♫ Music ♫

Why aren't you sleeping?

Because I'm watching videow to try to distract the mind because I can't sleep,

thinking that Googlelino is inside that little box ...

But he's fine, it's for a good reason, but ...

I can not sleep, I can not sleep.

Then I watch a movie to see if the time passes until he arrives.

My mother said that the baggage handler said he's already on the plane, at least.

That is, inside the plane he is.

Look, my mother sent one more!

I was getting on the plane and I saw him on the stairs, I went out and asked.

That's her explaining how she got to the luggage carrier ...

♫ Music ♫

We got here at the marina.

Marina Honey Ball.

And we're ready to go get Google.

We've already booked the car, so we're going to get the car to go get Google.

♫ Music ♫

Why is it that when you're in a hurry things tend to slow down?

Just so we can die from heart attack, right? Beto laughs at my face.

Now we're here waiting for the car that will take long, I think.

It's been over 40 minutes that we've been waiting here, practically 50 minutes.

I'm so nervous, I don't know if I kill or if I hang someone, I'm trying to find out what I do.

I start to cry before getting Google.

It's just that I get so pissed that we plan everything ...

We've been waiting for over an hour to rent the car... over an hour.

We have already rented on the internet, just to withdraw and the others have no more cars.

And this one that we are expecting the guy that is in the front for more than 50 minutes.

That is, we will not arrive in time to catch Google.

I'm very angry.

We already came by taxi so we did not have to take a bus, so we did not have to delay, we came to the marina, with time ...

We took the taxi at midday, enough time, but not to wait an hour to rent a car, right?

My goodness, if you only knew ...

I came here in the bathroom to see if I calm down, to see if I don't fly around people's necks.

Because I'm dangerous when I'm stressed, I'm dangerous.

Breathe ... Google will arrive, this is the most important thing, but I really wanted to be there when he arrived ...

A lot, a lot, a lot ... But that's okay ...

After 1:30 hours of delay, we are going to get Googlelino with the car, after I already cryied,

got mad, but ok...

And now let's see if we can make it. Google's flight, we looked at the internet, it's late too.

So maybe we still have a little hope that we'll get there in time.

♫ Music ♫

Google liked his box so much that he wants to go with Beto, look, "where are they taking my house?"

Googlelino is back, guys! Right, Googlelino?

Googlelino had a great trip, now he has already peed, he is entertained wondering what is happening here.

I'm wating for my mother, who left half the things in the way.

♫ Music ♫

A new pint on the tongue.

Who's different? Who's different?

♫ Music ♫

My love is already dying of heat, isn't it right, my love?

♫ Music ♫

♫ Music ♫

Googlelino now has a passport, all right.

We came here in an authorized place to get his passport, very good.

We decided to do this soon, they arrived yesterday, we decided to do it today,

because everything is recent, everything fresh.

And there was no problem, thank God!

Now Google can travel, he can do everything.

He no longer will have to go quarantine. If he goes to Brazil, he can come back, he doesn't have to do anything else.

♫ Music ♫

Who's back?

Googlelino, Googlelino!

We decided to buy the boat when we were here on our honeymoon.

and Google, obviously was in the plans, we never thought about abandoning Google,

leaving Google behind.

The process for dogs is much more time consuming than ours.

So as soon as we arrived, we did not even know whether we would buy the boat or not,

we started going after the bureaucratic part of Google.

First thing of all: dogs have to have microchip.

Google already came with a microchip, so that was a month less.

Of the whole process.

Because the first thing is to put the microchip, wait a month and take the rabies vaccine.

So we went to the vet, applied the anti-rabies vaccine, which is an international vaccine.

We waited a month for the serology.

♫ Music ♫

After the serology, you have to wait 3 months, which was the most time consuming process.

During these 3 months, Google's results, that is this one, everything went well,

his serology is all in order.

And you need this documentation to take to the Ministry of Agriculture.

We were no longer there when those three months passed.

