Hello boaters!

My name's Lenny Rudow, and I'm here today for BoatUS Magazine.

And we're going to talk about five maintenance tips.

But, these are maintenance tips for your outboard motor that people commonly forget about.

Tip number one: Don't forget about your fuel-water separator.

Now you've heard of this, you know it's on your boat, and you know it should have been

changed at 50 hours.

You probably also know that you haven't changed it in a year or two.

A lot of people forget about these fuel filters.

Don't forget about yours.

Poof!

For tip number two, we're going to bring in a pro, Sean Stahl.

Sean, you're a full-time outboard tech.

Tell me, what else do people forget about?

Um, always forget about popping this cover off right here to check the timing belt.

On this specific engine, the 175 Yamaha, there's just two bolts.

There's one here and there's one here.

They pull off, and then the cover just pops off like so.

So what are we looking for under here?

You're just looking to see if the timing belt's frayed.

A big indicator is you can take your finger around here and if it's black, you've got

pieces of your timing belt coming off.

So it's time to replace it.

Another thing they forget about, Lenny, is the zincs on the outside of the engines right

here.

They're a big thing people miss.

They don't realize that these are even zincs.

Also down here, you have your bracket zinc.

A lot of people ... Yamaha says about two-thirds ... and they forget to even look at those.

I know I'm guilty of that.

I look at it when I finally realize it and the thing is nine-tenths gone.

Yeah, exactly.

So that's a big one to always keep an eye on.

So, Sean, tip number four is another anode?

Correct.

It's your trim tab.

A lot of people will notice that their boat isn't tracking very well and it's getting

off track.

It's usually your trim tab anode.

It's time to replace your trim tab anode.

So, for our fifth maintenance tip, we're going to take the prop off.

A lot of people don't take the prop off, and the reason why I want to take it off is you

want to get all the fishing line out of there.

If you don't get the fishing line out, you have the likelihood of destroying the prop

shaft seals, which gets water in your lower unit.

Alright, so the first thing we're going to do is I'm going to take the cotter pin out.

Here's the cotter pin.

And then once I've got the cotter pin out, I'm going to take the prop nut off.

And remember, folks, once this cotter pin's off, you want to throw it away.

Don't reuse it cause it's kind of damaged after it's been bent around.

So I've got the prop nut off, and I can take the prop off.

And this is where we're worried about the line being.

Right back here, right?

Right behind the thrust washer right here.

This is your thrust washer.

Gotcha.

And also check to make sure there's no line that went past the thrust washer, cause that's

where your prop shaft seal's at.

So, no line.

We've regreased the prop shaft, and then put it all back together.

Well, folks, we hope you've enjoyed this video and we hope these five maintenance tips will

help you have a better day of boating.

A Quiet Place ENDING & CREATURES Explained - Duration: 6:43.

A Quiet Place is a chilling but riveting film that delivers a fresh twist on the horror

genre.

Yippee ki-yay movie lovers, it's Jan here and today I'm breaking down the ending to

A Quiet Place, plus explaining some details you probably didn't know about the creatures

in the movie.

If this is your first time here, I do regular movie breakdowns, so if you enjoy this video

be sure to subscribe for more.

Spoiler warning, I'll be discussing the whole movie, so take care if you've not seen it

yet.

A Quiet Place is set in a near future in which an alien invasion has decimated swathes of

the human population around the world.

The creatures have super-sensitive hearing and so survivors like the Abbotts live as

quietly as possible.

This is why John Krasinski's character Lee puts down sand trails to muffle sounds while

walking and everyday life has been completely adapted to dampen any sound.

The monsters are blind, so visual signals are an important way for the human characters

to communicate.

And because the family have a deaf daughter, they have been able to use the American Sign

Language they learned with her to talk silently with each other.

Ok, let's take a look at the alien creatures and why they attack anything making a sound.

Design-wise the aliens are rather interesting – they're different from but do bring to

mind other creatures like the Demogorgon in Stranger Things, the xenomorph in the Alien

movies, the monster in Cloverfield, and the crazy sharp teeth you see with Venom.

The film's production designer Jeffrey Beecroft has said that he took inspiration for the

alien's form from a Nautilus shell.

The nautilus is a type of sea creature that has very poor eyesight although A Quiet Place

dials that up, making the aliens completely blind.

By the way, there are various newspaper clippings which describe the aliens as either "Death

Angels" or "Angels of Death" which is interesting because, in the Jewish tradition, the archangel

Samael is known as the angel of death and is sometimes referred to as the "blind god"

as well.

And the aliens really do seem to be the bringers of death, but Lee has been researching them

extensively and on his white board we can see the main things he knows about them.

One thing he's still trying to figure out is the answer to the question "Why don't they"

– I think that says – "eat their kill?"

Although the movie doesn't seem to touch on this in an obvious manner, production designer

Jeffrey Beecroft has explained that "when loud sound vibrates inside [the aliens' body],

it's intensely painful and they will destroy anything that makes noise."

And we do see them pulsating and thrashing around when they're faced with a big sound.

Which means the real reason why the creatures attack anything making a loud noise isn't

for sport or for food – instead, it seems like they're trying to eliminate [loud] sounds

in the environment around them.

And, of course, as the family eventually discovers, although the aliens' hypersensitivity to sound

makes them deadly to life on earth, it's actually their weakness as well.

And that makes Lee's efforts to develop a working hearing aid for his daughter Regan,

played by Millicent Simmonds, the key to the story.

The new hearing aid he gives her doesn't work properly and creates a high-pitched sound

that is not only uncomfortable to her, but is also unbearable to the creatures when they're

nearby.

It seems likely that because the aliens are blind, they rely on a sort of echolocation,

or bio sonar to emit soundwaves that they can track to navigate and hunt.

These soundwaves create audio feedback when they hit the amplifiers in Regan's hearing

aid and, because of the creatures' audio hypersensitivity, the amplified feedback sound ends up being

extremely painful for the aliens.

Now, when you watched the movie you may have been hoping that Regan knew this when she

and her brother were hiding in the car as it could have saved their father, but at that

moment she didn't understand that the hearing aid's audio feedback was affecting the aliens.

When it happened the first earlier, the alien was behind her in the corn field and although

we could hear the creature rustling, because Regan is deaf, she had no idea it was behind

her – all she could feel was the uncomfortable pitch from the feedback loop right by her

head.

And when Regan and her brother were in the silo, although she also felt the feedback

she didn't realise that was the reason the creature ran off.

It's not until Regan is in the basement with her mother and they are confronted with an

alien that suddenly goes into an uncontrollable spasm that Regan understands her hearing aid

has uncovered the monster's weakness.

But the feedback doesn't kill the creature and it comes back at them.

However, its head is exposed as it opens up so Evelyn kills it with a shotgun blast to

the face.

This leads us to the very final moment of the movie where Evelyn and Regan realise what

they have to do.

As the remaining aliens come running to the farmhouse attracted by the noise of the gun,

Regan and Evelyn have the hearing aid, speaker and shotgun at the ready.

According to Lee's white board there should be two creatures left in the area, so it should

be possible for them to take them both out.

The wider world might also recover if the discovery can be relayed to others so that

sound-based weapons can be developed to take down the alien invasion.

By the way, the idea of being pregnant during this apocalyptic time is interesting both

in terms of the plot and for what it symbolises.

Obviously, it creates a huge problem as not only is giving birth in total silence impossible,

but a new-born baby will also naturally cry out.

To cope with this, the family builds a special basement area with a box for the baby complete

with an oxygen tank.

The underground room is covered with a mattress which seems to muffle sounds coming from below

enough to keep any creatures from detecting them.

The birth was actually supposed to take place in this room but, of course, Evelyn was forced

to give birth in the bathroom while she was hiding from the alien invading the house.

Symbolically, Evelyn's pregnancy and birth signals hope for their family and the future

of the world and you can also see this in the fact that, despite their terrible situation,

Evelyn tries to move forward by home-schooling her children and both parents try to maintain

their spirits with family dinners and board games.

