The Aqualish species were made famous by Ponda Baba in the Cantina scene of A New Hope.

Since then they've become a prevalent alien throughout Star Wars, so today I'll be talking

about their biology, society, and history.

Like I always do, I'll be using Legends material to fill in some of the gaps, but

I'll try to keep it to things I think are likely still true in canon.

The Aqualish people were sentient humanoids easily identified by their tusks and large

black eyes.

There was variation throughout their species in their skin color and number of eyes.

Most seemed to have a natural brown or black color to their skin, but green skinned Aqualish

with more human looking eyes have also been seen.

They had either two or four eyes.

They also had different types of hands.

For example, Ponda Baba had five fingers, and members of the senate could be seen with

three fingers.

Their blood was red and did not cauterize, but that's obviously a retcon to explain

why Ponda Baba's severed arm bled after being cut off by a lightsaber.

Originally from the water-covered planet Ando, they were members of the Galactic Republic.

During the Clone Wars they seceded and joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

In Star Wars Legends, the different races of Aqualish were called Aquala, Ualaq, and

Quara.

The three subspecies looked down on each other, and the Aquala specifically hated the Quara,

blaming them for their race's reputation as ill-tempered thugs.

However, the culture of all three revolved around aggression.

Force sensitivity in the species was rare, but not unheard of.

Aqualish could be seen as members of both the Jedi and Sith Orders throughout Legends

history.

Beyond that we don't know much else about them, at least that I would still consider

likely canon, so I'm going to go into their Legends history to flesh this out a little

more.

The Aquala, the Quara, and the Ualaq were constantly at war with each other as they

evolved.

The Aqualish Civil War broke out fifteen thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, but ended

in a treaty after a Corellian or Duros ship landed on their planet.

The three then united as one and killed the offworlders.

They reverse engineered the secrets to interstellar travel and brought conflict to the area around

Ando, until the Republic defeated them.

Shortly before the Clone Wars the Republic straight up demilitarized them because they

couldn't stop their cycle of violence, and that brings us up to the quote unquote present

day of the films.

Behind the scenes, Ponda Baba's hands in A New Hope sparked the need for multiple subspecies

of Aqualish.

His hands are fin-like when attached to his body, and then hairy and clawed once cut off.

The almost identical character of Teak Sidbam was also created to try to reconcile why Ponda

looked different shot to shot.

That's about all we know about the Aqualish species as of right now, so that's it for

today!

Are there any other species you'd like to see me cover like this?

Vag.

Can I help you?

How was your work meeting?

Lame. As usual.

What?!

So I met this bodacious snack yesterday on a task, and I think she'd be perfect for you.

No, Liv. How many times do I have to tell you. I'm not dating right now.

She's super pretty, really really cool, and she's not looking for anything serious.

She's just what you need to put the nail in the Dylan coffin.

Oh, if she's so perfect. Why you trying to pawn her off on me?

Because you need this more than I do.

No really, why?

Because this isn't about me.

It's about you.

No. You have a big, gay crush on Edison.

(Olivia screaming over Bee)

NO EARTHQUAKE!! It's California!

Did you feel that?

Are you okay?

Look.

I just think it's time for you to get back out there.

Do you want to see a picture?

Not really.

Yeah, I mean she's pretty I guess.

Hang out with us tomorrow. Please?

We're going to an escape room. It was my idea.

Okay. First time you guys are hanging out and you're going to be trapped together in a small, creepy room.

How do you know you're not going to get murdered?

So you'll go with us?

The one next to the frozen yogurt place?

Yes.

Fine I'll go.

Siri, please send Aya "She's in."

(Siri) Sending Aya bring Depends.

Alright.

Yard sale.

(bad ass, rap music plays)

Gary?

I heard yard sale and I came running.

Literally, I ran. That's why I'm late.

Luckily this fair maiden gave me a ride.

That belongs to you.

Anywho...

How long have you been out here? Looks like they're really cleaning you out

Yeah...um, I...I just started.

Oh goodness.

Well, they don't call me the yard sale master for nothing.

We'll clean ya up.

I don't know what I want. Do I want iced or hot?

I want hot. It's so f*$#ing hot outside.

Do you like this bat? Serena Williams used this so $50 and it's yours.

Beatrice! Olive oil!

Don't ever call me that again.

Well how are you two doing on this marvelous Sunday afternoon?

We're fine. What is going on here?

What does it look like?

The world's worst yard sale.

Okay, well I just made $50. So that's cute of you to say.

And where might the royal princess Dylan be? I'm surprised she's not here, with you.

Your sign says 'yard sard'!

What!?

Ah! Customers! Would you like to take a look at our array of lovely treasures?

We have a book, a cookie tin, uh, how about cheeseballs? They were just recently purchased and they are quite fresh.

I assure you it really is quite good.

Yard sard?

I love a good yard sard. What ya got?

Um, well. Let me show you.

You know, I got some collectibles here. I got this Christmas tin.