And my mother took all the papers in the Ministry of Agriculture, which is at Viracopos airport,

it was the closest to us, but there is one at Guarulhos, too.

It worked, even though the guy said he was not going to embark the dog because of the name.

And it was with all the paperwork, which are: a certificate from the veterinarian saying that everything is in order;

serology, microchip application certificate and his vaccination card

showing exactly what day the anger vaccine was given.

My mother was super worried but in the end it was super fast and super ok.

And then, from the moment you take that paper in the Ministry of Agriculture, which is this one,

you have 10 days to reach the destination with your dog.

Strangely enough, they did not ask for paperwork at all.

This has already happened, I have read in several dog forums, sometimes they don't ask for the papers.

But you won't take the risk, right?

This bureaucratic part you always find step by step on the internet at the Ministry of Agriculture.

What was more complicated for us, right my love, was his size.

Because he is a large dog and many airlines do not accept large dogs.

So they said at first that we would have to dispatch as living cargo.

Then we started researching and it was 2,000 dollars to despatch him as a cargo.

I told Beto that it is absurd, it is more than a ticket for a human being, right?

And then we started to see other means and the other way was to dispatch him on the same plane

or as a companion dog.

We didn't choose to be a companion dog because no one is depressed, nobody needs him much

and we could be taking a space on the plane of someone who really needs, some blind person,

or a person who has depression, who has panic syndrome, anyway.

So we decided to dispatch him.

Talking to the vet, he also said that Google is a super zen dog, super peaceful,

it's going to be even better you dispatch him than he goes in the cabin.

Because of the light, because of the smell, because of people moving, food passing, small space ...

So we decided to dispatch him.

And let's agree that the house he came from, he came much more comfortable than us, who is sitting like that,

squeezed in the chair.

♫ Music ♫

So we bought Gulliver, the biggest one.

He got in the box, gave a 360 turn, did everything right. I filmed all this and went to talk to the Lufthansa people.

The day I went on board I went to Lufthansa, talked to the people there and they said:

We put this measure to remain some space, that he has to give a 360 degrees turn, all this,

because there are people who are clueless and puts the dog tight.

They said they have to feel that the dog is comfortable, if they see that the dog is comfortable,

okay.

So this was a dilemma I see that many people who have Goldens have this problem

to know the size of the box.

It seems very difficult. I suffered a lot until I was sure everything would work out.

We contacted a travel agency in Sorocaba, which is Home Travel.

And Paola, who was the one who took care of us, a person in love with dogs and,

whenever there was a dog to embark, she is responsible.

Then she started to research: in LATAM, only small dogs are allowed, the other could only weigh up to 30kg ...

Google has 33kg, plus the box, would not be enough.

Until we arrived at Lufthansa and she started to get in touch.

Because it is very difficult for you to do this flight research without some monitoring from some agency.

Because you need to call, you need to check that the plane you are going to take has room for the dog,

because it is not all the planes that have this compartment for the dog.

So it's nice to get in touch with some tour company to see that part.

And in the end, it was much cheaper, she made a super good deal for us and he came to Venice.

We just have to thank you, it was wonderful.

They accompanied Google at the time of shipment, it was super, it was very good.

My mother was responsible for bringing the little boy here.

In one of the flights she asked to leave the plane to talk to the guy who was carrying the bags,

to make sure Google was inside the flight.

The first night he got very agitated, he could not sleep right, he did not know what was happening.

They shoved him inside a box and suddenly he got out on a boat with everything going on, he was very euphoric.

Then at 3 in the morning he would go, take toys, he would go in the room, bring toys to my mother ...

He was going to take more toys to us, he would wake up my mother.

So no one slept the first night.

But on the second night everything was already in order.

Google is now an Italian citizen.

We chose to make the passport because as we travel the whole time,

the passport is nothing more than an updated and international vaccination card.

Then it is much easier, already has the number of the microchip here, already has the date of vaccination, already has the serology.

And already says that he entered Europe, so from the time he entered Europe,

he can circulate throughout Europe except a few countries such as UK and all.