This indicates that the Abbot family is trying to thrive, not just survive, during this nightmarish

time.

By the way, the scene where Evelyn is in the flooded basement with the baby is an interesting

call-back to earlier in the film where Lee showed his son Marcus how the sound of the

waterfall would mask noises they made.

The sound of the water in the flooding basement muffled some of the sound of the whimpering

baby, but Evelyn took herself and the baby behind a sheet of falling water as the baby

started to cry and just like with the waterfall, the noise of the falling water was enough

to drown out the baby's crying.

So, did you enjoy A Quiet Place and what did you think about the creatures?

Also, would you like to see follow-up stories set in this universe, along the lines of the

Cloverfield movies?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and you can also tweet me @Jan_Gilbert

The Secret step-by-step Guide to learn Hacking - Duration: 14:42.

"Where should I start?

Can you guide me?

What resources can you recommend me?"

I get this asked a lot.

TLDR: I don't know.

I genuinely don't know.

Before I tell you my thoughts I have to mention that I'm young.

I have very limited exposure to the industry, I have not had different jobs in this field.

And so I really don't know how to transition from another job into it.

What certifications to get, how to balance a full time job and a family.

Anything country specific.

I really can't help you with that because I have 0 experience.

All I can look at is my life and tell you my thoughts about it.

If you disagree with what I will say, or it doesn't help you, then you need to ask somebody

else.

I don't have the answer.

But I think there are a lot of misconceptions about how to get into the security field.

And I try to explain now why.

Maybe you think there is some kind of shortcut.

Or at least a very efficient path.

You hope a professional or experienced person can easily tell you about a clear path to

success.

I certainly had exactly those thoughts several years ago.

I got frustrated why nobody would write down a clear guide.

I felt somewhat entitled that I have good experience already, I just need some guidance

or mentoring.

But the truth is: there is no efficient path Truth is: it just takes years of experience

So if you think that somehow it would be easier with a study plan, it's not.

So forget it.

I'm sure you know this interview question: "what advice would you give your younger

self?"

And for me, I don't know.

While certainly thinking differently at the time, in retrospect, I don't think there

was anything bad or inefficient about the path I took.

Of course I could help my younger self understand certain concepts better and faster, and that's

what I try to do with the videos, the videos cover exactly what I would tell my past self,

but I couldn't lay out a path of do X, Y, Z.

There is no secret step by step guide!

It's not a straight path, but a web of interconnected topics, layers and dependencies and you are

free to walk and jump between stuff however you want.

Truth is: anything you do.

Any tutorial you follow.

Any project you start and never finish.

Any dead-end you head down.

It's not wasted.

It's all experience that is accumulating over time.

If I learned anything about Hacking.

What it means, what it is, then at least to me, it's not really something I can get

a hold on.

It's an abstract artistic and broad term for many different things.

Truth is: Hacking is just learning IT stuff, but kinda in an artistic weird creative way.

Maybe now you say, well tell us about your path then?

Clearly it got me somewhere right, maybe that's the ultimate guide.

While there are a few things I can mention, my path is also full of just luck.

Opportunities I have never planned for.

So it's also somewhat not applicable to anybody else.

Nevertheless, here a few checkpoints that maybe give you some idea.

As a kid I started with some HTML Then I got a book about Visual Basic Script.

And I wanted to write an operating system in it.

If you have ever written Visual Basic Script, it's a bit like Javascript, so you know

how ridiculous that idea was.

But that didn't hold me back, I asked this question in a forum and was called a dumb

TROLL.

I was really sad that day, because I was just a kid trying to learn something and I had

no idea what it means to have an OS.

Anyway, at some point I got into web programming with php.

So I had to learn actual HTML, CSS, javascript, php and mysql.

I started and abandoned several browsergames projects.

Then I heard about sql injection and did a school project on it.

Here, I wrote a test application and explained how injections work.

I started to learn java and got into android app programming

Did some C++ and a bit of game programming.

Made a shitty monopoly clone.

Then I did some Google Wave gadgets, does anybody remember that.

I was just a dumb kid and my code was ugly but my poll gadget got some attention from

professionals.

That was cool.

I learned more computer science fundamentals in university.

Data structures and algorithms.

Learned about linux because I started to use it at work

Joined a hackerspace and learned about arduinos and soldering

And then I guess the major turning point, I discovered my first CTF, the stripe ctf,

got hooked on wargames and other challenge sites.

And essentially here I am now.

And now I'm a freelancer doing security code audits, pentesting, application security

and that kind of stuff.

And please don't ask me how to get into freelancing.I have no clue how to do it.

I met a guy, who knew a guy, who recommended me and here I am.

So that was not planned at all.

And looking at my history, imagine that these are just large checkpoints.

It's not on a straight path.

It's traversing through a jungle of different topics. it's kind of like a fractal or the

coastline paradox, if you zoom in you uncover even more complex lines.

There is a lot of stuff I did not mentioned in this highlevel view.

Like making RPG Maker games, where I was first exposed to if-else logic blocks.

Or modding my calculator with a window and LEDs. one of my first exposures to electronics.

If you ask me where to start, where should I point you to?

Is the start the first HTML line wote as a young kid?

Or is the start when I had already years of programming experience and discovered CTFs.

I have no answer for you, you have to figure that out yourself.

But one truth is, I didn't discover any secrets.

There is no anonymous secret hacker organization with forbidden knowledge.

I simply apply the knowledge that I gained about computers over the years.

You know, Programmers use the same knowledge but just think differently.

they think: "how can I make it work" And a hacker thinks: "how should you implement

it, so that it's secure, and what could a lazy programmer do wrong?"

Truth is: the more you understand how something is built, you can also think about how it

could break So I'd say 95% of what I'm doing is just

learning about how computers work.

And by that I mean learning a ton of different programming languages, frameworks, concepts,

and so forth.

Over the years I gained a very good broad basic understanding from low level logic gates,

over simple circuits, to PCBs and chips, microcontrollers, low-level programming, assembler, c, firmware,

operating systems, higher level languages, language and programming concepts, data structures,

file structures, 3D programming, networking, cryptography, servers, server administration,

websites, frameworks, databases, web apps, mobile apps, math, machine learning, the list

is endless.

And you see, nothing on this list screams "hacking" or "security".

Because this knowledge is just the base requirement, the tool that I use to do my job as a "professional

hacker".

Like I said, it's not secret knowledge.

It's everything a programmer, sysadmin or whoever would learn, just applied a bit differently.

So I'm thinking: "what could go wrong.

How can files be exposed.

How could I gain access without a password.

How could I modify sth that shouldn't be modifiable, how can I manipulate the output"

and so forth.

And maybe it's surprising to you, but that's not different from what a programmer or IT

architect would do.

They use the exact same technology just have different thinking patterns.

Different problems they try to solve: So they think "how could I use these things to build

a social network, how could I build a time-laps camera, how could I make a fun game".

Different problems, different goals, but based on the same knowledge.

And the security focused stuff, like conference talks, CTF writeups, trainings, academic papers,

blog posts, are essentially just sharing cool ideas how to apply this knowledge in a security

focused way.

And that is not different to a programmer sharing techniques on how to handle huge dataset

efficiently, or how to implement a game AI.

Don't think of hacking as anything crazy or special.

It is based on exactly the same thing just with a bit different angle.

Breaking not building.

So to summarise: hacking requires a lot of knowledge about computers.

And I say generic computers, because it could literally mean anything IT related.

And learning a wide variety of technologies and gaining experience and knowledge to draw

from, just takes time.

It takes years.

So any game you develop, any minecraft redstone circuits you build, any boring sorting algorithm,

any math class any mobile app you start and abandon, anything you do is knowledge you

accumulate and eventually can use.

So one general advice I give is, it takes a lot of time, so make sure you have fun!

Enjoy learning about computers.

