I wonder what China will buy with its new military budget.

The US sends an Aircraft Carrier to Vietnam.

And finally, the sky isn't falling.

That's just China's out of control space station.

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

First, an update from last week.

The Chinese military got the big pay raise

they were asking for.

175 billion dollars.

That's a jump from last year.

But it still can't compare to the United States.

The Pentagon is asking for one of

the biggest budget boosts in US history.

"We will have a military like we've never had before.

We're going to have an incredible military."

I assume that means we're finally getting Jaegers.

The increase in China's military spending

comes along with China keeping a projected GDP growth

of six and half percent this year.

At least, that's what Chinese premier Li Keqiang announced.

Think they'll succeed?

Well, considering Li Keqiang also once said,

"China's GDP figures are 'man-made'

and therefore unreliable,"

...I'd say yes,

they have a pretty good chance of hitting that six and half percent target.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson

has criticized Chinese investment in Africa.

"Chinese investment does have

the potential to address Africa's infrastructure gap

but its approach has led to mounting debt

and few, if any, jobs in most countries.

When coupled with the political and fiscal pressure,

this endangers Africa's natural resources

and its long-term economic,

political stability."

Recently, the Chinese Communist Party

has been using what's called the One Belt, One Road Initiative

to offer big loans to developing nations

around the world.

But the Party has been offering

infrastructure loans to African countries for years.

It's been called a new form of colonialism.

In particular, it's been a great way

for the Chinese regime to drain African countries of their natural resources.

But it still has been unable to make inroads

into the wealthiest African nation:

Wakanda.

The Communist Party would love to get their hands

on some of that sweet, sweet vibranium.

A US aircraft carrier visited Vietnam,

and, unlike last time,

it didn't kill anyone.

This is the first carrier visit to Vietnam

since the fall of Saigon in 1975.

It's a four day port of call.

Crew will visit a hospital and center

for victims of some rather nasty weapons

used by the US during the Vietnam War.

Like Agent Orange.

That sounds like fun.

The reason the US and Vietnam are burying the hatchet,

or the Agent Orange as it were,

is because Vietnam is at least

less upset at the US than at China.

The Chinese regime has been

aggressively expanding in the South China Sea,

in waters claimed by Vietnam.

And considering the violent history

between China and Vietnam over the last, say, thousand years,

Vietnam is having flashbacks.

Of course Chinese state-run media

says they totally don't care.

Totally.

And it's not just Vietnam.

The Chinese regime has angered

a lot of its neighbors because of

territorial conflicts in the South China Sea.

But at least the Chinese Communist Party

cares deeply about the region's environment.

That's why they're building a marine park.

My favorite state-run media

the Global Times wrote,

"Protection of unique and rich resources

in the South China Sea has always

been given great importance,

especially when some of the resources,

such as coral reefs,

are very fragile."

And the Chinese regime really does

care about protecting the coral reefs.

Especially now that the coral reefs

in the region are almost complete gone.

Because they were destroyed by the Chinese regime.

And the most powerful man, Xi Jinping,

may have another title added to his growing list—

one that already includes General Secretary of the Communist Party,

President of the nation,

and Commander-in-Chief of the military.

His newest title:

Living Bodhisattva.

That's a sort of buddha-on-earth,

who carries out acts of compassion to help mankind.

Ok, this may not be his official Communist Party title—

remember, they're atheist.

But the Party secretary

of the largely Tibetan province of Qinghai,

Wang Guosheng, said that Tibetans who live there

have been saying they view Xi Jinping

as a deity.

I mean, it makes sense.

Xi Jinping is incredibly powerful.

He just granted himself the role of president-for-life.

People have photos of him in their homes and even churches

And he can use supernatural powers to generate GDP growth.

Ok, so in Chinese,

it's kind of like calling someone "a living saint"

so Party Secretary Wang

might not have been that serious.

But it was still some impressive brown-nosing.

Especially since it's also a slight dig

at the Dalai Lama.

Traditionally the Dalai Lama

is considered the living reincarnation

of a specific bodhisattva.

And Party Secretary Wang said that

the Tibetans see only Xi Jinping

as a living bodhisattva.

Ooo, burn.

And just a friendly reminder.