But he can move around, just keep the rabies vaccine up to date.

That's the only thing the vet said.

And on the passport, I have to make two mega acknowledgments.

One, to Giovanni, who paid the fee, because usually when it is regional bank or you have to go to the bank

or you do transfer.

And it was much easier, as he is here from Italy, he made the transfer, which is 10 euros to make the passport.

And I also have to thank Gabriele, who is from Italy but lives in Brazil.

And he helped me find the nearest vet, he had already talked to the vet before,

explained the whole story, because of residence, check residence and everything.

Since we live on a boat.

So he helped with this and found the vet to do it.

We arrived on Monday and the vet already knew everything.

What did I need to bring to the vet?

I take all the documents, but basically you need to take the paper of the Ministry of Agriculture.

In the paper of the Ministry already has the microchip certificate, serology and rabies vaccine.

And I went with my Spanish citizenship.

See, Helio? For those who think I went to drink in Spain, I didn't. I went to get my ID.

That makes life a lot easier here in Europe.

Everyone who asked "and Google?", Every time I read it my heart was tight.

But tightened in a way ... I was missing him, missing him so much.

We always wondered, where is he going to sleep? Will he lick the mast?

Would he stretch as he stretched? Will he climb into bed? Will he go down and climb the ladder?

There were so many "What if?" and we were in an anxiety as soon as ...

I can not explain ... And his arrival, the time I saw him, he was watching ...

Oh, I can not even speak ...

He looked at it like that, but he did not know what he was doing, if he walked, if he did not walk,

if he licked me, then he started to lick me, he started to cry ...

He is loving the boat. He is "brizola", he is "brizola" out there, we talk "brizola". Né, brizola?

He's climbing the bed, of course. Lying in bed, obvious.

Not the first few days, because it was so hot. He just climbed a little and came down,

but lately it has cooled, he goes up and sleeps in bed and there he stays.

It's been almost 3 months that we've been waiting, right, sweetheart?

It was almost 3 months, it hurt a lot ... He was missed a lot, but now he's here, right, my love?

He's with his family and he's very happy.

Well, that's it, otherwise I'll keep crying.

And we're going to do a live on Thursday to get more questions about it, there are a lot of people who ask

so leave your comment to us to know what questions you have about a pet on board,

about traveling with pets, all this part, to get the doubt and clarify for everyone to have

your little animals together, because there is no more wonderful thing in the world than having them close to you.

Say bye! Good winds! Good winds!

My little italian, little italian...

Am I too old to ride the carousel? Biking through Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York - Duration: 8:32.

(Piano begins to play)

Robbie: Hey guys, so today we're going to be checking out Brooklyn's version of Central Park.

It's called Prospect Park, it was actually created by the same makers of Central Park:

Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.

And I'm joined with two of my friends today, James and Theresa, who will be showing me around.

Theresa: Hi!

Robbie: So right now we're going to start in the northern part of the park.

There's a formal entrance known as the Grand Army Plaza, which is where we are right now.

You pass by the Bailey's fountain and afterwards you make your way through this really elegant arch.

It's called the Soldier's and Sailors' Memorial Arch, and you make your way into Prospect Park.

James: So on Saturday's, here in Brooklyn we have the city's second largest farmer's

market, here at Grand Army Plaza (at the top of Prospect Park.)

It's kind of a big neighborhood gathering space.

You always see like city councilmen and like people running for office and like people

raising money, and musicians, and it's a good place to buy food.

(Electronic music plays)

Robbie: Alright guys so we just got to Prospect Park.

We are inside the park right now.

We are at the Long Meadow which goes on for over a mile.

Very relaxed.

James: Yeah, I love Central Park, but one of the things I like about Prospect Park is

that Prospect Park always feels a little bit more down to Earth.

There's not a lot of tourists.

It's more like people who live in Brooklyn, enjoying the outdoors on their weekend.

Playing games, picnicking, and running around with their kids.

It's got kind of like a chill vibe.