Enjoy programming.

Enjoy following tutorials.

Enjoy learning a new language.

Whatever it is that you have fun with, it will keep you motivated over the years.

Don't get me wrong.

You don't have to first program for years and then get into security.

You can do it in parallel.

When you write a android app, look into the official android security tips.

Think about what could go wrong.

What happens if you don't follow it.

Play around with that.

Maybe at some point you want to build a web api to be used by the app, and suddenly you

learn web development and server administration.

Then you have to debug your connection, you look into web proxys and how that can be used

to analyse and test stuff.

This is essentially the process you will be doing for the next few years.

And that's what I do all the time.

You know the thought of being able to hack an iphone, a gaming console or banking terminal

is motivating, but good chance is that you are just very very far away from that.

I'm at least not there yet.

I failed with my nintendo switch hack attempt.

I barely understood the surface.

But that's fine, I keep learning.

And I have a ton of fun with learning basics and learning a new programming language and

learning new technologies.

And in a few years, in two more console generations, maybe I know enough to join one of those teams.

I know you might still feel frustrated, where to start.

But if you feel frustrated, then that's probably because you picked a target way too

large for you.

If you don't know the steps you need to take, it's too far away to see how to get

there.

So try to break that goal up.

For example if you want to get into bug bounties and you have no clue how to do that.

Analyse it.

Sit down and try to uncover the underlying topics.

For example bug bounties are usually web security.

Web security means hacking websites.

Websites can be written in a ton of different languages.

So start with one, learn php, learn what can go wrong with php.

Learn about different php frameworks.

Learn about different databases.

And with "learn about" I mean, write your own test websites, use the frameworks, just

play around with it and gain experience.

When you get bored with php, look into python.

Learn about python flask and django.

What can go wrong with python websites?

What can go wrong with ruby websites.

Do you see how the typical ruby, python and php web security issues are super different,

because they are different languages?

Learn about javascript, learn about html and then try to understand what XSS means.

You see how that single topic just immediately exploded in so many sub categories, and here

you have a list of stuff you can spend years on.

Ad it's not a step by step path.

It's a collection of topics and you basically jump around between them, and slowly understand

them deeper and better.

Over the years I have revisited the security of php websites and I always learn a bit more.

And you can even go so deep to look into the actual php C source code.

So this is what you have to do.

Break it up, try to understand the layers that build up whatever you want to do, and

learn these layers.

It's a bit of research, but that's part of it.

And another thing I want to make clear, you won't find these things when searching for

"hacking tutorials".

That's something I had to learn.

Truth is: most resources hackers use are regular documentation and programming resources.

Hacking tutorials, like what I show you in videos, is just showing you how to apply that

stuff to security.

You don't need to rely on me or any other person to write it up for you, you can do

it yourself.

In many many videos I'm not referencing any secret hacking book, I just simply open

the official avr assembler reference, or look into the php function documentation or look

at the official linux manual pages.

So let me summarize: No!

There is no clear easy path to learn this stuff and I can't help you.

There is no secret book or website to learn it.

The more you understand computers, the more ideas and understanding you have what can

go wrong.

Programming, abstract theory and so forth is important to understand computers

And just have fun.

If making games sounds fun, make games.

It takes years to accumulate this knowledge, so make sure you enjoy the ride

And one last thing I want to say.

I make the videos in a way, I would have loved to watch them some years ago.

Which means I already had experience with programming.

So I guess my channel is not intended for complete programming beginners, but I still

hope that what I just described helps you to get somehow started.

And if you have some experience, just keep watching my videos and take them as inspiration

to look deeper or into different topics.

You absolutely don't have to understand everything, but catching one thought, or seeing

one tool I use can be all the difference.

And I hope the videos at least give you a rough idea how stuff works and you can research

it once you actually need it.

If you want some more guidance you can also checkout my playlists.

I have fairly long binary exploitation playlist, mostly based on exploit-exercises.com.

But I also have some websecurity videos.

Or just my CTF writeups.

Like I said it's not a clear path so just keep jumping between topics and just have

fun.

Look into stuff, get frustrated, and then look into other stuff.

And otherwise, maybe look at overthewire, picoctf, ctftime.org, try out some bug bounties

or just look at other programming youtube channels and learn about something new.

Make sure to check the description for links to stuff I can recommend.

Anyway.

always try to learn something new.

And trust me, if you just stay curious and keep looking into many different new things,

in a few years, you will totally get there.

Be patient.

Oregon's Governor Took ENORMOUS Payoff Days Before Telling Trump 'I Won't Protect America'. LOCK HER - Duration: 5:05.

LOCK HER UP!!

Oregon's Governor Took ENORMOUS Payoff Days Before Telling Trump 'I Won't Protect

America'.

A shady liberal Democrat governor from Oregon, who was previously endorsed by former President

Barack Obama, has just been linked to taking a payout from the wilted old evil mastermind

that many people call George Soros.

He's a billionaire leftist who manages hedge-funds and wafts his money around the stringent air

of Democrats as if he's the donor and his minions are all broke people trying to escape

socialism.

His recent payment to Governor Kate Brown exists merely to remind readers of Soros'

involvement and highly pulled puppet strings among the lesser known politicians.

For example, not many people have ever heard of Kate Brown until today when people reported

her accepting Soros money.

Now she's in the "in crowd" and it's only a matter of time until she puts the money

to waste, which is something Democrat politicians are very good at.

For example, many major cities living with high levels of poverty are historically run

by Democrat mayors who pander to the poor for the votes, then keep them poor with a

life filled of broken promises.

A reporter named Willamette Week uncovered some other truths about Kate Brown.

They stated, and this is their words, not mine, that Brown allegedly ignored problems

that many Oregonians faced on a daily basis.

That sounds par for the course under the leadership of a Democrat Governor.

The Oregon GOP doesn't appear to be thrilled with the puppetry string pulling and Kate

Brown as she's accused of being toted around as if she's under the hypnosis of big money.

With that said, the people aren't happy with her.

Oregon GOP reported: "Willamette Week is reporting (link is external) that Governor

Kate Brown has accepted "an unprecedented" campaign check from George Soros, a billionaire

left-wing hedge-fund manager and campaign donor who resides in New York.

This is Soros' "first direct involvement" in Oregon.

"Kate Brown has consistently ignored problems facing everyday Oregonians and has instead

used the office of Governor to make herself a national left-wing celebrity.

Now, Brown is cashing in and taking big campaign donations from notorious leftist puppet master,

billionaire George Soros," stated Oregon Republican Chairman Bill Currier.

"We need a Governor who tackles crime, faltering state agencies, and the PERS pension crisis,

and a leader who will rescue our bottom performing K-12 schools and stop the out-of-control spending

and endless tax increases," added Currier.

"Kate Brown is more interested in wooing George Soros and the out-of-state, leftist,

super-rich donor class than truly confronting the serious problems at home.

Now we know who she really works for."

"Oregon voters have yet another reason to send petty politician Kate Brown packing by

ending her disastrous governorship this November."

It appears as though the level of potentially corrupt money is way too high and reaches

states that many people weren't paying attention to until the cash rolled in.

Once Soros gets his old fleshy fingers on the strings of a Democrat leader, the taste

of the big money is too delicious for the shady politicians to turn away from.

It borders on the edge of socialism and insanity as the politicians cash checks and the residents

linger and live paycheck to paycheck.

Residents who found out about Kate's payout, also known as a donation, from Soros will

inquire about how she plans to spend the money.

Will the money be used to benefit the residents or will it line the interior of her bank account?

This same governor was caught in another scandalous moment as she openly stated that she would

not allow her unit of the National Guard to be sent towards the Mexican border to help

protect Americans and prevent the massive illegal immigrant invasion that was carrying

on.

Thousands of people were storming the border, hailing all the way from Central America,

and demanded entry and benefits from the country without having to follow the protocol for

people who become legal immigrants.

Unfortunately, America has rules and everyone must follow them.

