Top 10 Voice Actors Who Look Like The Character - Duration: 6:09.
These days, motion capture technology has allowed for video game developers to incorporate
amazing and compelling performances from actors in not only cinematics, but in gameplay itself.
So often, it shouldn't be a surprise when you're playing a game and a familiar face
pops up.
Or if you fall in love with a character and give them a google to find out that the actor
behind the voice looks a whole hell of a lot like the person they're portraying.
So today, we're taking a look at some of those actors who look like their video game
counterparts, with our list of the top 10 video game characters that look like their
voice actors.
10 Shawn Fonteno - Franklin Clinton GTA V Even though it was initially released back
in 2013, Grand Theft Auto V has proven it was longevity, and is still one of the most
popular and most played games today, largely because of its online version.
That being said, the single player mode is arguably one of the best contemporary gameplay
experiences, and one of the reasons why is because of the game's three dynamic playable
protagonists, one of which is Franklin Clinton.
Franklin is played by Shawn Fonteno, who the character is the spitting image of.
The game made use of motion capture technology in order to record his performance, along
with the performances of Ned Luke who played Michael, and our next number-
9 Steven Ogg – Trevor Phillips GTA V Steven Ogg plays the unpredictable, homicidal
and extreme individual, Trevor Phillips.
Who just so happens to be one of the best crafted video game characters to date.
And oh boy, does Steven give us one hell of an enjoyable performance.
The actor himself looks like a more attractive and sane version of Phillips, but don't
let that fool you – the actor has busted out his Trevor impressions from time to time,
and can definitely pull off the psychotic feels that make us love Trevor so much.
Steven has made notable appearance in real life in other fan favourite shows, like West
World and The Walking Dead.
8 Mei - Elise Zhang, Overwatch Overwatch has a pretty active fan base, and
it's easy to see why.
The actors behind the beloved characters are also a big point of interest, and quite a
few members of the cast look quite similar to the individuals they portray.
This includes the actor who plays Mei, Elise Zhang, who also voices the character in the
Mandarin Chinese dub.
The similarities are uncanny when Elise pops on glasses similar to her character's trademark
spectacle.
How adorable.
7 Horizon: Zero Dawn - Sylens, Lance Reddick Horizon Zero Dawn was one of 2017's biggest
hits for the PS4.
Not only was it an unique story that was beautifully crafted – narratively and visually – it
featured an awesome female protagonist that really got people hyped.
But instead of looking at Aloy, we're looking at another character in the game for this
number – Sylens, played by actor Lance Reddick, who the character was voiced and modeled after.
You may recognize Lance from HBO's Oz or The Wire, or from ABC's Lost.
And if not, perhaps you'll recognize his voice – he was Commander Zavala in the 2014
hit Destiny.
6 Symmetra - Anjali Bhimani Another Overwatch number on this list, Anjali
looks quite similar to her kick ass counterpart, Symmetra.
Symmetra has made some news recently with the confirmation that the character is autistic
– something that Overwatch's game director Jeff Kaplan confirmed in a letter to a fan,
stating that "she is one of our most beloved heroes and we think she does a great job of
representing just how awesome someone with autism can be."
Mental health diversity in games has been depicting quite poorly in the past, so having
Symmetra be autistic was a big step forward for representation in video games, especially
from one as popular as Overwatch – who, to be fair, has been killing it when it comes
to representation in general.
5 Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 Vaas is one of the most adored characters
in the Far Cry franchise – even though he's an unhinged deranged antagonist.
Played by Michael Mando, who you might recognized from Orphan Black, Better Call Saul or Spider-Man
Homecoming, the actor not only did motion capture for the character with UbiSoft, but
also appeared in the live action TV miniseries the Far Cry Experience, where Mando reprised
his role as Vaas and gave us a killer performance.
Pun entirely intended.
4 Cast of LA Noire When Rockstar released L.A Noire in 2011,
it was a big deal.
Not only did it impress with its film noir plot and aesthetic, but it used a newly developed
form of motion capture called MotionScan that captured actors performances by recording
them with 32 cameras in order to get the minute details of their expressions from all angles
– a feature that really played into the game when interrogating witnesses and suspects,
and having to decipher whether or not they were lying.
It was the first video game to be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival, and these days,
it's been re-released on current consoles, with a VR subset of the game's cases that
was released at the end of 2017.
