How to install and set up the Nest Hello video doorbell. - Duration: 5:55.

hello one welcome to the computer labs YouTube channel so today we are looking

at the nest hello this is the UK product so it's only been out a couple of weeks

and I'm going to show you how to install it

using a pretty standard setup with a new installation using the two-wire

installation so if you're interested in installing a nest hello in the UK or

anywhere else please do keep on watching this video.

okay so for this installation

I'm using a bell wire which is suitable for 16 volt 24 volt and a doorbell chime

again needs to suit the transformer 16 volts 24 volt I'm using the Honeywell

ding-dong I'm also using the protec transformer model number BT8-16 and a

din rail housing and closure to mount the transformer, Next job is to

download the nest app and go down to the bottom where you can add a product and

then it first asks you to take a picture of your chimes wiring if you already

have one in and it asks you how many wires it has to free or more obviously if

yours is a new installation then you can just pick whichever configuration you

are setting up as, so the next part of the process if you do have a bell chime

already installed is disconnect individual wires so it asks you to do

these individuals so you don't get mixed up I presume actually to disconnect one

then insert the nest chime so that in line with the circuit you already have

obviously it's a new install you can just do it as per the wiring but if you

do have one that's already there just disconnect them put the bell chime

connector in line your wiring there and what the Chime connector does it makes

sure that the nest hello camera has a constant feed and the way normal bell works is by

using a open circuit so when you push the bell it will close the circuit and ring

your doorbell the chime connector allows power to get to the nest camera at all

times so it's recording at 24/7 okay so you see in the app on the left as I've

been talking it's been just going through the process and and you see in

the video me wiring the one in this Honeywell chime

and I'm just putting the chime connector just where the batteries could you can use

this on batteries as well this particular chime and I'm just putting it in the

middle there and then obviously close the Bell housing up. Next thing is today

we find the doorbell and wall plate mark out where you're mounting it I was have

a good look you don't want it to be hidden in the corner because it'll block

the camera and obviously look at the your going to install a wedge so I'm just

drilling a hole out for the bell wire and I've already pilot drilled the

screws for mounting at the backplate goes without saying suppose that make sure

that you are confident where the camera is going before you start drilling holes

and plastic and wooden frames I'm pretty confident that I will get the view that I

want from this camera going in the corner of the wall and door frame just

there okay so that's me screwed on now and I can also see that I

have installed the wedge to face me away from the small wall that comes away

there and ready to now pull our wires through and just loop them up ready to go

there just to loop the screws around so I'll just hook around the screws tighten

them up and you'll notice there's a code on the back of the camera they'll just

explain that in a second but the first thing just to click it in is just offer

the front of the the top of the camera up to the bracket and then you should

hear an audible click when you push the bottom in once you get it lined up like

so once that's done obviously you now mounted, and you know ready for some power

everything's connected double check everything if you're a breaker switch

you breaker on make sure obviously the transforms okay you can see there the

protek mounted in the housing doesn't this show I have to go into a housing

like that could just on a din rail-mounted

and somewhere else within the house okay so now is connected I've got some

nest alarms that he's gonna do it product assists for the Wi-Fi so you

push the smoke alarm it then gets all the Wi-Fi details off the smoke alarm

obviously yours might be a slightly different setup depending on what you're

using and you see how it's finishing up adding it to my nest account

once it's finished add in the Wi-Fi settings I should be all good to go so

now it's in my main nest account if you haven't got one you'll have to create a

nest account but there is already nest stuff on it this particular system once

it goes and gets all the details should you should be able to see a view of the

camera and as you can see that the view of this particular hello camera and the bell

and it also asks you do you want to install the wedge I already have done

and it will also ask you to ring that the chime to check if you're running a

different chime you can hit the button now do you have an electronic chime I

don't this is the ding dong type so I leave that one unselected and I'll now

push the Bell and we should get a confirmation that everything is OK

and there we go that's the hello and chime all ready to go pick the language

I'm going for English us and that is full of pre-recorded voices that you can

set when answering the door that's it that's how to install a Nest Hello onto a

chime doorbell thank you very much for

58 | How to install/buy a watermaker (With help from SV Delos) - Sailing Around the World - Duration: 14:12.

In the last episode, we show all our work in organizing the new Shogun

and preparing to leave.

We're almost ready, just waiting for the documents.

But we'll leave this subject for the next video, because as we speak,

we will show the installation of our watermaker.

And this story began a few months ago with the help of Brian, captain of the SV Delos.

♫ Music ♫

Before we continue, remember to like and prepare to comment.

Your feedback is very important to us and helps the channel grow.

In October 2017, we were in Paraty when a watermaker came up with an excellent price.

We're here, getting to test the portable watermaker that promises to make 5 liters per hour.

And it only uses 4 amps of energy.

But since I didn't understand anything about watermakers, I took advantage of Brian as a neighbor and asked for a consulting.

We bought the watermaker and we still had help from Brady, who brought us from the United States

a new membrane and a repair kit.

What are you doing, Beto?

I'm replacing the membrane.

I replaced it but I must have done something wrong, because now the water isn't getting out.

Then I sent a message for the assistance, and they asked to send some pictures to them.

To see what could be happening.

The watermaker we brought from Brazil, small, compact.

Which is giving Beto some work to do.

There were leaks in our watermaker.

Then we sent an e-mail to Katadyn, who produces this watermaker.

And they answered us asking for pictures.

I detached, and I sent the photos to them.

And they found where the error was.

One of them was here, it was misplaced.

It was turned upside down.

And then they told us how to repair it, and now I'm putting the pieces back together.

We don't have any leaks anymore.

This company is very nice, is answering everything to Beto, right?

They respond to e-mails immediately.

♫ Music ♫

Beto is working there with the watermaker.

We're trying to set it up here under the sink.

Which is a place that doesn't get in the way, and when it closes, it has the garbage basket, does not disturb the way much.

Well, the process of the watermaker here on this boat was quite smooth, because we have a lot of space.

Right, Thais?

So first we thought about putting the watermaker down here, that we had a space.

Except that the water hose passage would get pretty complicated to get to our tank

which is on that side.

And then down to the sink, which was our disposal.

So we moved the watermaker to under the sink.

And we connected by pulling the engine water, which is what it recommends in the manual.

Here was where we had to make the connection that pulls the salt water and goes to the watermaker.

We installed that T, that's right there.

Coming from the hull water, it is the same as the engine one, as recommended in the manual.

This hose runs from here and down to the sink.

The water coming from the engine gets through this filter, this first pre-filter, to remove the large particles.

And then it goes on this other filter here, which is a 15 micron filter, which is to take out all the small particles.

This filter enters the watermaker in here.

It gets through the membrane, the membrane filters it and gets out here or through that pipe that goes straight to our tank.

Then the salt water that is discarded goes through this pipe here and we made another T here in the sink.

And it discards the water by the same place of disposal from the sink.

That way, we didn't have to make any more holes in the hull,

using the current hole in the hull of the engine to collect water and the current hole of the hull for disposal is the same as the sink.

To connect, we put this key in here.

So just turn it on and it already works.

This key is linked there in our panel, so we can control consumption.

And we used a pre-existing channel, where we passed the wire to the panel.

So it was super smooth because the boat comes with a manual and it already shows all the channels,

from where it goes, where it goes.

On the panel, we made a connection here.

Where everything is connected. That way we can measure on our display everything that is being done.

