Hello tankers!

In today's episode we'll be talking about

the upcoming changes in supplies and overdrives.

We'll also be announcing a new Weekend giveaway event with cool prizes.

If everything goes according to plan, in the next week or two,

we'll be implementing a massive update that will affect supplies and overdrives.

Let's start with supplies.

We'll be changing how the Repair kit works.

It will heal a big chunk of your hitpoints upon activation,

and then will heal the rest of your health bar over several seconds.

More importantly, if you receive any damage during that period of time, healing will stop.

This will make the Repair Kit more fair.

Right now, the Repair Kit heals you over two seconds,

which makes you almost invincible during this time.

We want to make Tanki a little fairer for players without supplies.

Also, close combat turrets such as FireBird, Freeze and Isida,

now suffer a lot in supply-battles

when wasting their energy bars against healing enemies.

The experiment that took place in Spring,

gave us some very useful data.

One of our general goals

was to make it possible to destroy enemies who use supplies ALL THE TIME.

Based on this data,

the active time of Double Armor, Double Damage and Speed Boost,

will be decreased,

while cooldowns will take longer.

Moreover we'll be decreasing SMART cooldowns.

We want to decrease smart cooldowns

to make it possible to have a full set of supplies faster,

for when you're on your way to the enemy base.

But you need to understand

that if you choose to activate a full supply set,

you'll be vulnerable for a while after that.

We also decided to drop one of the mechanics we used in the experiment.

It is when supply cooldowns do not reset after respawning.

It didn't achieve its goal,

which was to weaken a bit those players who spam supplies.

It also had some side effects like

"you're dead, you've respawned in your base,

and you can't do anything against your enemies."

Now about the interface.

Sound effects will indicate when supplies are activated,

and when they run out.

When a supply becomes available after a cooldown,

the game will alert you with both a sound AND a visual effect.

This means you won't have to pay attention

to the supplies panel at the bottom of the screen.

Now let's talk about overdrives.

As many have already guessed,

this mechanic will be returning to the game as a permanent feature.

It will be implemented in the game together with the changes in supplies.

Here's how the final version will work:

Overdrive's active time will be decreased,

to correspond to the active time of supplies after the update.

Just like before, the progress indicator will fill up

with every kill, flag or other action you perform for your team.

However, this will NOT happen while Overdrive is active.

This is how Supplies and Zero-supply worked during Tanki's last Birthday celebrations.

We did this to eliminate situations

where 2 or 3 tanks use the feature in quick succession

after killing enemies in their base right after they have respawned.

This update will also include new interface elements

a new Overdrive progress indicator,

and an icon that appears above your tank when Overdrive is ready to activate.

Of course if you prefer not to use this new game mechanic,

you can also deactivate it when creating a PRO battle.

Will we ever implement the Overdrives with flying tanks and atomic strikes

that you proposed in the special forum thread?

You'll find out in upcoming VLOGs.

Stay tuned!

We haven't had a giveaway event in a while.

So this weekend, we're having a crazy weekend giveaway.

This time the rules are a bit different.

The number of kills has changed, and you can do it across two days,

without having to eat and sleep at your PC for 24 hours.

Here are the rules

Tankers need to make 400, 900 or 2000 kills in TWO days, in NON PRO battles.

It's quite a challenge, BUT we've increased the rewards!

400 kills bring you 3 gold boxes.

900 kills bring you 5 gold boxes, and 3 days of Premium.

And if you can hit 2000 kills in two days,

you will get 10 gold boxes, 5 days of Premium, and the Steak paint,

if you don't already have it.

Moreover, on Monday, the 26th of June,

we'll be randomly choosing 3 players who have made more than 2000 kills,

and we will reward them with a Dream tank

consisting of a fully upgraded turret, hull and protection module of their choice,

available at their level.

And to make this weekend more exciting,

we're also having some discounts in the Shop and Garage,

plus 50% increased battle funds in non-PRO Battles.

All the details about the event, are on the homepage.

Last week, the English eSports team, together with the Broadcasting team,

organized a live stream for a cool new event called The Arena.

In it, two prominent clans from the community

ALL KIND, and PENGUINS

battled for 4 rounds to see who would capture the most flags.

The interesting part was that the map

was announced to the teams just ONE hour prior to the event.

Additionally, the map was one that isn't usually featured in eSports events.

This means that the teams had just one hour

to prepare their strategy for an unfamiliar map.

Moreover, each team member had to have a different hull and a different turret.

In the end, ALL KIND delivered a crushing defeat

and are now the current champions of The Arena…

that is, until someone knocks them down!

Stay on the lookout for future live streams of The Arena.

Find out whether the next challenger will manage to dethrone ALL KIND,

and watch the event LIVE for a chance to win LOTS of crystals!

Last week, you had to shoot a video on the Opposition map,

wearing the Metallic paint.