Oh cool.

Can we go yet?

I don't want to spend my day off spying on Edison.

Shh! Just give me five more minutes.

I knew I should have gotten iced. I totally regret hot.

Who is that girl?

Oh my God, they're definitely flirting!

Probably are. Does that get you all hot and bothered?

No. It gets me all gross and disgusted. Let's go!

Stop laughing!

Bye, Ed!

What's going on?

Oh, I'm changing your locks. Time's up sweetheart.

What?! No! Vivi please, c'mon.

Wait. Call me "V." Trying something new out.

Okay, V.

Yeah, I like that.

Yeah, okay. V. Look.

I spent all day selling my possessions. Here's $250. I'll figure out the rest.

C'mon. I just need some more time.

Okay, let me tell you what I'm going to do for you, Anne.

And this is only because I loved you so much in Les Mis.

You're still evicted.

But, I won't rent your apartment to anybody for...a whole month.

That way if you can find some place to stay and get your shit together maybe you can get your place back.

Okay, but..I don't have anywhere to stay.

Ohhh! That's not my problem.

Ok, excuse me. Here I come facial placenta!

(SCREAMS)

What is going on!? What is this?!

Haven't you ever heard of the Little Olivia who cried wolf?!

What's going on?

It's temporary. She needed a place to stay.

For how long?

Just like a month or so.

A month? I can barely stand her for a minute.

Calm down.

Yeah. C'mon. This is going to be fun. Roomie.

I have to poop.

MYSTERIOUS Discoveries Science STILL Can't Explain! - Duration: 12:30.

From bundles of rats, to ancient dolls here are 10 of the bizarre discoveries that science

cannot explain….

10.

The Ulfberht Swords

Ulfberht swords were the weapon of choice of the Vikings, along with other tribes around

northern Europe.

They had a long, double edged blade, and a straight crossbar over the grip.

There are only about 170 still known to exist today, each of which dates to between the

9th and 11th centuries!

And the cool thing is they have the tell-tale inscription in the blade itself.

Said to be stronger, sharper, and better than any other sword at the time, they were owned

by the wealthier members of society, and came with a hefty price tag- about the equivalent

of up to $24,000 in today's prices.

The name itself of Ulfberht is a form of early trademark, signalling that the sword was made

in a certain way.

Interestingly, they were all formed with varying methods, but the most surprising thing about

them is the composition of the metal.

The trick to making a good sword is perfecting the amount of carbon in the blade.

If there's too much carbon mixed with the iron, the swords will break, but not adding

enough meant the sword would bend.

The Ulfberht swords were the perfect blend, and it's not entirely clear how they managed

this.

It truly was a science hundreds of years ahead of its time, and it was only until the industrial

revolution came around that it could be replicated.

To this day, by using the production methods that they had at the time, no-one knows how

the Ulfberht blacksmiths were able to craft such impressive weapons.

9.

The Drepanosaurus

Whenever a new fossil is found, it gives further clues as to the evolution of animals, and

of those that once roamed the earth.

Every now and then, though, something is found that makes no sense at all in terms of scientific

understanding, and requires a complete re-think of what is taken as fact.

This is exactly what's happening with a little known creature, the Drepanosaurus.

The first fossil was found in Italy, but it was all crushed and had to be re-constructed.

Scientists believed it was an extinct reptile, but that's now been thrown into doubt.

A second fossil was found in Ghost Ranch, New Mexico, and this one seemed to have a

claw on each hand instead of fingers.

It's now thought that rather than being a dinosaur, or a reptile, it was in its own

category of creature.

Its giant front claw was connected to a flat bone that is seen in no other known animal.

It also had a slender snout, a long muscular tail, and a tail spike that allowed it to

hold onto trees.

In fact, what was once thought to be a reptile actually resembled a mammal- more specifically,

the anteater.

The problem with this is that evolution dictates that animals are constantly changing, and

fossils show the pathway towards the animals we see today.

This fossil is so similar to something today, that it almost seems impossible.

Some have suggested that the two species evolved independently from one another, which could

explain this, but others have suggested it calls the whole idea of evolution into question.

Just opened Pandora's box right there!

8.

Rat Kings

The Rat Kings are a rare phenomena from the animal kingdom that is so bizarre, no-one

is entirely sure how it happens.

You may have seen one before, but if you haven't- they really are something quite unusual.

They have been a part of legend for centuries, and are formed when a number of rats become

attached by the tail.

With all these tails becoming entangled, the rats lose their ability to move independently,

and die a slow and painful death.

Rather than being a regal creation, they would be a ball of complete suffering.

This only happens with one species, the black rat, but it sometimes happens with other animals,

such as squirrels.

Despite being written about a lot, only a few examples have ever been recovered, but

they do exist.

Science can't explain this, though, because the behaviour or tail entanglement has never

been documented in rats.

Perhaps it's a birth defect, or something that happens in cold temperatures to share

warmth.