We connected here and put a 20 amp circuit breaker.

And the negative part we put where it was already pre-existent, everything connected very nicely.

That way, every time we turn on the watermaker,

we can see here what is the battery consumption that it's having.

We control it with how much water it generates.

Then we fill a bottle of water, see how long it takes to fill this bottle

and how much it's consuming here.

That way we can see if the watermaker is working perfectly.

Today is...

Watermaker day!

Water is coming out.

Water is coming out.

What's up, Betinho?

Are you finishing?

Only the leaks now?

Only the leaks now.

We need to understand why is this leak here.

And we need to see the quality of the water as well.

♫ Music ♫

We have water!

Well, our watermaker, as we told you, is 12 volts

and it makes five liters per hour.

It's little, but if you think that, for example, the sun here in the summer,

which is when we use more water, is born about six or seven in the morning and goes until nine at night,

and as it works with solar energy, we will have plenty of water.

In the summer, at least.

Go on, drink, Beto.

What did you think?

All right.

Kind of sweet?

I found it kind of sweet.

Now we will see the quality.

Look, it's down, it's in 881. Before it was above 1000. Above 1000's is not good.

Now it's getting down.

To drink, it has to be below 600, let's see how much it can gets.

We will see now.

Uhul, it's coming down! 760.

But even by changing the rings and sealing, the leak continued and we found that the valve

is damaged and needs to be replaced.

We're still using the desalinator until we can make that valve change in Croatia.

Where we will send the watermaker for a review and finally to use it with maximum power.

If you enjoyed this video, give it a like.

But if you have any questions or have any compliments, comment.

Critics are also welcome, as are the shares.

See you next week. Goodbye and good winds.

It was working, wasn't it?

Yes.

We could rebuild. Enlarge the containment field.

Make it bigger and stronger than ever.

But we need money.

Steal it?

No, no, no, I'm not a criminal.

That's right.

The real crime would be not to finish what we started.

We'll do it here.

VideoCast #21: How Do You Know if Someone Needs Deliverance? - Duration: 28:32.

This is Deliverance Ministry.

FM Videocast number 21.

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Deliverance Ministry.FM where we give you

proven insights about the demonic realm in deliverance ministry so you can wage spiritual

warfare more effectively.

This is Dr Don Ibbitson and I'm here with my colleague andcan co-host Dr Phyllis Tarbox.

Welcome Phyllis.

Well, it is good and we just want to welcome you again.

We've will appreciate it.

Appreciate all the comments.

We're getting suggestions for topics and we'll probably mention those again right at the

end in that, but we do appreciate the interest that this podcast is drawing into.

We want to keep coming up with good topics for you and we hope you're gonna.

Enjoy the [inaudible] today.

It's a question that we hear frequently when people come to the counseling center and some.

And it goes something along like this is like, how do I need deliverance?

How do I know?

Um, if I need deliverance, do you think I need deliverance?

And so we want to address that question.

Many times people ask it in context with somebody else or their family members, you know, that

they think do they need deliverance.

So that's the topic today and I would encourage you to listen to the end because we're going

to tell you again about our opportunity to get a free copy download of our women's ministry

plain and simple manual, and we also want to introduce a brand new resource that we

have on our website or our counseling academy website.

It's totally free, so we'll talk about that at the end as well.

So I guess Phyllis to started off, you know, people understand where it counseling center

and a deliverance ministry and that's how people find this.

And so many times people have, by the time they found us, they have looked for help elsewhere.

Sometimes we're not the first stop for a little while ago, last pit stop when people have

tried everything else and then they'll try to deliver it.

They come for counseling and many times they've tried other things to write just reading on

their own or going to the pastor and prayer at the altar and I'm reading the Bible books

and sometime you know the whole question of deliverance.

So they read about it or found us or somebody referred them here.

So we want to focus on that topic today as I talked about, once again, we're not going

to try a copier or a cover.

Everything again here, we've had other podcast talking about deliverance.

What it is, and quite simply, deliverance is the casting out demons.

It is simple.

It's, um, there's, we talk about another podcast about resisting demons and discerning spirits,

but this is really enjoyed which is the driving out of demons.

That's what it is.

And of course is it is part of the arsenal or are part of the tools.

And we believe that the believers in certainly counselors should be using to help people.

So I, to start off on a kind of a high level of you, we want to share our philosophy about

who needs deliverance.

Very simply answer, I think we all need deliverance.

Don, we live here and this is a place where we know that Satan has fallen in revelation

[inaudible] little time in great fury and you know, hey, if we're blood-bought redeemed

by the power of the Holy Spirit and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, then

he's not going to get our soul.

But you know what, a little bit further down in revelation 12, it talks about how he wants

our testimony and how he'll, he'll release that onslaught of oppression against the saints

of God to really hold them out of the fullness of their call.

And so even from a standpoint of maybe I'm not being completely harassed, but I'm not

getting.

I'm not taking the borders of what God has asked me to do.

I seem to be delayed or disappointed or hindrance.

Hindered, you know, even from that perspective, I think deliverance is, is a, is a must so

that we are not, you know, I don't want to get to heaven one day and have God say, Hey,

you missed it.

You didn't do it.

You didn't do your call.

Well, that's it, and you know, the Bible does say these devils are here to kill, steal and

destroy, and we do as a general rule, I can say quite simply that it is for everybody

and he's ministered to people delivering sometimes for people who have been, they would say Christians

all our lives as far as they can remember it not been involved in a lot of people were

thinking of worldly Sim and still had demonic torment because there are open doors on and

there's a bunch of them as to how and why.

And I think part of the thing where people get confused about is, you know, I heard somebody

say, I think it's a good ter term.

People, if they don't, haven't been taught about the demonic realm.

They learn how to cope or coexist with their demons or there's somebody heard, I heard

the phrase that life is about demon management.

And I think it's an interesting phrase, but I think that's a fair where people learn to

cope and coexist with demonic strongholds.

And um, you know, people go through counseling many times for a long period of time, right?

I, I tell people that all the time on where you were, where your different types of counselors,

a lot of people have used a lot of them and they get to us and they're like, what's going

to be different?

How is this going to change my life?

And you know, there's a joke that I don't hold their hand site.

I certainly don't throw Kleenex boxes at them like some of my friends have suggested don't

provide them with saying we don't have compassion, have compassion, but I, but we don't have

like hello kitty band-aids where we're not gonna just sit here and try to cover up the

wound and pretend it's not there.

And soft soap it.

I mean, you know, you want to get down to the heart of the reason to why it got there.

Why that, why you're being tormented or harassed or what's keeping you out of your call and

get it out of the way and get moving on.

Exactly.

And we, and I think it's, you know, we do, we do counseling, obviously work for training

that we'd do it and we, and we, we're not trying to say one is you need one or the other.

I think for us and what we want to talk about here that many times the issue is timing,

you know, is people come in and, you know, should I get counseling first, do I need deliverance

first?

And I guess our simple view is that if people are open and willing, they should go.

We encourage people to consider going through deliverance first.

And that is because

it's difficult to counsel a demon.

I mean, you know, they're not usually, they're not usually very pliable with counseling.

They'll try to keep the people from hearing the actual truth.

They'll get in the way.

They don't seem to respond very nicely when it comes to counseling.

So you want to get them out of the way and then.