(Electronic music continues)

(Bicycle Bell)

Robbie: So behind me here is the boathouse.

You can actually rent a fishing rod right behind me here.

Although, it is a catch and release program so don't try and take any fish with you or

you will get probably about $120 summons, so definitely not worth it.

(Hip hop drums)

Theresa: One of the things I really love about Prospect Park is that you can find a lot of hidden gems

like this waterfall right here,

that you might not necessarily think are in the park because of it's city surroundings.

Robbie: So especially in the summer, Prospect Park offers a bunch of free programs that you can do.

They actually have this pop up autobahn behind me, and they have fishing rods

if you want to go fishing.

They also have bird watching program and informational walks, so if that is something you're interested in,

that's something you can do right here in Prospect Park,

Robbie: Turtle!

He is getting ready for Mardi Gras

James: This green is a naturally occurring plant in the pond that is called Duckweed, it's kind of like little tiny lilly pads.

The reason it's so extensive right now is because the pond suffers from a lot of nutrient pollution.

Mostly nitrogen and phosphorous.

Which just comes from urban runoff, stuff that's in the air, air traffic overhead.

You could sort of say the plants are converting the nutrient pollution into plant matter.

Robbie: So because Olmsted and Vaux built both Central Park and Prospect Park there

are definitely a lot of similarities.

One of the being the Children's Corner which is what we just arrived to.

You can see there is this very old carousel behind us.

Theresa: So the carousel was built in 1912 and features 53 horses, along with some giraffe,

a dear, and even two dragon pulled chariots.

Robbie: Ohhh, is there an age limit?

Cause I might ride if there's no age limit.

Theresa: I don't know, lets check it out.

Robbie: Alright haha.

Who says you're too old to ride a carousel?

Theresa: Not us!

Robbie: Also like Central Park is the fact that there is a zoo.

We are going to take a quick stroll through the Prospect Park zoo.

(electronic music plays)

Theresa: Female peacocks are mostly brown.

They do have some of the blue and turquoise coloring that you see from a peacock.

But for the most part they are much plainer than their male counterparts.

Robbie: It's definitely not a big zoo, but if you have kids they'll definitely get a kick out of it.

They have a lot of cool animals, one of my favorites was the Red Panda.

But if you have an afternoon with kids, I'd say the Prospect Park Zoo is a good spot to stop by.

(Music Plays)

Robbie: So another similarity that Prospect Park has to Central Park is the body of water behind me here called The Lake.

To me it's very similar to The Pond in Central Park if you've been there.

It's a great spot to camp out have a little picnic.

Hang out by the water.

(electronic music plays)

Robbie: So behind me here is the Bandshell.

It's where the Celebrate Brooklyn concert series takes places.

They have all sorts of different artists.

Sometimes it's big name people.

People like Bob Dylan, Talib Kwali, The Blue Man Group, Nora Jones have all performed here.

But then again you also have emerging artists, so you can see them before they become big.

Olmsted and Vaux, the creators of this park, after the success of Central Park

really were given a lot more resources to create the type of park that they wanted: to see their vision through,

and you really see that with the symmetry of this park.

It's broken into three even sections: A long meadow, which is like a grassy area, a wooded

area which is actually a native forest, here in Brooklyn, and a giant lake, which is like

the watery part of the park.

It's definitely a community oriented place and it's way less touristy than Central Park.

I got to say it was a lot of fun checking it out.

So you never know what you're going to experience walking here in New York.

We met this awesome, super nice Sudanese family.

We just wanted a shot for the barbecue, just to show that things are going on here at the

barbecue and they were like no you have to have a hot dog.

You got to have something to eat.

See guys this is the Brooklyn hospitality, I came over and they offered me food.

That's... good people, good people.

Theresa: Nothing brings people together like a New York hot dog.

Robbie: So very true.

They gave hot dogs to complete strangers.

Cheers.

Cheers!

Robbie: Well guys, that's all for this video.

This is just a quick tour of Prospect Park, I'm sure that there is plenty that we missed.
