Alright! Day 36 has started, so it's week six...
The first overnight train ride is almost done as we traveled from Ufa to Chelyabinsk.
The sun is shining and it looks a bit winterly, but that's how it was in Ufa already, so we are kind of used to winter conditions.
We slept well, this wasn't our first time on an overnight train in Russia,
so it seems that everyone managed to sleep well.
We're now all cheery and will soon arrive to Chelyabinsk!
Ok. We survived the Chelyabinsk show, and since I got a little confused with the days, I decided to stop mentioning them,
because I really don't have a clue anymore. But I do know that it's Sunday and we're in Novosibirsk.
We only have the two final gigs ahead of us, and so far so good.
The weather is really cold, well below zero, -
It's been snowing for a couple of days and it's definitely winter, although the locals say this is still a warm autumn weather.
During the winter when it gets cold, it gets REALLY cold! So this is just a mild autumn weather for now.
But anyways, everything is ok at the venue and we're soon starting soundcheck, and so far everything looks really good.
We're on the last stretch here so we're pretty excited to get back home soon,
but also great to play the shows first, of course!
Ok, so even this late on the tour, it's still possible to have a little misfortune.
I came to tune my guitar here on the side of the stage, to stay out of the way.
And I placed my foot right here, like this.
And what do you know, it tipped over, and a Coke bottle got knocked over, it bounced over here and -
suddenly all the equipment was soaked in Coke and I had to start a massive clean-up straight away.
Our equipment has survived all our tours mostly without any of the quite typical beer or other liquid related accidents.
Anyway, I got it cleaned up, so everything's all dry and nice.
I had a bottle of water, and I used it with a towel to wipe everything clean.
So, after I'd finished, I knocked over the water bottle,
so what can you do, I started wiping everything dry again...

it was an awesome night, thank you so much!

OK, only a couple of days left of the tour, and we arrived here in Krasnoyarsk a few hours ago.
A pretty arctic weather here, lots of minus degrees and snow, and the scenery is quite exotic.
I'm actually getting ready for some sports right now, something that's quite important to me even when touring.
I like to take care of my health.
I'm heading down to the gym now to take care of today's exercise.
After that, we'll start getting ready for tomorrow's show.
We always try to come up with stuff to do in hotels, and if the hotel has a nice gym, that's a good option.
A bit of exercise also helps me sleep better, so there... exercise can be good for you in many ways.
Ok, it's day 41 and we're in...

Starting to get a little confused with all the dates and locations, but here we are, and we have about an hour until showtime.
I'm sitting here with Vadim, our local promoter.
We've actually worked with Vadim for several years now.
It was Captain's birthday a couple of days ago, but fans are still bringing gifts for him.
Hence these roses... here you go, Captain.
There's a cake too, so we'll probably have some coffee & cake after the show tonight.
Feeling a bit wistful as the tour is about to come to an end, but then again, we'll be back on the road in Finland in a few days.
So we won't be unemployed just yet.
But it's been great so far. Let's see how we'll feel after tonight's show!
Right! 42 days of touring done and...
Six countries, countless flights and kilometers, all done now. We're back at the Helsinki airport.
We'll be at home really soon.
But yeah, our next gig is in two days, so basically we're getting one day off before touring continues again.
It was lots of fun, and next year again!