So it's no surprise that the whole cast of actors involved in the game look a lot
like their characters, especially Aaron Staton, who plays protagonist Cole Phelps.
3 Kitt Harrington – COD Infinite Warfare Kitt Harrington, who most of you will know
from HBO's hit series Game of Throne, plays Admiral Kotch in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare
– the game's main antagonist.
There's even an easter egg in the game that alludes to Harrington's Game of Throne's
character Jon Snow.
During the mission Operation Black Flag: Trap is Spring, you have the option of killing
the Admiral, and when you do, the trophy you get is called 'You Know Nothing', which
is a reference to the famous line that Ygritte in Game of Thrones says to Snow.
2 Troy Baker Troy Baker is one of the most well-known video
game voice actors – he was Joel in The Last of Us, Booker in BioShock Infinite, the Joker
in Batman Arkham Origins and Assault on Arkham, and Samuel Drake in Uncharted 4, to name a
few.
While Troy may not look like himself in those games, there are a few characters in others
that strike a resemblance to him; Jack Mitchell Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Ocelot in Metal
Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain, Shadow of Mordor's Talion, and Infamous Second Son's Delsin.
1 Jonathan Irons - Kevin Spacey COD Perhaps one of the most noticeable actors
to ever appear in a video game is disgraced sexual predator Kevin Spacey.
Back when he made an appearance as Jonathan Irons in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, he
was still considered one of the best male actors around, and gave quite the performance
in the game, along with his likeness, which, even to the oblivious eye is undeniably him.
There we have it friends!

War Thunder. Map Guide: Poland - Duration: 5:39.
"Ach, Polska!
Sudovna kraina.
Och"... Oh, sorry. Got carried away a little bit.
So… as you might have guessed, today we are speaking about Poland.
Update 1.77 «Advancing Storm» introduced a new, much bigger version of the map for
all those glorious high rank, high BR battles.
You know, with all those high speed vehicles of the sixth era
the fights in the old Poland we all know were getting a bit… cramped.
Well, forget all that!
Let us begin by saying that the familiar part of the map stayed pretty much the same.
There are only a few changes — like these rocks, protecting you from pesky snipers,
And a tiny village that breaks the line of sight between zone A and one of the spawn points.
What did change though, are the positions of capture zones.
For instance, zones B and C switched places;
they were also moved a bit.
Moreover, zone C is considerably bigger now:
in order to cap the zone you'll have to control almost the whole town.
And A was moved to the north, closer to the house of a miller and away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
Let's discuss what we can do here.
As you now know, there are three cap zones on the map.
A and B are what you'd call Forward Operating Bases for both teams.
Between these two there is a "neutral" zone C.
It will take some real teamwork and usually at least a few fast vehicles to capture this area.
Let's start with strategic zone A.
It is located away from the town and allows you to control the exit routes from zone C.
Keep in mind that there is hardly any cover around it, which means that it's no easy task to attack it.
Doesn't mean that it can't be done, though!
You can launch an attack under the cover of smoke, or...
try to sneak into it from the top of zone C using your fastest-moving vehicles.
Risky? Certainly.
But it works… Sometimes!
Now let's take a look at B. What shall we say?
This position is very familiar to anyone who played in the old Poland
so we won't say much.
Just be wary of this area: you might, and in all likelihood will, be shot at from there.
Time for the most interesting part, the central capture zone, C.
As we said, now you have to control almost the whole town.
That's a feat only a well-coordinated (or very lucky) team can pull off.
The best piece of advice is fairly simple: always be vigilant.
Watch all turns and corners.
A cautious and patient player can get a lot of frags in this area.
Despite the sheer size of this zone,
there are a few places that can make it much easier for you and your team to hold it.
The first is this road.
It goes through the whole town.
The enemy trying to get to your half of the town will be very vulnerable here.
Just don't forget to watch your flanks!
Furthermore, it will do you heaps of good to occupy this courtyard, at the edge of the town.
Two well-armoured tanks, standing back to back, can hold it for a very long time
all by themselves.
If your opponents are already in the town and you're coming from the lake
don't be above hiding in this courtyard.
Look for a statue with a gun nearby — and you'll find it.
It's a good position that allows you to get a foothold in the town while also covering a bit of your back.
Just don't forget to bring some buddies along
there are four avenues of approach, here, after all.
Once again: always watch the side streets.