Let's watch the winning video.

For next week, we'd like you to take part in the Tanki Challenge.

The task has been prepared by our V-LOG helpers group.

Hey everyone!

Here is the task for the CHALLENGE.

You need to shoot a video where you jump from this roof on the Future map…

and land on this yard...

ON YOUR TRACKS.

The first team that manages to accomplish this,

will get 200 thousand crystals to split between its members.

Your team can have a maximum of 4 players.

Use the Orange paint.

That's it for today.

Make sure you don't miss any of our upcoming episodes.

See ya!

Last week the Ricochet fired into a group of tanks.

You had to guess how much damage it would deal in total.

The correct answer is 1840 — option D.

Here are our winners.

And here's the next question.

Where will Wasp stop?

Jeep Wrangler Bushwacker TrailArmor Rear Corner Guards (1997-2006 TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 3:53.

The Bushwacker TrailArmor rear corner guards are for those of you that want to add some

off-road styling to your Jeep, but don't have the need for some really hardcore protection

on the corners of your tub.

There are, of course, pieces of corner armor that are steel, that are drilled and bolted

directly through your tub, and they're going to provide a lot more protection in those

really hardcore, off-road situations.

These being a plastic piece of armor are going to help protect against scratches, they're

going to cover up any existing damage that you might have, and they're going to give

you that off-road look.

But again, not a ton of protection.

These are also going to be significantly less expensive than that true steel armor.

The installation of these corner guards is a very simple one out of three-wrench installation.

So I think overall, these are going to be fairly priced for the functionality that you

get from them.

These are going to be made out of that same Dura-Flex 2000 TPO material that Bushwacker

makes all of their fender flares out of.

So these are going to match in both finish and color with either a factory fender flare

or an aftermarket fender flare.

Of course, these do have the diamond plate textured pattern to them, which just adds

to that rugged styling.

Getting a little further into that install, as I said before, it is going to be a very

simple one out of three-wrench installation that can be done in right around an hour.

All you need to do is a little bit of disassembly to your Jeep.

On both sides, you're going to have to go ahead and remove your tail lights.

But on the driver side, there are also a couple of other pieces to loosen up or remove.

You're going to remove your license plate mount, and also the bezel around your fuel

fill neck.

Once all of those pieces are removed, it's very important to clean the tub of the Jeep.

Anytime you're attaching anything with 3M adhesive to the outside of the vehicle, you

want to make sure that that surface is very clean to make sure you get good adhesion.

You also want to do this install when the temperatures are moderate, somewhere around

70 degrees Fahrenheit.

That way, you make sure that you're going to get that good adhesion.

If it's too cold, these might not stick like you want them to.

So once you have everything removed and everything cleaned, it's just a matter of peeling off

the red 3M adhesive backing and pressing these into place.

Before you really press them into place though, you can go ahead and install the plastic clips.

Those are going to go into existing holes in the body of the Jeep, and that's going

to ensure that everything is lined up before you make sure that that adhesive is stuck

down.

Because once you stick this down, it is going to be stuck down pretty well.

There isn't a lot of opportunity to move things around.

So again, very easy install, can be done in right around an hour.

You will need some hand tools in order to remove those tail lights, the bezel, and your

license plate mount.

But other than that, just good cleaner, and you can do this in your driveway pretty easily.

I mentioned before that these are going to be less expensive than a steel piece of armor

that's going to offer a ton of off-road protection, and that's absolutely true.

These come in at right around $100.

There are a couple other versions of corner armor like this that are going to be around

that $100 price tag.

I do like the fact that Bushwacker offers a couple different versions of these, one

for those of you with pocket flares and one for those of you with factory flares.

Some of the other companies don't necessarily make that distinction.

So especially if you have a set of pocket flares, I definitely recommend going with

these.

If you don't have pocket flares, you have a couple of other options out there that are

all going to look the same, function the same, and fit pretty similarly.

So if you're looking to add some protection to the rear corners of your TJ, again, some

scratching, if you're looking to cover up some damage, or if you just like the style

and the look that these give you, I think that these are going to be a pretty easy install.

And they're going to be fairly priced for the amount of protection that you get.

So that's my review of the Bushwacker TrailArmor rear corner guards, fitting all 1997 to 2006

TJs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

#YOUREDOINGITWRONG

BROUGHT TO YOU BY 51 CACHAÇA

So many times in New York and we're finally going to see the Statue of Liberty.

I'm so excited - finally I'll find out what color it is!

Luckily, we reserved online, so we can skip this long line.

Too bad we can't go up to the "coroa"[crown] - you have to reserve months in advance.

No big deal, I already spend too much time with a "coroa"[middle-aged guy]. Let's go!

I loved visiting the Statue of Liberty!

It was great! And now, let's go back to Manhattan!

Why did we stop at this place, Ellis Island?