Other possibilities are that it happens due to adhesive liquids, or a sticky substance

formed by a rats skin.

In any case, it makes no sense.

And now for number 7, but first if you are new here, welcome and be sure to subscribe!!

7.

The Martian Meteorite

In 1984, a meteorite fell to earth, something that in itself is no unusual thing.

But this one, known as ALH84001, was found to hold secrets that no-one has been able

to explain.

The 4.1 billion-year-old rock is thought to have originated on Mars, having been dislodged

during a collision, and floated through space until it fell into earth's atmosphere.

Unlike other similar specimens, the surface of this rock had something very unusual- what

appeared to be the signs of fossilised bacteria.

Was this the proof that life once existed on Mars?

Or, furthermore, that this is how life found its way to earth?

Numerous studies have been conducted on the rock, and so far no conclusions can be made-

even almost 35 years after it was found.

The structures could be a result of bacterial life, but could also be a geological formation

that just so happens to look like something unusual, merely by chance.

Newer analytical techniques may finally unlock the answer, and by the time NASA has the chance

to discover evidence of life on the red planet itself, it might just turn out that, for all

this time, the truth has been here on earth.

6.

The Longyou Grottoes

The Longyou Grottoes are a series of underground structures near the village of Shiyan Beicun,

in the Zhejiang province in China.

They are thought to be at least 2000 years old, but scientists and researchers have no

idea how they were built, what they were used for, or even who was responsible for them.

They were originally discovered in 1992, with a total of 36 grottoes having been found that

cover an area of 30,000 square metres.

Each one is carved almost 100 feet into solid siltstone, and contains features such as rooms,

gutters, and pools.

As well as the questions of construction, it's also peculiar how they were so precisely

carved, why they remain in such good condition, and even why there were no fish at all!

I mean, who the heck was here?

The grottoes have been flooded for centuries until the government drained a lot of them

so they could be further explored.

They're proof that there was an advanced civilisation in the region at a time, even

though none have been documented!

It seems every time researchers uncover new things, they also find more questions that

science is unable to explain.

5.

What was the first dinosaur?

Since we first realized that dinosaurs roamed the earth, palaeontologists have been trying

to understand the full range of creatures that once lived, with particular interest

revolving around which was the first dinosaur to ever live.

For a long time, it was thought to be the Eoraptor, a small dinosaur whose fossils had

been found in a 231 million-year-old piece of rock in Argentina.

Recently a new fossil has been found in Tanzania of a whole new species, called the Nyasasaurus,

which is more than 241 million years ago.

This could be the true first dinosaur, or a relative of the early dinosaurs, but it's

becoming increasingly difficult to know where the line is.

Of course, even if the Nyasasaurus is determined to be a true dinosaur, there's still the

possibility that a new fossil could be found that predates it.

The search for the first giant lizard will, therefore, continue and is unlikely to ever

be fully explained.

4.

The Nampa Stone Doll

The Nampa figurine looks like any other that has been made by an ancient civilisation.

The mystery surrounding this one, though, is how it came to be in the place where it

was found.

It was discovered in 1889 near the town of Nampa in Idaho.

Workers were searching for water, and dug a well, which involved drilling a borehole

to 295 feet.

At this depth, the drill started spitting out clay, and the Nampa stone doll was found

within the debris that was pulled out.

The depth at which the workers had drilled means they would have gone through a geological

layer known as the Glenns Ferry formation.

This has been designated a US national landmark because it's the source of one of the greatest

collections of animal and plant fossils in North America, and was created about 2 million

years ago during the Pliocene-Pleistocene era.

Does this mean the Nampa figurine originated from this time, far before humans were known

to be in the area?

Did some other creature create it, or is it simply a hoax designed to fool researchers?

Most believe it to be the latter, or that it's an artefact that managed to fall through

fissures in the earth and settle in a place, surrounded by relics of a much earlier time.

It's still not a certainty, though, and the doll continues to be a mystery.

3.

The Piri Reis Map

Today we take maps for granted.

Satellite technology combined with the work of cartographers over the years, plus Google

of course, have created incredibly detailed depictions of our planet.

All we have to do is use our smartphone!

This wasn't always the way, clearly, and maps from centuries ago were just kind of

close approximations based on ship voyages.

Well that's the way it's always been assumed, but there's one map that is difficult to

explain, known as the Piri Reis map.

The story goes that it was drawn in 1513 by the Turkish cartographer, Hagii Ahmed Muhiddin

Piri.

He was also a sailor, and used 20 different maps and documents as the sources for his

work.

The strange thing about this map, that has left scientists scratching their heads, is

how accurate it is.

Furthermore, it also depicts Antarctica, more than 300 years before it was officially discovered,

and in this map it shows the southernmost continent as the ice free land mass that it

would have been more than 6000 years ago.

Could this be evidence that he based his map on drawings by ancient civilisations?

As far as we know, no ancient civilization travelled the oceans like this.

Did he guess about the continent somehow and miraculously get it right?

