing good flavor to it well then

picking up in this which next time I do

it cuz I like it might have a little bit

more of a hint to like that honey

or maybe cut back on that sugar because

it is tad bit sweet but definitely

outside the box

I have enough scour to YouTube to see if

there's anybody else making tracks if

astronomy book this is the first time

I've done it nothing that's a good go

recipe anyway well thank you guys that

stop my new hippie BBQ I appreciate it

magic that's see how easy that is

that's easy peasy lemon squeezy mmm and

now we're going to use one-and-a-half

pounds I'm lean stewed beef seasoned it

up with a little salt and black pepper

you know get that seasoning mixed up

there and then we're gonna add a little

bit of all-purpose flour I'm throwing

1/4 cup in here but you know we're gonna

use whatever sticks to the meat that's

all so give it a good toss get your ass

to me coated up with flour and then

that's all that's gonna go in the stew

is whatever sticks to the meat so he

just stewpot up 3 tablespoons of oil on

medium high heat and then when you put

your meat in there it should start to

sear and sizzle right away you know

because you want your pot to be that hot

go ahead and make sure to spread it out

on the bottom then we'll leave it alone

and let let it sear and then you know

after a few minutes we'll go ahead and

turn it over and sear the other sides of

this meat you know kind of get it cooked

up around the edges and then we'll go

ahead and pour it out of the pot and let

your your meat kind of be xpect ater

there for a few minutes and while your

pot still hot we're gonna go ahead and

throw our onions in here follow it with

the table

spoon of butter you know stir that

around get that butter starting to melt

you know and while your meat sits off to

the side here

you know just relaxing we're gonna go

ahead and take about ten minutes to cook

up our onions and our garlic and our

bell peppers you know we're just gonna

let them sweat start to cook down a

little bit get a little bit of color on

you know soften up get it ready for the

spices and I don't go too crazy with the

spices you know I like my my stew to be

just kind of thick gravy mild hearty

kind of stupid but I am gonna put a

little bit of coriander in here a little

bit of cumin you know if you want it to

you put some chili powder you can go

it's heavy on the spices as you want but

you know I like the meaty greatness of

this dish to come through so we're gonna

throw the meat back into the mix you

know stir it up without all that hung

any spicy goodness and then we're gonna

add one can of diced tomatoes stir that

around and then we're gonna let these

ingredients bubble away for about five

minutes before we introduce our broth

and I'm gonna put one can of broth in

here 14 ounce can but you can put in two

cups if you want you know we're gonna

add a little more liquid later on throw

you a bay leaf in there your carrots

your celery if you're so inclined and

then we're gonna raise the temperature

you know we're gonna throw a lid on here

bring this pot up to a boil and then

we're gonna reduce the temperature down

to a simmer and cover it up again and

let this stew cook away simmer away for

about a half-hour and now when you take

your lid off your stew should be

starting to look awful Stewie you know

starting to get that kind of gravy look

to it smelling pretty damn good

you know and it's tater time time to

throw your big hunks and chunks of

potato in there and you know make sure

you got them cut up into some good sizes

because you don't want them to cook down

to nothing you know how do you some

water as needed I'm putting a half a can

in here not a lot just enough to cover

your ingredients up then we're gonna

throw the lid back on there and let this

pot simmer away for another 45 or 50

minutes

and then when the next time you pull

your lid off boom you should be good to

go you know look how awesome that looks

you know rich gravy delicious man that

there will stick to your ribs boom put

your spoon in there give it a taste test

you know see if you need any more

seasonings or not you know and if it

meets your standards then go ahead and

get it off the heat let it cool down to

a non-lethal temperature you know you

don't want to cook a big old pot of

stewed and then fry your taste buds on

that first bite you know so let it cool

down exercise some patience gonna let

pick it up a little bit you know it's

gonna be rich thick gravy stew man this

is ice you know just watch out for the

random stew things you know a few videos

back that somebody was commenting you

know about you guys I've been cooking so

much with plantains and rutabagas and