What is this? Who are these idiots! Let's go!!!!

You're doing it wrong!

Welcome back to #YOUREDOINGITWRONG, the program in which Amigo Gringo, with the support of 51 Cachaça,

shows you how to do things right in New York.

Rogério and Marilene, enter the rocket ship and sit down.

When you see the red light, respond "Yes" or "No".

Is it good to go to the Statue of Liberty but skip Ellis Island?

YESSSS!!!!!

You're doing it wrong! But in our game, if you lose, you win...

the chance to do things right. Explain why, Amigo Gringo!

That's right Eríquio, if you pay $18 for the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and don't visit

Ellis Island Immigration Museum is missing the best part!

The Statue of Liberty is pretty, but if you didn't reserve well in advance to go to the crown,

You can take a walk around the island, take your photos, and leave in 20 minutes.

There's not so much to see.

If you really want to learn about "liberty" in the United States, you'll like Ellis Island better.

And it's included in the $18 ticket.

-Ah, let's get off the boat here! -OK!

Every year, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit the Statue of Liberty

but skip the visit to the Immigration Museum - fricking idiots!

They've got it all wrong. It's my favorite museum in the city. Why?

Because it's not only a really interesting museum, but it was on that same island, in those same buildings

between 1892 and 1954, 12 million immigrants arrived from Europe and elsewhere

with the hope of staying in the United States.

In those years you didn't need a green card or visa

to enter the United States. But, as you'll learn on the island, you had to pass some tests

to enter in a second boat that would take you to Manhattan on route to a new life.

You had to be able to read.

Pass some other simple tests - really simple tests.

And pass a medical exam.

In the museum, you'll see where and how everything happened.

And you'll see what the immigrants ate. It was there that many tasted a banana for the first time in their lives.

You'll even see the suitcases they brought with them, and hear stories about those who didn't pass the tests

and had to return to their country.

The museum also talks about immigrants that arrived before and after Ellis Island was in operation.

[SPANISH] ...I didn't want to go on like that, and thought that if I came here I'd leave the past behind.

It also tells the story of African slaves and Native Americans

In other words, the story of immigration - showing the good parts and the bad parts.

You'll see that when immigrants finally saw the Statue of Liberty

after weeks on the sea, they still weren't free.

They had to spend a really tense time on Ellis Island, even more tense that it was for Rogério e Marilene.

NEW YORKESE CLASS

Once again I'm jealous of Rogério and Marilene, always traveling and seeing the best places.

We stay at home and they enjoy the city.

Folks, it is touristy - but don't miss the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

I've been at least ten times to Ellis Island, I don't stop at that green statue, but you should -

and that's why our drink of the day is a avocado cocktail with 51 Cachaça.

Vanessa will make them as I explain the New Yorkese class.

Did you see in the video that the people who work on Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty

wear uniforms? Why?

Because they are rangers of the National Park Services

the government agency that cares for our national parks.

OK, not just the national parks, because the Statue of Liberty isn't a "national park,"

It's a "national monument".

Some rangers serve as tour guides, and frankly, you won't meet better guides than in U.S. national parks.

I'm always impressed, especially because government agencies - in any government -

hardly ever function well.

But in this little corner of the American government, something went right because the rangers are great.

Are the drinks ready?

Drink with moderation. Don't share this content with minors.

Sp 303 Tutorial | How To Create Windy Rain FX - Duration: 4:13.

what's up everybody its JFilt I just wanted to introduce you guys to a

new family member and why don't you introduce yourself what's your name

tell em my name is sueplex okay yeah yeah sueplex because she body slams beats all right anyway

so this is the technique I'm going to show you guys how you can create instant

instant rain sounds with the wind in the background okay and this works for the

SP 303 or the 404 or 404sX okay so let me show you guys and you don't even have

to resample that's the great thing about this technique okay we've got an open

spot right here nothing on it so all you're going to do is use the mfx noise

generation you're going to use MFX noise generation that's gonna be number

15 if you on a 303 alright and it sounds like this you're gonna go to 15

see you can adjust it but what I'm gonna do is I'm going to have my control 2

knob which is this one turn it all the way to the left okay cuz I don't

want that static sound I just want the wind right like that

see that's sounds like rain right there if you do this you got like a

wind effect so the purpose of this is sometimes when you're recording you

might not want to do this you know adjust it like that the whole time you

know what im saying you might not want to do it like that every time you know you you

might want to just sample that so I'm going to show you how to sample that and

create your own instant rain and wind so all we're going to do is go to this

empty pad and sample it watch how simple this is man crazy watch this hit record

now I'm on pad five which is empty record is flashing because it's waiting

for you to record so I'm gonna hit the MFX

which is already on that noise generation right I'm gonna hit record

and then adjust as I'm recording and keep in mind I'm gonna keep it at the

steady rate right here this setting and then I'm going to bring it back to that

setting I'm going to show you why here we go

boom so you see how I brought it back the reason I did that is because I'm

going to loop it so is it's going to keep looping over and over and you won't

even be able to hear the cut off like where it starts over it's just gonna be

so clean now watch this this is the sample I just created right so now if I

loop it watch this

hit the loop

see its looping you cant even tell where loops are just clean right so now I got

that I could play a beat or do whatever and have my rain forest type effect in

the background with the wind

that's with the rain forest Peace

The Seven Elements Of Interior Design - Duration: 6:01.

