Google's big hardware event is coming

October 9th and we're getting a clearer

picture of what to expect from the show

as the days go by the event is promoted

as the pixel 3 launch event but two

companies previous two Hardware events

featured five or more product

announcements

besides the pixel 3 a pixel book 2 is a

good option and with the launch of

Google's smart display software on

third-party hardware earlier this year

it seems inevitable that we'll soon see

a first party Google's smart display as

luck would have it today my smart price

has scored pictures of the Google home hub a product that is clearly Google's

flagship hardware for its smart display

software the device has a 7-inch

touchscreen and basically looks like a

16:9 tablet mounted to Google home Macs

some of the pictures which look like a

leap store listing show a few more specs

802.11 act Wi-Fi at 2.4 and 5 gigahertz

Bluetooth and ambient light and color

sensor a full-range speaker for

crystal-clear sound

and far-field voice recognition the

listing shows the display available in

two colors chalk and charcoal with

Google's traditional mute switch on the

back and what looks to be a video check

camera on the front

hopefully the Google home branding on

this device means Google is going to

patch up some of the feature disparities

between a Google home speaker and the

Google's smart display software

currently smart displays can't join a

Google home speaker group for whole home

audio and neither do they support the

continued conversation mode the hub doze

at least look a lot like a Google home

with the white color scheme and gray

fabric speaker cover will hopefully hear

more about the device on October 9th at

Google's big show

Fox News Pushes Crazy New Kavanaugh Conspiracy Theory – His Lookalike Committed The Assault! - Duration: 5:11.

Republicans this week have been trying to launch several different conspiracy theories

to discredit Brett Kavanaugh's accuser, Christine Ford.

After their first conspiracy theory about Ford being upset with Kavanaugh's mother turned

out to be completely false, they moved on to Ford's brother worked for the law firm

that worked for Fusion GPS, which also turned out to not be true.

So now, a conservative lawyer by the name of Ed Whelan, has come out with the latest

conspiracy theory about Christine Ford's accusations against Brett Kavanaugh.

And that is, that maybe the sexual assault took place, but if it did, it was most likely

Kavanaugh's doppelganger.

Because as it turns out, there's a guy that went to school with Kavanaugh, that happens

to have a similar appearance.

If it did happen, according to Whelan, it was likely this guy.

Now, what Whelan did was he laid out a series of tweets, this massive Twitter thread, where

he put out the floor plans of the house where the assault took place, and he actually proved

that lots of points in the house actually corroborate Ford's story and her description

of the house and what happened.

So there's that.

But, then he tried to say that, "It couldn't have possibly been at that house, because

all the kids, including Kavanaugh and Ford, they actually lived a couple miles away from

that house, so how would they ever get to a different place?"

As if automobiles, buses, bikes, whatever, don't exist.

Furthermore, he pointed out that the owners of the home allegedly weren't there, so why

would a bunch of high school kids be at a house where the parents weren't home?

Did this guy not go to high school?

That's literally what you do.

You look for the person whose parents aren't home, and that's where you go.

None the less, this man has now tried to smear this other guy, who looks like Brett Kavanaugh,

happens to be a middle school teacher, I believe, in Georgia now.

He's not even a high profile person, but he's trying to pin it all on that guy.

He is the fall guy, now.

If the assault happened the way that Christine Ford says it did, it was probably the other

guy who had a similar haircut to Brett Kavanaugh.

Not only does Ed Whelan now find himself committing libel by putting this online and trying to

smear this other guy, he also left the current owners of the home in a predicament because

now their floor plans have been released online, along with their address, so everybody knows

the entire layout of that house.

Whelan found that information on real estate site, Zillow, and decided it was a smart idea

to post it.

Here's the problem with this conspiracy theory, is that its already gained traction.

Conservatives already believe it.

Fox and Friends this morning, already put it out there.

They're already talking about it, and yeah they admitted, "Maybe it's true, maybe it's

not."

They believe it 100%, and Fox News for the rest of today, I promise you, is going to

be pushing this.

They will do anything to protect Brett Kavanaugh, as if they all owe him something.

That's the thing that doesn't make any sense about this.

Why are you sticking up for this guy?

Why are you so desperate to have him, personally, on the court?

Aren't there 100 other pro-corporate, anti-consumer, anti-Roe V Wade judges you could just replace

him with?

Why him?

Why are you so hell bent on making it this guy?

Not that I want any of those kinds of people sitting on the Supreme Court for the rest

of their lives, but you get the point.

There's something really weird about their obsession to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.

Even in the light of these new sexual assault allegations, even in light of the four times

the mans committed perjury by lying under oath to the Senate committee, couldn't you

find somebody who doesn't have that kind of history?

Oh well, you're Republicans, so probably not.

None the less, the conspiracy theories about Ford are going to get even crazier from this

point forward.

They have proven that all week long.

Trying to tie her to other organizations, trying to say she's funded by George Soros

is another one that came out yesterday.

