What's up, guys?

Lonzo Ball isn't officially a member of the Lakers just yet, but it sounds like it's
only a matter of time before the Lakers use the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft
to make Lonzo a part of their team.
There has been some speculation about the Lakers potentially trading the pick or taking
a different player with it, but most NBA analysts believe Lonzo is ultimately going to be the
Lakers guy.
And even though things aren't 100 percent official just yet, it sounds like Lonzo is
already embracing the fact that he's likely going to be a Laker.
On Wednesday night, he made an appearance on ESPN's SportsCenter, and he was asked
about the possibility of playing alongside LeBron James one day soon.
There have been rumors about how LeBron might want to end his career in Los Angeles, and
that could include a stint with the Lakers.
Lonzo suggested that he would welcome the opportunity to play with LeBron when ESPN's
Michael Smith and Jemele Hill brought it up on SportsCenter.
Smith and Hill also asked Lonzo what he would say to LeBron to try and convince him to come
and play with him in Laker Land when he opts out of his current contract next summer and
becomes a free agent.
And somewhat surprisingly, Lonzo was happy to share his pitch for LeBron.
It would be interesting to see what would happen if LeBron did take his talents to L.A.
next July, when you consider the history that LeBron has with the Ball family.
After Lonzo's dad LaVar made some comments about LeBron's kids during an interview
earlier this year, LeBron shot back with some strong words for him and told him not to bring
up his kids again.
LeBron also seemed to poke fun at Lonzo's unorthodox shooting form prior to a game in
March, which prompted some people to believe that he was taking aim at Lonzo in light of
what LaVar said about his kids.
Lonzo responded to the situation a few days later and said he was flattered by the attention
he received from LeBron, but we imagine there would be the potential for some fireworks
if Lonzo and LeBron ever ended up on the same court together, and not just because they're
both talented players.
There is still a lot that would have to happen for Lonzo and LeBron to both end up on the
Lakers.
It starts with the Lakers actually drafting Lonzo on Thursday night.
But this will be yet another interesting subplot to follow when it comes to the careers of
both Lonzo and LeBron.