The way the map is drawn is also unusual, because it uses what is known as the Mercator

projection, a map format that was only possible with the creation of the chronometer in 1760.

How did this cartographer manage to create such an accurate map, more than 200 years

before that?

Like you've probably guessed, no one has a clue!

2.

The Voynich Manuscript

The 600 year old Voynich manuscript is often thought of as being the most mysterious book

that has ever been written, and still, to this day, scientists aren't able to explain

what's inside.

It's made up of 240 pages, each of which is written in a cryptic text with unusual

diagrams and illustrations.

Everyone who tries their hand at decoding it fails, whether they be scientists, cryptographers,

or codebreakers.

Of course, it could be that it's a complete nonsense, but the intricacy of the images

in the book would suggest that it was written by a highly intelligent author.

Recently, Canadian researchers have tried to use AI to decode the book, and it found

that the first pages appeared to contain Hebrew text, but in a seemingly incorrect way.

Some of the words have been deciphered to be botanical terms, but, again, don't make

sense in the context that they are written.

Perhaps one day the Voynich manuscript will be understood but, for now, its puzzling even

the most powerful computational programmes designed solely to solve the task.

If you want to learn more be sure to watch my video on the most mysterious books ever!

1.

Dinosaur and Human Footprints

The final mystery is one which calls into question the idea that humans weren't around

at the time of the dinosaurs, because their footprints have been found side by side.

The discovery was made in the Paluxy river, Texas, where hundreds of dinosaur footprints

have been found.

Their foot impressions were perfectly preserved by the river bed.

As researchers detailed the different prints of varying sizes, it soon appeared to them

that some of the shapes they were seeing were made by the feet of humans.

And it wasn't their own either because the others were all stuck in the rock.

People are all kinds of confused.

Could this be proof that humans existed a full 65 million years before previously thought,

or could there have been another creature with similar shaped feet?

Some even suggest they could be the prints of aliens, of course, because that's a solution

for everything!

How about you?

Do you see human footprints here?

Or is it simply a case of mistaken identity?

Thanks for watching!

Mueller might be close to ending Russia probe

Special counsel Robert Mueller is looking to reach a conclusion about possible collusion

between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 election

and produce indictments by fall, a report said Tuesday.

Mueller and his team are hoping to turn their full attention to collusion after resolving

other matters, including whether Trump sought to obstruct justice, Bloomberg reported.

The special counsel's office declined to comment.

Investigators have found at least 13 people associated with Trump's campaign have had

suspicious contacts with Russians, including some that have already been known for months.

They include Attorney General Jeff Sessions having conversations with a Russian ambassador,

former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleading guilty to lying to the FBI about

his contact with Russians, and Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting at Trump Tower in June 2016

with a Kremlin-linked lawyer who claimed to have dirt on Hillary Clinton.

The report said Mueller and his team of prosecutors have interviewed or sought information about

Trump associates or campaign aides known to have met with Russians during the election.

Trump has denied any collusion and has called the Mueller probe a "witch hunt."

In the little more than a year of the probe's existence, 20 people and three companies have

been charged and five people have pleaded guilty, including Flynn.

The Girl Tribe | S01: Episode 3 | Mallika Dua | MissMalini - Duration: 14:36.

When people go on to really nasty things like

"Tera baap", "Tu moti bhais saali, tujhe bajaunga"

I think there has to be a rule like don't write anything

that I can't say to your face.

Guys! I'm saying this once and for all!

I'm not just crazy for dogs but I really wanted to do

something for them.

I'm Malini and welcome back to another episode of

#TheGirlTribe.

More power to all the girls out there who're a part of

MissMalini's Girl Tribe!

I'm so excited! Mallika Dua is here and I've been dying

to do this show! So, thank you so much for being here

with me.

First, let me just tell you that Mallika Dua who's

absolutely looking so cute, I love the polka dots!

And you have been looking more and more fashionable

I have to say.

Just, you know, when you're a diva, no? You can't

hide it too much. Aise woh nikal aata hai.

It just bursts out of you.

And I just everyone to know three things about her

which I think is really cute.

You wanted to be an astronaut

when you were little, which is adorable!

You are shy and both of us are wearing extensions

today, as you do.

Okay, so one of the things that I really wanted to talk

about, because I live on the internet, okay?

So, it's kind of my home and just like you have this

'Swachch Bharat' campaign, I'm like, "Can we do a

'Swachch Internet' campaign"?

Because people are so mean, you know?

And I've seen it. They troll me all the time, they say

mean things. I just put up a post where someone said,

"You have a big nose." And now you know what I do?

I compare my nose to all other noses in pictures.

Yeah, that's what they want. Yeah.

In every photo and I'm like whoever did this to me,

that was so mean.

And you've obviously been on the receiving end

as a comedian.

Ya.

Not a female comedian!

But as a comedian, you have to face this a lot.

First of all, tell me what is this whole

female comedian thing?