And then you'd be able to speak in the council and the direction and the renewing of the

mind that the person needs to move in order to, to, to take back what the enemy has stolen.

No, I think that's an important point to emphasize that, you know, sometimes people come in and

um, you know, we're, yes, we're deliverance ministry, what we do, counseling.

We tried to assess every time on the first appointment or the first session, whether

it's in the office or over the Internet where people are at spiritually, what is their background,

what do they believe?

And if we bring up the con, you know, the topic of spiritual warfare, deliverance in

there, they just sit there quietly, their eyes glaze over.

Then we know that that may not be the first in the best approach for plan.

So we have good tools and things we can, we can help people with their bucks.

But once again, I think if people are open and we'll get into some of the evidence is

a demonic strongholds and see sometimes w we'll get to that in a moment.

But I think as a general rule, we would say if people are open and people come in and

we find this from deliverance, are they open to it?

And then we, we believe from a timing standpoint, it is best to go through deliverance first.

Yeah.

And that's one of the things that I talk about a lot too is, is, um, you know, people will

actually say, well I have somebody that I want to send to you, but you know, they really

don't know anything about deliverance and I don't want them to be afraid.

And, and I'm like, wow, just send them.

Because, you know, I think as counselors we're trained to know when the person is ready or

if they're not going to be ready, but we can plant seeds and open doors and really, you

know, opened good doors as to what the Lord can do in their life.

And we're sensitive to that.

So people need healing.

Counseling.

Yeah.

We'll walk it out very gently at first, we're never going to rush them.

I'm trying to let people through deliberate.

We don't push.

Some people just are not ready yet, but I think you said something that was very important.

It's worth highlighting our experiences in doing this a long time.

Obviously that if people.

Sometimes we get people in here who have been through counseling for years.

I mean I've talked to people who had a couple, just really just the other past couple of

days and they went to a marriage counselor for four years and it was like, man alive.

I don't, I don't have a four year program.

People I don't want to pay for me and I, you know, I just think, hey, let's do some glimpses,

do some counseling, but then you need to be part of a good healthy spirit, bible-believing

church butter.

But the bottom line on deliverance is as we understand that the driving out of demons

that are people are free from a demonic

spirits.

Then then if you like, there's more room in there.

So if you're like for the, for the spirit of God to work and then their minds are clear,

right?

Abled able to win the mind battles you talked about significantly.

Remember, after the deliverance that I went through was, it was almost as if the holy

spirit just stretched out on the inside of me and went, ah, there's more room after that.

Then I, my hunger increased for the word of God and to know more and my mind was renewed

and you know, became realize who I was and I wasn't living in conforming to the patterns

of the world.

You know, I had an identity that was founded in Jesus Christ and that, and all of that

was really after deliverance for the Greens are Greener for many voices are gone and you're

able to focus in on the word worship.

So that's part of the fruit of it.

And so I guess our view is that yes, many people do need counseling and we do cows and

we're great believers in Christian counseling.

But going through deliverance from a timing standpoint is something we strongly encourage

people to do.

But once again, people will come in and they'll say, I don't know that much about deliverance,

but do you think I needed?

What are, what are the indicators or what are the evidences, evidences of demonic strongholds

questionnaire and comes out with things is just, you know, there's some things that we

look for.

Evidence of demonic strongholds is an area of a person's life where they, where they

cannot get the victory, that same button that gets pushed and you go there and

it takes over, and I've heard people say it, they just get completely out of control and

they don't even know how to stop it, but they recognize it because they recognize it as

something that's been in their family and it's a pattern that they've come into agreement

with and that spirit is, they're driving them with that, that anger also, same thing.

You know, one of the things I was very affectionately aware of was fear.

Fear with something that you know, no matter how bold and brave I would try to psych myself

up to be, I was afraid.

I was afraid of things in the dark.

I was afraid of failure.

I was very insecure about who I was.

You know, all of those things did not line up with who I was meant to be, but whenever

I got into a situation I would cower and I would back up and so I didn't have any way

of really controlling that.

Those things just really drove me.

Things like addictions or perversions, people that are hungry for your biography.

Yep, Yep.

Even less, less of any kind, less for attention, like you have to be approved of and needed

and wanted, or you're automatically rejected and you're depressed.

If that's a pattern, there's a stronghold there.

Whatever it is, it's painting your life that does not line up with the word of God

and you've tried.

I think it's important to emphasize we're not on the mindset.

They're not demons behind every person's life and everything isn't the demon sorority or

because we have our unrenewed are what we call our flesh, but I think coming back to

emphasize in the area of a person's life, one of the indicators where they cannot get

the victory and that means, Hey, I know this is a problem.

I have a problem with anger, but I can't control it.

Or same with the depression.

Some people, they really can't even put a finger necessarily why they're depressed and

there's elements of sadness.

Things will happen, but people are just bound up in depression and may at times they can't

even put a finger on.

And how or why.

So those, we'd come back to areas of a person's life where they cannot get the victory.

They tried, they do classes, they try techniques, you know, um, they do things, they do the

things.

I get counseling pastor read books and say, you know, this is a problem, but I've never

gotten the victory over this.

Or I've had it a long time.

Those, once again, are what we would call a strongholds in area of your life where you

cannot get your evidence is about right.

I've had many people that have come in and said, I don't know where it started.

I just know that I've been dealing with it my whole life.

Yeah.

And that's why sometimes we do the interview and you can go back and, because you know,

when we talk about spirits and demons just can't jump on a person.

There's entry points or open doors.

And sometimes when you know a person's background, you can say, wow, maybe, you know, this may

have been where it, you know, how that, how, and why that spirit entered into you.

And so, um, so the bondage is real that and Dah, Dah, Dah.

These spirits are evidence and evidence.

And the second one, and we've kind of touched on it, is as we mentioned people many times,

if they come for delivering, so they, us, they have tried other things.

They have been to the pastor, right?

They'd been to the altar for prayer, repeated prayer on what and what typically, um, may

don't get any kind of a, what we'd call lasting fruit.

It might be temporary, um, but there's nothing really that sustains and elastic and we believe

deliverance done is robust.

God can get free from a spirit as a matter of keeping that spirit out.

And you shouldn't see fruit.

Well,

I think, you know, we talked about this a lot, you know, especially at the altar because

I think that's one of the places where you know, hey, that's said that's a sanctified

place.

That's a place where I should be able to get free and go up on Sunday and you can absolutely.

God delivers a myriad of ways.

But if there are open doors and that's what we've talked about before, you're not going,

like you said, you're not going to see this, the fruit sustain because those doors are

still open and they walk out of the church, the spirit, you're going to come right back

again.

And so that's part of that repeated prayer.

They just, it's kind of like in a cycle.

So that's one of the reasons why we take people through the interview process to discern those

doors.

A lot of times they can't discern them on their own, you know, and it does take outside

years.

I'm always amazed on when people come in and they tell you their story for an hour and

then you have a clear picture of the cycle and the pattern that has been in their family

from the very beginning, and I call it the same repeating play, but with different actors

at different stages of their life.

And then you, you, you mentioned that.

It's like, wow, there's been that spirit of death or whatever in their life all this time

and it's just been repeating with different people and they look at you like, wow.

Obviously of wow, I never thought of it.

We've heard it so many times.

As you do mark deliverance is like anything you get, you get, you hear the same stories

or people say the d, The demonic human but are not creative or not creative because they

have a pretty good set of tactics that work.