The Oregon governor was featured in an article at CNN about her lack of interest in doing

what's right by the American way.

CNN reported: "Oregon's governor says that if President Donald Trump asks to dispatch

members of her state's National Guard to the US southern border, she'll "say no."

In a set of tweets Wednesday, Democratic Gov. Kate Brown said she was "deeply troubled"

by Trump's plan to send members of the US military to the border and implied that the

President is doing so as a political distraction.

"If @realDonaldTrump asks me to deploy Oregon Guard troops to the Mexico border, I'll

say no.

As Commander of Oregon's Guard, I'm deeply troubled by Trump's plan to militarize our

border," the tweet said."

It's a shame that our politicians are often so against the President and the greater good

of the American people and our laws.

THOUSANDS Of Bikers Have Huge Plan To Take America Back!

'Watch Out!

We're Coming For You!'

The 2016 presidential campaign was very divisive for much of the nation, but it was also very

uniting for some unexpecting parties.

We are taught from a very young age that talking about religion and politics are off limits,

but the most recent election season put all that in the past.

Everyone was talking about politics, and people found that they agreed, politically, with

some surprising people.

Some of those people were politically active bikers.

While bikers sometimes get a bad reputation because motorcycles are the mode of transportation

preferred by certain illegal elements, a lot of bikers are just free spirit retirees who

want to live full lives in their golden years.

Several times in recent history, we've seen bikers coming to the rescue.

Whether it be protecting scared children who fear to face their attackers in court or transporting

the remains of fallen heroes to their final resting place, we find them riding their steel

horses for good.

While the failed Hillary campaign wants you to believe that married white women are responsible

for the election of President Trump, they found an unlikely ally in bikers across America.

The Washington Examiner reports that Florida has a large contingent of very politically

active bikers, and they're fully behind President Trump:

"Edgewater, Florida, It was Thursday of Daytona Bike Week, and Chris Cox was standing

on a makeshift stage out in back of the No Name Saloon, a biker bar advertising cheap

beer and a wet t-shirt contest.

Cox's group Bikers for Trump was hosting a rally, ostensibly to promote the gubernatorial

bid of local Republican Rep. Ron DeSantis.

But DeSantis didn't appear and his name was barely mentioned.

That's because the bikers real purpose in holding the rally was to demonstrate their

loyalty to President Trump.

"The fact that Donald Trump has endorsed DeSantis is all Bikers for Trump needs to

know," Cox explained to the few dozen bikers on hand.

"What I intend to do is simply to follow Trump's lead."

Following Trump's lead has served Cox well.

Three years after launching Bikers for Trump, Cox is attempting to transform the group into

one of America's most powerful grassroots political organizations.

Cox has had what can best be described as a colorful life.

A chainsaw woodcarving artist who once worked as an advance man for Vice President Dan Quayle,

Cox's first brush with fame came when he mowed the lawn near the Lincoln Memorial during

the 2013 government shutdown.

That stunt earned Cox the nickname "lawnmower man," and several national media appearances.

Cox launched Bikers for Trump in the fall of 2015, back when Trump's campaign was

eliciting more laughter than endorsements.

In an interview in his Bikers for Trump RV the night before the DeSantis rally, Cox said

he was initially laughed at for backing the reality TV star.

And it did seem odd that a group of rugged ex-vets and tattooed blue-collar types would

endorse a draft-avoiding, necktie-selling Manhattanite who prefers riding in limos to

mounting motorcycles.

But there was something about Trump that resonated with these bikers.

There was his aversion to political correctness, which they shared.

"Like Trump, the biker will tell it like it is," Cox said.

Also, Trump's platform seemed tailor-made to bikers.

"The backbone of the bike community is the vet," said Cox. Trump's promises to "knock

the hell out of ISIS," rebuild the military, and improve veteran healthcare were exactly

what vets wanted to hear.

Bikers for Trump quickly became one of Trump's most visible backers.

The bikers patrolled the candidate's rallies, informally working with law enforcement to

identify rabble-rousers and, at times, getting into scuffles with protesters.

The bikers volunteer security work earned it appreciative tweets from Trump and some

national media attention.

After the election, Cox was invited to meet the president in the Oval Office.

Cox earned more love from Trump in the lead-up to Trump's inauguration, when some left-wing

groups threatened violence.

Cox responded that his bikers would form a "wall of meat" to prevent protesters from

causing a disturbance.

'Bikers for Trump are on their way,' Trump tweeted.

After Trump's presidency started, the bikers began thinking of ways to capitalize on their

newfound stature.

Trump has delivered on the issues bikers care about most.

Under Trump, the United States has helped liberate nearly 100 percent of the territory

held by ISIS.

The spending bill signed by Trump in March included $700 billion for the military, the

largest military budget in U.S. history.

According to Cox, reforming the VA should be America's most urgent priority.

'Twenty-two vets a day kill themselves,' he said.

'Who's helping them?

These vets I meet, they don't go to the VA because they don't think they'll get

the care they need.

That in itself is a crisis.

Cox thinks that Trump's plan to replace David Shulkin with White House physician Ronny

Jackson to lead the VA is a step in the right direction."

Americans have the honor and privilege to be able to vote and campaign for those that

value what we value.

Working to elect a President that will back our pet issues is our birthright, and if you're

in Florida, you might see that work done by backs covered in leather and hearts pumping

red white and blue.

Conservative pundits are concerned that the liberal backlash to President Trump's election

will end with a Democratic sweep in the 2018 election, and that they could lead to an impeachment

attempt by the left.

In other words, just because President Trump is in office, it doesn't mean that his supporters

can rest.

What do you think about this?

Audio formats: too much to choose from? - Duration: 18:05.

CD, SACD, DVD-Audio, Pure Audio Blu-Ray, MP3, FLAC, WAV, ALAC, DSD, DSF, the number of audio

formats is countless and many find it difficult to choose where basically there are three

groups of audio encoding that can be stored on a limited number of carriers.

Well, that probably isn't clear either.

Time for some explanation.

There are roughly two ways of storing audio digitally: Linear Pulse Code Modulation or

linear PCM and Pulse Density Modulation, that is known under the brand name Digital Stream

Direct or DSD.

There are other methods but these are not used for music distribution.

Let's start with the lather: DSD is used on Super Audio CD's and nowadays also downloads

in DSD are available.

DSD information can be stored in files that have DFF or DSF as extension.

The technique offers high quality audio but never reached wide market acceptation.

For SACD's you need a special SACD player and SACD's can't be ripped easily.

DSD files bought on line can be played by many modern streamers and computer/DAC combinations.

On SACD's the DSD64 variant is used, where the 64 stands for a sampling frequency that

is 64 times that of a cd.

The very high sampling rate can be used since only one bit per sample is used.

The quality is often compared to 24 bit 352.8 kHz PCM - I'll come back to PCM.

There are also DSD128 and DSD256 files for sale although their number is very limited.

Obviously their sampling rate are two and four times that of DSD64.

In theory a higher sampling rate provides a more precise registration up to a point

where the precision is higher than needed.

The jury still is out on this subject.

Usually linear PCM is called just PCM.

It is the digital format that is used on cd's.

It uses a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz and 16 bits per sample.

Please watch my video 'Digital audio: Pulses are not real world, sine waves are' for

an explanation on what this all means.

The link is in the shownotes, in the top left corner and at the end of this video.

To offer a higher quality and to have an answer on the by Sony and Philips SACD format, the

DVD-Audio was developed.

In essence a DVD disc that only contains PCM files at a higher resolution.

Usually 24 bit, 96 kHz files are used although 24 bit 192 kHz versions are offered too (but

never of the same album and artist).

Where a limited catalogue of SACD discs still is for sale, DVD-Audio discs are not or at

least almost not.

But the industry tried the same trick again with Pure Audio Blu-rays.

These are Blu-ray disks that contain up to 192 kHz 24 bit audio files in stereo but can

also contain surround and even Dolby Atmos files.

