Hey Guys it's Sagar, and I finally got my hands on the new Redmi Note 6 pro.

I wasn't sure If I would be able to order it via the flash sales on Flipkart and Xiaomi's

own website, So I went and got it from one of the Mi Stores in Pune.

It is available in 4 colour options Black, Blue, Rose Gold and Red.

And this time I went with the Blue coloured one.

Red was my first choice, but it was not available, so I had to choose another one.

With that out of the way, Let us get straight to the unboxing.

It comes in a white box, similar to the one that Redmi Note 5 pro came in.

And I got the one with 4GB Ram and 64GB of internal Storage, coz that was the only one

available in Blue colour.

For those of you, who are always asking me about it, the box says that the phone is made

in India.

Getting inside the box, we have the Phone sitting right at the top, and from the fist

look, it looks more or less just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, with the exception of this

notch at the top.

More on that later.

Now Let's keep it aside for a moment, while we take a look at other things in the box.

Below the phone in this envolope, we have the SIM tray removal Pin, some paper work

with warranty and regulatory information, and a thin transparent TPU case, to help you

protect this phone from scratches.

Then we have a standard 10watt charger.

This phone does support Qualcomm's Quick charge 3.0, but you will have to buy a compatible

fast charge charger separately, if you want to take advantage of the faster charging speeds.

We then have the USB Type A to micro USB cable for charging and data transfer, which again

is a bit disappointing.

We are almost at the end of 2018, and I think by now, budget smartphone companies should

start making the switch to the USB Type-C port on all of their devices.

Alright now lets put all these things aside, so we can take a better look at the phone

itself.

Let us remove this plastic covering the display, and please do not forget to remove this sticker

at the back as well.

I see so many people using their phones with this sticker on, and it looks really bad.

You can remove it and keep it in the box, if you want to keep it safe for some reason,

but please just remove it before you start using your phone.

This time, Xiaomi decided to go with a Black coloured front, no matter the colour of the

back, and I think this looks more aesthetically pleasing, and gives a more immersive experience

while using the phone.

Looking at the back of this phone, Other than slightly smaller plastic pieces at the top

and bottom, which now also runs along the sides, this phones will remind you of the

Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Everything from the placement of the fingerprint sensor to the camera module, looks exactly

like the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

It is not necessarily a bad thing, but we have got used looking at this design for so

long, that at least to me, it has started to look dated and boring.

So the first noticeable thing about the Redmi Note 6 Pro is the big 6.26 inch Full HD+ IPS

LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and a notch at the top.

The display is protected by Gorilla Glass, but Xiaomi did not mention the version of

the glass, so it is possible they are using the Gorilla glass 3 or 4, as they did with

their previous phones.

With about 500nits of brightness, The display is sharp, bright and crisp, at least in artificial

or controlled lighting situations.

I will have to test it outdoors and in bright sunlight, to see how it performs in those

situations.

You don't get capacitive navigation buttons on the small bezel below the display.

This bezel is actually smaller than the one on the Redmi Note 5 Pro, and is almost of

the same size, as the one we saw on the POCO F1.

Above the display, or I should say between the display, towards the top, you get a big

notch.

It houses the earpiece, proximity and ambient light sensor, Notification LED, a mammoth

20 megapixel front facing camera, couples with a separate 2 megapixel depth sensing

camera.

The front flash, or the torch that we saw on the Redmi Note 5 pro, has been removed.

For the buttons and ports, we have the volume and power buttons on the right side.

A Hybrid SIM tray on the left, which can hold 2 nano sim cards or One nano sim card and

a micro SD card.

At the Top is the 3.5mm Audio jack, IR blaster and a noise cancelling microphone.

At the bottom we have another microphone under this left grill, a speaker grill on the right

and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer.

Fingerprint sensor is where we see on most of the phones.

And we then have the dual cameras, which look same as the ones on the Note 5 Pro.

Main camera has a 12 megapixel sensor with F/1.9 aperture and a larger individual pixel

size of 1.4micron, while the secondary camera has a 5 megapixel sensor with F/2.2 aperture,

and it is use for capturing all the depth information.

At the front, this time we get a dual camera setup, where the primary camera has a 20 megapixel

sensor with F/2.0 aperture.

And the secondary camera is a 2 megapixel depth sensing sensor.

I have had this phone for less than 2 hours, so I haven't got a chance to take any images

with it, But if you have been following the channel for a while, you know that a very

detailed camera review is coming in up in the next few days.

Redmi Note 6 Pro packs in the same internals as the Redmi Note 5 Pro did.

It is running on the same Snapdragon 636 processor, with Adreno 509 GPU, 4/6GB of RAM, 64GB of

built in storage and 4000mAh non removable battery.

The phone was supposed to ship with MIUI 10, But my unit is running MiUi9 out of the box.

I did get an update to MIUI 10 after some time, but it is still based on Android 8.1.

I have had this phone for less than a day, so I cant really say a lot about its performance

and battery life right now.

But if you guys want, I will make a video about my experience in the first 48hour with

this phone.

What I can tell you now, is this phone looks and feels just like its predecessor, and with

the same internals and very little differences, from the first look, it doesn't look like

a worthy update to the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

I might be wrong, and maybe I will like it as I start using it, If that is the case,

I will let you guys know in the coming videos.

The recipe which we are making is

Britannia Treat Strawberry Freakshake

So who doesn't like munching at home?

along with that if you get this amazing shake it will be more enjoyable.

Many a time we buy & bring varieties of things at home

but not able to understand what to do with it.

Now from what I am doing is,

you will get many varieties

to cook food, to make shakes,

to bring 4 moons in your kitty parties

because this

Britannia Treat Strawberry Freakshake is

very interesting.

This is going to be made with

Britannia Treat Cookies.

Take this type of cookies, open 2 packets

and separate it from the middle.

In childhood it was a habit of every kid

to open it & lick the cream,

here you don't have to lick it,

take out the cream & keep it aside.

Remove 2 packets cream & keep it

because from this the shake will be very creamy.

So to make the shake first of all

what you have to do is,

take a blender jar,

add milk,

and add the cream of Britannia Treat Biscuits.

Generally you would have made many types of shake,

I will give you an important tip

to make it more interesting what you have to do.

So here is your Chunkies Tip -

In this strawberry freakshake we will add

melted white chocolate,

so that the shake becomes rich in taste

and if you don't have the white chocolate that also I will tell what you have to do,

most of the times it happens that white chocolate is not available at home

at that time you can use condensed milk

but at that time you have to check the quantity of sugar

because it will be more sweet

as condensed milk is more sweet,

now we will add strawberry crush in it

and to make any shake thick it is important to add Vanilla Icecream

now it is time to blend the shake

Wow, amazing!

Blending is done.

Next step, we will decorate the freak shake

& for that small small things are very important to do.

Here, I have beautiful jars,

we will decorate the jars

take chocolate

and spread the chocolate on the edges

and after that sprinkle some sprinklers

Wow!

Now see the jar has become amazing.

You don't have to fill the jar with whole shake

because this Britannia Strawberry freakshake is very interesting.

You can drink as well as eat it.

You will get double fun,

see what I have to do after that

first of all you have to add the biscuits

to make it chunky,

add Ferrero Rocher to make it more interesting,

garnish it with Chocolate wafer.

To make it more rich we will garnish it with whipped cream

and to bring more fun chocolate sauce is must.

Finally garnish it with assorted chocolate vermicelli

& Britannia Strawberry Biscuits.