So, but when you hear that and you understand, you see the demonic.

Keenan will work pretty consistently when people's lives, um, over and over again because

quite frankly, their methodologies, they work, they work pretty well.

I did just say that to you this morning with one of my clients because she said, why?

Why am I having to go through this?

And I said, well, you know what, your story is unique, but the devil is not so with women,

you know, because that's pretty much my wheelhouses.

It almost always starts with things like abandonment, rejection, then insecurity in alienation and

so that's what the enemy loves to do that because he wants to build a distrust in the

woman's heart in order for them to begin to harden their heart and when their heart, heart,

and then there's unbelief.

There's distrust, there's walls that go up and it blocks the whole loving nature of a

woman.

How we were created to be.

And so you know, all of that stuff has to come down.

All the self defending all of the, all of the protection devices, everything that a

woman would try to insulate themselves with in order for them to be free.

And I think that's one of the worn out ones that the enemy uses over and over again with

women.

Because of the way they've been either handled by their parents are treated by their husbands

or whatever it is that self defending that gets in there really hardens your heart and

keeps them out of that full freedom.

And so those are the areas where we can take a look at that.

And like you said, no, that, you know, we've heard it over and over and over again.

So we understand that this is an agenda that the enemy uses on mascot and help that person

get free.

Yup.

That's uh, it's important because there are these open doors as you understand those in

course, you know, people do their homework and they get, God gives him a revelation as

they look back on their own, on their own sites.

And so, so we've, we've talked about that there are the, the uh, areas of a person's

life where they can't get the victory.

Maybe they've had repeated prayer, right?

Council, they've tried even fasting or reading the word or declaring things.

And for some people, they've resorted medications now and our society and the secular world

for a lot of the issues, emotional issues, people deal with depression, fear and anxiety

that the, you know, which we believe there's spirits of the roots of these things that

many times people will have to go to a medical professional and up, met on medications.

And typically, um, you know, our approach with the people I've met, very few people

like them, they don't enjoy being on them.

And you know, there are band aids, no condemning or you know, talking badly about people doing

that.

If you're hurt, if you're, you know, you've got problems, you go for help wherever you

can, but spirits behind if they're spirits behind these things, you really need deliverance

from then on.

We've seen people go through deliverance now in conjunction with their doctors.

Get off of the medication.

Well, I'll be the first one to go transparent on that one.

I know when I walked in, I was on antidepressants.

I'd been on them because I'd lost my mother.

Things were unhealthy and my life and had gotten upside down.

And yeah, my serotonin levels in my brain were like really low, low, low, low, low,

and so that was one of the first things they said, you know, is to go ahead and take these

things, but you're right, it didn't, it just, it didn't really, it kind of numbed me, made

me feel less emotional.

I guess that helped with some of the sleeping issues that I had.

But, but, you know, after I went through deliverance it was, it was easy.

It was like a, it wasn't a case where the, where I said, oh, I gotta throw this out right

away because I went through deliverance, I walked it out with the Lord and there was

a time where I just recognize it didn't need it anymore.

And I think that's the beauty of the way the Holy Spirit will walk you.

So we will never tell you to dump your medical.

We're not doctors, we don't do that.

We don't ever tell people that.

Do that make people feel badly for being honest.

Because sometimes they help, they help.

They can get them stabilized, but it's not a, it's not a lifetime thing.

It's not something that you really have to know that at the core I think I can count

on one hand with fingers left over somebodies.

No, I'm really happy to just see myself being happy with that.

Now.

Most people, they, they just recognize it because you know, it doesn't bring them a

cure and the side effects or no side effects and so that that's an indication.

So if you say, hey, the try the medications for these things, we're doing these and they

don't work that many times.

Evidence evidences too.

I've had like a lot of success stories with that as far as people being able to drop them

and not take the medications anymore.

So that is exciting.

When you start to see people go back to their doctors and their doctors are all a dinner,

you know that, oh my gosh, what have you mean you're, you're, you're not taking your medication

anymore.

And then test the thyroid, test the test the body for all the different things and then

say, wow, you don't eat it.

You know, you really are.

You.

So many times when people go through deliverance, they get free from the spirits that have been

affecting the physical body and the body that the organ isn't the organs and the glands

can come back into alignment, you know, and that's the thing we lose sight of sometimes

in deliverance at Jesus called spirits out people sometimes it was for healing,

about one third of them were right.

One third of the healings were for deliverance related.

I'm not sure the number, but it sounds reasonable.

I mean, one of his ministry ministry of course was preaching in deliverance, but one of the

women went in scripture that he minister to his head was crippled by a spirit of infirmity.

So she had a spirit of a physical issue with, with the physical crippling but delivered

from.

So we've seen that happen, um, about it, you know, personally, it's just, you know, we

ask people to stir up their faith for that, believe that Jesus is your healer.

You're deliver.

Those are indicated many times the medications aren't successful with depression and anxiety.

And then there's another group of people.

Sometimes the evidence is pretty clear.

You know, I mean some of these things we've talked about being can be subtle but summer

and I mean people will say they were there fighting or arguing with her husband and they

will seek, that person will start, their eyes will change, they'll start snarling, start

speaking and things or they are where their eyes have seen their eyes go read, they've

seen have looked or, and they'll use words like I look in my husband or my wife's eyes

and say it wasn't them somebody else.

So those are indicators to pretty, you know, pretty, uh, pretty strong in.

Those are indicators to that when they come in for deliverance or the, their differences

are pretty strong as well.

Right?

I mean a couple of times in the last few weeks you've had your hand on that door because

they've gotten free and those are the ones who come in saying, you know, I don't know,

I just don't feel like myself, you know, I'd feel like I do have all this other stuff that's

going on inside my body.

And and when they get prayer or those things go and some, sometimes you know, not, not

all the time, praise God, but once in awhile you'll see a manifestor and deliverance to

what does it happens.

We try to prepare people.

I'm not saying there is none but, but, but you know, I believe is people repair the,

they're usually, you know, lesser should be sometimes people tied in with that is you

will hear people when we, when we talked to them the first time and asked them about issues

in their life and they'll say words like it's not meat.

It's like something in me and they don't know what the it is.

Some I've seen people literally break down in tears when we go through the teaching and

see based on what you're telling me, I'm at least things that are happening.

I believe these are demonic spirits and say that's what it is, is demonic one or more

demonic spirits because they know it's not them.

It's something in there.

Yeah.

It's like a spirit of rage is a good example of this example.

Exactly.

Just comes right out and it just takes right over and starts to scream and loses control

and you know the in and I think with rage, that's it.

That's an indicator because you know you can have a ton of anger, but it's the one time

you cross over into rage and you know that that spirit is there and it happens more and

more and it'll just, it'll start taking over.

So it's not a one time incident rates.

If you're recognizing it in you or someone you know, that's a real, that's a real strong

ruling spirit.

They will say that it's powerful and it gets fed and want to get failure, right?

You almost want to get fat and so not a one hit wonder and it wants to write and they'll

lay for awhile and they get fed, but in some way somehow either on your own or self deliverance

or somebody praying for you or somewhere supernet you need to get delivered set free from that

spirit.

So those are, those are indicators to.

And like I say, sometimes it's, it's obvious and people, you know, we can see sometimes

you'll see it in church situations, you know, certain where the spirit of God isn't there,

there'll be manifestations in the presence of God.