Again with very limited succes though.

In the mean time the internet had already started promoting the proletarian sharing

of music, using techniques to get smaller audio files.

The files on a cd are so called WAV files and are relatively big for the information

they contain.

When the files are copied to a hard disk - often called ripping - it therefore results in files

that have the .WAV extension.

Back in the day when bandwidth was scarce, the internet was slow and hard disk capacity

was very expensive, the Motion Picture Expert Group - MPEG for short - developed a system

to compress video and audio files by leaving out information that 'will not be missed'.

That resulted in the MPEG1 standard that was followed up by the MPEG2 standard as used

for DVD's.

At that time the audio part, called MPEG2-layer 3 - abbreviated to MP3, became popular with

youngsters to share music over the web.

They often used the 128 kilobit per second setting that reduced the file size by a factor

of ten or more.

It also reduced the audio quality but when played back over PC speakers, no one will

notice.

The compression can be set at a higher bitrate, leading to larger files: 256 kilobit per second

is already better and 384 kilobit per second sounds identical to the original to many that

own a simple stereo in a box system.

It reduces the file size to about one fifth.

But developments at MPEG lead to MPEG4 - there never was an MPEG3 standard published.

The MPEG4 compression allegedly is twice as efficient as MPEG2, meaning that for the same

quality the file will be twice as small.

Or, for the same file size you get twice the quality.

For video this codec - the technical name for such a mechanism - was called Advanced

Video Codec - AVC - and is used for Blu-rays.

The audio codec is called Advanced Audio Codec, abbreviated to AAC.

Apple adapted this codec and initially applied a proprietary copy protection to it.

This made people believe it was an Apple format - Apple Audio Codec.

It isn't, the copyright-free version also now used by Apple, is an original MPEG standard

and since it is supposed to be twice as efficient as MP3, I use this for mobile use, like for

in the car.

There the 256 kilobit per second setting produces sufficient audio quality.

But not for the home.

Then a file format, named Free Lossless Audio Codec - FLAC for short - became available

that was able to reduce the file size of a WAV file by 40 to 60% without degrading the

audio quality.

There have been people that heard differences between WAV and FLAC files and they were right.

At that time decompressing FLAC files was not done properly on some players.

FLAC works about the same as ZIP compression on a computer.

If you compress a big spreadsheet using ZIP and send it around the world, on the other

side it can be unZIPed and will contain exactly the same info.

With audio this unpacking needs to be done at sufficient speed and nowadays that's

no problem at all.

At the same time Apple developed their own lossless codec, called Apple Lossless Audio

Codec - ALAC for short but also called just Apple Lossless.

It is about the same as FLAC and since FLAC is open source, it is preferred by many.

Two years ago a new way of encoding music was introduced, called Master Quality Authenticated.

It comes from the understanding that our auditory system doesn't function as electronics in

a linear way but has it's own set of properties that we still only know and understand partly.

Although it uses a mild form of lossy compression above 45 kHz and thus is not lossless in the

technical bit-counting sense, to me and many colleagues it does a better job in storing

and reproducing audio, which to me is the point of it all.

But as with any change there is a group of protesters that use all kinds of arguments

to 'prove' MQA is bad news.

Please watch my playlist on MQA for more information.

Next to the audio quality it also has the feature to store high resolution files in

a file size that is about equal to WAV while it can be further compressed by using FLAC.

This way a high resolution audio file, say 24 bit 192 kHz, can be stored in a file that

is almost equal in size to a 44.1 kHz, 16 bit file.

When the CD was introduced you needed to buy a cd-player and cd's.

Then when SACD and DVD-Audio were introduced, you needed to buy another player yet again.

Luckily most SACD players also played DVD-Audio and vice versa.

Then streaming became popular and you could use your computer to play music.

But since computers are not optimised for audio quality, they do sound very poor, also

when you play, for instance, high quality FLAC files.

So an external digital to analogue converter was needed unless you used a network renderer,

a playback device that is part of your stereo but gets the music over the home network from

your computer or NAS.

Then high-res audio files became available and you needed a device that was suited for

96 kHz and later on even higher sampling rates.

And for MQA you need yet another DAC or player.

You might not like that, but it is the reality of the tech driven world.

People that complain about having to buy a new MQA DAC should realise that they don't

have to buy anything.

The old gear still works.

And have been working a lot longer than their smartphone that is often replaced after only

two years of use.

If it isn't broken or lost sooner.

If you switched to streaming, this might be of interest to you.

I ripped a track from a cd and then converted it to all formats except for MQA since that

can only be encoded by the studio.

The track I used appeared to be one that could be compressed to a high degree so the FLAC

and ALAC files were smaller than usual.

But that's fine.

Let's see: when we set the WAV file to 100%, the MQA file, compressed in FLAC as usual

would be around 49%, Apple lossless around 46%, the normal WAV file compressed with FLAC

around 45%, AAC at 256 kilobit per second around 18%, MP3 at 256 kilobit per second

around 16% and MP3 at 128 kilobit per second at around 9%.

These figures might vary depending on the music chosen and the encoding software and

thus are a rough indication.

But they are clear enough to see that using WAV is a waste of space.

But it gets even more interesting if we compare the file size to the sound quality as perceived

by me.

I know, this is purely subjective.

But it is also based on 45 years of listening experience thus not completely useless.

WAV is the starting point and thus is 100% audio quality.

On good equipment ALAC and FLAC sound the same and thus also score 100%, while producing

clearly smaller files.

MQA, also based on the same WAV has the ability to sound better since the mastering in the

studio is done differently and scores 125% to my ears while the file size is almost as

small as a normal FLAC.

AAC at 256 kilobit per second produces considerable smaller files at the expense of some audio

quality and scores 80%.

MP3 at the same bitrate produces even slightly smaller files but also further reduces the

audio quality, scoring 50%, while MP3 at 128 kilobit per second has by far the smallest

file size but also the lowest audio quality, rated at 30%.

Now what does this all mean.

Wel from a technical standpoint higher sampling rates using the same technique offers potentially

higher quality.

Dat doesn't necessarily mean a recording at a higher sampling rate will absolutely

sound better.

A bad recording can not be improves by a higher sampling rate.

Nor will it compensate for poor audio equipment, although some equipment might sound better

since these files are easier to convert.

But generally higher sampling rates will offer higher audio quality.

Watch my video 'The truth about Nyquist and why 192 kHz does make sense' for further

explanation.

Now, how can you obtain those files?

Let me give you an overview, starting with PCM: 44.1 kHz files can be bought on cd and

as WAV, FLAC, ALAC and MQA files These files might also contain 48 kHz files.

The content of MQA files differ somewhat, see my video 'Is MQA lossless' for more

information.

88.2 and 96 kHz, 24 bit files are available on DVD-Audio, Pure Audio Blu-ray and the aforementioned

audio file formats.

The same goes for 172.4 and 192 kHz files at 24 bit.

352.8 and 384 kHz, 24 bit files are not available on disk but are supported by the file formats.

DSD64 is available on SACD and as DFF and DSF computer files.

DSD128 and 256 are not available on disks but are scarcely available as DFF or DSF files.

If you can live with lower quality, for instance for mobile use, AAC is the best choice.

But for home use AAC and MP3 are not for those that want quality.

Let me also mention that there are many other file formats around, but the ones I mentioned

are the popular ones.

If you're happy with your cd-player, that's great.

As long as you enjoy the music, you're fine.

Seriously.

And the same goes for any other system.

Getting newer technologies always means you have to invest.

I already mentioned the smartphone.

But for a car it's the same.

Whether you want airbags in every corner, distance control, hybrid tech and so on, it

means you have to invest.

That is the reason new tech is developed: to keep you buying and when done with some

sense, it is a good system.

You really wouldn't like to listen to the wax roll recorder from 1880.

The problem arises when the so called 'added value' kicks in, also called snake oil.