China's out of control space station,

called Tiangong-1, is expected to crash land

somewhere on Earth in the next few weeks.

Usually when a satellite falls out of orbit,

it mostly burns up in the atmosphere.

But according to the US funded Aerospace Corporation,

"There is a chance that

a small amount of Tiangong-1 debris

may survive reentry and impact the ground."

Where will it fall?

Aerospace uses this map to show

where it's most likely to land.

The highest probability is in the yellow areas.

Hey, wait a minute,

I'm in one of the yellow areas.

What's that, Shelley?

The odds of it hitting anyone

are a million times smaller

than winning the lottery?

Oh good.

there may be a highly toxic and corrosive fuel on board,

LEGO Jurassic World Blue's Helicopter Pursuit review! 75928 - Duration: 11:22.

hey everyone this is the Lego Jurassic world fallen kingdom Blues helicopter

pursuit set yes another helicopter set from Lego but this is a good one they

actually did helicopter that this time avoids most of the problems and most of

the annoying features or lacks of features and restrictions that have

found with a lot of the helicopters they've made in the past first of all at

this very moment this helicopter is set up with three persons on board I've got

a pilot in the front I've got a passenger here who I'm able to actually

put in place without too much difficulty has a real seat facing out towards the

side and then it has a second passenger over here so three figures in total are

comfortably placed in this and yet it still has a bunch of play features and

action features and such it's sad that that is something to

celebrate but it really is something to celebrate in so many helicopters even of

this size from Lego they've made it so that if you want to put a second finger

on there somebody other than just the pilot they would have to sit out here

you know just completely completely outside of the fuselage or something or

if they had a space for them to sit in board you practically have to take the

roof off to get them to fit in there and if they had a hat on then it wasn't

going to work they had to have just a hairpiece so for this to hold two

passengers in addition to the pilot is very good and it just makes me go ah

finally thank you beyond that it's also shaped

up pretty nicely you know I like some of the shaping

along the the roofline has some somewhat unique lines to it even though this

canopy piece has been used a number of times up to this point but it looks

pretty good it looks looks strong it looks beefy and it looks built up and

there really is building involved in this you know it doesn't rely heavily

upon extra large pieces you have the canopy piece you have this under

fuselage piece that fits with that canopy but otherwise everything is

really properly built up with plates and bricks and

and it has the simplest but nicest basic rotor action feature and you don't even

have to see it yeah I mean it's just a little gear that sticks out underneath

it's so simple and it works so well because you can operate it with the same

hand that you're using to hold this which leaves you with another hand to

operate the six stud shooter over here which is on a ball-joint so you can

rotate that around in different kinds of ways you can make an angle all the way

down those are supposed to represent tranquilizer shots but uses the smaller

size ball joint piece so it's not too large doesn't really get in the way

doesn't book things up too much and if you don't like seeing this you know if

it just bugs you to see that action feature there well just pop it off done

not bad not a bad look so good compromise there play features for folks

who want it take it off if you don't want it you got the searchlights

floodlights over here which are also on a ball joint you take those off very

easily and actually recommend taking these off when you get down to the

ground you can use them you know just set them up like that use them on the

ground alternate purposes for them also it holds onto some cargo so you've got

the whole cargo hook down here and that's intended to work with well

anything that a hook can fit into but mostly with this this trap and transport

crate that they've included here which actually looks pretty good this is very

easy just didn't you know again with the little little gear here you just get

your get your rotor spinning up fly right in keep that going hook it and

then take off and the whole time you're keeping the rotor spinning which is

which is great can't ask for more than that as far as the kind of immersiveness

of it this trap is is good it's it's actually really good not too many pieces

used here but it's solid enough it opens and closes a little bit foliage there

and has the little spot for food holds on to a Velociraptor probably larger

ones perfectly well you can also just remove the bar kind of roll bar

to make it look a little bit more open so perhaps you know you want to set it

up this way so that when you trap blue finally or catch you know rescue maybe

blue then you can just pull up these sides and then the helicopter can come

in with all of this together as the mcgantry

to pull them out but just continuing on with the helicopter itself there's one

other thing here at the back they also have this as a little piece of cargo

it's just attached with a single small clip right now and that can hold onto

some additional stuff so you've got a clip on this side hold on to a tranq gun

clip on the other side hold on to another tranq gun you see that guy has

one that's a stud shooter type so whether you prefer to see the more