Of course, in an urban environment it is virtually impossible to control all avenues of approach.
But a vigilant tanker has much better survival chances.
What tactics and strategies do you use?

Wooden Case Mechanical Keyboard Build - Duration: 8:34.
Today we have a mechanical keyboard build that's a bit different to the other ones
that I've done so far.
However, we're back with the familiar 60% form factor build.
Thanks to Banggood.com for providing most of these parts for the build, and I'll put
links in the description.
Alright so pretty much all the parts are from Banggood, besides the keyswitches, because
all they really have are Gateron Blacks which I've already used, so yeh.
This is gonna be another 60% build, so I don't really want to spend too much time on the
building process, but do more of a review of mainly the Kailh Box Brown keyswitches,
the wooden case, and keycaps.
As always we start with the PCB.
This is the good old Satan GH60 that you can find everywhere.
And this supports a couple of different layouts.
Since I use the ANSI layout, that's what I'm gonna build.
But I know there's a heap of Europeans out there that use the ISO layout, so yes, this
is ISO compatible.
We already have the diodes and resistors soldered in, so all we need to put in are the keyswitches
and LEDs if you want some lighting.
First step as always is to put in the stabilisers.
These are the cheap Chinese stabs that are always pretty bad and rattly.
Always try to get genuine stabilisers, or at least have some lube at hand, such as Super
Lube or dielectric grease.
We have a black aluminium mounting plate.
And as we can see, it allows for a few different positions of various keys to accommodate some
different layouts.
As usual, building a keyboard requires soldering, unless you have a hotswappable PCB or holtites
or something.
So you'll need a soldering iron, and I'll link a great video specifically on soldering
mechanical keyboards by my friend JUJU.
I actually did this build like a few months ago, so I got these Kailh Box Brown keyswitches
when they were relatively new and unknown.
But now there's a heap of Box switch variants and are quite a refreshing wave of keyswitches
in the market, especially with their clickies.
And these are MX style keyswitches, with the classic cross stem, so all keycaps will fit.
All Box switches have a said box looking protrusion around the cross stem, and are closed off
at the top.
So there's no holes for through hole LEDs, so you will either need SMD LEDs, in which
this PCB and many others don't support.
Or you put in the LEDs first, as I have done in the past.
And this is part of making them IP56 waterproof and dustproof keyswitches.
Opening it up, and again it's different.
First of all, the spring is slimmer.
The bump on the slider that creates that tactile bump pushes onto this little bit here.
And here's the other box, which gives it it's IP56 rating, and inside we have the
contacts.
Now to the case.
This comes in 2 versions on Banggood's website, and this is the yellow rosewood colour.
And the other one is walnut which is a bit more darker, while the one I have is quite
a bit more bright and warm.
Being wood, every case will look slightly different, with different grain structure
and such, as well as tones of colour.
But this one looks quite nice to me.
It's quite a simple rectangular design, with 8mm side bezels, and 10mm top and bottom
bezels.
This is CNC routed, and the finish for the most part is very good and very smooth.
Although on mine, one corner has been pushed in, so it looks like it was dropped or something.
And on the left hand inside edge which is the end grain, it's pretty rough which isn't
great, but it can't be seen in the end.
Being a nice solid piece of wood, there is no flex, and it comes in at 340g, which goes
in between plastic and aluminium cases.
The USB cutout is quite large, and I believe it should be able to accomodate for a USB
C port, although I don't have a PCB on me to test.
And we also have a small cutout at the bottom, that lines up with our reset button.
And there's some nice brass standoffs which are solidly supported by the surrounding wood.
And to finish it off, the keycaps.
These actually come pretty nicely packaged in a box, labelled as OG Keys I think.
And these are an imitation of the famous Carbon keyset, although there's quite a few differences.
First of all quality.
This isn't a GMK set or anything, so we have PBT plastic, which is good, however the
legends are lasered, rather than dye sublimated.
And consequently, we have a quite light grey for the alphas, and we do not get the orange
text on the modifiers, and have white instead.
They're about 1.5mm thick, so that's actually decently thick.
Since it's a 119 keycap set, you would think that it may perhaps allow for some compatibility
for different layouts, such as a 1.75u right shift, or some different R1 keys.
But unfortunately that's not the case, as basically all the extras are novelty keys,
although they're quite funny ones as well.
We have like the main keyboard forums, some games, and even the Pimp My Keyboard logo.