So this term is bullshit, first of all!

Because there is no female banker, right?

There's no female real estate agent.

There is no female comedian.

Humour is humour.

And we've just made this division

because it's easy for us to justify our prejudice, I think.

And secondly you know, it's not a compliment

when someone says, "You're my favourite

female comedian."

I'm like "Okay then, among five people, you like me best".

"Great!"

Like, isme kya hai?

So, umm...

No, I get that there has to be more

representation in comedy from females.

But then, saying female comedian, just

dilutes everything.

Completely.

Because humour, unlike other things,

is not gender-based.

Ya, you may be at an authority to crack

certain jokes because you've experienced

them first-hand

by virtue of your gender.

But you're not a female comedian

or a male comedian and so I think

we need to get rid of that term.

We need to focus more on including people

and not discriminating against them because

they're females.

But, let's not identify ourselves as that.

There's all these stereotypes about comedians

who are women.

I mean it's more like, "Be a little more lady like."

Most of the time it comes from men

or something, if they don't know what,

like being a girl includes a lot of things, right?

We have all kinds of moments

and because we choose to only put out the best

stuff online, a lot of people start dehumanising us

in the process.

If we even expose a little humane side,

it's looked at as "oh, chee", I don't want to see that.

So there's a lot of that and then there is trolling.

You know I used to think that only I get trolled

because I'm chubby, or something or the other.

But it just turns out that every girl is trolled.

Somebody put a comment up saying,

on one of my pictures saying,

"Malini, you're looking older".

And my mom, who's 75 by the way,

replied saying, " So what? Are you getting younger

everyday? Then you'll turn into a baby and then what?"

I was like, "Smackdown from my mother!"

This ageism is such a thing with women in particular.

And it's so, so harmful because

we feel so much better as we grow older.

We're so much more successful.

You just see a few lines here and there

and you think, "accha, hogaya!"

It's so foolish, I don't get it.

It's more in our country at this point

that we need to open up to the idea of

not chasing youth.

Or just this idea of youth.

Because even abroad,

there are women doing huge things.

Nobody cares how old they are!

Oprah is one huge example, right?

It doesn't matter.

Yahan par hi hai, ki umar ho rahi hai.

Har cheez ke liye

hamari umar hi horahi hoti hai hamesha.

Like, once you hit an age

you can't be an actress anymore—

Actress nahi ban sakte, you can't do anything!

And it's just bizarre.

And that's the problem

I think that's one of the reasons that the internet

needs to get kinder and nicer.

That's why like, I hope you join #TheGirlTribe,

It's Malini's Girl Tribe on Facebook

and Mallika's in it too!

And we have some amazing conversations

and people in it.

And you know, one of the things

I've realised is that,

people don't treat the internet like a human place—

They don't treat it like the real world.

You know, they'll say...

Kuch bhi kehte hain.

Ya, it's their dustbin.

Exactly! So,

I think there has to be a rule.

Like our rule on the blog is, "We won't write anything that

I can't say to your face."

What is it about people that makes them be so...mean?

Anonymity.

Haan?

Anonymity.

Like the minute you realise that you are not

identified for saying or doing whatever you want—

You're free.

You're free to do anything, right?

Like, anything at all!

And nobody will know that you did it.

It's kinda like heckling, right?

Heckling still requires guts, you know.

Heckling is like, you're doing it at the risk of being hated

by hundred other people there.

Or at the risk of being told to get out of there.

You know that is still something that's gutsy.

It's annoying, but it's not such an act of cowardice

as trolling is because trolling is the ultimate worst,

you know?

Putting out your opinion is fine.

Like, you say "Mallika, I don't think you're funny."

Fair.

I will not delete that comment or

I will not block you for it or whatever it is.

But when people go on to really nasty things like,

"Tera baap ye, tu moti bhais sali, thuje bajaounga",

and you know, things like that.

And then you're like...

Matlab, you don't have the guts to say this to my face.

Like, if you saw me in person, you'd probably not have

the guts to come up and speak to me.

You'd probably take a selfie.

Exactly!

And here you are, doing this.

So, why must I allow your trash in my garden?

When I was just starting out, I'd retaliate,

because the volume wasn't so big, right?

When you're niche, more people love you.

It's a fact!

And Ekta Kapoor told me this, in fact.

"When you're niche everybody will love you! The minute

you start getting hate, it means you're reaching

more people."

What you guys can do, and a lot of us don't know this

is that a lot of social networks have certain filters.

Like, Facebook has a profanity filter

where you can set a certain number of keywords

and not have those kind of

comments on your pictures or posts.

So there are a lot of things you can do,

but above all, I think the most important thing is,

we shouldn't focus so much on the trolling—

We should focus on what it does to us and not let

it stop us from doing the things that we have to do.

Like, if you want to wear something, you want to wear it.

You want to do something? You should do it.

Okay, so I actually got a bunch of questions for you

and lots of love on #TheGirlTribe.