realistic style or you want to get the action feature and the the playability

of the stud shooter they give you the choice here thank you whoever designed

this you get it you totally get it just making everybody happy in my

opinion this has a spot for an egg in there or you can put something else

that's very small so this does everything you can want it to do at

least as far as I'm concerned even in here when you open this up there's a

little bit of extra space at the back you might be able to use that for

something but it has a printed console piece it's small but I appreciate the

thought helps with the immersiveness and kind of getting kids imagination in

there you know just empathize with the pilot think about checking the controls

and you know the instruments and he has a control stick as well I didn't line

that up properly right now but you can line it up to actually go into his hand

so again just everything that the helicopter needs and more is here and it

works well thank you for letting me actually put figures in to the places

where you want to put figures to good stuff the set also includes this quad

ATV with trailer now when I originally saw pictures of this I didn't look at

the pictures well enough I thought it was a six wheeler that was gonna be a

cool thing I liked the idea of that but it's not it's a quad and it has a

trailer and it's on a a low friction ball joint so this can turn from side to

side not too far but works pretty well and it even

a spare wheel and tire on it that's nice a nice inclusion they actually give you

the total of seven wheels and tires they don't have any extras but yeah it's nice

and I like just the little box shaping back here and the kind of boxy fenders

that they use the design for the quad is fine I really like that relatively

recent Bush bara piece you know with a bumper piece that they created and

figure goes on there just fine I think this is a little bit weak right here and

I'm not sure what exactly they were going for there but there's just

something that I'm not as familiar with but overall it looks good and it works

well it's a little different and it has just one sticker took off the handlebar

with that but I just want to show you the sticker real quick it goes on the

top well has a little bit of a copper in it as well as some silver here's a

better look at blue and I guess this is looking like it's supposed to be

actually that blue v1 and only blue from the first movie has just gotten older

and Lego has taken the opportunity to completely redo the color scheme for it

or yeah pretty pretty thoroughly so I guess it's you know it's overall look

may have changed a little bit in the movie with its age but I think that Lego

went farther than that to try to make it seem a little bit more believable a

little less blue overall but you know these velociraptors are oversized got

the Utahraptor style claw this you know it's just following that the lead of the

movie you can kind of get these into a slight movement pose unlike some of the

larger dinosaurs before it starts to to topple over but if you put this on a

studded base then you can put it in any kind of pose that you want even like a

kicking goes or something but it's able to angle down get down to the ground

the arms are able to move independently and each one is able to hold on to

something bar size so we can climb on some things or grab on to some things

that are bar sized and the mouth opens up like so I had it kind of in between

there proper location for it but you can kind

of get it stuck in between like that which is a good look and you can closes

it up close it up all the way and the head turns from side to side you can

also write on the back of this or if you want to give them a backpack or

something or have him carry along some cargo then go right ahead the human

minifigures are left to right of course Owen Grady Ken Wheatley in the center

and on the right is just a generic unnamed pilot and you can bring his

goggles down if you want or leave them up I think all three of these figures

look good again you know we do get both a more realistic tranq gun and this more

playable tranq gun so you can choose which to use there looks like Owen gets

a crossbow which I really want to refer to as a bow caster because of how it's

been used in another theme and switching these around to the backs the prints and

just one alternate face one for Owen only everybody else gets just a single

face and you're just a clearer look at those original faces this set is good on

all counts in my opinion if you are absolutely tired of LEGO helicopters you

never want to see you like another lego helicopter again because they've made so

many of them that's cool just skip it but otherwise I think you will enjoy

this set if you like what you see if you are someone who actually wants to play

with the set I think you will get a ton of value from this and speaking of value

the price to part ratio is fantastic for something that includes a large canopy

piece and a small to medium sized animal in in this case to be at that $0.10 mark

is completely unexpected so I'm very happy about that I think they could have

done a little bit better job of spreading out the value across this

theme in instead of giving us something that's that's really good like this and

then some others that are not so good but c'est la vie this does compromise in

all the right ways with good play value and pretty good looks good

builds good action features just a lot of good stuff so I'm happy with it

LEGO Star Wars Darth Maul large action figure review! 75537 - Duration: 9:51.