But this one, put forward by Ed Whelan, and perpetuated by Fox and Friends this morning,

not only does it undermine Christine Ford's allegations, but it's also threatening to

destroy the life of another guy who happens to be a middle school teacher right now.

Whelan has done so much damage and hopefully, that teacher down in Georgia sues him for

libel, because I think he's got a pretty easy case to prove there.

I can scroll down I can see recent comments.

And if I want I can click the three lines and see different types of information. I can look at my videos

I can look at my playlists comments. I can look at my analytics.

This is where I can check my real-time views. I can check my watch time my overall views, revenue and

subscriber growth. So right here I can see how many subscribers I've got in the last 28 days.

I could do seven days I could do last 365 days or if I wanted to I could do all time.

So right here in the YouTube studio app, you can view your subscribers.

You can view all your YouTube channel analytics. So I definitely recommend checking out this app.

And you just sign in with your Google

YouTube account and a link right up to your channel and you can check out all your channel analytics

HiiQ - SEO - Ep. 3: The Most Important Factors Affecting Your SEO Ranking? - Duration: 6:11.

Hii everybody, I'm Peter Vigilante and welcome to HiiQ - SEO. Today, we'll be discussing the top factors that affect your search engine ranking.

We'll take a look at each of these factors and how you can go about improving each of your websites.

Let's get into it. One: direct website visits. People are typing your URL into their browser was found to be the most

Impactful ranking signal to Google. This makes sense intuitively

because websites that people enjoy and visit frequently are most likely to have an audience

familiar enough to type it directly into their address bar, rather than arrive via Google search.

Two: time on site, also known as dwell time.

Google is in the business of providing its users exactly what they are looking for. In their eyes, if someone clicks on a page

and spends a significant amount (of time) on the page

they see that as a positive signal that their visitors have found what they're looking for. And thus,

moves your site up in the rankings over other sites that have a lower time on site. Three: pages per session.

Similar to dwell time Google views visitors viewing multiple pages on your site as a positive

ranking factor. If your site is currently thin on content and pages overall,

you may want to reconsider your strategy moving forward to get into search traffic priority.

Four: bounce rate. bounce rate is a single page session on your site. Once again

Google is all about the user experience and rewarding those who provide the answers to questions or search queries.

If people are continuously bouncing from your website and leaving after just a few seconds

it's obvious in Google's eyes that you are not meeting the users expectations.

Five: backlinking. Backlinks briefly, is the number of times other sites link back to your site.

Sometimes you're going to hear from us a lot that we consider the three pillars of SEO: authority, relevance and trust.

Well, the way you improve the authority, relevance and trust is by improving your backlink profile.

Your backlink profile is made up of the following:

Total referring domains. So this is the number of unique websites that link to you.

Total backlinks:

so the total number of links that point back to your site and the total 'follow' backlinks. Follow backlinks are those that pass

Linkjuice or authority to your website. We'll discuss more about 'follow' links in a later video.

Six: content length. Google dislikes thin content. In fact, there's been a lot of research that shows the highest ranking pages on Google contain up to

1500 words or more.

This is a good ballpark to aim for when generating your content marketing strategy.

If you're creating a blog and expecting it to rank with only 300 words or less you're going to want to dig deeper

to try and answer all the potential questions on a subject.

So that should be your goal with a blog answer any and all questions

someone might have related to a particular keyword or topic.

Seven: website security. If your website hasn't been moved to

HTTPS you may want to get on that HTTP stands for: Hypertext

Transfer Protocol Secure, and it is just what shows that your website is sending information

securely with what's known as a secure socket layer also referred to as having an SSL certificate.

In fact Google has publicly stated that the user experience will be impacted on those utilizing the insecure

HTTP in their url bar by showing them a not secure message on your website. In addition this provides

visitors with a sign of trust for your website. Eight: total anchors or internal links.

It used to be that you could spam your website with hyperlinks that contain highly competitive

keywords and ranked highly on Google for those keywords.

Google has since gotten wiser, but that doesn't mean it's completely unimportant in Google's eyes.

Additionally Google looks at the number of internal links those that point to other pages on your website

to determine your ranking. So a sound internal linking strategy allows Google to crawl your website better and understand your

website's content.

So try and have a good balance of internal links and external links in your site that all link together

to show relevance.

Nine: keywords. Keywords are probably a surprise this low on the list as they tend to be the most commonly understood aspect of SEO.

To rank highly for a given keyword you want to ensure your keywords appear in the following:

the body of your content, the site's title, and the site Meta Description.

Keyword density also plays a huge factor. Try and spread your keywords throughout the body of your content

and mix and match phrases a bit

so Google doesn't think that you're just keyword stuffing as this can actually have the opposite effect on your ranking.

Ten: video on page.

Adding a video to a page adds the potential for an

increase in dwell time as an embedded YouTube video (if watched) will add to the time that users spend overall on your site.

Also SEM rush has identified that adding a video to your site is yet another positive