And so those are pretty evidence doing it because they say, wow, that person, you know,

needs deliverance.

So those are, those are some of the indicators as well.

So, um, those are kind of the things we kind of lay out for people.

And um, in terms the answering the question, it's like, do you need deliverance?

Like, yes, everybody needs a little bit.

And I tell them, we go through deliverance from time to time.

It's not a one time, one shot deal where you get it done in 1989 and you're good to go

clean, right?

Maintenance, keep the doors closed and we can, we re open door, stuff happens, life

happens and we can open doors.

And so we live in a fallen world.

We're not in the world, we're not of the world, but we're in the world and these devils don't

give up.

They can, we can reopen doors.

And so we just go through deliverance again.

No, and that's absolutely not any one or two things you'd want to emphasize for people

listening to this in terms of what they should take away from this session on deliverance

ministry versus counseling.

Phyllis, anything that you want to highlight?

The devil has been seeing the freedom and they've not had sustainable freedom with the,

with what they've been doing.

Then guess what?

It's probably not working.

Take back what the enemy has stolen because you know it's time for you to really walk

in the fullness of your inheritance.

None of us know how long we have and I don't want to be, like I said earlier, the one that

gets up to heaven and says, and the Lord said, you know, you never really walked in the fullness

of everything I wanted you to do.

I wouldn't hate to hear that for our next generation to our children won't do it for

yourself.

Then do it for them.

I think it's important again, that it is for everyone and we encourage people if they're

willing to go through deliverance first as early as possible.

I would say almost a disclaimer experienced is that people going through a trauma going

through a traumatic event during the middle of a divorce.

Emotions are raw.

Many times they do deliverance, but you know, it's too easy when the dell is open, those

doors, anything's too sensitive and the best time to go through deliverance is on the other

side of a trauma of some kind in the middle of it because it's just generally more effective

because there is an element of having to it out because there's an element of discerning

and resisting the spirit.

So we try to come back to the house.

So I think get, like to emphasize that we hope you've enjoyed this podcast and got some

benefit out of it.

Um, we'd sure love to hear from you.

Um, we'd really like to have you visit our website or, and counseling.com website.

The MOST POPULAR BRANDS In The World! - Duration: 10:54.

Ever since the birth of commercialism, owning brands has always been a great deal.

And like it or not, there is a certain status symbol associated with brands.

Which is why everyday sees the birth and death of many brands, but there are some which have

become extremely popular the world over.

Lets take a look at some of the most biggest brands in the world.

16.

Gillette.

Consider this.

Almost half of the world's population needs to use shaving products on daily basis.

And in fact, many in the other half also use it from time to time.

And there is no doubt that Gillette is one of the most trusted brand when it comes to

shaving products in the world.

With grooming becoming even more important with the beard coming into fashion, Gillette's

value has only gone up.

Today, Gillette is worth 25.1 billion dollars!

With a good marketing campaign in place, we can only expect this number to go higher in

the coming years!

15.

HP.

Computers are today more of a need than a want.

Which is why a brand like HP has become very valuable over the years.

It's products have gained a reputation for being trustworthy and efficient with a good

after sales service as well.

Which is probably the reason why HP's value today is around 25.8 billion dollars.

But even with such a huge market, HP has been re-inventing itself from time to time to keep

itself popular.

That is why we have seen its tagline change from "Invent" to "Let's Do Amazing"

to "Make it Better".

And what's more is that it is now looking to enter the smart phone market as well.

14.

Disney.

Ever since the release of Mickey Mouse, Disney has become a favorite among the kids.

Which in turn means that parents have more or less no option other than watching either!

And the good quality of Disney films have ensured that they do not end up disappointed.

What's more, Disney has always been known for great ideas which translate into films

and television programs and then later into the collectibles and toy markets.

That is why they are today valued at 28.1 billion!

And even though movies face a threat from online streaming, the theme parks and toy

businesses that Disney has is not really going to go anywhere!

13.

Cisco.

Staying connected is extremely crucial for all businesses, be they small or big.

And the bigger they get, the more necessary it is for them as they often operate out of

different locations, sometimes from all over the world.

This is why Cisco has become a huge brand today with an estimated value of 29.1 billion!

Cisco is also investing in the internet's future prominence and setting itself up to

be a go-to company for IT professionals looking to maximize the value of new data and interconnected

systems.

So we do expect Cisco to grow bigger than they already are!

12.

BMW.

There is a certain thing about cars.

Owning a big expensive car is often an indicator that you have made it in life.

And one name that consistently pops up whenever people are looking to buy a car that comes

with a huge brand value is BMW.

And what is driving BMW's value up in the recent years is that they are looking to aggressively

enter new markets like China and India.

That is one of the reasons behind its huge worth of 31.8 billion.

And with newer and better models, BMW is definitely one of the brand that people would want to

splurge on.

11.

Mercedes Benz.

And when it comes to luxury cars, Mercedes Benz will definitely feature somewhere.

There is something classy about the design of Mercedes cars which they have even carried

forwards in their newer models to appeal to the young rich as well.

And of course, they have added all sorts of luxury and efficient accessories to make themselves

even more desirable.

All these factors contribute towards driving its value to 31.9 billion!

10.

Toyota.

While it may not be a top bracket car like BMW and Mercedes, regular people also need

cars and that is where Toyota comes in.

Toyota cars are known for their on road performance and they have been coming out with newer models

ever so often and focus a great deal of design and performance.

Which is why Toyota is one of the most popular cars on the road and two of their models,

the Prius and the Camry are among the best selling cars of all time!

So there is little wonder that Toyota's value is today at 35.3 billion.

9.

Intel.

The tagline of the brand, Intel Inside, became synonymous with computers.

And as we know that computers are in even greater demand now than before, Intel has

continued to grow.

It has become one of the most trusted names for computer chips and that is why it is valued

at 37.2 billion today.

But the thing with Intel is that they also have an eye on the future.

Which is why they are looking to innovate continuously so that they remain relevant

even in the future when smart phones threaten to take over the computers!

8.

Samsung.

With a huge range of electronic products, it is pretty easy to spot a Samsung product

in almost every house.

From ACs, Fridge, TV to phones and tablets, Samsung is known for their quality products.

And they have also pushed the importance of interconnectivity of products to make smarter

homes.

Their smartphone market is also pretty huge and they are kind of the only real threat

to Apple's supremacy in that market.

Samsung's value is 39.6 billion today and we only expect this number to go up in the

coming years.

7.

McDonald's.

When it comes to food, there are really very few competitors to the burger.

And whenever you think of a burger, McDonald's will definitely pop up in your heads.

The big yellow M has become synonymous with burgers and they have also come up with newer

products that also take health into account like egg white delight and premium chicken

wraps.

So we can only expect its brand value of 42 billion to increase in the coming years.

But even if they didn't come up with the new products, we really do not expect kids

to go anywhere else as a Happy meal is kind of all they want every time!

6.

GE.

GE has been one of the most trusted names in appliances for a very long time and they

are easy to spot almost everywhere!

But they are also playing it very smart and have launched their "Brilliant Machines"

campaigns which basically banks on connecting their machines to enterprise software and

they have also invested a lot in this.

So the value of GE which is today at 46.9 billion is expected to go upwards on the backing

of this innovation!

5.

Microsoft.

From Windows to Office, Microsoft products have been extremely popular over the years.