hello everyone this is the lego starwars buildable Darth Maul large action figure

at last and at first glance at least for a non armored humanoid non helmeted

figure this one looks really good the proportions are pretty good

maybe the ankles aren't so good maybe the feet are a little bit generic but

overall this looks like it's trying to look real I'd say as good as any of the

best of the figures that they've done to date with this style with this building

system so it's off to a good start one of the most important things is

certainly the shaping of the head and I feel like this one is closer to a

realistic replica of the actor of Rey Park than other figure heads of this

style in this series that Lego has done in the past it's still not 100% you know

intended to be exactly the shape they still have some stylization that they do

with some harder chines around the cheek and cheek bone you can actually see some

lines that follow along the side of the temples here and then it kind of cuts in

comes out fairly sharply and a lot of the the actual mould lines in there are

molded in lines are sharper than realistic but I feel like the overall

shape is just so much closer to real humanoid than anything they've done up

to this point also that head is I believe triple molded so three different

colors of plastic rather than just relying on prints so you get the red

plastic you get the black plastic and you also get the tan plastic so 100%

saturation for those for those colors to the exact standard values that we expect

you don't have to worry about you know tan being painted on top of black and

then ending up looking a little bit muted or red being put on top of black

or black being put on top of of red or anything it just gives you the the full

exact colour that you want to see for all of those major areas

they do have print on there as well they do have paint applications but just a

lot of it is done with with actual plastic which is fantastic that you

can't ask for anything better than that I also notice the neck he has a collar

here this is a new piece that they've slotted in here it's kind of just sat in

place and it's specifically designed and molded to fit over the top of the upper

body you know what would be armor piece or torso piece and the rear one so it

just completely goes over those two it's a very specialized piece that is only

designed to work right there in that specific application and it works great

it looks so good in my opinion it really helps to fill in that space and to make

it not look like this figure has a detached head that's kind of floating in

the air and you do still get some range of motion you can rock the head side to

side of course it can turn it around and it's not able to turn quite as far as

you might like it at least it's not able to turn quite as far as as they normally

do normally you can basically just spin into our head all the way around but

with no gap or almost no gap under there I wouldn't expect it to have the the

unrealistic range that they normally do this one is a little bit limited in

going down you know and actually angling the head down that's one a little bit of

disappointment for me it's able to angle back just fine but you know you're able

to get a fair range in there especially turning from from side to side so I

think a fair compromise when I was putting this together the arms baffled

me because they are built with a bunch of Technic pieces and joints that I did

not expect rather than doing a ball joint for the elbow they have just the

ability to rotate the forearm back and forth like from side to side which is

just so strange and unexpected you can't bring the elbow up and down I mean

there's a little bit of looseness in there right now but they don't allow

extension and flexing you know at the elbow joint itself it's all

able to go side-to-side and that didn't make sense until I got it completely

assembled the entire figure all the way together and I tried out the action

feature it's the most live they've ever made one of these large action figure

figures look and it's emotion that they've never done before and it's

really good in my opinion you don't even need to get it lined up just perfectly

you can have these have the hands offset slightly different from side to side you

can also have the relative placement of the shoulders which do have ball joints

on them set up a little bit differently and with

the free motion that they have in the elbow joints it's still able to smoothly

swing side to side using both blades equally that's just really good let me

see if I can get that to actually angle a little bit forward so and get it to

actually break the system to to not work but no look at that he's able to get

more of a forward swing it's still an upward swing with that left blade but it

still works compared to I mean you can see out kind of no matter what will come

come fairly close to to a level point along the the swing but I just want to

see if I could do something particularly weird with it maybe a whore

defensive nope still able to work this is really really good so it has the

action feature for kids to play with but it also has good looks and an

interesting build does rely on some specialized pieces with these parts here

I mean you can use these for other things as well but you know the new

collar piece is specialized but most of the center core build of this is your

traditional buy now traditional CCDs stuff you know they've added some new

parts to the system over time this is the weakest part right here

I still believe just down at the ankles but you know all of your

your Lake articulation is as normal so nothing unexpected there and these all

have enough friction to hold most poses and see if I can get the kick there

there we go that's something like that you know it's able to hold some strange

poses just fine and it's pretty good it's pretty good

the only thing that's that's a little bit weird about this to me is how far

the action feature a knob on the back sticks out see how far it comes out but

at least they didn't do it with a bright red color or bright yellow colored parts

