How to Paint Mandalas with Acrylics # 5 - Pendant and Keychain - Duration: 8:35.

Hello, welcome to my channel

Today we are going to make a pendant and a keychain in wood

Using the pointillism technique, I hope you like it

The materials we are going to use are

Wooden craft discs that are hole-punched

Acrylic painting black and of varied colors

Punches of various sizes

A few rings for keychains

a black or colored cord

We started painting our wooden disc

With black paint

We can help with a wooden stick to hold it

We painted it on both sides

Now that the paint is dry

Let's look for the center of the disc

Cut a circle of paper to the same extent as our wooden disk

folded in half

And again in half

Put your paper quarter on the disk and mark the center

We start by making a medium-sized dot in the center

We continue to make 12 small dots around the center dot

Now we make dots with a slightly larger size

Between every 2 dots 1

We repeat the same thing we have done previously

what only thing that will change

Is that we will change to a larger dot size at each turn

This way we will get the spiral effect

Now let's use a toothpick

Because we have to make very small dots between the holes that we have no dots

In the holes that are bigger we make 2 dots

And here that the holes are bigger we make 3 dots

These last dots we make with the punzon tip smaller

That's how it is, now the following design

We start with a medium-sized dot in the center

And now 8 small dots around the center dot

We continue to make dots with a slightly larger size

Between the dots we have made

And in this lap double dots of size

Now with a small size punch

We make dots around each point

We continue with bigger dots

now

With a single paint load

we dots from the bottom to the right

So they will decrease in size

Now the same as before but to the left

And now exactly the same but with another color

The range of colors I'm using is

pure white

Blue calypso

Red violet

And pink baby

And in the dots where the blue and the pink are of a lighter tone

It's because I added some white paint

And now we make bigger dots

We continue with a dot a little smaller on each side

And we finished with little dots

Filling in the spaces

And finally, once the paint is dry

Let's give a layer of spray glossy varnish

to protect and give shine