Whether something is snake oil or not is often hard to say without evaluating the product.

I see some manufacturers getting very popular on the web by using all the right words and

a too low price.

Anyhow, depending on your need for quality, you can now make your own choices.

I use MQA files where possible, since you can't make MQA files yourself, you depend

on what you can buy or stream.

And you do need a DAC or streamer that can decode MQA.

For all other music I use FLAC at home.

For portable use I choose AAC 256.

I almost never listen to headphones or in-ears, I only use my smartphone for music in my car.

There I find AAC 256 more than adequate.

Jeep Wrangler Omix-ADA Front Bumper Kit - OE Replacement (1997-2006 TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 3:02.

This OMIX-ADA front bumper kit is an OEM style replacement style front bumper for those of

you who that have 1997 to 2006 TJ.

Now, if you are looking to replace that factory front bumper because it's dinged up, it's

rusted, whatever else might be wrong with it, maybe you're converting back to stock

from the aftermarket bumper.

Regardless of the reason, this is going to be a pretty much an exact replica of a factory

front bumper at a lower price than you'd be able to get it if you went directly to Mopar

and directly to the dealer.

This is going to be something that installs very easily onto your jeep.

Definitely a one out of three wrench installation in about an hour's time that will a little

bit depend on what bumper you currently have on the jeep, and getting that removed, however,

still very simple process and we'll talk more about that in just a second.

So like I said, this is really gonna be for those of you looking to return to a stock

look or replace a factory stock front bumper with one that is going to be brand new.

So, no rust, no fading, everything is going to be included here that you're going to need

to get it installed on your jeep.

And, it's gonna save you some money over going directly to the dealer, directly to Mopar.

So in my opinion this is gonna be a great option if you're going back to stock or replacing

a factory front bumper.

As for construction, there's not a lot to say about this bumper.

It is a factory front bumper in every way that you can imagine.

You have your center section here, which is gonna be steel.

You have your floaties, you have your bumper ends here on the corners.

You're going to be able to get everything installed very easily.

It's all going to bolt right up to your factory frame, making a very easy install.

So for that installation, definitely a one outta three wrench install, less than an hour

to get this installed.

All you have to do is remove your factory front bumper that you currently have on your

Jeep, or whatever aftermarket bumper you might have on your jeep.

You go ahead and set this over the frame rails.

It's gonna get bolted in from the bottom and also from the top and then you can attach

your corners.

You can probably attach the corners before you install the bumper on the jeep if you

chose to.

Really up to you, either way very easy process.

This bumper's gonna run you around $165 which I do think is gonna be a pretty good deal

when you consider what this would cost if you went directly to the dealership, got one

directly from Mopar that's gonna be much more expensive.

Now, ideally, you'd be able to just buy a Craigslist bumper, one that somebody took

off to put an aftermarket bumper [inaudible 00:02:17].

But even the newest TJ is going to be older these days.

Chances are the bumper's gonna be a little bit scratched up, rusted, faded, damaged in

one way or another.

So if you want something that is factory fresh, this is gonna be a great way to go for what

I think is a pretty good price.

So if you're looking for a factory style front bumper for your TJ at less than dealer prices,

this option from OMIX-ADA is going to be an excellent choice, and you can find it right

here at extremeterrain.com.

The Flash Season 4 Episode 17 Preview and Breakdown! How will the thinker be defeated? - Duration: 5:32.

hey everybody crafty media is back and today I'm going to be breaking down the

latest episode of the flash which is entitled to null and annoyed it's the

third episode of the flash that's directed by Kevin Smith who directed one

of my all-time favorite episodes of the flash and titled the runaway dinosaur it

was probably the most emotional episode of the flash ever and I don't know if it

can be topped but it also had some humorous moments bury courts in the

Speed Force had some amazing conversations with his mother and who

can ever forget that scene where iris hold Barry out of the Speed Force with

the power of I guess their love

I'm Barry

if this scene doesn't give you goosebumps nothing well as you may know

Kevin Smith recently suffered a massive heart attack and he was told by his

doctors to lose at least 50 pounds but the good news is he's already lost 26

and we wish him well the episode also sees the return of breacher Danny Trejo

aka gypsies father and if you remember the title is null and annoyed the

annoyed part is definitely coming from breacher being annoyed by Sisko the

other part of the title no in null and annoyed refers to a character from the

comics no the character first appeared as a netherworld ER in the Hawke world

comic which of course features Hawkgirl and Hawkman he was one of the

netherworld errs from the netherworld which is a fictional place in Chicago

which is home to metahumans paranormals and mutants who are neither hero nor

villain and they choose to live as normal people for the most part nothin

the comics was a homeless man who had the power to manipulate gravity as we

can see in the extended promo in the show they've retained the essence of the

character and that their powers are to manipulate gravity however in the show

the character null will be reimagined as janet pity AKA null who is clearly not a

homeless man the character is played by Bethany Brown she had small roles on

supernatural and the Tom Welling produced Hellcats

another great Easter egg is that Jay and Silent Bob will make a cameo in the

episode I think it's most lucky that Janet petty shown here using some of her

gravitational powers on the flash and seen scaling walls in a very Spider Man

esque way will most likely be one of the lost bass meters it's gonna be

interesting to see if she stays a villain or if she in some way joins team

flash she is also set to appear in episode 18 entitled lose yourself so

she's definitely not gonna just be a one and done all will devour be able to

assimilate her powers the show also sees the return of Jessica kamancheh who is

gypsy and it's always fun to see her and Cisco's interactions especially when her

father is involved and what is the purpose of breacher coming to their

earth anyway the lovely South African actress Kim Engelbrecht reprises her

role as Marley Stevo and it's gonna be to see if she has any interaction with

team flesh as I suspect that we will see her eventually working with team flash

in order to bring down her husband Clifford aka the thinker perhaps

perfecting the Harrison wells version of the thinking cap and allowing him and

team flash to outsmart the thinker but I really hope the effects of the thinking

cap does not have a lasting effect on Harrison wells turning him into a

villain again of course one of the other remaining bust matters as the elongated

man aka Roth Dib knee personally I have somewhat mixed feelings about the

character he certainly hasn't been my favorite addition to team flesh and I

think the show doesn't necessarily want us to like the character that much and

as a somewhat unlikable character and I think the show may be setting him up for

a heroic sacrifice perhaps in a similar way to the way

Eddie thorn sacrificed himself in season 1 he also wasn't the most likeable

character but in the end of course redeemed himself so there you have it

hope you enjoyed this video crafty media is back in a big way for those of you

who are just finding my channel I make lots of DC and Marvel related videos

every week so please go ahead and leave a like on this video if you did and why

not subscribe to the channel for more awesome content and in honor of Kevin

Smith directing his third flash episode let me throw you back to the first

episode he directed called the good dinosaur if this scene doesn't give you

goosebumps nothing will

I'm Such A Bad Friend! 😮 - High School Storytime 2 | Kate's Adventures - Duration: 8:37.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well.

A while ago I shared with you some of my High School stories from 1st to 3rd year

and these were the stories that still make me laugh, still make me smile even after all these years

and hopefully they made you smile as well.

And today I'd like to continue that video

and share with you my stories from 4th to 6th year, so I hope you enjoy.

I feel like this first story really sums me up as a friend.

Just like in the TV sitcom, if you need me I'll be there for you,

but if you're gonna do something stupid you better believe

that I'm gonna be in the front row laughing my face off.

So this friend in particular in this first story was called Alan.

And Alan was a very intelligent guy,

but he also made some questionable decisions from time to time.

So at breaktime one time he came over to us

and he was like "Guys I've just acquired some sellotape from the Art department."

"Who wants to hold it while I run around and you can tape me up?"

And Alan had a lot of friends who had similar minds to Alan

and they were like "Dude yes, let's do this!"

So Alan ran round and 5 minutes later he looked like an Egyptian mummy covered in bandages.