And while the debate of a mac vs a windows is not really going to die down any time soon,

we do not expect the brand value of Microsoft to go down either.

It is today valued at 59.5 billion and they are also streamlining their products under

the one Microsoft label!

And they are also looking to enter the hardware business which means that they will kind of

be a one stop shop for computers in the future!

4.

IBM.

Consider this.

For 20 years straight, IBM has filed more patents than any other company!

That should tell you the kind of innovation they do, right?

And the result of this much innovations is that people are looking forward to products

and services from IBM and that has driven their value to 78.8 billion.

And they are not resting there for sure.

They have already targeted developing countries and have opened up 144 offices in these regions

to build a strong ground for their expansion!

3.

Coca Cola.

Considering that Coca Cola's secret formula is one of the most securely guarded secrets

in the world, it has to be one of the most profitable brands right?

And that is not at all far from the truth as the value of Coca Cola stands at a whopping

79.2 billion!

And what is one of the reasons behind their prolonged success is their great marketing

campaign.

Just imagine this, the way you think of Santa Claus in that big red costume is because of

a Coca Cola campaign!

And these brilliant marketing campaigns are the reason that it was actually the biggest

brand in the world for 13 years because well, technology was just more in demand!

But that does not take away from the fact that Coca Cola is one of the most popular

brands in the world.

2.

Google.

Google is one of the most used brands in the world.

Every time we are on the internet, which is like almost all the time, we end up using

a google product.

Their search engine is generally considered to be the best and with products like Youtube

and Android, there is no doubt that they are one of the most valuable brands with a net

worth of 93.3 billion dollars!

And what's more is that they are also looking to invest heavily in futuristic products and

have already come up with space age tech like google glass and the self driving car!

So it would not come as much of a surprise if google became the biggest brand in the

world in the coming years!

1.

Apple.

The tagline for the iPhone, "If you don't have an iphone, you don't have an iphone"

pretty much sums up the entire range of Apple products.

There is a fierce loyalty amongst the users of apple.

And truth be told, few brands have enabled so many people to do so many things so easily.

And they keep coming up with newer products and better products and their customers have

no hesitation in trading in the old products to upgrade to a newer one.

This kind of loyalty is hard to build without quality and that is exactly what Apple provides

– the best quality.

From smart phones to tablets to computers, apple is pretty much the most desirable brand

today.

And that is the reason behind its mind boggling worth of 98.3 billion dollars.

And expect this figure to cross the 100 mark pretty soon!

We have no doubt that all of us have used some or all of these brands at one time or

the other.

heads because of these brands.

ASMR Barber vs Comedian - Duration: 54:32.

Mark: Are you filming now? Victor: Yes. From the beginning to the end. Mark: OK.

So these 2 guys are on a golf-course...

And there are these 2 girls, 2 ladies in front of them and they're talking the whole time -- I can't

look over here but the two guys said... the first guy said I'm gonna go over and ask

these girls since they're talking can we just play through...ask these ladies. One of

them is kind of cute. So he walks up sees her faces and he makes a u-turn he comes

back to his buddy and his buddy goes what happened? And he goes "one of those ladies is

my wife and the other is my mistress." And the other guy goes well, I'll go.

And he goes over and he turns around he goes, "Me too."

Small world.

They give a great shampoo here. Maybe the only way you could say great

Actually that's the only way you can say, "Great head." without it being dirty.

This is one of my mom's favorite jokes.

A guy... these are kind of Yiddish jokes...

A guy calls up his brother -- he used to live with his brother. He left his cat with his brother...

He calls up and he it says "how's Tabby"?

And his brother goes...

"Tabby's dead."

And the guy goes, "Man what the Hell. You can't... "

can't tell me like that what we first of all would happened?

Tabby was up on the roof and then Tabby slipped & Tabby fell off the roof tabby broke his

leg. He bled out. He didn't survive. We had to put him down. He's like okay well,

that's how you tell something. That's how you let someone down easy all right?

He goes okay. I remember that.

So the guy calls his brother up again... about a month later.

How's mom... Ummm... she's on the roof?

Victor: You can pace yourself. Mark: Yeah, I have to remember them.

He's been doing this for 60 years...

How long have you been going this?

Um... let me see... I started when I was 15 years old...

Barber: 62 years. Victor: Amazing.

That's since I started.

Since I came to Nagoya... 55 years.

Before that I was working near Takayama City.

I was born in Hida City.

Where?

Barber: Hidashi ... it's... Victor: I don't know... Barber: Near Takayama. North.

It's snowing there now.

I got another one. My wife and I were happy for 20 years...

... and then we got married.

It's weird with no laugh track, man. I've been these jokes are 61 by the way.

Victor: 61 years old? Mark: Yeah, these jokes are the same age.

Victor: These are all originals, right? Actually. Mark: Yeah, I wrote some of these, & then they become folklore actually.

I mean there's like there's Yiddish jokes, just kind of what they call it public domain?

Nobody knows who wrote them.

So this is one of those. A Jewish doctor told me this joke.

It's a doctor's favorite joke.

A man walks into the doctor's office said that he had chest pain.

The doctor said thee is nothing wrong with you got a clean bill of health and he let him go, and on his way out the man died of a heart attack.

So another guy is coming in the doctor's office and sees this guy lying dead in the doorstop.

And he runs and get the doctor.

And the doctor says "can you help me? Do me a favor?

Just turn him around so it looks like he was coming in instead of leaving my office.

Here's an old one. Went to the doctor I said you know when I raised my hand and I

can't do it now but when I do this and raising my hand it hurts hurts when I do

this you know and I teach and I have to write, it hurts.

"Every time I do it it hurts." "Well do it less." "Thanks, doctor."

Actually I had a doctor say that to me when was much younger. I was standing on my hands a lot.

Walking on my hands. My wrists hurt and the doctor said, "Well, stop

doing that." Mark: Yeah, exactly.

He was an athletic doctor. He was a doctor for The Tampa Bucks or something. Mark: Exactly.

He just said, stop doing that.

Guy walks into a doctor's office...and he's got a grape in his nose...

and he has a banana in his ear and the doctor says, "What seems to be the problem?"

And he said I don't feel too good and he said it's not surprising you're not eating right.

I feel like I've heard that one before.

I've probably done some of these. I've done these on podcasts and I've done these on stage.

Just for MC stuff.

You're looking better by the minute, man. Mark: Can he do my face too? Not just the beard?

Can he do my face too not just the beard? Does he do skin work?

Victor: Yeah, he does that. He'll do your forehead. And your cheeks...

You know you can shave everything.

You can shave all fo it. Barber: The bottom too? Mark: And my chin too.

Mark: Please. Barber: The forehead to. OK.

Barber: How about your sideburns. Regular?

Mark: Please make them as short as possible. Barber: Can I take them off. Mark: Please.

Barber: Your Japanese is very good!

I'm still a long way away.

I used to host a show on TOKAI RADIO.

When did you come to Japan? Mark: Maybe about... 27 years ago?

it must be more. I'm 26 years. Mark: 28 then?

He's been longer than me so...

Now I'll have to add subtitles to this.