So we're going to answer some of these.

So, Sunaina Holey wants to know have you faced

any issues being single?

Is that something that becomes a thing for you?

Hi Sunaina!

I haven't faced that issue apart for when you go to

search for a house.

A lot of people don't want single people.

It's bizarre!

Because families can be as fucked up as single people.

What do they think you're going to do?

Bachelors!

Okay, this one is so cute!

Naheda says, "Hey Mallika, my Duas are with you."

Is that the first time you've heard that?

No, lots!

Oh sorry. I thought she'd be...

"Dua mei yaad rakhna", everybody says.

I love that.

So she says, "Huge fan".

Shwet Gandre says "Kudos for standing

up against the establishment."

So you actually faced something

which is next level trolling, right?

Trolling by a celebrity.

Ya.

By a celebrity's fans.

Celebrity's fans?

So is that different than regular trolling?

Ya. It's very scary because, when there is an army

of people, and this happens to a lot of women online.

Like, I've not been the first, right?

It's just this culture and the only way to deal with it

is to not be bullied.

Because you may disagree with what I'm saying,

you may have a problem with me bringing it up a

month later.

You may have a problem with me saying anything, but

but the fact is, firstly we are well within our rights

to bring it up. We're even well within our rights to

press charges, if we so desire, but we don't.

And thirdly, you cannot bully someone to the extent

that speaking out becomes a problem.

And that is what we need to ensure.

Like, no matter how scared you are, girls, no matter how

whatever you are, don't ever not speak!

I love Swara (Bhasker) for not shutting up when people

try and make sure that she does.

And they try every rule in the book, to do that.

I'm glad that we have this culture now,

where we don't stop.

Cause troll armies are very, very scary.

They're really scary and they just won't stop, right?

And they'll go to all mediums.

For example, if the whole thing blew up on Twitter,

And you're Instagram is a happy space,

like my Instagram is a happy space.

So suddenly you'll see that they come to your

Insta, in your comments and they start writing

and sending you rape threats. Like, just DMing you

nonsense and I'm like, "Kyun?"

That star that you're defending, doesn't even know

you exist.

Doesn't give a rat's ass about you.

And here you are, wasting your precious time

and energy on bullying someone.

Bullying someone, yeah.

There's a friend of mine and she's an actress

and people just...Like, she will put up maybe a

sexy photoshoot and then this guy will be like,

"Where's your bra from?"

Someone told me, "Darling or sweety, whatever,

you don't wear a bra? Why don't you wear a bra?"

Like in my Instagram story.

I'm in bed dude. Why will I wear a bra?

I'm at home!

It's one of those days, you know?

The best days where you don't have to...

If I'm at home and in bed, why would I wear a bra?

Okay, so there's one more thing I'm going to

make you do!

I've decided to make a pledge board, okay?

So, I've printed out this super sexy photo of you.

The #GirlBoss and I want you to make a pledge,

as a girl, to the #GirlTribe;

something that you are going to do!

Okay.

It is your pledge!

I pledge to eradicate the term "female comedian"

Yes!

from our collective dictionary.

I'm writing "scyauz me" at the end

because that is how...

I love how you spell "Scyauz me"!

Guys! I'm saying this once and for all, for the public

Someone spells it as 'squays', someone says, 'squaz'.

It is 'scyauz' and this is my pledge!

To remove this term 'female comedian' from the online

dictionary.

Because actually it's very discriminating, this term!

I just want to say.

I love it! I love it!

Okay!

I just moved your couch only.

Aapke liye ek pin madame.

Ji! Aur meri photo kidhar jayegi?

Dono saath mein!

Accha!

Done hai, phir toh!

Here?

Yes!

Yeah!

Thank you so much!

You are the best!

Thank you! You are the best and I love you!

Alright! So there, it's happened.

I still feel like it's a little bit surreal, but Mallika Dua

was here and she was amazing!

And in case you want to see her slambook,

it's going to be up on Malini's Girl Tribe on Facebook

and I shall see you, right after this!

There are so many super #BossLadies on

#TheGirlTribe and beyond.

And of course on this show, I want to show you off!

I want to showcase you fearless entrepreneurs

and your talent, your passion, your businesses

and inspire little girls out there,

to go and do their own thing.

So check out

how this one very cool #GirlBoss

is living the "Pawfect" life!

Hi! My name is Niharika and I am

the Founder of Pawfect life.

Pawfect life is our crazy pet house!

We love having dog lovers! They can come over

and pet our dogs.

So it's more of a dog therapy and if people are going

out on vacations or probably busy at work,

then they can come and drop their dogs off with us!

We are here to take care of the fur kids!

When I was a kid, I used to actually pick up these

little stray dogs and get them home.

My parents used to be super mad at me but then

yes, my dad was like "Okay, alright, just feed them."

So I used to feed them, I used to treat them,

I did as much as I could for these little stray puppies.

And after my graduation, people were like, "Oh Niharika,

so, what do you want to do? Do you want to do an MBA

Or what are you going to do in life now?"