so it's it's trying to fit in it's trying to not look bad it's just a nice

compromise between a bunch of things it's still a toy but it's more

displayable and also at the same time I think more fun for older kids like

myself to actually enjoy it and to appreciate the motion features or if you

just want to pose it then go ahead and pose it however you want they're not

really limiting what you can do you're only limited by how you can line up the

hands as far as where you can actually place those blades and of course you can

separate it at the center you see that there's a little bit of looseness here

in the center of the hilts that's just because they have the gray frictionless

or low friction pins to allow it to flex when it's using the action feature I

really can't complain sorry I don't have a young obi-wan figure assembled to show

you for scale but this should give you more of a general idea of how it

compares to Vader who is basically a one-off he really towers over most of

the figures and is larger than all of them except for Grievous who is you know

just much whiter and has more bulk overall but Boba Fett is closer to a

normal size I really like Darth Maul and I feel like they needed to do a Darth

Maul figure well there was a very high risk of them messing that up

would have been a real shame to me personally but I feel like instead they

actually did better than I ever thought they could would or could with that that

mechanism that they've set up there that is just really good and then the way the

head is shaped and also the little insert piece to help with the neck with

realism it's really really good the weak point is down here at this at

this time but I wouldn't be surprised to see them come up with a new piece in the

next year or so to help with that as well overall I'm very satisfied with

this very pleased and just pleasantly surprised all the way across that's it

S. Korean lawmakers agree on need to maintain pressure on N. Korea before sincere... - Duration: 3:57.

While speculation runs rampant on what prompted North Korea to engage in dialogue... for now

Seoul needs to channel all its focus on how to approach the summit that will be held on

this day next week.... as well as ways to keep the momentum towards peace going after

the talks.

Our Kim Min-ji met with the lawmakers who represent their parties on parliament's foreign

affairs and unification committee for their take on the rapid developments.

South Korea's rival parties have, in general, welcomed the first inter-Korean talks in 11

years.

Lawmaker Kim Kyung-hyup of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea has praised the Moon Jae-in

administration's efforts to foster momentum for peace on the Peninsula... by maintaining

pressure on North Korea... while at the same time.. leaving the door open for dialogue.

He also applauded the government for being able to set the tempo with the U.S. to prevent

a military confrontation... and for delaying the allies' joint military drills.

Now what's important... is how regional players involved... restore trust that's been lost.

"The increased sanctions against North Korea for its provocations over the past ten years

or so have stoked intense mistrust.

Therefore, each side could demand that the other give way first.

For any progress toward denuclearization, time is important and it cannot be rushed.

We need to be able to control the situation at our pace,... and support talks between

the U.S. and the North.

If any agreement is reached,... we need a system that can oversee whether its being

abided by."

The conservatives, meanwhile, have been taking a more hardline approach... and have been

pretty pessimistic about the recent developments.

Lawmaker Yoon Young-seok of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party stressed that the North

could be cheating the international community again -- and said we can't let down our guard.

Until progress is made toward complete denuclearization -- he says no carrots -- because the North

could be hiding its true intentions.

"It is like a temporary calm before a storm.

We must achieve complete, irreversible denuclearization of North Korea.

He added that the international community is not going to tolerate any more tricks on

Pyongyang's part,... and that North Korea knows it -- pointing to its statement that

there would be no need to have nuclear weapons if the U.S. ends its hostilities.

With a string of important summits coming up,... he stressed Seoul's role becomes extra

important from here on.

"Now it shouldn't be about who is in the driver's seat.

What's important is solving the denuclearization issue.

Whether in the driver's seat or the passenger seat,... the important thing is that they

keep the car moving along the path of denuclearization.

The South Korean government can't worry about being the one behind the wheel.

It needs to foster a peaceful atmosphere... and build a bridge for the other regional

players involved to play their roles."

The general consensus for now is that... we shouldn't be overly optimistic... and that

it's important to maintain a balanced yet strong posture.

That meaning Seoul should reassure the North of its security in return for denuclearization...

but make clear that any tricks will be met with stronger sanctions and pressure from

the international community.
