So welcome to my spot.
This place is 3,000 square feet.
Five bedrooms, four baths.
We got a fly outside living room, and we even got a pool.
We got everything you need.
We pay $7,000 a month but, but hear me out it's worth it.
Cause it's like a home studio.
You know we always had these rooms in our houses, as black people that we don't allow
people to come in, well my living room is that room.
No one's allowed in here.
So you can look, but don't touch nothing.
First, I want to show you guys my chairs,
I call it my thinking chair.
Eames chair, a lot of people probably understand how expensive it is.
Please don't tell my boyfriend because he don't know.
When I sit in this chair the ideas they just come to me.
They just start flowing.
I have a fancy white couch.
It's very comfortable for me the only person who's allowed to sit on it in the house.
I want to show you guys my kitchen.
So welcome to the heart of my home, which is my kitchen.
It's nice to have a nice big stove to be able to really cook, and experiment cause that's
exactly what I'm doing at this point, a lot of experimenting.
So I'm a big tea drinker, this is my tea pot.
It's a copper teapot, which I really, really do like.
I feel like copper heats up the best, and the most evenly.
So I know I talk a lot about healthy living, and healthy living is really important to me,
because actually about two-and-a-half years ago I had to have surgery.
And I had surgery to get rid of something called fibroids, and part of that has got
to do with a lot of the trash, and crap that we put in our bodies.
So one of the biggest changes I made in my life was how I eat, and the water that I drink.
This is my alkaline water machine.
My boyfriend a few years ago when I got sick was so nice to go out, and buy me one.
I recommend it.
If you guys know anything about alkaline water, put it in the comments below help everybody else.
So that's my kitchen.
The next room I want to show you guys is the
room where we do the most of working,
and entertaining just follow me it's right next room.
So welcome to my dining room, which actually doubles as my writers room.
We do writing, we brainstorm, it's like all the creative magic happens here.
We even do our stand-up performances,
and I do my podcast through this room.
One of the things that I love about this house,
that you really can't find anymore in homes
are these skylights.
Look.
It brings in so much natural light, I absolutely love them.
It lends to the like the creative energy in, this room, I know you guys can just feel it.
This room is such a vibe.
I want to show you the outside living room, come and follow me.
So welcome to like the dopest space in my house, it's my outside living room.
This is the couch that you can sit on, in case you're wondering when you come to my house.
This couch actually came with us from our last space,
and I tried to get rid of it.
But everyone always talked about how comfortable it
was, and how as soon as you sit on it you fall asleep.
They're like please, please, please, don't
get rid of it so I compromised, and I brought
it to my new house, but I put it on the outside of my new house.
It's getting pretty hot out here, I'm gonna take you guys
back in and show you guys my bedroom.
So this is my bedroom where I used to sleep, and recharge for the next day.
At the end of my bed I have this loveseat.
Our five-year-old she can sleep in her own bed,
she refuses to I should actually say.
So we're trying to slowly push her out of our bed,
and right now we've got our as far
as the loveseat at the bottom of the pit.
So if you guys turn around right behind you,
it's the doors in my closet I want to show you guys something.
So this room is the most important to me, it's my closet.
I come in here I do my makeup, lay down these edges, change my clothes.
I even pray in here.
It's the only room in the house that is just mine.
I can shut out the whole entire room, and just sit in my own energy, mm-hm.
There's not enough time for me to show you everything today, but maybe next time.