And I was like, "Guess what? I would like to

learn about animals!"

I'm an animal behaviourist.

I just thought that this is so much better than you know,

going into engineering, or being a doctor, or an MBA.

I'm not just crazy for dogs,

but I really wanted to do something for them.

And that's exactly the reason why I started Pawfect Life.

I am Niharika and I'm proud to be a part of #GirlTribe!

Oh my god Niharika!

You are living the 'pawfect' life!

Look how cute these guys are!

By the way, I'm definitely going to come and visit.

And the girls in the tribe can sign up!

Just go to Malini's Facebook page!

You are a #GirlBoss, which is why you're going

on my #GirlTribe wall of fame!

And that's a warp on this episode of

#TheGirlTribe! Thank you guys so much for tuning in.

And by the way, if you missed any of the last few

episodes, you can go and watch them now.

There are links below. And also, you know, I want to ask

you a question that's kind of been on my mind.

Since I never explored online dating, I really want to

understand it.

I know so many women who are happy with it

and so many who really cringe.

So my question is this,

How tricky is online dating really

and what would you change about it, if you could?

Join the conversation thread on Malini's Girl Tribe on

4th of July Ice Cream Sandwiches - Duration: 2:22.

- Hi, I'm Jerry James Stone, and happy Fourth of July.

Today's video is really more of a little bit of a food hack.

It's not super complicated, three ingredients,

ice cream sandwiches, sprinkles, and more sprinkles,

and it's just a really easy way to add a pop of color

to your Fourth of July dessert table,

so that way you can just spend

more time hangin' out with friends,

drinkin' with friends, and less time in the kitchen.

And it looks amazing.

Let me show you how.

So I just start off with my ice cream

sandwiches already unwrapped,

that way I don't have to waste time.

And go ahead and grab some sprinkles.

Like I said, there's not much to this recipe,

just a really easy way to have

a little festive Fourth of July ice cream sandwich.

And grab a few more.

America!

You could also roll the ice cream sandwiches in them,

but I kinda like the lightly sprinkled look.

That's just me.

(lively music)

It's kinda fun.

And just cover the very last side

with a little bit more, you guessed it, sprinkles.

And once you're all done, just put 'em back

in the freezer until you're ready to serve.

Right, super easy recipe.

Not too hard.

Like I said, three ingredients, and it's just fun.

It's a fun, festive, easy hack

to turn a basic ice cream sandwich

into something a little bit more.

I hope you have an amazing Fourth of July.

If you liked this video, give me a thumbs up.

Please subscribe if it's your first time watching,

and hey, you know what?

Drop a comment.

I wanna hear from you.

See ya later!

Prince William facts: How tall is Prince William? Netanyahu picture sparks search frenzy - Duration: 3:05.

The latest stop on the Duke of Cambridge's four-day tour of Jordan, Israel and Palestine is the West Bank where he met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas

On Tuesday, he visited the official residence of Mr Netanyahu who urged him to deliver a "message of peace" to the Palestinian leader

But although the important moment marked hope of better relations between the divided territories, many people could not help but focus on the two men's height

One image of the Duke stood next Mr Netanyahu and his wife Sara saw him towering over the two

A Kensington Palace picture of the three - stood with two descendants sheltered during the Holocaust by the Duke's great-grandmother - also provoked some comments

User @millywoller wrote: "Quiz of the day: Who is the tallest person there?"How tall is Prince William? William is 1

91m or 6ft 2, according to Google. Princess Diana's eldest son clearly takes after his mother in height as she was 5ft 8

How tall are Harry, Meghan and Kate? The Duke, is also taller than his young brother, Prince Harry, who is also surprisingly lofty at 1

86m - equivalent to 6ft 1. Both of the princes have tall spouses with Kate, Duchess of Cambridge measuring 5ft 7 while Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is 5ft 6

This might be why many fans have not twigged just how tall the two royals are. Prince William's height has been the source of much fascination in recent days as he meets a succession of much smaller officials

People noted the difference immediately when the Duke touched down in Jordan on Monday and was met by Crown Prince Hussein as he left the plane

One person wrote: "William is so tall and slender!" And in his latest meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in Ramallah in the West Bank, William once again looked miles taller than his companion

Perhaps Kensington Palace has even picked up the point? In its most recent tweet of the pair, shared after midday today, it showed an image of Prince William and President Abbas sitting down

Kensington Palace tweeted to its 1.57m followers: "In Ramallah The Duke of Cambridge meets Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas

"

Panel "Birds on a stone" master-class - Duration: 18:16.

Valeria Radyk's workshop "The Magic World of Handmade Creativity"

Hello, with you, Valeria! Welcome to my magical world of creativity!

Today we will make a picture with birds on real stones

I made a panel for a salad-colored room,

so I made the frame green and light green.

You can make a frame of any color

under your interior

Here is my similar work with a brown frame-for example

The size of the work, the color of the frame and birds, the number of stones and design can be any-to your taste!