His arms were taped to his side and his legs were taped together as well

so all he could really do was hop from place to place.

And he thought it was amazing... until the bell rang.

And then he was like "Guys what's gonna happen here? Guys can I get some help?"

And one of his friends just went over

and put his bag onto his back and was like "You're good now, Bro."

And me and Alan were actually in the same class after break time

so I went over to him and I was like "Are you okay, do you need any help?"

and he was like "No, no, I'm good, you just walk on ahead."

And I did walk on ahead because I knew that the face on the teacher

and everybody else in the class was gonna be priceless when Alan finally turned up.

So 10 minutes later Alan finally made it into class

and he looked like he'd been attacked by something.

His arms and his legs were free, but he still had sellotape all over his clothes

and the teacher was just like "...I don't even want to know."

Alan had hopped through the front door

and very quickly one of the teachers had spotted him

and realized something was wrong with this picture.

So they were like "Alan, what's going on?"

and he kind of hopped over and he was like "Oh you know, just friend stuff."

He got a very quick talk about bullying

because the teacher couldn't believe

that a 14-year old boy would willingly volunteer to be taped up like he was.

And then the teacher and one of the janitors cut him free

so that he at least was able to move his arms and legs.

I don't regret my decision to go on ahead

and not help him like a supportive friend probably should.

And I'm probably going to hell for that, I'm very sorry Alan

but you make poor life choices, you make poor life choices! I love you really.

My next story comes from my 5th year Maths class

and to give you a bit of background on how I did at Maths,

I wasn't one of the best students.

I started out at the school and I was in one of the lower sets

and then through sheer hard work and determination,

I made it up to one of the top sets, so I was really proud of that.

And in 5th year I was able to take Higher Maths.

Higher Maths consisted of an exam at the end of the year

but there was also little tests you had to pass throughout the year called "NABs"

to show that you understood the syllabus.

On the day that I was due to get my NAB results back,

I saw my Maths teacher Mr Brown in the corridor.

So I was like "Hey Mr Brown"

and he said "Hi Kate, well done on passing your NAB."

And I was like "I passed my NAB? I passed my NAB!"

And I was like really buzzing for the rest of the day.

I was like [SINGING] "I passed my NAB, I passed my NAB."

And my friend Toni was also in my class

and she was like "Oh, you heard you passed your NAB?"

"Did he say how anybody else did?"

And I was like "No, no he didn't."

And then I started to doubt myself

I was like "...I think I passed my NAB?"

So then we saw him going past in the corridor again

and I said "Mr Brown, I did pass my NAB didn't I?"

and he said "YOU passed your NAB."

And I was like, "What's that meant to mean?"

So later in the day we went to class

and we all sat down and I was like "I don't really know what's happening here."

There was just something weird about that interaction.

And Mr Brown came in and he was like,

"Only one person in the class passed their NAB."

And at that point I was like "Oooooh!"

Because I promise you

if I'd known that I was the only person in that class who'd passed their NAB,

I would not have been loudly celebrating around the school all day!

If the ground could swallow me up in that moment, it totally would've.

And there would've been just a little seat at my desk

with like a big hole in the ground underneath.

My final story is from my 6th year at school, which was my last year

and this was a year that they decided to put on a pantomime.

For those of you who aren't aware of British culture,

a pantomime is basically a show that they put on around about Christmas.

If you think about Shrek the musical

then that's kind of the nearest I can think of in American culture

to a British pantomime, but pantomimes have certain jokes that always crop up

like "Oh no it isn't!" "Oh yes it is!" and things like that

that you don't really understand until you've been to see a panto.

So anyways we decided to put a pantomime on

and I was just one of the background characters.

I didn't really have anything special to do.

But the Art department had decided it would be really cool

if all the people who were just kind of milling around in the background

had their own personalities and they all belonged to certain scenes.

So I was chosen to be a goth

and I had a long lacy black dress to wear,

I had black boots and they gave me a black bob wig to wear as well.

Now I was quite a tall student at this point

because I was leaving school, I'd basically done all my growing.

And it just so happened that from a distance

and on the stage, I looked like a drag queen version of the Head of Music.

And it was totally unintentional

and none of the faculty seem to be aware of the effect that this costume had had.

One night they decided to have a preview of the pantomime

and we were all in full costume.

And people were wondering why Mrs Skinner was dancing crazily on the stage

but then people were like "But she's in the orchestra as well,"

like "What's going on? Why is the a version of Mrs Skinner on the stage?"

And nobody kind of knew that I was in the pantomime

because they thought I was Mrs Skinner.

And then one night I was just going down the corridor

I was like "This is just so weird, I look like a drag queen version of Mrs Skinner!"

And then I turned around and she was there.

And she was just looking as if to say "I don't even knew what to say to that".

Like I think that was the first time she'd realized that's what my costume looked like.

and then she didn't say anything but as she walked away

it looked like she was struggling not to laugh because she realized I was totally right.

But yeah Mrs Skinner was lovely,

she was a lovely teacher and I'm sure she probably danced better than I did in that show.

I hope you enjoyed hearing those stories from my High School days.

Did they remind you of your High School days in any way?

Did they remind you of any particular memories?

If they did be sure to put them down below

because I look forward to reading them.

I enjoy your stories as much as my own stories.

And if you have any other comments or questions

put them down below as well and I look forward to reading them.

New Jurassic World Attack Pack Velociraptor & Dilophosaurus Unboxing Fallen Kingdom Mattel Dinosaur - Duration: 24:19.

whoa guys watch as we unboxed Jurassic world fallen Kingdom attack pack

Dilophosaurus and attack pack Velociraptor from Mattel and compare him

to velociraptors from Jurassic world and Jurassic Park Hasbro in Kenner keep

New Jurassic World Attack Pack Velociraptor & Dilophosaurus Unboxing Fallen Kingdom Mattel Dinosaur

Kingdom dinosaur toys by Mattel both of these are attack pack dinosaurs we have

a velociraptor and a Dilophosaurus go ahead check out the back and if you keep

watching guys I'm gonna go ahead and scan these into the app and I will also

take a picture so you could scan them in yourself so here you can see all 6 of

the dinosaurs that come in the attack packs which I will be reviewing all of

them I have already done Velociraptor blue I will be doing these two now and

then the next video should be the next two and then the same thing over here so

anyways let's go ahead open these girls up and get them scans I do like their

packaging too they have a little slot here if you put your finger in if you

pull it carefully you could open the package without damaging it if you want

to repackage it after opening but you know I like keeping the packaging in

good condition so I'm glad they did that see after you open it you could barely

tell it was torn but anyways let's get her out of the package

so the first one we have is the Velociraptor and you can see the

background cool volcano and that what you see there guys my friends there's

why these dinos are so cool you could put them into so many positions look at

this she's not balancing on her arms she's on her legs and okay I had to

apologize this one you can't really put it in any position because the legs are

different Velociraptor blue they had you could have her stand all the way up if

you want it seems like this one I mean if you balanced it like that you could

have her stand crooked like that but it almost looks like this one's made to be

in the attack position where Velociraptor blue from the attack pack

is in many different positions but you know it's cool she does balance herself

you can see I put the arms way up there so you can see how she goes balanced or

soft but anyways let's go ahead take a look at this girl from the top down and

then we'll scan the code in and then we're gonna go ahead and open up the

Dilophosaurus so mouth does open and closed great job detail I mean look at

that look at that tongue I mean that tongue is awesome the detail they did on

the teeth and the totally cool eyes awesome very nice evil looking eyes arms

that end of the arms is rubber just like blue was so they are very flexible

360-degree movement on the arms the legs yeah you do got 360 degree movement on

the legs but you know it's kind of weird how they put that leg you know you could