The main elements of interior design are well-documented but some have been

forgotten about in the rush to discover new products, designers or business. Today

we're going to look at the seven elements of interior design that you'll

need to look at when you are designing any room or property. So in no particular

order, let's get started.

Negative or unfurnished space is as important as the furnished. You don't

have to fill every available space of course, but it is wise not to over

populate a room with furniture and accessories. In small spaces you can put

large objects in to fool the eye into thinking that it is larger than it is.

You tend to see this a lot in hallways; large pots in corners, huge artwork etc

In long rooms, consider splitting up the room to create different areas of

interest. Also think about what the room gets used for. If a spare room is used

mostly as a study, despite having a spare bed in it, put the study desk in the area

with the most light. You need to be practical, you need to be able to move

around each object and sit down without knocking into things.

It's simply economics but it does need to be thought about; preferably earlier

on in the scheme.

How much light do you have in the day? I mean, the sunrise, midday and dusk? You

need to really evaluate where your light is coming from and then you can look at

what colour applications will enhance that particular space. Consider ambient

lighting at night which is often the most important for most people being

that time when they're at home, of course. When I think of light, I often think of

shadow, so light streaming in is great for every room, but where doesn't it hit?

if you're going to light places with no direct daylight, you need to work out

what works best; be it wall, floor or overhead lighting - and then plan accordingly.

Again, early on in the scheme.

What does the room lend itself to furnishing wise? How can you accentuate

good shapes with colour and hide bad shapes and other flaws? Alcoves,

fireplaces, L-shaped rooms; they can all appear in awkward places within a home.

Most alcoves of course are tailor-made for bookcases and it's rare these days

to see either side of a fireplace not populated with built-in joinery - heaving

with books. Larger alcoves make perfect places for TV screens of course, either

with a base or fastened onto the wall. You need to utilise what you have, NOT

what you WISH you have!

Line is harder to work with but in essence you can enhance good lines and

beams and windows with furniture running along the same line. Blocking these lines

can jar the eye, as diagonals often make people feel uncomfortable. Working on

right angles is a very simple way to make things appear symmetrical even if

they aren't. Accentuate the furniture with rugs and artwork running along the

same lines as that furniture.

As important as lighting, colour is often the defining attribute of a home. Some go

overboard, some stick to neutrals, and if you do stick to neutrals, think about

applying three or four different shades to different walls to project some depth

and to keep the space interesting. Cplour affects size so apply it carefully. Use a

darker colour if you want to bring walls closer and lighter tones to widen a room.

And don't forget to paint the woodwork and especially ceilings - which are often

called the fifth wall. Choosing a different colour for these areas as

opposed to white is often one of the best decisions that you can make. It can

actually really change a room's feeling but not in that really shocking abrasive

way.

Not as easy as people think, pattern can be about texture too, but more of that in

a moment! Think about prints and patterns and use the repetition in design trick.

This is when things such as radiators with vertical finishes can be

duplicated by using stripes and window treatments, cushions and rugs designs.

Don't be afraid of using print with print; it takes guts it can be very

rewarding and unique; not every pattern has to have symmetry or indeed match.

Remember leopard spots and freckles work naturally and they both have non

symmetrical pattern.

If curtains, sofas and cushions are all silk and shiny, for example, the overall

harmony is not as good as multi-textured. When considering texture try and bind

the scheme together to give a uniform look. Similar to a

hotel suite, the bedroom and the sitting room work together seamlessly,

despite being different uses. Texture can be many things. Leather, fur, wool, felt,

silk, cotton, boucle, sheers, wood, porcelain, mirror, marble, metal, concrete, paper or

glass. Make good use of them all and don't stick to the same things in each

of your designs. So those are the Seven Elements of Interior Design. I know it

can be confusing when you're dreaming up schemes but if you are in doubt as to

what to choose perhaps it's a good idea to turn to nature. Go for a walk, look up

at the trees, down at the earth and see what tones are naturally attractive and

then add a punch of colour. So for example saffron cushions can work very well

against an olive sofa. It's reminiscent of vibrant flowers, seen in many woodlands,

for example. These seven elements are the mainstay of any design. Putting all

this into practice takes time, effort, vision and execution. Let me know if you

struggle on any one in particular and I'll dive into that in greater depth for

you. In the meantime - Happy Designing!