Materials: corrugated board,

thermo-pistol, burlap,

cord decorative, lace suitable for the color scheme,

acrylic paints, sponge,

tassels for varnish,

flat rounded stones, scissors,

sintepon and any thin threads,

tow, twine, a little sizali,

beads for imitation eggs,

eggs can be dazzled from any mass for modeling,

link to the recipe of my mass in the upper right corner of the screen,

fabric for the frame,

decorative paper (wallpaper) for the reverse part,

napkins with birds

the size of the stones should match the birds,

birds can be simply drawn,

Any small decorative elements for decoration:

moss, twigs, pieces of bark and other.

acrylic lacquer,

get down to work:

acrylic white paint

From the burlap cut a circle with a diameter larger by a centimeter than the inner circle of the frame

The main thing is to bend the fabric in the middle of the edge, which are torn apart, so that the frame is neat.

It is better to make a few stones, and then choose the suitable ones.

I glue with acrylic lacquer, but I can glue for decoupage

Dots make white acrylic paint:

A decorative cord can be glued along the edge:

The work is ready!

I would be happy if the idea and the master class you like and come in handy!

Thanks to my subscribers, for what you have!

I'm glad that by my master classes you create your works

and this pleases you :)

I wish you creative inspiration and all

Magic and beautiful!

Until we meet again!

Creating a Folksy Floral Wreath - Altenew! - Duration: 6:13.

hi it's Therese and I'm here for Altenew today and I have for a wreath to

share with you well almost a wreath I'm using the Folksy Floral stamp set and

coordinating die but first I'm going to start by creating my own design paper

for my background and this is the cube builder stencil so I have a piece of

card stock it's cut bigger than what I need and I'm just holding it in place

with some tape or a piece of scrap paper and then I can just lay my stencil over

top and I do actually add some tape to that as well to hold it in place

I've chosen a couple of the gray colors to create my background I'm starting

with the limestone and using my blending tool just to add the color now it's

really quite hard to see this color because it is so pale but when you

remove the stencil you can really see it because I'm going to be doing such

bright floral images today I thought it would be nice just to have sort of a

muted and kind of you know that have the grays in the background I thought that

would look really nice the good thing about this stencil is that you can

actually do three different colors but today I'm only going to do two to line

up my second color see how you can see the gray through the plastic I simply just

lined that up so that the cube so that the darker color is going to be to the

left side of that or the right depending which way you're looking. I'm

using some silver stone here and I did start off at fairly lightly and then I

could just easily add more color as I wanted this didn't take very long at all

to do and the great thing about this stencil is you can create any background

to suit your project whatever colors you use in your project you can use in your

background and stencils are great for so many techniques and I don't use them

anywhere near enough how cool does that look alright now I'm going to work on my

flowers I've got lots of bright flowers here today they're all one layer so how

actually added a couple of layers of stamping to my flowers to make them a

little bit unique and that's the best thing about this stamp set is that there

are so many different ways that you can add like little details there's dots and

sort of hashes and not lines and and there's so much that you can do to make

these flowers your own and I can't wait to try out some more ideas I thought

it'd be really good to use some embossing powder to add some details or

thought that would look great as well I've linked and lifted all the products

at the blog so if you're head in through the description below you'll see a full

list of all the colors that I've used here today I use quite a few and I did

keep them nice and bright the leaves are used mostly the tropical greens but I

did come in with the evergreen to add some of the veins and also the smallest

leaf there are three Leafs in this set and I just thought having that dark dark

color is going to really make a difference in my little layout when I'm

finished I think I actually used every image that I stamped on my

little card can't believe that okay so I've got the coordinating dies and I

just attach as many as I can and I try and lay them out so that each time I

make a pass through my die-cutting machine I can get all the dies cut out

if you stamp them too closely together it's really hard to do that so I've cut

my cube panel down drawing a light pencil mark for a circle where my wreath

is going to be and I'm adding my sentiment using my Misti because I

didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't work I've used some permanent

black ink and the smile sentiment from the happy bloom set I'm going to attach

this directly to my side fold card front and this card is about four inches

square it's more of a note card and I have left like a little white border

around the panel

when I start sort of working out where I want my flowers to be I'm kind of

grouping them and I've because I stamped out three so there's odd numbers of each

flower I'm kind of grouping them in groups of three as well but not

perfectly centered I have got them a little bit off-centered and then it's

just a matter of adhering them all down I used a combination of glue dots and

some foam dots as well and I know a few of the flowers I even doubled up the

foam dots just to add some extra dimension to the card it's really quite

a simple card today nice and bright though lots of fun and then all I did

after that was add some that was the sparkling clear confetti mix these

really cool sequins and I'll just added a few of those scattered around the

wreath and I used my matte medium to do that with so don't forget to head to the

blog liked this video and subscribe if you haven't already and I look forward

to seeing you here again real soon bye