get her to stand up but it's gonna be like that

this so it's that just looks so wrong gun sorry guys but that looks cool ah

the complaint I have about this was the same one I have with blue they did not

paint the claws black which would have been nice even black boards are great

but no I guess that's a pretty small complaint and if you really want to it

wouldn't be all that hard to do it yourself

okay the feet on these don't move the bigger medium and bigger dinos the feet

moved so you could put them in two different positions really nice coloring

almost like a lime green dark green of top the tail is it feels like rubber so

I believe the tail is rubber and the arms are rubber and the rest of her is

plastic so here you can see and here you can see the arms are in different

positions - this one's like flat and this one's like in an attack position

the head is the same on both sides and there she is

here's a good look at the bottom of her I will take a picture so you could scan

in her code some of my viewers have complained that

they can't scan it the picture I take well I find if you take this picture and

you put it on a large monitor that you could scan it okay when you start up the

app you're outside the gates of Jurassic world and then it drops you right into

the park you go ahead click the Scan button and you go ahead and scan in the

QR code on there like so I take it they're gonna have quite up to anyway

here is oh you know let's go get some facts on her first okay so if you click

info you got those she has feathers wings she does not fly she has a long

skull with the snout turned upward her sickle claw is the size of an adult

thumb okay so I'm gonna go ahead and move through

our collection so if we hit collection I have nine Dino Zoff you've been watching

my videos you have all nine of them because I've taken clear pictures so

that you could use so you could scan them in so first of all the baryon it

and next is next we have our and then our metric answers all right so I have

reviewed all of these guys if you've been watching my videos if not go ahead

and click the before or after video and they will be in there or check out the

playlist at the end of this video here at this is distraction broski right here

awesome you haven't seen me review that you've gotta check it out

and then we're back with a lot okay so now let's go ahead and check out the

Dilophosaurus and seeing her in okay so then Dilophosaurus it looks like she's

gonna actually have a little shooting feature whether she shoots that out her

mouth or not I don't know but while preserving the packaging you are in luck

okay cool okay so there she is and here is her

spitting action so she does not actually close her mouth because of the speeding

accident and you know I have not tried her legs yet I want to see if she'll go

into different positions maybe like more of a running position

she won't look at that should go all the way down and then get her into more of a

medium position or standing all the way up okay there we go it just takes a

little adjustment with the feet you can see here I'm not I did not glue her to

the surface so just to just the feet and she will

stand just fine in pretty much any position but let's take a look at this

girl from the top down you can see they did a great detail with the paint

I mean her head is small I mean look at that it's about the size a little bit

bigger than my fingertip well if you could see I mean they did a great job

with the coloring and the detail perfect little tiny red eyes the grilles up here

are red the frills on the side here pop in and out so she is really scary

intimidating looking sorry she kept falling over I had the feet adjusted

wrong with these there's so many ways to adjust the feet it's awesome and then

like I said she is spinning Benham here I mean if you look at this that does not

look like a toy that looks like a picture I mean it's just so perfect I

love the job they did with that and the only thing is they have these two little

metal things holding it on here so that detracts from it a little bit but you

know uh not much and so I love the frills all movement wise 360-degree

movement on the arms the legs I have not tested yet let's see okay sort of if you

go around the ferrule you would have 360 degree movement so very close to 360

degrees the tail is rubber the arms are rubber

the legs are plastic so here is a good look yeah the back of her this is the

only thing you would have clothes to screw holes but you know it's tiny so

it's hard you know it's hard to really see it so it doesn't detract much

problem the figure okay so I sort of like her and medium position right there

like I said I mean that looks like a picture

here she is all skinned in and she sounds really cool too so uh guys make

sure you download the app it's called Jurassic world back they have it for iOS

and for Android so anyways if you check out our collection now you can see we

have eleven dinosaurs which you will have eleven also if you've been watching

my videos I did take a picture of everyone so you could scan it in but

anyway some facts on her they're cheap they're long and pointy and not very

strong scientists believe the Dilophosaurus is moderately aggressive

her uneven jaw looks like that of a crocodile oh that's weird

okay anyways there you have eleven dinos in your Park

okay so first of all we're gonna compare the Velociraptor to some of the

velociraptors from Hasbro and Kenner Jurassic world and drastic park so first

of all these little attack pack Dino some of them I'm pretty disappointed in

I mean this one's kind of cheap I mean it's probably gonna come out around $10

it has some decent action features of aw really like the way you can't stand it

up wherever you want so anyways this here is Kenner one which

the action feature if you squeeze his legs together he Bob's his head up and

down so this one is one of the nicer velociraptor toys this one here is also

from Kenner this is JP 18 this one action feature was his head would Bob

forward and his mouth would open up but that got broken oh and then here I have

of a carnal Raptor which is a mix of a Carnotaurus

and a raptor this was made by Hasbro for Jurassic world you can see obviously

because of all the screw holes least he has the third claw but not that one that

one's pretty cheap too and then here we're gonna have velociraptor echo which

was also from Hasbro this is one of the ones it's action feature wood it moves

its arms back and forth so it almost looks like he's trying to jog or

something I have no idea what they meant by that action feature mouth doesn't

open or close bullet holes everywhere this is one of the growlers at least he

has sound but you know even that is pretty disappointing and then they had a

Velociraptor blue here this is Velociraptor blue growler squeaks if you

push it this one too he's got the moving arms so this one I call again

the jogging Raptors big paint spot here screw holes all over the other side not

too happy with that one either and then we got velociraptor

Delta growler all this on the bed we died but the sound is very similar to

the other ones least he has the third club but this one to his mouth opens and

closes if you move the tail so that is a lot better than the jogging feature but

again screw holes all over the place and then we have velociraptor charlie this

is one of the growler ones too oh this one's bad wheeze done too but this one

too chomping mouth so much better ah enough

compared to the new one now it'd be a hard choice the new ones a lot more

detailed I don't like the way it stands so it's and then this is just a hybrid

Velociraptor that was made also by Hasbro with the chomping mouth but I'm

not too happy with that either this one is a cool one this is the new director

this was made by Kenner his he has like a jumping action feature not sure if it

works anymore but the cool thing about him he's got these huge sickle claws

that move back and forth his entire body is rubber real cool looking great detail

with the teeth so out of all of them I would choose this big guy the most like

I said they aren't cheap these are battle ones they're probably gonna be

about 10 bucks I mean it's good decent detail I just don't like the way it

stands I mean that's that's like one of the first Mattel ones

I ran into that I am pretty disappointed in okay and then we're gonna go ahead

and compare the Dilophosaurus these are some from I've got from

Jurassic Park and Jurassic world obviously this is the one we just

reviewed you know he's she's small and everything

but I mean the details superb uh once again these action ones um no I like

this one the Velociraptor one I don't really like I mean I could cure I could

it wouldn't hurt me to not have that one the Dilophosaurus is cool ah here is a

Dilophosaurus from Kenner this one this was kind of disappointing - he doesn't

have the big frills or anything so this one is jpo - no action features

no songs this is a little Chomper one that actually was from Jurassic world

okay his action feature was if you push him down he opens closes his mouth and

his frills pop off but this one has like the oversized head the heads about the

size of the body so this one good for comical purposes and then you got two

other ones that were made by Hasbro this one that squeaking noise if you push the

wound here a growling noise if you pull the tail block action featuring broke

okay there we go so the action feature on this one it

Bob's his head and it's krills so that was not bad looking from the front

decide all right over here you get like a big speaker thing and bunch of bullet

holes and stuff so I'm not too happy with that one and then they also made

another one that was more of a grayish color so this one same action so you

push down the tail he Bob's his head forward and his frills pop off so it'd

have been nice if drills were controlled by the action rather than gravity

but then squeaking wound here but again bunch of screw holes there so out of

those ones I would pick the new one just because of the detail I mean once again

take a look at the face of that one that one is totally

awesome okay so how will these compare to the trash and throw t-rex let us see

so this guy came up here Saurus down here comes the cute and the cheap Hasbro

one comes running again what will happen to him ah that's what the t-rex thinks

about Hasbro toy final one tries to flee for his life in it's the end of the

world s who knows