But all together, I still think the keyset looks pretty good, as the keycap colours are
still approximately the same, and I feel that it matches up nicely with the yellow rosewood
case, creating a very warm feeling aesthetic.
The shape of the keyboard is very simple, but the colours of the case and keycaps really
do make it standout.
The wooden case has a slight inclination to it, but other than that, it's just a rounded
rectangular prism.
And the case has held up fine for the few months I've had it, although I haven't
really moved it around so much.
But it is a hardwood, and pressing my fingernail into it does nothing.
So I'm quite pleased with the quality and build of the case.
Again this is a 60% keyboard, so we're missing a lot of primary keys, but they are on the
secondary layer, which is accessed via the function key.
And you can flash a different layout on it if you want.
But 60% boards aren't for everyone, such as myself, and it does take some time getting
used to.
Coincidently, the Kailh Box Brown keyswitches do match the theme of the keyboard.
And these are a weird keyswitch.
As said, these are tactile, meaning they have a bump but no click, and have an operating
force of 50g.
However the bump is right near the top, so right off the bat, it feels different to say
MX Brown's and other tactiles.
It has a more pronounced bump compared to MX Brown's, especially when actually typing,
you feel that tactile feedback a touch more.
Although there are a heap of new Kailh Box variations, and I think these haven't been
the most popular, and I can see why.
Again, wood is kinda in between plastic or acrylic, and aluminium, in how it sounds and
feels.
Although the plate is still aluminium.
But I feel that it's slighting softer and fuller than some 60% aluminium cases, but
not as much as acrylic.
And I guess it's a nice piece to have just for the variety in material in a collection.
Overall it was a pretty fun build.
Nothing really out there, but it was great to work with the surprisingly nice wooden
case.
The keycaps aren't the best, but they still look the part.
And the keyswitches are an interesting one to keep around, purely because they're different
to the other tactiles I have, but I'm not the biggest fan.
Thanks again to Banggood.com for providing most of the parts for this build, and for
their continued support.
I'll put the links in the description if you want to check them out.

3 Things a Great Coach should not do - Duration: 3:46.
Hi!
I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video.
Today I want to talk to you about three things a great coach should NOT do.
I know it sounds a little bit negative and I'm always talking about the positive stuff,
but today, I really want to share with you the three things that, as a great coach, we
should NOT do.
If you are a great coach you need to make sure you are not doing these three things.
The first thing, when you're a coach, don't do it for them.
Don't do the things that they need to get in place.
They might say, "I need some help to build a website or a landing page", "I need
some help with my social media".
Don't go and do it for them.
You are a coach.
What you do is you share with them, teach them, advise them, and get them on the right
track.
There are all sorts of things you do as a coach but the one thing you don't do is
do it for them.
Give them the learnings of being resourceful.
They need to be resourceful, they need to find these people to help them at the price
that they can afford and they need to be resourceful in their business.
Secondly, don't be sympathetic.
I know that might sound a bit harsh but what you need to be is empathetic.
If you're feeling sorry for them and feeling sympathy for them, you are not going to be
a great coach for them.
Yes, empathise around the situation they are in, understand them fully, understand their
pain, their challenges, understand what they've been through but you cannot be sympathetic
with them because as a coach, once you get into being sympathetic, then you won't bring
the best of yourself to that coaching session or to that client.
And that brings me to my third point, do not be a friend, be a coach.
Because what happens is, we do like the people we work with.
I really like my coaching clients.
I love spending time with them and we sometimes do become friends after our coaching and most
of the time, we continue as friends.
But at the time of coaching, you have to remain the coach because you need to be able to tell
it like it is.
A friend is someone you go to where they sit there and pat you on the back and tell you
that everything is going to be okay.
Well, sometimes that's not great from a coach.
Sometimes a coach might say to them, "if you don't make a change, things are not
okay."
And you need to be able to have those difficult conversations with them.
So, please, don't be a friend, be a coach.
So there are my three points.
Three things you don't do if you are going to be a great coach is don't do the work
for your client, don't be sympathetic but in fact be empathetic, and don't be a friend,
be their coach.
I hope this has helped you today.
If you think this video would be of value to your friends, families, and colleagues,
please share the video out.
I want to help as many people as I can and I need your help to do that.
Thank you very much again.
I'm Sharon Jurd and we'll talk soon.