God damn it! (lol)

sS

So this guy calls up his boss and says I don't feel well and not coming in and

then I don't you know just don't I'm kind of depressed the boss said when I'm

depressed I always just have sex with my wife

so do what you can and call me back so the guy calls them an hour half later

and he goes I did what you suggested you got a nice house I could I like that one

I like that one too I could add a lot factors but each he

probably should add some jokes to them to it also trying to have to remember

jokes by theme you know any jokes in Spanish yeah it's a really bad one

you've heard it before this place went boom-boom Iago drama full of una broma

in this manual it'll be careful he's not kind of my ear on it is maybe use my

head

que hace el pase el agua nada

it's really bad you know that's an old one didn't that someone taught me I

learned it when I was learning Spanish how many lives is this about eleven but

they all screw they all screw with my Japanese it's cruising you know I don't

know about you but I think in Japanese now you just have to it's faster right

when you're living in Japan and you can speak Japanese you think in Japanese

it's faster but now I have some spanish-speaking friends and so now

sometimes that's the defense I'm mixing Spanish to Japanese well I try to speak

Spanish my Japanese comes on yeah I do stuff really quick stuff like that

quiero Tapia if you speak Japanese and English

I mean Spanish you'll get that it's like you know better sounds right to me yeah

but it's Killick America because table air Tiberias eat in Japanese but also

table hoon sounds really Spanish to me so I say it in Spanish a lot isn't up

instead of kiss I saw he saw Sir Thomas double double double this day Celia Cruz

there's another doctor joke um I went to the dentist and the dentist said your

teeth are okay they're fine actually but I think you might need glasses

listen you can tell that by looking at my teeth and he said well you came in

through the window so probably you need glasses I like that one I've done that

on stage years yeah

so I went to the risk I went I went to the I went to get glasses to a different

place and I said to the receptionist my eyes are really bad I need glasses and

she said you're not kidding this is the ladies room

I have to do this in things so the way I can I'm always impressed when you go on

stage and start doing the Bernie Sanders jokes and the booking right of course of

course that's pretty shortly not not a lot of longevity it's topical and you

yeah you have to use them as soon as you write them because six months later I'm

not gonna work this is funny actually can i plug our comedy thing you have to

we're you know I'm running the Goya comedy calm and you can check us out at

Victor's Victor's plateless you've been on stage with us and

hopefully again soon and Steve Howard and I wrote a lot of jokes about Hilary

being president because did we thought that was going to happen and then it

didn't happen we had to throughout 38 jokes that's that's why I am angry about

the election I didn't care who won I just

I wrote 38 jokes for a sure thing and now okay I can't see min I but servo

Kukui Tommy okay Don Meghani

you know in Delina oh okay are you nervous

II probably can't do it when he jokes while he's shaving but people were

making excuses after Trump got elected and it's like well now the Trump gotta

like that I can't play the piano well you couldn't like could you play before

No so this guy this is about incentive there's a guy he asks his neighbor can I

borrow you a lawnmower and the neighbor said no he said why not he said um

because Tuesday I'm gonna have lasagna

and the neighbors what does that have to do with your llama and he said nothing

but if I don't if you don't want to do something one excuses as good as another

it's actually a Yiddish lesson it's actually like blogged about you're

giving people excuses actually yeah that's nice even if it doesn't make any

sense yeah any excuse doesn't matter if it's a line

that design does not want to do it so there are your button once you've got a

lot of hair often sell this here I like it really there you know what I like it

really bear I like it I don't like you know having to go a lot to the barber so

mm-hmm I like you know two and a half three months in between as much as they

could take off you might actually use even get it shorter than that spot it's

fun no it's okay this is such a pretty good they always do it too much before

they shave I asked him not to do muc style Monk style and they do it amongst

our because that's what I mentioned you know

so

but guys having such problems with this wife so he breaks it to the doctor the

doctor said she's mean to you and doesn't want to have she doesn't wanna

have sex with you and that and she's mean to you because she needs she needs

something from you and the doctor said want you to watch I'm only gonna do this

once so he grabs the wife bends her backwards and deep kisses her about a

minute and a half and then brings her back up right and the doctor said did

you see that husband said yeah he was she's going to need that at least once a

week and the husband said well I could bring her in Tuesdays but Wednesdays I

have to work

I don't want to be cut my neck when I left on my own stupid Julie

what do you think about down when you can kind of see where a job is going do

you think it's a big thing exactly that that sometimes means it's the comics

fault with old jokes you know where it's going because that's why they're old

hmm you know it's a new comedians always if I can if I tell your joke and you can

see where it's going it means I'm telegraphing the joke which at which a

comedian is not supposed to do you try not to do that right because if you

Telegraph it's called telegraphing it's a punchline

because if you do that somebody like this has happened in our shows we have

those people together yeah they punch like it's too easy so

you have to blindside with the premise you have to be a little more vague and

you can't mention the punchline word in the premise darling so I'm gonna sample

you're getting just a ticket favorite sorry we still have a lot of time

this guy's really good this is they don't have haircuts like this anymore

Wow

there's another one

guy comes home sees his neighbor nude

running through the bushes he goes hey Joe what are you doing nude in my bushes

and Joe goes what are you doing home 45 minutes early

I could do some of my stuff that I just did because it's already out there now

they didn't stay so I got down

there you go

this is like a presidential haircut I mean this is like what do they think I

am do they know I live in Nagoya I'm not visiting so here's some stuff I already

did so it's already out there okay in my spare time I tried to take up writing so

what I try to do is have some friends to write screenplays so I try to write part

of a screenplay and the first draft of your screenplay is called a pilot and I

try to write a new pilot every week and it's been eight weeks and not one of

those guys has written me back

okay I'll pay up here

so is having argument with the girlfriends

that she wanted to continue her school and I said I have my reasons but I don't

want you to do that I want you to stay here with me and so because the first

reason technically kindergarten isn't really school so

so bad well it's my last joke you're gonna call me I need to do a strong run

at the end for a change you know I'm holding the strong

I actually had more of a beard in December but I had to shave nears Day

special requests

I can't talk right now

so my wife's not that's right

to do this before he gets tonight no my wife's not that bright when she watches

TV 60 minutes on TV it takes her two hours and I'm not saying she's a

complete idiot because there are some parts missing

you know the scratch because it's easy to buy

hey this

so guys married for 50 years his wife drops dead because so if you know he's

crying and so depressed it's something she comes back from the dead they live

another 10 years she drops dead again go back to the second funeral he's crying

they carry her out in the casket

and the first time they did that they had dropped it we've brought it back to

life and they went into the wall and they bumped the casket fell over she

came back to life but another fuck another five years and

then she dropped that again and at the third funeral he's crying and upset and

as they're carrying her out in the casket he said watch out for the wall

so check us out Nagoya Nagoya comedy Tom Sequoia comedy calm

we're comics every month new material come see us

okay I can't hear you he's still in my ears

now

we have time for one more yeah this would be the last one

you probably heard the story about the the frog and the scorpion this is a

little bit different the frog and the Scorpion there's a frog near the Nile

the Scorpion wants to cross and the Frog that's getting ready to cross the Frog

can swim across but the Scorpion can't scorpion of course asked the Frog if

you're going across the Nile would you take me to and the Frog a lot of people

heard this story Frog said no because you're a scorpion and you will sting me

and we're both gonna die in the middle of the Nile both gonna drown if you

sting though so I can't take your cross and the Scorpion said hey man this

Scorpion said why would I do that he's got to look this Christian said why

would I do that we're both gonna die I'm not gonna do

that so the Frog takes the Scorpion on its back half way through the Nile to

get halfway exactly and this scorpion stings the Frog the fuck that's what I

thought you said you were gonna do that and the Scorpion said well you know this

is the Middle East we both have to die

this is where kind of boy so I've never had such great shape

it's it's about that boy I partied in Sioux style

very much it's more to do the Senate so the zoo tano - Ali a little

cazuli get bogged down in honey cause it would kill your mother

5 Things I LOVE About Working For Myself - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 9:44.

Hey Dan here and in this video I want to share five of the things I most love

about working for myself. I've been self-employed for about a decade now and

there's good things and bad things but in this video I'm just going to focus on

what is absolutely awesome about it. And I don't share this to brag or be like:

yeah you should do this too but I do think working for yourself is in many

ways the future for many different types of people. It provides a lot of benefit

over working like a traditional job and one of the reasons that so many people

fail to make the leave is just simply this pain and pleasure they associate a

lot of pain with quitting their job or taking a risk and they don't necessarily

associate enough pleasure with the benefits of working for yourself so my

hope with this video is if you don't yet work for yourself but you're kind of

wanna that this video will just be a little more kick in the ass about how

awesome it is and maybe help encourage you and push you towards that goal

number one I love the learning aspect I get so much learning so much new

information into my days I can be reading a autobiography I can be reading

a psychology book a business book all the time I'm learning and this is

possible not only because of the freedom of time you know I can go to the gym in

the middle of the day and listen to a podcast on history but it also actually

ties in with business and with learning because you have to learn so if I am

doing a new marketing campaign I might have to learn how to do a

marketing campaign or if I'm working on a video I might have to learn about a

certain topic for that video so it's this thing I love doing learning about

business and psychology and the world and then I'm getting paid to do it and

encouraged to do it by it benefiting me in my business so the learning aspect

both through education like books podcast courses all that is awesome and

then there's the learning aspect of just running a business of trying and failing

of you know new ventures new things you're doing all that where you're

always learning and that's super cool I've always thought it would be the

worst life ever be like stagnant you know you go to

university you learn all you need to learn and then you go in your profession

and just sort of go through that for 40 years that sounds like hell to me so

very grateful of the learning opportunities working for myself here

the next thing I love is the flexibility and variety in my day-to-day so typical

day right now I'm in Prague I'll get up usually without an alarm clock but like

7:00 8:00 and go to a cafe after breakfast go to a cafe work for a couple

hours and then head to the gym at the gym I'll often like with snow podcasts

or have a call with one of my team members and go through things while I'm

like on the treadmill or whatever and then I'll come home and work maybe do

some filming or some coaching calls and sometimes go to a co-working space or

another cafe you might have guessed I have a bit of a need for changing my

environment not being in the same place all day and I like that variety in the

day it really breaks it up I remember working in an office during the summers

way too long ago this is probably 12 years ago and just like looking at the

clock from 8 a.m. until lunch like what country lunch and any change in

environment was just such a like so wonderful and the day seemed to drag on

so much and I definitely don't have that now I feel almost like the day's run out

too quickly because there's always change in environment and all that and I

love that I have the flexibility to do that it's up to me to design that

whatever it's gonna work for me and then I can just do it and you know no one's

telling me not to the third thing I love about working for myself although

sometimes I might not admit it is the challenge sometimes it can be a little

too challenging maybe a little frustrating but overall I love the fact

that there's always new things I need to learn and new things I need to figure

out and it's not always easy and that's great imagine having some kind of career

where it's the same thing every day and you're never being challenged you're

ever being pushed so for example this year I'm doing more hiring and growing

my team and so that's required me to learn how to hire how to fire in some

cases how to manage people how to set up procedures all new to me all not natural

strengths I have but I've had to do it because it's part of getting to my

bigger goal and I like that it's challenging it keeps us growing a growth

is the fourth thing I love about working for myself is I feel like I am always

growing and evolving you know we're then you'll find if you go out for dinner

with like a group of ten entrepreneurs most of them are into personal

development stuff as well whether that's things like meditation and philosophy or

Tony Robbins type stuff or just reading about psychology or always trying like

new diets or new whatever they do it because we're always being challenged by

our business and if we want to keep growing and evolving we have to be

getting better and that's often why we turn to whatever it happens to be some

kind of self-help or personal development to get better because we

have a reason to always be improving always getting better I do worry that if

I had some government job doing kind of the same thing every week which don't

worry never ever ever happen but if I had that I do worry that I just would

stop trying to improve because it wouldn't have as much of that motivation

because it's like all right I'll I'll get more efficient but I'm getting the

same amount of money I'm doing the same thing you know wouldn't have that

motivation so I really love the growth aspect because I feel like it helps me

become a better person and obviously benefits my business and everything else

by doing so last thing you probably knew this was coming

is freedom freedom is a really important value for me I don't love being told

what to do and I especially don't love telling other people what to do to be

honest I am big believer in personal freedom on most levels you know beyond

just murdering strangers on the subway or whatever and I like that I am my own

boss and I'm in control of what I want to do it's it's actually at this point

kind of hard for me to even comprehend I know I sound like an asshole here if you

are currently working in a job but it's hard for me to comprehend having to ask

for permission to like take a day off because I have friends visiting or go on

a trip like if I want to go New Mexico to have to ask someone to do

that and so that's something that just I don't know it's really important feeling

like you are your own boss and there's been a lot of times where I guarantee

I've had more stress absolutely more responsibility than if I've had a job

and probably working in some cases although not all cases longer hours or

at least equal hours but it's a totally different feeling it's like a feeling of

responsibility and leadership that causes the stress rather than feeling

like you're forced to do something like that dreaded feeling of I have to get

out I don't want to do this but I have to do it I felt that maybe once or twice

in the last seven or eight years and I think it was for like a doctor's

appointment had to get up for and something to do was like getting a visa

or something and that feeling sucks and again I'm making this video my whole

channel is based on helping you create the life you want so this video is not

meant to be like hey life is good haha it's meant to be like life is good let

me help you make you know if you're not already working for yourself let me help

you do that because it's very possible you're very capable and if you've made

it this far it you probably do definitely have an interest in working

for yourself or you've like went off to the bathroom and left your computer

playing and stuff like that in which case whatever now but really I share

this with encouragement I hope you found some inspiration with it to imagine that

life for yourself where you don't have an alarm clock you can travel when you

want and it's not about having an easy life you will work hard you will have a

lot of responsibilities as you grow your business you may even have more

responsibilities and more hard work but there's this magic of working for

yourself where you're always learning and your challenge you're growing and

you have the freedom to do what you want that is something you cannot put a price

on so I would really encourage you you're someone who's been on the fence

about working for yourself I talk to people all the time who are

debating quitting their job and then they hold off and then a year later

they'll email me hey I'm saw this job you should have quit your job

go you like this short things can happen and even if they don't time is precious

so if there's a big step you've been meaning to take to help you work for

yourself this is me encouraging you to take that step and do it you will not

regret it caveat you might regret it for a few

months when you're really stressed or business is tough but in the long run

you will never regret taking that leap and having faith in yourself and

confidence in yourself that you can do it and doing it thank you for watching

if you haven't yet subscribe to the channel at the end of the video there'll

be some cards that pop up to what I think are some of my best videos on

working for yourself how you can actually do that and implement it and

make it happen so check those out as well click the

subscribe button if you haven't already and let me help you create that awesome

life have a great day
